As Russia, China and Iran line up behind Assad, has the USA (and its proxies) lost the middle east war?

That the United States is now fully engaged in the war in Syria, intending to fulfill its long held ambition to overthrow the Assad regime while making its involvement as part of the struggle against ISIS. Getting rid of Assad is only one small part of the US plan for the middle east and eastern Europe. The real reason behind Washington's bombing campaign is Syria is the same as its reasons for bombing Iraq and Libya into oblivion. The whole strategy is about who controls the oil and gas resources and the pipeline routes to Europe.
Dominance of the middle east, the Caspian region and the Balkans is critical to Washington's strategy to weaken and undermine Russia and steer Europe's oil and gas purchases towards US oil and gas companies working in the middle east and Arabia. Keeping US energy companies and investors happy and ensuring the profits of US bankers and commodity traders is worth the 'collateral damage' of a few hundred thousand innocent lives of.

A bonus is the strategy of perpetual war around the borders of Russia, China and Iran and the never ending demand for military hardware that creates in the armaments and military support industry preserves thousands of US jobs, many of them in areas hard hit by the deindustialization of the past twenty five years.

But the indications from Washington is that the Obama administration, surely suffering from collective megalomania, is determined to provoke a military confrontation with Russia, which the Harvard political science grads. are sure would bring down Putin and Medvedev and allow the west to install a bunch of right wing corporate puppets in Moscow as they did in Kiev in 2013. To expand its destabilization into Russia itself in order to gain control of that vast nation's natural resources is the equivalent of suicide by political incompetence. We reported only yesterday that now Putin has committed to providing plane-in-the-sky, boots-on-the-ground support to Assad, not only have the Russians achieved more in Syria in a month than US support has in Iraq in three years, but Iran has announced a co-operation deal with the Russians in Syrian while Chinese 'military assets' have also begun to arrive at the newly extended Russian base in Assad controlled territory.

Russia was never an aggressive nation, it's vast land area is for the main part sparsely populated. Those who have been duped by Washington and European propaganda demonizing Russia will cite the Soviet Union's buffer states to prove me wrong, but that is a mistake. As Napoleon and Hitler both found to their cost, while Russia has few territorial ambitions outside its current borders, Russian leaders do have never taken a liberal view of invaders. In fact the entire Russian nation is paranoid about the enemies that surround Mother Russia and every man and woman will stand their ground to defeat foreign incursions. It is in their blood.

With the numerous 'experts' on Russian affairs the US State Department, the UK Foreign Office and the various international affairs departments European Union and NATO powers claim to have among their assets, does the so-called leader of the free world persist in his suicidal provocation of Russia and China (because make no mistake, if either of those is attacked, both will respond, probably supported by Iran and Pakistan. Should the United States succeed in picking a fight with this powerful coalition and with the strongest leader in the world, at the head of a country that has never been conquered shows the arrogance of Washington and the ignorance of history that is a common feature for the Harvard boys and girls.

The ongoing civil war in the Ukraine was orchestrated by the United States, as we know from a certain unfortunate phone call made by White House apparachik Victoria Nuland. Replacing the democratically elected, pro - Russian government in Kiev which a bunch of neo-Nazi thugs who might have been hand picked by George Soros was intended to benefit the US military industrial machine and US oil and gas barons by putting the pipeline routes from Russia and The Caspian region oil and Gas fields under the control of a Washington friendly government.

Gas poor European Union, whose member states stood to lose most by supporting the American move, sycophantically threw in its lot with the Washington and enthusiastically joined it in imposing economic sanctions against Russia, which caused billions of dollars of damage to the Russian economy but did even more harm to Germany, France and other E U nations as Russia banned food imports from E U members. The sanctions were in effect a declaration of war but no worries, Russia and China had already declared a Currency War on the USA by gathering support from the developing world for a move to replace the US$ as global reserve currency.

The double speak supporting western sanctions is as hypocritical as the intention of the Nobel Prize committee to award a second Peace Prize to the drone-loving warmongering rent-boy President, Barack Obama who grins idiotically, as if he has just spontaneously ejaculated in his pants every time he signs another executive order authorising drone strikes that will kill more innocent, non combatant, third world peasants and their families. The official reason given to justify the war criminal's peace prize is recognizes his response to Russia’s military aggression in Ukraine.

