Quakes Shake Rattle and Roll The Pacific
A VERY strong earthquake initially reported as 6.8 on the Richter scale though that was later amended to 6.5) occurred in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Calfornia earlier today. The quake, in the "Cascadia Subduction Zone" 100 miles west of Ferndale. According to seismologists monitoring the area this is where "the big one" that will send a lot of high value property sliding into the water around San Francisco, will begin if it happens, and a 6.5 quake could be a signal that there's more to come!
According to the US Geological Survey, the quake struck at 9:50 AM eastern US time (0650 local time) at a very shallow depth of only 12 km. In 2015, a group studying the region released a study of the potential damage of such a quake hitting now.
Initially a Tsunami concern existed but the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has reported NO TSUNAMI from this earthquake. (Report below)
There is grave danger that today's quake may be a "foreshock" and that it signals the coming of a much stronger, horrific, earthquake, within the next few days. Such a catastrophic quake can now be triggered in the Cascadia subduction zone because today's quake has destabilized the region. People on the US west coast are URGED to prepare for such a potential emergency by storing food, water, batteries for flashlights and radios, fueling up their cars in case evacuation is necessary More >>>
Later reports from the area, of a second, weaker quake hitting the same area, are as yet light on detail. The second earthquake struck along the exact same fault line as the 6.5 magnitude shaker The second quake, a smaller magnitude 4.7, stuck at a shallow depth of only 3.7 km and did so west of the initial M6.5, which means the instability is traveling west . . .toward the major Cascadia Subduction Zone main fault!!!! UPDATE:
Hours after reports of a magnitude 6.5 earthquake off the California coast came in, we now have reports of a larger, magnitude 8.0 earthquake near The Solomon Islands. Minutes after the earthquake struck, its intensity was lowered to still strong magnitude 7.7 shake.
Unlike the smaller earthquake that was recorded off the California coast, there are chances of large Tsunami waves with this quake. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a tsunami warning for several islands across the Pacific Ocean. According to data from the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake struck at around 17:38 a.m. GMT,4:38 a.m. Friday local time. The epicenter of this quake was located around 130 miles southeast of the city of Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands. USGS data also revealed that the quake took place at a depth of 25 miles.

France Falling Apart As The World Looks On
Something I've always liked about the French is their flamboyance and love o drama. Unlike Germany and Sweden where the locals prefer to remain silent and tight lipped about the social chaos wrought by cultural Marxist governements and their whacko attempts at social engineering, their open doors immigration policies and their obsession with social justice to minorities that inevitably lead to the majority suffering appalling injustices, with the french it's all out there.

