Russian Aircraft Threaten Estonia, Drones Attack Poland. It's All Bollocks Intended To Drag NATO Into The War

The warmongering efforts of Starmer, Macron and other European NATO leaders and the neo - Nazi regime in Kiev, as once again they try to fabricate a reason for NATO (i.e. American,) troops to get involved on the ground in Ukraine, are as always laughable. This report from the New York Times is typical of the misinformation being pumped out by governments and mainstream media.

Russian Fighter Jets Enter Airspace of Estonia, a NATO Member (archived) - NY Times, Sep 19 2025
Estonia’s foreign minister described the flights, which lasted for an unusually long 12 minutes, as an “unprecedentedly brazen” intrusion.

Three Russian fighter jets violated Estonia’s airspace on Friday for an unusually long period, some 12 minutes, in what Estonia’s foreign minister called an “unprecedentedly brazen” intrusion over the NATO country.
NATO responded to intercept the Russian jets, Allison Hart, the military alliance’s spokeswoman, said in a statement on X. “This is yet another example of reckless Russian behavior and NATO’s ability to respond,” she said.

Tensions were already high after at least 21 Russian drones flew in Polish airspace 10 days ago, prompting NATO to scramble fighter jets to shoot down some of them. That incursion was regarded by Polish officials, who provided an updated count of the drones, as a deliberate effort to test the alliance’s readiness and a dangerous escalation of the war in Ukraine.

The Russian Gebera decoy drones that flew over Poland have a range of some 600 kilometer (370 mi). If they had been launched from behind Russian lines they could not have reached Poland. The drones, which do not carry any weapons, were most likely abandoned in Ukraine, patched up and reprogrammed by Ukrainian services, and sent towards Poland. This was completely in line with the ways Ukraine has tried to drag NATO into its war even as allies try to persuade the Ukies to seek peace and end the slaughter.

The 'unprecedentedly brazen intrusion' (according to warmongers in mainstream media) into the airspace of Estonia, if it has happened at all, did not take place over Estonia's mainland but near Vaindloo, (red circle on the map,) an uninhabited rock in the Gulf of Finland in the Baltic Sea, some 26 kilometer (16 mi) north of the Estonian coast.

The Gulf of Finland is a long branch of the Baltic Sea with Finland to the north and Estonia to the south. At its eastern end is Russia and the city and port of St. Petersburg. Since the breakup of the Soviet Union the Gulf has been designated as neutral water, with none of the nations on its shores claiming territorial rights.

The NY Times piece does, of course, NOT mention that. It is worded to make the reader believe that Estonia was somehow endangered.

The Russian military says that its jets did not violate Estonian airspace: According to Russia’s deputy ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, the Russian jets conducted a planned flight and “did not stray from the agreed route, nor did they cross into Estonian airspace” as they flew over “the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea, over three kilometers from the island of Vaindloo.”

Estonia could have established these facts on its own but doing so was not on Tallinn’s agenda, the Russian diplomat said. “Its goal is different: to stir up hysteria and accuse Russia of provocations despite any facts and common sense,” he added.

Ukraine confirms loss of first F-16

One of the F-16 fighter jets sent from Nato allies to Ukraine has been destroyed, a Ukrainian military source has told the BBC.

The aircraft went down amid a barrage of Russian missiles on Monday, killing pilot Oleksiy Mes, Ukraine's military said. It marks the first loss of its kind since the planes were delivered earlier this month.

The cause of the crash was not a direct result of an enemy missile strike, the Ukrainian military claims.

It said the pilot destroyed three cruise missiles and one drone in Russia's largest aerial attack to date.

Oleksiy saved Ukrainians from deadly Russian missiles," the Ukrainian Air Force wrote in a statement on social media.

"Unfortunately, at the cost of his own life."

The statement did not specify the type plane involved, but a military source told the BBC the pilot was flying an F-16.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky officially confirmed on Tuesday the US-made F-16's were being deployed to shoot down Russian drones and missiles.

This week, he asked allies to allow Ukraine to use long range missiles to hit targets further into Russia.

Around 65 F-16s have been pledged by Nato countries since US President Joe Biden first authorised willing European allies to send them to Ukraine in August 2023. .... Read all >>>

Update (5:15pm ET) via Zero Hedge: It appears that the US-made F-16 fighter jet, which was handed over to Ukraine earlier this year, was downed by a Ukrainian Patriot air defense system in a friendly fire incident, Ukrainian lawmaker Maryana Bezuglaya said cited by TASS. "According to my information, the F-16 of the Ukrainian pilot Alexey ‘Moonfish’ Mes was shot down by the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system due to a lack of coordination between the [military] units," she wrote on Telegram. The lawmaker criticized the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for falsely describing the incident as "a crash."

