While the money and political elites are turning up the climate change scareorator way past eleven once more in order to keep populations in a state of fear now that the COVID scare is crumbling, the finger of blame for the doomsday scenarios predicted by climate mathematical models is as usual being pointed at We The Ordinary Punters.

"WE are all in this together and YOU must make sacrifices to save the planet," warn political leaders, clueless academics and the billionaire psychopaths who have bought control of politics, academia and the media. And few people stop to question why WE must make sacrifices while THEY continue to fly round the world in private jets, cruise the Mediterranean or Caribbean in luxury yachts that are more like floating palaces that leisure craft, and live in floodlit, air conditioned palaces that consume more energy than a middle sized town.

Well some of us do question, we are known to the majority as either online journalists or 'conspiracy theorists' depending on a reader's politics, and to the politicians, academics, billionaire psychopaths and people on their payrolls as "that bunch of awkward, really obnoxious bastards who refuse to believe 'The Science' and insist on challenging oppressive policies devised 'for the greater good.' 

Thanks to us bunch of awkward, really obnoxious bastards, and the statistics nerds at Statistia it is now becoming widely known that the world's richest ten percent are responsible for an estimated 47 percent share of global CO2 emissions. This has been revealed by a recent study published in the journal Nature Sustainability, which focused on how tackling poverty worldwide would affect emissions of CO2, the harmless but demonised gas without which life is not possible but which has unscientifically been blamed for all the mathematical models of climate related catastrophes in the past thirty years. As Statista's Florian Zandt shows in the chart below, the difference between the poorest and wealthiest people not only shows in their emission share.

ad the lower 50 percent income group only produces about  ton of CO2 per year compared to approximately 48 tons per capita of carbon dioxide emitted by the wealthiest one percent.

Of course, the results are different depending on the region. In Europe, USA, Canada or Australia for example, the bottom 50 percent had a higher estimated share of total emissions than the top ten percent, while the top one percent in Sub-Saharan Africa were responsible for more carbon emissions than the bottom 50 percent.

Combating poverty (a goal only committed virtue signallers would see as realistic,) around the world would require an unprecedented level of cooperation between nations and present logistical challenges of a scale never before envisaged, its effects on global warming would be minimal according to the study. Lifting over a billion people above the official poverty line under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 1 would only raise the estimated global CO2 output by roughly two percent, even though carbon emissions in low to lower-middle income countries in Sub-Saharan Africa  and South East Asia could potentially double.

However the top ten per cent are unlikely to make sacrifices to reduce their gigantic footprints, and while the high to middle income groups of the developed nations are more likely to respond to the manipulative propaganda of behavioural scientists, even their scope for making a difference is tiny compared to emissions generated by manufacturing industry, transport and agriculture.

The status quo response would be amusing if the consequences weren't so dire.

Rather than stare at empty shelves, you have two options for distraction: you can don a virtual-reality headset and cavort with dolphins in the metaverse, or you can trade various forms of phantom wealth that always go up (happy happy!) because the Fed.

Neither distraction actually solves any real-world problems, a reality we can call the Revenge of the Real World We've entered a peculiar phase in American history in which illusions of wealth and control are the favored distractions from the unraveling of the real world economy and social order.

Printing trillions of currency units can't restore the global supply chain or social cohesion, Rather, jacking phantom wealth to the moon is only accelerating the collapse of the social order and the economy even as it accomplishes absolutely nothing in terms of solving real-world problems.

Let's start with the core economic realities of the 21st century:

1. The number of high-consumption ("middle class") people doubled from 1 billion to 2 billion. The human populace has expanded to 7.9 billion individuals, but poor people who don't have enough money to consume large quantities of energy, goods and services delivered by the global supply chain don't have much of an impact on global consumption of energy and resources. It's the number of people jetting around the world playing their part in the landfill economy (toss the old one, buy a new one) who drive "growth" (i.e. waste is growth).

Strangely enough, there are actual physical limits to resources being transformed into junk being dumped in the landfills. Humanity's rapacious appetite for stuff has extracted all the cheap-to-extract resources and now all that's left are the increasingly expensive-to-extract resources.

