First There Was A Ceasefire Then There Was No Ceasefire Then There Was*

We started the news day here in Britain with an announcement from Donald Trump that Ukraine and Russia had agreed to an immediate "energy ceasefire", without providing details of its terms - here's what we know

At the time it was reported that Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky indicated he would support the ceasefire, adding "it is important that Russia support it as well"; there was no immediate comment from Russia.

But Zelensky has since denied any knowledge of the deal and accused Russia of striking energy facilities after Trump claimed a deal had been done. The Russian attack hit a major facility with glide bombs and drones on a power plant near Ukraine's second city, Kharkiv  in the country’s second city of Kharkiv, despite the surprise truce announced earlier in the day.

Meanwhile Yemen's Houthi rebels launched a fresh attack on Saudi Arabia;s Riyadh airport on Sunday, the second attack in two days after hitting the airport o Saturday killing, 13 and wounding more than 300 people at the hub.

An “unidentified projectile” struck Terminal 4 of the King Khalid International Airport, causing a fire, the ‌Saudi-led official government of  Yemen ( said, adding that air defences had also downed a cruise missile nearby.

Footage from inside the airport showed a scene of chaos, with alarms sounding as people hurried to escape. Debris was littered across the floor and a large smoke plume billowed from the roof of the building.

Saudi authorities confirmed that Sunday’s attack “resulted in injuries”, but did not specify how many.

And on the other side of the Arab peninsula the Iranian Republican Guard (IRGC,) attacked another tanker in the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, which brings the total number to at least two or possibly as many as three suffering damage in the last 24 hours, chiefly from sea mines.

A slew of videos showing tankers striking mines have emerged on social media over the weekend, at a moment attacks on international vessels by Iranian forces are surging to wartime highs..

ANYONE ELSE GET THE FEELING WE ARE IN FOR A ROUGH FEW DAYS?

Chaos Erupts In Brussels As Rubber Bullets Fired At Farmers Protesting Outside EU Parliament
Belgian police used Rubber bullets and water cannons against hundreds of farmers who had travelled from around western Europe to protest outside the EU Headquarters in the city on Thursday. The farmers threw eggs, set off fireworks, and set fire to staw bales and rubbish fires near the building while demanding that European leaders stop punishing them with more taxes, rising costs and the loonytoons 'green' policies imposed to push the continent towards the ruling bureaucrats impossible and irrational 'net zero' targets

Protest Becomes Open Rebellion In Europe As Farmers Uprising Against 'Green' Policies Spreads To Other Industries.
As this blog has been reporting since the late summer of 2022, farmers across many european Union member states including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, Romania, have been gradually esclating a campaign of protest against the globalist policies beimg imposed by the EU and implemented by far left governments.

Hottest Ever UK January Day - In One Small Village
Today’s high is not due to ‘climate change’ although Warmageddonists and climate alarmists have been quick to claim it is, but is a result of a rare phenomenon known as the Fohn (or Foehn) effect (literally ‘the hairdryer effect’) that sees isolated spots near mountains hit with a narrow blast of hot air.

The Never-Ending War On Cash
In the last few decades the global elites have been pushing to shift financial activity from cash and paper cheques towards a cashless world. Physical currency is under constant attack and the majority of the world’s money supply exists in intangible electronic form. Governments and financial institutions are actively promoting a cashless society, raising concerns about individual financial freedom

New Poll Of Super - Rich Shows The Elite Hate Us Ordinary Folk
... the real enemy, is not a political party but a group that stands outside the political arena to exert its malign influence. A shocking poll exposes the utter contempt in which the elite holds the general public, with more than three quarters wanting to ration food and energy to combat ‘climate change’ and a majority wanting air travel for holidays banned.

Net Zero Is Dying Says The Manhattan Contrairian - But Is It Taking Western Civilisation With It?
We Boggart Bloggers have always been sceptical of the Climate Change scam. And as most of our readers will be aware, the scam had to be rebranded as 'Climate Change' because after a brief (and statistically insignificant,) warming trend in the 1980s and 90 the apparent warming stopped until 2016 when there was a brief blip because of an El Nino event on the Pacific region before global mean temperatures started flatlining again ...

Impartiality? The BBC’s Blind Spot
The year has got off to a poor start for the BBC Identity Hub, led by Jon Buckley. Despite their clear significance, it decided against including several stories in its coverage. This is a specialist team ostensibly covering issues around gender identity, remember. First, there was the Women’s Rights Network report on trans-identified male police officers’ rights to search women’s orifices, which was so solid it led to an apparent shift in policy ...

Sweden SCRAPPING Agenda 2030 goals - Peter Sweden
The new right-wing government [ in Sweden ] is dismantling the goals outlined by the UN. They have scrapped renewable energy plans and have been pushing for more nuclear power. In the new year, Sweden REMOVED climate taxes on fuel, reducing diesel prices by over 4 SEK per litre. After the government removed climate taxes, prices reached almost as low as 17 SEK per litre.

