United Nations Complains That It Will Go Broke Without US Financial Support

Top officials at the world's biggest globalist bureaucracy and wannabe world government, The United Nations Organisation admitted that organization is going broke because of US cuts to its funding of UN operations and changes to its financial rules requiring pay back some "unspent funds". 

They also whined that unpaid dues from member states are seriously impacting budgets.

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres warns that  the United Nations is  it couldclaiming face a cash crisis by July as outstanding fees and subscriptions from members reached a record $1.568 billion at the end of 2025 and that revenue only covered 76.7% of expectations, leaving the organization dangerously short of cash.  The secretary-general added that the U.N. will not be able to fully implement its 2026 budget and could face a liquidity crisis by mid-year unless income drastically improves.

The Trump administration slashed support for IPCC in 2025 arguing that the U.N. has failed to promote U.S. interests, and reveals in its policies an anti - American bias.

In 2024, US taxpayers funded around 25% of the United Nations core budget and peacekeeping operations, along with 40% of all humanitarian assistance.  As with the revelations surrounding institutions like USAID and NATO, when we look at the raw financial data for the UN we find that Americans have been paying for the rest of the world for quite some time while leaders of other developed nations indulged in virtue signalling and vanity projects. It has been obvious to the economically literate for decades that without US cash the house of cards known as the ;world order' built on pipedresams like Open Borders and Net Zero would quickly start to fall apart.

Furthermore, taxpayer dollars have been flowing via the UN into organizations and countries that are explicitly hostile to US values and constitutional freedoms.

In January 2026, after President Donald Trump had put the boot in the UN General Assembly's groin, the United States formally withdrew from UN agencies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and climate change panel (IPCC) and began exiting dozens of international bodies, including multiple U.N. entities, citing misalignment with American priorities.  The funding squeeze has already forced the United Nations to tighten spending across several agencies. Reports show that U.N. bodies, including the World Food Programme and refugee agencies, are preparing layoffs and program reductions as overall contributions fall to the lowest level in a decade.

"Either all member states honour their obligations to pay in full and on time - or member states must fundamentally overhaul our financial rules to prevent an imminent financial collapse," Secretary-General Guterres wrote.

Unfortunately Guterres fails to grasp the obvious problem:  Why should Americans continue to fund a politically socialist international organization that is ideologically opposed to everything they stand for?  Why should they fund an organization that helped to fund and plan the destruction of western civilisation through mass immigration?  In fact, why wouldn't most Americans (and we Europeans who've seen thge light,) cheer for the financial ruin of the UN?

The Prince of Darkness and The Epstein Scandal- Another Chapter In The Death Of The World Order

One almost has to feel sorry for Prime Muppet Starmer.  As the Epstein scandal spreads its slimy tentacles around the corrupt and depraved global elites Two Tier Keir was probably thanking providence that before his elevation to the political heights he was a mediocre human rights lawyer and could hope the fallout from the US Department of Justice release of files siezed from the homes of the notorious billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein whould give him respite from the catalogue of political and public relations disasters that have amassed during his Premiership. 

Unfortunately new revelations in the latest batch of released documents shift the soptlight away from Greenland, mass immigration, Net Zero and the Chagos Island giveaway onto the favours traded between the openly gay Labour peer Peter 'The Prince of Darkness' Mandelson, and Epstein. With evidence emerging that Mandy leaked sensitive government and financial information to Epstein and (purely coincidentally of course, received large payment into his and his partner's bank accounts from his paedo pal. UK Opposition politucians are calling for a Cabinet Office investigation. What did Starmer know, when he picked the career scumbag Mandelson as US Ambassador as Donald Trump began his second term?

The various Epstein scandals seem to implicate the entire political regime in which they occurred, including Bill and Hillary Clinton, and several billionaire psychopaths including Bill Gates, and are now spreading to the rest of the Anglosphere. If there was such a thing as natural justice, the whole rotten mess ought to be  an extinction-level event for the respective (in fact, interlocking) regimes. But despite this destruction of trust the status quo blunders on. After all, how would we go about purging an entire national ruling class? And what would replace them?

I suspect that it is not so much that we, the people, lack the means to conduct such a purge, difficult though it may be to execute, it’s more that we lack the will. Imagine the chaos that would folow should most of the people, vile, corrupt, self - obsessed, sociopaths, running the show sudden;y be rounded up and dumped on an unpopulated island a thoudand miles from anywhere, (South Georgia for example,) that we simply cannot face up to the responsibility of making it happen even when evidence that they are shfting us, metaphorically and in some cases literally, is laid in front of us. 

