Its Time We Had A Sensible Conversation About Who Is Behind The Wind Power And Net Zero Fiasco

More and more frequently we are reading in the media about wind droughts and 'dunkelflaute' these days, although if you ask a roomful of people about wind droughts, you will mostly see quizzical expressions. Well people don't read news anymore do they, they simply believe what talking heds on Social Media tell them

Wind droughts might have been investigated thoroughly in the 1990s, before windmills started to be attached to national electricity grids in developed nations. Think about it. Would you go farming without checking the quality of the soil or the annual rainfall  statistics before you start tilling and planting, or indeed before purchasing the property?

The wind supply, and especially the reliability of supply, is to wind farming wha rainfall is to arable and livestock farming. In South Australia, one of the first areas to commit heavily to wind and solar power The Goyder Line was drawn on the map to warn prospective farmers about the risk of wind droughts north of the line, .

Similar lines drawn on the map of the world would have warned wind farmers away from Australia, North America, Europe, and possibly the rest of the world, and there would be no subsidised and mandated unreliable energy from windmills attached to the grid in those places.

That would have saved the trillions that have been spent around the world to build mountains of debt and obtain in return more expensive power and less secure supply with massive environmental damage, including the ruin of forests and farmland.

Not a great investment?

But hey, when there's an opportunity for virtue signalling politcians will jump on any bandwagon without giving much thought to where it might be going. Germany led the European scramble to decarbonise their electriity grid the lead, followed by Britain, Netherlands, Spain, and Denmark, followed enthusiastically, all their governments apparently being willing to destroy the national economy in order to 'save the planet'.

Now the evidence is in.

The ‘wind power experiment’ has failed disastrously, most obviously in Germany and Britain where deindustrialisation proceeds apace under the impact of rising power prices and threatened shortages. And yet the covernments are still pusing hopeless policies like mandatory transition from Internal Combustion Engine vehicles to battery powered, and forcing people to switch from gas, oil or solid fuel domestic heating to heat pumps (which in extended periods of cold weather to not work in northern climes.

But windmills cannot meet current demand when the wind does not blow (approx 20% of the time,) or is either not strong enough or too strong for wind turbines to operate efficiently.

Wind droughts are the biggest part of the problem, but they escaped serious attention until the Europeans metaphorically tripped over the Dunkelflaute in 2021. This is a winter weather pattern over the North Atlantic which causes periods of extremly cold, windless weather in western Europe. Dunkelflaute (translated as Deep Doldrums,) can last for a few days to several weeks.

So as this weather system has been around forever, why was it ignored when the switch to wind power was being planned? Well look who was involved ... 

Billionaire psychopath George Soros, a man sworn to destroy European civilisation and replace Europe's sovereign nations with a single, socialist, superstate wanted the Climate Change Act way back in 2005 and his puppet Tony Blair supplied it to order in return for the promise of future riches. Blair had already sold extremely valuable British state assets at far below value to Soros controlled consortiums in 2000 and 2003 resulting in huge profits on resale.

Blair was later rewarded with many years of consultancy work for Soros controlled organisations, worth $millions. David Miliband, a minister in Blair's Labour government, who steered the Climate Change Act through parliament in 2006/7, was rewarded with the now million dollar CEO position in Open Society a New York charity dedicated to facilitating mass migration from third world nations to Europe and North America, heavily financed by George Soros.onservative leader David Cameron, who was extremely enthusiastic about the Climate Change Act, and who later appointed a number of Soros’ friends to senior positions and encouraged his Conservative Party to vote for it, duly received a directorship of a Soros financed organisation.

George Soros’ friends and connections were planted on the Climate Change Committee and the Energy Transitions Commission. Lord Adair Turner, described as in ‘alliance’ with Soros by the Daily Telegraph, was the first chairman of the Climate Change Committee from 2008 and then chairman of the Energy Transitions Commission from 2016. Lord Adair Turner, another close friend of Soros and Blair has managed Britain’s transition to Net Zero continuously except for an interval when he worked  as chairman of The George Soros’ Institute for New Economic Thinking. Friends and connections of covered for him during this period.