War On Cash To Escalate In 2024
Early last week Boggart Blog learned Globalists within the US Government and the banking and finance industry have announced a plan to launch a Digital Fiat Currency that would enable seamless transfers of funds between banks and tax jurisdictions as a major step towards banning cash. Bankers and politicians claim this is essential to protect business and private funds against the actions of hostile nations and to eliminate money laundering by organised crime networks ... Furious French Farmers Stage Shitfest Protest In Toulouse
Inspired perhaps by the protests of farming communities in Germany and Netherlands, angry French farmers gathered in the historic city of Toulouse, South - west France this week and dumped piles of farmyard manure on the steps of City Hall and in the streets and squares in fron of other public buildings. Such shitfest protests are a favourite tactic of French farmers when they want to let their government know its policies stink ...

Thousands Of Tractors Blocks Berlin Traffic Over Plan To End Diesel Subsidy
Thousands of German truck drivers, farmers, and agricultural workers parked in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin yesterday as another massive protest over the government's 'green' plans to end tax breaks on diesel fuel and subsidies to farmers prevented from getting the best out of their land by loonytoons EU 'rewilding' policies.

German Farmers target nation's vice chancellor in subsidies protest
German farmers angered by cost-saving plans impacting the country's agricultural sector blocked the EU state’s vice chancellor from disembarking a ferry on Thursday, in a protest that was criticized by both government and opposition figures. The farmer's ager was triggered by financial cutbacks imposed by EU policy on member state’s agricultural industries have.

Destroying The Planet To Save It
In the stampede towards achieving 'Net Zero' perhaps a reality check is long overdue for the delusional Green Blob and the virtue signalling politicians. In order to save the planet from a largely imaginary threat based on an ideology behind which there is very little scientific and absolutely zero empirical evidence the solutions proposed by the Green Blob, apart from being so expensive they would destroy every functioning national economy on the planet, are going to be more damaging to the planet than continuing to burn coal and gas ...

NATO Considers Stricter Sanctions As Russia Sidesteps Oil Price Cap
The European Union is considering toughening up the sanctions on evaders of the price cap on Russian oil, almost none of which now trades below the ceiling of $60 per barrel. The price cap mechanism set by the G7 and the EU says that Russian crude shipments to third countries can use Western insurance and financing if cargoes are sold at or below the $60-a-barrel ceiling ...

Germany Burns Net Zero Pledges And Fires Up Coal Generating Plants Ahead Of Winter Peak Electricity Season
On Wednesday this week Germany's coalition government approved putting coal power plants back online until the end of March 2024 to ensure energy security when natural gas supplies cannot meet demand. Though Germany has for at least a decade vied with Britain to claim leadership of Europe's ill - advised push for net zero, the Berlin government has been forced into this move ...

Even The Fully Ordained Members Of The Branch Covidian Cult Are Starting To See The Light
Regular readers of this blog and anyone else who has more active brain cells than testicles or tits as the case may be will have known beyond reasonable doubt that the Covid-19 killer virus narrative and its sequel the vaccine that saved the world but did not stop the spread of the kilers virus (that didn't actually kill) was a fake since before the pandemic was declared ...

Will Artificial Intelligence Lead A Race Of Humandroids To A Golden Age Or Plunge Surviving Humans Into Dystopia
Around 60% of us ordinary punters in Europe, North Americans and the few other liberal democracies scattered around the world believe that AI poses a serious threat to humanity’s future, an impressive figure given the torrent of propaganda that flows past us each day aimed as persuading us to believe that Artificial Intelligence will usher in a golden age for humanity and that transhumanism, the merging of man and machine is the future for humanity ...

Government To cash In Emissions Credits To Keep Net Zero On Track While Relaxing Targets.
While many people welcomed the relaxations to Government 'Net Zero' policy announced by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, others pointed out that it would be illegal to abandon commitments to reducing carbon emissions as they are enshrined in law The Green Blob gleefully seized on this and attempted to undermine Sunak's small step towards common sense by claiming his initiative was merely a political ploy

Climate Scare Profiteer Bill Gates Makes Sudden U-Turn On Climate Doom Narrative
Microsoft co-founder, philanthropist, and climate alarmist Bill Gates has backtracked on 'climate doom' prophecies. The writing is on the wall for the political and financial elites, who have long championed imminent climate doom, realizing that the public sees through the charades.

"Go To Hell": Brave EU Politician Tells Globalist Politicians And Billionaire Psycopaths
As the pushback against an elitist power grab that would end democratic government and establish an authoritarian, technocratic global government struggles to gain momentum in the face of a torrent of scaremongering propaganda, Anderson, a member of Germany's AfD party, has been a consistently vociferous opponent of Klaus Schwab’s Word Economic Forum (WEF) and its ‘Great Reset’ and agenda 2030 power grab.

Will Germany be the first to ditch its net zero commitments?
Things are not going well in Germany’s bid to reach net zero by 2045, five years earlier even than Britain’s own unrealistic target. For months, the German government has been trying to devise a way to save its heavy industry from high energy prices which are sending production fleeing to Asia. Last year, chemicals giant BASF announced that it would invest in a new £10 billion plant in China, due to the cost of energy.

If You're Afraid Of Nuclear War You're Not Supporting Ukraine Enough Is Zelensky's Latest Message
The follow up to Elon Musk's refusal to open his Starlink satellite network for the benefit of Ukrainian military leaders as they fantasise about attacking Crimea and driving out the Russian occupying force this past week showcases how completely unhinged and dangerous the Ukrainian government's desire to escalate the war has become.