What is reality in France today?
Violence. It is spreading. Not just terrorist attacks; pure gang violence. It instills a growing feeling of insecurity in hospitals, at schools, in the streets -- even in the police. The media does not dare to say that this violence is coming mainly from Muslim gangs -- "youths," as they call the in the French media, to avoid naming who they are. A climate of civil war, however, is spreading visibly in the police, schools, hospitals and politics.
On October 18, when Jean-Marc Falcone, director-general of National Police, met the leaders of the protest, he was surrounded by hundreds of police officers urging him to resign.
The main cause of their anger seems primarily the violence often directed against police, and terrorist attacks. On the terrorist level, two policemen were stabbed to death in Magnanville in June 2016 by a Muslim extremist, Larossi Aballa. This spring, more than 300 police officers and gendarmes were injured by demonstrators. In May, police unions demonstrated in the streets of Paris to protest "anti-police hatred."
This autumn, the last straw was an attack on a police patrol in the Paris suburb of Viry-Châtillon. Four officers were injured when a group of around 15 "youths" (Muslim gang-members) swarmed their cars in the town and hurled rocks and firebombs at them. Two policemen were badly burned; one had to be placed in an induced coma. The same scenario took place a few days later: a police patrol was ambushed in another no-go zone in the "sensitive" area of Val-Fourré.
Police were also aggrieved by Bernard Cazeneuve, the minister of interior, who called the attackers "sauvageons" ("little wild ones"). Police and opposition politicians replied that the attackers were not "little wild ones but criminals who attacked police to kill."
"Police are seen as an occupying force," declared Patrice Ribeiro of the Synergie Officiers police commanders' union. "It is not surprising that violence is spiking."
On October 18, Le Figaro launched an online poll online with one question: "Do you approve the protest by policemen?" Ninety percent of the 50,000 respondents answered "yes."
Since then, police demonstrations have spread to other cities. More than a month after the start of the discontent, police officers were still protesting in every big city. On November 24, two hundred police officers demonstrated in Paris between Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, to express their "anger." Police in civilian clothes, some wearing orange armbands, some hidden under a scarf or hood, supported by citizens, gathered in the evening at the Place de la Concorde, before walking the length of the Champs Elysée up to the Arc de Triomphe, where they formed a human chain around the monument and sang La Marseillaise (France's national anthem).
This revolt of one pillar of French society, the police, was the biggest that ever happened in modern France. Yet, virtually no one in France's mainstream media covered the event.
One month later, the daily Le Monde held a meeting with several students, The goal of this meeting was to try to understand the cause of the violence in in Tremblay. Yacine, 21, a student at the University of Paris II, said: "This is a warning. These young people did not attack the school by chance; they wanted to attack the institution, to attack the State."
Argenteuil (Val d'Oise, suburb of Paris): A teacher at the Paul Langevin primary school, was beaten up in the street, on October 17, while leading children back to school from tennis courts a kilometer from the school. After hearing the teacher raise his voice at a child, two young men stopped their car, told the teacher he was a "racist" and beat him in front of the children. According to Le Parisien, one of the attackers justified his actions by accusing the professor of "racism". "You are not the master," said the man. "The only Master is Allah".
Colomiers (Toulouse, south of France). A physical-education teacher was assaulted by a student on October 17, when the teacher tried to stop the student from leaving the school through a prohibited exit.
Calais (Pas-de-Calais): Two students at a vocational training school in Calais attacked a teacher, and one fractured the teacher's jaw and several teeth on October 14, according the local paper, Nord-Littoral. The students attacked the electrical engineering teacher because he had asked one of the students to get back to work.
Saint-Denis (Seine Saint-Denis, suburb of Paris): On October 13, a school headmaster and his deputy were beaten by a vocational student who had been reprimanded for arriving late.
Strasbourg: A mathematics teacher was brutally attacked on October 17 at the Orbelin school. The headmaster of the institution told France Bleu that a "youth," who is not a student at the school, had beaten the teacher. This was not the first time that the "youth" had entered the building. Earlier, when the teacher asked him to leave his class, the "youth" delivered several blows to the teacher's face before fleeing.
All these attackers were not terrorists, but like Islamic terrorists, they apparently wanted to destroy "attack the institution, to attack the State."
In the same area of La Bourgogne, there was a riot on October 4. Fourteen cars were burned and 12 people arrested. The riot, which lasted for four nights, broke out after the arrest of a driver who did not stop when asked to by a policeman.
President François Hollande is currently under fire after the publication of a book, A President Should Not Say That... In it, he is reported to have said, "France has a problem with Islam," and "there are too many migrants in France" -- remarks Hollande claims he never made. On October 16, fifteen individuals accompanying a patient sowed terror in the emergency department of Gustave Dron Hospital in Tourcoing, according to La Voix du Nord. A doctor was severely beaten; another pulled by the hair. Doctors and nurses told the newspaper they were still in shock. Said a nurse:"Ten people forced their way into the heart of the ER. The doctors asked them to leave... When everything stopped, I realized that the ER was ravaged, patients terrorized, relatives of patients crying."The attackers were from the district of La Bourgogne, an area essentially populated with North African immigrants. Three people were arrested.

Police came to protect the right of Mr. Nekkaz to pay the fine. The companies will share ‘hashes’ – unique digital fingerprints they automatically assign to videos or photos – of extremist content they have removed from their websites to enable their peers to identify the same content on their platforms.
“We hope this collaboration will lead to greater efficiency as we continue to enforce our policies to help curb the pressing global issue of terrorist content online,” the companies said in a statement on Tuesday.

