People Are Abandoning Mainstream News - Here's Why

 

BBC News today published in its Culture section, an article about the dramatic decrease in the number of people using its channels, those of rival broadcasters, and the print and online editions of traditional nrewspapers as their preferred way of accessing the news. The article presents the findings of resulting from a huge survey which collected the views of 97,943 people.

More and more people are turning away from news, described news content as depressing, repetitive and boring, the study suggests. Almost four in 10 (39%) people in the study, which covered several national communities said they often actively avoid the news, compared with 29% in 2017, according to the report by Oxford University’s Reuters Institute.

Wars in Ukraine and the Middle East may have contributed to people’s desire to switch off the news, the report’s authors said. This is despite there being strong reasons for expecting concerns about the wars esclating to global conflict might case people to be more rather than less interested, in the news:

Publication of the study's findings comes at a time when billions of people around the world have been going to the polls in national and regional elections, another reason why at this time, pepple might have more cause to follow news coverage..

The report found that elections have increased interest in the news in a few countries, including the United States. However, the overall trend remains firmly downwards, according to the study.

In the U.K., interest in news has almost halved since 2015. “The news agenda has obviously been particularly difficult in recent years,” the report’s lead author Nic Newman told BBC News. Other sources report that many people questions feel there is a political bias towards the globalist left in BBC and other mainstream news coverage.

This development will come as no surprise to those of us who have created a hobby or retirement career for ourselves as reoprters and commentators in the alt_nres community and no only because we all regularly (too regularly unfortunately,) report on misinformation, disinformation, downright lies, propaganda, biased reporting and othr bollocks pumped out by government and corporate press officers and faithfully parrotted by mainstream news outlets.

 People now demonstrably have trust issues with various things; politicians ( as evidenced by the polls and what’s happening across Europe and the U.S ), Big Pharma ( it’s often reported there’s been a downturn in people rocking up for childhood vaccinations and the Covid booster uptake has been in decline for some time ), and a distrust of all types of authority is naturally going to follow, because who has been the biggest, most influential mouthpiece when it comes to spreading government/globalist propaganda and lies? The media. 

 There’s a definite lag effect when it comes to the reporting but this just confirms what is happening in real life, and we should not expect any othe.r outcome

Much like if you find out your other half has been having an affair with your best friend, would you really continue to vote for a party that continues to let you down, election after election, never keeps their promises and lies to your face? What intelligent person is going to just stay in such a toxic relationship like a right mug and not break free from the whole dysfunctional cycle? Any right-minded person would ditch their partner ( and their bestie ) just like they’d go vote for some totally different party/person for the first time in their lives. People don’t /have to stay put and continue to be shat on from a high height like they’ve no control over the matter. So why anyone would even bother with MSM nowadays is beyond me. It’s just insane, but I think we know by now the correlation between MSM muppets and the following of the various government agendas. The cultists need to step away from the Kool-Aid and detox their minds.

They should do a survey at the next ‘protest’ or when the ‘Just Sod Off’ idiots are next glued to the road and ask them if they’ve got a BBC license or if they read the papers. Surely the results would be entirely predictable.

The Great CovId Cover Up: The mRNA Injections Are An Absolute Disaster And Should Be Completely Banned Says Professor of Immunology

 

Professor Angus Dalgleish is an authority on immunology and Professor of Oncology at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London. He is probably the only person in the UK who’s been a National Health Service (“NHS”) consultant in virology, immunology, general medicine and oncology.

While the narrative created by governments and their various agencies continues to promote the line that COVID mRNA vaccines are 100% safe and effective, Prof. Dalgleish, probably the best qualified of many scientists and senior medical professionals to comment on the true performance of the untested, experimental vaccines has been an outspoken critic of mRNA  vaccines, sounding alarms about vaccine-induced cancers and other side effect of the jabs which as is now acknowledged, do not make recipients immune.  He has covered other covid-related issues such as blood clots and heart problems as well.  In January, he published an article in TC W Defending Freedom titled ‘The covid booster cancer time bomb’ which is useful reading for anyone who like myself is being badgered to go and get my spring booster shot, (I keep telling the admin at the medical practice I used that haven't has my first two shots yet, but they insist my records show I am fully vaccinated and boosted!).