United States belligerence in world affairs long ago passed the point of idiotocray The insane ex-prostitute (allegedly) who now sells his office as casually as casually as he one sold his orifice (again allegedly) and holds 'the Gold Codes', whose finger will press the button to launch the end of civilization as we know it, needs to be reminded that he is not President Of The Entire Universe And Everything Else Besides, 'dem whitey' in Europe and Russia do not have to do as he says because he was elected, and that the citizens of the world, not the American neocon oligarchs whose interests he has served more diligently that his predecessors Bush, Clinton, Bush and Reagan, for the past six years will have the final say. US Blockade of Syria A War Crime?

Recently The United States tried to bully both Greece and Bulgaria to close their airspace to Russian flights carrying humanitarian aid to Syrias beleagured Christian and Shi'ite Muslim communities. The move is a logical (in a psychopathic kind of logic) progression of the Obama administration's criminal attempt to overthrow President Assad and impose a US friendly puppet government in Damascus. The military action now being carried out by US and NATO personnel (chiefly the FUKUS axis, France, the United Kingdom and the United States) is ostensibly aimed at defeating ISIS in Iraq and Syria, but whistleblowers have revealed that the US government has been supporting ISIS by providing military hardware and training.

NATO, The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) has been waging war on the Assad regime in Syria and other nations that stood in the way of US ambitions to isolate Russia and gain control of the world's oil and gas reserves since 2011 when it succeeded in destroying Libya and thus triggered the waves of undocumented migrants now putting themselves in the hands of ruthless criminals in an effort to get to Europe (see below).

In trying to prevent humanitarian aid reaching Syria (OK, I know some will say Russia would use the shipments to get military equipment to Assad's troops, I answer OK, but if the US government is arming ISIS as we know beyond reasonable doubt they are, is it not hypocritical to try to deny Assad loyalists the ability to defend themselves egainst the well documented brutality of the ISIS savages? Contemptuous as ever of violations of the UN Charter, international law and of all morality, Barack Hussein Obama, the warmonger - in chief, the world's most evil human being, seems to think the colour of his skin gives him the right to claim the moral high ground even as he orders the slaughter of more non combatant third world peasants and their wives and children.

The resultant suffering in the countries under attack, where people are being forced to flee and become refugees (not the well fed, well dressed economic migrants you see in European coverage, things are very different in the refugee camps in Jordan, Turkey, Lebanon and Kurdistan, but US and European media are writing favourable reports on the criminal coalition that is attacking them. The hypocrisiy in Washington, London, Paris, Berlin and Brussels defies belief.

Heartbreaking images bombard us daily but the stories behind these images are fake. The drowned three year old's death was tragic but his father who put him on the overloaded, unseaworthy boat that sank, drowning many of it passengers was not a desperate refugee fleeing violence and persecution but a greedy, selfish people trafficker who had been living in an apartment in Turkey where the only threat came from rival criminals wanting to muscle in on the lucrative immigration racket. The story about the heartborken Muslim boy who had been refused permission to take his oh-so-cute Husky puppy to Europe not only failed to mention that Huskies are not a popular breed in the desert, but also that Islam regards dogs as unclean animals and very few Muslims would own a dog or be willing to travel with one as a fellow passenger

But the doctored images and spun stories are not published by western media to promote a push for peace in the Syria and Iraq. Instead, as the recent bletherings of the British, French, German and American leaders demonstrate, they are propaganda aimed at manipulating the emotionally crippled, guilt addicted citizens of developed nations to justify the deployment of NATO troops and aircraft in Syria, which will only add to the misery, death and the flow of refugees.

Gadaffi To Unleash A Wave Of Migrants On Europe

Libya is unleashing a wave of migrants against Europe as retaliation for the coalition's military strikes against the country.

Last week The Daily Stirrer reported the tiny Italian island of Lampedusa is being overrun with refugees fleeing the troubles in North Africa.

