Amid Latest Attempts To Spin Defeat As Victory, NATO Proaganda Revives Tge Old Yellow Peril Scare

 

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken reported this weekend that China could be on the verge of providing “lethal” support to Russia. In comments to CBS, Blinken said that such aid would cause a “very serious problem” between the U.S. and China. If China provided arms, it would still not overcome serious problems in the Russian military, and Beijing would directly position itself as an adversary of the West.

Appearing on Face the Nation, Blinken asserted that China has already provided “non-lethal support” to Russia 's military campaign in Ukraine. The aid was provided by Chinese companies, but as Blinken noted, “there’s really no distinction between private companies and the state in China, the concern that we have now is based on information from our intelligence services is that they’re considering providing lethal support.”

A White House spokesperson added that if weapons and ammunition are supplied by China for use against Ukraine, "The west will punish China accordingly."

This same 'west' as is going to punish China if it crosses the wobbly and constantly changing redline drawn by Joe Biden (with wife Jill guiding his hand of course,) has over the past twenty five years been infiltrated by the Chinese at all levels. Starting with the offshoring of a majority of our manufacturing industry as political leaders fell over themselves to pander to the communists and misantropes of the Green lobby, we also exported our advanced technology and know-how there. And at the same time China accrued vast amounts of US, EU and UK debt buy buying the treasury bonds that were issued will nilly to fund ridiculously generous welfare and foreign aid policies impemented by virtue signalling left wing politicians.

This punishment on China is to be delivered by the same west that did and does nothing as China builds a worldwide empire (even under the nose of the US in Middle America and Caribbean ) gaining military control step by step over all major shipment routes (ever thought of a Chinese military base at the Falklands just as in Djibouti or Sri Lanka and others), has bought up most of the world's major mines and so on. The west is not even capable of enhancing production of one sort of ammunition  for a war which has lasted a year now. It needs a half a year to organise itself get the heavy battle tanks pledged to Ukraine out of their depots and then half another year until they are refitted for usage:

How successful does anyone think 'the west' can be in punishing China, even in the USA, NATO members and outlying farmsteads like Australia and Japan can get thir arses in gear and actually agre on what to do? 

And should they ever be in a state of readiness to act, they need to be minful of the fact that China is not Russia, and that Russia, so far, has been very restrained in its war in Ukraine. If Moscow had adopted NATO tactics for overthrowing governments it does not like, carpet bombing, use of depleted uranium shells, shock and awe bombardments etc. the only reason that Ukraine would not have been reduced to a bankrupt, corrupt, lawless failed state like Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya by now is that it had been a bankrupt, corrupt, lawless failed state since the US led coup of 2014 replaced a democratically elected government with a pro - western, neo - Nazi regime.

China and Russia Move To Outflank Washington Hawks, Avert War In Asia

Events in recent days have given everybody in the world cause for concern. First it was revealed that renegade state North Korea how has nuclear capability to attack American interests in the Pacific and possible even targets on the US mainland. Then the war of words between the North Koreans and Washington took a nasty turn, opened up the throttle and seemed to be hurtling towards all out war.

Surely this could not be happening, we thought. Had Trump, who during his campaign said he wanted to normalise relations with the eastern block rather than continue along the route to nuclear destruction mapped out by the administrations of Barack Obama and George W Bush been completely outmanoeuvred by the Washington hawks and the Military / Industrial complex lobby? In a word, YES.

While Donald Trump is find how foolish it was to promise he would 'drain the swamp' without having learned how deep the swamp is (our sources say it's bottomless,) it looks like business as usual for the perpetual war party.

Fortunately Russia and China, still subtly waging their currency war against the US dollar have stepped up as they did when Obama was collaborating with ISIS terrorists in his desperation to remove the Assad regime in Syria:

There Is A Russian-Chinese Plan To Defuse Korea Crisis Says Russia's Foreign minister Lavrov

In a glimmer of hope that a military conclusion to the North Korean crisis may yet be averted, Russia's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said that "Russia does not accept a North Korea that possesses nuclear weapons", cautioned that there is an "overwhelming amount of over-the-top belligerent rhetoric on North Korea’s nuclear and rocket programs from Washington and Pyongyang", but most importantly said that there is a joint Russian-Chinese plan to defuse the North Korean crisis, according to which North Korea would freeze its missile tests, while the US and South Korea would stop large scale exercises.