Pandemic Preparedness And The Road To International Fascism
The World Health Organization's broad definition of health embraces physical, mental and social well-being. Trump Says It Out Loud - If Ukraine Wanted Peace Zelensky Would Not Sabotage Every Deal Offered

Donald Trump has said Ukraine needs a leader who can end the ongoing war with Russia
Picture: Daily Telegraph

Friday's deal between Trump and Putin wasn't only about diesel. It was also about Kyiv.

Hours after Zelensky accused Washington of using Ukraine's negotiators as a "smokescreen" for a backroom deal with Moscow, Axios reported that Trump decided to let Russia sell diesel after Zelensky ignored half a dozen US requests to stop attacking Russian oil refineries. The alleged source was a US official with direct knowledge, who did not hold back:

"Zelensky is misreading the room. By continuing to hit refineries, he is eroding the good will that he has built with Trump over the last six months."

In other words, the sanctions waiver was as much a message to Kyiv as a gift to Moscow. So how did we get to this latest geopolitical twist, what is Trump actually ggetting for lifting sanctions (spoiler: less than nine days of fuel), and why is the deal is on a collision course with the one Ukrainian policy Kyiv says it won't give up. Thus Zelensky is about to learn there is a price for trying to twist Trump's arm.

It now looks as though both Putin and Trump have had enough of The Poisonous Pixie With The Piano Playing Plonker and his insane antics.  Putin revealed his patience had run out last week when he announced Russia will weaponise winter against Kiev by knocking out its energy infrastructure and now Trump has turned on the Ukrainian leader over his constant provocations of Russia.

Reports from inside Ukraine suggest a mood swing among citizens as fraud scandals in government and unpopular policies like military conscription fail to move the country closer to a peace deal.

As he was boarding Air Force One on the way to Tennessee this morning, President Trump made his feelings clear over how he feels about Ukrainian President Zelensky.

President Trump stated that "it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president", criticizing Zelensky for bombing Russian oil refineries and accusing him of failing to end the war.

"You know what I suggest? I suggest they get a new leader who could make a deal because he could've made many deals and for some reason he never does... I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new President," Trump is quoted as saying.

One day after announcing plans to buy more than a million tonnes of diesel from Russia, Trump said the Ukrainian strikes were driving up global fuel prices and creating “problems for the world”.

“He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers with diesel fuel because Russia supplies a large portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world. And we told them ‘Do whatever you want, but don’t hit the diesel fuel, because this is a big problem, a big shortage’.”

“And what does he do? He goes and hits the diesel fuel.”

So WTF is going on with the crazy Ukronazis? Do they really want peace or do they just want the rest of the world to keep providing cash, weapons and ammunition so that they can commit national suicide by keeping on killing Russians?
Well as this blog has reported many times Zelensky and his corrupt cronyarchy have sabotaged every peace initiative in the past four years, which speaks for itself ...

comment by cynic, lifted from Moon of Alabama

From the point of view of us spectators  we look at this war in terms of territory won / lost, whose weapons are superior and who can cause the most impressive damage to the other side. To many in the third world, Russia is our champion and we want them to put west and NATO in it’s place.

From the POV of the Russian leadership they are facing a foe with 7 times the population and 20 times the economic might. The Russians may have a geographic advantage and a nuclear arsenal to fall back on but from the Russians perspective have only just recovered from a century of civil war, communist tyranny, 2 world wars, a cold war and a decade long economic depression. In just the last world war they lost 27 million souls and a country that was absolutely devastated.I’m sure the Russians will fight WW3 if they have to and they may not win but they’ll make sure no one else does either

I suspect they are tired of fighting wars, mourning losses and rebuilding their country. It costs nothing to talk. If they can cleave away the USA from supporting a NATO war with Russia by offering them partnerships on energy deals to the EU or by selling them assets stranded by sanctions good for them. Talk doesn’t cost lives and stranded assets don’t benefit the investor so if they can get rid of them and raise capital regardless of what  we/they think of the buyer … good for them … they can wash their hands of it and get on to other business.

So chunk by chunk, the assets of Russia would fall into the insatiable claws of mainly US-based predators most of the worst of which happen to belong to the same cult as their mafia Oligarch equivalents in Russia and Ukraine. NATO is the US-empire. Keep buying it off till there’s no more left to sell? And what then?

This logic is very akin to that of the neoliberal capitalist ideology. As if the world is nothing more than a lousy set of corrupt “businesses” and absolutely everything in it (Oligarchs of course excepted) is no more than a disposable object branded with for-sale price tag.Praise be to the shit-filled economist-priestly class of monopoly-capitalism and the Masters their fantasy drivel serves!

“Talk” certainly does cost lives. For instance, plenty in Donbas from eight years of EU lies and US connivance in  support of the Kiev  regime and its blatantly Nazi, Oligarch-created militias.

And now Putin — a tool of the dual-passport Chabad mafia Oligarchs based in Russia, who was tasked as successor to YI suspect they are tired of fighting wars, mourning losses and rebuilding their country. And don’t forget that every one of the aforementioned toxic cult imagines itself to be a greater or lesser Oligarch, having been divinely promised 2,800 slaves … these slaves being the ordinary-(allegedly sub)human survivors of the final conflicts via which the Oligarchy intends to make its own status permanent.