Wikileaks Exposes Sinister Links Between ISIS and Turkey's President Erdogan

Hate to say it again but we told you so. Over a year ago, before Russia intervened in the middle east conflict and thus when the US backed brutal Islamic terrorists of ISIS and Al Nusra seemed unstoppable as they rampaged through Syria and Iraq raping, torturing, taking women and children as sex slaves, amputating limbs and heads, burning western journalists and aid workers and being general cunts we detailed how the family of President Erdogan in Turkey was profiting from illegal oil trade with the terrorists, and how the USA and its ally Saudi Arabia were supplying terrorists with arms and ammunition using Turkey as an intermediary to ensure their Sunni Muslim extremist proxies could carry on the war to oust the secular Assad regime.
As usual western media only gave you FAKE NEWS about what was going on in Syria (which is why, in the dying days of his failed presidency, Barack Obama is involved in covert moves to censor the web ans alt - media). Now, as has become the norm, Wikileaks has confirmed that as usual the 'conspiracy theorists' were telling the truth and the globalist establishment friendly mainstream media were peddling pure propaganda.

Albayrak?s emails seem to confirm the not-so-recent accusations, since the energy minister is appealing to be the “unofficial” owner of the oil company Powertrance which is importing oil from the Isis land in Northern Irak to Turkey.

Quitaly Begins: Italy referendum: ‘People don’t trust establishment, want big changes’
The defeat of Italian Prime Minister Renzi's in Sunday's referendum on constitutional reform, though not a surprise in the way that Brexit and Donald Trump’s win in the US Presidential election, show that people are not happy with their government’s performance, don’t trust the elite and want more radical reforms, says Italian journalist, Marcello Foa. Renzi had been an ardent pro - European even though he is a vocal critic of the EU's immigration and austerity policies, and has called for Italy to take back control of its own finances.
The reforms in Renzi's proposals would have made it more difficult for the upper house in Italy's national assembly to veto laws put forward by the administration, thus making it easier for pro - EU federalisation governments to impose changes to legislation demanded by the unelected bureaucrats of the EU's ruling European Commission.
On the defeat of his referendum proposal being announced, Renzi immediately resigned, saying his government's position had become untenable. The defeat was by a substantial margin with about 60% of votes cast going to the NO campaign, led by satirist and comedian Beppe Grilo's Five Star movement. At least the globalist propagandists of mainstream media cannot honestly describe Five Star as 'extreme right wing'. While the movement may be opposed to uncontrolled mass immigration, further surrender of sovereign powers to EU bureaucrats in Brussels and continued membership of the single currency system (The Euro), the main points of their policy positions (the Five Stars) put them to the left of the UK Labour Party, France's Socialists, Germany's Social Democrats and the USA's Obmacrats.

As was the case with Brexit and Trump, Italy's populist movement, which is made up of Five Star and the more conservative but equally anti - establishment Liga Nord, is hard to pigeonhole in the simplistic categories of left and right or conservative and liberal. In many ways, it is easier to define by what it is not rather than what it is. Italian populism sees itself as Euro-skeptic, anti-establishment (whether left or right) and anti-corruption.
When Beppe Grillo founded the Five Star Movement (M5S), the standard-bearer of Italian populism, was so-named because of the five causes it originally espoused: public water, improved transportation, sustainable development (not in the narrow sense of subsidised wind and solar energy, but sustainable agriculture and a less consumerist culture,) free internet access and environmentalism. These are hardly right-wing causes, but nor are they the agenda of the Italian centre - left political establishment which supports European federalism, globalism and an economic model based on infinite economic growth.
After M5S scored major victories last June, winning mayoral races in Rome and Turin as well as over a dozen other cities, it established itself as Italy’s most significant opposition force. Its rise in popularity has continued unabated ever since.
“The propaganda of the regime and all its lies are the first losers of this referendum,” said Beppe Grillo, “Times have changed.”
Virginia Raggi, Rome’s M5S mayor, called the referendum outcome a victory for democracy, tweeting that “our revolution will not stop, in Rome and in Italy.”
Renzi had to resign because the referendum, which most Italians saw as a chance to express their distate for Renzi and the European Union, was his initiative.
Italian journalist Anna MazzoneMazzone argues that the majority of Italians would prefer the government to focus on other things rather than amending the constitution. The country’s economy “is suffering” she said, and “almost three million Italians” live in poverty; addressing these problems should be a priority for authorities.
“The solution could be to focus on the problems, instead of other things like the constitution, for example. This government failed because it proposed a lot of reforms like the Jobs Act,” Mazzone told RT. The labor reform proposed by Renzi was known as the Jobs Act was “not effective” in sorting the problem of unemployment as “34 percent of young Italians still cannot find a job,” she added.
Another Italian journalist, Marcello Foa, argues that Matteo Renzi, who had been very popular at the beginning of his time in office, “was promising too much” but didn’t fulfill many of his promises.
“A large part of the population doesn’t trust him anymore,” he told Russia Today. Mainly the referendum was about people deciding between giving “this kind of prime minister” more powers or keeping unchanged “the constitution, which has been very reliable and affordable for many years,” he said.

