The Disintegration Of The Imminent Climate Catastrophe Psyop

 

Earlier this year President Trump delighted his fans and outraged his opponents by pulling the USA and all its money out of the United Nations Intergoernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Globalists were quick to complain that without American money the climate scaremongering project would be bankrupt.

Trump signed a presidential memorandum in January that pulled the United States from the climate pact and 65 other international organizations and treaties that “no longer serve American interests.” About half of those are United Nations organizations.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement, “As this list begins to demonstrate, what started as a pragmatic framework of international organizations for peace and cooperation has morphed into a sprawling architecture of global governance, often dominated by progressive ideology and detached from national interests,” .

The US withdrawal from on climate cooperation comes as the United States’ main rival on the world stage, China, has come to dominate the clean energy technologies of the future. At the same time, many of the United States’ most powerful allies, including Australia, Britain and the European Union, are also advancing their ambitions to reduce emissions of planet-heating greenhouse gases and ramp up renewable energies. 

Five months later the credibility of the IPCC has been dealt an equally damaging blow with recently-published research showing that 42% of its climate scenarios rely on improbable rises in future temperature that even the UN-funded body believes are of “low likelihood”. The research notes the IPCC admission of the improbability of its scaremongering predictions is “deeply buried” in the full Sixth Assessment Reports (AR6), and is “unlikely to be read by the policy makers”. The authors point out that significant and important sections of the full IPCC work emphasise these improbable claims, “potentially invalidating those sections of the report”.

Climate and emissions outline SSP5-8.5 assumes a rise of around 5°C by the end of the century. That was always somewhat detached from reality and has long been dealt a death blow, given that global warming ran out of steam about 25 years ago.

A recent New York Post (NYP) article, titled “Billions have been wasted on UN’s climate change lies,” describes how vast amounts of Dollars, Pounds, Euros and other major currencies have been spent worldwide attempting to slow or stop the world from experiencing the extreme climate change as forecast by the flawed, but widely used RCP 8.5 computer model projections. The NYP is absolutely correct. The future climate conditions described by the RCP 8.5 high-end emissions scenario, and subsequently cited in hundreds of climate science research papers warning of likely disastrous outcomes, were never going to happen, and all the investment into climate policy has been a total waste.

RCP 8.5 has officially been retired from consideration by official climate researchers at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Opinion writer Jonathan Lesser writes that the IPCC “is responsible for the “climate catastrophe” pseudo science and “the world is burning" predictions that environmentalists, academics and many politicians have promoted to force high-cost, coercive energy policies on the developed nations, which “relied on academics whose careers depended on using RCP 8.5 and several other worst-case scenarios to predict everything from the demise of French wines and the end of pasta to aliens destroying the earth. (No, really.)”

Over the past decade, Wattsupwiththat, The Heartland Institute and Climate Realism have published dozens of articles refuting studies slavishly promoted by various media outlets that relied heavily on computer-modeled emissions scenarios like RCP 8.5 and SSP5-8.5. The stories referenced by Lesser here are familiar; the supposed destruction of French wine (or overproduction!), pasta, and aliens of a different kind, all have been covered and much more.

RCP 8.5 was used to say Gila monsters would be decimated by climate change, that climate change would spread lethal fungal outbreaks around the world, that climate change would cause a dramatic uptick in deaths from sedentary lifestyles, and The Daily Mail went so far as to create AI generated apocalyptic images of the world’s future all based on RCP 8.5 projections.

Scientists have been moving away from promoting RCP 8.5 as the business-as-usual scenario for a while now. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change  abandoned it years ago, yet it has still been regularly used as a realistic high end emissions scenario in hundreds of papers published by prestigious journals like Nature. It never was realistic. It was always implausible and likely impossible, even assuming a rapid, large, and sustained increase in coal consumption – a scenario that would require five times more coal than we actually have reserves of.

Climate scientist Roger Pielke Jr. explains in a Substack post, “A scenario requiring five times proven coal reserves is not plausible by any standard,” and that the scenario also required an increase in the use of coal-to-liquids instead of petroleum and that other technologies would stagnate. None of this was realistic, even at the time the scenario was first created.

Unfortunately many people too busy with work and family life to investigate issues are of the opinion that what comes from the IPCC is “Science”. Those people take the view that if all scientists are saying something (i.e. The science is settled,) then it must be true so  who are they to question these knowledable academics. So they mostly just accept it all.

