Oxford University Introduces Mandatory ‘Cultural Appropriation’ Classes

One of the oldest and most respected colleges, Magdalen, at Oxford, Britain's oldest university has become the first to introduce the currenly fashinable idiocy from Ameroca's west coast, compulsory racial awareness classes to ensure ethnic minorities are not offended by anything, ever.

Magdalen College students have voted to require all first-years to attend sessions which will cover racism, ‘institutional racism’, ‘cultural appropriation,’ and implicit bias.

According to a report in The Telegraph, students will learn about how to "participate effectively in fighting racism for both BME [Black and Minority Ethnic] and non-BME students". Well, we supose expecting such morons to lean anything useful is just unreasonable

Farheen Ahmed, Oxford Student Union’s Vice President for Welfare and Equal Opportunities, said she welcomed the move as "an important part of bringing the conversation about race and ethnicity into the wider consciousness". Well yes, that's very nice fereed, but WTF are you studying that involves the conversation about race and ethnicity? Or do you plan to get your degree in Politically Correct bullshite and take a job in some QUANGO where being from a minority counts for far more than abilty to contribute anything.

The student paper Cherwell notes: "The University is becoming increasingly aware of the need to prioritise student voices on issues of race, as seen in the establishment of various groups to handle such concerns".

Implicit bias, apparently, is when people are accidentally or unknowingly discriminatory or racist to minority groups, or when they are influenced by stereotypes. Cultural appropriation is the adoption of the customs, practices, or ideas of a culture, which is not said to be authentic or sensitive enough to minority groups. OK, so blacks will abandon cutlery and crockery and eat food with their fingers from banana leaves? All ethnic minorities will eschew electrical goods, vehicular transport, modern heating and plumbing and western style clothing and these all belong to European and north American culture. Oh sorry I forgot, they're students and therefore far too stupid and sheep like to have thought that through.

In some of last year's more idiotic examples of student intelligence fails, Magdalen College was criticised for a 1920s-themed ball after complaints that it could cause offense to female and ethnic minority students on the basis that "people of colour and women were entirely absent from college spaces" during the time period.

Oxford’s Lincoln college was accused of "cultural appropriation" over its New Orleans-themed ball, with students claiming it promotes "nostalgia for an era steeped in racism."

Oxford students voted to create a "Class Liberation Officer" to protect the working classes from “microaggressions” such as being called a "chav".

Obviously Magdelen is determined to preserve its reputation for elitism, the offsping of working class families would never put up with this kind of bullshit.

There appears to be no end in sight to Germany's crisis of democracy as the European Union's most populous and economically powerful state continues to stumble along without an effective government. Coalition talks between Chancellor Merkel's CDU/CSU and the left wing Greens and classical liberal Free Domocrats have stalled over irreconcilable policy demands.

This government paralysis has continued since the September vote failed to produce a viable coalition. As frustration grows among voters over potential partners’ inability to come to an agreement, desire among the voting public for another election grows. Merkel is reluctant to take this course as the political establishment fear it will lead to further massive gaines for the anti - immigration, anti EU party Alternatif fur Deutschland (AfD). The bureaucratic dictatorship in Brussels which effectively controls the EU is determined to stop any anti - EU party becoming part of a ruling coalition and has caused similar crises in Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands and Austria by trying to defy the will of the people.

Sixty eight per cent of Germans, in a recent poll, said they now favour another election if the so-called ‘Jamaica coalition’ fails to materialise, reports Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen.

Just 29 per cent of Germans oppose another election — and even if the present coalition talks succeed, just 50 per cent said they favoured it taking power. It certainly seems the incompatibility of the Greens and Free Democrats would make stable government impossible.

The idea of a fresh set of elections has been labelled as a disaster for Germany’s political establishment, as admitting coalition talks had failed would be a signal of the incapacity of democratically elected parties, Senior CDU politician and current Schleswig-Holstein Minister President Daniel Günther has said.

Top EU negotiators have opted for a position that would rewquire Britain to be subject to the authority of the Union while having none of the benefits of membership.

His speech, which also confirms that the Conservative government is seeking a so-called transition period of “about two years”, will come as a surprise to Leave voters who hoped Brexit could usher in radical change and reform before 2020.

The 68-year-old framed his remarks in terms of Britain not turning isolationist, stating: “I read [in the German press] that ‘Britain wants to isolate itself’, that we are ‘short-sighted islanders’ … Well, I’m afraid I have to disagree.