Because of his experience working on the pathogenesis of human immunodeficiency viruses (“HIV”) and being involved in creating an HIV vaccine – which authorities rejected in favour of the ineffective HIV vaccine which is now abandoned –  when the genetic sequence of the covid virus became available, Prof. Dalgleish agreed to oversee the same process with SARS-CoV-2.

“And we started to plan a MAPA plan when they came back and said, this is not an actual virus, this has been released from the lab in Wuhan, or escaped as we then put it.  And the reasons for this was absolutely plain, is that there were charged inserts around the receptor binding site – not one or two but six – as well as the fusion site, fusion domain,” Prof. Dalgleish said in a recent interview.

“It occurred to me that these inserts, some of them, had been previously published [ ] by the Wuhan group,” he added.

Prof. Dalgleish explained that the virus had been altered so that the amino acids derived from these inserts were very positively charged; they would act like a fridge magnet and so “zap” onto human cells over and above its natural ACE receptor thus inhibiting the natural immune response. The rules of biology would have edited out those changes which is why the mRNA should never have been released for general use Prof. Dalgleish explained.

However, having created the 'killer virus' and 'existential threat to humanity' narratives, governments were not listening, and the vaccine manufacturers of the Big Pharma cartel, scenting the huge profits to be made, having admitted the vaccines would not grant immunity to people who received them, were not up for withdrawing these flawed products. Instead, with the backing of the World Health Organisation (WHO) they obtained from governments a blanket immunity from prosecution over injuries or harms resulting from the vaccines. 

The issues caused by the ‘vaccines’ have never been fully catalogued, and additional issues might also become apparent in the future. The definition of ‘excess death’ has even been changed to hide the spike in the death rate across all developed nations since the vaccine roll out. How overt does the cover up need to be before some people will admit we have all (yes even the unvaccinated,) been victims of the greatest crime against humanity ever perpetrated?

The rise of other diseases partly attributable to a lack of vaccination, cited by some oficial sources as proof the excess deaths are not vaccine related  can be squarely blamed on our porous borders. The most obvious illustration of this is the return of Tuberculosis, unknown in the developed nations for over fifty years until globalist policies unleashed waves of mass immigration.

With Big Pharma's absolutely horrendous and well documented past behaviours - the public mistrust is just about where it should be, zero. Not your ordinary zero but absolute zero. If you do not understand why, your memory is deficient.

“Misinformation came from both sides…”?

This is probably your most disingenuous attempt at re-framing the narrative.

 We all witnessed between 2020 and 2023 an industry and a government blatantly, deliberately and repeatedly misrepresent and manipulate information in almost all its communications. And yet those of us who challenged this campaign of lies were dismissed as conspiracy theorists, flat earthers, climate deniers, anti - science loons, and worse. 

But the real conspiracies were the lies about the origins, lies about the deaths, lies about therapeutics and prophylactics from vitamin D to Ivermectin, the so called ‘horse medicine’, hydroxychloroquine (that centuries old, well proven and safe drug Quinine,) were dismissed with lies about their lack of efficacy. We witnessed a massive and concerted effort at censorship. not of conspiracy theorists, but of well qualified individuals like Prof. Dalglish, Dr. Robert Malone, the late Cory Mullis who developed the PCR tests that gave 80% false positives because, as its inventor, Dr. Mulis warned, it was never intended to be used as a diagnostic tool. And thousands of individuals like myself, whose qualifications lie in other areas, who were simply asking the questions governments, health agencies and Pharmaceutical companies did not want to have to answer in public.

Vaccinating everyone despite knowing that immunity did not result and transmission still occurred is criminal. Not only does it accelerate the virus’ ability to circumvent the vaccine, it also killed young people unnecessarily. It should have been reserved for the most vulnerable. But we didn’t really care about them, remember?

Next, what a monstrous gamble it is to unnecessarily vaccinate an entire population with a hurriedly developed, untested, experimental medication against a non-existent  probability of a human extinction event. Many of the decisions implemented in the COVID response were criminal, even more irresponsible and opportunistic.

