If you thought Brarack Hussein Obama was the only world leader to clench his fists, stamp his feet and "scweam and scewam until he's sick" when he does not get what he wants, you'd be wrong. This week leaders on the USA's NATO allies have shown they too care capable of throwing hissy fits and behaving like spoiled five year olds as the completely failed to accept defeat of NATO backed terrorists in Syria by the combined forces of the Syrian government, Iranian ground troops and Russian air support. Immediately following the liberation of Aleppo and the rout of western backed terrorists, a surge in military attacks by NATO-backed Kiev regime forces on the breakaway eastern Ukraine regions has been reported.
This is the mature and statesmanlike reaction of western leaders to events in Syria.
Although a fragile ceasefire between the Kiev government and Donbass separatists has held for several months, since the collapse of ISIS resistance in and around Aleppo hundreds of ceasefire breaches by troops belonging to the Ukraine Armed Forces (UAF) are being reported in the separatist self-declared republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. Over the past few days, several towns and villages have come under intense shelling from artillery, rockets and mortars in stark violation of the Minsk agreement.
That agreement brokered by Russia, Germany and France during 2014 and 2015, was intended to lead to a diplomatic settlement to end the conflict between the Western-backed Kiev regime, which came to power in 2014 when a CIA engineered coup in February 2014 overthrew the democratically elected government which favoured closer ties with Russia. The breakaway provinces of Donetsk and Luhansk, have consistently refused to recognize the legitimacy of the Kiev regime.
Houses, schools and water treatment plants have been hit as the UAF and Neo-Nazi militias move heavy weapons close to the front line. Reports suggest the Kiev regime is preparing for a renewed attack on the ethnic Russian region. As expected Russia's response has been swift and missile defence systems have been installed to protect Russian interests.
So far, the militia of the DPR and LPR have repelled the offensive, with dozens of casualties reportedly suffered by the Kiev regime’s military.
It is no coincidence that the new attacks on Donbass come just as the US and its NATO allies suffer a major setback in their covert war for regime change in Syria and ultimately control of the middle east. The liberation of the battleground city of Aleppo suggests the end of the nearly six-year conflict in Syria is close and the regime-change project in Syria to oust the government of President Bashar al-Assad has ended up as another foreign policy failure for the catastrophic presidency of Barack Obama.
Turkey, which until recently was a key player in Obama's regime-change ambitions seems to be aligning with Russia and Iran to bring an end to the war in neighboring Syria. Earlier this week however, we reported foreign and defense ministers from Russia, Iran and Turkey met in Moscow to declare their commitment to end the Syrian conflict. The exclusion of the US” from this initiative is intended as an insult to President Obama and Secretary of state Kerry. The New York times commented: "The new alignment and absence of any Western powers at the table all but guarantee that President Bashar al-Assad will continue to rule Syria under any resulting agreement."
In other words, it’s "game over" for Washington, the delusions of 'President Of the Entire Universe And Everything Else besides' Obama and the Clinton led Democrat Crime Syndicate and their criminal enterprise to subvert Syria.

Migrants Insulating Themselves From European Culture
Immigrant communities in Germany, especially in Muslim dominated areas, are becoming more isolated and resisting attempt to encourage integration with western society according to a new study.
The biggest contributory factor in current wave of lawlessness and civil unrest in Muslim areas, and the increasingly confrontational situation between recent migrants and Germans has been the inability of the German government to properly integrate migrants from the Middle East, North Africa and elsewhere into German society.
These uneducated and often illiterate immigrants are not only virtually unemployable, they seem to think they can cling to Sharia Law and other values and traditions of their homeland which are totally incompatible with European secular values. This is particularly apparent in their attitude to women. Many of these migrants think it is OK to rape a woman who goes out in public wearing a short skirt, or with her head uncovered.
The study, carried out by by the German Association for Housing and Urban Development (VHW), shows that migrants, especially those of a lower income bracket, are becoming less integrated and some outright reject the culture of Germany entirely according to a report in Die Welt .
