Disabled Woman Gang Raped By Immigrants In Sweden. Socialist Utopia My Arse
Socialism screws people's brains up and turns its followers into worthless arse - kissers. That's a bit extreme I know, but how else can we explain the fact that a court in the soi disant socialist utopia that is Sweden has just allowed three Muslims to walk free after they were proved to have violently gang raped a wheelchair bound disabled woman.
The civilisation hating left wing lunatics who rule Sweden are apparently prepared to tolerate any crime committed by immigrants, no matter how vile and disgusting it is, in the name of multiculturalism. On instruction from government Swedish police (like the police in Merkel's decaying Germany) do not carry out detailed medical examinations of Muslims accused of rape, nor of their victims. No tests, no forensic evidence. And neither police reports of their investigations not eyewitness evidence from white Europeans carry have much weight in Sweden's politicised justice system (well everyone knows all white people are racist and so must be lying if they claim they saw a Muslim committing a crime). So why do these socialist idiots bother having laws or a police force? Just let the Muslims run wild, to bun and rob and rape as they please, mutilate vaginas, amputate heads, stone unfaithful wives and throw homosexuals off high buildings as they please.
In a case that came to court last week, several witnesses saw a wheelchair bound woman dragged into bushes by a group of Muslim men who forcefully held her arms and legs and took turns to have sex with her. Their identity is protected and concealed by the media. Held by force, she is brutally group raped one by one by her attackers. This scene is too difficult for the Swedish courts to grasp. Apparently they did not have the required four male witnesses, according to Sharia (OK, that's sarcasm).
None of this has been seen or heard in the FAKE NEWS reported by mainstream media of course. A rather extreme Swedish web news site, NordFront carries a full account and several English language Alt media sites have reported it (e.g. HERE and HERE.) There has been a veritable epidemic of rape in Sweden since the socialist government opened the doors to these third world savages and this case is far from the first involving disabled European women being gang - raped by filthy, cowardly Muslim pigs.
Though a strong case was presented by state prosecutor Anna Stråth but the court agreed with the defence lawyers that there was no strong evidence against the men and therefore their denials proved they were not guilty.
No evidence? Six eye witnesses who the prosecution claim changed their stories. No medical evidence? Internal bruising? Semen traces, DNA? Well no, because if it is deemed racist to examine someone who accuses immigrants of rape, no evidence will be found No force to the genitals are reported in any medical examination? People forget their statements all the time in court because it takes too long for cases to be heard. Now as I said, Nordfront is a somewhat extreme site, but the number of publications, some of which, such as The Daily Express and Breitbart London I have not linked because readers who have been brainwashed by left wing propaganda (i.e. the people who NEED to read this,) will dismiss them, show there is substance in the story. And though my Swedish is not great, I read the language well enough to know from the court transcripts that claims of witnesses changing their story referred to withdrawing trivial details under aggressive questioning from defence lawyers.
When FIVE police officers are called to the scene and intervene to stop the rape, as was established by the prosecution, it is clear something bad happened, yet it is still too difficult for the Swedish court to accept that Muslim migrants could be capable of any crime. For a disabled victim to be abducted and raped, it simply cannot be claimed that the act was consensual because she did not resist. The woman is disabled for fuck's sake. in and unable to defend herself or fight back. With witnesses and police present, what more evidence could even the most fuckwitted socialist lawyer demand.

New UN Boss Says Migration To Eurpe Unstoppable, Politicians Should Ignore Voters.
Readers of this blog do not need to be reminded that the kind of politicians who worm their way into influential and well rewarded jobs in supra nation bureaucracies like the United Nations and its plethora of offshoots, NATO or the European Union are elitist shits who despise the people they are paid to serve and think sovereign nations should be liquidated and a global authoritarian government of bureaucrats, academics and financiers appointed to run the world.
It should be no surprise then that the recently appointed successor to the perpetually bewildered Korean Ban Ki Moon as General Secretary of the United Nations is somewhat less than committed to the principles of democracy and national sovereignty and an out and out fan of globalism.