Most of us need jobs to pay for the necessities of life, food, rent or mortgages, transport etc. businesses need a revenue stream and communities need some sort of order to function.  Long term economic and political instability is unsustinable. No matter how disgusting the elites are, we need them.

Does anyone else suspect that the root cause might well be our universally human fear of the unknown: or, more precisely, that we can't control what we don’t know. In that way, it’s altogether better to believe in the comforting, simplistic fairy tales told by the likes of the BBC and Hollywood (and, yes, alternative media – the ‘awake’ crowd isn’t exempt from this!), to look away, to avoid looking up, to deliberately avoid seeing what we need to see. In terms of Plato's cave allegory it makes sense, to ridicule those who point out that the shadows on the cave wall are not real at all and that, all of our mortal lives, like our parents and grandparents before us, we’ve all been gulled by deceivers who themselves had been deceived, tempted, and blackmailed.

However at various points in human history the narrative starts to crack and the cave falls in as reality reasserts itself. That might be what’s happening now.

The Minnesota Riots Are Part Of A Bigger Picture

What is the big deal about Minnesota that has kept the US state, just one of 50, that has kept it at the forefront of world news for most of this month. The killing by Immigration Officers of two protesters who were trying to disrupt the agencies efforts to arrest, for deportation, illegal immigrants were stories that might by themselves have attracted attention for a day or two (no disrespect to the victims but there are killings everywhere, every day).

But there is nore to the situation in Minnesota that these fatal attempts by 'woke' liberals to potect illegal immigrants from the law. Sensationalist news coverage of ICE activitie is only concealing the real problem.

Minnesota has been shaken by an organised fraud scandal that prosecutors estimate has already cost the stte government more than $1bn (£730m) in misappropriated funds, including cash that was meant to help the hungry or educate kids from families who cannot speak English.. According to The New York Times (NYT) – not generally known for conservative political leanings – out of 86 people charged by agents investigating the fraud network, all but eight were Somali (and the majority of them in the USA legally); a lawyer for defendants insists her clients thought the fraud was being tolerated; and the state was threatened with accusations of racism if it didn’t sign the cheques. 

Other states in the US hve problems related to mass immigration and illegal immigration so what is special about this case?  Minnesota, it seems, has a particular problem with Somali Nationals, for reasons unexplained there are absolutely huge Somali immigrant communities in the state's cities and big towns. They elected a Somali congress woman who spends most of her time trying to subvert the rile of law and calling white people 'racist.' 

The State Governor Tim Waltz, remember him  - the Vive Presidential candidate in Kamala Harris' ill fated election campaign, declared Minnesota a 'Sanctuary State', i.e. the state government undertook to protect illegals within its borders from efforts to remove them.. Evidence shows Tim is not the sharpest knife in the box and during his tome as State Governor the immigrants and their virtue signalling leftist enablers have run rings round him.. 

As long ago as the 1990s, after an influx of refugees from civil war, Somali’s were granted Temporary Protected Status due to their own country being unsafe for their return. They brought families and family members brought their families and so on, African extended families extend infinitely. 

The organised fraud that has now come to light because of the investigative journalism of a single YouTuber named Nick Shirley is centred on Somali communities, is staggering in scale and was allowed to happen under the Biden administration. Trump has recently removed Temp Protected Status, we believe. 

 The authorities in Minnesota have let in people who had no right to enter the USA and have badly abused their host nation and its people. Those who do not have a legal right to be in the USA were given chance to leave voluntarily. When they declined and left wing activists launched a campaign to stop deportations, the Trump administration. ordered a crackdown on illegals and, being a rare president of his word, Trump set a  target of 3,000 arrests a day.  The Immigration and Customes Enforcement (ICE) recruited more than 12,000  agents to meet it.

ICE is enforcing laws that already exist, and two-thirds of those arrested have been previously imprisoned or charged, 7 per cent of them for violence. 

 ICE are having to act this way due to the attacks on them and their families. The 'peaceful' protestors are taking lethal weapons to their 'peaceful' protests and have obtained personal information for ICE agents and threatened their families.  If you go to a protest with weapons, your intentions can only be read one way. The  situation in Minnesota is a local one, but the challenge of dealing with the problems caused by illegal mass immigration - resulting in an influx of people who are not interested in assimilating - is apparent across the USA and in Europe and Australia. This unwillingness to integrate of immigrants from tribal societies with very different moral values in turn leads to culture clashes. Matters have been aggravated by the criminal element associated with some of the groups coming in. 