"We are the same country we have always been. With the same values and same principles we have always had. A country upon which our partners can rely." In fact it is the EU that is isolationist in spite of their professed support for globalism. The suffocating burden of EU bureaucracy make it almost impossible for many third world countries to do business with customers in the EU while compliance costs EU firms so much their products cannot compete in export markets.

Elaborating on the EU's (for EU reasd Germany and France,) controversial transition deal proposals, David said that the Tory government envisages it as a period in which Britain retains "both the rights of a European Union member and the obligations of one, such as the role of the European Court of Justice," and "staying in all the EU regulators and agencies" during that period.

This means the Tories plan on leaving Britain’s relationship with the bloc completely unchanged — except that it may lose its representation in the European Parliament — until at least 2021. The EU is still refusing to compromise on its demands that Britain's relationship with the EU will remain unchanged in perpetuity.

Top German MEP Hans-Olaf Henkel, himself a former head of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), said he believes that Berlin — like Michel Barnier and Guy Verhofstadt — wants "unconditional surrender" from Britain on everything from the ECJ to the divorce bill, and that this attitude may lead to talks collapsing.

The European Union (EU) believes that the best possible outcome of Brexit talks is a limited Canada-style trade deal with the UK, leaked documents from the Commission have revealed. Brussels officials believe the UK’s insistence on leaving the Single Market and European Court of Justice (ECJ) means that a deeper relationship cannot be achieved, contrary to the promises of British politicians.

The EU document, leaked to the Politico website, stated that "single market arrangements in certain areas" or the "evolution of our regulatory frameworks" could not be managed within EU law as it stood.

The UK would have to be satisfied with a "standard FTA (free trade agreement)", the paper adds.

Britain’s desire for “regulatory autonomy” and wish to be free of ECJ rulings mean it is “not compatible” as a partner within the EU framework, it is claimed. In other words the EU sees their desired outcome as Britain leaving the EU in name only but continuing to contribute financially and be subject to EU regulatory authority. NO DEAL then.

Eastern Europe Sold Down The River By brussels Euronazis

Defense and foreign ministers from 23 European Union countries signed up to a plan to establish the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO), which will allow countries to cooperate more closely on security operations and building up military capability.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini described the signing of PESCO as a "historic moment in European defense."

The decision to launch PESCO indicates Europe's move towards self-sufficiency in defense matters instead of relying solely on NATO. The EU, however, also stressed that PESCO is complimentary to NATO, in which 22 of the EU's 28 countries are members.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed the launch, saying that he saw it as an opportunity to "strengthen the European pillar within NATO." Stoltenberg had previously urged European nations to increase their defense budget.

"I'm a firm believer of stronger European defense, so I welcome PESCO because I believe that it can strengthen European defense, which is good for Europe but also good for NATO," Stoltenberg said.

This can only underline what an enormous threat to world peace and national sovereignty the EU has become and how right Brtish voters were to vote for Brexit. Referring to a statement Mr Obama made in the Telegraph on Friday in which he said: “The European Union doesn’t moderate British influence – it magnifies it,” she responded: “Unfortunately this opinion betrays a woeful ignorance of the practical reality of the EU’s impact on our security, and the interests of the U.K. and the US.”

US Aiding Massive Genocide in Yemen at Behest of Saudi Arabia

As usual The Daily Stirrer was moths ahead of the mainstream in reporting this.

Civilians in Yemen are still in the grip of a major humanitarian crisis as Saudi Arabia's war on the impoverished republic continues unabated. Shocking numbers are affected including 7 million civilians facing severe malnutrition, and 19 million out of the country’s 27 million population "in need of some form of aid." However, all of this is made worse by the Saudis having imposed a blockade on humanitarian support. It effectively genocide and yet the United Nations does nothing and the USA and NATO allies impose sanctions on nations which try to help Yemen.

Yemen has been devastated by more than two years of brutal civil war, with Sunni Muslims loyal to the oppressive regime, supported by the Saudi Arabian government's well equipped military and politically by the United States. President Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi’s government is backed by the Saudi-led coalition and is fighting to drive the Shi'ite Houthi rebels out of cities they seized in 2014 and 2015.

