Five Suicide Bombings Target Chad, Killing Over 40 People - Boko Haram Blamed.

With all the attention focused on Syria, Yemen and Ukraine we tend to overlook that nasty little war against Islamic Extremists Boko Haram in central Africa. But if you are a gambler we'd suggest that now Vladimir Putin has tired of Saudi Arabian puppet Barack Obama pussyfooting around in Syria and has taken it upon himself to kick the collective arse of ISIS, Al Nusra and Al Qaeda, the min theatre of the war against extremism will move to Africa.

Could this be the beginning?

Chad (sources: Associated Press, Agencie Presse France) — A village in Chad, one of the world's poorest nations, was targeted by terrorists on Saturday. The village in a region of Chad that is home to thousands of Nigerian refugees forced to flee from their homes by the brutal violence of Islamic extremist group Boko Haram, was devastated by at leat five sucicide bombing attacks which killed at least 36 people and left about 50 others wounded. Officials said the attacks appeared to be coordinated.

Authorities in Chad have blamed extremists from neighboring Nigeria for staging the attacks in the western village of Baga Sola. A communique from government spokesman Hassan Sylla Bakari claimed at least 41 people had died, including the five suicide bombers who were identified as two women, two children and a man. Some of the wounded are in a critical condition and are not expected to survive.

A group of suicide bombers, all thought to be female, hit the market in Baga Sola at its busiest time on Saturday, killing at least 16 people, the head of Chad's gendarmerie, Gen. Banyaman Cossingar said. A second group of suicide bombers killed at least 22 people at a nearby refugee camp, he said, although the final death toll from that attack is not known.

There were conflicting reports on the number of wounded. The government's official count was 48, while UNICEF said at least 53 people were wounded, including 14 children. Police spokesman Paul Manka said the attackers staged five bombings, adding that two were near the refugee camp but not in it. News agencies in Africa, prinicipally associated Press and Agencie Presse France said it was not immediately possible to independently verify the differing claims due to the extremely remote location of the attacks.

For months, Baga Sola has been home to thousands of people who already had fled deadly Boko Haram attacks in Nigeria. The U.N. says the Dar-es-Salam camp now has just over 3,000 refugees, and can house up to 15,000. The village is in the Lake Chad region near the border with Nigeria, where Boko Haram first launched its insurgency six years ago. Amnesty International says the uprising has killed 20,000 people. While Boko Haram has attacked Chad's capital before, the bombings on Saturday appear to be the largest and most elaborate staged yet in the country's lake region.

The Revolution Is Spreading: Now Austria Turns Against The Anti - White Leftist Elite

With Sweden's coalition of opponents, formed to deny a place in government to the anti - immigration, pro - Swedish culture party The Sweden Democrats a place in government that was their democratic right, with France's Front National, led by Marine Le Pen topping polls and other parties opposed to mass immigration and the destruction of European culture riding high elsewhere, Austria has become the latest nation where voters have turned their backs on the consensus politics of Cultural Marxism.

The Austrian Freedom Party (FPO) which strongly opposes the mass migration engineered by the EU and supported by all European integrationist leaders appear to be on the verge of winning control of the municipal authority of Vienna, a city which has consistently voted socialist since the end of World War 2.

With citizens' concerns about the influx of Muslim migrants and its long term consequences growing, Viennese voters are turning to the FPO en masse. In latest polls the party is now only one point behind the city’s governing socialist democrats, within pollsters margin of error.

FPO leader Heinz-Christian Strache addressing a rally of FPO supporters outside St Stephen’s Cathedral on Thursday said: "Let’s roll up our sleeves and do this, out of love for our home town, out of love for the people of this city! We will succeed, I can feel it."

In the last round of elections, five years ago, the FPO was over 18 points behind the victorious socialists. Now they are statistically even, with the momentum of anger at the unchecked arrival of illegal immigrants behind them, raising the possibility they could find themselves in control of Vienna's city government. Even if the FPO emerge as the largest party however, the socialists are likely to try to form a coalition of opposites as happened in Sweden, to make sure the status quo is preserved. Such is the contempt of the political elite for democracy, constitutional law and the people.

