Trump's Latest Actions Trigger 'Threat To Democracy' Warnings From His Undemocratic Opponents.

 Since Donald Trump 'triggered' hypersensitive liberals and progressives (aka communist seditionists,) by activating the California National Guard against the protest of the governor, and then bringing in US Marines – both of which his critics argue are unconstitutional – is certainly provocative and possibly, in part at least, a theatrical stunt by the president to show who is in charge fotr the benefit of Governors in Democrat run states who think they can derail the Trump presidency. The street protests in Los Angeles were the result of his ordering a crackdown on illegal immigrants to the state, where for decades a far left state government has been actively encouraging illegal immigration.. You could be forgiven for thinking he deliberately provoked the alleged “rebellion” in order to humiliate California leaders.

It is worth noting that The Appeals Court ruled today that Trumps use of the California National Guard was legal, which is a bit inconvenient for those who would brand him a tyrannical dictator. In fact his action against illegal immigrats in California was a response to the state government's refusing to enforce federal law, and encouraging lawless among minority communities. 

Added to that, from the moment Trump announced his intention to run again for president, the Democrat Nomination Committee mobilised prosecutors, judges, the left media et al in a lawfare campaign against him. That is where the real threat to democracy  in the USA resides. Fortunately the American public saw through it.  

Trump is currently attacking California Democrat controlled state legislature on several fronts, shrewdly judging that the extremist Governor Gavin Newsom among all Democrat politocians was most likely to react unreasonably. Newsom duly obliged by orchestrating the pro - immigration riots that disrupted Los Angeles and other cities a couple of weeks ago. He is stripping the state of its powers under the Clean Power Act to impose tougher pollution rules than federal levels. He has signed an order blocking California’s plan to phase out petrol cars by 2035, and another stopping it capping nitrogen oxide emissions. He now is threatening to withhold federal disaster aid for wildfires.

Trump, in typical style called Newsom  “Governor Newscum” and added : “You know, hatred is never a good thing in politics. When you don’t like somebody, you don’t respect somebody, it’s harder for that person to get money if you’re on top.”

The end of American democracy comes not when we allow a Donald Trump to get away with process violations, but when we allow anyone to do so.

But the elites have been more than happy to live with that sort of thing, as long as it was Democrats doing it. As long as the ship was going to the way they wanted it to go.

Donald Trump has done some things that are not acceptable. The California Guard thing is not one of them, but others are. But if you call him out on those things, and ignore Democrats when they do so, then you are not aprincipled son of liberty, you are a partisan and a hack.

What (and who) Is Really Behind the LA Riots

The rioting in Los Angeles we have all seen on TV news or read of in print or online would not be possible without orchestration by the traitor class and their army of useful idiots, the vitue signalling woke brigade. Not all of these people rioting are of foreign descent as has been implied by mainstream media, and the involvement at organisational levrel of certain seditionist groups is all too apparent. Then then there are treasonous organ grinders like Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, who despite being responsible for the maintenance of order in the state, has actually been inciting violence in a bid to swing public opinion against President Trump.

But too many people are still blind to what the globalist left are doing. LA, where the current disorder behan, has been a major hub of far left insurrectionism for a long time.

As long ago as the 1950s French philosopher Albert Camus said the reason he first got in trouble, and was cast out of the left-wing literary world of Paris, is because he noticed what no respectable person is supposed to notice today: namely, the displacement of native peoples and their traditions by foreigners. Camus had made clear that the “great replacement” of the natives has occurred because the elites of these nations have long engaged in what he calls the “great deculturation”—that is, the systematic devaluing of what is our own. If the peoples of the West knew what they had, and loved it, they would have defended it. But most of them do not.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is one of the elites of whom Camus speaks disparagingly. Newsom, often discussed as a potential Democratic presidential candidate in 2028, gave a televised speech in which he denounced President Trump as a lawbreaker who is a threat to democracy. Meanwhile, similar protests are breaking out across the United States—and, as is usual with the Left today, they are turning violent. 

 Newsom accused Trump of “assaulting democracy” by federalizing the California National Guard and deploying them to stop the rioting. What? The president wishes to enforce laws made by democratically elected members of Congress. What insanity it is to praise lawbreakers—illegal migrants—and those rioting to protect them from accountability before the law!

It has now become, almost overnight, an issue of sovereignty. The United States is deeply polarized. If you live in Europe and only read European media, or major U.S. outlets like The New York Times, you will probably believe that Trump is the cause of all this. But the fault for the crisis lies with the politicians, intellectuals, journalists, and others of the ruling class who have allowed the intolerable migration problem to fester for decades, and who denounced as racists and xenophobes anyone who noticed and spoke out about it. 

One big reason Donald Trump’s political career began, and why he was returned to the White House last November, is that too many Americans had grown sick and tired of the flim - flammery  from the political class when asked to comment on the concerns of working and middle class Americans. They want the nonsense, the reverse racism, the queering of society, the transgender nonsense  to stop. If it takes a crude man like Donald Trump to do what the establishment-approved politicians will not, fine. If the choice is between surrendering one's freedom and individuality or Trump, then Trump wins every time

Moss Landing Fire: In California One Of The World’s Largest Lithium Battery Storage Facilities Goes Up In Flames

 MOSS LANDING, Calif. — New agencies report a massive fire is destroying the Vistra Energy battery storage plant in Moss Landing, one of the biggest such facilities in the world. The blaze, which reportedly broke out late on Thursday afternoon, has sent clouds of hazardous black smoke and toxic gases into the atmosphee, prompting evacuations, road closures, and a significant emergency response effort.

