Pushback Against Globalism Gathers Strength As Centre - right AfD Advance In Germany

 

 

Leaders of The European Union musth be seeting with rage, despite all their political, propaganda and lawfare efforts to stop the rise of the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), the most hated (by the left and Eurofederalist) political force in Germany, keeps showing robust signs of life, whether in its impressive showing in a state election on Sunday or in a recent courtroom victory. In a regional election on Sunday (8 March), the AfD more than doubled its previous vote share for the parliament of Baden-Württemberg, one of the most prosperous and heavily populated states in western Germany. On February 26, a German constitutional court dismissed a case brought by the country’s domestic spy agency aimed at having AfD,  Germany’s second most popular political party, classified as a “confirmed right-wing extremist” organization. The “confirmed right-wing extremist” designation has been a key tool in the campaign among establishment and left-wing politicians to ban the AfD entirely on grounds that they are a 'threat to democracy.'

This is far - left bollocks of course, it is the AfD’s extremist enemies who seek to ban and censor it, who deny it its parliamentary privileges, who have launched arson attacks against its leaders, and who have assaulted its members. The AfD has done none of these things to its opponents, nor has it called  on supporters to resort to violence against its opponents. AfD has abided by every legal ruling against it, however tendentious. The AfD is Germany’s staunchest supporter of Israel and German Jews; it alone has tried for years to cut off the U.N. slush fund that supports Palestinian terrorism. 

 What makes the AfD so toxic for the globalist left is that its policy portfolio commits the cardinal sin of  making the case that mass migration by semi - educated, unskilled, culturally incompatible third world peasants and labourers who have no intention of integrating into German society is destroying traditional German culture and identity. 

 They also go against the approved narrative by pointing out that Germany’s open-borders policies are saddling the country with a crime- and terror-prone, welfare-dependent, culturally alien population that consumes taxpayer resources while only intermittently giving something back to German society, usually in the form of unwanted sexual attention to German women or trying to give the German car industry back to the by driving into a crowd of German people at a Carnival or Christmas Market . 

Its other crime against democracy is in calling for the enforcement of laws already on the books regarding the deportation of criminal aliens and other migrants who have no right to remain in German society. At its core, its heresy is to assert that a country has a right to decide its level of immigration and resulting culture change, rather than that level being determined by the will of the migrants themselves. 

Ionically the German trying to get AfD banned as a threat to democracy and the EU leaders condemning Trump’s ‘betrayal of democracy’ see it as perfectly normal to levy fines against European nations whose elected leaders defy EU policy (Poland, Hungary), or to enact punitive trade chastisements on nations that elect to leave a supposedly benign and voluntary trading bloc (the UK). 

These same European fans of democracy happily watch the liberal consensus crumble as they increasingly deny their own populations the free speech on which democracy depends, and react with fury to Americans pointing this out. They talk openly about banning parties that don’t follow a globalist line (like the AfD in Germany) or have compliant judges who simply reverse election results they didn’t like (EU and judicial collusion in Greece, Spain, Belgium and Romania).

Military Experts Advising Trump Overlooked Iran's Mosquito Fleet - Taking Kargh Istand Is Not An Easy Option For Winning The War

 

 

A batch of unmanned speedboats for Iran's Mosquito Fleet

The Telegraph today carried a story headlined: "The tiny island of Kharg that could let Trump beat Iran without sending a single soldier," claiming to offer insight into the latest thinking of 'experts' on how to progress the war on Iran. Like most war stories it took a simplistic view of what could be a near impoosible task. 

When serious export of Iranian oil started it was soon met by a problem. Iran’s coast is relatively shallow. Big tankers have a lot of draft. It was thus troublesome for Iran’s oil industry to deliver large loads of crude oil to big ships.

The answer to this problem was Kargh Island a tiny, flat, featureless islet surrounded by  deep water, some 15 miles off the Iranian coast. The government in Tehran, incollaboration with the oil companies built a termina able to load very large crude oil carrying vessels on the island. Today  90% of all Iran's petroleum products are handled by the Kargh Island Terminal.