Whatever happens in Vienna's City Hall, a strong performance by the FPO would shake the foundations of Austria’s political establishment, with Vienna typically regarded as being so left wing and politically correct that it has often been referred to as Europe's “red city”. Unfortunately being left wing does not buy Viennese women any indulgences with Muslim extremists, if in town alone they are still considered prostitutes and impure women who deserve to be raped.

One Viennese FPO supporter told The Local she had not been able to find a “real job” for the past four years. She explained why she was voting for Strache: “This time we stand a chance of being heard. People realise that the real defender of workers’ rights is him.”

More than 200,000 people passed through Austria last month, forcing the country to reinstate border controls along with Germany, Slovakia and the Netherlands.

In June 2015, the FPO joined with France's Front National and the Dutch Freedom Party to form the Europe of Nations and Freedom group in the European Parliament.

Regime Change As American As Thanksgiving

Russia's Sputnik News opined a few days ago that US President Barack Obama is someone to almost pity. For he has the unenviable task of standing before the nations of the world and blether the self — righteous lies of western propagandists, as he did again, during recent his address to the UN General Assembly.

By contrast, Russian President Vladimir Putin in his address to the UN may not have displayed the same oratorical flourishes as Obama's autocue, but Putin spoke about serious international problems with words that set out Russia's position clearly. When Putin spoke of the UN charter and international law being undermined by unilateral actions of the United States (usually supported bt the UK, France and the EU, he identified the cause of so much conflict, chaos and terrorism, in so many parts of the world.

To address these problems effectively the world needs a truthful and accurate diagnosis. Putin delivered that, by pointing to US meddling in the domestic affairs of sovereign nations (to enable the spraed of liberal democracy) which has almost always resulted in a humanitarian disaster, but on a few occasions has ended with a victory for the enemies of democracy. Obama, in idiotically saying that what is good for the USA is good for all other nations added further layers of obfuscation and misinformation, and by spelling out US committment to its ambition to be the global hegemon, making such problems ever-more insoluble.

As Putin stated, illegal US-sponsored regime-change campaigns thinly disguised as humanitarian interventions subvert international law and the UN Charter and are at the heart of long - running conflicts in Afghanistan to Iraq, from Libya to Syria, throughout Africa and to into Europe where the civil war in Ukraine was triggered by a CIA engineered coup d'etat.

American-led interventions have also fuelled the expansion of terror networks and extremist organizations through the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. Putin's Russia has provided the most logical, response to US backed terrorism; supporting legitimate, sovereign governments of Syria and other embattled regimes, no matter how illiberal they might seem to the western consciousness, to defeat foreign-backed terrorism in that country is one such solution. It cannot be denied that Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gadaffi maintained a brutal kind of order and kept the lid on ancient sectarian hatereds that offered only a brutal kind of chaos.

Amid the farrago of violence that is Neo-Con and Neo-Liberal American administrations gift to the world, Obama tried to paint a rose-tinted view of the Pax - Americana world that was audacious in its absurdity. Perhaps as the USA prepares to celebrate it's annual Thanksgiving feast, the rest of the world should give thanks for the obduracy of Russia, China and Iran.

Amnesty International Says The U.S.-Supported Coalition In Yemen Is Committing War Crimes

The uprisings of the Arab Spring which were prompted by an inflammatory speech Obama made in Cairo, in which he promised US support to any rebel group fighting to overthrow a tyrannical regime, hit Yemen in 2011. Then-President Ali Abdullah Saleh was forced out of office and power was handed to Vice President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi. Under Hadi the country was politically paralyzed and the rebel Houthis, who had successfully opposed Saleh mobilized their supporters in and around the capital San'a and began moving south towards the port city Aden where Hadi had set up his headquarters. He was eventually forced to flee the country.
The Saudis formed a coalition with Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates to support Hadi and counter the Houthis advance. "The U.S. provides logistical and intelligence support for the air campaign — even refueling its jets," NPR reported last week. The bombing has proved effective in countering the advance of the Houthis, who have also committed war crimes according to international rights groups, and allowed Hadi to return to Aden after months of exile.
What a lot of people in the middle east did not understand was that when Obama promised US support for rebels fighting to overthrow tyrannical regimes, what he meant was rebels fighting to overthrow regimes Washington wanted overthrown (such as Assad in Syria, as we reported elsewhere, the USA has been working to oust Assad since 2006. Saudi Arabia, Washington's major ally in the Arab world is a different matter so if the Saudis felt threatened by Houthi rebels in Yemen then The White House felt threatened by them too.
In March 2015, a Saudi-led coalition began bombing Yemen in an attempt to support the embattled regime and counter the advance of the Shia Houthi rebels. This coalition, supported by logistics and intelligence provided by the United States, has now been accused of war crimes by the human rights group Amnesty International.
“The coalition airstrikes investigated by Amnesty International in Sa’da governorate have involved serious violations of international humanitarian law, including war crimes,” the report, published this month by Amnesty, reads.

