America lurches to the left as Trump's failure to MAGA turns voters against him.

 

It was confirmed today that far left Islamo - Socialist Abdul El-Sayed, who ran as the Democrats candidate in the US mid - term elections will be the first Muslim in US history to become a Senator after he defeated Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan. The shock effect of his victory was diminished as President Trump's Republicans suffered night of terrible midterm results, losing control of both The House of Representatives and The Senate.

In Texas, Democratic newcomer James Talarico defeated Trump-backed Republican Ken Paxton, while South Carolina elected a Democrat Senator for the first time since 1998.

Most remarkably of all, Kansas sent a Democrat to the US Senate, which it had not done since 1932 during the Great Depression.

There were further stunning Democrat Senate victories in Iowa and Ohio, states Trump won by more than 10 points in the Presidential election in 2024.

American political pundits are suggesting it was Trump's war with Iran and his failure to effect regime change there, plus the effect of the war on fuel prices and the cost of living in general which cost the Republicans the election. 

It looks, from a British perspective, as if the American people have had a fit of collective insanity and voted in a whole collection of terrorist sympathising, criminal loving leftist nutters. If so it is not for the first time in Trump's second term, socialist New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani was quite open about his unAmerican, far left beliefs throughout hi mayoral campaign. But we can’t be sure that it was only the American people that actually voted given the electoral fraud perpetrated by both parties in American elections where, allegedly, it is not unusual for the votes of illegal immigrants, dead people and cartoon characters to outnumber legitimate voters. 

OK,Trump is a divisive character but so were Biden, Obama and Dubya, and it's true that many in the USA and so many suffer from the incurable mental illness known as TDS but this was a massive act of self harm by American voters when you bear in mind that El Sayed and many other newly elected members of Congress who ran as Democrats and not in fact democratic liberals but hard line communists who have been quite open about having formed a party within a party, the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). So Americans are about to find out what socialism is really about.

What If The Global Oil Crisis Is About To Get Really Serious

 

We're in an oil crisis, with oil and gas supplies from Russia not available because of sanctions related to the war in Ukraine, The Strait of Hormuz, through which oil and gas from the Persian Gulf region must pass, effectively closed (no matter what the propaganda says,) and the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni Houthis threatening to deny oil shipped from the Saudi's Red Sea oil ports to western markets. The Houthis control the Bab al Mandab strait at the entrance to The Red Sea. 

We have reported on Ukraine's sabotage of Russia's Nordstream pipeline, Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the Houthis before but what if the global it is about to get much, much worse?

We are not talking about another $10 per barrel rise in the cost of crude oil but a genuine global energy emergency, where oil reaches $150 or even $200 a barrel, physical shortages begin shutting down meaningful portions of the global economy, and central banks find themselves confronting an inflationary recession.

Global crude oil consumption is roughly 100 million barrels per day. That oil powers cars, trucks, trains, agricultural equipment, factories, and enormous portions of the world’s air, and marine transport and industrial infrastructure. It also provides the raw materials for plastics, chemicals, packaging, and countless manufactured products. And Natural Gas is the main fuel for electricity generating plant in many of the largest economies.

Under normal circumstances, this gigantic system operates almost invisibly. Oil is pumped out of the ground, loaded onto tankers or moved through pipelines, delivered to refineries, and transformed into the fuels and materials that keep the global economy functioning.

If oil cannot be transported from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf States via The Red Sea or Hormuz to a refinery in Europe or Asia, or if a refinery cannot obtain the particular crude it needs, that supply effectively disappears from the market until the problem is resolved.

The Saudi authorities said they intercepted two missiles targeting Riyadh, a day after they said Houthi strikes on airports in the kingdom killed three people. 
 
Oil prices rose sharply on Thursday (October 8), with Brent crude, the global benchmark, up more than 5 percent as explosions were reported in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on Thursday as the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen claimed to have attacked the city’s international airport for the second time this week. 

The targeting of Riyadh has raised pressure on Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom’s de facto leader, to resolve the escalating conflict as the fighting threatens his plans to turn the country into a business and tourism hub. Riyadh is set to host several international events in the coming weeks, including an annual investment summit hosted by Prince Mohammed that is typically attended by world leaders, billionaires and top global executives.