The UK is suffering a similar challenge from illigal immigration as is Spain which we reported on recently. In my mind, there can be no doubt Trump is right to want to deport the criminals and those ethnic groups that seek to impose their values on the host nation. In all processes there will be unfortunate instances. I feel sorry for the families of the people who were shot. But I also feel sorry for those in the USA who have been robbed, injured, raped and forced out of certain areas by these aggressive immigrants. So on balance I would support mass deportations, as at least that enables the host nation to settle down and reassert its identity and rules. Immigration is something that can happen, but it needs to be managed - which is not what has been happening at all.

We either defend Western Civilisation or we don’t. The rule of law, tolerance, free speech, freedom of religion etc or balkanised anarchy where might is right. The cost is unavoidable if you want the former not the latter. Sheep always want the easy life to avoid confrontation at all costs. Only sheep dogs will keep the wolves at bay. The sheep dogs are on the political right.

In all the hand wringing, pearl clutching, wailing and gnashing of teeth brouhaha over Donald Trump's rather undiplomatic announcement that the USA intends to take over Greenland  the strong strategic reasons behind Trump’s Greenland ambiions have not really been scrutinised in world's left leaning, TDS afflicted media.

Before we get into any debate about international law and the state of the US President's mental health it is necessary to  look down on the world from above the North Pole like this one published in Encyclopedia Britannica:

 

 The normal Mercator projection map of the northernmost part of the world does not give the perspective needed to understand the security concerns of Trump's foreign policy and defence advisers in the light of China's expansionism.

Very few countries have coastlines within the Arctic circle.. The main coastline is Russia. The United States (Alaska), Canada, Greenland and Norway provide the rest of adjacent countries. China is claiming that it has ‘adjacent status’, but it has no Arctic coastline. However Russia owes /beijing a few favours in return for the tacit support China has provided since the start of the Ukraine war in 2022. 

The legendary North West Passage, which was dismissed as a myth until only a few decades ago is now navigable for at least part of the year. It is a sea route around the north of Canada linking down into the Bering Strait between Alaska and Russia. The entrance to this route is between Greenland and Canada.

In recent years marine technology has advanced sufficiently for Arctic sea routes, including the economically important North West Passage to be viable the year round. To that end Russia has built nuclear-powered ice-breakers, and has between six and eight of them running (depending on various reports) in its fleet of 60 ice-breakers,  because opening a sea route along its northern coast would be very advantageous.

The North West Passage brings us back to Greenland. With its vast oil and mineral deposits this is clearly an territory which could be developed to the advantage of the USA and its allies. And with a population of only 67,000 led by a bunch of far left malcontent Danes and crzy Inuits, with both grouos showing an inclination to cosy up to China, if it carried out its threat to declare full independence from Denmark and became a chinese client state that would make life very diffiult for the west. No wonder Trump is so interested in acquiring Greenland, which would be key to his strategy of securing a good legacy for his country. Defensively too, the US is interested in a defence system capable of detecting incoming missiles further away from the US. Greenland would provide this. 

To step away from Greenland and allow its vast wilderness to fall under the influence of the People's Republic would far outstrip Starmer's attempted Chagos Islands giveaway in terms of gross stupidity.  

China aims to get back the entire Eastern Siberian part of Russia which were stolen from Chinese empire in the 1800s. The People's Republic is already well under way doing it economically via long-term leases and illegal resource extractions and moving citizens into new settlements there. Re-integrating Eastern Siberia back under the full Chinese ownership will give China a fully-legitimate claim to the Arctic it wants and needs.

China could then get all oil and gas from the russian fields in Siberia, why would the two want or need to build pipelines from the Arctic anytime in near future. The problem now is the lack of Western technology to transport oil and gas from Siberia to China in sufficient quantities - plus that little detail that Russia is preoccupied by that useless war for now.

Other than that, there is no love lost between the two nations which are not natural allies and have little in common culturally

Far from wishing to dominate Europe, as has been claimed almost daily by mainstream news commentators since 2022 the Russians want nothing so much as to get clear of it. They've re-orientated their trade and adjusted their supply lines and are now focused East. As many people have said, the old 'rules based order' is dead and in truth it was never really alive.

Not long back Putin held an important meeting with Russian industrialists. Those industrialists wanted assurance that the new Russian status quo would hold. They didn't want to invest in finding new customers and  setting up new supply chains only to find, after the war, that the Europeans would come back into the Russian market and render those investments pointless.

Putin stated the Europeans were unlikely to want to occupy their old position in the Russian market and if they did, they'd find themselves up against trade barriers that would prevent them from doing so to any great extent. The shift to self-sufficiency and to trade with their Asian and other partners was discernible well before the war, is now irreversible.