NATO violates treaty to support the Evil Empire

Since the Russians got fed up of Obama using his ISIS puppets to attack Russia's long time ally Syria and exposed American claims they were fighting the ragbag army of fanatics, criminals, mercenaries and ragheads in the middle east and decided to kick the shit out of the rebels before their fanatical version of Islam destabilized Europe, The Ministry Of Truth (i.e. government public relations departments and all of western print and broadcast media) has turned the outrage generator up to eleven in their efforts to demonize Russia and its leader Vladimir Putin.

What is not mentioned of course is that starting with Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003, every American led intervention in the domestic affairs of sovereign nations has violated a legally binding treaty signed in 1997 between NATO and the Russian Federation.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization and its member States, on the one hand, and the Russian Federation, on the other hand, hereinafter referred to as NATO and Russia, based on an enduring political commitment undertaken at the highest political level, will build together a lasting and inclusive peace in the Euro-Atlantic area on the principles of democracy and cooperative security.

NATO and Russia do not consider each other as adversaries. They share the goal of overcoming the vestiges of earlier confrontation and competition and of strengthening mutual trust and cooperation. The present Act reaffirms the determination of NATO and Russia to give concrete substance to their shared commitment to build a stable, peaceful and undivided Europe, whole and free, to the benefit of all its peoples. Making this commitment at the highest political level marks the beginning of a fundamentally new relationship between NATO and Russia. They intend to develop, on the basis of common interest, reciprocity and transparency a strong, stable and enduring partnership.

This Act defines the goals and mechanism of consultation, cooperation, joint decision-making and joint action that will constitute the core of the mutual relations between NATO and Russia.

NATO has undertaken a historic transformation -- a process that will continue. In 1991 the Alliance revised its strategic doctrine to take account of the new security environment in Europe. Accordingly, NATO has radically reduced and continues the adaptation of its conventional and nuclear forces. While preserving the capability to meet the commitments undertaken in the Washington Treaty, NATO has expanded and will continue to expand its political functions, and taken on new missions of peacekeeping and crisis management in support of the United Nations (UN) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), such as in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to address new security challenges in close association with other countries and international organizations. NATO is in the process of developing the European Security and Defence Identity (ESDI) within the Alliance. It will continue to develop a broad and dynamic pattern of cooperation with OSCE participating States in particular through the Partnership for Peace and is working with Partner countries on the initiative to establish a Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. NATO member States have decided to examine NATO's Strategic Concept to ensure that it is fully consistent with Europe's new security situation and challenges.

Russia is continuing the building of a democratic society and the realization of its political and economic transformation. It is developing the concept of its national security and revising its military doctrine to ensure that they are fully consistent with new security realities. Russia has carried out deep reductions in its armed forces, has withdrawn its forces on an unprecedented scale from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries and withdrawn all its nuclear weapons back to its own national territory. Russia is committed to further reducing its conventional and nuclear forces. It is actively participating in peacekeeping operations in support of the UN and the OSCE, as well as in crisis management in different areas of the world. Russia is contributing to the multinational forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We Learn More Of The USAs Real Foreign Policy From Wikileaks Than We Do From Washington

Most of the important information needed for understanding current events comes, not from established news media or official government communiques, but from sources that were prepared to risk breaking the law or simply being eliminated for being too troublesome in order to make know to the public certain information that was never intended to be shielded from the public. Not in the public interest was a favourite phrase to justify not making public certain things it was very much in our interests to know about.