David Miliband, who arranged the Climate Change Act exactly as required, recruited Bryony Worthington from Friends of the Earth to help write the legislation. Worthington was running the Friends of the Earth Big Ask campaign which was about limiting carbon output by law. Friends of the Earth is part financed by George Soros through Open Society and Bryony Worthington was given a peerage as Baroness Worthington and appointed to the House of Lords by George Soros’ friend and errand boy David Cameron.

Lord Adair Turner was given a peerage by George Soros’ friend Tony Blair in 2005 to facilitate the passage of the Climate Change Act 2008 through the House of Lords which his friend George Soros wanted.

Another close friend of the Soros cabal Lord Nicholas Stern who wrote the Stern Report on which the disastrous Climate Change Act that enshirined 'Nt Zero' into law received a peerage from Soros’ stooge Gordon Brown when he took over as Prime Minister from Blair. Lord Stern no holds a senior position at the London School of Economics which has received huge donations from George Soros and ex Con MP Chris Skidmore who sponsored the Act of Parliament that bound the UK by law to work towards Net Zero, holds a valuable LSE position under Lord Stern.

The modern economic and political system of the free world is built on such corruption.

The Far Right Are On The March - Should We Be Afraid?

 

According to many talking heads on TV and internet video blogs the 'far right' are currently posing threats to democracy and the rule of law throughout Europe as well as in the UK. But who are these terrifying monsters and what do they stand for?

The rise of new, populist parties can be attributed largely to mass immigration. Over the past 25 years millions of poorly educated, unskilled migrants have entered European nations and caused havoc by their inability and unwilligness to integrate with local society and custioms. This blog has written many thousands of words on the topic. It now seems, however, that the normally placid and tolerant British have had enough. A very ugly mood has developed among the white working class since the Labour government assumed power in July 2024.

Between the riots of last summer and record migration rates of 900,000 in 2023, a less aggressive feeling of discontent has been superseded by anger due largely to the renewed controversy over Asian rape gangs and in particular, the apparent failures and cover-ups by establishment politicians. 

Farage’s softer nationalism, as well as his online spat with Elon Musk over support for the activist Tommy Robinson, has presented fringe groups to the right of Reform UK with an opportunity. Reflecting a resurgent brand of impassioned ethnonationalism, it is understandable that they feel like their moment has come.

At heart, the ethnonationalist believes that nationhood,  and the resultant social and political benefits,  can only truly be shared by those with a common race. Their movement is fuelled by the sense of a coming threat, the idea that a racial identity dating back over a thousand years could be wiped out. The flood of immigration in recent years and the ensuing change to Britain’s ethnic make-up has given succour to ethnonationalist arguments, and these are growing louder on the political fringes.

The far-Right in the UK was once dominated by the British National Party, led in its heyday by Nick Griffin. The BNP reached its peak in 2009 when it secured two MEPs and a little under a million votes in European Parliament elections — spurred on by migration figures that had reached around 200,000 after which, under constant attack from left wing media and intense scrutiny from the 'Thought Police' it faded rapidly.

The ethno-nationalists that are now being referred to as 'far right' to are depressing but can a better case be made for the ethnic state, a British Britain? After all Japan has remained Japanese and is anyone calling her racist? Then there is a much wider, more respectable and accepted desire to reduce the amount and speed of immigration, as suggested by Reform; which is actually driven by a desire to preserve the white British. 

Then again, in the 19th c. ethnic citizen states like Italy or Greece were liberal causes, in opposition to reactionary dynastic Empires like Hapsburg Austria or Ottoman Turkey.

 Further consider Britain in 1945. It was essentially a white British country with a common history, common culture and common ‘race’ – yes, there tiny exceptions. But wasn’t there a far greater sense of a national community and sense of social solidarity, and a far greater trust in our government and media? There were acute social divisions but these were family arguments which could be forthrightly addressed and we had the Attlee Labour government reforms – there was some real levelling up.