The study, titled "immigrant worlds in Germany 2016," looks at migrants within the major cities and municipalities of the country and shows many migrant groups choosing to isolate themselves rather than establish links with those of other backgrounds. Bernd Hallenberg, who works for the VHW, said, “The migrant milieus are developing apart.” Many migrant communities are retreat into themselves on a social and cultural level, refusing to mix with people of other cultures and refusing to tolerate the values of other cultures.
The study shows a trend of migrants, who once saw themselves as Germans, identifying more with the ethnic and cultural background of their origin. A similar study carried out in 2008 by the VHW shows a trend among migrants to Germany towards segregation, rather than integration.
It is not helpful when academics such as sociologist Annette Treibel publicly state that Germans should integrate into migrant culture and adopt the bahaviour and lifestyles of migrants to make the newcomers feel more welcome in Germany. Similar proposals have been made by other academics who see the idea of an overarching German culture as “proto-fascist” notion. They have called for mandatory Arabic lessons for Germans in the public education system. Such interventions are seen by German nationalists as fanning the flames of civil unrest.
Germany is set to spend € billions on the integration of new migrants per year, but if the VHW study is any indication, the money may be largely wasted. Some more conservative and nationalistic academics have urged the German government to take a radically different approach and encourage the further ghettoization of migrant groups. While this is popular with rank and file voters, the political and social establishment are horrified by such ideas and dismiss them as racist.
An even more radical proposal was made by Salafist expert and Green party member Kurt Edler who said that Syrian asylum seekers shouldn’t be expected to integrate into German society and should instead be given their own city, which he called a “New Aleppo.” The glaring folly of that idea is it takes the first step towards the disastrous development of establishing a state within a state.

Reports By Mainstream Media Of Deliberate Hospital Bombings In Syria Are Fake News
After the kerfuffle over 'fake news' that resulted from Obama's gobsmackingly idiotic (even by his standards) whining about how 'fake news' of Facebook and Twitter had helped Donald Trump win the US Presidential Election on November 8, Alt - media, the sector Obama singled out along with social media sites, for criticism have as usual pushed back and shown that Obama's fake news blethering was just one of his paranoid conspiracy theories. No news is 100% reliable (not even this blog, we make mistakes and are occasionally guilty of posting click bait) but most of the 'fake news' available online is government propaganda published and broadcast by corporate controlled mainstream media.

It was entirely predictable that right after the Russian air force and the Syrian Army resumed the initiative to push Islamic extremist rebels out of Aleppo and their other remaining strongholds in Syria, western media would start up the anti Assad propaganda again. Sure enough we are now reading claims that the Syrians and the Russians are deliberately bombing hospitals in Aleppo and elsewhere and are using gas and other banned weapons against Obama's beloved 'moderate rebels' (the same moderate rebels that have videoed their enemies, including western journalists and aid workers being beheaded with kitchen knives or burned alive, who have posted online videos of their 'warriors' dismembering the corpses of people who opposed them and eating the raw, bloody and still warm vital organs torn from those bodies, who have taken thousands of totally innocent Shi'ite, Yazidi, Christian and Jewish girls as sex slaves and who have done more than their fair share of shelling hospitals, schools and residential property in areas loyal to Assad.
No one has ever explained why the Russians and the Syrians would intentionally attack hospitals in this way. President Assad has pointed out that it makes no sense and would be completely counterproductive for the Syrians to do so, only serving to generate hostility to his regime among the majority of Syrians who have remained loyal to him throughout the Washington sponsored ISIS uprising.
In any discussion of alleged hospital bombings in Syria, the following must always be considered.