So the old fear, that the men with snow on their boots would be seen marching through Bielefeld or Tunbridge Wells grabbing our stuff, is out of date. There's no longer that much stuff to grab. "The Russians Are Coming!" is merely a politicians' scare story to keep us all in line. We Europeans are making fools of ourselves pretending the Russians would ever want to come. The way things are, they see us as more of a nuisance than a source of booty.

We should, in a more civilised way, support Trump's bid to gain control of Greenland. Better the devil you know etc. Russia may not want to conquer Europe but China has given strong signs that it would like to replace the USA as global hegemon. Do we really want to invite it to set up camp in our back yard?

Last Week WeWere Told The Rules Based Order Had Died - But It Has Been A Zombie For Decades

Late  last week, (January 19 to 23,) the most elite of the political and business elites gathered in Davos, Switzerland, for the annual jolly of the World Economic Forum. Apart from the usual waffle on themes like global cooperation, innovation, and sustainable growth, net zero, the oportuniies offered by AI and the quality of the obscenely expensive wines,foods and prostitutes on offer, there were a few shocks to the delicate systems of the gathered self - aggrandisers. 

Shocks had been guaranteed from the moment US President Donald Trump announced he would attend.That alone was enough to trigger an outbreak of pearl clutching among the liberal chatterati.

The first and perhaps biggest shock came when Trump reiterated his claim that the USA had to take control of Greenland for the sake of western security.

It was not the first time Trump had said that the United States intends to take Greenland, one way or another. Before the Davos gang convened Washington had threatened to impose tariffs on European allies that resisted the move, and had threatened that the USA would pull out of NATO. Everybody knows that without American military strength the alliance is as significant as a gnat's fart in the hurricane force winds of Storm Donald so NATO’s obituary was proclaimed yet again. The United States, we are solemnly informed, can no longer be trusted as an ally and that it is even a predatory state. The West is finished.

Cue panic. Cue Davos. Cue the anguished cries of people who have not had to think seriously about the global power balance since the mid-1980s are suddenly faced with the prospect of conflict in the middle east and Iran causing economic chaos by closing the Strait of Hormuz, the spread of Chinese influence in Asia and Russian influence in Africa and the break up of NATO and the EU.

All of this reached something of crescendo last week when Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, speaking with unusual frankness, acknowledged that the so-called liberal rules-based order was over. “Let me be direct,” he stated. “We are in the midst of a rupture not a transition.”

Carney delivered a frank assessment of how he views the direction of the world economy when he said international law and the longstanding U.S.-led, rules-based world order is over and middle powers like Canada must pivot to avoid falling prey to further "coercion" from powerful actors. 

Carney said multilateralism and the "architecture of collective problem-solving" — relying on institutions like the World Trade Organization, the United Nations and Conference of the Parties (COP) for climate talks — has been "diminished" and countries have to accept they may have to go it alone more often than in the recent past.

"Many countries are drawing the same conclusions. They must develop greater strategic autonomy: in energy, food, critical minerals, in finance and supply chains.

"A country that cannot feed itself, fuel itself or defend itself has few options. When the rules no longer protect you, you must protect yourself," Carney said which unintentionally confirms that the USA claim on Greenland, a frozen wilderness with no food prouction, no industry, no economy other than handouts from Denmark and a population of 67,000.  

Something that is not often mentioned but might become significant as Trump, having opened negotiations on Greenland, turns his attention to Iran, what comes after it is the Soviet parallel at the heart of Mark Carney’s Davos speech: he wasn’t just critiquing Western alliance politics, he was drawing on a very specific late-communist logic to illuminate how contemporary international order operates.

 In that speech Carney explicitly invoked former Czech President Václav Havel’s The Power of the Powerless and its greengrocer parable about how late Soviet communist regimes were sustained through ritual compliance with a known falsehood rather than genuine belief, and adapted it to describe the U.S.-led “rules-based international order” as a similar “pleasant fiction” that middle powers have long performed support for despite knowing its selective application and coercive elements to gain access to trade, finance, and security.

 Carney quoted Havel’s idea of “living within the lie,” stressing that the system’s power derives from performative pretense and that its fragility is exposed when participants refuse the script. He used this to urge countries and firms to “take down their signs” — reject the illusion of mutual benefit in economic integration, acknowledge the order’s hollowness, and build genuine coordination and strategic autonomy amid great-power rivalry rather than bilateral accommodation with a declining hegemon.  

But the real question is not whether Carney is right about the passing of the “rules based world order" but why it has taken so long for people like him to notice. The answer lies in a comforting illusion: that American power had, post-1945, somehow transformed itself from self-interest into benign liberal principle.