Compare that with today where England has become Multiracial-land. A sense of ‘us’and ‘our country’ has gone as population growth is now due entirely to immigration, we’ve become consumers not citizens and we distrust and even loathe our politicians and MSM, mainstream media – now the guard dogs of the establishment rather than watchdogs of the people – and even free speech is under threat as 'far left' Prime Minister Kweir Smarmer promises to jail anybody who challenges the government on any controversial issue.

So though we are richer, or some of us are, things are worse and isn’t that largely due to mass immigration, a policy  which, incidentally, has never ben put to the electorate and so has never enjoyed a democratic mandate no democratic mandate?

Shouldn’t we have seen that diversity, a key cause of civil conflict worldwide, is foolish to import?

Doesn’t basic evolutionary theory suggest in an imperfect world that having people like you as fellow citizens is wise – follow the science? In our affirmation of multiculturalism we affirm the ethnicity of the minorities so why not our own? Kaufmann in his White Shift predicts with continuing immigration there will be no white British at a point in the next century. Are we sure that’s a social good?

If we insist that it is, that we must all be racially beige, are we telling the rest of the world that , and that they must follow us, and what will they say? Yes, there is the USA, but how is it doing for social cohesion of a multi ethnic, multi cultural population?

Now we do know about the hideousness of uber nationalism, the one thing schools tell you about, but isn’t a moderate ethnic nationalism a real good, an essential social glue? We respect it in Ukraine after all. Think about it. If we are white, aren’t we a bit neurotic about race? It is actually part of who we are and it is actually OK. IT DOESN’T MAKE US BETTER OR WORSE, we are all part of a common humanity, but just a little different – if we looked in the mirror one morning and saw a change it would be a shock.

All this applies to any race, of course and we just need mutual respect, but for us whites too, and for our countries and our cultures as well. And for the people Lownie refers to, the British ethno-nationalists, Goodhart’s Somewhere People and often left behind too, who in their frustration and anger get it so wrong, and so conveniently can be ignored, might not a firm and fair commitment to the historic population, properly led by the educated, be what we all need?

It's a triumph of the radical Left that only the Dalai Lama is now allowed to speak "the truth"

The Dalai Lama is a revered figure who is universally admired for his lifelong, peaceful opposition to the oppression and subjugation of his country and people by the brutal socialist regime in the People's Republic of China. Ironically the political factions in the west who revere him most vocallly are supporters of socialism and authoritarianism, the two things he is most strongly opposed to.

This humble Buddhist monk, who symbolises the struggle for peace and independence, so it is strange that he is supported by the very voices who cried out for the west to invade Syria and depose the popular ruler Bashir al Assad. Now Assad is not a liberal by western standards and by no stretch of the imagination is it democratic, but Assad, a member of the minority Alawite Muslim sect has protected minorities such as Jews, Syriac Christians, Yazidi and Druze (the latter pair being ancient sects whose religious faith is Islamic, with elements of Hinduism and Zoroastrianism thrown in,) from the brutal fundamentalism of fundamentalist Sunni Muslims, the type who believe that the only thing worse than someone who is not a Muslim is someone who is the wrong kind of Muslim.

The west's liberals and progressives, all to willing to believe the anti Assad propaganda used to justify what has been called Obama's war, claim to believe in peace and harmony, but want it to be achieved on their terms. They want western style Cultural Marxism imposed in Syria as they have tried to impose it, with catastrophic consequences in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.

Syria is in fact a perfect example of who one-size-fits-all western solutions do not suit the very different collective mindset of middle eastern, African and South - East Asian communities. But back to the Dalai Lama, whose country, Tibet, is one of the strangest and most idiosyncratic in the world. Why is it that his efforts to rid Tibet of the oppressive socialism of Communist China so inspired the very people who spend their entire lives fighting against capitalism and campaigning for socialism/ communism / Marxism in the west.