For decades dimwit American politicians and military leaders have dreamed of fetching Kharg to thereby get control over Iran’s oil production: In an interview with a British newspaper back in 1988, an up-and-coming New York property mogul named Donald Trump was asked about his plans for the future. 

Never one to be lost for words he, boasted that he might one day run for president and vowed to win back “respect” for America on the world stage. He also had stern words for  the theocratic regime of Iran’s Islamic Republic, already a sworn enemy of America in the wake of the 1979 US hostage crisis.

“They’ve been beating us psychologically, making us look a bunch of fools,” Trump told The Guardian. “One bullet shot at one of our men or ships, and I’d do a number on Kharg Island. I’d go in and take it.”

Several figures of the current Trump administration have likewise opined that the taking of Kharg would give the U.S. a hold over all Iranian oil exports – now and in future.

However  the American leadership is skirting some serious optic problems which have  been vastly underplayed in US & western media, and so are effectively unknown to the population at large. These factors point to a long war, energy shortage and a global economic crisis.

 JCOS (Joint Chiefs of Staff) Chairman Gen. Dan Caine, yesterday emphasized three U.S. objectives in Iran: destroying Iranian ballistic missile and drone capability, striking ‘deeper into Iran’s military and industrial base’ and continuing to decimate Iran’s navy to allow maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.”
 
Aside from Iran’s Navy being far from the sole obstacle effecting Hormuz Maritime traffic, the Pentagon must eventually deal with the presumed destruction of all or most of their regional bases – which, again, few people outside government and the military know anything about. 

Kargh Island for example is too close to the mainland to be taken easily, modern shore based artillery located many miles back from the coast could easily reach ships attacking the island. Hormuz, already partly blocked by Irainan Navy ships sunk by US and Israeli bombing raids is effectivly closed to shipping from hostile states and could remain so for many months, causing prolonged chaos in the global economy Iran was never going to be a pushover.

And in both cases there is an even more deadly threat to the naval personnel manning the ships inolved in leading the allied advance. Iran has developed, or rather revived, an unconventional naval strategy known as the “Mosquito Fleet.” Instead of relying only on large warships to defend its waters, Tehran has focused on builing a fleet of hundreds — possibly thousands — of small, high-speed attack boats designed to challenge much larger naval forces in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. 

The term “Mosquito Fleet” refers to a large number of small, fast, heavily armed boats operated mainly by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGC Navy). These boats are: Equipped with anti-ship missiles, Capable of speeds between 50 to 110 knots (approximately 90–200 km/h,), Small enough to maneuver quickly and approach larger vessels. Because of their speed and size, they can rapidly close in on larger warships, launch missiles, and retreat before facing a full counterattack. 

Iran’s Mosquito Fleet strategy is specifically designed to exploit the vulnerabilities of a billion-dollar carrier like the USS Abraham Lincoln. Shore based Iranian commanders conceal large groups of these fast-attack crafts in civilian fishing ports, specialised underground maritime bases carved into the Persian Gulf cliffs, and even simple truck trailers.
 
These vessels can be wheeled out, launched from a random beach, and begin attacking a tanker or destroyer within minutes. The U.S. cannot target every garage along a 1,300-mile coastline. Iran possesses thousands of these boats, many of which are now unmanned kamikaze vessels packed with hundreds of kilograms of explosives.
 
While a U.S. destroyer’s Aegis combat system may be one of the best in the world, it has its limits. If 50 boats attack from 50 different directions simultaneously, the ship’s guns simply can’t pivot quickly enough to engage them all. It only takes one boat getting through to cause a USS Cole-type disaster.
 
A U.S. Hellfire missile costs approximately $150,000, while a single Iranian speedboat may only cost about $20,000. If the U.S. has to fire 500 missiles to stop a swarm, they end up spending millions to destroy plastic boats. Iran can produce these vessels faster than the U.S. can manufacture high-tech missiles.
 
