Swedish news organisation Nya Dagbladet has published what it claims to be leaked top secret US plans to use the war in Ukraine and an induced energy crisis to destroy european economies.
The report claims the RAND Corporation a defence and foreign policy think tank founded by military aircraft maker Douglas to prvoide the US government with research and analysis services and is fubded to the tune of $350
million annually by US taxpayers, and has the official aim of improving policies and decision-making, is the source of its evidence. RAND Corporation is primarily connected to the United
States Department of Defense and is infamous for having been
influential in the development of military and other strategies during
the Cold War.
The allegedly leaked document signed RAND and headed “Weakening Germany, strengthening the U.S.”, suggests that there is
an “urgent need” for an influx of resources from outside to maintain the
overall American economy, but “especially the banking system”.
“Only
European countries bound by EU and NATO commitments can provide us with
these without significant military and political costs for us.”
According
to Nya Dagbladet, the RAND cites the main obstacle to this ambition as the growing independence
of Germany. Among other things, it points out that Brexit has given
Germany greater independence and m ade it more difficult for the United
States to influence the decisions of European governments. This is bollocks but given the arrogance of US government and corporate bosses it is plausible they would write such nonsense.
A key
objective of the strategy outlined in the document is to drive a wedge between Germany and Russia, thus disrupting an economic partnership that could seariously threaten to derail US ambitions to become a global hegemon. A Germany - Russia partnership, with France as a third partner, is seen as the greatest economic and political threat to the
United States.
”If implemented, this scenario will eventually
turn Europe into not only an economic, but also a political competitor
to the United States.”, it declares.
Though we should treat any such claimed leaks with extreme scepticism this pat of the document makes sense.
The USA and UK are traditional allies and while the UK was a member of the European Union it could be relied on to block any expansion of Russian influence in Brussels. Once the UK was out, Germany and France could dominate the other EU member states as they had always tried to do. The other large population EU members, Italy, Spain and Poland are economic basket cases and could easily be coerced through economic pressure. In order to crush the potential political threat of a working partnership involving German and French technical and industrial strength allied to Russia's vast energy and mineral resources and agricultural abundance, a strategic plan, primarily focused on destroying the German economy, is presented.
“Stopping
Russian deliveries could create a systematic crisis that would be
devastating for the German economy and indirectly for the European Union
as a whole”, it states, adding that the key is to draw the European countries into war.
While we still recommend scepticism, in the light of current events in Ukraine and the European Union the document's alleged content seems all to plausible.

CIA Spearheads US Bid To Control Cyberspace, We Can All Help The Resistance For several years Western media sources have been terying to top each other's efforts to publish the most ludicrously hyperbolic articles about so-called Russian hackers while complaining about the alleged damage these hackers, of whose alleged activities no evidence is offered, have inflicted upon the American democracy The Washington Post would feature a propaganda article about Russia’s push towards the control of cyberspace. The New York Times would try to top it, while the LA Times would try to outdo both. What else should one expect from media sources owned by media corporations controlled by Wall Street hedge funds and enjoying a far too cosy relationship with US Government security agencies, if various reports across the net are to be trusted ... Why Is The Scandal Of The Awan Brothers Being Ignored? You have probably never heard of the Awan brothers, a couple of dodgy foreigners with very strong links to the US Democrat National Committee. Given the noise the Democrats have been making about collaboration with non Americans during the 2016 campaign, it is surprising that neither Trump nor any of his supporters have responded to the fact that they have been handed a baseball bat with nails through the end, with which to beat his leading detractors.
Has Google Become A Major Threat To Democracy In America? About 10 years ago, Tim Wu, the Columbia Law professor who coined the term network neutrality, made this prescient comment: "To love Google, you have to be a little bit of a monarchist, you have to have faith in the way people traditionally felt about the king." Wu was right. And now, Google has established a pattern of lobbying and threatening to acquire power. It has reached a dangerous point common to many monarchs: The moment where it no longer wants to allow dissent.
