A Muslim View Of The Conflict In Iran And Tehran's Theocratic Regime

 

In the past few days we have seen the world divide into the usual binary over the US / Israeli attacks on Iran. People on the more conservative end of the political spectrum are supporting Trump's bid to bring down Iran's brutal, theocratic regime, at the other end leftists are in the streets protesting in support of Iran and Gaza. And in the middle, where the balanced, common sense view of the situation should be is the usual void.

 

Now this blog hsas spent the past few days trying to report on the development of the conflicts and its likely effect on the prospetity and lifestyles of people in the east and west, particularly as, with support from China, Iran has the ability to close the sea route throug the Stait of Hormuz which is vital for oil transportation. 

 

Our neutrality was not because we did not want to take sides, although we always try to avoid taking sides in international squabbles, but because the situation is for more complex than we in the west, with only the limited and extremely biased information provided by mainstream media to inform us, can be aware of. It seems that people in other Islamic nations feared and despised the Iranian regime a much as we in the west.

 

As usual the "We're the good guys, they're the bad guys," approach from both sides is totally inadequate. Fortunately  we spotted this post, on Facebook, from a Moroccan Musim who does understand the Iran problem, and as there is an open invitation to share the post for information, we bring it to you today.

For days now, I have been watching a strange narrative spreading across Western media and social networks: the claim that the confrontation with the Iranian regime is somehow “Israel’s war” and that the United States was dragged into it.

As a Moroccan Muslim and an Arab who has spent years studying the politics of our region, I can say clearly: this argument is not only false—it is intellectually dishonest.

Let us start with a simple fact. The Islamic Republic of Iran has not spent the last four decades declaring war only on Israel. Its leaders openly speak of fighting the “Great Satan” — the United States — and the “Little Satan” — Israel. For 47 years, their ideology has been built around exporting revolution, destabilizing the Middle East, and spreading militant networks across the region.

This is not an Israeli fantasy. It is Iran’s own declared doctrine.

Iran finances militias, trains terrorist organizations, and builds missile and nuclear capabilities while threatening not only Israel but also Arab countries, American forces, and global stability. From Lebanon to Iraq, from Yemen to Syria, the fingerprints of Tehran are everywhere.

So when the United States acts against that regime, it is not acting on behalf of Israel. It is acting to defend its own strategic interests and the stability of the international system.

The idea that Washington needs to be “manipulated” by Jerusalem into recognizing this threat is absurd. 

Every American administration of the 21st century—Republican or Democrat—has stated clearly that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons is a fundamental national security priority.

The debate in Washington has never been about whether Iran is dangerous. The debate has only been about how to stop it.

Some believed diplomacy and concessions would change the behavior of the clerical regime. Others believe that a regime driven by revolutionary ideology and apocalyptic theology will never voluntarily abandon its ambitions.

But pretending that the Iranian threat exists only in Israel’s imagination is a dangerous illusion.

There is also another uncomfortable truth: Iran today is not an isolated regional actor. It is deeply connected to the broader geopolitical challenge facing the West. 

Tehran has become a strategic partner of Russia and an economic partner of China. Chinese purchases of Iranian oil have helped keep the regime alive despite international sanctions, while Iranian drones have played a central role in Russia’s war in Ukraine.

This is not a local Israeli issue. It is part of a global strategic confrontation.

Those who repeat the slogan “this is Israel’s war” are ignoring the obvious: a nuclear-armed Iran would not threaten only Tel Aviv. It would threaten the entire Middle East, including Arab countries, and it would destabilize global security for decades.

And yet, instead of confronting this reality, many prefer to blame Israel. They claim that the Jewish state somehow controls American policy, pushes Washington into wars, or manipulates global politics behind the scenes.

These accusations are not serious geopolitical analysis. They are recycled conspiracy theories that have circulated for generations.

Criticizing governments is legitimate. Debating military decisions is legitimate. But reducing complex strategic decisions to the idea that “Israel controls America” is not criticism—it is propaganda.