And now Putin — a tool of the dual-passport Chabad mafia Oligarchs based in Russia, who was tasked as successor to Yeltsin to preserve the wealth of these Oligarchs facing competition from bigger US/NATO based Oligarchs expanding too much into their patch — is happy to sell-out Russian assets to US-based interests via his own Chabad mafia minder, to the benefit of the US Chabad mafia (including the Trump/Kushner clan) … and even effectively supply fuel to the NATO military forces that are killing real Russians in Russia, thereby weakening heavily sanctioned Russia’s position while stabbing Iran and anti-Zionist Yemen in the back.

Of course the Oligarchs will profit from that, just as from earlier transfers of warfare-related titanium etc.
How many more “it’s ever so clever” excuses are going to be made for the antics of the Putin regime?

Interesting how it all involves, on both supposedly opposing sides, one particularly megalomanic cult.
Which makes no secret of wanting most of Ukraine for itself, as the new (Israel Mk.2) Khazaria.
Yet so many analysts of the situation deliberately ignore such very real vectors of influence at the top.

‘We’re Not At War With Russia,’ Germany's Chancellor Scholz tells Warmongering French Ouanqeur Macron
Though Macron's recent posturing as a reincarnated Napoleon by calling on his fellow European leaders to send troops to fight alongside the Ukrainian military may have been nothing more than an ill - advised attempt to deflect attention from online conspiracy theories that his wife Brigitte is, or was at some time in the past, a man, the ploy, if that is what it was, has backfired.

Total Defeat Of Ukraine By Russia Is Only A Matter Of Time
Financial Times columnist and founder member of the Vobblyvoddymyr Zelensky piano playing penis fan club, Gideon Rachman has a talent for stating the obvious which he displays in a recent article on the state of play in the Ukrainian conflict 'Ukraine and its backers need a credible path to victory - archived. Is The West About To Abandon Ukraine?
n a fresh interview with Germany's national television service ARD on Saturday (2 December,) NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned viewers to prepare for for more "bad news" from Ukraine. Asked for his opinion on whether the situation will worsen for Ukrainian as winter sets in, after the much hyped summer counteroffensive turned into a catastrophic failure he responded, "Wars develop in phases.

The War In Ukraine Is Entering A Significant Phase - SitRep
With all the other troubles in the world its easy to overlook the news from Ukraine which suggests that conflict is entering a a crucial phase as the western allies find it inceasingly difficult to keep up with Kiev's demands for cash, weapons and ammo. Big Serge has a rather long situation report on Substack and it will not make happy reading for the Zelensky fan club in the west:

Game Over For Zelensky - NATO andEU Officials Urge Ukraine To Seek Peace
As this blog predicted early last month, following the catastrophic failure of Ukraine's 'counter offensive' to push Russian troops out of their country, American and European leaders who have previously been solidly behind the doomed Ukrainian war with its powerful neighbour, are rapidly going cool on their pledges of unlimited support for puppet - president Zelensky and his far - right masters.

Ukraine's Military Commander Admits Counter - offensive Has Failed And The Battlefield Position Is Stalemate
Since Russian troops crossed the border into Ukraine, back in February 2022, those of us who questioed the Russia bad, Ukraine goood narrative have been targeted by torrents of abuse hurled by pseudo - patriots and armchair soldiers, and called a 'Kremlin stooges', Russian agents', 'Putin supporters', and enemies of freedom. Ukraine Too Corrupt To Join The EU Says Former EU Leader Juncker
Former EU Commission President and world class oenophile Jean-Claude Juncker, stated this week in unusually blunt terms that are perhaps a sign of the times, that Ukraine is not ready to join the EU due to its being "corrupt at all levels of society," the former European Commission president, said in unusually blunt language during an interview with Germany’s Augsburger Allgemeine newspaper this week.

There Is Only One Way Ukraine Can End The War
As Ukraine's much hyped counterattack has failed to achieved the and momentum that hoped for by American and NATO leaders including President Volodymyr Zelensky who admitted it was "slower than desired", and a range of soldiers interviewed by BBC and Sky News television reporters t on different parts of the long (probably too long given the depletion of Ukrainian military manpower,) frontline have blamed minefields laid by Russian troops for that delay. Well as is often said, in any wartruth is the first casualty.

Who Blew Up The Nordstream Pipeline
So whodunnit? Sabotage of undersea gas pipe will escalate tension and move the world closer to nuclear war, but who is behind it, Russia in a bid to put more presure on Europe, Ukraine in an attempt to drag NATO into direct action, or the USA using a CIA false flag event to advance its own agenda.

Has Putin Has Pushed Europe Into Economic Depression, Hyperrinflation and Currency Collapse?
Though it was entirely predictable and indeed had been expected for some time, the news over the weekend that the Nord Stream 1 pipeline which feeds gas from Russia to northern Europe via The Baltic route had been shut down completely by The Kremlin in retaliation for the continued financial and military support given by NATO and EU member states to Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. Is Russia Selling Its Oil To The World Through An Obscure Egyptian Port?
As this blog predicted when NATO and EU member states shot themselves in the foot by reacting to Russia's invasion of Ukraine with sanctions that prevented Russia from selling oil, gas and vital raw materials to the countries that needed them most, the NATO and EU member states, the Russians have had no problems finding alternative customers for their gas and oil and no problem getting oil into the world's commodity markets through the back door.