America Takes A Step Closer To Becoming A Cashless Society If you order a beer at a Flatstick pub in Seattle, Washington, don’t try to pay with $10 bill — you’ll walk away thirsty. It’s not that the US state of Washington has started charging Scandinavian prices for booze, but that Flatstick, a hot new mini-chain in the Pacific Northwest, does not … Continue reading
G77 Nations vow to destroy America’s New World Order
By leading the G7, G8 and G20 economic groups for the past few decades the US government has managed to exploit its status as holder of the global reserve currency until it appeared on the brink og global economic hegemony. The Americans overplayed their hand however, became too blatant in their bullying of smaller nations and helping corporate interests override national laws. Now the world is closing ranks against the USA. Can't say we're sorry.
After years of blythely ignoring years of economic stagnation, social deterioration, and an unemployment rate which stubbornly refuses to fall below double-digits for countries like Greece, Spain and Italy, Europe appears to have finally been shocked into recognising the reality of its situation by Brexit and the Trump election in the USA. Bureaucrats have responded … Continue reading
Has Putin Has Pushed Europe Into Economic Depression, Hyperrinflation and Currency Collapse? Though it was entirely predictable and indeed had been expected for some time, the news over the weekend that the Nord Stream 1 pipeline which feeds gas from Russia to northern Europe via The Baltic route had been shut down completely by The Kremlin in retaliation for the continued financial and military support given by NATO and EU member states to Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. The European Commission, governing body of the EU, immediately put the community on something close to a war footing, ... Continue reading >>>
Do We Have A Winter Of Civil Disobedience Ahead? As many people in Britain slap on the apres sun gloop in the wake of what passes for a heatwave in these cool cloudy climes, our inept politicians caught with their pants down by unusual weather as usual have heard that that winter is coming and are making plans for a coldwave.
We are in the grip of an energy crisis at the height of summer. Last week, it was reported that the UK government is laying down plans for a “reasonable worst-case scenario” including blackouts for industry and even households. And this is as energy prices spiral out of control to new records every day.
Is Russia Selling Its Oil To The World Through An Obscure Egyptian Port? As this blog predicted when NATO and EU member states shot themselves in the foot by reacting to Russia's invasion of Ukraine with sanctions that prevented Russia from selling oil, gas and vital raw materials to the countries that needed them most, the NATO and EU member states, the Russians have had no problems finding alternative customers for their gas and oil and no problem getting oil into the world's commodity markets through the back door.
Are US Supplied Long Range Missiles Really Winning The War For Ukraine? Since very soon after the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine western powers, USA, UK, EU and NATO have been doing everything possible to prolong and escalate the war. The latest move is to provide the Ukrainian military with long range HIMARS missile. Mainstream media are claiming this has tilted the balance in Ukraine's favour. But for what? To prolong the slaughter? ...
As the war in Ukraine grinds on and Russia steps up its economic war against the west and in particular The European Union, claims made recently by the idiotically 'woke' leaders of Europe's main economic and military powers that the West has a once-in-a–generation chance to severely weaken Russia’s capabilities, both militarily and geopolitically, look increasingly hollow. Putin's critics have cited 'Western unity' as one of the main reasons why Russia will be economically destroyed and politically humiliated when the Ukraine's military finally claim victory.
European Union Is Again Close To A Meltdown As Eurozone Economy Collapses Once more we return to the political instability and economic fragility of the European Union as the conflict in Ukraine combined with loonytoons Climate Change mitigation policies, the failure of 'sustainables' to meet ever increasing demand for electricity, fod shortages and rampant price inflation put economic and social pressure on governments of member states ...

We The Good Guys Versus They The Bad Guys Reporting Does Not Make Sense For The Ukraine Crisis Mainstream media reporting of the conflict in Ukraine has disappointed. Perhaps I was naive to suppose that lessons might have been learned from the hits their print sales and online traffic rates took as a result of their handling the COVID pandemic But instead of focusing on the most obviously newsworthy aspect of the build up to and escalation of the war, Russia’s view of NATO expansion into Ukraine and even further to Georgia and Kazakhstan, news reports have simply demonised Russia and portrayed Ukraine as the good guys.
Boris and Biden Can't Blame Ukraine War For Energy Crisis With typical arrogance and condescension towards the people who elected them Boris Johnson, Joe Biden and their respectiive presstitutes are trying to spin the energy crisis Europe and North America are currently facing as somehow being linked to the conflict in Ukraine and therfore blame is being attactched to Russia and Vladimir Putin. Do they really think we are stupid enough to believe such unmitigated bollocks? ...