Speaking at the Vision Europe Summit in Lisbon, Portuguese politician and apparent global nation enthusiast António Guterres said European nations have no right to control their borders and that must instead take in floods of the world’s poorest, most illiterate and most savage people. The ignorant buffoon does not understand how the business of getting illegal immigrants across borders into liberal nations works and how it condemns the immigrants to miserable lives or even more miserable deaths.
"The idea that management of migration is a matter of national sovereignty is extremely limited. The truth is that in the meantime, the real controllers of international mobility are the smugglers and criminal organisations. Clearly this idiot is as far out of touch with reality as the recently defeated New World Order candidate in the US election, Hillary Clinton, the outgoing president Barack Obama, the idiots who are trying to overturn the Brexit vote, and the massively unpopular European leaders Angela Merkel and Francoise Hollande, whose dogmatic, idiotic committment to 'open doors' immigration policy has led to their presiding over mounting civil unrest in Germany and France as police and vigilante groups battle in the streets with gangs of lawless migrants.

Merkel Declares War On "Fake News" EU Brands Russia Today, Sputnik "Dangerous Propaganda"
Things have come to a pretty pass when the leader of a supposedly democratic nation, Germany, is trying to abolish free speech and suppress any online news site that does not toe the line on her pro - global - dictatorship, pro - mass - immigration policies but that appears to be what Germany's Chancellor Haudfrau Volksfuhrer Merkel is trying to do.
Picking up where Barack Obama left off on the topic given the most column inches this last wee by the discredited mainstream media of the USA, namely the spread of so-called "fake news" (i.e. the stuff that was not made up by government propaganda departments and which was branded far simply as "conspiracy theory" until far too many conspiracy theories turned out to be the truth or at least somewhere close,) Hausfrau Volksfuhrer Merkel warned on Wednesday against the power of fake news on social media threaten the establishment and spur the rise of populists.
Speaking in parliament for the first time since her announcement Sunday that she would seek re-election next year, Merkel cautioned that public opinion was being "manipulated" on the internet. And we are not being manipulated by the propaganda pumped out in broadcast news and print media, oh come on Hausfrau Volksfuhrer, we are not all stupid enough to be successful politicians you know.
"Something has changed -- as globalisation has marched on, (political) debate is taking place in a completely new media environment. Opinions aren't formed the way they were 25 years ago," she said. Well that is precisely the problem, the elites are pushing towards a global authoritarian government which We The People do not want.
Quoted by France 24, Merkel said "Today we have fake sites, bots, trolls -- things that regenerate themselves, reinforcing opinions with certain algorithms and we have to learn to deal with them." She's talking bollocks of course, and compunded the offence when she said the challenge for democrats was to "reach and inspire people. However, should that fail, Merkel essentially suggested the time for censorship has come: "we must confront this phenomenon and if necessary, regulate it."
Merkel's warning comes a week after Google and Facebook (which overnight was revealed to have a "tool" ready to implement regional censorship) moved to cut off ad revenue to bogus news sites after a US election campaign in which the global misinformation industry may have influenced the outcome of the vote.
Perhaps the real reason for Merkel's concern about people seeing diverse ideas on the internet is that while her conservative Christian Democrats are likely to win the German national election, expected in September or October 2017, she is facing a strong challenge from a rightwing populist party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), which has her liberal refugee and migration policy in its crosshairs.
Meanwhile, just as Merkel was launching Europe's war on "fake news", Europe's bureaucrats were one step ahead, and in a shocking move, on Wednesday the EU Parliament voted on a non-legislative resolution which calls for the EU to “respond to information warfare by Russia.” Russian news websites RT and Sputnik news agency were alleged to be among the most dangerous "tools of Russian propaganda."
So we are not allowed to read Russian news because it might present Russia's point of view, but we are allowed to read the fabricated shite put out by corporate controlled media?

Dear Debate-Watchers,
“I guess he is a buffoon after all. Too bad.”
Those words were written by a dear friend and, until the lights went out on the first presidential debate, the most ardent of Trump supporters.
For the debate, a group of us had gathered at the Social Club at La Estancia de Cafayate here in the Argentine outback.
