New WHO Charter Could Create A Global Authoritarian Regime In The Name Of Health

 

When it was established in 1948, under the auspices of the newly minted United Nations, the purpose of The World Health Organization (WHO) was that it would act as an advisory body in international health matters. Since 2005 however, the WHO has, through the implementation of International Health Regulations (IHR) as the main compliance tool to ensure that public health emergencies would be handled swiftly, established itself as a supra - national political entity. The COVID pandemic perfectly illustrates how powerful the WHO already is in geopolitics. And it is set to become even more powerful.

A new set of amendments (pdf) to the WHO, proposed by the bureaucrats who represent national governments, was published at the end of 2022, with the aim of increasing the WHO’s power under the guise of the IHR. This, in addition to a newly proposed Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) (pdf) and the addition of a pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response treaty, raises several red flags on the changing role of the WHO , from international health advisory body to becoming a global regime using 'public health' as a cover for superseding the sovereignty of elected governments.

Related to these far reaching measures, the WHO has published a number of amendments to the IHR that will strengthen the it’s power considerably pertaining to global health emergencies. For example, the WHO will have the power to act upon potential rather than actual emergencies, and allow the director-general of the WHO control over the production of medication that may be allocated as he or she deems fit.

Corporate War On Individual Freedom

Throughout history, people have relied on connections within their community friends, family, and neighbors to maintain a healthy social life and the wise woman, shaman, priest or order of monks and nuns for medicinal support. Social connections are important not only for physical and mental  wellness but also for building the trust upon which the foundation of relationships lies. We trust our family, friends, neighbours and so will take their word that somebody offering health support is genuine. Just as trust is vital in relationships with family and friends, in regard to health, it is vital in patient-doctor relationships.

Doctors across many countries and diverse regions have a plethora of different methods to treat something as simple as a cold. Some may give you a flu shot, some may prescribe you some minor medication, and some might even tell you to drink hot soup and get lots of rest. There may also be an unfamiliar remedy from Latin America or Southeast Asia that works just as well as something you could pick up in a European or American. pharmacy. .

The one-on-one patient-doctor relationship has traditionally been the tried-and-true way to establish a health system in any society. Even the current over - used 'evidence-based medicine,' advice from the European Medicines Agency, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), UK National Health Service and other health agencies serves as nonbinding recommendations to doctors that give them the right to make their own decisions based on their knowledge of the patient. The bond of  trust between doctors and patients has always been considered incorruptible and demands that doctors practice medicine grounded in ethics and based on genuine medical knowledge, skills, and experience—all things that most doctors still have.

Recently however that bond has been shattered by numerous scandals culminating in the ridiculously hyped COVID-19 pandemic and the mRNA non - vaccines that were allowed to sidestep all safety and ethical oversights in the rush to inject the world with a formula that was never going to make people immune to a relatively minor infection with an infection to fatality rate similar to that of any year's seasonal 'flu. 

Drug and vaccine makes, member of the Big Pharma cartel, powerful health agencies headed by nelected bureaucrats, and health insurance enterprises linked to the banking and finance community are all intertwined, forming a tremendous conglomerate of power. In the name of protecting the people, this manifestation of power has reached an unprecedented level, which was on full display during the pandemic in the form of lockdowns, mandates, the rush of drugs and vaccines, insurance policies determining diagnosis, etc. The doctor / patient personal relationship has been totally corrupted by corporate money and political power.

All of this is apparent in the latest latest proposed reforms to the role and powers of the WHO which should raise serious concerns over whether the WHO is turning into a global quasi-regime.

The newest changes to the WHO's constitution are amendments to the International Health Regulations agreement. The World Health Assembly first adopted the IHR in 1969 to cover six diseases and it has since been revised several times.The amendments to IHR will demand WHO member nations detect, assess, report, and respond appropriately in regard to public health emergencies that can spread on an international scale. During the COVID-19 pandemic, especially during its onset, China demonstrated an aptitude for disinformation and a lack of transparency toward the international community with regard to sharing data, allowing a probe into the origins of the virus, and issues involving the most recent unprecedented spike of infections and death after the country lifted its zero-COVID restrictions.

How in hell's name any sane person could think tinkering with regulations will change the behaviour of nations like China, Russia, Iran, Turkey or North Korea (and that's just the usual suspects,) is a mystery. but then when dealing with bureaucrats, sanity to too much to hope for.

