Does Trump's Crazy Rhetoric Suggest He Plans To Nuke Iran?

American President Donald Trump inexplicably gambled the future of the world and his own political legacy on achieving regime change in Iran. From last summer's first shouts in the campaign to replace the theocratic regime this blog warned that Iran was not some third world failed state which could easily be rolled over. 

Now Trump's Iran gamble, which was always a risky bet, is poised on a knife edge, the Iranian's have so far given as good as they get in terms of air and drone strikes, have invoked asymmetric warfare by weaponising the Strait of Hormuz through which, when shipping can move freely through it, approximately a quarter of the worlds oil, natural gas and petroleum products are distributed.. 

At first, in the opening days of the current round of hostilities most conservative opinion in the USA was behind Trump but currently, five weeks into the war, it is getting harder to find commentators who are backing him to the hilt. Even some of his more usually supportive backers are getting cold feet. Andrew Day in American Conservative is worried that Trump might use nukes in Iran:

A new rhetorical theme emerged last week, when Trump threatened to bomb Iran “back to the Stone Ages”. The phrase is associated with Curtis LeMay, who served as Air Force chief of staff during the Vietnam war. LeMay is known for something else too: his promotion of nuclear weapons and complaint that Americans had a “phobia” of using them.

Trump doesn’t seem to share that deranged perspective, but nuclear anxieties are growing thanks to his belligerence. Two weeks ago, a United Nations representative resigned from his post and leaked the disturbing information that “the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran”. Days earlier, officials from the World Health Organisation told Politico they were worried about a possible nuclear attack.

If Trump decides to go further and actually push the big red button, at least one of his main advisors likely wouldn’t object. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has echoed Trump’s threat to send Iran back to the Stone Age, and he says US armed forces should aim for “maximum lethality, not tepid legality”. 

As Trump's threats and claims have become crazier day by day it looks as if nuclear is on the agenda. Many American commentators think there is a strong likelihood the US will use a nuclear weapon. Who is going to object? America's NATO allies in the UK and Europe have surrendered the right to do that because of the way they hve distanced themselves from the whole escapade. Russia and China are Iran's allies but it is unlikely they would risk all out war with The USA over Iran. Both would probably instigate moves to have America censured by theUnited Nations and then take a PR advantage of the situation since their leadership is not crazy like ours is (in the US). 

There is no certainty that the Iranians, like the Japanese will surrender should the US use a weapon of mass destruction, more likely they would retreat and allow a US occupation and then wage guerilla warfare for years, knowing that the American public do not like US soldiers returning home in body bags. 

Will there be someone in the US government able to stop such a thing? We shall see. This is an existential struggle for Iran but also for the American global hegemony. If the US allows Iran to win that would be the beginning of the end of the Petrodollar Empire as many are predicting.

Game Changer US Tank Was Taken Down And Torched By A Cheap Russian Drone

This report is based on Russian sources as no other information is available. Destruction of the Abrams tank is verified but other details cannot be confirmed from independent sources.

 The headline making news from Ukraine this week was the destruction of a US made Abrams M1 Tank, hyped as an invincible front line weapon and a game changer in the was between Ukraine and Russia, was destroyed only days after entering service.



Picture: Daily Mail. It is not known if this is the actual tank destroyed by the drone because information from both sides in bthe war has always been unreliable.

Details of how the 73 ton juggernaut, which cost US taxpayers about $10 million when support costs are factored in,) was wrecked revealed in an interview with the commander of Russia’s 15th Guards “Alexandria” Brigade, the unit that destroyed the US-made tank, one of a batch of 31 given by the Biden Administration to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The commander, identified only by his callsign “Kolovrat,” claimed that information about the Abrams tank being used close to the front line first appeared on February 19. The commander disclosed that the weapon which destroyed the supposedly indestructible tank was a low-cost Piranha FPV drone manufactured in the Russian city of Ulyanovsk and equipped with a PG-7L high-explosive anti-tank rocket. The drone had also been slightly modified by the front-line troops, Kolovrat claimed. Commenting om his men’s feelings upon learning that they had successfully taken out their first Abrams, Kolovrat said he was proud of his unit and that he believed it was crucial that individuals who were “doing different things in their civilian lives” be able to cooperate so effectively and achieve such an amazing feat. Asked what he would like to say to the American taxpayers who funded the construction of this ruined tank, Kolovrat stated that he hopes they will see how the Abrams wreck is restored so that Russian kids can play on it and “trample this American foe.” Regarding his and his men’s future intentions, the leader assured them that this triumph would be “far from the last.” MORE POSTS ON THE WAR

About six and a half years ago, the UK’s Daily Mail had an interesting story that said Russia claims to have developed a mobile secret “Super Weapon” that could defeat satellites and enemy weapons.  “Its Russian makers say it is a 'fundamentally new electronic warfare system' which can be mounted on ground-based as well as air- and sea-borne carriers”  they said and noted that their Krasuha-4 system is supposed to be capable of suppressing cruise missiles guidance systems, other weapons guidance systems and other satellite-electronic equipment.  Tass reported that “KRET Deputy CEO Yuri Mayevsky told TASS on Thursday …"The system will target the enemy’s deck-based, tactical, long-range and strategic aircraft, electronic means and suppress foreign military satellites’ radio-electronic equipment….KRET Deputy CEO Yuri Mayevsky told TASS on Thursday.….It will actually switch off enemy weapons.”



