Christianity’s Decline Has Not Ushered In A Scientific Utopia But Why Has Prof. Dawkins Come Out As A Cultural Christian.

 When his best selling non - fiction book 'The God Delusion' was causing multiple sensationalist responses in print and broadcast mediaalmost 20 years ago Richard Dawkins was for a time the star of the New Atheism movement. Now, his having spoken of being a cultural Christian is is causing consternation amongst militant atheists, progressives and The Church of Scientism cult.

Dawkins latest position should surprise nobody, he has spoken of his “cultural Christianity” before, without defining how he, as an individual, defines this Cultural Christianity. I can give you my take on the question because like many people who have passed their seventieth year, I was baptized in the Christian religion (though even if anybody had asked if it was what I wanted, at around six weeks old I was not capable of giving informed consent,) began my education at the age of five in a Church of England school, the only school available in a small Shropshire village. So no matter whTat direction any of my generation took when able to make our own choices we are all Cultural Christians in an allegedly Christian nation and the formation of our mopral compass was influence by what are wrongly called Judeo - Christian values. Throughout our lives, people of my genertation have witnessed the decline of Christianity as societies became more open and liberal and the questioning of Christian dogma became socially accepatable. Thus when I referred above to England (Britain if you like, though Scotland and Wales are culturally different from we English,) it was because even as late as the early 1960s there was a social stigma attached to openly rejecting Christianity, so it could never be known how many people truly believed in the Christian faith and how many simply paid lip service to the beliefs of their inherited religion. New Atheism, a fashionable ideology in the fin - de - siecle madness of the 1990s was wrong in crucial respects, but was a predictable reaction to the nonsensical religious philosophy of Christian churches, a mish mash of myths and parables from a variety of belief systems and cults from the middle east and scross Europe. Where New Atheism was mistaken was that it failed to understand the role and importance of some kind of common belief system in human communities. In predicting that following religion's decline the developed world would transform into some kind of enlightened utopia in which, as one boy scientist on a site I was involved in phrased his vision, "Humanity would abandon superstition and magical thinking and we would all live scientifically." And though people who thought like that, science has taken on many aspects of a religious cult, particularly in its approach to vaccination and climate change. New Atheism assumed that, as people abandoned Christianity they would embrace a secular position and line up behind the kind of philosophical position described by Dawkins in "The God Delusion." It is not surprising then that many are shocked to read or hear of Dawkins himself saying that maybe the Christian belief system (as opposed to the many Christian religions,) had something going for it, but when we see the zel with which many people have embraced 'net zero', BLM, The Green New Deal, Globalism and Transgenderism, it is easy to see why the professor might have changed his punlic position on secular (Cultural) Christianity.

I understand what Richard Dawkins is saying but his self description as a cultural Christian has no more meaning than my describing myself as a 'paganistic humanist - and no, you can't join because I haven't worked out what, if anything, it means.

Christianity might have a chance of survival if it could get rid of the Jesus fairy tales (or at least did not require grown ups to profess belief in them,) and admit it's 'Judeo - Christian' values are just borrowings from the Greeks, North - European pagans, Zoroasdtrians, and Hinduism / Buddhism.

The purpose of tribal religions to our neolithic and Bronze Age ancestors was to hold the tribes or clans together through common values and a shared moral compass. Unfortunately the Abrahamic religions killed that aspect of religion because the sole aim was to focus power and wealth in the hands of the priesthood.

Many people will disagree with that statement, some saying that the purpose of the Abrahamic relions is to reconcile humanity to the ways of God the Creator while others will reminds me that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and the puropse of whorship is to redemm our souls. To any of them, and others I say just take a look at the lavish splendour of the medieval cathedrals in Europe, built at enormous cost while ordinary people were living in squalour and starving. Christianity cannot wipe out its brutal and amoral past with pious platitudes.

Then there are the Creationists. I enjoy a good debate and would always be willing to consider a well argued case for Intellihent Design, but if one tries to engage on the topic the opposing premise will be, "But surely you must see that all thw wonders of our world and the Universe xould not have come about by accident, they could only have been created.

Time is a human construct, the universe has always been here doing what it does. Big Bang theory was created by theoretical physicists who believed the secrets of the universe could be found in mathematics explanations when they discovered their mathematical explanations needed a point from which to start calculating. That is speculation of course, with no more had evidence to support it than any creation myth. Where creationists fall down is in floating the idea that an imaginary god could have created anything real.

