As is usual now, the Paris Olympics has thrown up the usual quote of scandals, with allegations of performance enhancing drug use, mediocre male althletes claiming to be women in order to compete against less effective opposition, lousy, vegetarian food in the althletes dining rooms. But overall we ordinary punters, watching on out TVs or smart devices wherever we are in the world can be satified that the vsast majority of competitors are there due to years og honest endeavour, dedication and the sacrifice necessary to adhere to a rigours training schedule. Thus we can enjoy their efforts knowing that the medallists have succeeded by their own efforts and not because they have the best pharmacists, technologists and doctors enabling superhaman performances. 

All that bollocks about the Olympian spirit may be about to change however, due to the ambitions of one billionaire psychopath..Aron D’Souza, a co - founder of PayPal and associate of investor Peter Thiel has been sitting at home watching the Paris Olympics like the rest of us. But while we were content to watch, D'Souza was plotting.to take all forms of athletic activity to the next level.

As he was watched the rainswept opening ceremony on the filthy Seine, with triathlon swimmers faced with such disgusting conditions they gave up racing and just went through the motions (BOOM BOOM,) D’Souza was plotting to overthrow the staid old games and launch the enhanced Olympivcs

Next year, the billionaire plans to launch The Enhanced Games, a steroid-fuelled, surgically enhanced, transhumanist sporting event funded by super - rich Silicon Valley misanthropes, in which performance enhancing drugs, gene editing to simulate genetic analgesia, machine aided muscles and many illegal procedures will be encouraged rather than banned, resulting in superhuman feats of athletics.

Imagine Usain Bolt’s world 100 metres record being repeatedly smashed by chemically augmented superhumanscompeting for million-dollar prizes, or humandroid robo-athletes clearing a 10-foot high bar in the high jump.

“We’re gonna see a 50-year-old running a nine-second 100 metres using a battery-powered exoskeleton with a BCI [brain computer interface] implant,” D’Souza predicts.

D’Souza – a protegé of Peter Thiel, the Donald Trump-backing Silicon Valley venture capitalist who is a hero or bête noire depending on who you ask – plans to compete in the 100 metre sprint himself.

“I have no experience in it whatsoever, but this is the iconic event. Maybe I can run 14 or 15 seconds now, can I get that down to 11?” 

Overthrowing the world’s biggest sporting festival is a bold ambition, especially for a venture that has never thrown so much as a track meet and is run out of a private members’ club in West London.

The Enhanced Games does at least have real backers. Thiel has invested in the venture, alongside other backers including Balaji Srinivasan, the libertarian venture capitalist, and Christian Angermayer, the billionaire German psychedelics entrepreneur.

"Taking A Knee" Banned By International Olympic Committee

 In a clear sign that the international community have had enough of being dictated to by the tiny but noisy screechers of the woke brigade, somebody has made a stand and openly spoken the truth about the racist criminals of Black Lives Matter

The global body that oversees the Olympic Games has announced that any athletes making political gestures at the event will be punished, and that the rule is the will of most athletes involved.

The ruling means that gestures such as ‘taking a knee’ or raising a fist, which have been ongoing in other sports, are effectively banned from the Olympics.

The IOC’s Rule 50 forbids any form of “demonstration or political, religious or racial propaganda” in arenas or on podiums.

The Committee surveyed a third of athletes who will be involved in the upcoming games and found that the majority want the rule upheld.

The IOC’s Athletes’ Commission chief Kirsty Coventry, who oversaw the survey, commented “I would not want something to distract from my competition and take away from that. That is how I still feel today.”

When asked if athletes who make such gestures will be punished, Coventry said “Yes that is correct,” adding “the majority of athletes we spoke to, that is what they are requesting.”

The British Olympic Association has positioned itself against the stance of the IOC, with World Athletics president Lord Coe also saying that athletes should be allowed to take a knee during Olympic medal ceremonies.

As we have highlighted, there has been significant opposition among sports fans, particularly in football, to players taking a knee. However, some clubs have taken it upon themselves to punish fans who voice their opposition at games, even going as far as demanding re-education lessons or stadium bans.

Some players have also voiced opposition to the taking of the knee. Most notably, Nottingham Forest footballer Lyle Taylor vowed that he will no longer engage in the protest before matches, branding the Black Lives Matter organisation as a “Marxist group”:

Zika Virus Threatens Rio Olympics As WHO Declares Global Emergency

This could just be another jolly jape for the fear and panic industry, remember Swine Flu, Bird Flu, SARS, MRSA, Mad Cow Disease, AIDS, the hole in the ozone layer, the new ice age, nuclear war or any of the other things that were going to kill us but didn't?

