Trump Slams Britain's Brexit Deal
US President Donald Trump has warned Britain “may not be able to trade with the US” because of Theresa May’s Brexit deal in comments that could torpedo her hopes of winning Parliament’s backing.
Mr Trump said the agreement Mrs May reached with Brussels on Sunday “sounds like a great deal for the EU” as he urged the Prime Minister to think again.
The President’s intervention flies in the face of Mrs May’s claims that Britain will be able to strike free trade deals around the world after Brexit despite her concessions to the EU.
The timing could hardly have been worse for Mrs May, coming after she had spent hours in the Commons trying to convince MPs that her deal was the right one for Britain.
It hands her critics a powerful weapon as she begins a two-week election-style campaign to sell her deal to the public and save her premiership.
Love him or hate him, (and I'm indifferent,) Trump is right. Theresa May keeps talking aout 'after Brexit,' but her deal does not deliver Brexit, it simply moves the most contentious isues, fishing waters, the Irish border and Gibraltar out of the picture until after (appropriately) April 1, 2019. We cease to be members of the EU on Friday 29 March and on Monday 1 April we open for business as an EU vassal state.
And a vassal state we will continue to be until those three issues are resolved on terms the EU is willing to accept (i.e. total surrender.)
And if one reads the current draft agreement that parliament must vote on, as a vassal state we can't even fart without the EU's permission, let alone make bilateral trade deals.
Having said that, nobody should build up hopes of a favourable trade deal with the USA, nations that make "fair and equitable" trade deals with the US government generally find themselves holding the brown, smelly end of the stick.

Doubts Raised About Salisbury Nerve Agent Attack. UK Government Narrative Questioned
Since Teresa May stupidly decided to pick a fight with Russia over the alleged Kremlin sanctioned murder of Sergei Skripal, a former Russian spy who while spying for his homeland on Britain was also passing Russian secrets to MI5, the governments "It's the Russians" narrative has started to look more motheaten than a one armed piano players dinner jacket.
Not only was Skripal a double agent, since being released from prison in 2010 as part of a spy swap with the USA, the former spy has been involved in commercial espionage and was named as a person of interests in the Democrats Dodgy Dossier compiled in an effort to smear Trump in the 2016 US presidential election. People like him tend to have a lot of enemies (including, possibly, President Trump - how bizarre the loony left have not yet tried to implicate him in the attack.
There is something rather strange about the desperate bid to blame Russia, (apart from the fact that the media kerfuffle has kept two major stories off the front pages throughout this month;), it ignores a historic event that took place last November, also largely ignored at the time by most of the world’s media. Had the Salisbury attack not brought chemical weapons to the top of the news it might have remained ignored. In a ceremony at the headquarters of the world body responsible for the elimination of chemical weapons in The Hague, a plaque was unveiled to commemorate the destruction of the last of Russia’s stockpiles.
Gen Ahmet Üzümcü, the director general of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which works closely with the UN, was fulsome in his praise. “This is a major achievement,” he said. The 192-member body had seemingly overseen and verified the destruction of Russia’s entire stock of chemical weapons, all 39,967 metric tons.
The question now is whether all thne Russia government kept back any nasty stuff on the offchange that they might need to set up a clumsy and inept hit on a former spy. Theresa May – having identified the nerve agent used in the Salisbury attack as novichok, developed in Russia – told the Commons on Wednesday that Russia had offered no explanation as to why it had “an undeclared chemical weapons programme in contravention of international law”. Jeremy Corbyn introduced a sceptical note, questioning whether there was any evidence as to the location of its production. Corbyn is right, NATO and the USA are so desperate to pick a fight with Russia they have abandoned logic and reason.
The exchanges between May and Corbyn provoked a debate echoing the one that preceded the 2003 invasion of Iraq over whether UN weapons inspectors had overseen the destruction of all the weapons of mass destruction in the country or whether Saddam Hussein had retained secret hidden caches.
On social media, there were arguments that the novichok could have come from some part of the former Soviet Union other than Russia, such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan or Ukraine, or some non-state group, maybe criminals.' What has not been mentioned is that the hit was so ineptly carried out that it could not have been made to look more obviously like a CIA setup if it had been scripted by a Hollywood screen writer. We might expect such incompetence from the CIA or even MI5 but not the Russian secret service, The are masdters at offing people and leaving no evidence poiting to them.
A more detailed report in The Guardian. Left wing loonys who read that left wing paper tend to dismiss The Daily Stirrer contributors as a bunch of ancient, extreme right wing, racist, homophobic, misogynistic fascists. But wheras we are quite willing to agree with The Guardian or Jeremy Corbyn when we believe they are telling the true story, they would never accept that The Daily Mail or Boris Johnson might sometimes be correct. And in this case it seems they are, the absence of evidence to back up Teresa May's accusations makes her look as stupid as Barack Obama when he claimed he had irrefutable evidence that Vladimir Putin was directly involved in the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, before emergency crews had had time to examine the wreckage.