There are no Western journalists in Jihadi controlled eastern Aleppo and scarcely anywhere else in Syria. We reported several months ago on the last independent westerners reporting from Syria. The Western journalists that are in Syria largely stick to the government controlled areas. Very occasionally the odd Western journalist travels into Jihadi controlled areas, but it is a long time since any have visited eastern Aleppo, in fact – they have not done so since it came under siege. Syrian journalists reporting from inside the rebel held area have complained of pro - rebel bias in western media reports of the conflict.
The US and the Western powers have an intelligence operation in Syria, but due to the limitations of technology it is not especially well-informed about the situation on the ground. This may be one reason why all requests the Russians have made of the US for intelligence information are refused. Whilst the hostility of the Obama administration and the Washington hawks to Russia plays the dominant role, it is possible US agencies are also reluctant to disclose how little information about the realities of the situation in Syria it actually has.
Though the Western powers and the tame Western media pretend otherwise, there is no doubt control of information in the Jihadi held areas of Syria lies with ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Both are violently anti-Western and any Western journalist entering areas they control would be risking their life. Apart from that, the days when Western media agencies employed large numbers of special correspondents, stringers and war reporters are long gone.
What that means in practical terms is that reports that come out of the Jihadi controlled areas of Syria – including eastern Aleppo – and which appear in the Western media, are reports made at second hand, usually from Jihadist propaganda because TPTB in the west have decided Assad is the guy wearing a black hat so anything even slightly suportive of his government must be lies. Western reporters do not tour the sites of the allegedly bombed hospitals. Rather the Western media is simply passing on reports alleged eye witnesses who are actually ISIS loyalists, and without questioning the substance are reporting them as verified facts. The same applies to Western governments, including the US and UK governments.
There was once a time when the Western media was careful to indicate that it was reporting unconfirmed stories or unsubstantiated allegations, or even reporting stories via a third party. 'Sources in ...' was a common phrase showing a story was not from reports that are entirely reliable or was relying on local sources in reporting the news it was publishing. Such journalistic devices told us news came from one side or another in an armed conflict and shold be read with a certain amount of scepticism.
For quite some time now, the Western media has stopped doing this. Mainstream news is no more reliable that what you read in blogs, on Russia Today or PressTV of Iran, both English language news sites staffed mainly by people whose first language is English. The BBC and CNN are particularly prone to presenting totally biased propaganda drek as factual news. Just look at the coverage of the US election provided by both these organisations.
What this means in the Syrian case is that all the reports of the attacks on the hospitals are provided by persons who to a greater or lesser extent operate under Jihadi control. In northeast Syria that essentially means Al-Qaeda contol.
None of this means that bombing of hospitals or schools has never taken place in Syria or that illegal weapons have not been used. What it does mean is that the scope for terrorist organisations like Al-Qaeda, ISIS and The Obama administration to manipulate the stories is boundless. In any war situation, there is always a high risk that the propaganda of one side or the other will be accepted, unconfirmed accounts of events by one party are often the only information available. However when the parties in question are Al-Qaeda, al Nusra front or ISIS, violent, brutal, internationally proscribed terrorist organisation, it is absolutely certain the reported events will be total fabrication.

Whilst the hostility of the Obama administration and the Washington hawks to Russia plays the dominant role, it is possible US agencies are also reluctant to disclose how little information about the realities of the situation in Syria it actually has.
Though the Western powers and the tame Western media pretend otherwise, there is no doubt control of information in the Jihadi held areas of Syria lies with ISIS and Al-Qaeda. Both are violently anti-Western and any Western journalist entering areas they control would be risking their life. Apart from that, the days when Western media agencies employed large numbers of special correspondents, stringers and war reporters are long gone.
What that means in practical terms is that reports that come out of the Jihadi controlled areas of Syria – including eastern Aleppo – and which appear in the Western media, are reports made at second hand, usually from Jihadist propaganda because TPTB in the west have decided Assad is the guy wearing a black hat so anything even slightly suportive of his government must be lies. Western reporters do not tour the sites of the allegedly bombed hospitals. Rather the Western media is simply passing on reports alleged eye witnesses who are actually ISIS loyalists, and without questioning the substance are reporting them as verified facts. The same applies to Western governments, including the US and UK governments.