The opening of immigration floodgates came as Italy announced that it would grant travel permits to more than 20,000 Tunisian refugees who have reached its southernmost islands in recent weeks.

The Italian government said the temporary permits would grant the refugees freedom of movement within the visa-free Schengen area, but in reality most want to head to France.

Paris reacted angrily to the move, with Claude Gueant, the interior minister, saying the country would not tolerate "a wave of immigration" and warning that migrants without proper identity documents and sufficient funds would be turned back at the border.

The Schengen zone excludes Britain and Ireland, but migrants could attempt to enter the UK illegally from the Continent.

The Tunisians are among nearly 26,000 migrants who have managed to reach the tiny island of Lampedusa, Italy's southernmost community, since January, when president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali was toppled by a popular revolt.

I always said it was a mistake to get involved. Mainstream media are now starting to report what anyone with half a brain knew in February, the Egyptian uprising was not a spontaneous uprising of disaffedted middle class pro0fessionals but a campaign orchestrated by the Islamic extremist Muslim Brotherhood and aimed at deposing the nasty but pro western Mubarak regime and replacing it with something even nastier and not at all friendly to the west.

The Libyan uprising was orchestrated by Al Qaeda sympathisers and allegedly led by Al Qaeda activists. This is why everybody has gone very quiet about the idea of arming the rebels.

We should have kept our noses out, let Gadaffi crush the rebellion (which he is going to do anyway) and avoided pissing him off. There are more that enough middle eastern lunatics well pissed off with the west already.

Chinese 'Military Assets' En Route To Syria?

Earlier today Boggart Abroad reported that Vladimir Putin’s decision to go Russia's ally Syria with aircraft and ground troops in the fight against ISIS in Syria, in spite of US outrage at the move signals the beginning of the end of Washington’s regime change campaign to remove the Assad regime.

The Kremlin's announcement came alongside reports that Russia and Iran are united in their determination that Assad will not be replaced by a US puppet government in Damascus. Any Sunni extremists and CIA-trained “freedom fighters” intent on seizing control of Syria now have to face Russia and Iran as well as the Syrian army whose capabilities were completely underestimated by Washington.

The only thing that could make the bad situation the Obama administration has created in the middle east any worse would be for China to step up to the mark in solidarity with their allies Russia and Iran. Beijing has ben working hard this year to project the image of its growing power and influence in the world. That effort has included land reclamation in the South China Sea, a “rescue” operation in the Yemeni port of Aden, and a surprise appearance by the Chinese Navy off the coast of Alaska.

The recent arrival of the Russian Marines and Air Force to the Syrian port-city of Tartous has generated a significant amount of interest around the world, as the possibility of Russia’s direct military intervention becomes the focal point of the war on ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham).

Should the Russians begin military operations in Syria, what role with the U.S. led “Anti-ISIS Coalition” play in combating the terrorist group? Will they coordinate with one another? Will they avoid one another?

Russia seems poised to take a similar approach to the U.S. led Coalition; however, they are not seeking the assistance of the neighboring Arab countries to combat the terrorist group.

Instead, the Russians appear to have a contingency that involves another world power that was absent from the U.S. led Anti-ISIS Coalition: China.

On Tuesday morning, a Chinese naval vessel reportedly traveled through Egypt’s Suez Canal to enter the Mediterranean Sea; its destination was not confirmed.

However, according to a senior officer in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) that is stationed inside the Syrian coastal city of Latakia, Chinese military personnel and aerial assets are scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks (6 weeks) to the port-city of Tartous – he could not provide anymore detail.

This development comes two years after China warned that regional war in Syria and Iraq could have negative implications for the global economy and 18 months after Beijing and Moscow, used their United Nations security council vetoes to block a resolution that would have permitted a US led coalition (the FUKUS axis again) to carry out a 'humanitarian bombing campaign in Syria.

Germany's ruling political coalition has been severely weakened by the announcement from Christian Socialist Union (CSU) leader Horst Seehofer, who is first minister of the bravarian federal state, that he supports Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban whose government has closed Hungary's borders with non EU nations.