I have long been aware of the pointlessness of trying to discuss the supernatural claims of the religious as logic tends to go out the window. Even the simple question: ‘Why are you a Christian? ‘ poses a major problem because like myself the vast majority did not become Christians having evaluated all other religions. Needless to say, this applies to the other Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Islam, because the vast majority of their followers were born into them and stay in the faith for reasons which though valid, family, community etc.) are nothing to do with a literal belief in the god or the scriptures. Hinduism is somwhat different, although Hindus are born into the system their concept of the divine does not require them to have absolute faith in imaginaty spirits.

Another point to reflect on is that the belief systems of these religions can be poles apart though the priestly caste claim they worship the same god. For example in Christianity Jesus is seen as the son of God and only through him can you enter the Kingdom of Heaven. In contrast Judaism and Islam just see him as just another human prophet. Even within Christianity itself, opposite and incompatible ideas exist. While Roman Cathloics and European Protestants belive Jesus is the actual son of God, the Eastern ortodoc churches take a different view, while Coptic, Ethiopian and Sycriac Christians have a different belief again. As Christian belief has to be absolute, they can't all be right. But they can all be wrong.

Moreover, all the sacred scriptures of major religions were based on oral traditions passed down over centuries and are highly questionable, for example the Christian gospels were written years after the death of Jesus death, and not by the Aramaic speaking disciples of Jesus as many believe, but by Greek speaking educated scribes.

While highlighting these points I still understand why a religious belief is important to many as it serves as ‘something to hold onto’ or provides a comforting feeling that there is some stabilising force, in a tough and troubled world and so I respect peoples' right to their faith. But if it is the faith rather than the name of the god or the content of the creed that is important surely then we have to respect paganism, Sikhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism and Shamanistic Animism as equals and drop claims to be 'The one true Church'.

Sweden to Force Christian Priests of All Denominations to Conduct Gay Marriages?

In the Swedish governments latest insult to all that is sane in western democracy, Sweden's Fascist Prime Minister Stefan Lofven has announced his government will force all priests in the Swedish church to marry same-sex couples even if they disagree with with same sex marriage.

The Swedish Prime Minister outlined his new politically correct idiocy in a recent interview saying, "no priest in the Swedish Church can refuse to marry same-sex couples." Mr Lofven argued that it did not matter what the view of the individual priests was and even supports a motion to only allow priests who agree with same-sex marriage the opportunity to be ordained SVT reports.

We wonder if the government, which refuses to prosecute immigrants for rape in the nation that now holds the title of Europe's rape capital will be planing to impose his new law on Imams and Mullahs too, or are the famous double standards of the left going to apply as usual to Muslims.

The Lutheran Church of Sweden, the official state state church, has a form of parliament with elected officials, which recently committed to performing same-sex marriages.

Though the synod made that pledge, it did not require individual priests to carry out the weddings if they had personal moral objections. The church currently allows priests to refuse to perform weddings, baptisms, and funerals for any reason. Under Lofven's fascistic law they will be able to refuse to marry mixed sex couples for any reason even if it is simply because the priest does not like the look of them, but not because the couple to be married do not conform to The Biblical definition of who can be married to whom.

The Swedish Prime Minister wants the commitment to perform same sex weddings to include individual priests and says that his party, the ruling Social Democratic Party, agrees with him.

Sweden legalised gay marriage in 2009 but the legislation, justly, did not compel clergy of individual faiths to perform same-sex marriages. Obviously if priests can be compelled by law to marry same sex couples, then by the same criteria they can be forced to marry brothers and sisters.

The Swedish church is known throughout the globe as one of the most slavishly devoted to politically correct dogma in the Christian world. The church's stance on many issues has raised eyebrows from many outsiders.

One incident involving the lesbian Bishop of Stockholm Eva Brunne caused a large controversy when she announced that she would be taking down crosses in churches in order to give Muslims a place to pray instead. The sheer stupidity of this is gobsmacking as is the ignorance.

Other members of the church have also been criticised for their statements including priests Peter Englund and Helena Myrstener who said that Swedes should stop celebrating their “poisonous” national holiday.

The pair, who come from the heavily migrant-populated city of Malmo in southern Sweden, argued, “Patriotism has its roots in the patriarchal thinking that celebrates traditional masculinity as strength, competition, inequality, and reduces men to soldiers, and women to mothers. It goes without saying that this does not create good conditions for a world without borders.”