Most of our group were expats who, yearning to be free, have voted with our feet. Therefore, not indicative of broader US demographics.
It’s safe to say the audience was hopeful that Trump would wipe the proverbial floor with Mrs. Clinton. Within a few minutes, however, it became apparent it was not The Donald holding the mop handle.
If proof was ever needed that Hillary is a skilled politician, the debate provided it. She speaks in complete sentences, adroitly dodges sticky questions, and wields the rhetorical knife like a Colombian sicario.
Of course, Hillary had help. It often seemed as if the moderator had sat in on Hillary’s debate preparation, studiously taking notes as her team made helpful suggestions on questions he could use to blindside Trump or topics to be quickly passed over should they arise. Topics such as war-starting and email-server emptying.
But the moderator’s lack of impartiality ultimately didn’t matter, because, to the great detriment of the American Dream, The Donald could hardly string together a single coherent thought. Trump huffed and puffed—and oddly, sniffed—but in the end couldn’t have blown out a paper match.
When he did make an understandable point, as often as not, I disagreed. For instance, it seems like he’s advocating imposing a fresh round of trade tariffs, something that history has proven time and again to be a bucket of cold water over the free flow of goods and services. And he appears to favor using US military muscle to “take the oil” of Middle Eastern countries.
So, here we are.
And by “here,” I mean on the verge of electing the ultimate statist and an unindicted conspirator in too many shady deals to list here.
To give you the smallest sense of the situation, the graphic below shows the stunning increase in regulation under Obama.
As you can see, the biggest new burden foisted on the economy is an aggressive ramping up of the Environmental Protection Agency, Grand Inquisitors of the Holy Church of Weather Worriers.
While I have long held the attitude that anyone wanting to be a politician is possessed of serious character flaws, I confess to caring about Trump winning the debate and, more to the point, prevailing in the November election.
My reasons were not that he is a man of stellar character with a firm grasp on the issues, but rather because it is clear from his many public actions that he is not a politician in the conventional sense.
Therefore, the Pollyannaish side of me hoped that, upon taking office, he would stop providing water and nutrients to the growing bureaucracy that is literally destroying the US economy, as well as the very idea of America.
And by the latter, I mean a corner of the Earth where private property rights are respected and where everyone has a decent shot at attaining whatever it is they deem to be success.
You know, the America where rugged individuals are considered archetypical.
Instead, the American entrepreneur is forced to struggle through a minefield of politically correct landmines and hundreds of thousands of pages of laws and regulations.
Should he or she succeed financially, the government celebrates such success with progressively punitive taxes.
As a symbol of the New American, I would nominate campus Safe Spaces, such as the one promoted on the sign shown here, from the hallway at Hofstra University where the presidential debate was held.
I will now briefly pause, dear readers, to let out a string of loud and very politically incorrect expletives.
That out of the way, and falling in line with what it means to be an American in this day and age, I must confess to feeling “triggered” by the implications of Trump’s debate pratfall.
Starting by ensuring that those individuals whose energetic pursuit of success has resulted in them earning above-average incomes are forced by the state to “pay their fair share.”
We all know how unfair that statement is, given that the top 1% of income earners already pay about half of all income taxes, while the bottom 80% pay just 20% of the total. And a very large percentage of that total pay no taxes at all.
Mrs. Clinton is aware of these facts, but fairness and facts have no role to play in Progressive America. The only thing that counts is how the narrative plays with the rubes.
Will she be worse than Obama in terms of regulations and implementing punitive taxes? Based on her history and stump speeches, the Magic 8 ball points to “YES.”
The following quote is from a Clinton-fawning article in the Huffington Post, entitled, “The Future of America Is Being Written in This Tiny Office.”

Third-year activist Ben Froughi did not agree. He distributed flyers outside the event, informing students that they had no obligation to sit through the classes, and encouraging them to take a stand.
“When handing out the flyers to the final group of the day, one fresher stood beside me and shouted towards the group waiting to enter, ‘We don’t consent to consent talks!’ which got a laugh,” Mr. Froughi told York’s student paper Nouse.