When over 250,000 communications between U.S. diplomats that were never meant to see the light of day were made public via Wikileaks by public sector employees disgusted at the things our governments were doing that were definitely not in the public interests, suddenly the ruling elites who had had things their own way for too long were on the back foot. A number of researchers have put together a treasure trove of information and analysis that can be immensely clarifying. They are available at WikiLeaks, the nonprofit media organization that accepts confidential information from anonymous sources and releases it to news sources and the public. (The recently released book from this research, published by Verso, is "The WikiLeaks Files: The World According to U.S. Empire.")

One of the most interesting insights to emerge from the Wikileaks documents is US State Department policy on Syria, a strategically significant middle eastern nation which has dominated international news for the past few weeks because of Russian military intervention in support of the Assad regime as well as the surge of refugees from areas taken over by the US sponsored terrorist group, ISIL (aka Islamic State) who are causing chaos in Europe as they flod into EU member states that just do not have the infrastructure to cope with so many newly arrived people.

Why were Washington's efforts over two years to halt the progress of Islamic State so ineffective, when once Russia and Iran took a hand, the ISIS irregulars were on the run within a week?

Tanks to WikiLeaks, the nonprofit media organization that accepts confidential information from anonymous sources and releases it to news sources and the public, those of us in new media who do not have careers to think of or reputations to protect (I retired at age 49, eighteen years ago) and thus are free to write the truth can now tell you the answer can be found in diplomatic communications released by WikiLeaks, which show that regime change in Syria has been the policy of the U.S. government as far back as 2006.

In spite of diplomatic advice from their own embassy staff as well as allies, The White house refused to reconsider the policy of requiring Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to agree to resign before any meaningful negotiations to end the civil war can take place? Any diplomat could have told the White House that demanding the political suicide of a legitimate ruler who has the support of a majority of his people as a condition for negotiations between the USA and its major middle east allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar over which group of fanatical Islamists will replace him is not going to go far, especially when the legitimate ruler has not only public suport in his own nation, but powerful allies like Russia, China and Iran. US policy in Syria amounted to a commitment to indefinite war.

Even more horrifying, in view of the hundreds of thousands of deaths and countless lives ruined, not to mention 4 million people displaced, is the documented evidence that Washington was committed to a policy of promoting sectarian conflict in the Syria in order to destabilize the Assad government. A cable a senior U.S. embassy official in Damasus (the chargé d’affaires - the Ambasador had been withdrawn for his own safety) in December 2006 contains advice on how Washington could exacerbate the chaos in Syria and exploit certain “vulnerabilities” in the assad regime.
The vulnerabilities included "the presence of transiting Islamist extremists" and "Sunni fears of Iranian influence." (Assad and his ruling clique are Alawite Muslims, a branch of the Shia faith, ISIS, Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups are Wahabi, an extremist branch of Sunni, and the official relion of the Saudi Royal House and the rulers of Qatar.

Nobody in the U.S. State Department or Department of Defence could credibly claim ignorance of the inflammatory nature of this policy. The sectarian Sunni-Shia civil war in Iraq, which the U.S. military, The White House and The Pentagon claimed, was unsuccessfully trying to contain, could not have progressed beyond a local skirmish had the USA and its allies not armed and trained ISIS and Al Qaeda fighters, Assad's forces would have crushed the rag bag force of extremists without difficulty. (Similarly the local difficulty in Benghazi that was escalated by US, UK and French bombing into a regime change war that overthrew Gadaffi and turned Libya from Africas most prosperous and civilized nation to a chaotic failed state would have been crushed without US intervention on the side of the extremists.

In the U.S.A. public disgust with the sectarian civil war in Iraq that was spawned by the rundown of the U.S. and European occupation following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein's regime cost Republicans control of Congress in the November 2006 election. The election result immediately precipitated the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld as secretary of defense. Saddam was an evil tyrant, as was Gadaffi, but like Assad they kept order of a kind and prevented age old sectarian wars exploding into the modern world and spreading through the Islamic diaspora. No one working for the U.S. government on foreign policy at the time could have been unaware of the implications of promoting Sunni-Shia sectarianism. And most of the diplomatic staff continued in their posts when Barack Obama assumed the Presidency.