The plant is a cornerstone of California’s clean energy strategy, its huge capacity to store energy from intermittent 'renewable' sources is a key component in the whacko state’s transition rush to net zero. This is not the first fire at the Moss Landing site facility which was was expanded in 2023 to hold 750 megawatts of electricity, enough to power thousands of homes.

Lithium battery fires are notoriously difficult to extinguish due not only to the high temperatures the materials burn at and toxic gases they emit, which pose risks to respiratory health, skin, and eyes, but also to the chemical nature of the reaction which does not respond to conventional fire fighting methods. 

All staff at Moss Landing were safely evacuated, and emergency teams are working to contain the blaze within the plant’s concrete structure. Officials have stated that while the fire is extensive, it is “contained” to the building​​.

. Previous incidents in 2021 and 2022 were attributed to sprinkler malfunctions and system flaws, causing heightened scrutiny of battery storage safety. These incidents prompted California Governor Gavin Newsom to require battery plants to develop emergency response plans with local fire departments​.

As authorities investigate this latest incident, concerns are rising over the safety of such facilities and their proximity to populated areas. This is a developing story, with updates expected as more information becomes available.

What we know so far is he fire is located in the northern part of the sate some 300 miles (500 km) north of the wildfires in Los Angeles. The plant contains tens of thousands of lithium batteries, which can be extremely difficult to put out if they go up in flames.

“There’s no way to sugar coat it. This is a disaster, is what it is,” Monterey County supervisor Glenn Church told KSBW-TV. But the fire is not expected to spread beyond the concrete building it is enclosed in, he added. Highway 1, located nearby, has been shut down by authorities.

The plant is around 100 miles (160 km) south of San Francisco, and the blaze is unrelated to the ongoing wildfires in the southern Californian city of Los Angeles, which started around 10 days ago.

This news is oce more likely to raise qustions about the safety of lithium battery technology. There are several ways in which  lithium fires can pose more risk to people and property than other types of building or vehicle fires. 

Thermal runaway is the most common issue with fires started by spontaneously combusting lithium-ion batteries. This is where the internal temperature of the battery quickly rises, usually because a damaged cell has overheated, generating more and more heat which in turn damages adjacent cells, createing a self-sustaining cycle. 

It’s a rapid process and comes with such high temperatures that it can be difficult to tackle in the same way as a normal fire — water is especially dangerous to use for this fire type due to the creation of flammable hydrogen gas when it reacts with lithium.

Some lithium batteries can also release oxygen as they burn, adding more supply to the fire and intensifying the situation, even when there is little oxygen outside of the battery itself. This makes it hard to starve the fire of oxygen, a common tactic for other fire types.

The speed at which a lithium battery can overheat also risks explosions, something seen in waste management facilities when people have improperly disposed of their devices in regular waste collections. 

Volatile and unpredictable, it’s easy to see why lithium-ion battery fires have earned a distinct reputation within the fire safety community.

The proponents of green energy “wind/solar plus storage” systems do not seem to like specifying storage capacity properly in Watt-Hour units. This leads to uniformed folks assuming there is far more energy than there really is. Reports say this facility provides energy stored during the day for use overnight which might lead some to conclude that it can provide 750 MW for 12 hours or more (I.e. 9,000 MWH). However, it has been more common for these systems to be rated based on 4 hours of delivery.   We learn from the facility owner's website the plant can provide backup of 750 MW and 3000 MWh So it follows that its rating is based on 4 hours of duration. Not much backup for 'thousands of homes' (or one Big Tech AI data centre,) considering periods of dunkelflaute in Europe this winter have lasted for over a week in some areas.

The Moss landing facility is, in fact, rated at 3,000 MWH. But many systems are only designed to provide frequency stability support to balance wind/solar short term fluctuation and may only have enough capacity to provide a few minutes of rated output.

Just When You Think We Had Reached Peak Crazy - Man Dressed As Bear Wrecks Rolls Royce In Insurance Scam

 

California has seen its share of insane behaviour and of bears breaking into cars (but usually only to steal picnic baskets, Boo Boo.) But the bears recently caught on camera entering luxury cars tipped off insurers that something wasn’t quite right.

In what has been dubbed “Operation Bear Claw,” the California Insurance Department said four Los Angeles residents were arrested on Wednesday (13 November 2024), ad charged with of defrauding insurance companies out of nearly $142,000 by claiming a bear had caused damage to their luxury vehicles.

The trio are accused of providing video recodings shot in the San Bernardino Mountains in January of a “bear” busy tearing apart the insides of a Rolls-Royce and two Mercedes to the insurance companies as part of their damage claims, the department said. Photos provided by the insurance department show what appeared to be scratches on the seats and doors.

On viewing video of the Rolls-Royce, an assessor for one of the insurance companies suspected that he was looking not at a mischievous bear, but a human in a fancy dress shop bear costume.

A biologist from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, sent by the state Insurance Department to review the three videos, concluded it was “clearly a human in a bear suit,” the insurance department said.

After executing a search warrant, detectives found the bear costume in the main suspects’ home, the department said.