In fact the opposite is true, we all have a right and a duty to question authority, and the very use of the phrase, "The science is settled," by climate scientists shows they are motivated more by politics than pure scientific inquiry. 

What these people promote isn’t science at all. It is “Official Narrative”. It is computer modelling full of assumptions that don’t match what is actually happening in the real world, and our governments, by attaching a 'science' label to this propaganda are using false authority of “science” to spread irrational fears about the climate, in order to coerce public support for authoritarian, globalist policy like NET ZERO and punitive taxation of fuel consumption. 

Those policies are harmful to our prosperity and well being. They always talk of the risks of using fossil fuels without ever mentioning the risks of NOT using them. Life expectancy has doubled because of those fuels, and there are over a billion people who don’t have them sitting burning dung for heating and cooking dying young from preventable diseases and of back breaking labour. 

Wake up people. Globalist Eco Socialism is NOT science. You are being played for fools.

Forget Renewables, The Strait Of Hormuz Crisis Shows The World Still Runs On Hydrocarbons

The Strait of Hormuz is barely 21 miles wide at its narrowest point with only about 12 miles of that navigable by big ships. Yet this narrow maritime corridor carries one of the greatest concentrations of economic risk on the planet. When tensions flare in the Persian Gulf, the shockwaves  are felt in India,China, Japan, Indonesia and Australia — and ultimately across the entire global economy.

The reason is simple. Roughly one fifth of the world’s oil  and petroleum products passes through the Strait of Hormuz, making it the most critical energy marine chokepoint on Earth. However most of the oil and a lot of the LNG and petroleum products coming out of the strait are headed east towards India, China and Japan rather than turning west towards Europe and the USA. So why is it such a big deal?

Because despite all the huff and puff from the woke brigade Fossil Fuels provide 85% of the worlds energy, the world still runs on oil and gas. Silly countries like the UK and Germany where the governing elites have been captured by the UN and WEF  dogma about destroying the planet by polluting the atmosphere with Carbon Dioxide (CO2) a trace gas on which all life depends, are prepared to impoverish their citizenry,industries and destroy their Industrial Base so as to be the goody two shoes CO2 emissions reduction champions because they are fully aligned with globalist politics like Net Zero. Even now these stupid people are too stubborn to admit they are wrong, oil, gas and other hydrocarbon products are still vital to the global economy. 

A big part of that elitist environmental virtue signalling has ben the ruch among the governments of the west's great manufacturing nations to export manufacturing industries and the jobs and prosperity those industries bring, to the emerging economies of the far east, China, India, Indonesia and others. These are the countries whose tankers the USA claims are moving through the strait. Thus the now consumption driven economies of the west depend for our mnufactured goods on the places the oil, gas, etc. passing through the strait is heading for. 

Discussions on energy policy tend to focus on electricity and getting 'free' energy from 'sustainable' sources like wind and solar, but electricity is only about 15% of energy consumption. Rural France relies heavily on heating oil and LPG, and France imports LNG for its gas grid. So France will be just as affected as other European Countries if the supply line for hydrocarbons remains disrupted.  

But only 2% of petroleum consumed in the USA and zero gas goes past Hormuz. The USA being mostly self-sufficient in oil and gas – so Trump is bothered about Iran's blockade of he Strait Of Hormuz because… ? And now USA has Venezuelan oil too….nice one Trumpie. Only 4% of oil and 10% of LNG transiting Hormuz is bound for Europe. Its closure is no biggy, therefore. It’s the destruction of LNG processing that is the problem for Europe. And Europe: if only there were an alternative supply of oil and gas, like Russia – Oh wait a sec. 

A sensible, pragmatic government would take the present crisis as evidence that we cannot rely on foreign sources of oil and gas, and that we need to exploit the plentiful resources that lie within our territory or beneath the seas surrounding our archipelago. They would get the oilfields and gasfields open and producing. Not the idiots in the present government, they will just use this as “proof” that we need to move away from fossil fuels and rely solely on green energy. They’ll ignore the inconvenient truth that hydrocarbons are necessary as a raw material for a range of vital industries, and that without fossil fuels to back them up, our “renewable” energy sources are a useless ornament when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind  doesn't blow.