Trump and Wright both made high-profile claims regarding naval escorts and unblocking the Strait of Hormuz. When Wright deleted his post and the Navy confirmed that no escort occurred, it sent a clear signal to the markets and Tehran that the U.S. is currently unable or unwilling to enter the kill zone of the narrow straits.

War In Iran, Fuel Crisis In Europe, Economic Chaos Everywhere

 

 

News from the Persian Gulf war zone today is that Iraq has shut down some oil wells, following the kead of Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Qatar has also shut down is gas wells and the process ‘trains’ needed to liquefy natural gas.

This is bad news for Europe particularly, and for the rest of the free world and is, as we reported yesterday, due to the virtual closure of the Strait of Hormuz and because of potential missile and drone attacks on the vulnerable and highly exposed production installations.

While oil and LPG prices have increased on all global markets, commodity traders  have not yet recognized the length and severity of the supply crunch these shut downs will cause. Prices, currently in the high $90s per barrel, will need to get much higher ($150+/bl) to cause an equivalent demand destruction.

Even if the war on Iran stopped tomorrow and Strait could be reopened immediately it would take many weeks until the flow of supplies returned to normal levels.

Oil wells, like electricity generating stations, once shut down, cannot be brpught back oline at the flick of a switch. The bore of an unused oil well may close up, sediments may block the oil flow, valves start to fail. It means that drilling rigs will need to be setup at each of the wells a task involving several days work even if all materials are readily available, before the oil starts to flow. There are thousands of wells that have been shut down.

Qatar’s liquefaction of natural gas is an even bigger problem as sactions over Rssia's war with Ukraine have cut off supplies from that source making exports from the Gulf even more vital and the process to create Liquefied Petroleum Gas is quite complex:

The first step on the onshore facilities is the separation of condensate from gas. The separated condensate is stabilised and sent to storage to await export. The natural gas then flows to the liquefaction trains for processing into LNG. During the first phase of this process, sulphur compounds, carbon dioxide, and water are removed in stages. The gas is then chilled using propane and ​mixed refrigeration processes.

The heavy hydrocarbons are separated out and fractionated into liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and plant condensate. The cryogenic main heat exchanger in each train then cools the gas to approximately – 150 °C, liquefying it in the process. Finally, as the pressure is reduced to almost zero, the temperature decreases to – 162 °C, nitrogen is removed and LNG is transferred to one of the storage tanks prior to being loaded into a LNG vessel.​​​

When a liquefaction system shuts down all the product in it will have to be removed. The whole cryogenic chain, once stopped, will warm up and will need to be cooled down again to its very low working temperatures. The metal structures involved do not react well, to say it mildly, to frequent changes in temperature. Failures will occur. Repairs will be needed.

It will take at least two months to revive the Qatari process trains. This of course only after the war has ended. Some 20% of the global LPG supply will thus be unavailable for a lengthy period of time.

The big mouths and bigger egos on the American side of the conflict have not only let the cat out of the bag but have painted a very complete picture for Gulf Control Councol (GCC) rulers to see a long war is completely against their interest. Their  ambassadors got dressed down very well by Lavrov with what some have described as tough love. Despite that, GCC rulers now see Russia as more powerful than the US Empire in the Gulf region and with Russia comes China. 

The big dilemma for GCC rulers is their investment portfolio in the west which has the very real possibility of becoming a total loss if war spreads beyond the gulf region and becomes global conflict. Likewise are US corporate assets within the GCC that Iran aims to eliminate as part of its goal to eject all US & European related assets from the region. 
 

Shi’a leaders have now issued fatwas calling for jihad in support of Iran, a move  that coulfd have a major impact on events in Iraq. Hezbollah has been performing very well in the eastern Mediterranean so far.

Iran’s 91 million people are spread out across the nation aside from the 10 million or so that live in the Tehran metro region, meaning the US - Israeli war effort needs to target an area the size of Europe, while Occupied Palestine houses about 7.5 million Zionists 75% of whom are concentrated in Tel Aviv and Haifa metro areas making it far easier for Iran to concentrate its attacks.