Is USA Trying To Draw Hezbollah Into Palestine-Israeli Conflict

On October 7, paramilitary forces of the Hamas terrorist organisation which is funded by Saudi Arabia, Qatart and the UAE, launched a cowardly assault on Israel that resulted in the deaths and captures of numerous Israeli civilians and military personnel and sparked an Israeli military response that targeted the entire Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip.

Lebanon based paramilitary group Hezbollah, funded mainly by Iran and Syria, immediately threatened repercussions against Israel if Tel Aviv moves forward with its planned ground campaign in the Gaza Strip, which Israel claims is necessary to destoy Hamas as a fighting force. Tensions on the Israeli-Lebanese border high with exchanges of artillery fire and missile strikes in both directions.

Israeli forces continue to bombard the Gaza enclave with aircraft and artillery, but if Israeli ground forces were brought into Gaza, the Hezbollah movement, a well organised irregular army with tens of thousands of well trained fighting men, will take up arms and invade Israel from the north.

Rustem Klupov, a Russian military intelligence veteran, contends that Iran will have a significant influence on whether or not Hezbollah joins the fight.

Although Hezbollah is unlikely to be capable of seizing control of a significant chunk of Israeli territory, Klupov claims that it is more than capable of annoying Israel’s security forces and that its rockets and missiles are capable of striking targets almost anywhere in Israel.

Klupov suggested that Hezbollah may be reluctant to “open a second front” in the northern parts of Israel because doing so would invite retaliation from both Israel and the United States, which “badly needs a short victorious war” and also has a sizable military presence in the area.

He also implied that a third party, like the US, would arrange a provocation that would involve Hezbollah in a fight. This is very dangerous as the USA would have to attack Iran to cut of Hezbollah's supply lines and as well as being a formidable military power in its own right, Iran's partners in a mutual assistance pact are China and Russia.

The Israeli conflict has dragged us a lot nearer to World War Three in a few weeks than Ukraine's war with Russia managed to in almost two years of conflict.

Russia Halts Cooperation With US In Syria, Will "Intercept Any Aircraft" In Russian Areas Of Operation

Russia's deputy foreign minister launched a blistering attack on the USA following the downing of a Syrian Su-22 jet that was carrying out operations against Islamic extremist forces close to where America's illegal military presence in Syria is based. In a press statement Sergei Ryabkovas described the attack on the Syrian plane, which ws operating in Syrian airspace, as an "act of aggression" and proved the USA's "support for terrorists". Russia announced that from June 19 all all cooperation with the US under the framework on the "memorandum of incident prevention in Syrian skies", will cease. This suggests there will probablyy be even greater deadly escalations of tensions between Russia and the US-led coalition in Syria.

Moscow also warned that world - beating Russian S400 missile defense systems already deployed in Syria will intercept any aircraft in the area of operations of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria:

"In areas where Russian aviation is conducting combat missions in the Syrian skies, any flying objects, including jets and unmanned aerial vehicles of the international coalition discovered west of the Euphrates River will be followed by Russian air and ground defenses as air targets," the Russian Defense Ministry is quoted by Sputnik as having stated.

In this latest breach of international law, on June 18, the Syrian army reported that combatants of the US-led coalition had brought down its aircraft in southern Raqqa countryside when it was fulfilling a mission against the Islamic extremist rebels of Daesh. Later, the coalition confirmed the attack saying that it shot down the Syrian government forces' Su-22 aircraft as it had allegedly been bombing in an area where US-backed rebel forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), were stationed, south of Tabqa in the Raqqa province. The US-led coalition called its attack on the Syrian army's jet "collective self-defense," adding that it contacted the Russian military to de-escalate the situation after the incident. This admission proves the US is siding with anti - government rebels in Syria, which no matter how appalling anyone thinks the Assad regime is, still violated the United Nations charter.

Contrary to earlier claims by the US that, it "contacted its Russian counterparts by telephone via an established de-confliction line to de-escalate the situation and stop the firing", Russia claims the US-led coalition command didn't use the deconfliction channel with Russia to avoid an incident during an operation in Raqqa. Russia and Syria have previously accused the USA of trying to unilaterally impose non aggression zones. The fact remains however that no matter how much Washington and NATO hate it, Russia and Iran have forces operating legally in Syria, having been invited by the legitimate government, while US and NATO forces in the country have no such legitimacy.

"Russian Aerospace Forces' jets were conducting operations in Syrian airspace that time. However, the command of the coalition forces didn't use the existing channel between the air command of the Qatari airbase al Udeid and the [Russian] Hmeymim airbase to avoid incidents over Syria,"The Russian ministry said at it demanded a thorough investigation by the US command with the provision of its results and measures taken.

"We consider such actions of the US command as an intentional violation of its obligations in the framework of the memo on avoiding incidents and the safety of aviation flights during operations in Syria signed on October 20, 2015."