Further cables in the Wikileaks hoard also show that U.S. efforts to overthrow the Syrian government beginning visibly in 2011 but heralded by a speech made by Obama in Cairo in 2009 (he promised US support for all rebel groups fighting to overthrow governments the US administration did not like) were not in response to the Assad government’s repression of political opposition, but rather a long term strategy to get rid of Assad so the USA could threaten Russia's southern border. They explain why the U.S. government armed the ISIS rebls and the CIA were instruimental on forming the rival and hostile groups into a cohesive fighting force and why, while claiming to support democracy it ignored popular support for Assad in Syria. Syrian support for Assad has survived the civil war because a cursory review of the mess in Iraq (even before the rise of the ISIS) showed that a much worse fate for their country was likely shold Assad fall.

Even now, with hundreds of thousands dead and a military stalemate (until Vladimir Putin took a hand), Barack Obama’s administration is showing some flexibility toward meaningful negotiations, if only because the alternative is for the American military to take on Russia and Iran. Unfortunately, though predictably for those of us who researched the man in 2008, Obama has surrendered most if not all of America's credibility as a superpower to the Russians and Chinese and allowed Iran to establish itself as the main regional power.

Russian Warships Launch Missile Attack On Syrian Targets, Clearing Way For Iran Ground Invasion

In spite of Obama's lies, the majority of Syrians have remained loyal to Assad, simply because he kep the extremists under control.

In was always going to happen once the Russian air force had softened up ISIS and Al Qaeda positions in Syria. With the opposition on the run (and unconfirmable reports suggesting thousands of ISIS irregulars are desterting) thanks to five days of air bombardment from some of the most advanced strike aircraft in the world, we predicted Iran would send in the Hezbollah/Shiite militia/Quds clean up crew, who will take great plesasure in ensuring whoever is left in the wake of the Su-34 strikes is swiftly eliminated at close range. If there is one thing your average Muslim fantatic enjoys more than killing infidels its killing other Muslims for being the wrong flavour of Muslim.

The Russian rout of ISIS is a text book example of how to conduct a real war. No need for Wst Point graduates, Harvard guys with PhDs in political science or McKinsey management consultants chanting, "If it can be measuresd it can be managed", you don't need a university education to understand it, in fact a university education is probably a disadvantage (as it is in most things.) Russia has essentially debilitated Assad’s opposition from the air and now, Iran will stroll in (metaphorically and literally) mop up any pockets of resistance. Of course Damascus will get to claim that the SAA emerged victorious with the help of Russian air support, but in reality, there is no SAA, the ground campaign was being orchestrated from Damascus by Quds commander Qasem Soleimani. Reuters reports:

The Russian government says its Syria deployment came as the result of a formal request from Assad, who himself laid out the problems facing the Syrian military in stark terms in July, saying it faced a manpower problem.

Khamenei also sent a senior envoy to Moscow to meet President Vladimir Putin, another senior regional official said. "Putin told him 'Okay we will intervene. Send Qassem Soleimani'.

"Soleimani is almost resident in Damascus, or let's say he goes there a lot and you can find him between meetings with President Assad and visits to the theater of operations like any other soldier," said one of the senior regional officials.

What’s going on here really couldn’t be much clearer. Iran is simply taking over Syria with the help of the Russian air power. Russia gets to show of its SU 34s which should end any ideas in The Pentagon about US air supremacy. Putin gets to spin his Mid-East humiliation of the USA as a "war on terror." Associated Press (reporting from Beirut by the way, so just Google “Hezbollah, Iran, Lebanon,” and draw your own conclusions about who’s feeding them these headlines) said:

Syrian troops, emboldened by Russian airstrikes, launch a ground offensive against insurgents.

What is left of the Syrian army is otherwise engaged of course, but there are dozens of fierce Shiite militias from Syria and Iraq as well as the Kurdish PKK and there’s always Hezbollah, and supported by Russian air power, these make a formidable military force. Now Moscow is also firing on anti-regime targets from the sea. Russsia Today says:

Four Russian Navy warships have fired a total of 26 missiles at the position of the terrorist group Islamic State in Syria, Russia’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced. The missiles were fired from the Caspian Sea.