There was once a time when the Western media was careful to indicate that it was reporting unconfirmed stories or unsubstantiated allegations, or even reporting stories via a third party. 'Sources in ...' was a common phrase showing a story was not from reports that are entirely reliable or was relying on local sources in reporting the news it was publishing. Such journalistic devices told us news came from one side or another in an armed conflict and shold be read with a certain amount of scepticism.
For quite some time now, the Western media has stopped doing this. Mainstream news is no more reliable that what you read in blogs, on Russia Today or PressTV of Iran, both English language news sites staffed mainly by people whose first language is English. The BBC and CNN are particularly prone to presenting totally biased propaganda drek as factual news. Just look at the coverage of the US election provided by both these organisations.
What this means in the Syrian case is that all the reports of the attacks on the hospitals are provided by persons who to a greater or lesser extent operate under Jihadi control. In northeast Syria that essentially means Al-Qaeda contol.
None of this means that bombing of hospitals or schools has never taken place in Syria or that illegal weapons have not been used. What it does mean is that the scope for terrorist organisations like Al-Qaeda, ISIS and The Obama administration to manipulate the stories is boundless. In any war situation, there is always a high risk that the propaganda of one side or the other will be accepted, unconfirmed accounts of events by one party are often the only information available. However when the parties in question are Al-Qaeda, al Nusra front or ISIS, violent, brutal, internationally proscribed terrorist organisation, it is absolutely certain the reported events will be total fabrication.

It was entirely predictable that right after the Russian air force and the Syrian Army resumed the initiative to push Islamic extremist rebels out of Aleppo and their other remaining strongholds in Syria, western media would start up the anti Assad propaganda again. Sure enough we are now reading claims that the Syrians and the Russians are deliberately bombing hospitals in Aleppo and elsewhere and are using gas and other banned weapons against Obama's beloved 'moderate rebels' (the same moderate rebels that have videoed their enemies, including western journalists and aid workers being beheaded with kitchen knives or burned alive, who have posted online videos of their 'warriors' dismembering the corpses of people who opposed them and eating the raw, bloody and still warm vital organs torn from those bodies, who have taken thousands of totally innocent Shi'ite, Yazidi, Christian and Jewish girls as sex slaves and who have done more than their fair share of shelling hospitals, schools and residential property in areas loyal to Assad.
No one has ever explained why the Russians and the Syrians would intentionally attack hospitals in this way. President Assad has pointed out that it makes no sense and would be completely counterproductive for the Syrians to do so, only serving to generate hostility to his regime among the majority of Syrians who have remained loyal to him throughout the Washington sponsored ISIS uprising.
In any discussion of alleged hospital bombings in Syria, the following must always be considered.

Poison Gas Fired At Government-held Area Of Aleppo By 'Moderate' Rebels

According to as yet unconfirmed reports from Syria, poison gas cannisters were fired at a government-held area of Aleppo earlier today, causing at least 15 people to seek treatment for skin burns and breathing problems.
State news agency SANA reported that “shells containing poison gases” had been fired at the residential district of al-Hamdaniya.
SANA did not report any deaths, but pan-Arab Al-Mayadeen channel stated that at least one person died, while 15 others are believed to have breathing difficulties after inhaling the gas. They are now being treated at the local hospital.
News crews in Aleppo report 36 cases of suffocation.
Al Nusra front Islamic extremists (Obama's moderate rebels, funded and armed by the USA) reportedly used the poisonous gas in an attack on the Assad Military Academy in western Aleppo, as a part of a broader pushback against government positions which was launched on Friday.