Jingoistic Western Triumphalism Will Not End The War In Ukraine Or Cripple Putin, But It Is Crippling Western Nations

As the war in Ukraine grinds on and Russia steps up its economic war against the west and in particular The European Union, claims made recently by the idiotically 'woke' leaders of Europe's main economic and military powers that the West has a once-in-a–generation chance to severely weaken Russia’s capabilities, both militarily and geopolitically, look increasingly hollow. Putin's critics have cited 'Western unity' as one of the main reasons why Russia will be economically destroyed and politically humiliated when the Ukraine's military finally claim victory.

We The Good Guys Versus They The Bad Guys Reporting Does Not Make Sense For The Ukraine Crisis
Mainstream media reporting of the conflict in Ukraine has disappointed. Perhaps I was naive to suppose that lessons might have been learned from the hits their print sales and online traffic rates took as a result of their handling the COVID pandemic But instead of focusing on the most obviously newsworthy aspect of the build up to and escalation of the war, Russia’s view of NATO expansion into Ukraine and even further to Georgia and Kazakhstan, news reports have simply demonised Russia and portrayed Ukraine as the good guys.

Boris and Biden Can't Blame Ukraine War For Energy Crisis
With typical arrogance and condescension towards the people who elected them Boris Johnson, Joe Biden and their respectiive presstitutes are trying to spin the energy crisis Europe and North America are currently facing as somehow being linked to the conflict in Ukraine and therfore blame is being attactched to Russia and Vladimir Putin. Do they really think we are stupid enough to believe such unmitigated bollocks? ...

What If The Global Oil Crisis Is About To Get Really Serious

We're in an oil crisis, with oil and gas supplies from Russia not available because of sanctions related to the war in Ukraine, The Strait of Hormuz, through which oil and gas from the Persian Gulf region must pass, effectively closed (no matter what the propaganda says,) and the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni Houthis threatening to deny oil shipped from the Saudi's Red Sea oil ports to western markets. The Houthis control the Bab al Mandab strait at the entrance to The Red Sea.

We have reported on Ukraine's sabotage of Russia's Nordstream pipeline, Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the Houthis before but what if the global it is about to get much, much worse?

We are not talking about another $10 per barrel rise in the cost of crude oil but a genuine global energy emergency, where oil reaches $150 or even $200 a barrel, physical shortages begin shutting down meaningful portions of the global economy, and central banks find themselves confronting an inflationary recession.

Global crude oil consumption is roughly 100 million barrels per day. That oil powers cars, trucks, trains, agricultural equipment, factories, and enormous portions of the world’s air, and marine transport and industrial infrastructure. It also provides the raw materials for plastics, chemicals, packaging, and countless manufactured products. And Natural Gas is the main fuel for electricity generating plant in many of the largest economies.

Under normal circumstances, this gigantic system operates almost invisibly. Oil is pumped out of the ground, loaded onto tankers or moved through pipelines, delivered to refineries, and transformed into the fuels and materials that keep the global economy functioning.

If oil cannot be transported from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf States via The Red Sea or Hormuz to a refinery in Europe or Asia, or if a refinery cannot obtain the particular crude it needs, that supply effectively disappears from the market until the problem is resolved.

The Saudi authorities said they intercepted two missiles targeting Riyadh, a day after they said Houthi strikes on airports in the kingdom killed three people.

Oil prices rose sharply on Thursday (October 8), with Brent crude, the global benchmark, up more than 5 percent as explosions were reported in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Thursday as the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen claimed to have attacked the city’s international airport for the second time this week.

The targeting of Riyadh has raised pressure on Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom’s de facto leader, to resolve the escalating conflict as the fighting threatens his plans to turn the country into a business and tourism hub. Riyadh is set to host several international events in the coming weeks, including an annual investment summit hosted by Prince Mohammed that is typically attended by world leaders, billionaires and top global executives.

The situation in all major markets os volatile, only yestrday (Wednesday,) oil pricesfell President Trump just issued a new Truth Social Post Thursday just after noon time (eastern), wherein he declared "we will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the Midterm Elections" in November. This is quite bizarre as oil trades are not based on stocks of extracted oil, but contracts to buy oil that will not be extracted for months.

Now should Trump restart his campaign against Iran and the Irainians show the kind of resilience they have to date not only will oil prices soar, supplies will be hit hard. And others may take advantage of the chaos to pursue their own agendas.  Turkey waiting ready and willing to fight Houthis. That brings in NATO. Trump say he will not attack Iran before midterms but that was before the Houthis attack on the Saudi capital.

And so the local wars become a regional war and may even escalate beyond that.

There certainly are plenty of signs of significant US escalations in Ukraine, in West Asia, and in Iran, possibly all three concurrently.  There cannot be many additional sanctions or economic warfare tactics left for Trump and NATO to use and those already applied have mostly backfired, with China and Inia having been the main beneficiaries as the sanctions have hit hardest on the nations that applied them.  But mostly the US / NATO plans have not done well.  The Ruble was supposed to be rubble by now and Russia was supposed to be out of men and missiles.  Iran was supposed to be a colony of Israel by now.  Even Palestine is still around.

It look like being a blesk midwinter for many of us.

Intercepted Messages Hint That Putin's Patience With Ukraine Has Run Out And He Will Weaponise Winter Against Zelensky's Regime

One of the great mysteries of the war in Ukraine is why the Russians have put up with the crazy Ukie's escalations, provocations and murderous stupidity for so long. Ukraine could have had peace on very reasonable terms in April 2022 but chose to allow the USA and Europe to bribe or bully them into continuing the conflict.