“Four missile ships launched 26 cruise missiles at 11 targets. According to objective control data, all the targets were destroyed. No civilian objects sustained damage,” Shoigu said.

The missiles flew some 1,500 km before reaching their targets, probing their efficiency.

The missile attacks came from Russia’s fleet in the Caspian Sea, which borders Russia, Iran and three other littoral countries. The precision weapons hit all intended targets.

The attacks apparently required cooperation from Iran and Iraq, as the missiles had to travel through their airspace to reach Syria.

Yes, “the attacks apparently required cooperation from Iran and Iraq” which we certainly imagine wasn’t too difficult for Moscow to obtain, because as we outlined in "Russia's action against ISIS in Syria outwits Obama Again", this was the plan all along.

Still sceptical? Just consider the following out today from The Wall Street Journal:

Iraqi Shiite lawmakers and militia leaders are urging Russia to launch airstrikes on Islamic State militants in their country, an escalation that would heighten tensions with Washington and increase risks of a clash between the two powers.

Since Moscow began bombing opponents of the regime in Syria last week, Iraq’s Shiite politicians, who dominate government, have been largely united in their praise of Moscow’s intervention and in calls for Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to invite Russia to join the battle. Mr. Abadi said he would welcome Russian strikes as long as they were coordinated with the U.S.-led coalition’s air campaign against Islamic State in Iraq.

“We welcome Russian airstrikes in Iraq to help hit Islamic State headquarters, target Islamic State supply lines from Syria and target the oil smuggling lines,” said Moeen al-Kadhimi, a spokesman for the Badr Corps, an Iranian-backed militia and political party that plays a front-line role in fighting Islamic State. “We welcome Russia as they have advanced military technology and can help with intelligence.”

For Moscow, any involvement in Iraq would be even more complicated than its current Syria gambit. A Kremlin play in Iraq is likely to spotlight weaknesses of U.S. policy there, while exposing the contradictions in the Iraqi government’s dueling alliances, said Anthony Cordesman, a longtime Iraq analyst at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

“It would be difficult to sustain congressional support for an Iraq playing off Iran and Russia against the U.S.,” he said. “The administration would have very tough calls to make.”

Options would include leaving Iraq or finding a way to operate in parallel with Russia and Iran, raising questions about broader U.S. goals in Iraq.

“We don’t really have a strategy, just a set of short-term engagements,” he said.

No, Washington doesn't "really have a strategy" in Iraq because they had no intention of defeating ISIS, a terrorist fightinf forced set up by the CIA with the intention of turning Syeia and Iraq into failed states like Libya and destabilizing Iran, but guess who does? Tehran. And the very same General who is running the Syrian gound war from Damascus and who Putin sent for directly to organize the entire campaign is known to control the Iraqi Shiite millitia leaders. Now, Russia - which regards Iran as a good and strategically significant ally in the middle east is apparently set to kick the USA out of Iraq (and probably Afghanistan too) altogether.

And while Russia literally takes over the Mid-East, the West is busy trying to find ways to claim that Moscow is in violation of NATO members' sovereignty.

'No Borders’ Activist Gang Raped By Sudanese Migrants, Pressured Into Silence As Story Might ‘Damage The Cause'

After a female voluteer working for the "No Borders" movement was gang raped by Sudanese ~~beggars and scroungers~~, she claims she was pressured by colleagues into covering up the story because 'it might damage The Cause' 'refugees'. Asked to comment on the incident officials of the organisation would only say. "The woman has been removed"

The alleged victim, a woman of about 30 years, was working for the activist group for about a month, stationed at a 'refugee' camp at the Italian-French border crossong of Ponte San Ludovico in Ventimiglia. After being pressdured not to report the incident, she told police she was raped for over an hour by several men of Sudanese origin, while under one of the showers set up in a field neighboring the camp of Balzi Rossi.

According to reports in the newspapers La Stampa and Il Secolo XIX, the woman did not report the incident unti one month after it took place explaining to the police she remained silent for so long because she was convinced by fellow activists to avoid scandals because if the story was reported in media it would harm other migrants and delegitimize the struggles of No Borders, a group formed to help deal with the refugee emergency by support the claims of asylum seekers and encouraging more to come to Europe.