 

The situation in all major markets os volatile, only yestrday (Wednesday,) oil pricesfell President Trump just issued a new Truth Social Post Thursday just after noon time (eastern), wherein he declared "we will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the Midterm Elections" in November. This is quite bizarre as oil trades are not based on stocks of extracted oil, but contracts to buy oil that will not be extracted for months.

Now should Trump restart his campaign against Iran and the Irainians show the kind of resilience they have to date not only will oil prices soar, supplies will be hit hard. And others may take advantage of the chaos to pursue their own agendas.  Turkey waiting ready and willing to fight Houthis. That brings in NATO. Trump say he will not attack Iran before midterms but that was before the Houthis attack on the Saudi capital. 

 And so the local wars become a regional war and may even escalate beyond that.

There certainly are plenty of signs of significant US escalations in Ukraine, in West Asia, and in Iran, possibly all three concurrently.  There cannot be many additional sanctions or economic warfare tactics left for Trump and NATO to use and those already applied have mostly backfired, with China and Inia having been the main beneficiaries as the sanctions have hit hardest on the nations that applied them.  But mostly the US / NATO plans have not done well.  The Ruble was supposed to be rubble by now and Russia was supposed to be out of men and missiles.  Iran was supposed to be a colony of Israel by now.  Even Palestine is still around. 

It look like being a blesk midwinter for many of us.

'New Threats' Prompted US Bombers To Leave RAF Fairford - Trump

The news yesterday that the USA had withdrawn all of its bombers from RAF Fairford, the scene of a rather bizarre (according to mainstream media reports,) security incident being investigated by counter-terror police.

An official statement from The Pentagon confirmed on Sunday that the bombers - thought to be about a dozen B-1s - had left the base, having been recalled back to their home stations in America.

US media reported a new threat led to the bombers being removed, which follows the incident on 27 September when police were alerted to three "suspicious vehicles" near the airbase. So far reports on the story in mainstream media have oscillated between a very poor parody of a Bond film and a Keystone Cops silent farce.

A short time ago President Trump said the US moved its bombers out of RAF Fairford because of new threats to the base.

Asked if there was a "specific threat" that led to the removal of the US bombers, Mr Trump replied: "Yeah I think we can say that.

"They didn't fly out by accident.

"There were some threats. And rather than tempting the enemy, we'll capture the enemy and beat the enemy. But why should we leave them there? So we moved them around a little bit. Not very far."

It comes after US secretary of state Marco Rubio said the removal of the US bombers was not directly connected to the arrests of five men near the base.

The incident has drawn particular attention because RAF Fairford has been used for US military operations involving Iran since Britain authorised Washington to conduct specific defensive operations from the base in March

When Trump's War With Iran Reignites Will The Next Move Be Made By Washington, The Houthis In Yemen Or Putin?

 

America's war with Iran is not over and just about every commentator in mainstream r alternative news expect another large scale American attack just as soon as US President Trump thinks it politically expedient. Most of the speculation is currently that any such attack would only happen in mid to late November – i.e. after the US midterm election.

But why would Trump want to wait when he could use an attack as a tool in the election – to demonstrate decisiveness or whatever other political advantage he might gain from it.

Axios, a favourite news outlet for the White House public relations machine, today released this announcement:

Trump’s top national security aides meet secretly at Camp David on Iran, Yemen

President Trump’s top cabinet members huddled for hours at Camp David on Friday to discuss next steps in the Iran war and the Saudi-Houthi conflict in Yemen, three U.S. officials told Axios.

The highly unusual meeting was not announced by the Trump administration. The last time a similar meeting took place was in June 2025, just days before Israel went to war against Iran.

Among the other participants were Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, White House envoy Steve Witkoff, CIA director John Ratcliffe and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine.

“Things were decided or at least deeply discussed,” one of the officials said, referring to the crisis in the Middle East.

The meeting appears to have been a genuine strategy discussion rather than a performative exercise. It could signal the beginning of planning a new attack that, before the election, would have to be decisive. There have however been none of military moves we would expect before a large operation. 