Since the beginning of the conflict, US support for Saudi Arabia in Yemen, started by Obama and continued by Trump, thousands of innocent civilians—including children—have been slaughtered by American and European manufactured weapons. In spite of the fact that the Saudis have been caught dropping US bombs on schools, hospitals, and marketplaces, (remember the faux outrage from liberal media and politicians when Assad's forces were accused of doing that in Syria, even though a blind, deaf and dumb person could have seen those alleged atricities were false flag events.) The Saudis and their mercenaries have been directly targeting civilians yet the US and NATO continue to support the side controlled by the Saudis.

Last week, Houthi rebels in Yemen launched a ballistic missile toward the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh. In response to the attack which killed no one, the Saudis placed a blockade on all flights in Yemen, including humanitarian aid. The blockade has stopped the flow of the much needed medical supplies and the food for which millions of Yemenis are desperate and if not reversed will cause the largest genocide by starvation in modern history.

After briefing the UN Security Council last week, Mark Lowcock, the UN’s humanitarian chief, said the move will worsen a "catastrophic" humanitarian crisis that has pushed millions to the brink of famine and has caused a mass cholera epidemic, reports Al Jazeera. It is a safe bet however that three permanent members of the Security Council, Britain, France and USA will veto any move for actionagainst the Saudis.

“I have told the Council that unless those measures are lifted … there will be a famine in Yemen,” Lowcock, who visited Yemen late in October, told reporters last week. “It will not be like the famine that we saw in South Sudan earlier in the year, where tens of thousands of people were affected. It will not be like the famine which cost 250,000 people their lives in Somalia in 2011,” he added.

In spite all this being common knowledge, for three years the West has seen what was happening yet stood on the sidelines and refused to act. Strangely the same nations were eager to get involved in Syria and Ukraine until it became clear the price would be confrontation with Russia. Children are starving by the thousand in Yemen because of a US / NATO policy of supporting Saudi Arabia no matter what war crimes and human rights abuses the primitive theocracy is guilty of. All Western nations are complicit as is the United Nations by not only failing to step in and stop it but actually aiding it.

Big Trouble Looms For Merkel As German Government Coalition Talks Collapse In Chaos

Following September's inconclusive election in Germany, the government has been paralyzed as Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrat Union and their traditional allies the Christian Social Union which only operates in Bravaria,  have been locked in negotiations with the classical liberal Free Democrats and the loony left Greens in an attempt to form a "Jamaica coalistion," a refrerence to the fact that the campaign colours of the three parties reflect the flag of Jamaica.

Senior CDU politician and current President of the Schleswig-Holstein provincial government, Daniel Günther tried to rally members of the party saying that a coalition deal between the CDU/CSU, the libertarian Free Democrats, and the Green Party must be agreed on soon as another election could be a disaster for the party.

Günther appealed to CDU negotiators to concede more to the left-wing Greens on asylum seeker issues or they may trigger a snap election which, he said, would fuel the continued rise of "extremism",  Der Spiegel reports.

When he refers to extremism Günther means the anti - immigration, Eurosceptic AfD (Alternative for Deutschland) party, which is actually not extreme in the way the Greens are extreme

A new election, “would be a signal of the incapacity of democratically elected parties and be a breeding ground for extremists”, Günther said, revealing his party fears another election would result in massive gains for the anti-mass migration party which in September’s election came from nowhere to be the third largest party in the Bundestag. Other right wing political groups in Germany have no significant support.

Much of the current dispute stems around asylum seekers. The Greens have insisted that failed asylum seekers from Afghanistan should not be deported because the country is too dangerous, while Merkel promised last year that she would seek to increase deportations of illigal immigrants and failed asylum seekers.

Despite the promise, very few asylum seekers have been deported and Horst Seehofer, head of the CDU’s sister party the Bavarian Christian Social Union (CSU), said that large-scale deportations were "almost impossible".

Last month, CSU negotiator Alexander Dobrindt accused the Greens of deliberately attempting to stall the negotiations in the hope that Mrs. Merkel would be desperate enough to give in to all their extreme left wing demands. This of course would drive the Free Democrats to quit the coalition.

“The Greens provoke the failure of Jamaica. Anyone who presents their arguments completely without regard to the refugee crisis, the polarisation in our country, the resulting electoral successes of the AfD, and the tensions in Europe, seems to have no serious interest in forming a government,” he said. The Green's attitude is typical of a Marxisty party of course, ideology is all, the concerns of citizens are irrelevant.

The latest polling shows the CDU / CSU still with a comfortable lead and the AfD in third, but a collapse of the coalition talks could shake up the political landscape and some say it would be unlikely that Angela Merkel cold continue as leader of the party should a snap election be called.
