Gossip magazine Closer has sparked a privacy row in France after it outed a homosexual senior member of France's right - wing National Front party. Closer published photos of the man with his male partner. Politicians and journalists have reacted angrily to what they call a gross breach of privacy.

Not only is this story an illusration of how widely attitudes differ in Europe and the USA (with Britain in the middle being torn in half), it shows more evidence of a push back by the majority of people who are not 'left wing' (i.e. firther to the right than Hitler) or politically motivated against the bullying on the minorities and the politically correct screechers who support them, but are aware that tolerance requires toleration of more than one point of view. tolerating those who agree with is is easy Tolerating those who disagree is a trick the left are a long way from mastering.

That privacy is still cherished in most of mainland Europe is entirely proper, whether a person is straight gay, in a hetrosexual marriage but taking lovers, asexual, gets off on doing kinky things with life sized rubber dolls is not of anyone's business so long as it is legal and few things aren't these days, unless it affects their ability to do the job.

Golbal Warming hoax: The Real Climate Science

Scientists who are part of the 'Science Is Settled' mob are quite adamant that there is no room for discussion, that climate change is caused solely by marginally increased levels of the trace atmospheric gas Carbon Dioxide is proved beyond doubt. Unfortunately their 'proof' exists only in mathematical models, studies based on real world evidence constantly disagree.

The Daily Stirrer has always said that the Global Warming scare is based on evidence obtained solely from computer generated mathematical models of the global climate and differs widely from real world data.

Here's what Xavier Connolly (not his real name) The Daily Stirrer engineering expert wrote on the topic some time ago:

Climate Science is stupid. Stupid is ignoring known facts. Here are some crucial, verifiable facts - with citations - that people should be aware of concerning human-generated carbon dioxide and its effect on global warming. (I recommend following the links in the citations; some of them are very educational.)
The fact is, there has been global warming, but the contribution of human-generated carbon dioxide is necessarily so minuscule as to be nearly undetectable. Here's why:

Carbon dioxide, considered the main vector for human-caused global warming, is some 0.038% of the atmosphere[1]- a trace gas. Water vapor varies from 0% to 4%[2], and should easily average 1% or more[3] near the Earth’s surface, where the greenhouse effect would be most important, and is about three times more effective[4] a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. So water vapor is at least 25 times more prevalent and three times more effective; that makes it at least 75 times more important to the greenhouse effect than carbon dioxide[5].

The TOTAL contribution of carbon dioxide to the greenhouse effect is therefore 0.013 or less. The total human contribution to atmospheric carbon dioxide since the start of the industrial revolution has been estimated at about 25%[6]. So humans’ carbon dioxide greenhouse effect is a quarter of 0.013, works out to about 0.00325. Total warming of the Earth by the greenhouse effect is widely accepted as about 33 degrees Centigrade, raising average temperature to 59 degrees Fahrenheit. So the contribution of anthropogenic carbon dioxide is less than 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit, or under 0.1 degree Centigrade. Global warming over the last century is thought by many to be about 0.6 degrees Centigrade.

But that's only the beginning. We've had global warming for more than 10,000 years, since the end of the last Ice Age, and there is evidence temperatures were actually somewhat warmer 9,000 years ago and again 4,500 to 8,000 years ago than they are today[7]. Whatever caused that, it was not human activity. It was not all those power plants and factories and SUVs being operated by Stone Age cavemen while chipping arrowheads out of bits of flint.

Whatever the cause was, it melted the glaciers that in North America once extended south to Long Island and parts of New York City[8] into virtually complete disappearance (except for a few mountain remnants). That's one big greenhouse effect! If we are still having global warming - and I suppose we could presume we are, given this 10,000 year history - it seems highly likely that it is still the overwhelmingly primary cause of continued warming, rather than our piddling 0.00325 contribution to the greenhouse effect.

Yet even that trend-continuation today needs to be proved. Evidence is that the Medieval Warm Period centered on the 1200s was somewhat warmer than we are now[9], and the climate was clearly colder in the Little Ice Age in the 1600s than it is now[10]. So we are within the range of normal up-and-down fluctuations without human greenhouse contributions that could be significant, or even measurable.