His life has been devoted primarily to the struggle to win independence from China for his country, Tibet, and allow it to return to being a mysterious, spiritual community separated from the rest of the world by a cultural divide unbridgable to most western minds, and secondly to preserve Tibetan culture and identity against the efforts of the communists to swallow Tibet into the Chinese empire.

Away from his struggles for Tibetan heritage however, some think him a kind of spiritual placebo whose main purpose aside from pissing off China's communist leaders, is to offer platitudinous comments on the problems of the world.

"The Dalai Lama loves pease," a placard held by one of his western supporters at a recent event read (presuming they meany 'peace' and not the type of prrridge made from peas, don't we all, some of us would even go as far as bombing small nations to destruction in order to avert the threat of their leaders not doing what the peace loving western governments think they should.) So, peacenik, Sergeant Bilko lookalike, nationalist and all round good g..................... WHAAAAT? Nationalist?

But nationalism is evil. The EU are overturning election results in member states to stop emergent nationalist parties getting a hand on the levers of power. In the USA, Democrat extremists are still trying to get the nationalist Trump removed from power and replaced by the globalist warmonger Hillary CIniton (even though there is no way in U.S. law this could happen,) because nationalism is EVIL.

Yet I doubt that anyone has ever claimed that the world’s most famous Buddhist is a fascist, xenophobe or (that most common and inexact label of our time) “alt-right”. Perhaps it is time to rethink this assumption? For during a speech this week, the Dalai Lama said something that, if it had come from anyone else’s lips, would have had them labelled a full-on fascist. Whip up those robes, they would claim, and you will find jackboots.

Because the Dalai Lama, speaking honestly about problems caused by uncontrolled immigration in an EU member state that likes to think of itself as one of the world's most 'woke' nations, has to the surprise of most radical lefties but few people who actually know asnything about him and his life's work, has revealed himself as a nationalist.

His comments came while he was visiting Malmo, Sweden, one of the Swedish cities most badly hit by the epidemic of inter - community violence among migrant grous as the vie for control of the drugs, sex, contraband booze and illicit gambling businesses. In 2015 alone Sweeden added an extra 2 per cent to its population through migration. It is best that Europe does not become the home for everyone in the world who manages to arrive at the EU's borders. Societies that are fundamentally altered without the consent of their peoples will be hard-pushed to remain orderly or harmonious, which is exactly what is happening in Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Ntherlands and Spain right now.

And it is totally unfair to the nations of the developing world the developing world that their most talented and driven people be encouraged by far - left charities funded by Marxist billonaires to come to Europe and eke out a living as office cleaners, sandwich stuffer or Uber drivers on the fringess of our legal economy.

Of course opinion polls show that most European voters agree with the Dalai Lama and this impression is backed by recent electon results in Spain, Germany, Italy and Sweden itself. Yet few people can hope to occupy the kind of platform mainstream media grant such a major figure as The Dalai Lama. So the recognition grows that what is tolerated from one mouth will not be tolerated from another. And the question of who is allowed to speak basic truths in our societies ferments away.

Over recent decades, the radical Left has pushed an extraordinarily divisive and destructive idea, from university campuses outwards: that the identity of a speaker matters more than the content of their words. That “who says a thing” matters more than “what is being said”. It is a claim which, among other things, inverts the central moral insight of Martin Luther King – that people should be judged by the content of their character, not their immutable characteristics. Today the most important thing 
has become not the truth of an argument but the characteristics of the speaker. The Dalai Lama has the robe, religion, pigmentation, haircut and history to immunise himself from the worst accusations. But your average European is not so lucky. We are forced to lie, remain silent or be insulted if we wish to speak basic truths. And not just on this matter, but on any number of matters 
pushed by the moral-flatulence of 
the radical Left.

If you are a straight white male today then your chance of being listened to on any matter is vanishingly small. If you are gay then a window may be open for a nanosecond longer. If you are a woman you may get a pass on some issues. If you are from an ethnic minority you will be allowed a few more.