The meeting was discussed this morning by Nima Alkhorshid and Professor Marandi, an Iranian political analyst. Although the focus was more on the latest escalation in the conflict between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, the various possibilities as Trump plans his next moves against Iran were analysed. What Iraqi forces will now do was also mentioned. 

The main issue however seems to be Yemen and the real threat Ansarallah poses to the Takfiri Saudi regime. This has a direct bearing on the Iran conflict as the Houthi rebels in Yemen, funded and supplied by Iran, are currently in a position to control marine traffic in and out of The Red Sea via the Bab al Mandab strait. Further disruption of movement through that chokepoint on top of Iran's blockade of The Strait of Hormuz could have a catastrophic effect on the global economy. 

In the latter portion of Suliaman Ahmed’s chat with Davis, Yemen was deeply discussed. Saudi air force attacks are doing nothing to deter/halt Ansarallah advances on the ground that are moving quite rapidly in Yemen’s terrain, which as many are finally noting is very similar to Iran’s near Hormuz. Additional attacks by Yemen/Iran on Emirati oil facilities and Saudi Arabian facilities show there’s much more to this war than control of Hormuz–there must be product to move. Iran’s tactic of denying oil to the West if it is kept from exporting its oil, diesel and petrol (gasoline) is working very well, and Trump and his Gang’s continual spin cannot alter reality. The diesel price crisis within the west is a clear-cut case of Capitalist/BigOil gouging that is only now facing political opposition.

 It appears battlelines are being drawn as the conflict threatens to expand globally. Chinese and likely DPRK (North Korea) and CSTO (former Soviet states,) involvement in the recent changes to the BRICS system for cross border financial transfers as a rival to Swift  is an example. Some reliable insight into the thinking of Russia and China about the effects of this and the Ukraine conflict on the Eastern Mediterranean, West Asia and reconfiguration of governments would be useful too. 

It is difficult to see which way the conflict is going especially as Putin has this week warned NATO that any move against Russia's Baltic enclave, Kaliningrad, would incur serious, possibly nuclear consequences.  One last question being asked: What does Iran plan to do with the millions now volunteering for military duty; will their deployment be defensive, offensive or both?

Five Suspected Terrorists Arrested Outside RAF Fairford, An Airbase Used By U.S. Heavy Bombers For Strikes On Iran

UK authorities have apprehended five men on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack outside RAF Fairford, a British air base that also hosts US warplanes involved in strikes on Iran.

According to a statement by Gloucestershire Police Assistant Chief Constable Richard Ocone on Sunday, police received “a call relating to three suspicious vehicles travelling towards RAF Fairford.” The local media later described the vehicles as three white vans.

Officers arriving at the scene subsequently arrested five individuals near the village of Whelford “on suspicion of committing offences under the Explosives Act,” with Counter Terror Police investigating what officials characterised as a “major incident.”

Dr Antonio Giustozzi, a senior research fellow at the Royal United Services Institute, later told reporters that the operation appeared to have been an attempted a suicide attack using several vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices. This suggests a type of attack typical of well known terror groups sponsored by the government of Iran

The BBC published an unverified photo (below) purportedly showing the arrested suspects sitting half-naked on the ground with their hands behind their backs and faces blurred.

A British Army bomb disposal unit was deployed to the scene to examine the vehicles, with approximately 85 households evacuated as a precaution, Ocone told reporters. Several British media outlets have carried what appears to be helicopter footage depicting a specialized wheeled robot operating near the vans.

Local residents who have nowhere else to stay have been provided temporary shelter inside a leisure center.

Commenting on the incident in a post on X, UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham urged “people not to speculate while the authorities establish the full facts.”

Later on Sunday, Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Temporary Chief Constable Maggie Blyth gave an update, saying that the authorities believe the “matter to be contained.” However, she declined to reveal whether the police were looking for any more suspects.

No Donald, More Sanctions Will Not Defeat Iran

 For years Iran has confronted the power duopoly of the USA and Isrsel in the Middle East in spite of the crippling economic sanctions imposed by the US and its allies. The region was dominated by a hostile American superpower, a nuclear-armed and militarily superior Israel, and significant local actors—Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates—that were strategically and economically aligned with the United States.