“Consent talks are patronising; if students really need lessons in how to say yes or no then they should not be at university”, he argued.
“There is no ‘correct’ way to negotiate getting someone into bed with you. In suggesting that there is consent talks, perhaps most damaging of all, encourage women to interpret sexual experiences that have not been preceded by a lengthy, formal and sober contractual discussion as rape.
“Consent talks propagate the backward message that all women are potential victims and all men potential rapists”, he said.
However, the National Union of Students (NUS) guidelines state that universities have a duty to tell freshers the legal definitions of rape and sexual assault, citing wolf-whistles, heckling and jokes about rape as common examples of harassment.
The NUS commissioned a report in 2014 claiming that one in five students will experience some form of sexual harassment during their first week of term.
The stats were widely discredited, however, when it was revealed that “unwanted sexual advances”, such as asking a girl to dance, were classed as harassment.
York’s feminist Student Union has hit the headlines before after they banned events marking International Men’s Day less than 24 hours after a male student at the University killed himself.
Around 200 staff, students and alumni described the idea of “equality for everyone” as “misogynistic rhetoric” and argued that a Men’s day was wrong “because women are structurally unequal to men”.

Picking up where Barack Obama left off on the topic given the most column inches this last wee by the discredited mainstream media of the USA, namely the spread of so-called "fake news" (i.e. the stuff that was not made up by government propaganda departments and which was branded far simply as "conspiracy theory" until far too many conspiracy theories turned out to be the truth or at least somewhere close,) Hausfrau Volksfuhrer Merkel warned on Wednesday against the power of fake news on social media threaten the establishment and spur the rise of populists.
Speaking in parliament for the first time since her announcement Sunday that she would seek re-election next year, Merkel cautioned that public opinion was being "manipulated" on the internet. And we are not being manipulated by the propaganda pumped out in broadcast news and print media, oh come on Hausfrau Volksfuhrer, we are not all stupid enough to be successful politicians you know.
"Something has changed -- as globalisation has marched on, (political) debate is taking place in a completely new media environment. Opinions aren't formed the way they were 25 years ago," she said. Well that is precisely the problem, the elites are pushing towards a global authoritarian government which We The People do not want.
Quoted by France 24, Merkel said "Today we have fake sites, bots, trolls -- things that regenerate themselves, reinforcing opinions with certain algorithms and we have to learn to deal with them." She's talking bollocks of course, and compunded the offence when she said the challenge for democrats was to "reach and inspire people. However, should that fail, Merkel essentially suggested the time for censorship has come: "we must confront this phenomenon and if necessary, regulate it."
Merkel's warning comes a week after Google and Facebook (which overnight was revealed to have a "tool" ready to implement regional censorship) moved to cut off ad revenue to bogus news sites after a US election campaign in which the global misinformation industry may have influenced the outcome of the vote.
Perhaps the real reason for Merkel's concern about people seeing diverse ideas on the internet is that while her conservative Christian Democrats are likely to win the German national election, expected in September or October 2017, she is facing a strong challenge from a rightwing populist party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), which has her liberal refugee and migration policy in its crosshairs.
Meanwhile, just as Merkel was launching Europe's war on "fake news", Europe's bureaucrats were one step ahead, and in a shocking move, on Wednesday the EU Parliament voted on a non-legislative resolution which calls for the EU to “respond to information warfare by Russia.” Russian news websites RT and Sputnik news agency were alleged to be among the most dangerous "tools of Russian propaganda."
So we are not allowed to read Russian news because it might present Russia's point of view, but we are allowed to read the fabricated shite put out by corporate controlled media?

After the Debate, the Deluge? (Now With A Trigger Warning)

Dear Debate-Watchers,
“I guess he is a buffoon after all. Too bad.”
Those words were written by a dear friend and, until the lights went out on the first presidential debate, the most ardent of Trump supporters.
For the debate, a group of us had gathered at the Social Club at La Estancia de Cafayate here in the Argentine outback.
Most of our group were expats who, yearning to be free, have voted with our feet. Therefore, not indicative of broader US demographics.