Violence In Libya The Worst In Two Years
If you read this blog and other New Media news and opinion sites you will be well aware that the 2011 regime change operation 'led from behind' by Barack Hussein Obama, ostensibly for the purpose of removing Libyan dictator Muammar Gadaffi and replacing him with w western style, gay friendly, immigrant loving liberal democracy, having removed the dictator, only succeeded in turning the country which under him had been the most prosperous and socially advanced on the African continent, into a chaotic failed state, torn by a tripartate civil conflict.
Thus you will not be surprised to hear that in spite of western efforts to stabilise Libya, fighting between the factions in the civil war is escalating once more after a lull.
Middle eastern and north African news agencies report that clashes between tribalists, ISIS affiliated groups and a western backed group claiming to be the legitimate government are continuing for the second day among heavily-armed militias in the Libyan capital, with one dislodging another in at least two posts, a five-star hotel and a barracks.
Competing militias have established power centres in Tripoli after longtime dictator Muammar Gaddafi, Libya's ruler for 42 years, was ousted by a bombing campaign engineered by Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, leaving behind a power vacuum as there was no organised opposition ready to take over. As usual the arrogant idiot Obama, a friend of extremist Sunni Muslim regimes in the middle east, assumed that Libyans would accept him as leader of the free world and fall into line with his wishes.
Most of Obama's political training had been gained in the gay bath houses of Chicago. He had no experience of the real world and of how communities interact in trouble in the spots of Africa and the middle east.
This is the worst outbreak of violence in the capital in two years, though there has been heavy fighting in the east of the country around Benghazi and in the sparsely populated south where ISIS have their main strength.
Witnesses in Tripoli told reporters that gun battles rocked the southeastern Nasr Forest district and adjacent neighbourhoods. The lastest spate of clashes started on Thursday and have reportedly killed at least eight, according to news agency LANA. During a lull in the violence late on Thursday night, panicked residents could be seen lining up outside petrol stations to stock up on fuel. In a statement Friday, UN envoy to Libya Martin Kobler called for halt to the fighting, saying he is "extremely alarmed". He ought to be, a previous US envoy in Libya was anally raped and beaten to death by a mob after Obama refused to send help. Kobler will have to hope Donald Trump displays more testicular fortitude in dealing with Islamic brutality against westerners.
"It's completely unacceptable for armed groups to fight to assert their interest and control, particularly in residential areas, terrorising the population," Kobler said.
The UN-backed (and predictably ineffectual) unity government said that a ceasefire agreement has been reached among warring militias but revealed no further details. Given the fluidity of the situation, it remains to be seen whether the victors of the clashes will back the internationally-recognised body.
"This is a struggle over power. Each of the warring parties has its political and ideological agendas," said Sami al-Atrash, a Tripoli resident and a legal expert. "The clashes are belated. They were expected at any moment and finally happened," he said.