Israel does not need to invent the Iranian threat. Iranian leaders themselves have repeatedly called for the destruction of the Jewish state. They openly describe Israel as a country that could be erased with a single nuclear weapon. No responsible nation would ignore such threats.

Standing against the Iranian regime is not about serving Israel. It is about preventing a radical theocracy from acquiring the most dangerous weapons on earth and using them to reshape the Middle East through intimidation, violence, and nuclear blackmail.

If that threat disappears, Israel will be safer. But so will Arab nations, Europe, and the United States.

Recognizing that reality does not require being Jewish or Israeli.

Sometimes it simply requires honesty.

And as an Arab Muslim who believes in stability, sovereignty, and the future of our region, I refuse to repeat narratives that protect the most dangerous regime in the Middle East while blaming the only democracy in the region for defending itself.

Minneapolis Protester Shot By Immigration Officer - A Balanced View

 

 

US Vice - President JD Vance claimed the woman shot and killed by an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis was responsible for her own death.

The VP suggested Renee Nicole Good, 37, was at fault for the shooting. She was killed on Wednesday during a confrontation with a federal agent taking part in an immigration raid, who fired his weapon through the windscreen of her SUV. The death has sparked the usual outrage in the US and as usual in the culture war as in any other war, truth has been the main casualty. 

In a post on X, Vice President Vance said the death was a “tragedy” but one “that falls on this woman and all of the radicals who teach people that immigration is the one type of law that rioters are allowed to interfere with”. He might have added that radicals and leftists need to understand that immigrants are not above the law. As Marcus Tullius Cicero wrote around 2000 years ago, 'In a civilised society there can only be one law and it must be applied equally to all.'

On Thursday, protesters clashed with immigration officers after the killing of Ms. Good as she and other protestors tried to prevent officers from carrying out their duty. Federal agents fired pepper balls to try to push back crowds and deployed a gas-like substance, according to CNN.

Let’s take the ideology and emotion out of this. This woman did help escalate a situation by blocking the street with her car, reportedly as part of a protest aimed at preventing Immigration officers from raiding a property believed to be occupied by illegal immigrants. She should clearly not have tried to drive away, but the officers had approached her car in an agressive manner. However she is clearly heard refusing to comply with an order to get out of her car and then as one officer tried to grab the ignion key she decides to use her car as a weapon and drives forward, towards another officer who is standing in front of her car.

As the car was moving slowly we cannot say if the officer who fired had time to move out of the way or not, but there was no reason to shoot to kill. What is apparent is a distinct lck of common sense on the part of both the deceased and the officers. This is the United States of America where law enforcement officers are known to be trigger happy. Refusing to comply with an order given by an armed cop or Federal Agent is sheer insanity as well as unlawful. On the other hand the police approach was never likely to lead to a peaceful resolution. 

Police could have let her drive away, blocked to road ahead and surrrounded the driver.

The reality is her actions were unlawful, unjustified and so were ICE's. She did not deserve to die but the ICE officers didn't deserved to be hit by her car either, even though the contact was minimal.

But as usual in these situations, the incident is being politicised. Less usual is that the media focus on the killing is deflecting attention from the bigger picture of immigrant crime in the Minneapolis area.

When an unarmed protester was shot dead for interfering with the law a few years ago, Democrats and progressives celebrated, justified it and believed it to be the right course of action so they clearly do tolerate unarmed activists being shot dead when they are Republican o supporting right wing causes. Thus this clearly isn't about a protestor against some government policy being needlessly killed  but instead  the outrage is because a Democrat or progressive rather than a Republican or conservative is dead.

We are clearly failing as a society when we decide whether a death is justified or not just because of someone's politics. So I find it hypocritical that the left in the USA are outraged when recently they have enthusiasitically celebrated the deaths of multiple people, including the murder of Charlie Kirk. It's also hypocritical of  the political right to claim shooting someone unarmed is justified when they were outraged about the republican protestor being shot dead.