After an inauspicious start when it was discovered in the heart of Ugandan forest about sixty years ago to mysterious genetically-modified Mosquitoes in Brazil, the latest existential threat to humanity (most notably to pregnant women who get infected) is the ominous-sounding Zika virus.

The epidemic is spreading rapidly from its epicenter near the place where genetically modified mosquitos created for the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation were released into the wild in Brazil, thus threatening disaster at the Olympics with female athletes being advised to "consider participation very carefully", to Colombia (with 2100 pregnant women infected), and further north in America with CDC confirming 6 cases in Texas.

Now above you have a perfect example of how the fear-and-panic industry works, its purpose being to sustain the power elites in power by keeping us so scared we will believe only the government can protect us from the many threats we are exposed to every day of our lives.

But consider (very carefully), while Zika poses a serious threat that women who become infected in the early stages of pregnancy will give birth to babies with microcephaly (a very small head, probably accompanied by developmental problems)how is that a threat to women athletes in the Olympic games. Those competitors haven't dedicated themselves for years to achieving excellence in their chosen sport just so they can get pregnant at the Olympic games.

As previously reported here, The World Health Organization is convening an Emergency Committee under International Health Regulations today, concerning the Zika virus ‘explosive’ spread throughout the Americas. The virus reportedly has the potential to reach pandemic proportions — possibly around the globe. But understandingwhy this outbreak happened is vital to curbing it. As the WHO statement said:

“A causal relationship between Zika virus infection and birth malformations and neurological syndromes … is strongly suspected. [These links] have rapidly changed the risk profile of Zika, from a mild threat to one of alarming proportions.

“WHO is deeply concerned about this rapidly evolving situation for 4 main reasons: the possible association of infection with birth malformations and neurological syndromes; the potential for further international spread given the wide geographical distribution of the mosquito vector; the lack of population immunity in newly affected areas; and the absence of vaccines, specific treatments, and rapid diagnostic tests […] The level of concern is high, as is the level of uncertainty.”

Zika seems to have come from of nowhere, but it has been around for over seventy years. Though it was first discovered in 1947, cases only sporadically occurred throughout Africa and southern Asia.

In 2007, the first case was reported in the Pacific. In 2013, a smattering of small outbreaks and individual cases were officially documented in Africa and the western Pacific. They also began showing up in the Americas. In May 2015, Brazil reported its first case of Zika virus — and the situation changed dramatically. Which suggests that the virus has also changed dramatically. As a result of what?

Let's remind ourselves that the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, only recently declared over, was like no pervious outbreak of the disease. And I can claim to have been one of the first to break the news to western audiences that shortly before the outbreak the United States Department Of Defence biological Warfare Agency obtained a patent of the Ebola virus and had a team in Africa working in weaponising the disease. Sounds too similar to be coincidence?

"You may say that, I could not possibly comment." as the saying goes.

Even though the virus poses no great threat to human adults or children other than pregnant women, the BBC reports, an alarming mixture of confusion and fear is blighting the pregnancies of thousands of women across this teeming tropical city in the northeast of Brazil, and wherever else the Zika virus has infected people. And the conspiracy theories have not even started yet.

Britain won its first medal in the cycling road race, an event not lacking comic potential as it was held in a torrential downpour.

Controversy raged in the swimming arena over full length super slick body suits made of low friction material to reduce swimmer's drag effect through the water. We wanted to know what is wrong with the old back, crack and sack wax and what the official view on gimp masks was. Not quite in the Olympic spirit but there you go. We never suggested we are a politically correct publication.

Disaster for Britain's medal hopes in the water. After double triumph, in the cycling and thewomen's 400meters freestyle in the main pool our synchronized diving team blew... no - not each other, settle down at the back; blew their chance of a medal by having a row just before their final dive. 14 y.o. prodigy Thomas Daley threw a hissy fit when his 26 year old diving partner took a call from his Mum, poolside, on his cellphone. They boy apparently said, "How can you talk to your Mother? Parents never understand anything. What we want to know though is WTF is Synchronised Diving doing as an Olympic sport.

Biggest controversy of the Olympic pageant so far (well the drug test results have not started coming in yet) was the lip synching scandal at the opening ceremony.Seems like a lot of fuss about nothing, we say if its good enough for Madonna and The Spice Gilrs its good enough for the Olympic Games
