Earlier this year President Trump delighted his fans and outraged his opponents by pulling the USA and all its money out of the United Nations Intergoernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Globalists were quick to complain that without American money the climate scaremongering project would be bankrupt.

Trump signed a presidential memorandum in January that pulled the United States from the climate pact and 65 other international organizations and treaties that “no longer serve American interests.” About half of those are United Nations organizations.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a statement, “As this list begins to demonstrate, what started as a pragmatic framework of international organizations for peace and cooperation has morphed into a sprawling architecture of global governance, often dominated by progressive ideology and detached from national interests,” .

The US withdrawal from on climate cooperation comes as the United States’ main rival on the world stage, China, has come to dominate the clean energy technologies of the future. At the same time, many of the United States’ most powerful allies, including Australia, Britain and the European Union, are also advancing their ambitions to reduce emissions of planet-heating greenhouse gases and ramp up renewable energies. 

Five months later the credibility of the IPCC has been dealt an equally damaging blow with recently-published research showing that 42% of its climate scenarios rely on improbable rises in future temperature that even the UN-funded body believes are of “low likelihood”. The research notes the IPCC admission of the improbability of its scaremongering predictions is “deeply buried” in the full Sixth Assessment Reports (AR6), and is “unlikely to be read by the policy makers”. The authors point out that significant and important sections of the full IPCC work emphasise these improbable claims, “potentially invalidating those sections of the report”.

Climate and emissions outline SSP5-8.5 assumes a rise of around 5°C by the end of the century. That was always somewhat detached from reality and has long been dealt a death blow, given that global warming ran out of steam about 25 years ago.

A recent New York Post (NYP) article, titled “Billions have been wasted on UN’s climate change lies,” describes how vast amounts of Dollars, Pounds, Euros and other major currencies have been spent worldwide attempting to slow or stop the world from experiencing the extreme climate change as forecast by the flawed, but widely used RCP 8.5 computer model projections. The NYP is absolutely correct. The future climate conditions described by the RCP 8.5 high-end emissions scenario, and subsequently cited in hundreds of climate science research papers warning of likely disastrous outcomes, were never going to happen, and all the investment into climate policy has been a total waste.

RCP 8.5 has officially been retired from consideration by official climate researchers at the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Opinion writer Jonathan Lesser writes that the IPCC “is responsible for the “climate catastrophe” pseudo science and “the world is burning" predictions that environmentalists, academics and many politicians have promoted to force high-cost, coercive energy policies on the developed nations, which “relied on academics whose careers depended on using RCP 8.5 and several other worst-case scenarios to predict everything from the demise of French wines and the end of pasta to aliens destroying the earth. (No, really.)”

Over the past decade, Wattsupwiththat, The Heartland Institute and Climate Realism have published dozens of articles refuting studies slavishly promoted by various media outlets that relied heavily on computer-modeled emissions scenarios like RCP 8.5 and SSP5-8.5. The stories referenced by Lesser here are familiar; the supposed destruction of French wine (or overproduction!), pasta, and aliens of a different kind, all have been covered and much more.

RCP 8.5 was used to say Gila monsters would be decimated by climate change, that climate change would spread lethal fungal outbreaks around the world, that climate change would cause a dramatic uptick in deaths from sedentary lifestyles, and The Daily Mail went so far as to create AI generated apocalyptic images of the world’s future all based on RCP 8.5 projections.

Scientists have been moving away from promoting RCP 8.5 as the business-as-usual scenario for a while now. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change  abandoned it years ago, yet it has still been regularly used as a realistic high end emissions scenario in hundreds of papers published by prestigious journals like Nature. It never was realistic. It was always implausible and likely impossible, even assuming a rapid, large, and sustained increase in coal consumption – a scenario that would require five times more coal than we actually have reserves of.

Climate scientist Roger Pielke Jr. explains in a Substack post, “A scenario requiring five times proven coal reserves is not plausible by any standard,” and that the scenario also required an increase in the use of coal-to-liquids instead of petroleum and that other technologies would stagnate. None of this was realistic, even at the time the scenario was first created.

