England’s Chief Medical Officer testified before the official civer up exercise known as the Covid Inquiry today, claiming he feared the government “overdid it” when talking up the dangers of Covid during the 'project fear' stage of the scamdemic.
The Telegraph reports:
The Government potentially overstated the danger of Covid to the public at the start of the pandemic, Prof Sir Chris Whitty has admitted.
The Chief Medical Officer told the Covid Inquiry he still worries about whether the Government got “the level of concern” right as it introduced lockdowns and shielding measures.
Sir Chris said it was a difficult balance and if anything it was possible that authorities “overdid it” when communicating how dangerous the virus was at the beginning of the pandemic.
This is typical British understatement beloved of government officials, which when combined with “official inquiry dilution”, automatically transforms "We knowingly and deliberately did X” into “I fear we may have done X by accident“.
Whitty doesn’t “think they potentially overstated the danger”, he knows they definitely did just as the rest of us do. It’s been pretty much proven.
The Covid 19 pandemic was a web of lies and statistical misrepresenation created specifically to enable a gross and collective abuse of power by governments around the world.
That’s all old news.
Yet Chris Whitty himself is a good example of a potentially interesting phenomenon.
From the beginning of the “pandemic” he seemed strangely keen to distance himself from the very panic he was helping to create, and to, in pure Doublethink, underline the complete lack of danger from the much hyped “deadly new disease”. We should not assume from that he was some kind of hero standing on principle – he wasn’t, the toed the line to serve his own interests and advance his career. He was a lying little shit who stuck to the narrative and lied about the threat and vaccines as much as anyone – but he seems to have been in some ways uncomfortable with the enormity of the deceit.
I guess you could say this serves as a reminder that – however monolithic the establishment may seem – it is still made up of human beings who will not always 100% agree about everything.
Yes, the “covid” scam had the backing of almost every establishment institution on the face of the planet, but those institutions are made up of individuals. And at least some of those individuals must have had doubts because Whitty is not the only one now driven by guilt to admit he was part of a crime against humanity.
One des not climb the heights in intelligence or politics without being some type of psychopath so we can take it that Whitty does not feel morally compromised, but maybe doesn’t want to be seen as the kind of person who tells lies, or one narcissistic eye on how they might be remembered by posterity.
I can’t remember the source, but last month I read a comment by some Establishment public health official or epidemiologist declaring that COVID had transitioned from “pandemic” to “endemic”. A few dats ago I received a message from my health practice inviying me for my Autumn booster.
I phoned the practice manager and asked how many shots this would be now.
"This will be your eighth two vaccines and 6 boosters," he said.
Then I told him that as I have not had my first shot yet, and neither have I had Covid wheras everybody I know who is vaccinated had had it, and most several times, I would continute to trust natural immunity.
What is happening here is normalisation of the disease and the twice yearly vaccinations (which in itself proves the vaccines don't work,) and seems to be a matter of authorities sheepishly or contritely admitting in hindsight that “mistakes were made”– and, while slightly backing off the Big Lie that “COVID” was a deadly plague, reinforces the Little Big Lies underpinning the scamdemic/vax narrative.
Among other deceits, apologizing for “overstating” the risks implies that there was a genuine microscopic pathogen that caused significant and widespread health risks, but it was simply assessed clumsily and inaccurately. Thus, both the assessment and the draconian official protocols may have been unduly harsh but it is implied the problem was real – presumably the confusion over the “level of concern” was/is more a matter of degree than kind.
The USA is seeing this kind of COVID normalization too. In recent weeks a new Pfizer ad campaign touting New! Improved! COVID jabs, and parallel ads for Paxlovid have been airing on TV. Just do a search for “Paxlovid”, and you will discover endless links discussing the Big Pharma nostrum with endless variations, e.g. “Is COVID gone after taking Paxlovid?” Or “How do I ‘manage’ Paxlovid use along with other ‘COVID’ medications?”
This all serves to “confess” that the authorities originally “may have overstated” the risks of “COVID”, but also facilitates the Big Medicine/Big Pharma fraud that implies that although “COVID” has been tamed, as it were, it remains a serious illness that still requires Big Pharma remedies rather that an out and out fraud, a minor infection that posed a serious risk only to those already at death's door for one reason or another. Can you say “Phantom Menace”?