Violence
The woman explained that the violence of that night, a Saturday when a party going on, was not stopped because due to loud music no one heard her screams. She declared that it was eventually decided to report the incident to the police commissariat of Ventimiglia on the advice of an acquaintance. The perpetrator of the violence, meanwhile, would have left the border camp.

Denial

Authorities are investigating the case, which has many gray areas. Since the woman reported her rape, leaders of No Borders, interviewed by Riviera24 News explained that she was not be part of the "No Borders" The group with which she was involved had its No Borders afilliation withdrawn "because of its very libertine and provocative attitudes." So, "perhaps she acted out of spite," they said, suggesting she went to police in Ventimiglia to report the alleged rape from malice. For No Borders to be in denial is understandable, some of the group's volunteers, if it is confirmed the woman was pressured into staying silent, could be prosecuted for aiding and abetting the crime and perverting the course of justice.

The behaviour of migrants at the camp towards European women is sensitive issue, as it is in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands and Britain and a reasonavly credible allegation of rape by a migrant of a European woman is likely to further exacerbate tensions in the Italian-French border town of Ventimiglia where the emergency seems to be due more to the high handed and self righteous attitude of activists who show partisanship towards the migrants, while the migrants themselves behave as if they are still living under Sharia law in their native countries.

The Democratic Party mayor, Henry Ioculano, asked No Borders to vacate the tents and restore legality. Residents of the area have made numerous complaints to the degradation caused by the migrants lawless and unhygienic behaviour, the music and the noise at night to the area they live in. Traders near the border crossing complain that where French people used to buy from them because tobacco and liquor prices are much lower than those in France, business has fallen because of aggressive begging by migrants. Some have even dhut up shop because of the fear generated by the presence the "No Borders" camp whose residents seem to be under the impression that they do not have to pay Chrisian shopkeepers for goods. Recently the French Gendarmerie have introduced tighter border controls.

The US Shale Oil Industry Will Simply Vanish says Energy Information Administration (EIA)

A few months ago, before the June oil prices crash, the US oil industry was ebullient. "It is too late for OPEC to stop the shale revolution", industry pundits squawked, "OPEC can’t stop the shale industry" – screamed banner headlines in the usually restrained financial press.

In July, the projected the expansion of US shale oil and gas supply in 2016 had to be adjusted to take into account new conditions. Compared to the first-half of 2014, US crude oil prices had declined by 47%. Fracking, the process of getting oil and gas to the surface from oil shale deposits is expensive. And messy. And making the oil and gas useable asfter it has been got out of the ground is another expensive process. With EIA forecasts predicting the Brent crude oil (the highest quality crude oil) average price will rise in 2016 scarcely to 59$ from average 54$ in 2015, it simply is not worth the expense of getting oil and gas out of the ground.

This is not only because of poor product quality; shale oil wells only have a very short life in which to pay back investment. Production start to collapse exponentially the moment a new well is in operation. Within 3 to 5 years these wells produce less than 20% of their initial production capacity.

My research indicates the running costs for one well is about $20 dollars per barrel, at current prices hardly enough to keep the well running. To create commercial products from shale oil, costs average around $35 to $40 dollars a barrel including transport, storage etc.. US shale companies need 57 dollar a barrel to break even. Most shale producers get paid less than spot market prices because of quality related problems.

The financial mainstream-media try to reassure investors that the rig production is going up, but forget to mention that the production per well is going down. This is because producers are now drilling more than one hole per rig. Producing oil has become a little cheaper but that is not enough to compensate for the low oil prices. With West Texas Intermediate selling at $46.50 producers are still losing dollars on every barrel produced.

The main oil price factor in the markets used to be the state of the US economy. Now it is the economic condition of China and expectations of demand growth in emerging markets. The oil price seems to be linked to China’s Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI), which declined in August to 47,3, the lowest level in last six years. Also increased uncertainty of developing Asian countries affected the price, the latest stage in a slowdown that looks set to continue as demand from western economies for manufactured goods continues to slump.