One of the major concerns raised by people who have seen early drafts of the amendments is that the WHO is giving itself the authority to override health measure decisions made by individual nations and grant the organization the capacity to censor what it considers misinformation and disinformation, should the amendments be adopted. This is a serious threat to the sovereignty of every WHO member and, given the lies we have been sold throughout the three years of the COVID fiasco, the safety of every individual living in WHO member states.

At the same time, the WHO’s new amendments change the advisory nature of the IHR to that of law, meaning that the organization will hold just as much power—if not more—as the state legeislature of any mmber state's elected government with legally binding jurisdiction and enforcement capabilities.

These fears are even more worrying because the amendments are vague in nature and leave much room for interpretation. For example, the amendments do not specify the amount of funding countries need to contribute, which could lead to an escalation of corruption in underdeveloped countries.

Another astounding change in the proposal is the removal of “respect for the dignity, human rights, and fundamental freedoms of persons” in Article 3 of the IHR, being replaced with the meaningless terms “equity” and “inclusivity.” Echoes there of demented Joe Biden's idiotic exhortation to Americans to get the vaccine, "Nobody is safe until we re all safe," indicating that the vaccines would not protect against infection, (because of course, if the vaccines worked the vaccinated would have nothing to fear from contact with an unvaccinated person.)

ONS Admits Vaccine Effectiveness Data Are Flawed

Like buses, you wait over six months for Office for National Statistics (ONS) data and then two publications come along within weeks. On February 21st 2023 it released its deaths by vaccination status data set and on Wednesday it looked at ‘COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness estimated using Census 2021 variables, England: March 31st 2021 to March 20th 2022’.

There has been lots of analysis of the February publication so today I will look at the latest ‘vaccine effectiveness’ data.

But to give you a heads-up, it’s good news – take as many jabs as you can and your life will be extended! We are witnessing the results of a miracle cure. Squirt some in the eyes of a blind man and I wouldn’t be surprised if he could see again.

According to the latest data, vaccine effectiveness against hospitalisation for Covid was 52.2% for one dose, 55.7% for a second dose and 77.6% after your booster.

US Invested in mRNA Vaccines for Decades Pre-Pandemic: Study

In the first study to systematically examine the public investments in mRNA vaccines, researchers have found that the U.S. government was substantially invested in mRNA vaccine technology before the COVID pandemic.

Published in the British Medical Journal on March 1, the study found that the government invested $31.9 billion in mRNA vaccines and technologies between 1985 and 2022, of which at least $337 million was invested pre-pandemic.

The government also paid $31.6 billion during the pandemic for vaccine research, production, and vaccines for all Americans, as well as for global donations.

The vast pool of funding has netted Moderna and Pfizer over $100 billion in revenue from sales of COVID-19 vaccines since their launch, an amount 20 times greater than the total budget of the World Health Organization (WHO) for 2020-21.

Altogether, the researchers identified 34 National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants that were directly related to mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

They also identified contracts issued by the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) and the Department of Defense.

“[This is] the largest public investment for a disease ever,” Hussain Lalani, a fellow at Harvard Medical School and lead author of the study said.

COVID ‘Not Deadly Enough’ To Justify Risk Of Fast-track Vaccines, Chris Whitty Told Government

The Chief Medical Officer, Chris Whitty, told the government that COVID is not deadly enough to justify the risk of fast-track vaccines. COVID-19 was not dangerous enough to justify cutting short vaccine trials as the vaccine had to be “very safe”, Chris Whitty advised the Government in the early weeks of the outbreak, it has emerged. Writing on WhatsApp on February 29th 2020, the Chief Medical Officer told Government figures: “For a disease with a low (for the sake of argument 1%) mortality a vaccine has to be very safe so the safety studies can’t be shortcut. So important for the long run.” The estimate of 1% turned out to be an overestimate, as the infection fatality rate in Europe and the Americas was found to be 0.3-0.4%. Chief Scientist Patrick Vallance agreed with this advice and wrote that existing drugs should be relied on instead: “Agree, existing drugs best things to try for this outbreak. Perhaps it is a play to get special treatment and special protection under victim group status.

Becoming trans is, after all, the easiest way for an otherwise straight white person to climb to the top of the oppression totem pole.  And in a world where being a victim is a currency, that’s a highly valuable option.

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken reported this weekend that China could be on the verge of providing “lethal” support to Russia. In comments to CBS, Blinken said that such aid would cause a “very serious problem” between the U.S. and China. If China provided arms, it would still not overcome serious problems in the Russian military, and Beijing would directly position itself as an adversary of the West.

