Fuel prices for vehicles, homes and business premises in Europe are ballooning, globalist governments have slapped punitive taxes on employing staff, crime is the only activity in the private sector that is growing and mass immigration has driven wages down and prices up. All that (and more,) combines to mean that it no longer pays for a farmer in Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium to tend to crops and to harvest existing crops or for a business to produce and sell goods.
In the UK it is hardly worth moving goods from the factory or farm to the point of sale, every litre of fuel pumped at the station 55 pence is tax plus a further 28pence Value Added Tax goes to the government to be wasted on benefits for legal but non contributing or illegal immigrants, Net Zero lunacy, funding Ukraine's futile war (dubbed by some 'National Suicide',) with Russia and other far left sacred cows.
The case is that this Labour government, and Labour has always claimed to be the party of thw working classes, has no lost sight of what really matters to the normal voter but instead has lost touch with reality.
But this epidemic of lunacy is not confined to the UK. We have reported in the past few weeks on riots and civil unrest in France and elsewhere as a protest movement spread from schools and universities into the streets and squares of the cities, where violence and looting closed businesses and brought life to a standstill.
This week tens of thousands of young Gen Z people have taken to the streets in France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Albania. In doing so, they have joined what has been dubbed the Generation Z revolution (those born between 1997 and 2012), which over the past two years helped bring down the government of Bangladesh, force the resignation of Nepal’s prime minister and dissolve Madagascar’s government.
These riots may have been spontaneous expressions of disgust at the contempt which the political class have shown for the people they govern, but after a month of increasing violence the movement has acquired a more sinister aspect. Well informed commentators say the extreme left in France, Italy, Germany and Spain are organising civil disorder with the aim of bringing down governments and disrupting the rule of law. Europe faces a fresh wave of unrest this weekend as protests, looting and clashes grip France, Italy and beyond. Macron faces mounting pressure amid calls for curfews, while anger over rising costs, poor services and political paralysis fuels street discontent as governments, out of ideas, turn to authoritarian measures as they bid to regain control.
If there is no change before the UK Budget is announced then after the Bond Markets have destroyed the French economy France the fun starts with the United Kingdom with yields (the real interest rate paid on governments' borrowings, already creeping steadily upwards.
The Labour government has no clue and, unsurprisingly as they are all career politicians and nobody among them has ever had a real job, let alone run a business, it seems more and more likely they will panic in the face of an economic meltdown after the budget and call a snap election in early 2027 which could deliver a nightmare coalition of the extremes SNP, Greens, Liberals and Labour to stop Tories linked with Reform taking power. And then the lid will come off the pressure cooker that the working class areas of British cities have become.

Young people have been taking to the streets across Europe, including in Spain, France and Portugal, to protest over their unhappiness at the state of schools and the wider cost of living crisis. In France, high school pupils have clashed with police in often violent protests over long hours, missing teachers, dilapidated classrooms and an opaque university admissions system. Pupils routinely miss months of teaching due to unfilled staff absences. In a wave of activism, youth in France, Belgium, Ireland, and Spain are taking to the streets to address critical challenges affecting their lives. Protesters highlight issues such as the failing education system in France, the financial hurdles in Irish higher education, and the steep rental prices pushing Spaniards into dependency. These movements underscore deep-seated generational anxieties, pointing to a widespread sentiment of uncertainty that resonates throughout Europe.

Germany is Now A “Total Dictatorship” Says Dutch Journalist
A Dutch journalist has claimed that Germany is now a “total dictatorship”. This may seem like a case of the pot calling the kettle black given the Dutch government's plan to evict up to 3000 farmer from their land and return those acreages 'to nature' in a bid to lead the way among EU member states, to enforce total compliance with the latest loonytoons EU climate policy which requires EU members to reduce that dangerous pollutant nitrogen, which accounts for 78% of the air we breathe ...

Common Sense Prevails: Germany Is Dismantling Wind Turbines To Make Room For Coal Mining
We have learned vial a piece in OilPrice.com that turbines at a wind farm in western Germany are being dismantled to allow for the expansion of open cast coal mining operations at an adjacent site. The propsal to increase output at the Garzweiler open-pit lignite coal mine has been described as a “paradoxical” situation given that in recent years the German government has been pushing ahead with the closure of coal and nuclear generating plant to appease its nutty but powerful Green party ... The absence of England from the meeting of first ministers of the IK's member nations, convened in Cardiff to agree the break-up of the Union is a mystery nobody involved is in a hurry to explain. The country with by far the biggest economy in the UK and a population several times greater than the other three put together was left out of the talks between the three nonetities who preen and posture as if their staus as first ministers of three non-countries, John Swinney of the SNP, Plaid Cymru’s Rhun ap Iorwerth and Michelle O’Neill of Sinn Féin met to decide the future of the Union..
In typically pompous fashion Swinney called the meeting a “significant and pivotal moment for the United Kingdom”, adding: “The people of Scotland, Wales and Ireland have a right to self-determination. They are entitled to decide on their own future.”
But not the English, it seems. The late Gerry Fitt, leader of the nationalist SDLP in Northern Ireland, put it this way: “Their slogan is Brits out – but leave your wallet on the mantelpiece.”
And Swinney's self important babble is further undermined when we look at the results of huge numbers of illegal immigrants being planted in Northern Ireland's small, close knit communities.
How the three other parts of the UK would survive when the flow of money from English taxpayer support is another question nobody from the Scottish, Welsh or Ulster delegation wishes to answer. Payments under the Barnett Formula, which allocates public funds to the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish administrations, amounted to £45bn, £20bn and £18bn respectively last year. As these unruly provinces were all rabidly anti Brexit perhaps they all think that joining the EU would save their dysfunctional economies. Unfortunately the EU has more basket case economies than it can afford already.
Were the SNP not fully committed to Net Zero, Scotland would at least have some revenue from the oil in its territorial waters, but Wales and Ireland could not cobble together a viable economy between them. Is it any wonder that England is being riven by civil unrest as the people's rage spills into the streets?