Safe And Effective? The Evidence Says Different

It is likely that at some time in my life I have encountered a bigger pile of lies, , dissemination, misdirections, evasions, obfuscations, and unmitigated arse dribble, but if there is an annual prize for bureaucratic scumbaggeery this pile of verbal diarrhea must surely be a contender. If there is anyone who is still reluctant to accept that the ruling elites hate, loathe and despise us ordinary folk, whose blood they suck for their livelihood, if you are brave enough to read on you will see from this response to a legitimate concern that public opinion is regarded as equivalent to the mooing of a stupid, bovine mass.  "The Government has no plans for a further public inquiry. It is taking steps to reduce excess deaths. There is no evidence linking excess deaths to the COVID-19 vaccine. The ONS published analysis in February 2023 that showed that the COVID-19 mortality rate has been consistently lower since the COVID-19 vaccine booster introduction in September 2021 for people who have had at least a third dose or booster, compared with unvaccinated people and those with just a first or second dose. 

When looking at deaths from other causes, mortality rates are broadly consistent between those who have received at least a third dose or booster and those who have not received any. The observed excess deaths are likely caused by a range of factors, but COVID-19 vaccination is not one of them.

Safe and effective vaccines have underpinned our strategy for living with COVID-19 and have saved tens of thousands of lives, whilst also significantly reducing the pressure on the NHS. Each candidate COVID-19 vaccine is assessed by teams of scientists and clinicians on a case-by-case basis and is only authorised once it has met robust standards of effectiveness, safety and quality set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The MHRA has also implemented a proactive vaccine safety surveillance strategy for monitoring the continued safety of all UK-approved COVID-19 vaccines. Antivirals and other treatments provide a necessary additional defence by protecting patients who become infected with COVID-19, particularly those for whom the vaccine may be less effective such as the immunosuppressed.

We are preparing for variants of COVID-19 and seasonal flu infections with an integrated COVID-19 booster and flu vaccination programme, minimising hospital admissions from both viruses. We have also launched a COVID-19 Inquiry to examine the UK’s preparedness and response to the pandemic and learn lessons for the future. Throughout the pandemic the Government acted to save lives and livelihoods, prevent the NHS being overwhelmed and deliver a world-leading vaccine rollout, which protected millions of lives across the nation.

The Department is committed to supporting this Inquiry. The Inquiry also plans to add a Module on Vaccines and Therapeutics (Module 4). In addition to work to reduce deaths from COVID-19, we are also taking steps to reduce deaths from other diseases such as cardiovascular disease (CVD).

This is a very revealing piece of news for British readers because while the narrative has collapsed in USA, UK mainstream media are still loyally pushing the message that we will all die unless we get vaccinated with multiple shots of toxic shite that does not give the recipient immunity. Clearly this is not true because ONS figures show that currently more vaccinated than unvaccinated people are dying from or being hospitalised with COVID.

“Fully 7 in 10 Americans (70%) agree with the sentiment that “it’s time we accept that Covid is here to stay and we just need to get on with our lives” – including 78% of those who report having gotten Covid and 65% of those who say they have not been infected,” according to Monmouth. The main difference in sentiment is predictably seen in political affiliation, with 89% of Republicans wanting to move on, along with 71% of independents but only 47% of Democrats.

The poll numbers will make problematic reading for those who have turned taking multiple vaccines and vehemently supporting lockdown mandates and mask rules into a high status symbol religion. However, they may find some succor in the number of Americans who think the pandemic will be under control by the end of the year, which is only 34%, while 28% think a return to normal life will never happen.

UK Conservative Member of Parliament Andrew Bridgen, who has made highly public, 'off message' criticisms of the media silence about the harms causede by COVID 19 mRNA vaccines, has now urged the government and British National Health Service to discontinue use of the vaccines as they clearly do not either prevent infection or alleviate symptoms but have so far been linked to far more cases of serious adverse reactions that all other vaccines introduced over the past thirty years.

That figure has risen from 22% in September and just 6% a year ago who thought normalcy would never resume.

Part of the desire to see the back of the pandemic and for everyone to move on could be linked to the media’s relentless coverage of the issue.