The principal scientists arguing for human-caused global warming have been demonstrably disingenuous[11], and now you can see why. They have proved they should not be trusted.

The idea that we should be spending hundreds of billions of dollars and hamstringing the economy of the entire world to reduce carbon dioxide emissions is beyond ludicrous in light of the facts above; it is insane.

Furthermore, it sucks attention and resources from seeking the other sources of warming and from coping with climate change and its effects in realistic ways. The true motivation underlying the global warming movement is almost certainly ideological and political in nature, and I predict that anthropogenic Global

Warming, as currently presented, will go down as the greatest fraud of all time. It makes Ponzi and Madoff look like pikers by comparison.

Despite being thousands of miles from the action over here in Britain, I did try to warn Americans that the person knows as Barack Hussein Obama was not a fit and proper person to be considered as a candidate for the Presidency of The United States.

Nothing to do with where he was born or whether the fact that his father's British colonial nationality rendered him inelegible, not with his alleged honosexuality, cocaine addiction or work experience as a male prostitute you must understand. No, I was simply aware (more aware in my position than any American citizen could be) of who was backing him. I'm not going to name them, I have a family, but the people behind Obama, the people who bankrolled his drive for the highest office were some of the most ruthless, vicious corporate pirates ever. These people stop at nothing to get what they want. And what they want is complete control of everything.

Obama's entire Presidency has been leading up to the moment last week when he crowned himself the first God - King  of Obamaland.

When James Madison first proposed the balance of power concept for the newly created Federal government with three equal branches of government – each independent of the other with clearly defined responsibilities, he may not have anticipated, despite its enshrinement in the Constitution, how easily that balance of power could be so shrewdly subverted.

While President Obama’s recently announced Executive Order makes sweeping changes to the country’s immigration system without Congress, the emerging legal question is whether the President has overstepped his Executive authority and is ultimately usurping constitutional authority in exceeding existing immigration law which requires that those who arrive in this country illegally be deported. While many of us may not like aspects of that law, it is, nevertheless, the law.

In July, 2014, well-known liberal constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley testified before the House Rules Committee that:

 “The President’s pledge to effectively govern alone is alarming, and what is most alarming is his ability to fulfill that pledge. When a president can govern alone, he can become a government unto himself, which is precisely the danger the framers sought to avoid . .”

And since the President announced his immigration Executive Order (EO) on November 20th, Turley added:
“What the President is suggesting is tearing at the very fabric of the constitution. We have a separation of powers that gives us balance and that doesn’t protect the branches. It’s not there to protect the executive branch or the legislative branch, it’s there to protect liberty. It’s there to keep any branch from assuming so much control that they become a threat to liberty.”

 “What the Democrats are creating is something very very dangerous. They’re creating a president who can go at it alone and to go at it alone is something that is a very danger that the framers sought to avoid in our constitution.”

 “What I’m hearing certainly causes great concern that he will again violate the separation of powers,” Turley said. “No president can take on the power of all three branches and that’s what he seems to be doing. He certainly seems to be taking on legislative authority. He isn’t being particularly coy about this, you know he says ‘this is what I wanted to get out of legislation and I’m going to do it on my own’ and that does become a government of one.”

In 2011, Turley represented a bipartisan group of 10 House members who challenged Obama’s constitutional authority to prosecute the war in Libya without congressional approval. Currently, Turley is representing the US House of Representatives in their lawsuit challenging the President’s “unconstitutional and unlawful actions” regarding his “unilateral implementation” of the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare.

In use by every president since George Washington, Presidential EO’s, originally informal housekeeping directives to Federal officials and agencies, have grown in substance with the ‘full force of law’ as if Congress had acted. EO’s are temporary until the next Executive acts and are subject to judicial review (although courts are reluctant to intervene) while Congress frequently looks the other way. Today, EO’s provide a perfect foil in which to change existing law without encountering significant media or public scrutiny and avoid pesky Congressional oversight.

In addition, it is now apparent that an EO may not be necessary for a scoundrel President to alter the specific language of an established law when, for example, a bill’s original intent is not sufficient to address new circumstances or an essential concept that was mistakenly omitted or simply because the Executive can do whatever the Executive wants. As Madison and the Founders intended, under the US Constitution, the Congress makes the laws and the President is charged with implementation.