Trump And The Truth About International Law

 

Rather like a loyal friend trying to convince a drunk that it is foolish to picj a fight with an 800 pound gorilla, the Trump administration has tried to save Europe from itself, to tell a friend drunk on delusions that it is time to sober up and that the big hairy guy was not 'looking at you a bit funny,like', that's jut the way gorillas look. Government by Virtue - signalling is in a way like being extremely drunk. The short-term high of progressive virtue comes with a long-term hangover of economic ruin, international irrelevance, and total societal collapse. Nowhere is this more abundantly evident than in the welcoming of, and indulgent patronage fading into submissive terror towards, third world Muslim populations who refuse to integrate with Western culture and values.

In the past few weeks, since Trump's Venezuela coup removed Marxist dictator Nicolas Maduro from power, we have been told innumerable times by the more idiotically leftist European and British political pundits that US PresidentDonald Trump and his administration have betrayed ‘international law', the rules based global order’,‘the democratic norms’, NATO, and we are told that they have betrayed their European partners. This outraged screeching has reached a crescendo over the attack on Iran and its theocratic regime which only shows how little leaders of the 'woke' world understand about the threat of Islamic extremism and the uselessness of international law, which is in fact little more than a vehicle to carry us to global authoritarianism.

The first of these ignores the fact that the international rules-based system is a vague set of guidelines and suggestions that has never been formally codified let alone ratified by the world's leading nations, is often ignored by nations outside the cosy coven of Western liberal democracy and of course is meaningless to Communist or Islamic countries, whether the Soviet Union of the past or the China of the present. Even arch-globalist and Donald Trump hater Mark Carney, the banker selected to carry the Canadian-cultural-Marxism torch dropped by Justin Trudeau, admitted that the so - called ‘rules-based system’ that he and other bureaucratic-minded apparatchiks of the globalist way so love has always been riddled with hypocrisies. In fact 'International Law

In an anti-Trump speech delivered at the last Davos World Economic Forum gathering, Carney said: ‘For decades, countries like Canada prospered under what we called the rules-based international order. We joined its institutions, we praised its principles, we benefited from its predictability. And because of that, we could pursue values-based foreign policies under its protection.

‘We knew the story of the international rules-based order was partially false, that the strongest would exempt themselves when convenient, that trade rules were enforced asymmetrically. And we knew that international law applied with varying rigour depending on the identity of the accused or the victim.

‘This fiction was useful, and American hegemony in particular helped provide public goods, open sea lanes, a stable financial system, collective security and support for frameworks for resolving disputes.>/p?

‘So, we placed the sign in the window. We participated in the rituals, and we largely avoided calling out the gaps between rhetoric and reality.’

Carney’s rare act of ‘honesty’ in politics is remarkable for its sleight of hand. He acknowledged that ‘international law’ and the ‘rules-based system’ was a lie, a fiction, all along, backed solely by American power and European convenience. Yet think about how deeply contemptuous you have to be towards actual democracy to say this (we were always lying to you, you know), about being able to say that the rules-based system is a total fiction

Only a fool would suppose that because democracy, say, produces bad governments it must by its nature produce bad government per se; and therefore it's no different to dictatorship. Democracy is much different to dictatorship. Bad governments can be voted out.

So it is with the rules-based order. Yes, it has been much abused, and even hypocritically praised by the abusers. But the only alternative is the force-based order: the arbitrary application of power.

That which is justified by nothing and constrained by less sucks all morality out of both the domestic and international contexts. Democracy? Welcome to the world of Vladimir the Great, elected last time round with a mere 88% of the vote. Just extend the lines to find the natural terminus ... a future of pure power politics, the near-term dominion of China, Russia in the east of Europe, and the collaboration of these to to create a new international order based on their rules.

Human freedom gone, the capacity for peoples to express their own will gone, a life of peace and security under principled constraints on the state gone, a broadly cooperative world system all gone.