The photo above appears to be an array of UHF or higher frequency antennas.  The above Daily Mail article quotes the manufacturer as saying that “'Complex 'Krasuha-4' fully covers an object from radar detection at 150-300 kilometers, and may also cause damage to enemy radar electronic warfare and communications systems. 

'The complex functioning is based on creating powerful jamming at the fundamental radar frequencies and other radio-emitting sources.' ”

To me, that sounds like something far more than the usual jamming systems that they have used in the past, such as the infamous “woodpecker” (woodpecker is a HAARP type project) to jam shortwave broadcasts, and other frequency denial attacks.  You can hear it in this short YT clip.  Although Russia historically has the reputation of grandiose claims without the ability to actually accomplish those claims, that is Russia in the old USSR guise and not the new Russian Federation that we are now speaking of.  These guys have shown that they may be able to deliver on those claims.   Remember back when Reagan started the Strategic Defense Initiative, also known as “Star Wars”?  The Soviet Union declared they could neutralize it easily without even knowing for sure what it was.  Parts of it were anti-ballistic missile missiles (ABM) to knock down Russian ICBM’s while in the upper portions of the arc they take from launch to target, but there were also high energy ‘beams’, particle beams and lasers, involved.  Now whether they were real or just hype, the propaganda war at that time was intense, we aren’t sure.  While we were claiming we could use high energy systems to take out Russian missiles, they were claiming they could use them to neutralize our defensive systems with high energy systems of their own.

US Investigating 'Havana Syndrome' Directed Energy Attack Near White House

Since 2017 controversy and speculation has abounded over the legitimacy of the so-called "Havana syndrome" story, which involved some 50 diplomatic officials working at the US Embassy in Cuba coming down with strange illnesses and symptoms - from headaches to vomiting to 'brain trauma' - which was blamed on high tech covert 'sonic attacks' by nefarious actors. Doubts Raised About Salisbury Nerve Agent Attack. UK Government Narrative Questioned

Since Teresa May stupidly decided to pick a fight with Russia over the alleged Kremlin sanctioned murder of Sergei Skripal, a former Russian spy who while spying for his homeland on Britain was also passing Russian secrets to MI5, the governments "It's the Russians" narrative has started to look more motheaten than a one armed piano players dinner jacket.


Not only was Skripal a double agent, since being released from prison in 2010 as part of a spy swap with the USA, the former spy has been involved in commercial espionage and was named as a person of interests in the Democrats Dodgy Dossier compiled in an effort to smear Trump in the 2016 US presidential election. People like him tend to have a lot of enemies (including, possibly, President Trump - how bizarre the loony left have not yet tried to implicate him in the attack.


There is something rather strange about the desperate bid to blame Russia, (apart from the fact that the media kerfuffle has kept two major stories off the front pages throughout this month;), it ignores a historic event that took place last November, also largely ignored at the time by most of the world’s media. Had the Salisbury attack not brought chemical weapons to the top of the news it might have remained ignored. In a ceremony at the headquarters of the world body responsible for the elimination of chemical weapons in The Hague, a plaque was unveiled to commemorate the destruction of the last of Russia’s stockpiles.


Gen Ahmet Üzümcü, the director general of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), which works closely with the UN, was fulsome in his praise. “This is a major achievement,” he said. The 192-member body had seemingly overseen and verified the destruction of Russia’s entire stock of chemical weapons, all 39,967 metric tons.


The question now is whether all thne Russia government kept back any nasty stuff on the offchange that they might need to set up a clumsy and inept hit on a former spy. Theresa May – having identified the nerve agent used in the Salisbury attack as novichok, developed in Russia – told the Commons on Wednesday that Russia had offered no explanation as to why it had “an undeclared chemical weapons programme in contravention of international law”. Jeremy Corbyn introduced a sceptical note, questioning whether there was any evidence as to the location of its production. Corbyn is right, NATO and the USA are so desperate to pick a fight with Russia they have abandoned logic and reason.