They Thought It was All Over On 11/9
The votes are counted, the electoral college delegates apportioned, and President Elect Trump is travelling the world promoting bad haircuts. It should be all over, American voters thought it was all over, but it isn't yet. The US Presidential election 2016 is now the subject of numerous court battles and lawsuits.
US Green Party candidate Jill Stein said her campaign will appeal to a federal court on Monday to seek a state-wide vote recount in Pennsylvania, hours after dropping a lawsuit in a local court, saying the cost of the lawsuit was too high. Stein's bid, in collaboration with Hillary Clinton's campaign team (The Clinton Crime Syndicate) to overturn the result of the presidential pool, won by Donald Trump has run into legal obstacles in all three states where Stein has requested recounts.
“Make no mistake – the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a state-wide recount in Pennsylvania. We are committed to this fight to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans,” Jonathan Abady, the lead counsel for Jill Stein’s recount bid, said in a statement on Sunday.
“The barriers to verifying the vote in Pennsylvania are so pervasive and that the state court system is so ill-equipped to address this problem, we must seek federal court intervention,” the statement added.
As a result, Stein is expected to file a new lawsuit with a federal court to demand a state-wide recount “on constitutional grounds,” Abady added.
In an earlier statement the Stein campaign announced that the Pennsylvania lawsuit was dropped after the Commonwealth Court demanded a $1 million bond from the 100 state residents who had brought the suit backed by the Greens.
"Petitioners are regular citizens of ordinary means. They cannot afford to post the $1 million bond required by the court," attorney Lawrence Otter’s letter to the state court said, according to Reuters. Perhaps the bond requirement is to prevent frivolous or malicious requests such as Stein's from wasting public money.
"The judge’s outrageous demand that voters pay such an exorbitant figure is a shameful, unacceptable barrier to democratic participation," Stein herself said, stressing "no voter in America should be forced to pay thousands of dollars to know if her or his vote was counted." Stein has not actually presented any evidence to provide grounds for suspicion that significant numbers of votes were not counted.
Stein also launched recount initiatives in Wisconsin and Michigan after a renowned computer expert alleged that the election results could have been hacked, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The Trump camp, in turn, pointed to Stein’s failure to provide any evidence indicating that the state’s electronic voting machines had malfunctioned.
“There is no evidence – or even an allegation – that any tampering with Pennsylvania’s voting systems actually occurred,” a complaint by Trump’s lawyers read. The recount efforts may dash the hopes of some Democrats, who believe finding irregularities or missing votes in all three states may be enough to reverse the presidential election results that saw Republican candidate Donald Trump prevail over Democrat Hillary Clinton.
It is widely suspected that the tactics being used by the Clinton campaign and the Soros Foundation are not aimed at overturning the result but intend to deprive Trump of the electoral college vote on December 19 because recounts in the three states will not be complete. If this tactic were to succeed, the likely outcome would be a complete collapse of law and order in the USA.

As the attempt to block Donald Trump's ascent to the US presidency by humiliated Green Party candidate in the US election, Jill Stein, blunders on, making lawyers rich and the USA look even more ridiculous in the eyes of the world, an unexpected relevation this weekend shines a very different light on Stein's willingness to act as a proxy for The Clinton Crime Syndicate in their fraudulent attempts to overturn the election result and usurp the presidency using lawyers' trickery.
As Jill Stein continued her efforts to raise raising $7 Million dollars to fund her fight against legal barriers put in place by the Attorney's General of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, the three recount states, to her efforts to demand a hand recount (thus making it easier for Clinton supporters to incorrectly reassign votes) for a recount, we have lwaened Mainstream Media sources have admitted that George Soros, the billionaire communist who likes to meddle in the political destinies of nations has this week personally donated $10 Million to fight Trump.
Jill Stein just moved her recount fund raising goal from $4 million to $7 million. It is not certain where the rest of the Soros money has gone but Soros funds many anti - democratic 'charities' such as Black Lives Matter, Move On and Democracy Alliance so it is reasonable to assume these groups will be involved in efforts to destablised US society. One hopes, for the sake of ordinary Americans, that President Trump will banish Soros from US territory and order the winding up of all organisations linked to his operation, as Vladimir Putin banished Soros and his cronies from Russia earlier this year.
Supporters of The Clinton Crime Syndicate, Barack Obama, the US Democratic Party and other 'progressive groups' will scream this is a violation of the right of fre speech. However, in no democratic nation does the right of free speech include the right to forment rebellion.