The CSU has been Angela Merkel’s main coalition partner for some time, and Seehofer’s split with her on such a contentious issue is a clear indicator of a potential crack in the German government's solidarity on the issue.

In an interview with the Ingolstadt Donaukurier, the CSU chief lambasted Merkel, saying “I would not have taken the decision to let the refugees from Hungary to enter Germany. That was a mistake that must not be repeated.”

MEISSEN, Germany — In a gesture of German goodwill, the administration in this medieval city leased a newly renovated apartment building here to humanely — even comfortably — house dozens of desperate asylum-seekers. The newcomers from Syria and other war-
ravaged nations would enjoy freshly redone floors, cute balconies and shiny, modern appliances in a cheerful building near a timber-framed pub. Then Meissen’s goodwill went up in smoke.

On a cool night six weeks ago, suspected right-wing arsonists struck the building, scorching its interior and rendering it uninhabitable days before the asylum-seekers were to move in. The attack added Meissen, a gothic castle town of 30,000 on the Elbe River, to a string of German cities caught up in an escalating rash of violence against refugees.

The acts include an ugly spate of arson targeting refugee centers as well as physical attacks on refugees themselves, marking the return of what critics say is an unnerving brand of xenophobia to Western Europe’s most populous nation.

It is typical of the American media of course to support the destruction of Europe's history for the sake of sucking up to Africans, Muslims, and Romanians. Liberals in the USA have with their great experiment in multiculturalism, turned their society into a ghettoized third world cesspit, now the fuckwitted guilt addics want to drag the rest of the world down with them.

While the violence against migrants being seen all around Europe now should be deplored, those truly responsible are the political elite whose refusal to act to curb the epidemics of violence, crime and rape that inevitably accompany the arrival of an influx of uneducated rabble from parts of the world where women are chattels and vulnerable people are easy targets to places where women are free to walk around town unaccompanied and old peoples' rights to leave their homes are usually respected.

Why should we make allowances for black scum who can't control their urges when they see a woman who doesn't have a bag over her head. Go German citizens, show the elite they have shat on you once too often. Or better still you could try torching puiblic buildings and politicians offices and the premises of mainstream news organisations.

Playing Poker With Obama: Putin’s Calculated Risk In Syria

I've said before that the reason Vladimir Putin outmanoeuvres the US State Department in every diplomatic skirmish is that while American's play poker, which is all about bluff, Putin plays chess which is all about strategy.

Russian President Vladimir Putin had decided to risk the possibility of military clashes with the United States and its European Allies, Saudi Arabia, other major Muslim nations and Israel by intervening in Syria. But while the move is being portrayed by western mainstreasm media as reckless, futile and dangerous, knowing that his ally China will support him in any conflict, Putin has taken a rational calculated decision and it is paying off. Not only has he has once again called the bluff of the limp wristed sissy Obama who talks a good war but shits himself when challenged, he has again wrong footed the inept Obama administration policy makers and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by achieving more in three weeks against ISIS that the US led allied had managed in a year.

First, Putin moved decisively to secure Russia's foothold on Syria's Mediterranean coast. Russia as a geopolitical entity is paranoid about securing its borders and maintaining the status quo. Preserving its increasingly challenged position in the world is the primary concern of all Russian leaders. Such conservatism is the antithesis of the revolutionary communist world domination ambitions of the Khrushchev and Brezhnev eras that fantasised with perfect faith about toppling every monarchy and democracy from throughout Europe and Asia, and installing a communist regime.

President Putin has good reason to look at stopping (ISIS). Russians fear an Islamic Caliphate in Syria and Iraq would not only make its southern borders more vulnerable and radicalise the Free Chechens and other Muslim nationalist groups within Russia, they see the current US President as, if not actually Muslim, certainly anti European and sympathetic to Muslim ambitions in Europe.

The fact that Putin launched his campaign in support of Assad in early September is also significant. At that time of year Russians remember and mourn 186 children murdered by Chechen terrorists after being held hostage in a Beslan school building from September 1st to September 4th, 2004.

