Former NATO Boss Explains Why US Did Not Oppose ISIS 'With Extreme Prejudice'

Gen Wesley Clark (image source)

Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, General Wesley Clark, now retired from the US Army opened up in an interview with CNN to reveal that the Islamic State (Daesh, ISIS, ISIL, those crazy ragheads ...) and the Islamic (Sunni) Caliphate they want to establish is strategically imperative to Sunni Muslim regional powers Turkey and Saudi Arabia, as they try to economically isolate Shi’a ruled nations, Syria, Iraq, and Iran. He explained that neither Turkey nor Saudi Arabia want an Iran-Iraq-Syria-Lebanon ‘bridge’ that separate Turkey, from Saudi Arabia and the gulf states.

Let’s be very clear: ISIS is not just a terrorist organization; it is a Sunni terrorist organization. That means it blocks and targets Shi’a. And that means it’s serving the interests of Turkey and Saudi Arabia — even as it poses a threat to them.” — Retired Gen. Wesley Clark

Asked if Russian President Vladimir Putin’s accusation that Turkey was “aiding ISIS” had any validity, Clark answered:

“All along there’s always been the idea that Turkey was supporting ISIS in some way. We know they’ve funneled people going through Turkey to ISIS. Someone’s buying that oil that ISIS is selling; it’s going through somewhere — it looks to me like it’s probably going through Turkey — but the Turks haven’t acknowledged that.” (Video of the Wesley Clarke interview)

After explaining how Turkey provides a conduit for the Islamic State’s oil, Clark pointed out that Putin’s allegations about Turkey’s support for terrorist organization, ISIS, are somewhat hypocritical. Russia, of course, has been propping up the Assad regime in Syria against rebel groups that were being armed and trained by the U.S. government for which the overthrow of Assad was part of a long term agenda aimed as helping US Ally Saudi Arabia become the main regional power in the middle east. U.S. officials deny that that overthowing Assad has been its primary objective in the region, but leaked emails and information form whistleblowers and intelligence sources in Europe say otherwise.

As Clarke said in his closing remarks, there are no good guys in this conflict.

We Know What Inspired The Manchester Attack, We Just Won't Admit It

In the wake of the Manchester arena bombing, politicians, public servants and the media warned against blaming the Muslim community. I had to defriend someone on Facebook [... ] My blogged response to the Manchester Arena bombing was that we should get angry, not at Muslims in general, but at the politicians, and law enforcement officers who time and again have failed to act against suspected (and sometimes known,) terrorists ...

Over 4000 Civilians Have Died In Forgotten War.
As attention has focused on Syria ans then on the efforts of the Obama administration, in its dying months, to avenge the defeat of the anointed successor Hillary Clinton and discredit the election victor and President - elect Donald Trump, and simultaneously demonize Russia and President Putin

ISIS: Know Your Enemy - Who Of Those We Think Are On Our Side Is Helping ISIS

Who is funding ISIS, how has the terror group managed to assemble such a large, well equipped and (apparently) well fed fighting force and been able to wage a two year war against the Assad regime in Syria, the forces of the autonomous Kurds and the army of the Iraqi government, such as it is? Who is facilitating their illegal oil trade that is keeping Islamic State afloat.

To Join Obama's Proxy War Against Russia In Syria Would Be Cameron's Greatest Folly

A look at our prospects should tway - boy Cameron succeed in obtaining parliament's approval for his wish to join Obama's coalition ofg dodgy political opportunists in their attempt to overthrow Syria's President Assad. Given that Putin has said many times, Assad stays, our outdated war planes don't stand an ice cube in hell's chance against Russian S34s and Growler Surface to Air missiules (SAMs). And that's without factoring in China's pledge to support it's allies Putin and Assad.

ISIS Oil expopse "Raqqa's Rockefellers", Bilal Erdogan, KRG Crude, And The Israel Connection

More on how the USA and its allies Israel and Turkey have been central to the criminal business of stealing oilf from wells rightflly owned by Iraq and the autonomous Kurdish region and laundering it through Turkey into western markets and how the Turkish crook President Recep Edrogan is making hundreds of millions of dollars from the trade.

ISIS: Know Your Enemy - Who Of Those We Think Are On Our Side Is Helping ISIS
Here at last is the story behind the shooting down of a Russian military jet by Turkey's air force. It will also answer questions about how ISIS can afford all those Toyota pick up trucks, but it is not pleasant reading for people in the west who just want to hear that the good guys are winning

Turkish Warplanes Shoot Down Russian Su24 Near Syrian Border

Hot news from the middle east all day today, it looks like what we all feared is about to happen as Turkish and Russian warplances clash, with Turkey shooting down a Russian fighter and then a gang of insane religious fantatics (or moderate Syrian rebels as Barack Obama calls them) shoot down the helicopter Russian officers sent to rescue their downed planes crew.