Unfortunately many people too busy with work and family life to investigate issues are of the opinion that what comes from the IPCC is “Science”. Those people take the view that if all scientists are saying something (i.e. The science is settled,) then it must be true so  who are they to question these knowledable academics. So they mostly just accept it all.

In fact the opposite is true, we all have a right and a duty to question authority, and the very use of the phrase, "The science is settled," by climate scientists shows they are motivated more by politics than pure scientific inquiry. 

What these people promote isn’t science at all. It is “Official Narrative”. It is computer modelling full of assumptions that don’t match what is actually happening in the real world, and our governments, by attaching a 'science' label to this propaganda are using false authority of “science” to spread irrational fears about the climate, in order to coerce public support for authoritarian, globalist policy like NET ZERO and punitive taxation of fuel consumption. 

Those policies are harmful to our prosperity and well being. They always talk of the risks of using fossil fuels without ever mentioning the risks of NOT using them. Life expectancy has doubled because of those fuels, and there are over a billion people who don’t have them sitting burning dung for heating and cooking dying young from preventable diseases and of back breaking labour. 

Wake up people. Globalist Eco Socialism is NOT science. You are being played for fools.

United Nations Complains That It Will Go Broke Without US Financial Support

Top officials at the world's biggest globalist bureaucracy and wannabe world government, The United Nations Organisation admitted that organization is going broke because of US cuts to its funding of UN operations and changes to its financial rules requiring pay back some "unspent funds". 

They also whined that unpaid dues from member states are seriously impacting budgets.

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres warns that  the United Nations is  it couldclaiming face a cash crisis by July as outstanding fees and subscriptions from members reached a record $1.568 billion at the end of 2025 and that revenue only covered 76.7% of expectations, leaving the organization dangerously short of cash.  The secretary-general added that the U.N. will not be able to fully implement its 2026 budget and could face a liquidity crisis by mid-year unless income drastically improves.

The Trump administration slashed support for IPCC in 2025 arguing that the U.N. has failed to promote U.S. interests, and reveals in its policies an anti - American bias.

In 2024, US taxpayers funded around 25% of the United Nations core budget and peacekeeping operations, along with 40% of all humanitarian assistance.  As with the revelations surrounding institutions like USAID and NATO, when we look at the raw financial data for the UN we find that Americans have been paying for the rest of the world for quite some time while leaders of other developed nations indulged in virtue signalling and vanity projects. It has been obvious to the economically literate for decades that without US cash the house of cards known as the ;world order' built on pipedresams like Open Borders and Net Zero would quickly start to fall apart.

Furthermore, taxpayer dollars have been flowing via the UN into organizations and countries that are explicitly hostile to US values and constitutional freedoms.

In January 2026, after President Donald Trump had put the boot in the UN General Assembly's groin, the United States formally withdrew from UN agencies including the World Health Organization (WHO) and climate change panel (IPCC) and began exiting dozens of international bodies, including multiple U.N. entities, citing misalignment with American priorities.  The funding squeeze has already forced the United Nations to tighten spending across several agencies. Reports show that U.N. bodies, including the World Food Programme and refugee agencies, are preparing layoffs and program reductions as overall contributions fall to the lowest level in a decade.

"Either all member states honour their obligations to pay in full and on time - or member states must fundamentally overhaul our financial rules to prevent an imminent financial collapse," Secretary-General Guterres wrote.

Unfortunately Guterres fails to grasp the obvious problem:  Why should Americans continue to fund a politically socialist international organization that is ideologically opposed to everything they stand for?  Why should they fund an organization that helped to fund and plan the destruction of western civilisation through mass immigration?  In fact, why wouldn't most Americans (and we Europeans who've seen thge light,) cheer for the financial ruin of the UN?

Trump Dumps United Nations IPCC Climate Scam and WHO Health Tyranny

The White House today published details of 66 international organisations that the USA is to withdraw from by order of President Trump.  Most prominent among these cash eating bureaucracies are the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This pair of incesteous twins have been the main drivers of the global climate agenda, to which the USA has been the major contributor.