Leaked WhatsApp Messages On Lockdowns And COVID Restrictions Show Government's Contempt For The Public

 It was inevitable that the truth about the COVID pandemic having been a hoax, an elaborate and well organised exercise in mass manipulation and control must emerge. There have been rumblings for months of course, Big Pharma whistleblowers and research biologists whose well informed opinions were silence by censorship and the howling of the mob are now finding a platform to reveal that they counselled against lockdowns, the fast tracked approvals of improperly tested, experimental vaccines, doctors who lost their jobs for treating COVID with quinine and ivermectin have revealed the pressures that were put on them to comply with the official narrative and public health officials have admitted they were ignored when they warned against social restrictions.

And now the once unsayable 'conspiracy theory' that could land people in jail for speadeing 'misinformation, the story that the virus was man made and leaked from a biolweapons laboratory in Wuhan, China, where scientists funded by the United States Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA,) were working on 'gain-of-function projects to tu rn previously innocuous infective agents into something more deadly is acknowledged to have been true.

But the real killer blow, the proof that the whole episode was never about public health but was entirely political in its motivation, has been the leaking of thousands of Whats App messages exchanged between elected and salaried members of the British government which show the utter contempt in which our political masters hold We The People.

When the story broke in the Telegraph last week that 100,000 WhatsApp messages from Matt Hancock had been leaked (in the public interest,) by a journalist named Isabel Oakeshott, I must admit I was sceptical as is my habit when processing information from mainstream media. Who could look through 100,000 messages involving the former Health Secretary Matt (shagger) Hancock in such a short time without dying of boredom. But Information Technology, when used properly, is a wonderful thing and a keyword search on 100,000 documents would take only seconds.

And boy, were there some juicy bits among the dross.

The spectacle that followed publication, as Isabel Oakeshott was on TV and radio explaining why she had, according to Hancock, breached their agreement. There were endless threads of confusing messages about Covid and Hancock’s campaign of self-promotion,Boris Johnson holding naked orgies in the Downing street garden (OK, I made that bit up,) and a crowd of characters fighting and finger jabbing all over the airwaves. But somewhere in all the accusations and denials the stories and the key threads, began to emerge.

The main thing that strikes one is how dismissively the people who sent those messages talk about the rest us, the general population, the taxpayers who pay the wages of ministers, advisers and senior officials. The tone flips from arrogant, glib, menacing and contemptuous. There is shameless talk of scaring us into compliance with fascistic measures through a campaign of lies and scare srories. There is glee and amusement when people are harassed for trivial breaches of COVID restrictions by over - zealous plod squads who would be nowhere to be seen is real crimes were being committed, or trapped in quarantine hotels, or caught out by the ridiculously draconian and as many experts would have warned had their voices not been silenced by censors, ineffective rules imposed by ministers. It is as though we are naughty children who had to be punished because we distracted our elders and betters from pursuit of their power grabbing agendas. There’s a whiff of Dickens and the 19th century orphanage about the worst of the messages. 

And all the time, in private, they carried on with theireveryday lives, loves and illicit affairs.

 

 

The decisions to shut schools for such long periods, with an obvious impact on the mental health of the young, and the quite mad order to make children wear masks in class, are discussed by some of the participants as though they are a political game, a kind of 'if we can make them do this we can get away with anything attitude. Cabinet ministers who expressed concerns about the impact of the assorted measures are dismissed as ideologues, and dismissed as ministers soon afterwards.

Missing in these monstrous exchanges is parliament or fear of parliament, which is supposed to be our guardian against government overreach and abuse of power. To their eternal shame of MPs, they cravenly allowed the institution to be all but shut down by the state, and replaced with performative Zoom calls. Only a few of our elected representatives objected and demanded oversight.

But then we the public, or a majority, asked for it. The creepy authoritarianism, enforced by propaganda, public information briefings and strict policing, was popular at the time and it still is. His Majesty's Loyal opposition, The Labour Party, far from opposing the government's lurch into fascism instead responded to every oppressive measure by demanding even more stringent oppression. Amazingly recent opinion polls suggested only 19% of voters think the government’s handling of Covid was too strict. Some 37% think it was not strict enough and 34% about right. One shudders to imagine what a more strict and controlling regime would have looked like. Communist China? Nazi Germany? Stalinist Russia?