Migrants Insulating Themselves From European Culture
Immigrant communities in Germany, especially in Muslim dominated areas, are becoming more isolated and resisting attempt to encourage integration with western society according to a new study.
The biggest contributory factor in current wave of lawlessness and civil unrest in Muslim areas, and the increasingly confrontational situation between recent migrants and Germans has been the inability of the German government to properly integrate migrants from the Middle East, North Africa and elsewhere into German society.
These uneducated and often illiterate immigrants are not only virtually unemployable, they seem to think they can cling to Sharia Law and other values and traditions of their homeland which are totally incompatible with European secular values. This is particularly apparent in their attitude to women. Many of these migrants think it is OK to rape a woman who goes out in public wearing a short skirt, or with her head uncovered.
The study, carried out by by the German Association for Housing and Urban Development (VHW), shows that migrants, especially those of a lower income bracket, are becoming less integrated and some outright reject the culture of Germany entirely according to a report in Die Welt .
The study, titled "immigrant worlds in Germany 2016," looks at migrants within the major cities and municipalities of the country and shows many migrant groups choosing to isolate themselves rather than establish links with those of other backgrounds. Bernd Hallenberg, who works for the VHW, said, “The migrant milieus are developing apart.” Many migrant communities are retreat into themselves on a social and cultural level, refusing to mix with people of other cultures and refusing to tolerate the values of other cultures.
The study shows a trend of migrants, who once saw themselves as Germans, identifying more with the ethnic and cultural background of their origin. A similar study carried out in 2008 by the VHW shows a trend among migrants to Germany towards segregation, rather than integration.
It is not helpful when academics such as sociologist Annette Treibel publicly state that Germans should integrate into migrant culture and adopt the bahaviour and lifestyles of migrants to make the newcomers feel more welcome in Germany. Similar proposals have been made by other academics who see the idea of an overarching German culture as “proto-fascist” notion. They have called for mandatory Arabic lessons for Germans in the public education system. Such interventions are seen by German nationalists as fanning the flames of civil unrest.
Germany is set to spend € billions on the integration of new migrants per year, but if the VHW study is any indication, the money may be largely wasted. Some more conservative and nationalistic academics have urged the German government to take a radically different approach and encourage the further ghettoization of migrant groups. While this is popular with rank and file voters, the political and social establishment are horrified by such ideas and dismiss them as racist.
An even more radical proposal was made by Salafist expert and Green party member Kurt Edler who said that Syrian asylum seekers shouldn’t be expected to integrate into German society and should instead be given their own city, which he called a “New Aleppo.” The glaring folly of that idea is it takes the first step towards the disastrous development of establishing a state within a state.

Political Bias Of Leftist Professor Who Wrote The 'Hit List' Of "Fake News" Sites

The mainstream media are going wild circulating a viral list of so-called “fake news” websites – and the list includes established news sites like WND, Zero Hedge, Breitbart, Red State, the Daily Wire and Project Veritas – but WND has found a leftist, Trump-bashing assistant professor in Massachusetts who specialized in “fat studies” is behind the effort to target and discredit legitimate news organizations.
Meet Merrimack College Assistant Professor Melissa Zimdars, a 30-something self-identified feminist and activist who has expressed great dislike for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence.
She’s only actually held her teaching position at the private college in North Andover, Mass., for 15 months.
Zimdars published and circulated a list of “fake, false, or regularly misleading websites that are shared on Facebook and social media.” She said she began writing the list because she didn’t approve of the sources her students were citing.
The problem?
In addition to some satirical and bogus sites, her list attacks the credibility of well-established news organizations such as Breitbart, BizPac Review, Red State, the Blaze, the Independent Journal Review, Twitchy, the Daily Wire, WND and James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. In many cases (such as with her WND listing), she offers no explanation for why the news organizations were included on the list.
Mainstream media outlets such as the Los Angeles Times circulated Zimdars’ growing list. The Times headlined its story, “Want to keep fake news out of your newsfeed? College professor creates list of sites to avoid.” The Times offered no details concerning Zimdars’ qualifications or background. News organizations such as CNN, the Washington Post, Boston Globe, New York Magazine, USA Today, Business Insider, the Austin American-Statesman, the Dallas Morning News and others spread the list like gospel and cited it in their reports.
But nearly none of them considered Zimdars’ political leanings or questioned her criteria or qualifications for determining which news sources should be included on her list.
Zimdars teaches courses in radio, production, mass communication, feminist media studies, television criticism and new media and digital communication. She received her doctorate in communication and media studies just last year.
Zimdars has not responded to WND’s request for clarification on her expertise or criteria for deciding which news sources to include on her list. WND asked Merrimack College President Christopher Hopey if he stands by Zimdars’ decision to publish the list and use it as teaching material for her classes. However. Merrimack Vice President of Communications Jim Chiavelli replied, “Thanks for your question to the president about professor Zimdars pedagogy. The college has no comment for this story.”