It’s safe to say the audience was hopeful that Trump would wipe the proverbial floor with Mrs. Clinton. Within a few minutes, however, it became apparent it was not The Donald holding the mop handle.
If proof was ever needed that Hillary is a skilled politician, the debate provided it. She speaks in complete sentences, adroitly dodges sticky questions, and wields the rhetorical knife like a Colombian sicario.
Of course, Hillary had help. It often seemed as if the moderator had sat in on Hillary’s debate preparation, studiously taking notes as her team made helpful suggestions on questions he could use to blindside Trump or topics to be quickly passed over should they arise. Topics such as war-starting and email-server emptying.
But the moderator’s lack of impartiality ultimately didn’t matter, because, to the great detriment of the American Dream, The Donald could hardly string together a single coherent thought. Trump huffed and puffed—and oddly, sniffed—but in the end couldn’t have blown out a paper match.
When he did make an understandable point, as often as not, I disagreed. For instance, it seems like he’s advocating imposing a fresh round of trade tariffs, something that history has proven time and again to be a bucket of cold water over the free flow of goods and services. And he appears to favor using US military muscle to “take the oil” of Middle Eastern countries.
So, here we are.
And by “here,” I mean on the verge of electing the ultimate statist and an unindicted conspirator in too many shady deals to list here.
The Real Problem
As mentioned last week, this month’s edition of Compelling Investments Quantified, released yesterday, leads off with a fairly deep dive into the regulatory morass gunking up the workings of the US and global economies.To give you the smallest sense of the situation, the graphic below shows the stunning increase in regulation under Obama.
As you can see, the biggest new burden foisted on the economy is an aggressive ramping up of the Environmental Protection Agency, Grand Inquisitors of the Holy Church of Weather Worriers.
While I have long held the attitude that anyone wanting to be a politician is possessed of serious character flaws, I confess to caring about Trump winning the debate and, more to the point, prevailing in the November election.
My reasons were not that he is a man of stellar character with a firm grasp on the issues, but rather because it is clear from his many public actions that he is not a politician in the conventional sense.
Therefore, the Pollyannaish side of me hoped that, upon taking office, he would stop providing water and nutrients to the growing bureaucracy that is literally destroying the US economy, as well as the very idea of America.
And by the latter, I mean a corner of the Earth where private property rights are respected and where everyone has a decent shot at attaining whatever it is they deem to be success.
You know, the America where rugged individuals are considered archetypical.
Instead, the American entrepreneur is forced to struggle through a minefield of politically correct landmines and hundreds of thousands of pages of laws and regulations.
Should he or she succeed financially, the government celebrates such success with progressively punitive taxes.
As a symbol of the New American, I would nominate campus Safe Spaces, such as the one promoted on the sign shown here, from the hallway at Hofstra University where the presidential debate was held.
I will now briefly pause, dear readers, to let out a string of loud and very politically incorrect expletives.
That out of the way, and falling in line with what it means to be an American in this day and age, I must confess to feeling “triggered” by the implications of Trump’s debate pratfall.
After the Debate, the Deluge?
During the debate, Mrs. Clinton made it clear that—rather than reversing the tide of regulation and taxation, prerequisites to getting the US economy off the blocks—she is going to double down.Starting by ensuring that those individuals whose energetic pursuit of success has resulted in them earning above-average incomes are forced by the state to “pay their fair share.”
We all know how unfair that statement is, given that the top 1% of income earners already pay about half of all income taxes, while the bottom 80% pay just 20% of the total. And a very large percentage of that total pay no taxes at all.
Mrs. Clinton is aware of these facts, but fairness and facts have no role to play in Progressive America. The only thing that counts is how the narrative plays with the rubes.
Will she be worse than Obama in terms of regulations and implementing punitive taxes? Based on her history and stump speeches, the Magic 8 ball points to “YES.”
The following quote is from a Clinton-fawning article in the Huffington Post, entitled, “The Future of America Is Being Written in This Tiny Office.”
“...Clinton’s plans are as unambiguously progressive as any from a Democratic nominee in modern history—and almost nobody seems to have noticed.”