Putin and his number two, Medvedev have worked for years to re-establish the standing of the Christian Orthodox Church in Russia. Until the Bolshevik revolution in 1917, Russia saw itself as the defender of Christianity, especially Orthodox version, very seriously. Russia fought the brutal Crimean War from 1853 to 1856 against protestant England and Catholic France over the issue of which Christian power should take the lead in protecting Christians and their sacred sites in the Ottoman empire.

Syria was about 10% Christian 20 years ago; now its historic Syriac Christian communities, among the oldest Christian congregations in the world, are virtually extinct as Syriac Christians flee Muslim genocidists. Much as people in the secular nations of the European Union sneer, the motive of protecting Christians and other religious minorities from Islamic extremism features in Moscow’s calculations.

The Assad dynasty has been a loyal ally of both the Soviet Union and modern Russia. Loyalty is one of the most important virtues to the Russian mindset and Kremlin policymakers feel a duty of loyalty to Damascus much as the United States has felt an obligation to be loyal to Israel for many years.

Taking the broad view then, Russia has a lot to lose if Assad falls, but stands to gain much more if Obama's regime change initiative is thwarted, as other US regime change initiatives, in Libya and Ukraine, have created failed states. America's credibility as a world super power is at an all time low, Russia's appears to be on the up and up.

Germany’s ZDF public television network headlines on Tuesday September 22nd, "New U.S. Atomic Weapons to Be Stationed in Germany," and reports that the U.S. will bring into Germany 20 new nuclear bombs, each being four times the destructive power of the one that was used on Hiroshima. Hans Kristensen, the Director of the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists, says, "With the new bombs the boundaries blur between tactical and strategic nuclear weapons.”

Willy Wimmer of the Christian Democratic Union, the party led by Angela Merkel warns that these “new attack options against Russia” are “a conscious provocation of our Russian neighbors.”

German Economic News the equivalent of The Financial Times or Wall Street Journal also covers Chancellor Merkel’s decision to allow these weapons in a disapproving way: "The Bundestag decided in 2009, expressing the will of most Germans, that the US should withdraw its nuclear weapons from Germany. But German Chancellor Angela Merkel did nothing.” And now, in keeping with her increasingly autocratic style of governing, Hausfrau Merkel has unilaterally agreed that The U.S.A can increase America’s German-based nuclear deterrent against Russia.

Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova, says of the decision: “This is an infringement of Articles 1 and 2 of the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons,” which is the treaty that provides non-nuclear states the assurance that the existing nuclear powers will not try to use their nuclear status so as to take over the world.

German Economic News also commented: "The federal government had demanded the exact opposite: The Bundestag decided in March 2010 by a large majority, that the federal government should 'press for the withdrawal of US nuclear weapons from Germany.' Even the coalition agreement between the CDU and FDP, the German government in 2009 had promised the withdrawal of nuclear weapons from Büchel. But instead there will be these new bombs."

Merkel’s Conservative Allies Declare ‘Islam Not A German Tradition’

The crisis that has torn Europe apart is now threatening to tear Germany apart.

Has Hausfrau Merkel converted to Islam or is she just importing cheap labour to prop up the German economy as its ageing population becomes economically unviable.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s conservative allies, the Christian Social Union (CSU), have rebuffed her “open door” approach to the European migrant crisis, echoing the concerns of Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban who has very stridently declared his opposition to the huge numbers of Muslim migrants entering European countries illegally.

In an interview with Bild newspaper, Edmund Stoiber, the Chairman of CSU – the Bavarian federal province political party Merkel relies on for her coalition’s parliamentary majority, said he didn’t recognise Chancellor Merkel's comments when she said “We can do it” about Germany’s 'open doors' policy on the migrant crisis.

In January 2015, Mrs. Merkel said “Islam belongs to Germany” in a speech aimed at rebuking anti-immigration protesters.

“Former president Wulff said Islam belongs to Germany. That is true. I also hold this opinion,” she said, reacting to protest marches by the anti-immigration group PEGIDA in several German cities.

But the Chairman of her sister party the CSU said he disagreed. “I don’t adopt this proposition”, he told Bild. “The Muslims belong to Germany, not Islam. Islam is not a core element of German culture and also is not part of our history and tradition.