In response to the list, PJ Media’s Stephen Kruiser wrote, “It’s no surprise that a college professor compiled this list; what’s galling is that the Los Angeles Times ‘reported’ on it without mentioning that it’s complete garbage.”
Sean Hannity’s website warned that Zimdars’ list includes “mainstream conservative sources” and “is giving us insight into just what kind of websites the left plans on targeting for censorship.”
In addition to her new job as an assistant professor, Zimdars is also a columnist and contributor for Little Village Magazine – a left-leaning magazine that says it’s focused on issues such as “racial justice,” “gender equity,” “critical culture,” “economic and labor justice” and “environmental sustainability.”
Her Twitter profile describes her as a “feminist” and “activist.”
Zimdars’ social-media accounts are protected from public view, leading tweeter Vanessa Beeley to note that Zimdars “can’t take the heat. Named ‘fake media’ & then protected all her own media sites.” But Newsbusters found tweets from Zimdars harshly criticizing President-elect Trump and Vice-President elect Mike Pence during the vice-presidential debate in October.

The mainstream media are going wild circulating a viral list of so-called “fake news” websites – and the list includes established news sites like WND, Zero Hedge, Breitbart, Red State, the Daily Wire and Project Veritas – but WND has found a leftist, Trump-bashing assistant professor in Massachusetts who specialized in “fat studies” is behind the effort to target and discredit legitimate news organizations.
Meet Merrimack College Assistant Professor Melissa Zimdars, a 30-something self-identified feminist and activist who has expressed great dislike for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence.
She’s only actually held her teaching position at the private college in North Andover, Mass., for 15 months.
Zimdars published and circulated a list of “fake, false, or regularly misleading websites that are shared on Facebook and social media.” She said she began writing the list because she didn’t approve of the sources her students were citing.
The problem?
In addition to some satirical and bogus sites, her list attacks the credibility of well-established news organizations such as Breitbart, BizPac Review, Red State, the Blaze, the Independent Journal Review, Twitchy, the Daily Wire, WND and James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. In many cases (such as with her WND listing), she offers no explanation for why the news organizations were included on the list.
Mainstream media outlets such as the Los Angeles Times circulated Zimdars’ growing list. The Times headlined its story, “Want to keep fake news out of your newsfeed? College professor creates list of sites to avoid.” The Times offered no details concerning Zimdars’ qualifications or background. News organizations such as CNN, the Washington Post, Boston Globe, New York Magazine, USA Today, Business Insider, the Austin American-Statesman, the Dallas Morning News and others spread the list like gospel and cited it in their reports.
But nearly none of them considered Zimdars’ political leanings or questioned her criteria or qualifications for determining which news sources should be included on her list.
Zimdars teaches courses in radio, production, mass communication, feminist media studies, television criticism and new media and digital communication. She received her doctorate in communication and media studies just last year.
Zimdars has not responded to WND’s request for clarification on her expertise or criteria for deciding which news sources to include on her list. WND asked Merrimack College President Christopher Hopey if he stands by Zimdars’ decision to publish the list and use it as teaching material for her classes. However. Merrimack Vice President of Communications Jim Chiavelli replied, “Thanks for your question to the president about professor Zimdars pedagogy. The college has no comment for this story.”

In response to the list, PJ Media’s Stephen Kruiser wrote, “It’s no surprise that a college professor compiled this list; what’s galling is that the Los Angeles Times ‘reported’ on it without mentioning that it’s complete garbage.”
Sean Hannity’s website warned that Zimdars’ list includes “mainstream conservative sources” and “is giving us insight into just what kind of websites the left plans on targeting for censorship.”
In addition to her new job as an assistant professor, Zimdars is also a columnist and contributor for Little Village Magazine – a left-leaning magazine that says it’s focused on issues such as “racial justice,” “gender equity,” “critical culture,” “economic and labor justice” and “environmental sustainability.”
Her Twitter profile describes her as a “feminist” and “activist.”
Zimdars’ social-media accounts are protected from public view, leading tweeter Vanessa Beeley to note that Zimdars “can’t take the heat. Named ‘fake media’ & then protected all her own media sites.” But Newsbusters found tweets from Zimdars harshly criticizing President-elect Trump and Vice-President elect Mike Pence during the vice-presidential debate in October.