The exchanges between May and Corbyn provoked a debate echoing the one that preceded the 2003 invasion of Iraq over whether UN weapons inspectors had overseen the destruction of all the weapons of mass destruction in the country or whether Saddam Hussein had retained secret hidden caches.


On social media, there were arguments that the novichok could have come from some part of the former Soviet Union other than Russia, such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan or Ukraine, or some non-state group, maybe criminals.' What has not been mentioned is that the hit was so ineptly carried out that it could not have been made to look more obviously like a CIA setup if it had been scripted by a Hollywood screen writer. We might expect such incompetence from the CIA or even MI5 but not the Russian secret service, The are masdters at offing people and leaving no evidence poiting to them.


A more detailed report in The Guardian. Left wing loonys who read that left wing paper tend to dismiss The Daily Stirrer contributors as a bunch of ancient, extreme right wing, racist, homophobic, misogynistic fascists. But wheras we are quite willing to agree with The Guardian or Jeremy Corbyn when we believe they are telling the true story,they would never accept that The Daily Mail or Boris Johnson might sometimes be correct. And in this case it seems they are, the absence of evidence to back up Teresa May's accusations makes her look as stupid as Barack Obama when he claimed he had irrefutable evidence that Vladimir Putin was directly involved in the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, before emergency crews had had time to examine the wreckage.

Will The New Seaborne Laser Weapon System Tip The balance Of Military Power Back Towards America.

If you believe what you read or see from mainstream media, you will now be rejoicing or quaking in your boots at the latest press releases from The Pentagon. For some years defence analysts have been warning that US politicians, media commentators and devotees of the idea of American exceptionalism were deluding themselves in clinging to their faith in the superiority of US military technology to deter challenges from rival powers to American geopolitical dominance.

The Defense Department in Washington have recently announced that their latest weapon, a seaborne laser cannon is close to being ready for operational use. Press releases hint that the laser weapon will be a game changer. Unfortunately Iran, an ally of Russia and China, lead the world in this area of technology and if Iran has it you can bet Russia and China do to, or at least they have a deal with Iran to make the weapons available to them if needed.




US Navy has started operational tests of what they claim is the world's first drone-killing laser which is reportedly able to move at the speed of light and to be 'more precise than a bullet'. Laser weapons, which have been in development for decades, project a tight beam of directed photons (light) that strike their target almost instantaneously. In tests energy released at light frequencies from the weapon downed a target drone by setting its wing on fire.

The beam is silent and because it operates at a frequency above the visible light range is not visible to the human eye. The Laser Weapons System (LaWS) has its own generator and uses no solid ammunition. Said to be highly accurate, it is expected to be very effective when used against small, speedy targets, including incoming rockets, small drones and artillery shells.
The cost is said to be "about a dollar a shot" (not counting the billions of dollars spent on development.

 The 30-kilowatt laser weapon has been installed on the USS Ponce, currently deployed in the Persian Gulf. It is predicted to be fully operational by 2020. A full-power hundred-kilowatt Free Electron Laser is slated for testing in 2018, and will probably be installed on the Navy’s new Zumwalt-class stealth destroyers. The Navy plans to create 150 kilowatts lasers in more distant future.

According to what the media is telling us, the US has made a great leap forward in the race to acquire a death ray superweapon, which will give the military a critical advantage over any potential enemy in the world.

The announcement and the tests, which Russia, China and other emerging powers such as India and Pakistan as well as NATO allies will now be watching, testify to the US Navy's having achieved some progress in developing a small-scale laser weapon system capable of striking small targets at limited ranges. What is lacking is an objective review. As mainstream media are these days little more than a propaganda arm of government, I will just have to give it my best shot and hope my engineering experience is up to the task.

Abilities and limitations of Laser Weapons Systems.

Directed energy weapons, including lasers and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) weapons are still in their infancy. While EMP weapons offer the potential of being effective if fired from great distances, the maximum range of lasers is limited as laser energy is relatively quickly diffused in the atmosphere, indeed adverse atmospheric conditions such as dust, snow or heavy rain, smoke or fog can render them ineffective. Atmospheric absorption, scattering, and turbulence will all prevent shipboard lasers from being effective all weather weapons.

A laser beam does not instantly burn through denser materials such as metals. The time needed to inflict a level of damage that would disable a large airborne vehicle or heavy projectile is unfeasible when the target is moving at flight speeds. With no explosive impact, a laser could fail to stop the target. In theory, laser weapons are best used for defensive operations, but better defensive weapons are already available.

The LaWS has a very limited operational range – one to three km. Modern warships would not need to go that close to a US ship equipped with this system in order to disable it. Lasers are no substitute for anti - aircraft guns or surface to air missiles. They cannot be used as primary strike weapons due to the poor range.