So from that can we conclude the Swedish church approves of the gang rapes (1),(2),(3), of Christian women that have been rife in the country because hooray for multiculturalism. The examples we link to are only three among many.)

Later this year the General Synod of the Church will have elections in which the anti-mass migration populist Sweden Democrats (SD) will field candidates. Sweden will also have a national election in 2018 and recent YouGov polling shows the SD as the largest and most popular party in the country.

However we expect some establishment stitch up to deny the will of the people and preseve the status quo. The elites would be well suited by the social chaos that must ensue if the current policy of flooding European nations with ignorant, illiterate immigrants who have no intention of integrating into European societies or even respecting the laws and traditions of their host nations. A breakdown of law and order in working class areas would not affect the wealthy very much, and ignorant people are much more easily manipulated.

Sweden's immigration policy amounts to national suicide, the emasculation of their men by screeching feminists, the subjugation of all things rational by a cultural Marxist government and a citizenry who refuse to act to defend their communities because they are so brainwashed they believe to be accused of racism is worse than to stand by and watch Swedish girls being raped by incomers. Sweden, like France, now exists in name only, it handed over the keys of the country to the brutal tyranny of Islam, it is close to bankruptcy from feeding and housing the illiterate, unskilled, lazy, work shy and basically unemployable welfare hounds who hail from North and Sub Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Sweden opened the first male rape clinic in the world last year, while many women do not report being rapeed by imigrant men because they fear being accused of racism.

So, let us sit back and watch the cruellest spectacle Europe since Nero offered the Plebs bread and circuses, as Sweden makes preparations for its own demise. We must also prepare to accept the surviving indigenous Swedes as they run for shelter to any country willing to accept them, members of the ruling elite being unanimous in declaring there is no such thing as ethnic Swedish and the country now belongs to immigrants. A few countries in Eastern Europe are currently doing just that for the few who woke up in time, but when the flood comes we will also have to take our share of them. But Sweden is only the first to have become infected, Britain's Lsabour Party under the idiot Corbyn would go down the same road were we ever foolish enough to vote them back into power. African Immigrant Arrested After Vandalizing Churches in Rome

Italian News Reports tell us that police in Rome have arrested an African immigrant after the man went on a crime spree, vandalising four churches in Rome, demolishing statues and knocking over candlesticks and reliquaries.

The 39-year-old immigrant from Ghana began his campaign of wanton destruction on Friday evening, rampaging round the church of San Martino ai Monti, shattering valuable statues and artefacts. When confronted by the parish priest, he fled the premises.


The attacker quickly located and entered another church, the ancient Basilica of Santa Prassede,which was full of visiting pilgrims at the time.  There he smashed statues of the church’s patron as well as a statue of Saint Anthony to the ground before stamping on them and kicking them. He damaged other sacred objects and ripped a large crucifix from the wall.

The assailant was trying to destroy the main crucifix over the church's altar when Father Pedro Savelli, rector of the Basilica, grabbed him by the leg. “At least that I managed to stop him from doing that,” the priest said.


Witnessing the frenzied attack, the pilgrims scattered. 

“I don’t know if he was a terrorist,” Father Savelli told reporters, “but there was certainly a huge lack of respect for religion, a very serious action.”

The Ghanaian continued his frenzy of destruction on Saturday, vandalizing another ancient church, that of San Vitale, before ransacking the church of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini in Piazza d’Oro. The damage to San Vitale was the most serious among the four raids, several precious statues being damaged beyond repair.

Descriptions of the man provided by witnesses enabled police to track him down in Rome’s historic district, and arrest him on charged of vandalism with the aggravating circumstance of religious hatred.


The exact motives of the man’s attacks are still unknown and reports in the Italian media refrained, perhaps significantly, from disclosing the man’s religion. The population of the African nation of Ghana is 71 percent Christian and 17.6 percent Muslim.

The Pope Wants You to Pray for a One World Religion

The Marxist, globalist, Soros apparatchik currently posing as head of the Catholic faith wants to scrap the Catholic Church. He didn't say that in so many words but he has called on Catholics to pray for the creation of a world religion (because love and peace) which would embrace Catholicism, the Protestant denominations, Orthodox, Syriac, Armenian, Ethiopian and Coptic Christians, Christian Scientists, Rosicrucians, Theosophists, Freemasons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Amish, Latter Day Saints, and presumably Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jain, Sikh, Shinto, Pagans, Shamanistic Animists, Jedi, Wiccans and Satanists. In other words they guy's a deluded fuckwit.