This is what force, as the standard for national and international comport, leads us to. It is not a better world. There are two and a half realities depending on what you know to be true.
Those in charge know the full reality, many of them even understand the goals of that reality. [great reset]

They in turn, feed a false reality to their brainwashed voters, paid supporters and protesters. [TDS]

Those with common sense, who have questioned everything their entire lives, have a much finer understanding of reality and see things as they are.

In the US, that means generational, intentional and ridiculous decisions, made by members of Congress $ sponsored by the rich, are responsible, along with the Pres, the UN controlled State Department and other cabinet heads, for the poor state of the nation, including the percent of foreign-born resident, % of the poor, % the uber rich, and of course, 100% annihilation of every God given liberty during Covid. These are the people that knew better than to take a single jab.

In the United Kingdom same as in the US, your officials march to a different drum, lulled you along for generations, taking care of your every need, while making you totally dependent. At least in Europe and the USA we still have some rights, but now know how quickly they can disappear under certain political parties.

A Muslim View Of The Conflict In Iran And Tehran's Theocratic Regime

 

In the past few days we have seen the world divide into the usual binary over the US / Israeli attacks on Iran. People on the more conservative end of the political spectrum are supporting Trump's bid to bring down Iran's brutal, theocratic regime, at the other end leftists are in the streets protesting in support of Iran and Gaza. And in the middle, where the balanced, common sense view of the situation should be is the usual void.

 

Now this blog hsas spent the past few days trying to report on the development of the conflicts and its likely effect on the prospetity and lifestyles of people in the east and west, particularly as, with support from China, Iran has the ability to close the sea route throug the Stait of Hormuz which is vital for oil transportation. 

 

Our neutrality was not because we did not want to take sides, although we always try to avoid taking sides in international squabbles, but because the situation is for more complex than we in the west, with only the limited and extremely biased information provided by mainstream media to inform us, can be aware of.

 

As usual the "We're the god guys, they're the bad guys," approach from both sides is totally inadequate. Fortunately  we spotted this post from somebody who does understand the situation on Facebook and as there is an open invitation toshare the post for information, we bring it to you today.

For days now, I have been watching a strange narrative spreading across Western media and social networks: the claim that the confrontation with the Iranian regime is somehow “Israel’s war” and that the United States was dragged into it.

As a Moroccan Muslim and an Arab who has spent years studying the politics of our region, I can say clearly: this argument is not only false—it is intellectually dishonest.

Let us start with a simple fact. The Islamic Republic of Iran has not spent the last four decades declaring war only on Israel. Its leaders openly speak of fighting the “Great Satan” — the United States — and the “Little Satan” — Israel. For 47 years, their ideology has been built around exporting revolution, destabilizing the Middle East, and spreading militant networks across the region.

This is not an Israeli fantasy. It is Iran’s own declared doctrine.

Iran finances militias, trains terrorist organizations, and builds missile and nuclear capabilities while threatening not only Israel but also Arab countries, American forces, and global stability. From Lebanon to Iraq, from Yemen to Syria, the fingerprints of Tehran are everywhere.

So when the United States acts against that regime, it is not acting on behalf of Israel. It is acting to defend its own strategic interests and the stability of the international system.

The idea that Washington needs to be “manipulated” by Jerusalem into recognizing this threat is absurd. 

Every American administration of the 21st century—Republican or Democrat—has stated clearly that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is a fundamental national security priority.

The debate in Washington has never been about whether Iran is dangerous. The debate has only been about how to stop it.

Some believed diplomacy and concessions would change the behavior of the clerical regime. Others believe that a regime driven by revolutionary ideology and apocalyptic theology will never voluntarily abandon its ambitions.

But pretending that the Iranian threat exists only in Israel’s imagination is a dangerous illusion.

There is also another uncomfortable truth: Iran today is not an isolated regional actor. It is deeply connected to the broader geopolitical challenge facing the West. 

Tehran has become a strategic partner of Russia and an economic partner of China. Chinese purchases of Iranian oil have helped keep the regime alive despite international sanctions, while Iranian drones have played a central role in Russia’s war in Ukraine.