 This move, accomplished in Trump's usual audacious and bombastic style, is not the first time Donny has put the boot into the United Nations but is a radical departure from the globalish approach to international policy followed by the previous administation of demented Je Biden and his anonymous, far - left handlers. It is also the result of Elon Musk's assault on federal grant-making schemes under USAID, during his time as head of  DOGE (Department Of Government Efficiency). US withdrawal of its cash and political support for these globalist ventures will impact many policy domains, but it is climate that is perhaps highest up the political agenda.

There is little doubt the impact this will have within the USA and globally. Of the 720 government-appointed authors to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, 74 were American, according to Green Blob lobbying group CarbonBrief. The UNFCCC is the parent organisation of the infamous COP meetings, the most notable of which was Paris in 2015, which set the terms of the current policy framework. In his first term, Trump pulled the USA out of the Paris Agreement, only for that decision to be reversed by Joe Biden as soon as he assumed office in 2021. On re-election, Trump again pulled the USA out of the agreement. And now he has gone much, much further, dissolving the relationship with the process altogether. 

In Executive Order 14155, titled "Withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization",  signed by United States president Donald Trump on January 20, 2025, the first day of his second presidential term. The order directed the withdrawal of the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO). 

Commenting on the withdrawal Trump said the global health agency had mishandled the COVID-19 pandemic and other international health crises. He also accused the WHO of failing to act independently from the "inappropriate political influence of WHO member states" and required "unfairly onerous payments" from the U.S. that were disproportionate to the sums provided by other, larger countries, such as China.

"World Health ripped us off, everybody rips off the United States. It's not going to happen anymore," Trump said at the signing of an executive order on the withdrawal, shortly after his inauguration to a second term.

So that means WHO General Secretary Tedros the Terrorist can forget 'the next pandemic' which he has been planning in collaboration with Bill Gates and other quasi - philantropic grifters.

 

Most people are not fully aware of the extent to which we who think we are citizens of free sovereign nations now live under a series of mob like protection rackets.These supranational bureaucracies are just protection rackets.  The UN, WEF, WHO, CCP, EU are almost indistinguishable in their intent which is to push for creation of a global government and the removal of Western sovereign nations and using methods to destabilise western nations as described by Yuri Bezmenov.

Breaking away from these international protection rackets makes all the sense in the world for Trump who is the ultimate mobster and who clearly carries himself with the intention of being the godfather of all godfathers. For him there is only one protection racket, and that is the United States of America.

OK Trump is not perfect and we Boggart Bloggers are by no definition supporters butat least citizens of the USA are in a clearer position now. There’s always a tradeoff if you give someone else power to exercise on your behalf, but at least they know who has that power – and it’s someone they can remove every 4 or 5 years.

Sadly, it would take a revolution to extricate the UK from the UN and its tentacle organisations.  Our deeply embedded political class is intensely wedded to the idea of globalisation and the erosion of national sovereignty.  

The reason is that the UN is a substantially British project dating back to WWII, which can trace its origins back further with the League of Nations in the aftermath of WWI in the 1920’s.

You only have to look back on the works of prominent thinkers such as H.G.Wells in the 1930’s and Bertrand Russell in the 1950’s to see how these ideas developed.

As this article sets out, the UN was formulated by a committee made up of representatives from the USA, UK and Soviet Union working in the UK Foreign Office, London in 1942 (scroll down a bit for detailed history of its origins.) Despite the high ideals set out in the UN Charter, signed in 1945, the United Nation Organisaion and its many agencies have abandoned the founding principles and become dominated by politically motivated globalist interests.

Expert Smeared by Media and Greenpeace for Debunking Global Warming

It was entirely predictable that soon after Dr. Matt Briggs co-authored a major peer-reviewed climate physics paper exposing serious errors in the hugely expensive and allegedly infallible computer models used by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the left would start the usual tactics of smears and lies to discredit briggs' work and the man himself.

The research document's contributors have been smeared by the New York Times, The Guardian, the Washington Post and the Boston Globe because the errors it revealed suggest that there is no climate crisis after all. The planet as a whole is warming but not so rapidly as to suggest what is happening is something other than the normal climate variation cycle.