May 'under incredible pressure’ from colleagues to blame Russia in ex-spy poisoning
In a scathing tirade, British Prime Minister Theresa May came as close as possible to blaming Russia for the murder of former double agent Sergei Skripal and the poisoning of the spy's daughter Yulia as possible without actually declaring war. The astounding attack is believed to have been a result of intense pressure put on her by members of her government and the political opposition eager to find a scapegoat and mainstream media hungry for sensation. For May, it appeared to be a face-saving exercise following accusations of weakness as a result of her previously reasonable statements.
On Monday, May directly blamed Moscow for poisoning of former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter with “a military-grade nerve agent of a type developed by Russia.” While the Prime Minister didn't mince words in her accusations, she still left a loophole for a potential backtrack, using words like "it appears" and "highly likely" that the Russian state was responsible for the attacks.
Let's recap what we know. No doubt The Daily Stirrer will be accused of being a bunch of conspiracy theorists but in fact it is the narrative broadcast by government propaganda tat is a conspiracy theory. First we know for certain Sripal was a double agent, MI5 have conformed this. Second, he was allegely involved in industrial and commercial espionage. Third, he was recently known to be working for Fusion GPS, the private security firm run by Christopher Steele, the former British agent involved in compiling the now discredited Trump dossier for Hillary Clinton's campaign team during the 2016 US election.
Such people make their fortune out of betraying everybody and so tend to have a lot of enemies. When we say we do not know at this stage who murdered Skripal, this is not saying that the Russian government was not involved. It is only stating there is no hard evidence at this stage on which to base an accusation. We could easily say it was MI5 who needed to silence skripal. It could be some Russian businessman the former spy stitched up. It could be people working for either Trump of Clinton. BUT THERE IS NO EVIDENCE POINTING TO ANY OF THEM.
This public attribution of blame is May’s way of trying to strengthen her political profile and of appeasing hawks within her own party, rather than being a reflection of the government’s genuine belief, Sky News broadcaster and Sun journalist Jon Gaunt said.
“She is under incredible pressure at the moment not only from the Labour Party, but from members of her own Cabinet. Her position is very weak and the pressure has been growing for her to make some kind of statement to condemn Russia,” He is probably right, it would be typical of May's ineptitude in handling crises to pick a fight with Russia when the situation in the middle east is more volatile thn ever.
“Unfortunately, Theresa May was really forced to say something, she would have preferred to say nothing,” Martin McCauley, author and Russia analyst, argued, adding that statements starting with “highly likely” are destined for a failure in the court of law.
May is “responding to the media in Britain which is going hysterical on the story,” according to former CIA officer Philip Giraldi.
“The whole story doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, it invites analysis that says, ‘How can the Russians be so stupid to do something like this if they intend to do it and keep it a secret?’” he added. That is the most sensible statement to date, when governments want to be rid of inconvenient people, and we're not just talking about Russia here, or China, but our own government, the USA, every nation on earth, they have the powers and the knowhow to make people simply disappear.
What professional undercover agen would be so stupid as to send a nerve agent gift wrapped to a birthday dinner where it would be opened in a public place. It's almost as if the perpetrators wanted to make the hit look like a false flag incident. And there are plenty of operators that might hopoe to gain from increasing east / west tensions.
In her address the House of Commons, May admitted that the investigation has yet to come to any conclusions. “I share the impatience of this House and the country at large to bring those responsible to justice…But as a nation that believes in justice and the rule of law, it is essential that we proceed in the right way – led not by speculation but by the evidence,” she said.
May's accusations come across as restrained when compared to some of the British MPs', who had no scruples about pointing the finger at Russia, calling the incident “a warlike act.”
Will Theresa May punish Russia over double-agent poisoning, despite no proof?
“There are a lot of Labour and Conservative MPs who have already decided that Russia was responsible, even though the evidence has not been brought forward,” McCauley said, adding that they see it as a “great political ballgame when they kick Russia around.”
McCauley said politicians see the blame-the-Russians game as a convenient pretext to score political points without any risk, albeit without much sense either.
With MPs calling Russia names and demanding a range of sanctions, NATO retaliation and a ban on Russia Today broadcasting in the UK, it’s still up to the UK government to decide what measures to take, Dr McCormack noted. Asserting that she doesn’t believe May will back down from her initial allegations against Russia, she theorized that “what will happen will be sanctions, some diplomatic expulsions.”
One possible response floated by MPs was a boycott of the World Cup in Russia by the England national football team. While the topic was not raised personally by May, if it turns out to be the case, such a decision will go down in history as, arguably, the most unpopular one ever taken by an incumbent PM, “apart from Brexit delay,” Jon Gaunt said.

May The Second Coming Of Maggie? Maybe Not
On being imposed on Britain as our Prime Minister in a disgustingly undemocratic establishment stitch up, Teresa May has quickly acquired the nickname Maggie May because some people hope, and others fear she will become a a reincarnation of Maggie Thatcher. We're stuck with her now however, so there's not much we can do except hope things turn out for the best ans celebrate her name with a song. Not the classic Rod Stewart rocker Maggie May, but the folk song that celebrates a legendary Liverpool prostitute.
Even that has two versions of course, the one recorded by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles when they were in a folk group, The Quarrymen (John is singing in the video), The Spinners and many others, (get a version of the respectable lyric here) and the one sung in the locker rooms of Rugby and football clubs and on stag or hen night parties. Guess which one is my favourite.
I should explain for younger readers that the drawers referred to are old fashioned underwear secured by a drawstring and popular until the twentieth century when elastic became available cheaply.
Maggie May (The old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore)
Oh Maggie Maggie May
they have taken her away
and she'll never walk down Lime Street any more
On the night that Maggie died
she called me to her side
and gave to me her old red flannel drawers
They were full of lice and fleas
and they came down to her knees
The old red flannel drawers than Maggie wore
They were tattered, they were torn,
'Round the arse end they were worn.
Those old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore.
We hung them on the line
and the sun refused to shine
on the old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore
So we buried them in the ground
And no grass would grow around
The old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore
When we threw them in the bin
They rats threw them back again
Those old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore.
When we buried them in the ground
no grass would grow around
the old red flannel draws that Maggie wore
When we threw them on a fire
They stunk like burning an old tyre,
The old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore,
As the smoke rose from the flames,
it brought down a dozen planes,
Oh Maggie's old red knickers won the war.
When we dumped them in a bin
the rats threw them out again
The old red flannel drawer that Maggie wore
So we threw them in the sea
and the crabs all swam away
from the old red flannel drawers that Maggie wore