The operator of a laser weapon may be hampered by movement of the target, movement of the firing platform, decoys or multiple war warheads that have already been developed and that the enemy may use. Countermeasures to laser guidance also include laser detection systems, smoke screen and anti-laser active protection systems. Coating materials that can absorb or reflect laser energy are also available according to military publications.

Are the claims of laser weapons' low cost justified? Getting off a blast of laser energy may well cost only a dollar, but a laser’s sophisticated optical guidance system and focusing lenses are not cheap. The weapon is fast from firing to striking, but a target must be designated and a complex procedure carried out to  ensure accuracy. Mainstram media may suggest it is as easy as firing a water pistol, but it does take a few seconds, precious seconds that might not be available in a conflict situation.. So, it is not exactly “the speed of light”. Apart from that, seaborne laser weapons will be installed on a platform vulnerable to precision-guided weapons.

 With all the limitations mentioned above, the weapon will not likely be ready for prime time anytime soon.
Hype aside, The USS Ponce had this weapon for quite some time as is evident from the rust which can be seen forming on the mounting brackets when the publicity video does a closeup.

The other issue with laser weapons not mentioned in this article, however, (probably not extremely significant for this shorter range, short burst drone killer) is the phenomenon of "thermal blooming" prevelant in IR wavelength weapons. The laser heats the air around the beam, resulting in "lensing" due to refraction in the lower density heated air adjacent to the circumference of the beam . The beam expands ("blooms" ), resulting in a lower energy flux (energy per unit area) which decreases the effectiveness of the weapon. This is/was(?) a significant issue in use of CO2 and other IR lasers used for long range high energy shots.

All in all then, this announcement appears to be little more than military bluster as The Pentagon, the US Defense Department and the American exceptionalism brigade resist having to come to terms with the fact that Assad, with help from Russia and Iran, has won the Syrian civil war against the US and Saudi Arabian backed Islamic extremists of ISIS ans Al Nusra front.

Obama authorizes SLAVE LABOR on a large scale on American soil



President Obama, grinning like a loon on happy dust no doubt, recently signed an executive order which for the first time since the American Civil War allows for the use of slave labor on a large scale, on American soil. Americans who have been targeted for FEMA camp detention, most will voluntarily enter a state of enslavement in order to avoid starvation for both them and their families.

The following excepts from EO 13603 will be enacted (source: Investment Watch).

Third world population control, using food as one of the primary weapons, has long been a matter of official covert US national policy and a portion of President Obama’s Executive Order (EO 13603) is a continuation of that policy. Americans will be the new third world and your food will be withheld in order to enforce compliance with the planned slave labor in support of the WW III production needs.

Most Americans will report for duty on a voluntary basis in order to avoid starvation.

Duty for what? A slave labor force?

According to Executive Order 13603, the President, or heads of federal agencies designated by the president will be empowered to conscript "persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation," in both "peacetime and times of national emergency." I can hear the Obama supporters now will say, "Obama would never do that, he's black and therefore genetically incapable of doing anything bad." Well he would coz he did, and you can read it for yourself here or by following the link at the end to The White House official web site.

Sec. 502. Consultants. The head of each agency otherwise delegated functions under this order is delegated the authority of the President under sections 710(b) and (c) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2160(b), (c), to employ persons of outstanding experience and ability without compensation and to employ experts, consultants, or organizations. The authority delegated by this section may not be redelegated.

This means that Obama, and his fellow communists, can seize any resource, property, or person at any time for any reason, including being able to force that person to perform assigned labor without being paid.

There is only ONE word for forced, “uncompensated employment”. That word is slavery. Congratulations to President Obama, he has effectively repealed the 13th Amendment to the Constitution.

Section 601 of the act specifies, in part, how far the government can go in terms of making you their slave.

Sec. 601. Secretary of Labor. (a) The Secretary of Labor, in coordination with the Secretary of Defense and the heads of other agencies, as deemed appropriate by the Secretary of Labor, shall:

(1) collect and maintain data necessary to make a continuing appraisal of the Nation’s workforce needs for purposes of national defense;

(2) upon request by the Director of Selective Service, and in coordination with the Secretary of Defense, assist the Director of Selective Service in development of policies regulating the induction and deferment of persons for duty in the armed services;

(3) upon request from the head of an agency with authority under this order, consult with that agency with respect to: (i) the effect of contemplated actions on labor demand and utilization; (ii) the relation of labor demand to materials and facilities requirements; and (iii) such other matters as will assist in making the exercise of priority and allocations functions consistent with effective utilization and distribution of labor;

(4) upon request from the head of an agency with authority under this order: (i) formulate plans, programs, and policies for meeting the labor requirements of actions to be taken for national defense purposes; and

(ii) estimate training needs to help address national defense requirements and promote necessary and appropriate training programs.