Appearing on Face the Nation, Blinken asserted that China has already provided “non-lethal support” to Russia 's military campaign in Ukraine. The aid was provided by Chinese companies, but as Blinken noted, “there’s really no distinction between private companies and the state in China, the concern that we have now is based on information from our intelligence services is that they’re considering providing lethal support.”

A White House spokesperson added that if weapons and ammunition are supplied by China for use against Ukraine, "The west will punish China accordingly."

This same 'west' as is going to punish China if it crosses the wobbly and constantly changing redline drawn by Joe Biden (with wife Jill guiding his hand of course,) has over the past twenty five years been infiltrated by the Chinese at all levels. Starting with the offshoring of a majority of our manufacturing industry as political leaders fell over themselves to pander to the communists and misantropes of the Green lobby, we also exported our advanced technology and know-how there. And at the same time China accrued vast amounts of US, EU and UK debt buy buying the treasury bonds that were issued will nilly to fund ridiculously generous welfare and foreign aid policies impemented by virtue signalling left wing politicians.

This punishment on China is to be delivered by the same west that did and does nothing as China builds a worldwide empire (even under the nose of the US in Middle America and Caribbean ) gaining military control step by step over all major shipment routes (ever thought of a Chinese military base at the Falklands just as in Djibouti or Sri Lanka and others), has bought up most of the world's major mines and so on. The west is not even capable of enhancing production of one sort of ammunition  for a war which has lasted a year now. It needs a half a year to organise itself get the heavy battle tanks pledged to Ukraine out of their depots and then half another year until they are refitted for usage:

How successful does anyone think 'the west' can be in punishing China, even in the USA, NATO members and outlying farmsteads like Australia and Japan can get thir arses in gear and actually agre on what to do? 

And should they ever be in a state of readiness to act, they need to be minful of the fact that China is not Russia, and that Russia, so far, has been very restrained in its war in Ukraine. If Moscow had adopted NATO tactics for overthrowing governments it does not like, carpet bombing, use of depleted uranium shells, shock and awe bombardments etc. the only reason that Ukraine would not have been reduced to a bankrupt, corrupt, lawless failed state like Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya by now is that it had been a bankrupt, corrupt, lawless failed state since the US led coup of 2014 replaced a democratically elected government with a pro - western, neo - Nazi regime.

Heat Pumps Leave Some Homes So Cold People Are Ripping Them Out Yet The Government Still Plan To Replace Gas Boilers With Them

 

When the government announced under Boris Johnson that a major part of its 'net zero' policy would be to urge, bribe,coerce or bully home owners to  replace their efficient and reliable gas boilers with the loonytoons technology of heat pumps to provide domestic heating and hot water this blog, with as its main contributors an engineer, an accountant and a systems consultant, were not impressed. There is nothing wrong with heat pump technology, it has been around for over 100 years, but as the main provider of domestic heating in Britain's climate, it is a non starter.

As with all aspects of the 'net zero' fantasy however, all they hype about heat pumps saving the planet by generating heat to warm houses and water from nothing is just another case of infantile scientists becoming obsessed with a new toy and stupid politicians blindly following The Science. Heat pumps do work but they use far more energy than they produce. The technology is fascinating to be sure, even more so to those who really understand it, like our engineer Xavier Connolly, who writes on science and technology. But as he says, being technically interesting and being economically viable are different things.

It is not just us mavericks in alt_media that question 'The Science' on this, an article this is money questioning heat pumps and the Government's £450 million scheme to convince people to install, at enormous expense o themselves, the supposedly eco-friendly boiler alternatives has excited a lot of discussion.

The government's Boiler Upgrade Scheme, launched in May 2022, offerd grants of up to £6,000 if homeowners were prepared to rip out their gas boilers and install an air or ground source heat pumps. Take up has been very poor, partly perhaps because half of Britain's 30 million homes are not suitable for installing a heat pump. Though reliable data is hard to find among all the propaganda praising heat pumps as the best thing since sliced bread (but as we all know, most sliced bread is cheap shite that turns to wet cotton wool in your mouth,) we learned that at the end of February 2023 only 14,000 applications for heat pump grants had been received. And though we cannot confirm it, an unofficial report estimates half of those did no through with the change.

Other reports reveal homeowners who have bought homes with heat pumps already installed - or purchased new builds where pumps were part of the package - have told us about a litany of problems associated with the technology. 

This is despite their overwhelming, byt misguided, desire to do their bit to save the planet from self-destruction. Many have become so frustrated with their heat pump's inability to provide heat when it is needed most, in the brutally cold spells we have experiences in the winter of 2022/23 they have had them removed — or installed additional heating systems to step in when the pumps don't generate enough heat.