This is not a local Israeli issue. It is part of a global strategic confrontation.

Those who repeat the slogan “this is Israel’s war” are ignoring the obvious: a nuclear-armed Iran would not threaten only Tel Aviv. It would threaten the entire Middle East, including Arab countries, and it would destabilize global security for decades.

And yet, instead of confronting this reality, many prefer to blame Israel. They claim that the Jewish state somehow controls American policy, pushes Washington into wars, or manipulates global politics behind the scenes.

These accusations are not serious geopolitical analysis. They are recycled conspiracy theories that have circulated for generations.

Criticizing governments is legitimate. Debating military decisions is legitimate. But reducing complex strategic decisions to the idea that “Israel controls America” is not criticism—it is propaganda.

Israel does not need to invent the Iranian threat. Iranian leaders themselves have repeatedly called for the destruction of the Jewish state. They openly describe Israel as a country that could be erased with a single nuclear weapon. No responsible nation would ignore such threats.

Standing against the Iranian regime is not about serving Israel. It is about preventing a radical theocracy from acquiring the most dangerous weapons on earth and using them to reshape the Middle East through intimidation, violence, and nuclear blackmail.

If that threat disappears, Israel will be safer. But so will Arab nations, Europe, and the United States.

Recognizing that reality does not require being Jewish or Israeli.

Sometimes it simply requires honesty.

And as an Arab Muslim who believes in stability, sovereignty, and the future of our region, I refuse to repeat narratives that protect the most dangerous regime in the Middle East while blaming the only democracy in the region for defending itself.

With Energy Stocks At End Of Winter Low And Europe Vulnerable To An Energy Crisis, Putin Says Russia May Pull The Plug On Gas Supplies

 

Russia has threatened to cut off  gas supplies to Europe, just as energy reserves are at an end-of-winter low, and as markets experience a spike ‌in energy prices triggered by the Iran crisis. President Vladimir Putin warned of potential action from Russia on Wednesday, linking the possible decision to the European Union wanting to ban purchases of Russian gas and liquefied natural gas. 

 

Oil and gas prices have soared in global commodity markets following the U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran and Tehran's strikes on Gulf Arab neighbours. The conflict has  almost halted the flow of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz through which about 30% of the world's oil passes, ​and forced the shutdown of Qatar’s LNG production and Saudi Arabia’s largest oil refinery.

 

This threat to Europe's energy security comes as Iran tightens its chokehold on the the marine gateway to the Persian Gulf oil ports through the Strait and Trump's Iran regime change strategy for weakening China by taking out its middle east proxy and main supplier of crude oil and petroleum products seems set to turn into another 'forever war' quagmire.

 

It is also worth  thinking about the effect this Iran skirmish would have on China.  Other commentators also seem to be waking up to the idea  this has been part of Trump’s explicit strategy all along. Iran in the Middle East, China in the East, were always the main villains in American eyes. The tariff gambit weakened China enough for them to realise that their economy relies on trade with the West and back off their tactic of disrupting western consumer markets.

That gave Washington space to turn its attention to Iran.  His brash and bombastic smoke-and-mirror tactics in the arctic, Caribbean and middle east were not just to trigger TDS meltdowns in liberals and lefties for the entertainment of people like me. He had to keep foes and allies alike guessing about what he was really up to. 

Trump is now demanding Iran’s unconditional surrender. At last! The only way to break the appeasement stranglehold of the so-called liberal rules-based world order delusion of the Western elites, is the firm hand.Show the upstar BRICS bloc that despite the pussyfooting of a few decades of weak, virtue sgnalling leaders, the west is not finished.

An appeasement strategy and a virtue signalling philosophy of lets-all-be-one-big-happy-global-nation attracts toadies whose inadequacyis quickly exposed when they have to make tough decisions, and they turn into crybullies, coercing their own people into bowing before the threats of tyrants; but it also attracts the amoral charlatan, and the society becomes riddled with bribery and extortion.