But even then you have to toe amazingly specific (and fast-moving) lines in order not to become anathematised by people who only pretend to care. Just ask those Labour women who raised objections to ex-men on all-women shortlists. For the truth is that while identity is the determining issue in the interim, it is merely the battering ram for a whole political project coming in behind once the gates are down.

Ignorant of this fact, even conservatives currently seem willing to rearrange our society not along the colour-blind, gender-blind lines that some of us still wish for, but along the lines of people who are gender and race-obsessed.

The consequences are all around us. Everywhere across the public and private sector, appointments based on merit are being weighed up – and increasingly losing – against appointments made on identity. Even our Government is far from immune from the temptation. After all, why was Karen Bradley appointed Secretary of State for Northern Ireland? This is a person so ignorant – and so confident in her ignorance – that she was happy to reveal in a recent interview that she knew nothing whatsoever about Northern Ireland before starting her present role. Was she put in her place for her great intellectual curiosity? Because the Prime Minister thought this an especially good moment to put a novice into that role? Or because as each day goes by everything becomes ever-more about the speaker not the speech?

This is why the rise of Jacob Rees-Mogg is pleasant even for those of us often in disagreement with him. In the world that the radical Left has set up, there should be no one so ignored. Not only pale and male, but rich and double-breasted. Yet he also happens to display two attributes which have been vanishing from public life of late: intelligence and courtesy.
The same far-Left who have spent recent years trying to present all non-Dalai Lamas as xenophobes are now trying to unload their whole armoury on Rees-Mogg. They seek to present his views on abortion as misogyny, his adherence to the Catholic faith as membership of an obscure, dangerous cult, and his devotion to fiscal responsibility as a barely disguised desire to kill the poor. Which is why people who presumably think of themselves as good human beings are happy to stand outside the Rees-Mogg house bullying the Rees-Mogg children.

A few years ago the actor and director Rupert Everett presented a television programme on prostitution. During its course, he interviewed a number of practitioners. At one stage he made some point and one former prostitute snapped: “I find that offensive.” In a moment of televisual bliss, Everett replied, “Oh yes, tell me why?” And she told him. And they argued the point.

On almost every issue, great and small, in our society today – from immigration to gender, race to Northern Ireland – everyone is happy to claim offence. And plenty of people are willing to accept the idea that basic truths cannot be defended by most people based on immutable characteristics.
Too few people are willing to say: “Tell me why.” Or even try to argue anything out. But perhaps we should give it a go – once again regarding facts, evidence and serious contestation as matters of import. After all, the world’s biggest bore cannot be the only person permitted to tell the truth.

Even The Exiled Dalai Lama Agrees: "Europe Belongs To Europeans"

Is the Buddhist spiritual leader a white supremacist, an inveterate racist or even a closet Nazi? Only a very misinformed person would suggest such a thing. So how do we explain his recent remark that the millions of refugees who have been allowed to enter Europe should ultimately return to their homelands to “rebuild their own country"? Is that really such a vile and hateful suggestion?


Speaking at an event to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the founding of Individual Human Aid (IM), an international charity group that helped Buddhists resettle in Sweden following the 1959 Tibetan uprising, the 83-year-old Dalai Lama spoke without any fear of upsetting his PC-obsessed audience.

“Recently large numbers of refugees, many from the Middle East, have fled to Europe in fear for their lives,” he told a group of journalists.
“They have been given shelter and support, but the long-term solution should include providing training and education, particularly for their children, so they can return to rebuild their own countries when peace has been restored.”
"Receive them, help them, educate them... but ultimately they should develop their own country," advised the 83-year-old Tibetan, who understands firsthand what it means to be an (legitimate) asylum seeker.
"I think Europe belongs to the Europeans," he continued, adding that refugees should understand that "they ultimately should rebuild their own country".