Some critics of thus Net Zero folly believe the Government is now in danger of committing a misselling scandal to match that of the promotion of diesel cars in the early 2000s by the Labour government — even though it had been known since the 1950s that diesel fuel contains pollutants harmful to health.

One engineer told us: 'The nationwide promotion of heat pumps as replacements for gas boilers needs to be challenged. Not just economically, but also on availability, reliability and functionality issues. It could easily turn out to be the next major government misselling scandal.'

In defence of heat pumps, both users and installers say they perform well during certain times of the year — spring, summer and autumn (in other words, when they are least needed) — and are good for the environment.

They can also be quiet when new or if only low levels of power are required. But these advantages are outweighed by the negatives.

Heat pumps, typically installed outside at the back or side of a house, perform poorly in cold winter weather, especially if a home is inadequately insulated or the radiators are not big enough to give off sufficient heat.

Furthermore, when running at full power in winter or if key components (fan bearings for example) are suffering from wear and tear, the pumps can be noisy. Repairs are also expensive while the pumps are quite complex to operate.

Peter Taylor, from Cheltenham, in Gloucestershire, is one heat pump owner who has not been impressed with the wonders of this technology. Peter, a retired electronics engineer, inherited two air source heat pumps when he bought his current property nine years ago. In autumn last year, he decided to install a new oil heating system — not to replace the heat pumps, but to kick in during the winter when the pumps don't work efficiently. He is delighted he took the step. 

Peter says: 'Air source heat pumps are useless when the outside air is between –1C and 3C — and the conditions are foggy and humid. They cause the outside fan unit to repeatedly ice up, resulting in insufficient hot water to heat the house.'

The design of these pumps, he says, is 'fundamentally flawed' and their promotion through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme a 'potential misselling scandal'.

Christine and Alan Holland, from Hungerford in Berkshire, have gone down the same route, installing wood burning stoves to complement the two heat pumps in their Georgian home. 

'It is impossible to get the pumps to provide us with heat up to 20C, without them running 24 hours, seven days a week,' says 76-year-old Christine. 'Their cost then became unaffordable.'

With the stoves now in operation, Christine says they are 'cosy again'. 'My view,' she adds, 'is that heat pumps are only suitable for small new build properties that are fitted out with the very best insulation.'

Chris Wiggin got rid of the heat pump in his home four years ago —and he doesn't regret it for one minute. Chris, a 79-year-old retired engineer, bought his four-bedroom bungalow near Bishops Cleeve in Gloucestershire five years ago.

It came with a heat pump. But he soon realised the pump could not heat the radiators beyond lukewarm. He spent most of the autumn of 2018 'freezing' in the home he shares with wife Linda.

'I had a choice,' he says. 'I could replace the radiators with larger ones, or install underfloor heating.' But he chose neither, instead opting for a gas boiler.

With the Government determined to ban the installation of new gas boilers from 2035, Chris says it has a lot of work to do if it wants to convince the general public of the merits of heat pumps.

'I can see heat pumps being a damp squib,' he opines.

The final word goes to Dilys Lownsborough, a retired fashion designer, who bought a West Sussex new-build property seven years ago with an air source pump located at the back.

Dilys had countless problems with the unit as a result of it breaking down. Three years ago, she had it removed.

Yesterday, she told Money Mail: 'There will be people out there who think heat pumps are wonderful but I don't like tepid baths or showers — and I prefer being kept warm when a gale is blowing outside.My advice is simple: Don't be seduced by all the hype. Avoid heat pumps like the plague.'

Others have reported their bills doubled in winter months after installing heat pumps, their houses never got warm, the heat pump broke down more than it worked and they ended up having to fight to get it removed and a gas boiler put in. 

The best advice is to replace your gas boiler a few years before the ban comes in, keep it well maintained and hope it lasts as long as you do.

Leaked WhatsApp Messages On Lockdowns And COVID Restrictions Show Government's Contempt For The Public

 It was inevitable that the truth about the COVID pandemic having been a hoax, an elaborate and well organised exercise in mass manipulation and control must emerge. There have been rumblings for months of course, Big Pharma whistleblowers and research biologists whose well informed opinions were silence by censorship and the howling of the mob are now finding a platform to reveal that they counselled against lockdowns, the fast tracked approvals of improperly tested, experimental vaccines, doctors who lost their jobs for treating COVID with quinine and ivermectin have revealed the pressures that were put on them to comply with the official narrative and public health officials have admitted they were ignored when they warned against social restrictions.