That situation held for many years as support from China and Russia blunted most of the intended effects of sanctions and enhanced the Iranian theocracy's ability  to convince its citizens they were involved in a holy war and their suffering would be rewarded in heaven. Unfortunately part of the holy war the Iranian government did not make such a big deal of was their sponsorship of terrorist activities, mainly against the key US ally in the Middle East, Israel.

 Unfortunately Hamas, the jihadist group in Palestine, grew overconfident and on October 7 2023 carried out an atrocity that killed over 1200 Israeli civilians, with hundreds more taken hostage and many women and girls raped. Israel had to respond by attacking Hamas in Gaza, Iran struck Israel and the situation slowly escalated until this year when the USA in support of its ally, engaged Iran in full scale war.

The conflict should have been a walkover for the US military bu Iran’s control of the Strait of Hormuz is a more useful instrument of power than all of The Pentagon's nuclear arsenal would be. A nuclear weapon might deter an attack, but control of the strait gives Iran leverage every day, over the flow of oil, liquid petroleum gas hydrocarbons from the Gulf States to dozens of countries around the world. With it, By weaponising Hormuz Iran can reward friends, punish enemies, extract revenue, force the loosening of sanctions, and make governments think twice before taking sides against the turdbrains in Tehran. It can do all of this without firing a shot because with its artillery placed on the high ground overlooking the strait, all shipping passing through the waterway is vulnerable, so Iran needs to do litttle other than preserving the ability to threaten violence when necessary. 

Writing in the Atlantic the neo-con Robert Kagan ponders the consequences of a U.S. defeat in the middle east:

For years, Iran confronted a balance of power in the Middle East that tilted against it. The region was dominated by a hostile American superpower, a nuclear-armed and militarily superior Israel, and significant local actors—Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates—that were strategically and economically aligned with the United States.

Today finds Iran in entirely new circumstances. It has gone head-to-head with the superpower and Israel, withstood a pounding from their most advanced weapons, and more than survived. As a result, Iran has, with help from the USA, completely reconfigured the power structure of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf. The dominant power in the region going forward will be Iran, not the U.S. or Israel. Neighbouring countries are already making their adjustments to this new reality. More distant powers will too. For years, the world has been dealing with an Iran constrained. It will now discover what Iran unleashed looks like.

Kagan says that Iran does not need a treaty, MoU, or any other deal  with the U.S.  It does not even need nuclear weapons.  Sanctions against Iran will not help, it is a hue country and can be self sufficient in food, fuel and the necessities without support from China and Russia (which it still has BTW.):

The sanctions strategy that for decades served to isolate Iran rested on international cooperation. Nations that depend on access to the strait—Japan and South Korea, for example—will have to choose between access to a reliable energy supply and participation in American-backed sanctions. Will they choose solidarity with Washington—this Washington—over their economic interests? In the new order that Iran is creating, a global sanctions regime is likely to be unsustainable.

Throughout the  current conflict the US has repeatedly disregarded, downplayed or derided the Iranian’s ability to military defend themselves and inflict pain on American assets.   Washington's arrogant attitude  towards the Iranians has seen over 90 US military aircraft, worth more than 10 billion dollars destroyed, the operational destruction of at three quarters of the 20 US military bases in the Middle East built over the last 40 years, the destruction of the 5th fleet’s naval HQ and of all 8 major radar instillations in the Middle east worth between 5-8 billion dollars.  Officially 18 US military deaths (unofficial numbers that include US private military, US civilian contractors and soldiers who died “later” due to their injuries are estimated at over 1500!) and of course the loss of roughly 25% of world wide supply of oil and oil-related products (fertiliser, sulphur, helium, nitrogen, asphalt, etc..).  The Americans have constantly talked about Iran as if it was a rotten house and one good kick would bring down the entire rotten structure.

But when sanctions have failed, to suggest the solution is more sanctions indicates Washington is out of ideas for ending this conflict.

Zelensky Pays The Price For Trying To Ecalate War To Twist Trump's Arm

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s 40-day “influence” operation against Russia backfired in typical fashion, when a drone attack resulted in the murder of eight civilians on a beach in the Russian Black Sea resort of Gelendzhik. 