Predictably, the comment struck fell like a lightning bolt not only in the globalist camp, obsessed as it is with bringing Europe to its knees, but throughout Sweden, which just witnessed the anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats party take third place in the general election with 18 percent of the vote, an increase of nearly 5 points since the 2014 election. Third place may not sound great, until it is realized that it was the first time that Sweden’s ruling Social Democratic Party failed to win an absolute majority since its founding 129 years ago.

The comments by the Dalai Lama came across as a bracing slap in the face, a courageous wake-up call, and not least of all because the event took place in Sweden’s third-largest city of Malmo, where soaring crime rates among foreign-born nationals have made some neighborhoods no-go zones, where not even police and firefighters dare tread.

The reason the Dalai Lama is permitted to utter such unspeakable things goes beyond his spiritual authority; he himself is a refugee living in exile who dreams of returning someday to his native homeland of Tibet. It is that hope of return that informs his attitude to the ongoing migrant crisis, which is now dividing Europe along many cultural, social and political lines.

I am tempted to believe the Dalai Lama was invited to Sweden specifically to utter the things so many Swedes find it impossible to articulate; a sort of sadomasochistic exercise in humility and humiliation before the wise, plainspoken spiritual leader. After all, it is no secret that the Tibetan Buddhist leader has made such controversial remarks before.

Back in 2016, for example, in an interview in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, he remarked, with regards to migrants, “there are too many now". Then, in a swipe at Angela Merkel’s open-door migrant policy, which has seen millions of migrants flood the European Union since 2015, he said, with the perpetual, all-knowing smile on his face, “Germany cannot become an Arab country…Germany is Germany.”

Now just imagine the feigned fury had Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s former Chief Strategist, for example, uttered something similar. Actually, there is no need to imagine because it just happened this week as Bannon defended Matteo Salvini, Italy’s deputy prime minister, and Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister, for attempting to protect the “sovereignty of their country”.

The Dalai Lama added that "from a moral point of view too, I think that the refugees should only be admitted temporarily".

However, for anybody who has studied the history of the mass movement of peoples, repatriation rarely if ever happens. Once a group of people have entered the borders of a sovereign state and set down roots - especially in the case of the European Union with its preponderance of bureaucratic red tape - it is excessively difficult to ‘send them back’ to where they originated. It is no exaggeration to say that the Swedish people may become in some not-so-distant future the minority, forced to accept whatever charity their conquerors will bestow upon them.

The one individual who seems to have the best grasp of the situation is Hungarian Prime Minister Orban, who just suffered a defeat in the European Parliament as MEPs voted to launch sanctions against his country. Viktor Orban’s unspeakable crime: daring to take physical measures to prevent an invasion of illegal aliens from entering Hungary – like constructing a barbed-wire fence that runs the length of the border with Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.

Orban is the leading voice among the so-called Visegrad countries, made up of Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These nations played no role in conquering Middle Eastern sovereign states, which instigated the mass exodus of people in the first place. Why must Budapest sacrifice its social order and security, much like Germany, France and the UK have already done, which is evident by the terrorist attacks that have rocked these places on a number of occasions?

Furthermore, the only “moral responsibility” that true, unscrupulous leaders like Viktor Orban have in mind is the safeguarding of their nation and people. The feeling of moral responsibility should have come much earlier in the form of speaking out against illegitimate Middle Eastern wars that are responsible for producing these refugees in the first place. Where is the voice of the Netherlands, for example, the home of NATO, to make sure these barbaric acts of aggression did not happen in the first place? It is on the question of military aggression, conducted by NATO states, where the question of “moral responsibility” must first be heard, not after the fact by countries suddenly expected to absorb the flood.

Europe is experiencing a grave moral deficit from its major powers because they refused to speak out against America’s imperial ambitions in the first place. Now, unless more people begin to heed the wise words of individuals like the Dalai Lama and, yes, Steve Bannon, the entire European project will collapse and Western civilization as we know it will have changed to the point of irrelevancy.

A report from a new study conducted by University College London’s may cause a stir in the climate scaremongering industry. The report published on Tuesday contained the findings of a research project that links mass population displacement in East Africa over the past half century to social and political factors rather than to climate change, which goes against the "scientific consensus" we have been told repeatedly over the past twenty years is irrefutable.