It is not yet confirmed what gas was used in the attack, but according to Reuters fighting continues in the area. The head of the political office of the Aleppo-based rebel group Fastaqim denied the report of gas being used in the attack. Syrian state media said militants had fired shells containing chlorine gas at a residential area of the government-held western part of the city, al-Hamdaniya. Rebels denied that, and said government forces had fired poison gas on another frontline.
State media cited an Aleppo hospital director saying three dozen people - civilians and soldiers - had suffered suffocation in the alleged rebel gas attack, but did not report any deaths. There are no reports of ISIS activity in the area but as we now know, all the Islamist rebel groups in Syria are closely linked.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based organisation that reports on the war, said it had confirmed reports of suffocation among government fighters in two frontline areas shelled by rebels, but it did not know if chlorine gas was the cause.The rebels said the army had shelled rebel-held Rashideen district with chlorine and shared videos purportedly showing victims with respiratory problems.
Aleppo, Syria's biggest pre-war city, has become the main stage of conflict between President Bashar al-Assad, backed by Iran, Russia and Shi'ite militias, and Sunni rebels including some supported by Turkey, Gulf monarchies and the United States.

The Real Humanitarian Crisis Is Not Confined To Syria
Contrary to what the propaganda has been telling us for the past thirty years is us the US Democrats rather than the Republicans that are the party of war and imperialism (Image source: Salon)
Every day we hear the hysterical ravings of mainstream journalists, the press whores about the “humanitarian crisis in Aleppo” and of the truly populist politicians like Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton and the minor league players of The New World Order such as David Cameron, Francoise Hollande and Angela Merkel who exhort us to all - join - hands - and - sing - kumbaya in the name of globalism, while surreptitiously leading us towards war with Russia in the cause of corporate profits.
The seige of Aleppo, if it was being honestly reported, is a humanitarian crisis caused by the USA / NATO plot to use NATO sponsored terrorists, (not only ISIS but Al Nusra aka The Free Syrian Army, the human organ noshing, head amputating 'moderate rebels' the war worshippers Obama and Hillary Clinton are so fond of. Because had the western coalition not chosen to intervene in Syrian political affairs, the Syrian civil war would not have happened.
Watching mainstream news you could easily form the impression that Syria's Assad regime is attacking a coalition of peaceful, democratic opposition groups, so biased is the reporting. In reality it was ISIS who attacked first and overran half the country as Assad waited for United Nations support to deal with a terrorist group. When the USA did intervene it was a charade, their air strikes deliberately avoided hitting ISIS and Al Nusra targets in Syria, only genuinely attacking the terrorist group in Iraq, where a US / Wahabbi Muslim puppet government ruled. The ISIS advance in Syria was only checked when Russia's Vladimir Putin and the Ayatollahs of Iran decided to intervene to end the slaughter by US backed terrorists of Syrian Christians, Jews and Shia Muslims.
So the 'humanitarian crisis' as US politicians choose to call it when demonising Russia and claiming the war could be ended in a week if the Russians would only stop bombing civilians, is not a crisis of Russia and Syria's making and could be ended in a week if the USA and it's allies would simply stop supplying ISIS and Al Nusra Front terrorists with arms and ammunition. It is beyond idiotic for US politicians and officials to expect the legitimate government of Syria or any other sovereign state to step down because they are an obstacle to US geopolitical ambitions.
But why are the press whores, if they want to salavage a little credibility, screeching only about the 'humanitarian crisis' in Aleppo and not of the humanitarian crisis everywhere else in Syria, in Libya, Yemen, Afganistan, Iraq, South Sudan, Somalia and everywhere else US intervention has replaced flawed but stable regimes with ragbag governments of gangsters, tribal warlords and religious fanatics? Why are we not talking about the humanitarian crises in all places where the evil that rules in Washington has unleashed its mercenaries and proxy groups to slaughter the Syrian people? Why are we not hearing about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen where the US and Saudi Arabian drones and warplanes are slaughtering Yemeni women and children? Why don’t we hear about the humanitarian crisis in Libya where Washington's intervention (under the current president when the current front runner to replace him was Secretary Of State) turned what was Africa's most prosperous and economicall advanced nation into a failed state with a multi - party civil war reducing life to chaos?