Pushback Against Globalism Gathers Strength As Centre - right AfD Advance In Germany

 

 

Leaders of The European Union musth be seeting with rage, despite all their political, propaganda and lawfare efforts to stop the rise of the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), the most hated (by the left and Eurofederalist) political force in Germany, keeps showing robust signs of life, whether in its impressive showing in a state election on Sunday or in a recent courtroom victory. In a regional election on Sunday (8 March), the AfD more than doubled its previous vote share for the parliament of Baden-Württemberg, one of the most prosperous and heavily populated states in western Germany. On February 26, a German constitutional court dismissed a case brought by the country’s domestic spy agency aimed at having AfD,  Germany’s second most popular political party, classified as a “confirmed right-wing extremist” organization. The “confirmed right-wing extremist” designation has been a key tool in the campaign among establishment and left-wing politicians to ban the AfD entirely on grounds that they are a 'threat to democracy.'

This is far - left bollocks of course, it is the AfD’s extremist enemies who seek to ban and censor it, who deny it its parliamentary privileges, who have launched arson attacks against its leaders, and who have assaulted its members. The AfD has done none of these things to its opponents, nor has it called  on supporters to resort to violence against its opponents. AfD has abided by every legal ruling against it, however tendentious. The AfD is Germany’s staunchest supporter of Israel and German Jews; it alone has tried for years to cut off the U.N. slush fund that supports Palestinian terrorism. 

 What makes the AfD so toxic for the globalist left is that its policy portfolio commits the cardinal sin of  making the case that mass migration by semi - educated, unskilled, culturally incompatible third world peasants and labourers who have no intention of integrating into German society is destroying traditional German culture and identity. 

 They also go against the approved narrative by pointing out that Germany’s open-borders policies are saddling the country with a crime- and terror-prone, welfare-dependent, culturally alien population that consumes taxpayer resources while only intermittently giving something back to German society, usually in the form of unwanted sexual attention to German women or trying to give the German car industry back to the by driving into a crowd of German people at a Carnival or Christmas Market . 

Its other crime against democracy is in calling for the enforcement of laws already on the books regarding the deportation of criminal aliens and other migrants who have no right to remain in German society. At its core, its heresy is to assert that a country has a right to decide its level of immigration and resulting culture change, rather than that level being determined by the will of the migrants themselves. 

Ionically the German trying to get AfD banned as a threat to democracy and the EU leaders condemning Trump’s ‘betrayal of democracy’ see it as perfectly normal to levy fines against European nations whose elected leaders defy EU policy (Poland, Hungary), or to enact punitive trade chastisements on nations that elect to leave a supposedly benign and voluntary trading bloc (the UK). 

These same European fans of democracy happily watch the liberal consensus crumble as they increasingly deny their own populations the free speech on which democracy depends, and react with fury to Americans pointing this out. They talk openly about banning parties that don’t follow a globalist line (like the AfD in Germany) or have compliant judges who simply reverse election results they didn’t like (EU and judicial collusion in Greece, Spain, Belgium and Romania).

Trump And The Truth About International Law

 

Rather like a loyal friend trying to convince a drunk that it is foolish to pick a fight with an 800 pound gorilla, the Trump administration has tried to save Europe from itself, to tell a friend drunk on delusions that it is time to sober up and that the big hairy guy was not 'looking at you a bit funny,like', that's jut the way gorillas look. Government by Virtue - signalling is in a way like being extremely drunk. The short-term high of progressive virtue comes with a long-term hangover of economic ruin, international irrelevance, and total societal collapse. Nowhere is this more abundantly evident than in the welcoming of, and indulgent patronage fading into submissive terror towards, third world Muslim populations who refuse to integrate with Western culture and values.

In the past few weeks, since Trump's Venezuela coup removed Marxist dictator Nicolas Maduro from power, we have been told innumerable times by the more idiotically leftist European and British political pundits that US PresidentDonald Trump and his administration have betrayed ‘international law', the rules based global order’,‘the democratic norms’, NATO, and we are told that they have betrayed their European partners. This outraged screeching has reached a crescendo over the attack on Iran and its theocratic regime which only shows how little leaders of the 'woke' world understand about the threat of Islamic extremism and the uselessness of international law, which is in fact little more than a vehicle to carry us to global authoritarianism.