In the intervening four years Russia has suffered significant losses of personnel and equipment but Ukraine has been crushed to the extent it will ever again be able to function as a nation.

As we move into the winter of 2026/27 statements from The Kremlin suggest Putin is at last preparing to destroy Ukraine's resistance. Maybe it is the possibility of earning huge revenues from resumption of the trade in its natural resources with the US after the conflict ends, an opportunity created by conflicts in the middle east which are not likely to reach an early conclusion as Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni Houthis, respectively allies of the original combatants, USA and Iran have now re-ignited their long standing animosity and that conflict has disrupted the flow of  oil based exports from the Red Sea via the Bab al Mandab strait as well as through the blockaded Strait of Hormuz.

https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/ukraine_0.jpg
Now is the winter of Ukraine's discontent - Picture: Zero Hedge

The New York Times claims to have intercepted Russian communications which discuss plans to obliterate Ukraine's power, heating, and water systems through the coming winter. Though this is not confirmed, it aligns with Putin "escalating to de-escalate" over the summer in response to Zelensky's strike campaign, which has taken the form of ramping up attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. If the report is true such action would bring Ukraine to its knees.

Putin has previously held back from this option, perhaps due to his belief that Russians and Ukrainians are kindred people. However some mainstream media commentators have suggested that Russia  is running out of weapons, soldiers, oil, money and food, although their opinions seem to be based on Ukrainian propaganda. In the end it does not matter whether the development is due to low weapons production, trade opportunities or to hedge against the possibility of a hot war with NATO. If Putin and his politbureau have now realised Zelensky's corrupt regime will not surrender as long as the flow of cash and saleable goods from the west continues, the humanitarian consequences of ending the war on Russia's terms sooner rather than later, may well be less severe for the long suffering citizens of Ukraine than letting it run on until Zelensky & Co are ousted by rebellion or simply decide they have enough cash and golden toilets..

From a western point of view a number of American and European countries have some very large investments in Ukraine--mainly because Zelensky sold off chunks of Ukrainian land, resources and, we must presume, industries, to foreign interests--such as Blackrock and Monsanto. A Russian take-over of Ukraine--I think even of the parts of eastern Ukraine that are now essentially part of Russia--means that those who bought parts of Ukraine from Zelensky are now suffering from an "damaged assets" problem. That is they are either worthless or soon will be if Ukraine becomes part of Russia or is divided between Russia, Poland and Romania.

And having some very large worthless assets on the balance sheet is not good for corporate businesses or national economies. If the losses are big enough, this situation can cause a serious financial crisis.

So if the Trump administration and European leaders have been up to: trying to persuade Russia to make some kind of deal that would allow some of these investors to retain ownership, at least in part, of their holdings in areas that Russia has already taken over that makes sense. they will be looking for a way out, or some kind of relief at least.

I fear there are a lot of similar situations in the Middle East. A lot of banks and many of the world' biggest corporations lot of money that's not going to be paid back. We could be heading into the biggest financial crisis ever.

Russia Bombs Kiev Bridges In Bid To Split The City

The Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge has been hit by jet-powered drones five times this week

Support cables of a Kiev bridge are hit by Russian drone - Picture: Valentyn Ogirenko/Reuters via Daily Telegraph

Reports from Ukraine highlight a new Russian tactic which may yet prompt citizens to rebel against the corrupt Zelensky regime which is still doing everything possible to prolong the war even at their country is being destroyed and a generation of young men conscripted into military service are being slaughtered. That doing so amounts to national suicide is irrelevant to the corrupt regime of course, so long as the neo - Nazi cabal can keep enriching themselves by skimming off the cash flowing from the USA and Europe.

Several bridges in Kyiv have been closed as the result of new Russian drone attacks which killed one person in the city, the Ukrainian capital's authorities said Friday.

According to reports Russia has now hit four of eight bridges that connect Kyiv's western and eastern banks along the Dnipro River, with three being closed to to extensive damage..

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the city's Southern Bridge, also known as the Pivdennyi Bridge, was "completely closed" to traffic after the most recent attack on Friday (October 2) and the North Bridge was closed after a series of strikes on its supporting cables last week..

The concrete and steel bridge carries road vehicles and a metro rail line. The Southern Bridge has been hit twice over the two days by Russian drone attacks.

The Paton Bridge was also closed to traffic towards the left bank of the Dnipro River, and the North Bridge Klitschko said.

Russia's Ministry of Defence said its drones targeted a bridge over the Dnipro which is used for military purposes. Russia also said it attacked a power station in the surrounding Kyiv region alongside the Port of Izmail near the Black Sea and a cargo vessel.

A Russian attack on Kyiv also left one person in dead and at least two others injured after a strike hit a 25-story building in the Darnytskyi district.

There are indications that the public mood is swinging against Zelensky however, as protests against widespread fraud by government officials make clear even to the most blinkered citizen that their country in being used as the fall guy in NATO's proxy war against Putin's Russia.

Russia warned foreign nationals to leave Kiev back in May. Another, more forceful warning was issued earlier today: stay and you are exposing yourself to mortal danger. Add these attacks on Kiev’s bridges to the concurrent attacks on power substations, rail links, data centres, etc., and it’s becoming pretty obvious that Moscow intends to cut Kiev off from the West.