Dr. Briggs told Breitbart News that he, Lord Monckton, physicist Dr. Willie Soon, and former Delaware Climatologist David Legates developed a simple climate model that exposed the errors in more complex computer models used by the IPCC. The report was released in a joint article titled: “Why Models Run Hot: Results from An Irreducibly Simple Climate Model.”

Dr. Briggs, who has a Ph.D. in mathematical statistics from Cornell University and was assistant editor for the Monthly Weather Review, is widely published on matters concerning climate. He explained that for decades "the computer climate models on which the IPCC and others rely, make forecasts where the temperature will be way up there. But, the reality is the temperature has been way down here. So these monitors are running hot!"

The reason the team know that the models are running hot is based on a 'firm scientific principle,' says Briggs. "If a model is making bad predictions, which these climate models are, the theory that underlies them must be wrong. So these models must be wrong." In saying this he is paraphrasing Richard Feynman, one of the most respected physicists ever.

Briggs explained that atmospheric reaction to carbon dioxide, known as climate sensitivity, is probably set too high in these models. "If you take this climate sensitivity model and tone it down, you get a much closer match to reality." He contends that the computer models are overcompensating for the addition of CO2 to the atmosphere.

Although their findings weren’t that controversial scientifically, it was "unwelcome news" to the IPCC and other 'Warmageddonists'and the left wing politiciized science camp reacted so angrily to cititicism it led a lot of people to conclude thay had a lot to hide; "And that’s when the whole thing began to blow-up," Briggs said.

A Breitbart reporter asked Briggs how he reacts to all the “smug” entertainers, celebrities, personalities, and others who assert that global warming is a settled science. Briggs responded by explaining that what is settled, "is the fundamental, unshakable scientific principle, that if you have a theory that makes bad predictions, that theory must be wrong. And we have had lousy predictions from these climate models for years and years and years. Something must be wrong. This is undeniable."

The smearing of Briggs et al is classical radical left wing tactics. To smear and attack is their modus operandi, truth is irrelevant, the end justifies the means the agenda is to suppress all opposition and create a global, totalitarian , Marxist government - and if you think that might not be so bad, do some research on Russia under Josef Stalin or China under Chairman Mao. Life was not good, people did not live in caring, sharing, all-join-hands-and sing-Kumbaya, utopian harmony. The sharing was that when people have nothing they can share it equally with everybody and be no wprse off and the only equality lay in the fact that everybody had an equal chance of being arrested, given a show trial, tortured until guilt is confessed and executed without ever knowing what their crime was.

The Global Warming scare was always about total control for the left, the elimination of all political diversity, with few or no freedoms for the individual. As Marx wrote in The Communist Maifesto, the concept of the individual will become obsolete, only the 'collective' (the State) is important, individualism is the antithesis of collectivist ideology as defined by The Frankfurt School.

Proof enough? Not for the left wing promoters of the climate change fraud, a million pieces of evidence, scientific and empirical, must have been offered by those who challenge their quasi - religious dogma. They dismiss it all and simply will not listen to anybody who questions their certainties.

It really does not matter how many scientific papers disproving this monstrous global warming fraud scam are written, the left are just not interested in either in science, or the truth.

They will slag us sceptics off at every turn, whether we are right or wrong, because that's what the agenda demands of them. They will continue to publish claptrap backed up by bogus 'science' and manufactured statistics, with added impetus, this year, because the desired result at the Paris conference on climate change depends upon it.

We know, and they know that none of their "evidence" stacks up, and is blatantly fraudulent, but they will continue to tell themselves, and each other, that they're right, and that the rest of the world must kowtow to their demands, in order to "save" itself. And since the era of the Ancient Greeks, Phobos and Diemos (fear and panic) have been the most efficient way to control the population, so the politicians are happy to get on board with anything that offers to prolong their grip on power.

Having worked with computers for over thirty years, I could without much difficulty make a computer model that says anything I require it to, a computer model is nothing more than a set of calculations, if data gathered from real world observations is used they can be useful (although in the case of the climate there are too many unknowns to build a relable picture) use made up data as the climate science lobby have (their habiyt of 'adjusting' data has been exposed), so they proves absolutely nothing.