It was all part of another futile bid by the Banderite (neo - Nazi) crazies in Kiev to convince some of Zelensky’s Western backers that Ukraine could defeat Russia, but  after six weeks of  what we are expected to believe were long-range strikes on Russian infrastructure civilian targets seemed to find civilian targets easier to hit and Kiev’s debts, incurred as a result of Zelensky's miscalculation of Trump's mood, quickly came due as Moscow upped the ante by increasing the intensity of its missile bombardment of Ukrainian cities. Trying to twist Trump's arm was a costly mistake as Zelensky is finding out.

What struck us Boggart Bloggers as strange about Ukraine's long range strikes on targets deep inside Russian territory was that they were carried out with relatively short range weapons, therefore they must have been fired from inside Russia. As an exercise in how to piss off Russia its a masterclass from the Zelensky boys club, but we read that it has not impressed Ukrainian citizens whose loved ones have been killed or injured or whose homes have been destroyed. UN news reports that Ukrainian civilian casualties so far this year are more than double the same period last year. 

Russia escalated its missile and drone campaign against Ukraine’s Black Sea ports, crippling the country’s already reeling economy and shutting off a key transit route for Western weapons entering Ukraine. RT examined the scale of Russia’s campaign against Ukrainian ports here, and as Russian missiles rained down on logistics hubs across Ukraine, asked whether Zelensky’s PR operation succeeded in “turning the tide.”

Ukraine has no chance of neutralising Russia’s long range missiles unless it can get supplies of America's latest PAC-3 interceptors for its Patriot air defence systems. Zelensky spent his week in the US capital begging for these valuable weapons, only to have his request publicly shot down by US President Donald Trump. “We want missiles too,” was Trump’s concise response.

Zelensky’s missile problem and Europe's vulnerability is unlikely to be a high priority for Trump. The US expended far too many of the PAC-3s so far built in the first three days of the war on Iran earlier this year, and although Tehran and Washington both said this week that a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz is “nearing completion,” Trump threatened to strike Iran at “levels of Military Terror, Strength, and Power not seen since World War II” if negotiations fall through.

Should that happen, the US, Ukraine, and Washington’s Gulf allies will all be competing for a dwindling supply of interceptors.

Why Ukraine's Banderite Elite Hope Forcing Men Into Military Service Will Keep The War Going

 

The despairing cries of a woman who stands, helpless can be heard along the whole length of the street, as masked men grab her husband, then bundle him into a waiting van. Within seconds she is a forlorn figure, weeping in the middle of the now deserted street. This is Odesa, but scenes like it, captured on phones and posted online, hammer Ukrainian cities as relentlessly as Russian missiles. Since Putin’s full-scale invasion began, over a million Ukrainians have been conscripted to defend their homeland. And, as voluntary recruits have dried up, the army has begun resorting to the same methods faced by that couple in Odesa. .

The process is brutally simple. Draft officers, often accompanied by police, snatch military-age men off the streets, before delivering them to recruitment centres. There, many are pressured through threats, intimidation, and physical abuse to pass military medical examinations and sign draft papers. Men with serious conditions — including HIV, tuberculosis and even cancer — are routinely declared fit for military service by the Banderite militaty. Whether they like it or not, the recruitment officers must meet quotas; the only question is who fills them. Yet with Ukraine’s wealthy elite reluctant to heed the call, even as their closest allies advise them to accept defeat and surrender to save what is left of their country Kyiv’s recruitment crisis is becoming a class crisis too, one that could cause chaos long after the guns fall silent.

War is always ugly. Always. No exceptions. In war, morality becomes flexible. Both sides do things in the name of victory that they wouldn't do in peacetime to each other, to neutral parties, and to their own citizenry. The winner of the conflict gets to justify, rationalise, and sometimes just forget their own offences while the loser gets blamed for the war and everything their side did becomes a war crime or a genocide or w/e else the winners want to call it. Thus Ukraine's propagandists keep spinning propaganda to turn crushing defeat by an overwhelming force into a kind of victory.

Case in point, the US operated concentration camps and interned Japanese Americans in WWII. Were they better than the Nazi death camps, yes, but then our territory and infrastructure wasn't being decimated on a daily basis either. Had we faced an invasion of our homeland, had the US lost the war to Japan, this would not be merely and embarrassing historical footnote and we would probably not have been able to sweep this under the rug so easily.