In my opinion, it is becoming increasingly clear that Russia has decided it needs to actually take Kiev in order to secure its western border.

Risk of a nuclear incident at the Kursk nuclear power plant,’ because of Ukie drone strikes warns IAEA“There is a risk of a nuclear incident at the Kursk nuclear power plant,” said Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) following his visit on Tuesday (27 August) to the facility in Kurchatov, close to the Russian border and the area curenly occupied by Ukrainian troops.

Will Commodities Be The New Reserve Currency As The Death Knell Of The Dollar Sounds?
Many respected economists and market analysts who favour the free markets approach concur that we are heading towards a new economic reality that will see the collapse of the US$ as the default reserve currency, to be replaced not by any other fiat currency such as the Euro or the Renminbi, but by a system in which  commodities are the primary denominator of value. Should this turn out to be the case we can expect an acceleration of the shift in geopolitical power from west to East.

Moscow Slams Door On Renewed Peace Negotiations As Zelensky Sabotages Another Peace Initiative For Ukraine

 Egbert Nobakkon,30 September 2026

The consequence of Ukraine's war (Picture: today.usc.edu/ )

Two weeks ago the Kremlin was hinting that negotiations to end Russia's war with Ukraine could resume. Putin had said the trilateral talks with the United States and Ukraine would be unlikely before the State Duma elections, but that Russia would be ready to resume contacts after them. The elections ended on September 20. Within a week, both Putin and Lavrov had shifted from conditional openness to a set of positions that make a negotiated end to the war harder to reach than at any point this year.

The tipping point was Ukraine's drone swarm attack on Russia's election day, which due to its timing could only have been intended to provoke the Russians into changing their position.. Russian state media reported that more than 1,600 drones targeted the Moscow area that night, with strikes on polling stations, including one on a school which was effectively destroyed.

Also the head of a territorial election commission was killed when her home was hit. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin called the raid unprecedented. According to RT, two civilians were killed in the suburbs and an oil refinery was damaged. Whatever one makes of Russian accounts of the damage, because throughout this war it has been clear that reports issued by either side cannot be believed, the political effect in Moscow was plain.

In a press conference on September 25, Putin recast the whole negotiating track. He listed a series of Ukrainian escalations: the strike on St. Petersburg's port during the June economic forum, a campaign against Russian refineries, an attempted blockade of Russia's Black Sea coast that he said damaged more than 100 vessels, and strikes on commercial warehouses.

Putin's  message to Kyiv was that no provocation or escalation will get it what it wants, and by sabotaging every pace initiative Kiev is only making its own situation worse.

He said Russia had answered each one, so effectively that Kyiv is now seeking partial ceasefires in the energy sector and the air.

This, we know from independent sources in the USA, United Nations and NATO is true. As has ben the pattern since 2022, every time a peace initiative has been launched or some leader or other ( principally Donald Trump or Turkey's President Erdogan,) has offered to host negotiations or tried to broker a deal, the crazy, war loving, neo - Nazi Ukies and their putative leaders The Poisonous Pixie With The Piano Playing Penis Zelensky, have sabotaged it by escalating conflict or provoking Russia.

We will never know how many of the Ukrainians demonstrating in Maidan in 2013 would have actually turned out if they knew what the unconstitutional overthrow of the corrupt, Kremlin friendly Yanukovich government, engineered by the CIA, NATO and the EU was going to bring about.

They could have waited a year to throw the democratically elected government out in elections  but were led down the primrose path with false promises that a new future with NATO and European Union was at hand if they wold turn away from Moscow. It was, but with the loss of territory, millions of people , their infrastructure, and an impotent Europe unable to do anything about.it. That is the tragedy and it can’t be undone . Ukraine, as corrupt if not more so now than it was then, could have been much better now without the coup.

Russia didn't demand much to avoid this war. Ukrainian neutrality. No more CIA bases and American bio weapons labs on their border. Stop killing Russian speaking Ukrainians in Donbas by the thousands with shelling. Put a lid on the Nazism.

But no. Ukraine just had to fight to the death. For what? So they could keep shelling their own people in the Russian speaking eastern provinces? So they could militarise with NATO to attack Russia later? Was it worth it?

A few weeks into the war Russia gave them one more chance to keep all of their territory and end the war. Ukraine would have signed the deal but Bozo Johnson, dispatched as Joe Biden's errand boy ordered them to fight on and warned that there was to be no peace deal that was not pre-approved by the USA and NATO. This intervention forced Ukraine to commit national suicide and also allowed the Banderite (neo - Nazi) Azov Brigade to grab total power.

The Ukrainian people should stop fighting Russians and attack their real enemies: their leadership, their Galician Nazi and Chosen minders, and the Euro goons and CIA operatives that destroyed them.

This current stalemate was easy to forecast because NATO and Ukraine want the war to keep going, but Russia has been steadfast in its resolve to keep the annexed land in Ukraine it has already conquered. Actually, the only way to end to the war is to agree with Russia’s demands.  Otherwise, it will be a future effort by NATO and Ukraine that will continue until either Ukraine gives in to Russia’s demands.

