Campaign balloon sums up the sheer pointlessness of the EU summit as leaders pretend the EU is not falling apart at the seams whatever the British voters decide. (Image Source)
Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann said at the E?U summit on British membership terms that the European Union wants to reach an agreement with the United Kingdom, but it is not prepared to compromise the banking union (financial integration) or the further integration of monetary union (UK being forced to abandon the pound join the Euro?) to achieve this goal.
The European Union will not agree to the further integration of the euro zone towards the formation of a federal European superstate being jeopardized in order to retain the United Kingdom as a member of the bloc the Austrian Reichsfuhrer Faymann said Friday.
On February 18-19, EU leaders meeting in Brussels to discuss the issue of the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union, found so many differences between the British vision for Europe and that of the
Faymann told reporters that the bloc wants to reach an agreement with the United Kingdom, but it is not prepared to compromise the banking union or the further integration of monetary union to achieve this goal.
Last year, while campaigning in the General Election Mr. Cameron promised voters a referendum on the United Kingdom's future within the European Union by the end of 2017, following a renegotiation of the terms of Britain's membership to make the progressive loss of sovereignty and transfer of lawmaking powers from the elected Parliament in London to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.
Apart from the European multi-currency status, Cameron has proposed halting the shift of power away from Parliament to the EU and returning sovereignty over employment law, human rights, trade and commercial law and immigration, finance and foreign policy and consumer protection law to the peoples' elected representatives. This would leave Britain as an 'associate member', a trading partner but outside the single EU "superstate" principle, and protect the British economy by keeping eurozone bureaucrats away from our traade and diplomatic relations with non-eurozone countries.
Brexit: Britain's future in or out of EU?
Should Britain leave the EU and or remain and surrender even more of our national sovereighty to the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels. The campaign to keep us in the EU, led by Prime Minister David Cameron, has become know as Project Fear, the Europhile having only scaremongering argument to back their case. At the moment, due to the immigrant crisis caused by the Shengen Zone open borders area and 'open doors' immigration policy ...
Don’t Trust The Turks

EU Judges Could Throw Out Dave’s Deal, Say Independent Researchers
Now we learn that not only does Cameron’s give us no new terms and conditions at all, only clever wordplay, his agreement with the European Union (EU) could be thrown out by European judges, according to independent research by the House of Commons library.

Cameron’s EU Package: Not A Deal But A Few Turns In The Spinner
TTIP transatlantic fascism
Sneaking a transatlantic trade deal through with Obama, by - passing the elected parliament and British law is just about David Cameron's style. But this latest exercise in dismantling democracy could have far reaching consequences for all of us, for example it will give global corporations the power to change British law.
Euro uber alles
The Iron Chancellor of Germany could not have been clearer. “Whoever wants credit must fulfill our conditions“.
These conditions are capitulation by three vulnerable states on core policies, and partial loss of sovereignty for the rest of the eurozone. The move represents a giant leap towards the establishment of a federal Europe or the dreaded single nation solution.
Cameron’s EU Package: Not A Deal But A Few Turns In The Spin Machine
As we and almost everybody else predicted, David Cameron's deal to improve Britain's relationship with the EU is worthless. It changes nmothing, and can be vetoed once we have voted to stay in.
Yet again the news slowly leaking out of the Trans Atlantic Trade And Investment Partnershi negotiations tess us just why there is so much secrecy surrounding this trade treaty being negotiated between the EU and the USA that even our elected governments are not allowed to know what the final treaty will include. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Europe; Greater Germany Superstate
With anti EU feeling running high in all the wealthy nations of Europe, Merkel had to sty schtumm about her plans to give more sovereign powers to Brussels during her election campaign. But now the news is out it makes her chances of forming a stable coalition look a lot shakier
EU Bureaucrats power grab
As the new EU President Jean - Claude Drunkard usurps another power that belongs to the parliaments of sovereign nations by telling leaders who they may and may not nominate to 'his' commission, we try to ramp up anti European feeling a little more. The sooner ?Britain is out of this corrupt bureaucratic dictatorship (and we'll be followed by Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands, Austria and Hungary for starters) the better.
EU German Ubermacht
The confrontation between Germany, which some say sees itself as the increasingly dominant nation in the EU as 'ever closer integration' progresses, and Greece, the Euro zone economic basket case but a proud and independent nation all the same, had to come. Germany was more austerity from Greece to protect the value of the Greek debt it hold. Greece want money from Germany to settle old grievances.
Euro bureaucratic Democracy
Globalization of Serfdom
When the power elites promise something that will benefit people everywhere it can be taken what the world will get is the opposite. Thus when we were told globalisation would make everybody more prosperous, abolish poverty and narrow the gap between rich and poor, only a fool would have failed to regognize what was on offer comprised a return to medieval poverty and servitude for the masses while the rich became richer.