This latest move will come as no surprise to those who have dubbed Frankie, "The New World Order's Pope" because of his support for globalist, anything-but-christian ideology, his contempt for Catholic theology, dictatorial attitude towards the College of Cardinals and his determination to trash traditional Catholic values.

It is very doubtful that Pope Frankie is The Antichrist as some are suggesting, he seems to us to be just another shallow, opportunistic, egomaniacal world domination freak pitching for a global totalitarian government in which he probably has been promised a role.

Church of England Begins Drive to Promote Ethnic Minority Clergy, Accusing Itself of ‘Institutional Racism’

The Church of England has vowed to fast-track black and ethnic minority clergy into positions of authority, accusing itself of institutional racism. The Church will identify a “talent pool” of ethnic minority clergy this year, who will be mentored with the aim of increasing representation among bishops, deans and archdeacons.

Currently there are five black, Asian and ethnic minority (BAME) clergy in leadership positions within the Church, of which John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York, is perhaps the best well known, the Guardian has reported. In addition, approximately three per cent of the last general synod – the Church’s parliament – were from ethnic minorities. A breakdown of the new synod, which has just been elected, has not yet been released.

The figures are in line with the general makeup of the Church’s professional body – 2.8 per cent of clergy overall are from ethnic minorities. There are no statistics on how many ethnic minority congregants worship within the Church of England each week, but the fact that Pentecostal churches, attended predominantly by black Christians, are thriving has been highlighted by those seeking to make a case that the church is institutionally racist, driving congregants away.

The story takes the form of a series of letters from a senior demon, Screwtape, to his nephew Wormwood, a junior tempter. At one point, reference is made by Screwtape to other juniors as to what they will specialize in. One replies, (I write from memory): I will make men believe that Evil does not exist, to which Screwtape replies, You will have every success. We must picture hell as a state where everyone is perpetually concerned about his own dignity and advancement, where everyone has a grievance, and where everyone lives with the deadly serious passions of envy, self-importance, and resentment.” (C.S. The Church of England (which was always irrelevant to me and many others) becomes more irrelevant with each day that passes, thanks to the weak, effete, angst - ridden hand-wringing of politically correct bishops and other senior clergy it has seen fit to elevate over the past decades. It is now just one more political enterprise, whose leaders have abandoned the notion of serving communities in favour of serving their own interests and their own self righteousness, much like the majority of registered charity organisations, the directors of which line their own pockets and live the high life on expenses while ensuring very little of the available revenue goes to doing good.

The C of E's problems seem manifold and a total craptangle, until you realise that the fundamental cause is simply that they are no longer primarily Christian. They are definitely religious, but, like the Roman Catholic church and all other hierarchical ecclesiastical organisations which crave political influence in the modern world, any residual commitment to the core values of Christianity itself has to compete with any number of other 'practical' considerations. They are as much the Church of Community Cohesion, The Church Of Multiculturalism, or the Church of Human Rights and Social Justice, as they are a church of believers in Jesus. Worthy, perhaps, but no more Christian than any other philanthropic organisation.

The march of crackpot religions continues apace. When in the last UK census around ten per cent of us listed our religion as Jedi we were joking. Or were we.

Some people it seems take their Jedi faith very seriously (there's always a few out there). They went and formed an official Church Of Jediism, with a doctrine, a creed and all the other nonsense including a commandment stating Jedi Knights may not be seen in public without their hoods raised.

This Jedi warrior was excommunicated for showing her head (and a couple of other things) in the pub.

The rule would get Obi Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker to name but a few, excommunicated because in the Star Wars ffrancise they are seen with hoods lowered by millions. The founder of the Church of Jediism might struggle to obey his own diktat too, when he popped down the shops for a loaf of bread, some milk and a packet of cornflakes he was approached by security as he queued at the checkout and asked to lower his hood because people might mistake him for a terrorist.

When he refused, claiming it was against his religion, he was escorted out of the store without his stuff. We hope he can eat The Force, if not he's going to be a very hungry Jedi in the future as the hooded hoards of ISIScontinue to terrorise the west.

So don't be scared if you see someone dressed like this down the supermarket, he (or she) is not necessarily an ISIS fighter come to cause mayhem but a hungry Jedi grabbing a few groceries.