As anyone who possesses a degree of familiarity with the history of American foreign policy will tell you, Trump's intention, (aka The Donroe Doctrine,) to disrupt the 'rules based order' so beloved by bueucrats like Carney and Keir Starmer is nothing new, the United States has always acted in its own interest. It has always treated international law as conditional. It has always exempted itself from rules it helped design when those rules became inconvenient. This is not a Trumpian innovation. It is how great powers behave. It is how the US has behaved for decades since the end of World War II, and how Britain behaved between the end of the Napoleonic Wars to the end of World War One, which left us seriously weakened and the USA grew economically and in military power. The American imperium has always been an axis of hypocrisy rather than an axis of democracy.

What has changed is not the way America exploits its power, but the moment at which the West's delusion of a liberal consensus, has finally been forced into daylight, as has the widespread depravity and corruption of the ruling elites with the release of the Epstein files..

Spain's Left Wing Government Faces Furious Backlash As 500,000 Undocumented Immigrants Granted Legal Status

 

The left-wing government in Madrid has this week approved a plan to grant legal status to around 500,000 illegal  immigrants - a move that has sparked fury on the right - marking a sharp break with tougher policies elsewhere in Europe.

Speaking after Tuesday's cabinet meeting at which the plan was passed by decree because the govrnment does not have a majority in the National Assembly, Migration Minister Elma Saiz hailied what she disingenuously described as the 'positive impact' of (illegal) immigration and said Spain was 'strengthening a migration model based on human rights, integration and coexistence, compatible with economic growth and social cohesion.'

Socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who faces allegations of corruption,  has argued Spain needs migration to fill labour shortages and offset an ageing population that threatens pensions and the welfare state. He has said migration accounted for 80 per cent of Spain's economic growth over the past six years. Sanchez is talking bollocks of course illegal immigration will never cure Spain's eonomic problems, but when have socialists ever talked sense about immigration. 

In spite of being predictable  the move sparked fury on the right. Santiago Abascal, leader of the hard-right Vox party, accused Sánchez of 'hating Spaniards,' formenting violence and 'accelerating an invasion'. Though critics say this is far right rhetoric aimed at stirring up civil unrest, anyone who follows European news will be aware that the same process is being enacted in other leading EU member nations including Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands and Sweden.

Under the plan, the measure will apply to illegal immigrants and asylum seekers who have lived in Spain for at least five months and who applied for international protection before December 31, 2025.

Alberto Nunez Feijoo, the leader of the center-right opposition Popular Party said the plan was aimed at "diverting attention" from the rail disaster that killed 45 people in the south of the country on January 18.

"In socialist Spain, illegality is rewarded. Sanchez's migration policy is as reckless as his rail policy," he said.

The far-right Vox party announced legal action against the measure. Its leadership said it would appeal to Spain's Supreme Court as soon as the decree was published, seeking precautionary measures to suspend its implementation.

Vox argued that bypassing parliament on an issue of such scale was unacceptable and accused European institutions of dangerous passivity, demanding a clear response from them.

Mainland Spain continues to be main destination of irregular immigration to Europe, but in 2025 record-breaking numbers of people also reached the Canary Islands archipelago. At least 46,843 people have made the dangerous crossing from the African mainland to the island group, surpassing previous years.

 The Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean are also seeing a rise in migration. Nearly 6,000 migrants arrived in the Balearic Islands in 2024 -- almost three times the number from the previous year. According to the Spanish news agency EFE, 5,924 migrants disembarked there in. 2024, compared with 2,278 in 2023. According to the migrant charity Caminando Fronteras, at least 517 people have died in 2024 on this migration route in 2024.

In the past two years, the majority of migrants arriving on the island group were found to have departed from Algeria across the Mediterranean. However, according to Caminando Fronteras, this is not necessarily an indication of their origin.

"Almost 40 percent of the people landing on the Spanish coast and the Balearic Islands  now come from countries other than Algeria," the NGO said in a recently published report.

Even the  erratic behaviour of US President Donald Trump over Greenland, civil unrest in Minnesota, France's descent into anarchy or the National Socialist shenanigans of Keir Starmer's government in Britain  has diverted public attention in Spain from the illegal immigration crisis and inevitable surge in crime which has accompanied it, which for the first time is positioned as the country's main issue.

The concern about immigration reflected in surveys is also a reflection of the concern about the lack of political agreement to solve this phenomenon.  Only unemployment and the economy surpassed concern about the migration phenomenon, a statistic which exposes the Socialist governments lie about the economic benefit of mass immigration. With burgeoning unemployment, particularly amon young people and in low paid sector of the economy, immigration, particularly the illegal kind, can only harm the economy.