The first of these ignores the fact that the international rules-based system is a vague set of guidelines and suggestions that has never been formally codified let alone ratified by the world's leading nations, is often ignored by nations outside the cosy coven of Western liberal democracy and of course is meaningless to Communist or Islamic countries, whether the Soviet Union of the past or the China of the present. Even arch-globalist and Donald Trump hater Mark Carney, the banker selected to carry the Canadian-cultural-Marxism torch dropped by Justin Trudeau, admitted that the so - called ‘rules-based system’ that he and other bureaucratic-minded apparatchiks of the globalist way so love has always been riddled with hypocrisies. In an anti-Trump speech delivered at the last Davos World Economic Forum gathering, Carney said: ‘For decades, countries like Canada prospered under what we called the rules-based international order. We joined its institutions, we praised its principles, we benefited from its predictability. And because of that, we could pursue values-based foreign policies under its protection.

‘We knew the story of the international rules-based order was partially false, that the strongest would exempt themselves when convenient, that trade rules were enforced asymmetrically. And we knew that international law applied with varying rigour depending on the identity of the accused or the victim.

‘This fiction was useful, and American hegemony in particular helped provide public goods, open sea lanes, a stable financial system, collective security and support for frameworks for resolving disputes.>/p?

‘So, we placed the sign in the window. We participated in the rituals, and we largely avoided calling out the gaps between rhetoric and reality.’

Carney’s rare act of ‘honesty’ in politics is remarkable for its sleight of hand. He acknowledged that ‘international law’ and the ‘rules-based system’ was a lie, a fiction, all along, backed solely by American power and European convenience. Yet think about how deeply contemptuous you have to be towards actual democracy to say this (we were always lying to you, you know), about being able to say that the rules-based system is a total fiction

Only a fool would suppose that because democracy, say, produces bad governments it must by its nature produce bad government per se; and therefore it's no different to dictatorship. Democracy is much different to dictatorship. Bad governments can be voted out.

So it is with the rules-based order. Yes, it has been much abused, and even hypocritically praised by the abusers. But the only alternative is the force-based order: the arbitrary application of power.

That which is justified by nothing and constrained by less sucks all morality out of both the domestic and international contexts. Democracy? Welcome to the world of Vladimir the Great, elected last time round with a mere 88% of the vote. Just extend the lines to find the natural terminus ... a future of pure power politics, the near-term dominion of China, Russia in the east of Europe, and the collaboration of these to to create a new international order based on their rules.

Human freedom gone, the capacity for peoples to express their own will gone, a life of peace and security under principled constraints on the state gone, a broadly cooperative world system all gone.

This is what force, as the standard for national and international comport, leads us to. It is not a better world. There are two and a half realities depending on what you know to be true.
Those in charge know the full reality, many of them even understand the goals of that reality. [great reset]

Those with common sense, who have questioned everything their entire lives, have a much finer understanding of reality and see things as they are.

Trump Dumps United Nations IPCC Climate Scam and WHO Health Tyranny

The White House today published details of 66 international organisations that the USA is to withdraw from by order of President Trump.  Most prominent among these cash eating bureaucracies are the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This pair of incesteous twins have been the main drivers of the global climate agenda, to which the USA has been the major contributor.

 This move, accomplished in Trump's usual audacious and bombastic style, is not the first time Donny has put the boot into the United Nations but is a radical departure from the globalish approach to international policy followed by the previous administation of demented Je Biden and his anonymous, far - left handlers. It is also the result of Elon Musk's assault on federal grant-making schemes under USAID, during his time as head of  DOGE (Department Of Government Efficiency). US withdrawal of its cash and political support for these globalist ventures will impact many policy domains, but it is climate that is perhaps highest up the political agenda.

There is little doubt the impact this will have within the USA and globally. Of the 720 government-appointed authors to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, 74 were American, according to Green Blob lobbying group CarbonBrief. The UNFCCC is the parent organisation of the infamous COP meetings, the most notable of which was Paris in 2015, which set the terms of the current policy framework. In his first term, Trump pulled the USA out of the Paris Agreement, only for that decision to be reversed by Joe Biden as soon as he assumed office in 2021. On re-election, Trump again pulled the USA out of the agreement. And now he has gone much, much further, dissolving the relationship with the process altogether. 

In Executive Order 14155, titled "Withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization",  signed by United States president Donald Trump on January 20, 2025, the first day of his second presidential term. The order directed the withdrawal of the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). 

Commenting on the withdrawal Trump said the global health agency had mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other international health crises. He also accused the WHO of failing to act independently from the "inappropriate political influence of WHO member states" and required "unfairly onerous payments" from the U.S. that were disproportionate to the sums provided by other, larger countries, such as China.