Why don’t we hear about the humanitarian crisis in Iraq, ongoing now for 13 years and where a bid by the US backed Iraqi government to retake the last major ISIS stronghold, Mosul, threatens to create a greater humanitarian crisis than Aleppo And what about the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan now 15 years old, where after the US government withdrew prematurely in 2012, the brutal Taliban are in control of much of the country again?
The answer is that in Aleppo the side backed by Washington is losing, the Assad government which always enjoyed the support of more than 50% of Syrians, with the help of Iranian ground troops and Russian air support is on the brink of victory over the western backed ISIL / Al Nusra terrorists. The jihad sent by Obama and the war - bitch Hillary (“We came, we saw, he died”) to bring down Assad (always Washington's priority - they were never interested in fighting terrorism or saving innocent Shia and Alawite Mus lims are being destroyed. It is a hugely embarrassing foreign policy disaster for Obama and Washington.
So the hysterical screeching about the 'humanitarian crisis in Aleppo', the demonisation of Russia and Iran is just the Obama regime and the tame Western presstitutes trying to save the jihadists by covering them in the blanket of “humanitarian crisis, and save face.”
Such hypocrisy is standard for Washington in particular and western politics in general. If the Obama regime, NATO and the United Nations gave a hoot about “humanitarian crisis,” the Obama regime would not have orchestrated humanitarian crisis in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Yemen, and the United Nations would have sanctioned humanitarian intervention. Because we must remember every US action in Syria had been illegal, the Russians and Iranmians are there at the invitation of Assad, who heads Syria's legitimate government no matter how much Americam 'liberals' hate the fact.
It is shocking and a comment on the disgustingly corrupt, morally bankrupt state of US politics that in the middle of a presidential campaign in the USA and not one major news organisation has asked why the US is determined at the cost of its international credibility to overthrow a Syrian government that is supported by the Syrian people.
No one has asked why the rent boy president, the Cocksucker-in-Chief in Washington thinks he is is empowered to remove the president of Syria by unleashing brutal religious extremist terror groups on the Syrian people.
Washington, of course, has no acceptable answer to the question, and that is why the question is not asked.
The answer to the question is that Washington’s strategy for destabilizing Iran and then the Muslim provinces of the Russian Federation, former Soviet central Asia, and the Muslim province of China is to replace stable governments with the chaos of jihadism. Iraq, Libya, and Syria had stable secular societies in which the government’s strong hand was used to prevent sectarian strife between Muslim sects. By overthrowing these secular governments and the current effort to overthrow Assad, Washington released the chaos of terrorism.
There was no terrorism in the Middle East until Washington brought it there with invasions, bombings, and torture.

President Barack Hussein Obama and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, having effectively ceded not only the middle east but eastern Europe as well to Putin through their complete ineptitude that has seen the USA convene, fund, arm, and train the most effective anti western terrorist group ever, ISIS, for the purpose of overthrowing the Assad regime in Syria and now with Assad still in power after four years of bloody and destructive civil war, as the Syrian army reinforced by Iranian ground troops and back by Russian air support, stand on the brink of victory, the Obama and his anointed successor Hillary Clinton are pushing harder than ever for a shooting war with Russia.

In her strongest attack on Russia yet, Clinton rebuked the country for its bombing of Aleppo, home to some 250,000 people (although the US backed rebels have been shelling residential areas in the government held part of the city for several years) and alleged crimes against humanity. Apparently in Clinton's view opposing the US bid for global hegemony is a crime against humanity.
"There is a determined effort by the Russian air force to destroy Aleppo in order to eliminate the last of the Syrian rebels who are really holding out against the Assad regime," she told the audience at the televised debate.