What should concern us is now the power addicts know how far they can go, what will happen next time, We know there will be more diseases and another pandemic at some point because the billionaire psychopath and self - apponited global vaccine Czar, Bill Gates is openly talking about planning it. Such is the pace of technological change, in computing, data collection and AI that the next time it happens the state will have even more power than the current crop of crooks and liars had. During Covid a majority of the British public liked this life by QR code, mediated (we now know thanks to the leaked WhatsApp messages) by squabbling, out of control politicians who cratered the economy and added hundreds of billions of pounds to the national debt pile, left to be dealt with later by future generations.

The lesson here is surely that MPs and concerned citizens need to act to defend freedom. I have said for years that we should outlaw centrally controlled political parties and corporate donors because it is too easy for such organisations to coerce elected representative to act in the interests of the party and its financial backers rather than in the interests of their constituents. I’m not holding my breath, although perhaps some senior MPs and campaigners will see the need to campaign for freedom and proper parliamentary oversight of the state in the next crisis.

Massive Coral Growth on Australia's the Great Barrier Reef Discredits Predictions of Climate Change Doom Merchants

 

Record levels of annual growth of coral on Australia's the Great Barrier Reef (GBR) continues to astound scientists who had prdicted for decades that the dying of the world's largest coral reef would trigger an environmental disaster in the Pacific Ocean. Major increases recorded across large areas of the reef, reported in the 2021-22 annual summary from the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS), show levels of coral cover in the northern and central areas of the reef were at their highest levels over the past 36 years of monitoring.

The growth ought to have environmentalists jumping for joy, but rather bizarrely is being downplayed by governments and United Nations environment agencies with hardly any mention of this phenomenon in the mainstream media. The decline and death of the world’s coral reefs is a long - time standby scare story for Net Zero promoters. As late as October 2020, the BBC  was telling stories about the Reef losing half of its coral. The Guardian was one of the first to set the coral doomsday ball rolling when George Monbiot told its readers in 1999 that the “imminent total destruction of the world’s coral reefs is not a scare story”. Noting the recent record growth, the newspaper added that “global heating could jeopardise recovery”. They never give up do they?

This notion that global warming will cause corals to die is just one of the many big lies used by pseudo - scientists to prop up their Climate Change scare and keep the research grant money rolling in . Tropical coral, a close cousin of the jellyfish, thrives in waters between 24°C and 32°C. It is highly adaptable but dislike sudden changes in temperature, which are usually caused by natural weather oscillations such as El Niño events, but not by the kind of gradual change that would be caused by increased atmospheric Carbon Dioxide levels, were there any recent increases in global mean temperature to cause them. 

Research carried out by the Austrialian Insitute of Marine Science (AIMS) shows coral quickly recovers when normal localised conditions return. In fact, coral often grows faster in warmer waters nearer the equator than the GBR. The big agitprop lie suggests minor long-term sea temperatures changes will wipe out the coral, but the scientific evidence suggests otherwise.

As usual the sciencetits called us 'conspiracy theorists' when we said the dying of coral was only happening in mathematical models of coral and was a scam. Turns out the conspiracy theorists were telling the truth again.

Ironic isn't it that the one person guilty of telling more lies and spreading more misinformation about COVID throughout the pandemic, our so - called Prime Minister and according to observable evidence, the chief idiot Boris Johnson launched another attack on 'anti - vaxxers' today, saying they “thrive on the attention”?

This outrageous farrago of lies and calumnies (yeah, Boris is not ther only one who can use big words, what's more I don't need to employ people to write my stuff for me,) spewed at people who have simply chosen not to be injected with a shot of toxic shite that does not immunise anybody against anything comes after the prime minister last week made his strongest intervention yet, accusing anti-vaccine campaigners of speaking “mumbo jumbo” over coronavirus jabs. Actually the only ones spouting mumbo jumbo about the vaccines are Johnson, his government and t.heir scientific advisers. In spite of incontrovertible evidence to the contrary these charlatans keep telling us the vaccines work and are completely safe. As for the mathematical modellers (aka amateur computer dabblers,) responsible for giving the government 'scientific' advice, these people would not recognise real science if it ran up to them and pulled their pissers.

Asked if we could expect more rhetoric from ministers laying into the anti-vaxxers, Boris Johnson’s spokesman replied: “I think it’s important, as Professor Whitty has said before, there is a balance to be struck between not giving oxygen to those anti-vaxxers who thrive on the attention. 