Among those plans are free college for the 50% or so of Americans who are already not paying any taxes; subsidies so no one has to pay more than 10% of their income on child care; guaranteed paid family leave; new layers of special treatment for non-whites and non-heterosexuals; new regulations to help unions regain their bargaining power and even, in her own words, to “rewrite the rules” on capitalism.
And so, at the very point in time when the US desperately needs to cut away the bureaucratic Kudzu holding back capitalism, the country is falling into the hands of a socialist sociopath who views the state as a hammer to be unhesitantly used to beat society flat.
In addition to higher taxes for those on the wrong side of the income divide, and more handouts for those on the right side, I think we can correctly anticipate some other consequences of Zer election as La Presidenta, many of which will have implications for investment markets:
That’s because he arrogantly failed to properly prepare for the debate. As a consequence, he walked into one sucker punch after another and, when smacked, had no snappy retorts prepared to steer the debate back to themes less flattering to his opponent.
By failing to prepare, he let down the millions of people who had allowed themselves to become reengaged in the political process and who dared hope the cultural Marxism overrunning the nation could be slowed.
Of course, there is another possible explanation for Trump’s performance. Maybe he did prepare rigorously for the debate—and according to his campaign co-chair, he did—in which case, could his dismal performance be a sign that, per my friend’s assessment, he actually is a buffoon? Or, as they say in Texas, he’s all hat and no cows.
Regardless, his dismal showing has fully exposed the tender belly of what was left of the American dream, granting a big opening for the progressives to move in for the kill.
It’s impossible to say. On the one hand, demoralized as Trump’s supporters may be, the idea of President Hillary is probably enough to get them off their couches come election day.
In fact, much to my surprise, following the debate, Trump’s fundraising efforts soared. And while I have heard from many Trump supporters who share my assessment of his debate performance, every one of them appears to remain committed to their candidate come election day.
However, as far as independents go, I think his performance may have poisoned that well for good.
At the end of the day, it will all come down to turnout. Whereas prior to the debate, Hillary couldn’t get any respect, I don’t think anyone who watched could deny that she appeared more presidential.
Condescending? Arrogant? Slippery? Absolutely.
But at least she was coherent.
I cannot tell you how it pains me to write these words, because I tend toward optimism in my life. Despite having removed our family from ground zero, I had hoped the driving force behind Trump’s near miraculous candidacy—an up-swelling of popular anger at the poor condition the bureaucrats have left the country in—heralded a step back toward the path of sanity for the United States.
Maybe Trump just had a really bad day and will do well enough in what’s left of the campaign season to prevail. And maybe, if elected, he’ll surround himself with smart people and then wander off to the nearest golf course like his predecessor.
At this point, given the choice between the anti-capitalist crook and the big unknown that is Donald Trump, I would still have to pull the lever for Trump and hope for the best.

- Dastardly deeds done to dirty energy. Oil, gas, nuclear, and in particular coal—are going to come under even greater pressure. Fracking is going to get fracked.
- Obamacare is dead, long live Hillarycare. Make no mistake, Hillary and her brain trust will set about “fixing” Obamacare by adding yet more bureaucracy. Universal healthcare was her pet project back in the day. She is plenty peeved Obama pulled off his version of it and so will go to great lengths to make it her own again.
- Political correctness on steroids. The morning after she is sworn in, Hillary will get to work pandering to the miscellany of special interest groups to win a second term. With George Soros on her arm and supported at every turn by the not-so-invisible hand of Silicon Valley, she’ll find ways to assure Black Lives Matter in every way they think they should matter. Ditto, the Hispanic populations and every other non-white male demographic, especially Bernie’s Millennials, who will be a far bigger factor in the next election than they are in this one.
- An economic circus, but not of the funny sort. The US economy—and most of the world’s largest economies—have suffered extensively at the hands of government bureaucrats who, through ignorance or deliberate malfeasance, have burdened it with regulations to the point of breaking. However, given that Clinton will have grand plans to make her tenure historically significant for something more than possessing a womb, you can expect a tidal wave of new regulation designed to create a more perfect world.
As the new wave of regulations will threaten to kill the already gagging golden goose, the Clinton administration will need to get very creative to keep the deficits from running amok.
