After colluding with his political opponents to deny French voters their democratic choice, the President of France, le petit crapaud Francois Hollande is now busy trying to abolish free speech so that the important issues that concern rank and file voters cannot be discussed in public or in the media.
Recently there has been an upsurge in support for political parties that promise to defend national sovereignty in European Union member states, and a public opinion backlash against the EU's 'open doors' immigration policy that has seen some European towns, cities and even smaller nations so inundated with news arrivals from outside the EU, undocumented travellers claiming they are refuges or asylum seekers (when in fact they are nothing but economic migrants and as such should go through the lengthy process of applying for residency visas and work permits, that infrastructures that have served stable and culturally homogeneous populations for decades are overwhelmed.
Political elites and supra national bureaucracies now find themselves on the back foot, even the politically correct idiotocracies of Germany and Sweden have had to reimpose border controls. It’s becoming harder to control information and ensure the fragile, synthetic, politically correct consensus holds together. News is controlled, propaganda is presented as fact and now in France, anarchic, liberty loving France, as well as in Britain, Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, and in the USA and Australia, socialist politicians are openly discussing the abolition of free speech. This is intellectual terrorism, war by the state against the liberty of the people.
A history of lies and cover-ups, character assassinations, political slight-of-hand, false flag deceptions, covert surveillance and operations by government agencies, politicians whose loyalties are to corporate sponsors rather than voters – these things have been the modus operandi of organized crime and ruling elites for centuries.
Putting aside history’s biggest frauds though, the driving force behind this authoritarian trend is the elite's paranoid fear of losing their grip on power because the masses are well informed enough to see through the deceptions, manipulation and bullshit. By suppressing their opponents ability to criticize government policy and performance, question dodgy 'science' such as climate change and genetically modified food crops or misleading statistics such as the figures which purport to show mass immigration improves economic performance, political elites and their media poodles aim to eliminate any alternative analysis and opinion. A significant portion of the population are so brainwashed with the post - Marxist ideology of the politically correct consensus that the media only have to apply the completely open-ended, arbitrary, and usually incorrect label of "racist", "extremist", homophobic" or "Islamophobic" to the expression of perfectly reasonable ideas in everyday speech and public discourse and a dozen "left wing" hate - mobs will spring up in the streets and on social media. The powers that be want to wind back the clock, where a pre-internet, monolithic corporate media cartel held a monopoly on ideas.

France has currently edged into the lead in this inter-governmental effort (see below), the preliminary assault began this past fall with British Prime Minster David Cameron publicly announcing on two separate occasions, that all of these so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ (anything which challenges the official orthodoxy) should be deemed “extremist” and equivalent to “terrorism” and should be purged from society on the grounds of ‘national security’. The first came with Cameron’s warped speech at the UN, and afterwards, a similar charge was made by the UK leader against anyone who dares press the issue of institutional paedophilia and child abuse.

OK, OK, hipsters will say but ‘we’ve never had democracy’, or, ‘it was destroyed long ago’, but left wing deceit aside, I think its worth actually thinking about how, many forms of democratic expression, effective dissent and peaceful self-determination are being outlawed and abolished in a sustained attack on free speech and civil rights.