But as is shown above science is not an effective weapon to fight political agendas, propaganda and dogma.

Anyone who reads comment threads on internet news sites will be aware of the consequences of opposing the left wing agenda. The hate attacks will be relentless; racist, right wing extremist, and denier are among the milder terms of abuse. And people who insist on defending diversity of ideas will be pursued around the web, attacked and undermined anywhere they try to express an opinion.

But this is par for the course. Just check out the history record for those that resist totalitarian control in places where Marxist or Socialist regimes have gained total power. Hundreds of millions have suffered and a hundred million have died.

In Britain, Germany, Sweden, France we have been lucky, our socialist parties have always been a mix of left wing authoritarianism and democratic liberalism. But the left, having infiltrated education, the public services and the justice system are currently in no mood to compromise with anyone. The behaviour when trying to shout down intelligent debate on the climate change fraud illustrates that.

Don't overstate 1.5 degrees C threat, new IPCC head says

 Jim Skea, the new head of the UN's IPCC, said it's not helpful to imply that a temperature rise of 1.5 degrees Celsius is an existential threat to humanity. He calls for a balanced approach to the climate change debate.

The newly appointed head of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Jim Skea, spoke to two major German news outlets over the weekend, soon after his appointment to the role. 

Speaking to weekly magazine Der Spiegel, in an interview first published on Saturday, Skea warned against laying too much value on the international community's current nominal target of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius compared the pre-industrial era.

"We should not despair and fall into a state of shock" if global temperatures were to increase by this amount, he said.

In a separate discussion with German news agency DPA, Skea expanded on why. 

"If you constantly communicate the message that we are all doomed to extinction, then that paralyzes people and prevents them from taking the necessary steps to get a grip on climate change," he said. 

"The world won't end if it warms by more than 1.5 degrees," Skea told Der Spiegel. "It will however be a more dangerous world." 

Surpassing that mark would lead to many problems and social tensions, he said, but still that would not constitute an existential threat to humanity. 

The international community's stated target is currently to limit global warming to the 1.5 degrees Celsius target, even though UN estimates suggest that the current commitments made by countries are actually likely to fall far short of their nominal goal.

New UN Report on Climate Change – Nothing New, Nothing True

The latest United Nations (“UN”) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (“IPCC”) report, published this week, once again, in scaremongering tone and the language of the panic stricken, claims that the planet is in peril (we are facing climate disaster, the clock is at one minute to midnight,  we must take urgent action to destroy civilisation if we are to save the planet, the usual over - dramatised guff designed to spread fear and panic,) basically the same claim as they have been making at least twice a month for the past 20 years.  

As usual the publication was greeted by calls from weirdie beardie, tree hugging types for harsher government measures, even lockdowns similar to those that not only failed to stop the spread of COVID but contributed to current food shortages and the energy crisis that is driving millions of families into poverty. As a weapon to tackle the so-called climate emergency due to increasing carbon dioxide (“CO2”) and global warming, lockdowns can only be less effective and more damaging than they were against the hoax pandemic. 

 However the bulk of unbiased scientific evidence, little oif which is reported by mainstream media, shows that current climate instability are not due to CO2, very little of which is emitted as a result of human activity anyway, and there is no climate emergency. On the contrary, thanks to CO2, the Earth’s greening gas, the planet is healthier than ever while in the past 25 years, according to real world data rather than that obtained from mathematical models, has actually cooled very slightly since peaking in 1998.

So far this year the IPCC has published the first two instalments in a trilogy of mammoth scientific assessments (not good for the reforestation projects going on around the world and have these pseudo - scientific clowns any idea how much energy is consumed by every web searc?) puroprting to explain how greenhouse gas emissions are heating the planet and what that means for life on Earth. Released on 4 April the third and final installment, ‘Mitigation of Climate Change’offers suggestions about what can be done to mitigate these effects. Consisting of 2800 pages it is by far the most comprehensive assessment ever produced of how not to halt global heating.