“When people talk about the fact that changed Germany, then one thing must be clear: we Germans have grown a dominant culture, which is also enshrined in Basic Laws: tolerance, press and religion, and in our relationship to Israel. This dominant culture of the Basic Law cannot be for disposal, no matter how many immigrants come to us”.

His remarks, especially those about Islam and Israel, are calculated to stoke tensions in the alliance between the two parties and are possibly an attempt by the smaller CSU to exploit the strength of their position and bring Merkel's CDU to heel on the immigration issue, as Mrs. Merkel is under fire from local authorities all over Germany but especially in Bavaria, where the politics are more conservative and Christian-dominated than that of her Christian Democratic Union (CDU).

CDU elder statesman, Kurt Biedenkopf, acknowledged that her thoughts were focused on Germany’s long term economic plan but she risks overlooking the cultural impact of mass migration by a single religious group on German society, something her CSU colleagues appear to be mindful of.

Mr. Wulff’s comments come shortly after Hungary’s PM Viktor Orban warned that Christianity could become a minority religion in Europe if the current migration wave were to continue. He was pilloried by the liberal-Left and mainstream, Western media for his comments.

What Game In Putin Playing In Syria? A Smarter One Than Obama and Kerry

UK war leader Winston Churchill said in 1939: “I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest."

In branding ISIS, rather than Assad as public enemy No. 1 for the west, Putin has it right. It is the Americans who are the mystery inside an enigma now, simply because Obama and his billionaire liberal global - government supporting cronies are acting not in but against the interests of the USA and democratic Europe.

What Vladimir Putin is doing in Syria makes far more sense than what Barack Obama and the European powers (the FUKUS axis) have done, which was always going to destablise the middle east as was intended.

Russians transport planes are flying troops and military hardware to an air base near the Syrian coastal city of Latakia to create a supply chain that can provide a steady flow of weapons and munitions to the Syrian army.

Syrian President Bashar Assad, an ally of Russia, has lost half his country to ISIS and the Nusra Front, a branch of al-Qaida, a fighting force that, as we now know, was put together by an alliance of right wing Islamic fundamentalists states backed by hardware and advice supplied by the Pentagon with the approval of the Obama administration.

Putin fears that if Assad falls, Russia’s toehold in Syria and the Mediterranean will be lost, ISIS and al-Qaida will be in Damascus, and Islamic terrorism will have achieved its greatest victory. Is he wrong? Obviously not as the US agenda since 1945 has been to isolate Russia (pretty stupid reasoning as Russia has a long border with its main military ally, China.).

And who do we Americans think will wind up in Damascus if Assad falls?
A collapse of Assad's secular, Shia Muslim regime would result in a takeover of Syria by an Islamic Fundamentalist theocracy, the massacre of thousands of Alawite Shiites and Syrian Christians, and the flight of millions more refugees into Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey and on to Europe.

Putin wants to prevent that. Don’t we? Why then are we spurning his offer to work with us?

Are our leasders still so pissed off over the way when they helped to dump the democratically elected pro-Russian regime in Kiev, Putin countered by annexing Crimea? Or is there another reason? If we look past the outrage of US Liberals when an audience member at a Donald Trump for President political rally shouted out that Obama is a closet Muslim and Trump failed to reprimand him, to the times during his 2008 campaign and before when Obama spoke (with his own lips) about the importance to hom of "my Muslim faith" and identified himself as a non American (a Kenyan), we must wonder just whose side Obama is really on.

Understandably, there is going to be friction between the great military powers (and despite having been surpassed by both China and Russia, the US government still believes it is militarily invincible) the US, Europe and Russia have a mutual interest in seeing ISIS degraded and defeated. Vladimir Putin understands this, Basshir al Assad undertands it. Barack Hussein Obama does not appear to.

If we in the west cam impress upon our leaders that their job is to protect our national interest, rather thansupporting Obama's president-of-the-entire-universe-and-everything-else-besides bong dreams with a reflexive Russophobia knee jerk that passes for thought in the think tanks, we should be able to see our way clear to collaborate in Syria.