Published by Palgrave Communications, the report examines the causes of populations displaced within states and those forced to leave their countries of origin and found that rapid population growth and falling or stagnating economic growth in African states within the last decade overwhelmingly accounted for the dramatic increase in the number of refugees crossing the continent, including those seeking sanctuary in Europe.

The authors of the report found links between local or regional conflicts and an upsurge in displaced people arriving in Europe in eight out of ten armed conflicts in East Africa. Another trend linked refugee numbers to unconstrained the population growth which began three a decades ago. It also concluded that economic slowdowns were indicative of 70 percent of population displacements a decade later.

What does this paskudniak hing the EU and Europe's left wing politicians have been trying and failing miserably to do for the past five years?

Opposition From EU Members Sinks Brussels' Refugee Quotas Plan

European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker (aka Jean Claude Drunkard on account of his penchant for drinking brandy at breakfast, lunch and dinner and with his between means snacks) in not happy that his flagship plan to stem Europe’s migration crisis by redistributing refugees, asylum seekers and illegal immigrants around the bloc to make them less visible is falling apart as EU states refuse to share the burden that the Brussels bureaucrats and Hausfrau - Volksfuhrer Merkel have inflicted on the European Union through politically correct but logically idiotic policies.

Diplomats, E U officials and aid workers have told Agence Presse France (AFP) that
since the the scheme was forced on EU member states by the bureaucratic dictatorship without consultation last September, the goal of to relocating 160,000 asylum seekers from frontline states Greece and Italy, to other European Union countries have moved at a snail’s pace, taking in just 500 people as nation after nation refused to cooperate.

Having rammed through his pet project for easing a crisis that saw more than one million people flood Europe’s shores last year, former Luxembourg premier Juncker last month vowed “not to give up” on the scheme.

But two EU diplomats, an official from an EU country, a sociologist, and an aid worker working with migrants spoke of growing doubts the plan will succeed in the face of determined opposition from many governments in the 28-nation bloc.

As it becomes clear that heavily armed terrorists have for a considerable time crossed freely between France and Belgium before the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris (14 November, 2015), in a reversal of recent policy (and out of fear of a landslide victory for the anti - EU Front National in next month's regional elections?) France will call for the suspension of the Schengen zone open borders agreement. At the same time the Front National leader Marine Le Pen has demanded an immediate end to open door immigration policy.

Europe’s free movement zone is already under pressure due to the tide of illegal entrants flooding over the EU's external borders. Now, terror stricken French citizens will use public outrage to demand emergency border controls and the re - establishment of national borders at a summit on Friday.

"The French are going to push hard for everyone else to institute border controls, particularly Belgium, but across the wider euro area. To all intents and purposes it will be a temporary suspension of Schengen," a diplomatic source told the British news media.

The leader of France’s Front National, Marine Le Pen, was quick to call for an "immediate cessation of all migrant holding in France and the immediate cessation of their dispersion in the communes of France", highlighting in her statement the fact that one of the Paris attackers had registered as a ‘refugee’ in Greece. before travelling on to France without encountering further checks. Greece has far to many problems of its own to be burdened with the responsibility of processing all the people arriving acroos the border with Turkey or on the shores of its hundreds of islands

It emerged later that two of the terrorists entered Europe as ‘refugees’ in Greece, before traveling hundreds of miles, unimpeded, up into France."…One of the suicide bombers to the Stade de France arrived in Greece on October 3rd, among the mass of migrants who flock each day into Europe. He then took the road to France," Mlle Le Pen said in a statement

Sources in Europe said it was too early to say whether the new measures proposed by France would be temporary or indefinite. However, they expected it to last for a considerable period of time.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also links migration and terrorism. He said:

"In a deliberate and organised way, terrorists have exploited mass migration by mingling in the mass of people leaving their homes in the hope of a better life,” Mr. Orban told lawmakers Monday in a speech titled “Attack on Europe," Agencie France Presse reported.