The longer the conflict goes on, and the more dire the situation becomes for either side, the more decisions are ruled by fear and desperation rather than sound judgement. Fear and desperation make for poor decisions. War is one of those rare occasions where the top layers of society are truly in jeopardy of losing their wealth, power, and status. In normal times, people who possess wealth and power have little to fear. The two things ruling classes fear are war and revolution, because when the system, the army, the law, and the government that protects the ruling class and allows them to be a ruling class are defeated, they are no different than anybody else. They can be shot dead as easily as a homeless man on the street. Anything they own can be seized by force of arms. 

That's what's really going on here. The desperation of Ukraine's corrupt western leaning leaders and elites is showing in their tactics. The soldiers generated by this effort are almost certainly not worth the public backlash that is already building against them, but they're not being rational anymore. They're terrified of Putin and of being reabsorbed into Russia. They're terrified of signing any treaty that doesn't bind the EU or US or both to come to Ukraine's defense actively because they know that Russia can rearm and rebuild faster than they can. Never mind about Putin, the US will never agree to that. They'd know that if they were thinking rationally, but they're not. They're afraid of the Russians, they are terrified of going into exile because interpol have issued arrest warrants for them over embezzlement of cash aid, and they're desperate to find some way out of this dilemma.

The War With Iran Is On - No It's Off - No It's On Again

 

The UK Maritime Trade Operations centre (UKMTO) reported late on Tuesday afternoon that it had received imformation about a tanker being hit by an Iranian drone and sustaining "minor structural damage" while passing through the  Strait of Hormuz., the gas and oil transit chokepoint at the entrance to the Persian Gulf.

The agency said no casualties or environmental impacted had been reported so far and that the vessel was "continuing to its next port of call".

Around 40 minutes earlier, UKMTO said another tanker was reportedly struck by an "unidentified projectile" in the Strait, taking "structural damage". Again no casualties have been reported, it added.

The agency is investigating the incidents and advised vessels in the area to proceed with caution.

Early on Tuesday morning, a third ship reported being hit in the region by an "unknown projectile on the port side," causing a fire, per UKMTO.

According to the agency, the ship was sailing south out of the Strait, close to Limah, Oman. Again, it said there were no recorded casualties or impacts to the environment.

Iran's Fars News Agency claimed one of the ships struck in the Strait is the Al-Ruqayat, which was targeted after allegedly ignoring IRGC navy warnings while passing through the Strait's Omani route. Tehran has said only its approved route through the Strait of HOrmuz is safe. The elite Iranian IRGC resiment did not directly claim the assault, but The Wall Street Journal reported that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had fired at two commercial ships.

Majed Al Ansari, a spokesperson for Qatar's foreign ministry, has condemned the attack on the Qatari tanker, calling it an "unacceptable attack on the security & safety of international maritime navigation".

Ansari added that the government of Qatar held Iran "fully legally responsible for this attack & for any resulting damages & consequences".

The Strait of Hormuz has been at the centre of tensions between Washington and Tehran and is a key part in the "memorandum of understanding" agreed by the two sides in June, but constant violations suggest a deal to end the war is as far off as ever

Iran had effectively closed off the Strait after the US launched military action against Iran in February, sparking chaos in global energy markets. Iran's latest violations of the fragile ceasefire come as the world waited for President Trump's response to attacks on commercial shipping at the end of last month. Many commentators opine that negotiations will collapse and full scale war will erupt again as Iran continues to weaponise the strait against The USA and Israel.

Brent crude oil rose 1.4pc to $73 a barrel following the strike, which Iranian state television said happened after the liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker ignored warnings. Crude oil and Brent is still lower than when the Iran war started and the Gas price before the Ukrainian War started. Yet our petrol is 20p a litre higher and The Energy Cap is 30% higher. We are being totally ripped off and shop prices continue to rocket dur to the transport and energy costs. The cost of living crisis is being ignored by the media but it's forcing millions into debt or poverty. 

Oil as a commodity is INCREDIBLY cheap. Just look at a 25 year timeline and take inflation into account. It is the stinking greedy Government that is milking us.