Should The U.S. Government Default On Its Debt And What Will Happen If It Does

The level of indebtedness of U.S. federal, state, and local governments, some corporations has been a concern for Central Banks, The IMF, the World Bank and BIS (The Bank Of International; Settlements aka The Masters Of The Universe) for a significant time now and most people are bored by the topic if they are aware of it at all. Economists have been taking of debt as a problem for so long without anything drastically bad happening they have become the boys who cried wolf. Or have they?

Governments have colluded with bankers and financiers to make their debts appear manageable for so long that like gluttons at a feats, the public think the food will keep coming forever. U.S. government debt has become an abstract; it has no more meaning to Joe Average than the prospect of an asteroid hittinmg the earth in the next thousand years.

Many economists, Krugman their leader, are sure debt does not matter. We still hear ridiculous sound bites, like “We owe it to ourselves,” that trivialize the long term effects on the lives of billions of people who do not spend their lives on a university campus or in a private dealing room in their mansion, of printing money.

Actually, some people owe it to other people. There will be big transfers of wealth depending on what happens. More exactly, since Americans don’t save anymore, that dishonest phrase about how we owe it to ourselves isn’t even true in a manner of speaking; we owe most of it to the Chinese and Japanese.

The fact is that while the US government owes the $17 or 18 trillion of the national debt to the Citizens of the USA, and the British government likewise owes the £1.5 trillion of national debt to UK taxpayers (and so on around the world's debtor nations)these amounts are only the tip of the iceberg.

Another chestnut is “We’ll grow out of it.” That’s impossible unless real growth is greater than the interest on the debt, which is questionable. And at this point, government deficits are likely to balloon, not contract. Even with artificially low interest rates. GDP, the only economic measure quoted these days, is not a measure of the health of an economy but of how much money is churning around in it. So if a government let's in a million migrants, pays them all £ $ or € 300 per week in benefits to fund essentials, they have grown GDP by 300 million a week. But the economy has not grown at all, all that has happened is the government has taken 300 million in taxes and paid it out in benefits.

OK, you see the flaw in that kind of economics, but we are not finished. The million migrants take their £$€300 and spend it on food, clothes, fuel, other stuff and, say 10% is taken in Value Added Tax (VAT is 20% but not all goods are liable), that means the GDP grows by another £$€290 a week.

Then the businesses that the money is spent with must buy replacement stock to keep the shelves full, pay rents, fuel costs, wages etc. By the time the government has taken its cut again, lets say £$€250 is added to GDP which has now grown by £$€840 all without one penny or cent being added to real wealth.

As a former business finance consultant I have been saying since we started The Daily Stirrer in 2009, governments should default on not just some, but all of its debt for three very obvious reasons and a host of more occluded ones. Foremost is we need a debt reset to avoid turning future generations into serfs. Second is to punish those who have enabled the State by lending it money. Third is to make it impossible for the State to borrow so irresponsibly in the future, at least for a while. A nation such as Greece should never have been allowed to get into the state it is in, the USA should have had a ZZZminus rating years ago.

Why you might well ask, if we owe the money to ourselves? The problem is we don't really owe the money to ourselves. Governments raise money by printing bonds and selling them, with the nation's central bank apparently buying most. But if the government's revenue / expenditure account is running at a deficit, the central bank has two options, to print money thus devaluing the currency and destroying savings, pension funds and asset values and causing inflation which reduces the spending power of wages and earnings. Or we can refuse to pay 'ourselves' i.e. the central bank) the interest due on treasury bonds it holds, which means the central bank does not have the funds to pay international banks which hold its debt.

The cycle of borrowing can only go on like this for so long before the interest owed on outstanding debt becomes to great to repay, at that point citizens become serfs, working to pay the master's (government's) debt while having only a subsistence lifestyle.

The consequences are too grim to think about and the timing hard to predict. The USA has been bankrupt for two decades but has stayed afloat because it holds the de facto global reserve currency. Recently however, Russia, China and Iran have recruited many nations totally pissed off with US high handedness to their effort to dump the US$ as reserve currency and creat a new monetary unit based on a basket of currencies. When (rather than if) that happens, the USA is finished and the day of the debtor nation is over.

