Britain’s oldest and one of its most prestigious universities has come over all Brack Obama and yielded sanity and academic impartialityto politically correct bigotry from a National Union of Students (Special Snowflake branch)campaign with rejoices in the title, ‘Why is my curriculum white? The snowflakes who are mainly white themselves but are too thick to have noticed that, are protesting against the alleged “Eurocentrism” of history teaching.

"The education we receive at many universities is one that has been largely shaped by colonialism,” asserts the National Union of Students-backed campaign. “It is one that places white, Eurocentric writers and thinkers above others without much concern."

Umm ... WRONG! The history curriculum in most British universities is based on British and European history over the past three thousand years, colonialism was only a small part of that.

The University of Oxford, which has also advised its constituent colleges to drop the use of “gender-specific” titles like Mr. and Mrs. after the students’ union told undergraduates to use the pronoun ‘ze’ in place of ‘he’ and ‘she’, will now replace European history examinations with a compulsory exam centred on black, Middle Eastern, Indian, and other Asian history, The Times reports.

Martin Conway, who chairs Oxford’s history faculty board, claimed changes intended to “bring in diversity in terms of the teaching of history” were prompted by a consultation with students, “quite a few” of whom were active in the ‘Rhodes Must Fall‘ movement.

"Consultation with students"? That's like asking nutters to advise on finding a cure for madness.

Oxford’s theology department was recently restructured so students could graduate without studying Christianity at all after their first year.

The move comes just one month after the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) Students’ Union complained that a “white curriculum” at the University of London felt “othering”, “alienating”, and “erasing” for many BME undergraduates.

Really? In that case out of consideration for their '#black' sensibilities we should advise them to fuck off and study at the University of Bongo Bongo land or somewhere simliar.

In a report titled ‘Degrees of Racism’, the union demanded more "research on whiteness" (?) and more black and minority ethnic faculty members, due to the alleged inability of white professors to relate to BME students.

"Both of my tutors are white men,” complained a black student quoted in the report. “How can I have a rapport and feel comfortable talking to a 60-year-old white man?" Somebody should have told the brainless little cunt, "You're not there to be best mates with your tutor sonny - boy, you're there to fucking learn.

Meanwhile, race-based campus activism is also stirring controversy in the U.S., where students at Evergreen State College barracked left-liberal biology professor Bret Weinstein and demanded his resignation after he opposed a ‘day without white people on campus’ event.

UK University Offers Tutorials On ‘Dealing With Right-Wing Attitudes in Class’

It has long been known that our universities are the petri dishes of the Cultural Marxist revolution. No doubt those neo - fascist who 'identify' as left wing think of such places as crucibles of their revolution, but a crucible is a vessel in which extreme heat is used to create altered states and Cultural Marxism is cold, slimy and toxic, the kind of thing creepy scientists intent on causing mayhem would create in a secret laboratory concealed in the empty magma chamber of an extinct volcano. And the lefties, with their anti - liberty, anti - free speech, anti - democratic agenda are getting creepier.

It the lastest example of how close to Stalinism leftists now are, the University of Sussex has been getting a lot of well earned flak for suppressing right-wing points of view after hosting a seminar purporting to teach students how to “deal with right-wing attitudes in the classroom”.

Critics claim the seminar, organised by a leading professor at the University, reveals the systemic political bias in British higher education.

Spokespersons for the National Union of brainwashed morons Students (NUS) mocked the claims however, suggesting the right wingers referred to are those extremists identified in government anti-terror programs were the real persecuted group on campuses. This is exposed as being disingenuous by the facts that:
a) Islamic extremists have never been referred to as right wing
b) Left wing students and dossers have always referred toi criticism of Islamic extremism as 'Islamophobia' and generally shown themselves to be well disposed towards Islamic hate preachers, while willing to deny opponents of Islamic fundamentalism

“Boohoo, a right winger feels marginalised. Meanwhile, activists are served with injunctions and referred to Prevent”, wrote Shelly Asquith, NUS Vice President of Welfare, on Twitter.

Although the NUS claims to speak for millions of students in the UK, most members support only extends to paying their subs in order to benefit from prices in the union bar. In fact several universities have recently disaffiliated from the Union after they elected a radical left wing president who has been found guilty of anti-Semitism in an internal report.

Not every staff member or student representative at Sussex is a nutter. Dan Hough, a politics professor, posted a picture of a poster for the event on Twitter, captioned: “Perhaps we should just talk about, analyse and then evaluate all positions in any given debate, no?” Such reasonable attitudes are not fashionable in the UK education / indoctrination system however,

Professor Alan Smithers, head of the center for education and employment at Buckingham University, told The Telegraph it is “alarming” that such workshops were taking place.

“The university is letting its prejudices show if it is conflating right-wing opinions with homophobia and racial prejudice,” he said.

“It is very sad the way universities are going. Within universities there has always been a spectrum of views and one of the pleasures of universities is having them rub against each other.

“That is what university is about – enabling its students to think widely and critically and come to their own views crucially backed by evidence.”

This is correct, but as our blogs have shown again and again, this demonization of non - Marxist/globalist views can be traced to organisations linked to the billionaire financial trader George Soros who has quite openly stated his aim is to destroy western civilisation and create a global, authoritarian government. And so the capitalism hating leftie students have duped themselves into hating the uber capitalist.

Harry Howard, a third-year History and Politics student, said he was “shocked and angry” to find there is a “worrying aversion” to right wing opinions at the university, adding, “universities should be intellectually diverse, rather than echo chambers of left wing opinion”.

