Ukraine's Military Commander Admits Counter - offensive Has Failed And The Battlefield Position Is Stalemate

Since Russian troops crossed the border into Ukraine, back in February 2022, those of us who questioed the Russia bad, Ukraine goood narrative have been targeted by torrents of abuse hurled by pseudo - patriots and armchair soldiers, and called a 'Kremlin stooges', Russian agents', 'Putin supporters', and enemies of freedom. When anybody suggested that Russia's aim was not to conquer the whole of Ukraine and from there wage war on the rest on continental Europe, but simply to secure the saftety of ethnic Russians in Ukraine who, since a coup d'etat engineered by USA and NATO in 2014 had been subjected to a campaign of ethnic cleansing by the Kiev government. When anybody pointed out the inevitable result of the US enabling the Kiev regime to prolong the war by providinbg weapons, ammunition and financial supoport would be mass death and destruction of Ukrainians, and growing anti-American sentiment among nations of the global; south who see the US as a bully, using its financial power to manipulate the internal politics of sovereign nations and effect regime change when challenged.  And if we look at the regional and local wars of the 21st century it is hard to find one in which the USA has not had a hand."

The truth about Ukraine, despite the daily reports in western mainstream media that 'brave little Ukraine's army was giving the Russian thugs a good thrashing, it was always obvious to those of us who looked a little beeper that the headlines that Russia's military machine was living up to its reputation for brutality on the battlefield and was crushing Ukraine.

The truth of the situation was confirmed this week  whenUkraine's top military commander, Gen. Valery Zaluzhny, admitted the nuch hyped counter offensive begun in June, has failed miserably, there has been no breakthrough and the battlefield situation is now a stalemate

His comments were made in an interview with The Economist and were quickly picked up by other other major US, UK and Europrean publications, notably left leaning New York Times, which until recently had been rabidly pro Ukraine, now reporting "His comments marked the first time a top Ukrainian commander said the fighting had reached an impasse...".

The NYT report continued by describing Zaluzhny's words as " the most candid assessment so far by a leading Ukrainian official of the military’s stalled counteroffensive."

Gen. Zaluzhny asserted in the interview: "Just like in the First World War we have reached the level of technology that puts us into a stalemate." He then emphasized: "There will most likely be no deep and beautiful breakthrough."

Indeed for the past some six months the front lines have barely changed though observers near the front line say that Russia now occupies slightly more territory inside Ukraines borders than it did before the counter offensive was launched. This is in spite of $£€billions worth of the lstest high - tech weaponry having been poured into Ukraine by the USA and NATO. The top Ukrainian commander explained Kiev's failure thus

The general also said he underestimated Russia’s willingness to sacrifice troops in order to prevent a breakthrough and prolong the war. "That was my mistake," he said. "Russia has lost at least 150,000 dead. In any other country such casualties would have stopped the war." His accounting of Russia’s casualties could not be independently verified.

In spite of many hysterically worded reports in UK mainstream media that tried to sell the lie that the counter offtensive had been a huge suggess and the Russians were in full retreat, many analysts have considered that it may not have been President Putin's intention to see his forces attempt to push further into Ukraine, given that a chief war aim of his is to solidify hold over the Donbas and four 'annexed territories'. It appears the Russian army is simply staying put, content to have a firm grip over most the of east and much of the south.

The result then is that mainstream media and deep state propaganda agencies on both sides of the Atlantic, which had been claiming that Putin was a madman on a par with Hitler whose ambition was to recreate The Soviet Union, have ended up looking even less credible and more foolish than they did after COVID failed to kill the millions of us unvaccinated holdouts they predicted it would.

Washington Leaks Show Ukraine Has Lost The War (And Expose The Dishonesty Of Western Governments And Media)
The leaked U.S. intelligence documents recently published in western mainstream media have exposed the extent to which pro - war propaganda suggesting Ukraine was winning the war is now seen to be a US & NATO led effort to weaken Russia and effect regime change. Russia Will Never Recover From War In Ukraine Claim Zelensky Fan Club As Russia Continues to Crush Ukrainian War Effort
An inside page headline in yesterday's (1 April 2023) Daily Telegraph claims 'Russia will never recover from this devastating collapse,' though the article below it does not quite make clear exactly what collapse the writer is talking about. The Telegraph has been unashamedly pro Ukraine, Zelensky worshipping and Russophobic in its coverage since day one of the war and the article was not an April Fool joke

Zelensky Admits Ukraine Already Ran Out Of Ammo
The US-led West’s Mainstream Media (MSM) began reporting more accurately on the military-strategic dynamics of the NATO-Russian proxy war in Ukraine since the start of the year, but the true test of their comparatively improved integrity will be whether they raise awareness about Zelensky’s latest damning admission. In an interview with Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun, he candidly told his interlocutors that “We do not have ammunition. For us the situation in the East is not good.”

Dollar Dominance Will Be The Biggest Casualty Of War In Ukraine
While the mainstream news cycle focuses on Ukraine and speculation about when the strategically significant city of Bakhmut, beseiged by the Russian army for months now, will actually fall, with Ukrainian defenders vowing to fight to the last man but gradually being forced into a smaller and smaller area of the city centre, in the more significant economic war Russia, China and Iran, backed by India, Saudi Arabia and many other African and South East Asian nations are pushing ahead with moved to dump the US dollar as the global reserve currency

Ukraine: Who Is Winning And Losing In The Economic War
One year ago today, to provide a legal framework for Russian military support to Donetsk and Luhansk which would take the form of a military incursion into Ukrainian territory on February 24, the Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed executive orders to recognize the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lunhansk People's Republic as independent countries

Talk of Sending Fighter Planes to Ukraine Is Madness
President Zelensky’s warmongering speech to the UK Parliament yesterday unequivocally and unashamedly made the case for starting World War 3 in order to polish the oversized ego of this little clown with the piano playing penis when he demanded that Nato-grade fighter jets to be sent to Ukraine.

Ukraine End Game: As Bakhmut Falls Real Reporting Vies With Propaganda In Western Media

Reprieve For Free Speech - UK Online Safety Bill Sent Back To Committee
It s gratifying for supporters of free speech that the UK Government's Online Safety Bill, which had been described as a charter for censors, has been ripped apart and will have to be redrafted entirely apart from the title.
When the House of Commons the Speaker, savages a Bill it must be bad, so from the moment Lindsey Hoyle told MPs that the bill was 'all over the shop' (a good old northern phrase from a northern politician,), and that at least half its clauses "would be getting the treatment," in particular that measure which aimed to force Social Media platforms to remove content which was "legal but harmful," ...

France Moves to Make ‘Conspiracy Theories’ Illegal by Government Decree
Political elites and super-bureaucrats must be very worried. New start up political parties, dismissed as populist byt in reality listening to the concerns of voters are making inroads into the political status quo. New media investigative journalists and op-ed writers are challenging the official propaganda (and gaining an ever bigger audience). It’s becoming harder to control consensus reality.