Perhaps governments can somehow continue to borrow amounts that ought not to be possible. But creditors will look for repayment. Either those creditors will walk away out of pocket (in the case of default), or the holders of dollar denominated investments will be left with worthless paper (in the case of hyperinflation), or most likely the taxpayers’ pockets will be looted (bank deposits confiscated, pension funds dissoves, investment trusts looted), or worst case a combination of all three. Whatever the final outcome, the story will not have a happy ending for Joe Average and his family and friends .

Last week Pam Geller a document from a German refugee center describing an epidemic of rape against women and children at these centers for migrants. According to this document women are “assigned a subordinate role” and unaccompanied females are treated as “fair game.” Many of these women, according to the document, are fleeing “forced marriage” and/or “female genital mutilation.”

It’s the same hate culture as is behind the Muslim child grooming and rape gangs in the UK.

On August 18, a coalition of four social work organizations and women’s rights groups sent a two-page letter to the leaders of the political parties in the regional parliament in Hesse, a state in west-central Germany, warning them of the worsening situation for women and children in the refugee shelters. The letter said (translated by fatsally):

“The ever-increasing influx of refugees has complicated the situation for women and girls at the receiving center in Giessen (HEAE) and its subsidiaries.

“The practice of providing accommodations in large tents, the lack of gender-separate sanitary facilities, premises that cannot be locked, the lack of safe havens for women and girls — to name just a few spatial factors — increases the vulnerability of women and children within the HEAE. This situation plays into the hands of those men who assign women a subordinate role and treat women traveling alone as ‘wild game’.

“The consequences are numerous rapes and sexual assaults. We are also receiving an increasing number of reports of forced prostitution. It must be stressed: these are not isolated cases.

“Women report that they, as well as children, have been raped or subjected to sexual assault. As a result, many women sleep in their street clothes. Women regularly report that they do not use the toilet at night because of the danger of rape and robbery on the way to the sanitary facilities. Even during daylight, passing through the camp is a frightful situation for many women.

“Many women — in addition to fleeing wars or civil wars — are also on the run for gender-related reasons, including the threat of forced marriage or genital mutilation. These women who face special risks, especially when they are on the run alone or with their children. Even if they are accompanied by male relatives or acquaintances, this does not always ensure protection against violence because it can also lead to specific dependencies and sexual exploitation.

“Most female refugees have experienced a variety of traumatizing experiences in their country of origin and while on the run. They are victims of violence, kidnappings, torture, rape and extortion — sometimes over periods of several years.

“The feeling to have arrived here — in safety — and to be able to move without fear, is a gift for many women…. We therefore ask you…to join our call for the immediate establishment of protected premises (locked apartments or houses) for women and children who are travelling alone….

“These facilities must be equipped so that men do not have access to the premises of the women, with the exception of emergency workers and security personnel. In addition bedrooms, lounges, kitchens and sanitary facilities must be interconnected so that they form a self-contained unit — and thus can only be reached via lockable and monitored access to the house or the apartment.”

After several blogs (here, here and here) drew attention to the letter, the LandesFrauenRat (LFR) Hessen, a women’s lobbying group that originally uploaded the politically incorrect document to its website, abruptly removed it on September 14, without explanation. The problem of rapes and sexual assaults in German refugee shelters is a nationwide problem.

In Bavaria, women and girls housed at a refugee shelter in Bayernkaserne, a former military base in Munich, are subject to rape and forced prostitution on a daily basis, according to women’s rights groups. Although the facility has separate dorm rooms for women, the doors cannot be locked and men control access to the sanitary facilities.

Approximately 80% of the refugees/migrants at the shelter are male, according to Bavarian Broadcasting (Bayerischer Rundfunk), which reports that the price for sex with female asylum seekers is ten euros. A social worker described the facility this way: “We are the biggest brothel in Munich.”

German Police insist they have no proof that the rapes are taking place, although a police raid on the facility found that guards hired to provide security at the site were trafficking drugs and weapons and were turning a blind eye to the prostitution.