"World Health ripped us off, everybody rips off the United States. It's not going to happen anymore," Trump said at the signing of an executive order on the withdrawal, shortly after his inauguration to a second term.

So that means WHO General Secretary Tedros the Terrorist can forget 'the next pandemic' which he has been planning in collaboration with Bill Gates and other quasi - philantropic grifters.

 

Most people are not fully aware of the extent to which we who think we are citizens of free sovereign nations now live under a series of mob like protection rackets.These supranational bureaucracies are just protection rackets.  The UN, WEF, WHO, CCP, EU are almost indistinguishable in their intent which is to push for creation of a global government and the removal of Western sovereign nations and using methods to destabilise western nations as described by Yuri Bezmenov.

Breaking away from these international protection rackets makes all the sense in the world for Trump who is the ultimate mobster and who clearly carries himself with the intention of being the godfather of all godfathers. For him there is only one protection racket, and that is the United States of America.

OK Trump is not perfect and we Boggart Bloggers are by no definition supporters butat least citizens of the USA are in a clearer position now. There’s always a tradeoff if you give someone else power to exercise on your behalf, but at least they know who has that power – and it’s someone they can remove every 4 or 5 years.

Sadly, it would take a revolution to extricate the UK from the UN and its tentacle organisations.  Our deeply embedded political class is intensely wedded to the idea of globalisation and the erosion of national sovereignty.  

The reason is that the UN is a substantially British project dating back to WWII, which can trace its origins back further with the League of Nations in the aftermath of WWI in the 1920’s.

You only have to look back on the works of prominent thinkers such as H.G.Wells in the 1930’s and Bertrand Russell in the 1950’s to see how these ideas developed.

As this article sets out, the UN was formulated by a committee made up of representatives from the USA, UK and Soviet Union working in the UK Foreign Office, London in 1942 (scroll down a bit for detailed history of its origins.) Despite the high ideals set out in the UN Charter, signed in 1945, the United Nation Organisaion and its many agencies have abandoned the founding principles and become dominated by politically motivated globalist interests.

The practice of terminating pregnancies in which the unborn child is not of the desired sex is not currently listed under the “lawful grounds” set out for an abortion to be considered legal under the UK Abortion Act 1967. However, an expert review published last week has recommended that “any future legislation should not include any explicit prohibition on sex-selective abortion.”

The SNP’s case for abortions based on sex includes “concerns that it would risk ‘racial profiling’ women from particular communities where sex-selective abortion is thought to take place”. Remarkably, the trans-obsessed SNP seems to have suddenly worked out the importance of sex, now that there is an opportunity to violate another safe space for a “cis-woman”, her mother’s womb. 

 Let's be quite blunt about this, we know certain ethnic groups would do this, groups whose primitive coulture holds that male children are of more value than female.  Cultures so deeply rooted in bronze age, tribal superstition they have not worked out that if there are no females for them to marry and have babies with then as long as we don't allow them to bring in foreign brides their tribe will die out.  It would be easy to say OK let them get on with it. Allowing them to live by their own rules is in this case a surefire way of reducing their numbers. China ended up with an overload of males with no one to marry and had to give up the one child policy to grow the population. Let these ethnic minorities who are causing so many problems for Europe go the same way.

Ah, but we are not like these minorities, we know of the low status of women in such primitive and backward cultures, and we know that women, expectant mothers would be allowed no part in choosing whether to terminate a pregnancy because the child would be a girl. We believe that women should have equal rights to men. But apparently, where protected minorities are concerned, the feminists don't, instead they demand virtue signalling governments make special laws to protect the ;rights' of minorities to the extent of turning a blind eye to sex crimes committed by minority males and We The People are expected to conform even though our rights are being curtailed.

 But WTF are the Scottish Nutters Party doing even considering that such blatantly inhuman practices should be made legal. 

Is this the Eugenics movement back again? Killing people of perceived little value to society led to the extension of 'race' in Germany. The Eugenics movement was something pioneered in England pre-war 'as the solution' to combat poverty, reduce the population of the 'lower class' and lives-on in at least one charity called 'Marie Stopes'! 

Or is the aim of powerful globalist organisations with which the SNP has aligned itselfpurely for the oportunities globalism presents to destroy recognisably British culture by any means necessary. The destruction of European culture and its replacement with a global authoritarian government was certainly an important goal as declared by Peter Sutherland, UN Migration Chief, in his 2012 address to the House of Lords when he said it was the duty of all EU leaders to undermine national homogeneity.  