With blatant dishonesty Clinton said, "Russia hasn't paid any attention to ISIS. They're interested in keeping Assad in power." The second part of that is right, Assad has always been a Russian ally but to say Russia has ignored ISIS shows how far out of touch with reality this war worshipping death junkie is. Russia has defeated ISIS and the equally evil gang of human organ noshing head amputators, Al Nusra Front (Obama's beloved 'moderate rebels'.) She went on. 'I do support the effort to investigate for crimes - war crimes - committed by the Syrians and the Russians, and try to hold them accountable,' she told the crowd. Not a mention of the war crimes, the mass executions, mas rapes, taking of young women as sex slaves and slaughter of Syrian Jews, Christians, Alawite (Shi'ite) and Yazidi Muslims and ethnic Kurds by moderate rebels then? She also alleged that Russia wanted to see Trump in power rather than her.
"But I want to emphasize that what is at stake here is the ambitions and the aggressiveness of Russia," she said. Actually what is at stake is the success or failure of US Geopolitical ambitions.
Now, Mrs. Clinton is a bigger fool than she looks if she thinks a US versus Russia shoot up would be and easy victory for the Americans. Russia, even under the incompetent Soviet regimes was a formidable enemy and now has a far more advanced range of military hardware than the USA (although Uncle Sam is decades ahead on equal rights for gay soldiers). The Democrats (who once under Obama drew a "red line" against Assad, then immediately folded) and only last week promised a military incursion to save ISIS in Aleppo and remove Assad, and again folded when Putin said, "Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough, now see the Syrian multi-party war primarily as an excuse to import more Syrian

Today’s news from the middle eastern front is an Estonian report that the Russian military is sending Iskander-M missiles to Kaliningrad (a Russian enclave on the Baltic coast between Poland and Lithuania.
The Iskander-M system, called SS-26 by NATO, is the replacement of the Scud missile of American Gulf War memory. It has a range of 300 miles and can carry either a conventional or a nuclear warhead. An Iskander-M based in Kaliningrad can strike targets deep in Poland and across the whole Baltic region. Make no mistake, this is primarily an offensive weapons system.

Following the news earlier in the week that Russia had deployed it's highly advanced S300 and S400 (Growler) air defence systems to Syria in response to repeated US attacks on positions held by the Syrian government of President Assad, yesterday’s Russian warning that US aircraft or missiles attacking Syria would be shot down has forced The White House to concede that all plans for military action against the government of Syria have been dropped.
Following diplomatic protocol,these warnings would have been given by the Russians to the US in private before they were made public yesterday.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest confirmed this speaking to reporters on Thursday 6th October 2016 (see video below).
Earnest told a White House press briefing: "The president has discussed in some details why military action against the Assad regime to try to address the situation in Aleppo is unlikely to accomplish the goals that many envisioned now in terms of reducing the violence there. It is much more likely to lead to a bunch of unintended consequences that are clearly not in our national interest."
The US, of course, will never admit that it was the Russian warning that deterred it from carrying out the planned and announced air and missile strikes on Syrian and Iranian forces surrounding the last stronghold of ISIS in Aleppo, and it is still pretending that the option of military strikes is still on the table. As Earnest said, "I’m not going to take any options off the table. I am not going to be in a position [we’re] taking options off the table for the commander-in-chief."
However these are face-saving words. Prior to the Russian warning Obama had been making gung - ho statements and referring to a need to prevent the defeat of ISIS 'on humanitarian grounds'. It is by now well known that ISIS was the creation of the USA, formed, armed and funded by the USA under the direction of President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton, for the purpose of removing the Assad regime which presented and obstacle to US political ambitions in the region.
Military strikes against Syria would have happened long ago had Russia and Vladimir Putin not called Obama's bluff and faced down the American bullying. The fact the Russian military is now physically present in Syria with advanced surface to air missiles and is warning that it stands ready to shoot US aircraft down if the lives of Russian personnel are put in danger has taken the idea of US military strikes off the table.