 While Presidential power is derived from the Constitution’s implied authority contained in the broadly-interpreted ‘executive power shall be vested in the President’ directive (Article I, section 1, clause 1) as well as Presidential responsibility to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed” (Article II, section 3, clause 5), there is no legal mandate that allows the Congress or President to fudge their Constitutional lines of responsibility, regardless of what political differences may exist.

It is against this backdrop that the President risks being accused of an overreach of ‘executive power’ that inevitably raises essential constitutional concerns. The question arises that by deferring enforcement action while establishing a newly created special status for a group of citizens, the President is, in effect, violating the immigration law as enacted by Congress and that the President has gone beyond prosecutorial discretion and into the area of legislating.

Sweden's shaky politically correct consensus ruling coalition could be the first major victory as the hard line socialists of the Left Party find common cause with the extreme right Sweden Democrats to protect Swedish business (and Swedish jobs) from the suffocating embrace of American corporatism:

The leader of Sweden's Left Party Jonas Sjöstedt, unleashed an attack on the government of Prime Minister Stefan Löfven in an interview with Sweden's Expressen newspaper. The wording is a sign that the last-minute deal struck last month with Sweden's right-wing alliance, while it prevented an emergency election, is causing strains with the the Social Democrats' traditional left-wing allies.

In his attack, Sjöstedt issued a stark warning that if the red-green coalition failed to stick to a deal struck last year to limit the extent to which private companies can profit from providing state services, it would no longer be able to count on his party's support.

"If they betray us on the profit agreement, they can forget about negotiating a budget with us,” he said in the interview. "I don't think I can be any clearer than that.”

He criticised the negotiating stance Sweden had taken in December's climate change talks in Paris.

"The government is a huge disappointment in terms of its work for the climate, the goals it has for climate change, and how it acts in the European Union," he said, before laying into its support for the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with the US.

"The government has chickened out," he said of the deal. "You should say 'no' to an agreement which means that companies can sue countries."

(Under the terms of TTIP, revealed only in leaked documents as the deal has been negotiated between US and EU bureaucrats in conditions of total secrecy - 'nuff said - the profit deal Sjöstedt was eager to protect would be one of the first targets for American corporate lawyers.)

Former Microsoft CEO and mega mogul Bill Gates has long utilized his vast fortune to push genetically modified organisms (GMOs) through his Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, but Gates’ efforts have been met with sharp criticism from millions of grassroots activists both home and abroad.
The debate around GMOs has become increasingly one-sided in recent years, with activists spreading the word about the health dangers of genetically modified foods as well as the environmental risks (see here and here) of the lab-created crops via social media.
Pro-GMO corporations have adjusted, attempting to fight back with their own PR campaigns (including this one where Monsanto offered money “mommy bloggers” to attend a presentation).
Now, in an effort to “depolarize” the GMO debate, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is making a multi-million dollar donation to one of America’s most prominent universities.

Being a former computer professional I have little time for Bill Gates, the world's richest (but not most competent) computer amateur, the man who made ' Not fit for purpose" acceptable quality to put into the market.

Gates is not the genius his fanboys present him as however, does anyone really believe it is just a coincidence that a computer company founded by a university drop out with no professional experience and no actual software product to offer but was the son of a CIA director*, was chosen to supply the operating system for PCs marketed by the US Government's preferred supplier of computer systems?
(Did you know that MS - DOS was not developed by Microsoft, but Gates' company, having already been awarded the contract, was allowed to 'buy in' a complete operating system from a former rival bidder - and thus we were stuck with the abysmal MS DOS rather than a much superior system from Digital research, DR - DOS.

And does anybody believe that an overpriced product with as fundamentally flawed design and the IBM / Intel motherboard architecture then became the de facto standard for personal computing in the face of opposition from many cheaper and far superior products (including a couple of British offerings, the Acorn / BBC and the Apricot range,) without a big leg up from a very powerful *non-commercial-organisation with unlimited funds at its disposal. (Is Little Nicky referring to the US Government? You might well ask. I couldn't possibly comment.