Well, it's just about over now. Millions dead and their economy destroyed. Whatever is left of Ukraine will be buried in debt up to their eyeballs, and the lenders will be demanding payment. Generations of Ukrainians will toil their whole lives to pay back the banksters who ruined them. There will be an exodus of any survivors to avoid that fate. Any left over will probably eventually revolt and default on all obligations. Either way Ukraine will be an impoverished and very poor state for a very long time.

A very stupid prize for a very stupid game. Maybe it's a small consolation that the western European nations that pushed this so hard are also collapsing economically, socially and politically while the American empire is accelerating into terminal decline.

Ukraine's Strategy For Defeating Russia Looks Increasingly Like National Suicide

 https://d39raawggeifpx.cloudfront.net/styles/16_9_desktop/s3/articleimages/bnePeople_Ukraine_Iuliia_Mendel.jpg
Iulia Mendel Picture credit: is in cyrillic scrpt

Iuliia Mendel, press secretary to Ukraine's putative leader President Zelensky from 2019 to 2021, has written an article for The Spectator, titled “Zelensky’s Strategy Is National Suicide.” Her argument makes a compelling case that Ukraine is not simply losing its war with Russia but is being so thoroughly wrecked in the process that it is effectively committing national suicide.

So why has The Poisonous Pixie With The Piano Playing Penis escalated the war and derailed negotiations every time Donal Trump, Turkey's President Erdogan or anyone else put forward a peace initiative?

Mendel repeated her argument the day after her article was published, September 16, in a livestreamed address to the European Parliament. She had intended to deliver the speech in person but was denied entry to the Parliament building and therefore had to appear virtually and the EU has been happy to play the part of Zelensky's catamite throughout this conflict, so long as they do not have to commit to direct military involvement. Mendel attributes the attempt to silence her to the sanctions President Zelensky had imposed on her three days earlier, although the European Parliament has not said why she was barred. Another possible reason is she has debunked the E/U / Kiev propaganda which claims Ukraine is winning.

Mendel’s article and speech have generated substantial controversy, which is hardly surprising given the severity of her indictment and the fact that she served as the president’s press secretary. This blog, which has tried to present an objective view of  Zelensky and the corrupt Banderite regime installed in Kiev after a US / EU engineered coup.

The most heavily emphasised problem in the article is demographics. Mendel notes that Ukraine's population has fallen dramatically since independence in 1991. She cites estimates of the current population ranging from roughly 20 to 30 millions, compared with approximately 52 million at independence.

Another aspect of this demographic crisis is Ukraine's low fertility rate and the imbalance between births and deaths. These trends amount to national suicide and make demographic recovery particularly difficult because the country has simultaneously experienced population loss, ageing and wartime casualties. Sadly it could all have been easily avoided had NATO taken a stance against instead of enabling Zelensky to lead Ukraine to national suicide.

Casualty figures remain particularly disputed. Estimates attributed to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk differ widely from figures publicly given by Zelensky.

Russian attacks have damaged Ukraine's energy infrastructure, transportation system and industrial capacity. The Ukraine government is increasingly dependent on Western financial assistance to sustain both its government and wartime economy as well as a continuous supply of arms and ammunition from the west to maintain its ability to continue the fight.

The episode also focuses on Ukraine's debt burden and the difficulty of continuing to finance the country indefinitely through foreign assistance. Western financial support is increasingly curtailed as economic effects of the war hit European economies while in the USA, Trump appears to have run out of patience after being messed about by Zelensky for four years. In her articl Mendel emphasizes the growing cost of maintaining the war.

Wartime conditions have weakened democratic institutions, restricted political rights and contributed to corruption. History demonstrates that wartime governments commonly impose extraordinary restrictions, while contending that Ukraine's prolonged conflict makes institutional recovery increasingly difficult. Even if assistance from NATO were to secure victory over Russia for Ukraine (which would not be a certainty in the unlikely event of NATO supplying combat personnel as well as hardware and consumables, Ukraine is broken as a nation and the public mood is swinging against Zelensky, Russia occupies 20% of its territory and as for the future, it is hard to see anything other than the breakup of the country.

Ukraine's situation is in stark contrast with Russia's. Russia has absorbed territory and population during the war and its military has become more capable through wartime experience. While acknowledging that Russia has also suffered casualties and economic costs, the economy is still functioning and the people are not facing power blackouts, shortages of food and general deprivation.

Mendel concludes by placing responsibility beyond Kyiv, pointing out that Western governments and particularly the EU also bear responsibility for encouraging Ukraine to continue fighting while Ukrainians bear the direct human and economic costs of the conflict.

The central premise is therefore not simply that Ukraine must concede territory or suffer a military defeat. Continued warfare can only leave Ukraine facing simultaneous demographic, economic, territorial, political and security problems. It's a "national suicide" driven by the egos of delusional neo - Nazis whose greed for cash, penchant for sitting on golden toilets and irrational hatred of all things Russian leads to their happily sacrificing  Ukraine's future, rather than fulfilling a government's primary duty to serve the best interests of the people.

He added that he had been shown evidence of damage caused by Ukie drone strikes during his visit to the plant.

Russia Just Sent out a Message NATO Should Better Listen To
The key paragraph from the latest official Russian naval doctrine is that Putin and his military advisers have sent a clear message that NATO encroachment is unacceptable. To be honest, there is nothing earth shattering in this, The Daily Stirrer and many other alternative media news and analysis sites have been warning for about two years that Obama's foreign policy was making conflict inevitable.