A bilateral memorandum of understanding was signed between the United States and Russia signed in October 2015 to ensure the safety of flights during combat missions over Syria. It is well know, though not officially admitted, that the US effort in Syria has prioritized removal of the Assad regime over defeating Islamic extremism. Barack Obama said as much several times in speeches and discussions of the middle east war. As Syria is a long term ally of Russia, China and Iran, American meddling in its domestic politics, which has been going on since 2011, can only be seen as provocation and warmongering.

Russia Intercepts US Aircraft Over Baltic During NATO Military Exercises

Russia conducted a safe and routine intercept of a US aircraft over the Baltic Sea on Friday, US Department of Defense spokesperson Capt. Jeff Davis revealed on Friday.

"There was a routine and safe intercept that occurred during that [BALTOPS exercise]. This was not one we believe falls into the category of unsafe," Davis said.

On June 6 Russia's Defense Ministry reported the Air Force scrambled a Su-27 fighter over the Baltics to to intercept and escort a US B-52 strategic bomber that approached its borders.

On June 1, NATO naval exercises, dubbed Baltic Operations (BALTOPS), the largest evr held by the western powers in the region, kicked off in the Polish northern port city of Szczecin. Twelve NATO states, including Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as two non-alliance countries namely Finland and Sweden, participate in the drills.

BALTOPS will last up to June 16 and will be concluded in the German port city of Kiel.

Non-Firing Guns & Killer Ejection Seats – UK Takes Delivery Of US Advanced Fighter Jet

After almost $2 trillion of taxpayers money has been flushed down the toilet already America's latest all singing, all dancing (but unfortunately non - flying superplane, the F-35, Britain's committment to buy these junk heaps (I almost typed 'flying junk heaps' but that would be a misrepresentation,) the project may turn out to be an even bigger waste of money for Britain than 40 years of EU membership.

The first F-35 Lightning to land in the UK triggered a storm of controversy over why we were taking delivery of a hugely expensive aircraft that has shown in trials it is not fit for purpose, but also having been in development for over twenty years already looks very dated against the latest Russian and Chinese warplanes. Questions surrounding the safety and ability of an aircraft that has already cost US and British taxpayers over $1.5 trillion with recent estimates indicating that the total program cost will creep up to $2 trillion due to an embarrassing array of mishaps since the effort began to construct the jet in 2001 are no nearer to being resolved even now.

The fighter jet has been slammed by military aircraft experts in recent years as the cost continues to rise. The F-35 comes in at a cost of $150 million (£ 100 million) per aircraft, but has been saddled with continuous delays, system malfunctions, and safety issues.

This week it was reported that the aircraft’s ejection seats would snap the neck of any pilot weighing under 135 pounds while those between the weight of 135-160 pounds are considered to be highly susceptible to immediate death on ejecting.

Combat testing for the fighter jet has also been delayed for an additional year due to a persistent software glitch that causes the plane to suddenly shutdown in flight. The fleet was grounded recently when an overheating problem raised fears fears that its engine could catch fire. The fighter jets guns have also proven defective and completely unable to fire forcing a reworking of the weapons system which will not be complete until 2019.

Most concerning is that even if defense contractor Lockheed Martin and the partners of the fighter jet program are able to work past the bevy of growing system defects, glitches, and safety hazards the F-35 has consistently underperformed in flight simulations losing repeatedly to the 40 year old F-16 fighter jet in combat exercises. The F-16 costs roughly 1/10 as much as the F-35 to produce per unit. Royal Air Force flyers are using similarly venerable Jaguar fighters and Harrier Vertical Take Off Aircraft.

So the American's can seek answers from their own government, we in Britain have to ask our Ministry Of Defence Chiefs WTF they thought they were doing ordering a fighter ~~plank~~ plane that does nor shoot and does not fly very often.

Call The Hackers: US Superplane Grounded By Software Bug

Over the past few months we have all been given the opportunity to be impress by the abilities of the highly advanced Russian warplane, the Sukhoi Su35. Even The Pentagon's top military aviation officials have been impressed, and we hear what the Chinese have up their sleeves is even more advanced. It was reported late last year during a particularly intense moment in US / Russian relations in the middle east that Pentagon officials had warned Obama not to risk triggering any direct conflict with Russia because the Russians could "obliterate US military capablities."

How did this happen?

Well the Russians focused on what is achievable while American technologists got drawn into a lot of Hollywood fantasy stuff. And the result was:

The troubled creation of the Lockheed Martin F-35 is plagued by yet another technical glitch.

The Lockheed Martin F-35 is not only an extremely expensive aircraft, but is also probably the most software-driven plane ever constructed. And ironically, it is a new software glitch that now threatens the US Air Force’s plans to finally declare F-35 operationally deployable in the near future.