"Russia together with China developed a plan which proposes 'double freezing': Kim Jong-un should freeze nuclear tests and stop launching any types of ballistic missiles, while US and South Korea should freeze large-scale drills which are used as a pretext for the North’s tests."

It was not clear if Russia or China, had floated this plan with the US or S. Korea prior; the most likely answer is no.

Hoping that "common sense will ultimately prevail", Lavrov said that North Korea had once signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) but then withdrew from it. The result is a nuclear-armed N.Korea which Russia refuses to accept: "Now North Korea claims that it has legal rights to make nuclear weapons and has already done so,” he said. “But you know our position: we don’t accept the fact that North Korea could possess nuclear weapons."

He added that both Russia and China have a “range of proposals” aimed at preventing what could become “one of the deepest conflicts” and a “crisis with a big number of casualties.”

Still, Lavrov said that Moscow is worried about Washington's remarks on a preemptive strike on North Korea, and said that Russia is doing its best to prevent this from happening. READ FULL ARTICLE >>>

China Warns Trump: "We Will Prevent A North Korea Regime Change"

The Chinese government today dimissed President Donald Trump’s demands that Beijing do more to rein in its neighbour North Korea, a small, poor country which has been threatening to wage nuclear war on the USA. Following Trump's threat that if the North Korean leader Fat Boy Kim continued to talk of attacking US targets Beijing, through state-owned media, warned the US president that it would intervene militarily on North Korea’s behalf if the US and South Korea launch a preemptive strike to overthrow the North Korean regime, (regime change - usually with disastrous results - being the speciality of Washington's foreign policy makers,) according to a statement in the influential state-run newspaper Global Times.

"If the U.S. and South Korea carry out strikes and try to overthrow the North Korean regime and change the political pattern of the Korean Peninsula, China will prevent them from doing so," it said.

At the same time, the Chinese regime spelled out that its preferred outcome in this crisis would be a continuation of the status quo, warning Kim Jong Un that it would "remain neutral if North Korea were to strike first." The article, cited by Reuters, reiterated calls for a diplomatic solution. However, the possibility of talks between the two sides was looking increasingly remote as both Trump and Kim continued to exchange threats of nuclear annihilation, with Trump clarifying Thursday that his earlier promise to respond with "fire and fury" should the North continue to threaten the US may not have gone far enough.

It seems that after six months in the job, President Trump has not yet learned in foreign policy he cannot just point a short, slender finger at unruly leaders and say, "You're fired."

US Policy Of Containing China in South China Sea Will Destabilise The Region

The Asia-Pacific region is in danger of being destabilised by the growing rivalry between China and the United States as we reported yesterday.

At the opening ceremony of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping said that as long as both the parties resolve differences on the basis of mutual respect and equality, relations between China and the United States can avoid serious complications. It was a typically Chiese veiled warning to the US to stop provoking China.

The president pointed out that major powers having some differences with each other is normal, but at the Asian security summit taking place concurrently in Singapore, US Defense Minister, Ashton Carter, accused China of “expansive and unprecedented action” in the South China Sea.

According to Carter, China’s steps to create artificial areas in some parts of the South China Sea threaten security in the Asia-Pacific region. While US Secretary of Defense acknowledged that other states also engage in such action, however, according to Carter, “Beijing is destabilizing the situation.”

The interaction of two factors, “competition” and “cooperation” in relations between Beijing and Washington is increasing tensions throughout the region.

Sino-US relations are subject to rapidly changing and difficult to predict dynamics of international relations in the region as a whole. The United States is clearly trying to manipulate the situation in the South China Sea region to contain China by strengthening old ties and trying to create new military alliances (and recolonising Philippines according to some regional pundits.)

US attempts to shift regional burden on its allies can only achieve limited results. In terms of military capacity the abilities of Japan, Thailand and other states not allied to Beijing are weak. South Korea spends more on the policy of maneuvering between US and China than it does on defence.

A containment policy to neutralise the threat from China in the foreseeable future will become more of a burden for the United States, given that the Americans have not managed to reduce their involvement in regional security in other regions of the world. In the meantime China, Russia and Iran are operating an economic strategy that is undermining the status of the US dollar as global reserve currency.

In the next few years, the US may be faced with having to make a difficult choice; deciding on whether their presence in the middle east or south east Asia is more advantageous to them.
