New York Times Contacts Reality, Reveals How Zelensky Sabotaged Efforts To Clean Up Ukraines Corruption Problem

by Arthur Foxake

Its always good to be reminded we are ahead of the game so the news from Kiev and Washington this week is particularly satisfying.

A New York Times investigation published last week, (some four weeks after Boggart Blog revealed the same corrupt activity by people associated with the Kiev regime,) has revealed that over the past four years, the Ukrainian government of putative President Vobblyvoddymyr Zelensky has"systematically sabotaged" oversight of the country's state-owned companies and weapons procurement processes, "allowing graft and embezzlement to flourish,"

The NYT investigation, funded by that organisations abundant resources, provides more detail than we were able to offer on how the government of Volodymyr Zelensky sidelined outside experts from the US and EU serving on advisory boards responsible for monitoring spending, appointing executives, and preventing corruption. This is a significant change in the media's reporting, up to now the NYT like all other major news outlets has stuck to the narrative that Ukraine was holding its own against Russia's attack and with enought support from the USA / NATO could eentually defeat Russia and bring down Putin.

From the New York Times

"President Volodymyr Zelensky's administration has stacked boards with loyalists, left seats empty, or stalled them from being set up at all. Leaders in Kiev even rewrote company charters to limit oversight, keeping the government in control and allowing hundreds of millions of dollars to be spent without outsiders poking around," the NYT report says.

The investigation was published amid a corruption scandal centering on close associates of the Ukrainian president enjoying lifestyles of unbelievable excess. One close assoiate of the President fled the country shortly before a raid on his home exposed golden toilets and suitcases full of US Dollar bills. Officials of the NABU Anti-corruption agencky have accused members of Zelensky's inner circle of embezzling $100 million from the state-owned nuclear power company, Energoatom.

"Mr. Zelensky's administration has blamed Energoatom's supervisory board for failing to stop the corruption. But it was Mr. Zelensky's government itself that neutered Energoatom's supervisory board."

In news that has not hit mainstream media yet we have leared the latest finding from NABU's Operation Midas and investigations into the Ukrainian energy sector have revealed that at least $50B was looted from Ukraine and parked in Estonian banks while front line troops were running out of ammunition. There are many implications to this, including major figures in NATO, including Kaja Kallas of Estonia and likely many more, (think Macron, Starmer, Merz...) had to know or even participate in the looting of Ukraine and the kickbacks of monies received from the taxpayers of the US and the EU.

All of that means that Trump is walking a tight-rope on ending the war, exposing the graft and keeping HATO intact. I don't see a way that he can simply walk away when the war is completed with a Russian victory without disrupting the current European paradigm in a major way.

As long as Zelensky and his cronies hang on, with support of France, Germany and Britain, the more likely it is that Trump is going to have to expose the fraud, call out major leaders and consider dissolving NATO. Frankly, I don't see how he can end the war without exposing the rotten core of the Ukrainian gangster state and shaking the EU to its neo Nazi foundations.

Dutch Referendum This Week Shows why We Should Leave The EU.

Scene from the Ukraine civil war, is this what we want in Europe?

Few of you were aware probably that there is an EU referendum vote in The Netherlands this week. As usual with anything negative about the EU barely a word has been printed in the topic in mainstream media and the silence from our notionally unbiased national broadcaster The Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has been deafening.

The Dutch referendum is not an IN/OUT question like the one we will vote on in June this year, but is officially about approving the EU's 'association treaty' with Ukraine which was negotiated in 2014 soon after the democratically elected government of Ukraine was replace by right wing extremist CIA puppets. Some in mainstream media have claimed that the civil war that has been going on in Ukraine for two years was started by Russian secret service agencies in response to the move to draw Ukraine into the EU and NATO in violation of a 1991 treaty with Russia, but in fact the conflict was provoked by America's neo - Nazi puppets in Kiev embarking on an ethnic cleansing program.

The European Union’s association agreement with Ukraine is more than a simple free trade deal; were it only that then the break down in relations between the Ukraine and Russia would probably have been avoided. The deal actually involves the EU in the reform of Ukrainian institutions and laws is all about paving the way for the Ukraine to become a full member of the EU.

It introduces wholly unnecessary military links with the European Union by establishing military dialogue, technological co-operation and the possibility of joint participation in EU missions.

Making Ukraine an associate EU member naturally includes visa free travel throughout the EU that would open the door to Ukraine’s 44 million people in addition to the visa free travel recently granted to Turkey’s 85 million (including Kurds) inhabitants.”

The Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, and by extension, the pro Ukraine lobby in Washington, is alarmed by the Eurosceptic feeling that is rising in the Netherlands and throughout Europe, telling a Washington, D.C. meeting last week: "The real purpose for the internal Dutch discussion is about the future of the European Union and internal political clashes… I think this is very dangerous for a country … to become the victim of this discussion. This is not a timely referendum."

What Poroshenko and his puppeteers in Washington clearly fail to understand is that it is eff all to do with them what democratic decisions are made by Dutch voters. The vote is being held as a result of public pressure in The Netherlands as reported by the Financial times. Opinion polls suggest a majority of voters are opposed to establishing links between the EU and Ukraine.

"Dutch opinion is divided 50-50," pro-EU activist Bogdan Globa told the Kyiv Post in March, "But it’s more likely that the Dutch will say ‘no’ to Ukraine. Too many of them are still afraid of the war in the east of Ukraine. They also think Ukraine could be another Greece."

Voters in The Netherlands are also worried about the undemocratic direction the EU is heading in and the fact that full membrership is being fast tracked for Turkey and Georgia. At least Ukraine is demonstrably a European nation. Turkey is in Asia, apart from the small enclave around Istanbul while the Europeanness of the Caucasian nations is dubious to say the least. We have reported elsewhere on the ambitions of the Brussels bureaucratic dictatorship to extend the European Union into Asia and Africa.