At the same time, due to US fracking mania, supply is still going up. Then there is Iran; with a looming global crude oil supply glut the agreement to ease sanctions that will let the Islamic State back into the global market next year while te outlook for car owners is good, for business it is bleak. Added supply could be almost twice as big as the production cuts by US shale frackers who are shutting up shop.

Anyone 'with ears to hear and eyes to see' could have predicted the final outcome of the CIA backed plan to oust Syria's President Bashir Al Assad would not be a good one for either Obama or Washington. US military interventions usually end up achieving the opposite of what the planned outcome was. A recent example is Libya, where the US, backed by French and UK Air Force personnel launched a bombing campaign in Libya, with the stated aim of overthrowing the tyrant Gadaffi and installing a western style, democratic government.

Unfortunately the clever boys and girls in Washington with their political science PhDees had read lots of books on geopolitical theory, but understood nothing about Libya and its people. Thus, what was the most prosperous and civilized nation state on the African continent in 2011, since the fall of Gadaffi has descended into a lawless, failed state. Libya now has no effective government but instead a three way civil war.

Last week, as Russian Air Force jets were pounding Syrian extremist targets, we reported Iran was rumoured to be preparing a ground invasion to drive ISIS, Al Qaeda and what the increasingly clownish Barack Obama called 'moderate Syrian rebels', The Daily Stirrer tried to cut through all of the Western and Russian media propaganda on the way to describing what Moscow’s involvement in Syria actually means in geopolitical terms.

Putin's decision to step up direct support for the Assad government, which the Russians have always said they will not allow to be overthrown, was a masterful stratagem by Moscow and Tehran to tip the advantage in the Middle East geo-political chess game away from Riyadh and Washington.

Shoring up Assad in Syria strengthens Hezbollah and presents Tehran with an opportunity to assert itself in the name of combatting terror. The West has maintained since 1979 that Iran is the world’s main sponsor of terror, and the Pentagon has repeatedly accused the Iranians of orchestrating attacks on US soldiers in Iraq after cooperation between Washington and Tehran broke down in the wake of Bush’s “axis of evil” comment.

Indeed, Iran was accused of masterminding a plot to kill the Saudi ambassador at a Washington DC restaurant in 2011.

It is now the USA, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar who stand accused of sponsoring Sunni extremists against the secular regimes in Iraq and Syria and Iran's Revolutionary Guard, that is being cast as the White Hat brigade, while the USA and its allies are increasingly exposed as hegemonists intent on world domination.

The USA, along with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, funded, train, and armed fundamentalist Sunni Muslims, intending overthrow the Assad regime. Unfortunately most of those Sunni partisans turned out to be crazy fanatics who hate non Muslims as much as they hate the Shia for being the wrong sort of Muslims. Armed with US weapons, funded by Saudi and Qatari money and convinced Allah was on their side after early successes, they declared a Medieval caliphate. This put putt the CIA, The Pentagon and the Obama administration in the ridiculous position of having to reclassify Al-Qaeda groups as "moderate" opponents of Assad. OK they may have crucified Christians, taken Yazidi Muslim women as sex slaves and beheaded western journalists and aid workers but they went about it all in a moderate and reasonable way.

The situation spun out of control and to hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths resulted from ISIS puges of 'the impure' before Washington finally decided to try and find a way to contain the monster the CIA had created in ISIS

Iran's intervention in support of Assad would be a non starter without Moscow’s stamp of superpower approval. While The Kremlin has a well equipped front line air base in Syria, Obama dare not attack any force supporting Assad, but if Russia withdrew the USA would go back to nibbling at the edges of the ISIS invasion while doing all in their power short of actually bombing Damascus, to bring down the Syrian government.

It should have been easy for the US State Department, the UK Foreign Office and France Diplomatie to see this coming yet apparently none did. Or maybe the politicians listened to their corporate paymasters who want global war because its good for business rather than the diplomats. In June 2015, the commander of Iran’s Quds Force, Qasem Soleimaini, visited a town north of Latakia on the front lines of Syria’s protracted civil war. Following that visit, he promised that Tehran and Damascus were set to unveil a new strategy that would 'surprise the world.'

In the event it should have surprised nobody but caught the Obama administration on the wrong foot yet again.