Johnson continued his rabble rousing rant, saying: “... it is important to note that those individuals that are refusing to get vaccinated, they [are] putting themselves at risk and we have the hard data to back that up and they’re putting others at risk as well. 

“So the approach we are taking in this country is to provide reassurance and answer questions for those that have genuine concerns, those that might be hesitant, and we’ve been largely successful in that approach. 

“That’s indeed why we have among the highest levels of vaccine enthusiasm of any country in the world.”

How many lies can you spot in those three short sentences? Firstly there is no genuine data to show we the unvaccinated are putting ourselves at risk. In fact official data shows the per capita infection rates for unvaccinated people is 50% lower than for vaccinated people, so it is those snivelling little wimps who ran off to get vaccinated that put themselves at risk because the potential dangers of the mRNA vaccines were well known beore the mass vaccination program was launched.

As for reassuring the unvaccinated that COVID vaccines are safe and effective, the real vaccine take up figure is around 65%, not the 89% the government claims, and the numbers stepping up to get their first shot has slowed to a trickle, while Johnson's ridiculous claim that the entire nation over the age of twelve would have been given a booster by January 4th has fallen well short of its impossible target, with only about 50% of the elegible population having accepted the booster shot.

As for the highest level of vaccine enthusiasm, many people will tell you they only got the shot because of peer pressure, threat of their employment being terminated or fear of social exclusion. so Boris' vaccine enthusiasm is on a par with the 90% support claimed by the National Socialist party in 1930s Germany, where people knew they faced being sent to labour camps or worse if they appeared even slightly disenchanted with Hitler's government.

As you might have guessed I, the author, am not vaccinated. Along with others like me I respect the right of those who have accepted vaccination to make their own choices. I do not crave attention, or at least not the sort of attention that involved government officials poking their noses into my private life.

 What I do not accept are the bullying and coercive measures introduced by governments to 'nudge' people who have intelligently researched this issue and decided their is little to be gained from a vaccination that does not work. 

We The Unvaxxed also generally resent the propaganda that has been used to drive a wedge between vaccinated and unvaccinated people by circulating lies and misleading propaganda to the effect that unvaccinated people are a threat to the vaccinated. The sheer illogic of this lie should be enough to warn people away from vaccination forever. Johnson and his hatemongering, div isive, neo - Nazi government, seeing that their tactics are failing are now becoming desperate in their failing bid to give every British citizen The Mark Of The Beast. 

"It is important to note that those individuals that are refusing to get vaccinated, they [are] putting themselves at risk and we have the hard data to back that up and they’re putting others at risk as well." Johnson blustered in his latest irrational outburst. Really, after the thousands of pounds us long suffering taxpayers putting his through one of the best universities in the world (allegedly,), we have a right to expect the very least, coherent arguments from him.  

LOOK BORIS, YOU RETARDED IDIOT, IF UNVACCINATED PEOPLE LIKE ME POSE A THREAT TO VACCINATED IDIOTS LIKE YOU IT CAN ONLY BE BECAUSE THE VACCINES DON'T FUCKING WORK. SIMPLES!

And that being the case, the whole pandemic response from the government has been hopelessly, damagingly wrong. Continuing the bullying tactics and the pro - vaccine propaganda now the cat is out of the bag is only going to harden the attitudes of unvaccinated people and those who are vaccinated but now regret that decision as it is obvious their natural auto - immune system is weakened by these vaccines and they will need regular booster shots (vaccine manufacturers are talking about a shot of toxic shite per month.) 

Last week Johnson said those spreading false information on social media were “totally wrong” and it was time for him “to call them out”. He then went on to spout a solid half hour of false information about the efficacy of vaccines, the deadliness of the omicron variant and the success of the government in mitigating the effects of the not very deadly variant. “That’s indeed why we have among the highest levels of vaccine enthusiasm of any country in the world,” Johnson claimed. 

It is beyond ironic that we also have one of the highest death rates in the world, and other contenders for that dubious distinction are the very same nations as have claimed the highest vaccination rate. And yet governments and their psychopathic science advisers continue to insist there are no grounds to question the safety of the vaccines, even though deaths and serious adverse reactions following COVID mRNA vaccines has already exceeded by many thousands of times the level at which any other medication would have been withdrawn pending safety reports.