It is on record that none of the contributors to this blog have much time for recently elected French President Emmnuel Macron. Macron has been criticised for claiming Africa's perpetual humanitarian crisis is due to 'civilisational problems' and women in tribal societies having "seven or eight children" hampering social and economic development in African nations.

Addressing a session of the the G20 summit, the French President was questioned by a reporter from former French colony Ivory Coast on the possibility of implementing a policy like America’s Marshall Plan for rebuilding Europe after the Second World War to kick start economic development in African nations.

“The problems Africa face today are completely different {to those of Europe after World War Two] … and are ‘civilisational’,” Mr Macron told the journalist. "What are the problems?" he went on. "Failed states, tribalism and extremely difficult demographic transitions.”

“It’s by a more rigorous governance, a fight against corruption, a fight for good governance, a successful demographic transition when countries today have seven or eight children per woman,” Mr Macron added. "At the moment, spending billions of euros outright would stablise nothing. So the transformation plan that we have to conduct together must be developed according to African interests by and with African leaders."

In a far reaching reply, Mr Macron also identified issues such as Islamist terrorism, drugs and weapons trafficking and human trafficking.

But an edited clip of his response being shared on social media has since provoked outrage, with the kind of loony left activists who set Hamburg alight accusing the French President of blaming women for poverty, being a Nazi and, inevitably, racism.

Guardian Reports Minimum Wage Reduces Earnings – Is The Left Seeing Sense.

It has long been known (since the chaos that followed the failure of the Speenhamland Poor Relief System in the late eighteenth century, that attempt to help 'the poor' by imposing a minimum wage will not only fail but will end up lowering wages and causing low earners even greater hardship.

Only lefties and socialists denied this because not matter how many times we cite the economic hardship and widespread suffering that resulted from socialist policies in nations like Stalinist Russia, Maoist China, Nazi Germany, Pol Pot's Cambodia and Tony Blair's Britain to name but a few, the lefties respond that those countries did not implement 'real socialism', but when challenged they are not capable of defining what is meant by 'real socialism'. Instead they usually say things like 'equality and diversity', 'mass immigration and multiculturalism' or 'all join hands and sing Kumbaya.'

But even the left are waking up to the realities of economics and human nature it seems, as this report in the UK's most left wing newspaper, The Guardian, illustrates:

Employers claw back living wage in cuts to perks, hours and pay

From fish factories in Grimsby to coffee shops in central London and even Waitrose supermarkets, workers across the country are seeing perks and pay rates cut as companies try to offset the cost of George Osborne’s national living wage.

On Monday, just over two weeks after the new minimum pay rate of £7.20 an hour for over-25s came into force, MPs will debate the effect the 50p rise in basic pay has had on thousands of workers.

In the past few weeks the Observer has learned of companies withdrawing overtime and Sunday pay, bonuses, free food and paid breaks in order to keep the wage bill down.

Siobhain McDonagh MP, who called the backbenchers’ debate, said: “When the chancellor announced the national living wage, he said: ‘Britain deserves a pay rise and it’s getting one.’ I took him at his word on that. People should get a pay rise, not a pay cut.”

The left admitting that one of their sacred cows does not work, in fact it achieves the opposite of what it is intended to do is a major step towards restoring sanity to the political systems of developed nations. It has taken a long time, I have been saying this very thing in blogs and online publications for ten years.

Black Belgians Refute ‘Poverty, Discrimination’ As Causes Of Arab Terror - It's A Cultural Thing

African residents of Brussels have refuted claims made by 'white-hating', 'left wing' cultural Marxists who support the destruction of European culture through mass Muslim immigration, that local Muslims are drawn into terrorism because of “poverty” and “discrimination”. Belgium's non Muslim black minorities blame cultural values for the prevelance of religious extremist and sex crime among Muslims.

“You know, we hear a lot about how the Arabs are a fragile community that suffers, but we, ‘les blackies,’ are discriminated against, too, and we hurt nobody”, Nico Atoba, an African Christian living in Brussels told the National Post a Canadian newspaper.

As Mr. Atoba points out, any alleged “discrimination” faced by Arabs is surely faced by black Africans too. Furthermore, Matonge, the Congolese quarter of Brussels from which he was speaking, is easily as run down as the Muslim areas.