The reality is this woman broke the law, she used her car to obstruct, then when she hit the officer with it, which she did in the full videos not the selectivly edited ones in which the officr in question is not clearly visible, she then was doing a hit and run. If she had just stopped her vehicle and got out when requested none of this would have happened and if she didn't use her car to unlawfully block ice agents she'd be alive. She chose her actions, she should not have been there and she was shot dead whilst breaking multiple laws and exacerbating that by refsing to comply with an order to leave her car..

Was the shooting justified? No absolutely not, however when there are tutorial videos online teaching activists to not only block but to purposely hurt agents with those cars, you can understand why police and federal agents are quick to shoot: they fear for their lives.

German Feminist Says Authorities Covered Up Muslim Sex Crime For Twenty Years

Angela Merkel And Alice Schwarzer fail to see eye to eye on Merkel's policy of ignoring Muslim men's sex crimes for the sake of multiculturalism and diversity.

As the outcry about sex attacks on European women by recently arrived Muslim migrants refuses to die down, a leading German feminist, Alice Schwarzer, has said the politically correct “bubble has burst” and Germans should speak out against Islamic extremism and refusal to respect German and European traditions. She claimed German police have been covering up the rape culture of Muslim males for 20 years, and said that sexual violence was now being used as a weapon of war in Germany.

We have warned in the past that the politically correct, sociopathic idiots who lead western nations have been deliberately importing people whose behaviour, while normal in the third world cesspits these brutes crawl out of, could never be acceptable in western democracies.

By in large, the feminist, who tend to be more concerned with being seen to be politically correct that with genuine womens' equality issues, react to the migrant sex attacks problem either by denying it exists or trying to deflect attention from it by screeching about a fantasy “western rape culture”. Others occasionally blame women victimes for rape, because multiculturalism.

As we reported shortly after the attacks, a local feminists and socialist politicians in Cologne blamed European women for the rapes and accused them of dressing in ways that was bound to incite Muslim men to violence. Some left wingers even held a protest in support of further mass migration, and a British feminist publication tried to justify blaming female victims because the male Muslim attackers were “oppressed”.

Alice Schwarzer (pictured left, next to German Chancellor Angela Merkel), is a veteran “second wave” feminist who rose to prominence before feminism became preoccupied with same sex marriage and excusing Islamic and misogynistic Muslim culture which permits not only rape of Kaffir (impure, i.e. non Muslim) women, but domestic violence, masrital rape, forced marriage and a view of women that condemns them to lives of virtual slavery.

Schwarzer has previously called for a ban on the wearing of the Islamic headscarf in schools or other public settings, and warned of a creeping Islamisation of Europe, which in her opinion would lead to an erosion of human rights, especially women’s rights.

She told German newspaper Die Welt in an interview yesterday that her Cologne based magazine Emma.de has been one of the only voices speaking out for women in Germany over the past 25 years.

“Since then, I have in certain circles been cheerfully reviled as a racist by multicultualists, Leftists and converts to Islam”, she said, explaining that she has faced “enormous intimidation” from left wing Europeans and extreme right wing Muslims for speaking out“Entire books have been published against me to try to shut me up. But in my case, it has not succeeded.”

She also accused German police of covering up the scale of migrant and Muslim rape and sex crime for more that two decades.

“20 years ago, a Cologne police officer said to me: ‘Alice, 70 to 80 percent of all rapes in Cologne go to the account of Turks.’ I was shocked and replied: ‘You absolutely must make it public! Even a Turk is not born as a rapist. There must be causes. What’s going on here? What can we do?’

“But the message was clear: ‘No way, that’s not politically expedient’. And it is this kind of political correctness that conceals the truth of Muslim rape culture” she said.

She also said that there are in fact many people in Germany who, like her, feel, “critical about the importation of so many migrants and refugees in Germany and their failure to integrate”. She said people have not spoken because they “fear the racism accusation”, but after Cologne, “This bubble has now burst”.