If Western liberals, because the SNP are so lacking in self awareness they imagine their fascistic tendencies are 'liberal', accepted the principle of a merit-based society, then one wouldn’t need legislation about minorities and equality. Through merit many girls/women would prove themselves against boys/men, and obviously viceversa. A natural balance would occur. Sex-selective abortions are needed to keep women in a vulnerable position and affirm male supremacy. The far left have so cpmpletely lost their way that they are now somewhat to the right of Genghis Khan.

The Decline And Fall Of The BBC Empire part1

 

On Sunday 9 November  news broke that Tim Davie had stepped down as BBC Director-General over the misleading editing of a Trump speech, with news chief Deborah Turness also surrendering her lanyard. The Mail had the full story accessible without a paywall. 

 The fall of the BBC had been a long time coming, the decline was apparent by the mid 1990s when it became noticable that interviewees from left leaning organisations or campaign groups for leftist 'sacred cow' clauses were lobbed softball questions and allowed to rant about their personal prejudices while those with more conservative views were constantly interrupted or talked over by interviewers and shouted down by audiences packed with left wing activists.

The BBC appears to have decided at about that time history (particularly anything linked to empire or slavery) and truth are matters of opinion and feeling, rather than empirical facts. It doesn’t matter that slavery has been practised by every culture since the dawn of time; BBC historical output suggests the British Empire is responsible for all of it. No other empires existed and no British white person ever did anything good. In a similar vein, the BBC has never done anything wrong and their current predicament is down to a right wing plot. It is highly reminiscent of Royal nutcase Meghan Markle talking about ‘my truth’, ignoring anything as inconvenient as the actual truth.

For over 25 years people have been complaining about the BBC's evident bias as an institution and yet those of us collectively referred to as alt_media have spent all those years watching and reporting on  The BBC's slide into very conscious bias in favour of a globalist agenda,  no less so than the comment made by The BBC that they no longer have to provide balance when writing articles programming about their official "climate change" position. 

Time after time people have tried to highlight how The BBC website demonstrates 100% bias when moderating "Have Your Say" comments (on the subject THEY select which are often very selective too) - how they ban people from making comments without telling them. It has been proved, dozens of times, that BBC moderators allow highly contentious comments often using very abusive language, to be published. 

The topics on which free expresion of opinion was suppressed included criticism of or opposition to establishment naratives on mass immigration, net zero, gay and trans issues, anything related to Islam but particularly grooming gangs, climate change, vaccines, asylum seekers, and race relations policy.   

Conversly anything anti Tory, anti Reform, anti Trump and others of similar ilk, anti Brexit, anti Russia, anti Semitic, anti Christian or anti British could be completely anti - factual and even slanderous or libellous. 

The BBC has no defence against accusations of bias because they censored some posts but allowed others which used used the same insulting language or misrepresentation of facts. Such corporate behaviour over several decades is one of the reasons people are abandoning mainstream news.

The 19-page dossier compiled by Michael Prescott, and now in the public domain due to the Daily Telegraph being brave enough to take on the behemoth that our state broadcaster had become leaves no room for doubt. Veteran journalist Prescott was appointed as independent adviser to the BBC’s Editorial Guidance and Standards committee (ESGC) three years ago following publication of the Dyson report into the BBC deception connected with the notorious and now discredited Martin Bashir interview of Prince Diana.

Prescott’s detective work into Panorama’s doctored edit of Trump’s speech found that this was not merely human error or an error of judgment but a conscious falsification with now published emails revealing beyond doubt there was intent to discredit Trump and prop up false allegations made against the once and future President. Prescott reported this to the ESGC but they did nothing.

He was so frustrated that he then compiled the 19-page dossier which chronicled a newsroom culture where bias is hard-baked into the fabric of the newsroom, dissent is punished, and truth is doctored at the whim of the Corporation. His findings included that BBC Verify – supposedly founded by Davie and Turness as a bulwark against ‘fake’ news’ – produced fake ‘race bias’; BBC Arabic parroted Hamas propaganda, and gender-critical reporters were censored by Stonewall-aligned editors.

And where have successive governments been while the state broadcaster has transformed itself into the propaganda arm of the wannabe world government? Looking away. Every administration since Blair has promised reform and delivered none. They have merely tinkered ineffectually with elements of the BBC Charter.