The Daily Express ran a story, "Islamic State reveals it has smuggled THOUSANDS of extremists into Europe which confirmes that those of us who warned where the 'open doors' immigration policy were right, and those who called us conspiray theorists and right wing nut jobs were on the side of extremists and terrorists.

...There are now more than 4,000 covert ISIS gunmen "ready" across the European Union, he claimed." And they could be on their way to Britain.

And where does Britain stand in all this? In all probability the migration crisis, distilled now by its association with the Paris tragedy, will convince many waverers to vote to leave the EU and in my view anything that helps get us out of the undemocratic, integrationist Union that threatens the sovereignty and regional cultures of nation states is to be welcomed. Having said that, I have never associated the Europe with the immigration issue, that we were not in the Shengen zone should have been protection enough for our borders and the existence of the Shengen zone, which provides for free movement between E U nations, had it been operated properly, would not have allowed the current crisis to happen. Under the terms of the free movement rules, citizens of member states and travellers who arrived legally (i.e. with passports, visas where appropriate, work permits, medical insurance and sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay, having been processed at the EU's external border would be free to travel around the Shengen Zone as if they were citizens.

When the Shengen zone was started it held quite well for some years, Greece was a problem, Italy's borders were quite porus but the borderline third world nations of eastern Europe were not in the Union. However when the politically correct idiocy emanating from universities permeated the politicaly establishment, sense went down the pan. If a man with darker skin than yourself demands that you suck his dick, you must comply because to refuse is racist," was the refrain, although the lefties and globalists did not say it out loud in public.

Without the rules ever being formally changed, the barrier of the EU's external borders was dismantled. Border police in member nations ceased to check arrivals, anyone could enter. And then idiot leaders like Hausfrau - Volksfuhrer Merkel, and left wing fringe groups like The Fabian Society began actively publicising the idea that we had lots of work, lots of spare houses, infinte acres of land and more money than we knew what to do with in Europe and everybody could come and would get a free house, free healthcare and be paid a wage for doing nothing. Some even believed a european virgin would be provided for their personal use. And then with unslilled, illiterate, gullible (sic) migrants flooding in something happened to make matters worse.

It was the recent change to the 'Dublin accords' on movement of people between nations. Some bright spark of a Euronazi bureaucrat came up with a way to dump the problem of immigrants on the rich counties that already have lage immigrant communities. By altering the legislation to say that immigrants can demand asylum in any country where they claim to have a relative, not just the first EU country they entered the EU ensured all those free wage, free house, free virgin seekers would head for Britain France, Germany, The Netherlands or Sweden (Denmark has already closed its borders in defiance of EU diktat and Austria is known for the very cool welcome it extends to dark skinned people, the have not forgotten the siege of Vienna in 1529 when Sutan Sulymun of The Ottoman Empire's bid to unify Europe was thwarted by Austrian 'Xenophobes' (Our leftie colleagues would say we should have welcomed the foreigners as their brutally oppresive and theocratic enlightenment, in which dissidents were mordered and women were property rather than people, would have culturally enriched backward, Christian Europe .

So now a fully qualified goat herder can turn up in Greece, and claim asylum in the UK, by saying that he has a fourth cousin six times removed living illegally in Londonistan.

This has sparked an (unfortunately temporary) mass migration of ambulance chasing lawyer to Calais and points east, where they hope to stuff their wallets with legal aid money by exploiting every loophole to get everybody in the world legally established as having the 'right' to live in Britain.. And of course, unlike every other EU country, the UK will be dumb enough to actually enforce the Dublin III amendments, although for the past twenty years our politicians and law enforcement agencies claimed it was impossible to enforce the border controls our sovereign Prliament had enacted.

In spite of all that I still believe, though I accept that public opinion is polarising on either side of me, that there are benefits in regulated, legal immigration and emigration, without it I would never have met Kalpana and Saba (India) Bobbi (Jamaica) and Maria (Brazil).