And now the once unsayable 'conspiracy theory' that could land people in jail for speadeing 'misinformation, the story that the virus was man made and leaked from a biolweapons laboratory in Wuhan, China, where scientists funded by the United States Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA,) were working on 'gain-of-function projects to tu rn previously innocuous infective agents into something more deadly is acknowledged to have been true.

But the real killer blow, the proof that the whole episode was never about public health but was entirely political in its motivation, has been the leaking of thousands of Whats App messages exchanged between elected and salaried members of the British government which show the utter contempt in which our political masters hold We The People.

When the story broke in the Telegraph last week that 100,000 WhatsApp messages from Matt Hancock had been leaked (in the public interest,) by a journalist named Isabel Oakeshott, I must admit I was sceptical as is my habit when processing information from mainstream media. Who could look through 100,000 messages involving the former Health Secretary Matt (shagger) Hancock in such a short time without dying of boredom. But Information Technology, when used properly, is a wonderful thing and a keyword search on 100,000 documents would take only seconds.

And boy, were there some juicy bits among the dross.

The spectacle that followed publication, as Isabel Oakeshott was on TV and radio explaining why she had, according to Hancock, breached their agreement. There were endless threads of confusing messages about Covid and Hancock’s campaign of self-promotion,Boris Johnson holding naked orgies in the Downing street garden (OK, I made that bit up,) and a crowd of characters fighting and finger jabbing all over the airwaves. But somewhere in all the accusations and denials the stories and the key threads, began to emerge.

The main thing that strikes one is how dismissively the people who sent those messages talk about the rest us, the general population, the taxpayers who pay the wages of ministers, advisers and senior officials. The tone flips from arrogant, glib, menacing and contemptuous. There is shameless talk of scaring us into compliance with fascistic measures through a campaign of lies and scare srories. There is glee and amusement when people are harassed for trivial breaches of COVID restrictions by over - zealous plod squads who would be nowhere to be seen is real crimes were being committed, or trapped in quarantine hotels, or caught out by the ridiculously draconian and as many experts would have warned had their voices not been silenced by censors, ineffective rules imposed by ministers. It is as though we are naughty children who had to be punished because we distracted our elders and betters from pursuit of their power grabbing agendas. There’s a whiff of Dickens and the 19th century orphanage about the worst of the messages. 

And all the time, in private, they carried on with theireveryday lives, loves and illicit affairs.

 

 

The decisions to shut schools for such long periods, with an obvious impact on the mental health of the young, and the quite mad order to make children wear masks in class, are discussed by some of the participants as though they are a political game, a kind of 'if we can make them do this we can get away with anything attitude. Cabinet ministers who expressed concerns about the impact of the assorted measures are dismissed as ideologues, and dismissed as ministers soon afterwards.

Missing in these monstrous exchanges is parliament or fear of parliament, which is supposed to be our guardian against government overreach and abuse of power. To their eternal shame of MPs, they cravenly allowed the institution to be all but shut down by the state, and replaced with performative Zoom calls. Only a few of our elected representatives objected and demanded oversight.

But then we the public, or a majority, asked for it. The creepy authoritarianism, enforced by propaganda, public information briefings and strict policing, was popular at the time and it still is. His Majesty's Loyal opposition, The Labour Party, far from opposing the government's lurch into fascism instead responded to every oppressive measure by demanding even more stringent oppression. Amazingly recent opinion polls suggested only 19% of voters think the government’s handling of Covid was too strict. Some 37% think it was not strict enough and 34% about right. One shudders to imagine what a more strict and controlling regime would have looked like. Communist China? Nazi Germany? Stalinist Russia?

What should concern us is now the power addicts know how far they can go, what will happen next time, We know there will be more diseases and another pandemic at some point because the billionaire psychopath and self - apponited global vaccine Czar, Bill Gates is openly talking about planning it. Such is the pace of technological change, in computing, data collection and AI that the next time it happens the state will have even more power than the current crop of crooks and liars had. During Covid a majority of the British public liked this life by QR code, mediated (we now know thanks to the leaked WhatsApp messages) by squabbling, out of control politicians who cratered the economy and added hundreds of billions of pounds to the national debt pile, left to be dealt with later by future generations.

The lesson here is surely that MPs and concerned citizens need to act to defend freedom. I have said for years that we should outlaw centrally controlled political parties and corporate donors because it is too easy for such organisations to coerce elected representative to act in the interests of the party and its financial backers rather than in the interests of their constituents. I’m not holding my breath, although perhaps some senior MPs and campaigners will see the need to campaign for freedom and proper parliamentary oversight of the state in the next crisis.