Sheeple Take Over Higher Education

After Donald Trump’s election, the howls of outrage emitting from universities in the Snowflake higher Education franchie corporation became deafening. Faculty members predicted the end of the world and thousands of classes were cancelleed because students felt too triggered to face even the highly diluted reality of their 'creative journalism with free dance' courses but simply hugged each other, repeatedly asking: How could this possibly be in the most politically correct nation on the planet?

Now I think the world had a lucky escape when America's electoral system rejected Hillary Clinton of The Clinton Crime Syndicate and Cappo Di Tutti Cappi of the Democratic Party, having decapitated anyone who stood in the way of her gaining the nomination President-elect Trump is not the most enthralling prospect (although there are signs he will be a hands - off president, content to delegate day - to day stuff) but the reaction of university staff and students bodes ill for the future of the USA and is further evidence of how detatched from the realities of everyday life universities have become. When students are encouraged to live in progressive bubbles and 'safe spaces' when they are protected from ever hearing working class voices using working class language, they might be filling their heads with lots of theory and pseudo - scientific bullshit but learn nothing about life and how business, government and human societies work in different political environments around the world. To be fully educated, indeed fully conscious students should encounter not Karl Marx, but also Milton Friedman.

Liberals have been highly adept at highlighting the hypocrisies of Trump, but has there ever been a more hypocritical candidate than Hillary Clinton (HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE). Liberals scream and shout about multiculturalism and diversity, but anybody who does not conform to the monoculture that exists on college campuses is ostracised and diversity is limited to differing skin colours only. Ideological and political differences are met with levels of bigotry and self righteousness that even Nazis would have objected to. Many surveys studies have found that about 10 percent of staff in social sciences or the humanities are Republicans and many stories have circulated of professors and lecturers being forced out of their jobs because they introduced ideas that did not conform to the dogma of politically correct thinking.

Democrats and liberals champion tolerance, but would deny (and in some colleges have denied) the right of free speech to conservatives and evangelical Christians. Thus they show a willingness to be inclusive of people who don’t look like us, so long as they think like us.

Liberal hostility to the Trump’s presidency will only turn up the volume in the liberal echo chambers of social media to eleven, thus creating a more hostile environment in which to try and discuss intelligently the issues we face. Already, the lack of ideological diversity in all levels of education and in the public sector is damaging national life. Left wing political rhetoric has long since collapsed into self-parody.

Some say that it’s O.K. to be intolerant of intolerance, to discriminate against bigots who acquiesce in Trump’s record of racism and misogyny. Standing up to the bigots is one thing but are the originators of intolerance not those who caricature half of Americans, some of whom voted for President Obama twice, as racist bigots simply because they believed the Democrat's candidate had too many question marks over her integrity and competence? Do the alternative reality dwelling denizens of America's higher education system know enough Trump voters to offer such generalised opinions of them.

The favourite argument of the Obama and Clinton supporters against intellectual diversity is that conservatives have nothing to add to the conversation. “The idea that conservative ideas are dumb is so preposterous that you have to live in an echo chamber to think of it,” conservative thinker Cass Sunstein said.

Of course, we shouldn’t empower racists and misogynists on campuses. But whatever some liberals think, “conservative” and “bigot” are not synonyms. If fact, though bigot has become the favourite pejorative of the left, from Obama downwards, few who use it truly understand what it means, preferring to believe the word describes those who differ from what is clearly correct in the eyes of all sane and educated people.

Hollande Survives Confidence Vote As France Slides Deeper Into Chaos

French President Francois Hollande suvived a 'no - confidence' vote today but now faces deepening divisions within his own party as well as in the French population.  Continuing mass protests by students and trade union members showed the battle of over his reforms to the country's labour laws are far from finished. Hollande has hardened opposition to his reforms after bypassing the French parliament to push them through.

The President (le petit crapaud) proposed reforms to the highly complex French labour laws – known as the Code du Travail – in order to give employers more flexibility.

The no-confidence motion proposed by conservatives in the lower house of the French Parliament fell 42 votes short of the 288 required for victory, but with twenty four members of Hollande's socialist party voting against him, he will take no comfort having survived the attempt to unseat him. The outcome will further deepen divisions within the socialists.

Holland now has to decide what disciplinary action he is going to take against the rebels within his party – including former ministers Benoit Hamon or Aurelie Filippetti.

 The labour reforms were largely directed at making companies take on more workers on permanent contracts, rather than temporary ones, a trend caused by European Union labour laws which make it almost impossible to fire an unsatisfactory worker. by pushing the laws through Hollande also hoped to bring down the unemployment rate from ten percent. The proposals would grant employers more flexibility to lay-off workers and and allow employees to work far longer than the current 35-hour week, and thus swell their pay packets through overtime pay.  France's 35-Hour Week Under Threat as Presidential Hopefuls Signal Change

Other reforms include a cap on severance pay for workers dismissed by a company. The current cost of sacking workers mean that companies are risk-averse to doing so, leaving them less flexible and – in some cases – less productive. Employers are also more likely to contract out work to non EU nations such as Algeria, India, Vietnam and Indonesia. Opponents say the reforms would undermine workers’ rights on pay, overtime and breaks.

Any reforms to French law would normally have to pass to the upper house of the French Parliament, where the Republicans have a majority, paving the way for a political ping-pong match, but Hollande's Prime Minister Manuel Valls has won cabinet approval to invoke the rarely-used Article 49.3 of the constitution which allows the reform bill to bypass parliament.

This immediately brought protest from opponents who accused Hollande of behaving like a socialist dictator caused riots in Paris, Nantes and Bordeaux. Hollande is set to face further strikes and protests in what is becoming a major stand off between government and people.