According to IHS Jane’s, the problem lies with the current version of software that runs the warplane’s radar, making it unstable and thus affecting the aircraft’s performance against other airborne targets.

"What would happen is they'd get a signal that says either a radar degrade or a radar fail —something that would force us to restart the radar," Harrigian explained.

The problem was apparently first discovered during tests in late 2015.

"Lockheed Martin discovered the root cause, and now they're in the process of making sure they take that solution and run it through the [software testing] lab," Harrigian said, adding that USAF is scheduled to receive the new software by the end of March.

The F-35 fighter jet is probably the most expensive military aircraft ever developed, with an estimated final cost of $400 billion which is twice the original estimate.
Problems with the F-35 have included flaws in its fuel and hydraulic systems, poor cockpit visibility, faulty radar and ejection seats that don't work. The entire fleet was grounded in 2014 after an engine caught fire as a test pilot prepared to take off.

Inferno at 63-story luxury hotel in Dubai, So Why Did It Not Collapse Like The Twin Towers?

'Address Downtown' a 5-star hotel in Dubai (is there any other kind of hotel in Dubai?) was engulfed in flames on New Year’s Eve as the city authorities firework display lit up the sky. It was not initially clear what caused the fire, which damaged about 20 stories of the building. Burning debris fell from the structure as firefighters struggled to contain the blaze.

City authorities reported 16 people were injured. Firefighters eventually brought the fire under control after the 302-meter tower had been evacuated without loss of life. Dubai Media office posted this tweet:

Naturally this incident has prompted a lot of people to ask why the tower did not collapse like The World Trade Center towers on New York in 2001. There are many possible reasons for this and we will probably never know the complete answer.

Some have pointed out (quite correctly) that 'external' fire has unlimited supply of oxygen whereas 'internal' uncontrolled fire has to struggle for oxygen and dies down when oxygen supply depletes as was the case with fires in WTC 1 and 2. Most officially approved explanations for the Twin Towers (and Tower 7 collapse) however fail to note that the fireball visible outside the South Tower, common sense would suggest, indicated the burning of almost all of the jet fuel outside the tower. Thus official explanations collapse more rapidly than did The Twin Towers themselves.

Other versions of the official narrative tell us "it's what happens when an object as big as a passenger aircraft crashes into a tower building. Oh Yeah? In that case why is the Empire State Building still standing? It should have collapsed when a Boeing B25 Bomber crashed into it in 1945 as you may read on Wikipedia by following the link, or at numerous sources by searching B25 Empire State Building.

And so this latest tall building accident opens old wounds and raises new questions. Mainstream media may be burying the story already but it will run and run in New Media website comment threads.

Russia Sends Growler Missile System To Syria and China Unveils Hypersonic Strike Aircraft

In my wanderings around the web today I came across a post questioning why the US military for all its technical superiority did not simply wipe our ISIS and the Russian and Iranian forces in Syria, disposing of Assad in the process.

Most however reached the right conclusion for the wrong reasons. The USA does not want to defeat ISIS (correct) The USA could obliterate Russian and Chinese forces supporting Assad. (WRONG!)

As tensions increased in the region after warplanes of NATO member Turkey shot down a Russian SU24 bomber and then anti - Assad rebels supported by the USA destroyed a rescue helicopter sent to find the pilots (one of whom had been machine gunned by rebels while parachuting to safety) The Kremlin ordered its S400 (Growler) Surface to Air missile system, far more advanced that anything the US Army has, to be deployed in areas where US and Russian operations are likely to overlap.

Warnings from US Generals that Russia would obliterate America's forces in any large scale conflict may have been overstated but they were perhaps intended to deflate overconfidence with is typical of the Washington wusses for whom it is easy to be brave as they sit in offices thousands of miles from the combat zones.

Any shooting war would not be as one sided as many American gun nuts think. And that was before China, an ally of Moscow that has promised military support should conflict break out, revealed THIS:

The Wu-14 Hypersonic Jet launched from an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile System travels at Mach 10 on the Edge of Space carrying Nuclear Warheads

A [Chinsese] advanced aircraft, known as the Wu-14 travels between Mach 5 and Mach 10 which is somewhere in the vicinity of 3500 and 7400 Mph. Sources say the hypersonic vehicle can travel up to 9,000 Mph! This means circling the Earth in 2.5 hours. At this speed, the vehicle can out maneuver any missile system currently active.

If the vehicle was launched from a sub or aircraft carrier in one of the oceans, then a strike to nearly any country would happen in just a couple of minutes.

The WU-14 “threatens to neutralize US strategic missile defenses with the unique capability of flying at ultra-high speeds and maneuvering to avoid detection and tracking by radar and missile defense interceptors.”
