Since we last reported on the student riots in France things have gone from bad to worse.Violence has spilled out of the school yard and to the streets as far-Left protesters clashed with police amid warnings that demonstrators have been told to “bring knives” and “stab civilians”.
In Paris, police were reported to have using tear gas and pepper spray on protesters in the centre of the capital city. Riot cops covered in body armour used shields and batons to push back demonstrators. Rennes, police used water cannon against protesters who were blockading the streets.
French newspaper Le Parisien reported that some influencers are using social media to urge their followers to “bring knives” and “stab civilians in the crowd” outside the Couffignal high school in Strasbourg. Police sources told the newspaper that they had received reports concerning potential violence during blockades outside schools in the French city.
Students have been joined on the barricades by tens of thousands of far left activists as France’s powerful trade unions will join far-Left student protests. Authorities are expecting some 20,000 to 40,000 demonstrators in Paris today (October 7), while they added that nearly 90,000 protesters took to the streets of the rest of the country.
Weeks of pupil blockades protesting against failing school conditions have in recent days escalated into violent clashes with police across hundreds of campuses as the Macron government, on the brink of collapse for three years, falls apart.
”Saint-Denis, Aubervilliers and Pantin were among the centers of the unrest in Seine-Saint-Denis, northeast of Paris. Immigrants accounted for roughly 32% of the department’s population in 2020–2021, according to national statistics agency INSEE. French-born residents with at least one immigrant parent accounted for a further 32%.”
France is not much different to the UK, just a bit ahead in the descent into civil unrest, violence and lawlessness. As is happening here in England the population is getting out of control because the ruling establishment has failed miserably. They’ve neglected to do their duty which is uphold the law and protect the country and its borders and have wasted their time instead with pointless, useless, ultimately destructive things like climate change, open borders and ultra progressive social projects. Now there are gunfights between rival crime gangs, illegal immigrant camps in elegant city squares and a general collapse of the social order.
Now it is starting to look as if the government, having lost the trust of the governed, are prepared to use their heavy hand and will probably do it all wrong again – punish the wrong people, let off people who should be locked up.
They are barely good enough to do the minimum job that is required of them. But if they insist on doing other pointless stuff instead, this is what they end up with.