I can’t even begin to guess how, but literally anything that can be imagined is on the table. Wage and price controls, higher estate taxes, big penalties for companies with assets overseas (unless, of course, her hubby is on the board), confiscating foreign-held assets… really, anything is fair game. - Prosperity on hold. Most importantly, instead of turning back toward the light, a Clinton victory ensures that the current economic stagnation and the attendant societal tensions will only worsen. Rig for a long dark night and for the deluge that is all but certain.

Students Walk Out of ‘Patronising’ Sexual Consent Class

The Women’s Officer at the University of York has labelled students “dangerously naive” after they protested the institution first ever sexual consent classes, walking out en mass as they felt “patronised”.
The Union officers argued the “gender neutral” lessons were necessary to protect first-year students’ “wellbeing, physically and mentally”, following the nationwide moral panic concerning a supposed campus “rape crisis”.However, around a quarter of the 5,000 youngsters summoned defiantly decided to leave the event, arguing that they did not need the lecture or wish to be framed as “potential rapists” by the feminist Women’s Officer.
“We’re Women’s Officers at the University of York. Earlier this year, we were elected after a cross-campus ballot in which we pledged to run consent talks. On Tuesday 27 September, we did just that”, wrote furious Student Union official Lucy Robinson, responding to the protest.
“If you’ve eaten a lasagne, would you automatically consider yourself an expert on Italian cuisine? Probably not. So why then, do we assume that 18-year-olds are experts on sexual consent, just because a number of them will have had sexual experiences?” she argued.
Third-year activist Ben Froughi did not agree. He distributed flyers outside the event, informing students that they had no obligation to sit through the classes, and encouraging them to take a stand.
“When handing out the flyers to the final group of the day, one fresher stood beside me and shouted towards the group waiting to enter, ‘We don’t consent to consent talks!’ which got a laugh,” Mr. Froughi told York’s student paper Nouse.
“Consent talks are patronising; if students really need lessons in how to say yes or no then they should not be at university”, he argued.
“There is no ‘correct’ way to negotiate getting someone into bed with you. In suggesting that there is consent talks, perhaps most damaging of all, encourage women to interpret sexual experiences that have not been preceded by a lengthy, formal and sober contractual discussion as rape.
“Consent talks propagate the backward message that all women are potential victims and all men potential rapists”, he said.
However, the National Union of Students (NUS) guidelines state that universities have a duty to tell freshers the legal definitions of rape and sexual assault, citing wolf-whistles, heckling and jokes about rape as common examples of harassment.
The NUS commissioned a report in 2014 claiming that one in five students will experience some form of sexual harassment during their first week of term.
The stats were widely discredited, however, when it was revealed that “unwanted sexual advances”, such as asking a girl to dance, were classed as harassment.
York’s feminist Student Union has hit the headlines before after they banned events marking International Men’s Day less than 24 hours after a male student at the University killed himself.
Around 200 staff, students and alumni described the idea of “equality for everyone” as “misogynistic rhetoric” and argued that a Men’s day was wrong “because women are structurally unequal to men”.

Reports By Mainstream Media Of Deliberate Hospital Bombings In Syria Are Fake News
After the kerfuffle over 'fake news' that resulted from Obama's gobsmackingly idiotic (even by his standards) whining about how 'fake news' of Facebook and Twitter had helped Donald Trump win the US Presidential Election on November 8, Alt - media, the sector Obama singled out along with social media sites, for criticism have as usual pushed back and shown that Obama's fake news blethering was just one of his paranoid conspiracy theories. No news is 100% reliable (not even this blog, we make mistakes and are occasionally guilty of posting click bait) but most of the 'fake news' available online is government propaganda published and broadcast by corporate controlled mainstream media.