Muslim dominated Molenbeek, however, has become know as the ‘European capital of Jihad’, and has produced numerous Islamic terrorists who went on to commit the Paris and Brussels attacks.

According to many left wing academics and publications “poverty” and “discrimination” are a major factor driving such men towards hate and violence. Left wing academics are, however, largely responsible for the political brainwashing of schol pupils and university students that has led to the idiotic situation where we have young people in the 16 - 25 age group becoming racist, but against their own race, and thus prepared to take sides with dark skinned interlopers whose sectarianism (not just against Christian Europeans and sub - saharan Africans, but Hindu's and orientals) is documented down fifteen hundred years of history.

The pursuit of 'open doors' mass immigration policies by national governments and the EU bureaucratic dictatorship, backed by the brainwashed generation, added to social leaders being in total denial about the fact that mixing people of incompatible cultures is bound to lead to race related tensions, has led to the growth of many Muslim majority ghettos across Europe, most notably in Germany, Sweden and France.

“Molenbeek, Belgium's most notorious Muslim ghetto, has been in trouble for years. Poverty levels are high, and street and drug crime are common… These problems go hand-in-hand with a bleak outlook for residents”, The Atlantic reported last November, continuing: “As of January this year, 350 Belgian residents are known to have joined ISIS in Syria—a minuscule fraction of the country’s Muslims, but nonetheless more per capita than any other state in Europe. This trend can in part be explained (albeit, of course, not justified) by conditions in places like Molenbeek”, the aryicle claimed.

So why is it that non-Muslim, but equally discriminated and disadvantaged, Africans are not seeking to kill and attack Westerners?

“There are a lot of victims in Belgium but you can’t always be playing with victimization and use it as an excuse to justify going out and harming others”, a female African migrant in Brussels, who did not wish to be named (for reasons that should be obvious even to brainwashed cultural Marxists) told news reporters.

A report coming in from North Carolina, USA, shows what a lot of bollocks the news of economic recovery we in the west are fed really is. Here is a story of a woman who was so hard up she shoved a can of dough up her chuff so her family could eat. And that terrorist loving, warmongering idiot Obama tells his country the economy is doing well and the USA can afford to wage wars on every little country that pisses him off? Don't believe it, Americans are starving. People are desperate (you have to be desperate to steal cookie dough, if someone can't afford to steal a family size pizza or Lasagne they are trult below the poverty line.

The 34-year-old mother of 3 is now under arrest after an alleged shoplifting incident turned tragic. Witnesses say Shatuanee Greene entered the North Carolina Walmart on Sunday with her three children ages 5, 7, and 8 when she grabbed a can of pre-made Christmas cookie dough. CCTV footage shows the young mother take the can to the toy aisle as her children crowded around her. Greene then lifted up her skirt and made the can of cookie dough “disappear.”

When Greene was approached by Walmart security, she told her children to go find their Aunt in the front of the store. “I told her to hand over the cookie dough,” said Timothy Reiner, a security guard at Walmart. “That’s when she turned around to run and I grabbed her by the arm. She put up a good fight, and that’s when I tackled her to the ground. Then I heard a loud pop and the lady started screaming. Gooey cookie dough was running down her leg. All hot and runny… it was so damn gross.”

According to eyewitnesses, the EMT that treated Greene on the scene said the Pillsbury cookie dough can exploded in Greene’s vagina during the fall causing her extreme pain. They removed the contents at the scene. The woman was treated then released into the custody of Greenville police. A police spokesperson said, "Greene told us she had just wanted to make some anchovy flavoured cookies for the kids dinner."

The action in this war on free speech has shifted to Britain - The Editor In Chief of the left wing Guardian newspaper has been virtually accused of treason for telling the truth about governments spying on their own citizens accused.
The right to free speech is under threat from intolerant, authoritarian elitists.  They pay lip service to left wing ideas like fighting poverty and working for peace but are actually more authoritarian in their political outlook than Hitler or Stalin. Their goal is absolute power and they know that while the right of free speech, the free press and free access to information exist they cannot succeed.

In politics the left is not about global government, it is about small government and maximum freedom for individuals. big government is fascism.