It was entirely predictable that right after the Russian air force and the Syrian Army resumed the initiative to push Islamic extremist rebels out of Aleppo and their other remaining strongholds in Syria, western media would start up the anti Assad propaganda again. Sure enough we are now reading claims that the Syrians and the Russians are deliberately bombing hospitals in Aleppo and elsewhere and are using gas and other banned weapons against Obama's beloved 'moderate rebels' (the same moderate rebels that have videoed their enemies, including western journalists and aid workers being beheaded with kitchen knives or burned alive, who have posted online videos of their 'warriors' dismembering the corpses of people who opposed them and eating the raw, bloody and still warm vital organs torn from those bodies, who have taken thousands of totally innocent Shi'ite, Yazidi, Christian and Jewish girls as sex slaves and who have done more than their fair share of shelling hospitals, schools and residential property in areas loyal to Assad.
No one has ever explained why the Russians and the Syrians would intentionally attack hospitals in this way. President Assad has pointed out that it makes no sense and would be completely counterproductive for the Syrians to do so, only serving to generate hostility to his regime among the majority of Syrians who have remained loyal to him throughout the Washington sponsored ISIS uprising.
In any discussion of alleged hospital bombings in Syria, the following must always be considered.
There are no Western journalists in Jihadi controlled eastern Aleppo and scarcely anywhere else in Syria. We reported several months ago on the last independent westerners reporting from Syria. The Western journalists that are in Syria largely stick to the government controlled areas. Very occasionally the odd Western journalist travels into Jihadi controlled areas, but it is a long time since any have visited eastern Aleppo, in fact – they have not done so since it came under siege. Syrian journalists reporting from inside the rebel held area have complained of pro - rebel bias in western media reports of the conflict.
The US and the Western powers have an intelligence operation in Syria, but due to the limitations of technology it is not especially well-informed about the situation on the ground. This may be one reason why all requests the Russians have made of the US for intelligence information are refused. Whilst the hostility of the Obama administration and the Washington hawks to Russia plays the dominant role, it is possible US agencies are also reluctant to disclose how little information about the realities of the situation in Syria it actually has.
Though the Western powers and the tame Western media pretend otherwise, there is no doubt control of information in the Jihadi held areas of Syria lies with ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Both are violently anti-Western and any Western journalist entering areas they control would be risking their life. Apart from that, the days when Western media agencies employed large numbers of special correspondents, stringers and war reporters are long gone.
What that means in practical terms is that reports that come out of the Jihadi controlled areas of Syria – including eastern Aleppo – and which appear in the Western media, are reports made at second hand, usually from Jihadist propaganda because TPTB in the west have decided Assad is the guy wearing a black hat so anything even slightly suportive of his government must be lies. Western reporters do not tour the sites of the allegedly bombed hospitals. Rather the Western media is simply passing on reports alleged eye witnesses who are actually ISIS loyalists, and without questioning the substance are reporting them as verified facts. The same applies to Western governments, including the US and UK governments.
There was once a time when the Western media was careful to indicate that it was reporting unconfirmed stories or unsubstantiated allegations, or even reporting stories via a third party. 'Sources in ...' was a common phrase showing a story was not from reports that are entirely reliable or was relying on local sources in reporting the news it was publishing. Such journalistic devices told us news came from one side or another in an armed conflict and shold be read with a certain amount of scepticism.
For quite some time now, the Western media has stopped doing this. Mainstream news is no more reliable that what you read in blogs, on Russia Today or PressTV of Iran, both English language news sites staffed mainly by people whose first language is English. The BBC and CNN are particularly prone to presenting totally biased propaganda drek as factual news. Just look at the coverage of the US election provided by both these organisations.
What this means in the Syrian case is that all the reports of the attacks on the hospitals are provided by persons who to a greater or lesser extent operate under Jihadi control. In northeast Syria that essentially means Al-Qaeda contol.
None of this means that bombing of hospitals or schools has never taken place in Syria or that illegal weapons have not been used. What it does mean is that the scope for terrorist organisations like Al-Qaeda, ISIS and The Obama administration to manipulate the stories is boundless. In any war situation, there is always a high risk that the propaganda of one side or the other will be accepted, unconfirmed accounts of events by one party are often the only information available. However when the parties in question are Al-Qaeda, al Nusra front or ISIS, violent, brutal, internationally proscribed terrorist organisation, it is absolutely certain the reported events will be total fabrication.
