Furious French Farmers Stage Shitfest Protest In Toulouse

European farmers' protests spread to France as the shit hits the fan for EU leaders.

Putain de merde! A citizen looks on whilst farmers dump copious amounts of cattle related agricultural waste and rotting vegetables outside a government administrative building as they take part in a protest against taxation, declining income and difficult work conditions, in central Toulouse.

 

Inspired perhaps by the protests of farming communities in Germany and Netherlands, angry French farmers gathered in the historic city of Toulouse, South - west France this week and dumped piles of farmyard manure on the steps of City Hall and in the streets and squares in fron of other public buildings. Such shitfest protests are a favourite tactic of French farmers when they want to let their government know its policies stink. This latest demonstration of dissent from farmers is part of a movement creeping across Europe which aims to let the EU ruling commission and governments of the 27 member states know their latest batch of green policies which will limit the amount of diesel farmers can use to power tractors and self propelled implements, the amount of nitrogen based fertiliser that can be used and the amount of methane any farm unit can emit in the form of cow farts. is totally out of ordure (oops, pardon.)

The Toulouse protest, which according to spokesmen for French farming communities, will be just the first of an ongoing campaign which will follow a similar path as those in Netherlands and Germany.

The farmers' action will, they claim, continue until the government backs down over agricultural policy changes which the farm say will cause them to face increased costs and curtail productivity  leading to independent farmers going out of business. 

Nearly 400 tractors and 1,000 farmers from across southwest France converged on the city after rallying before dawn at meeting points across the region.

They made their way into Toulouse in the early morning ensuring traffic chaos throughout the rush hour, honking horns and pulling trailer-loads of hay and manure as they moved into city center, blocking entire lanes on some roads and causing gridlock in the main business and shopping areas.

Around 1,000 farmers gathered at the central Capitole square on foot, and a delegation was scheduled to meet the local police chief later in the day. So far the outcome of that meeting, if it took place, has not been reported.

The protesters say increased taxes and social charges are causing hardship for farmers across the region. The tax hikes and other fees come on top of increased costs for fuel and animal feed, and a general rise in the cost of living across the country as well as restrictions on agricultural activities imposed by the EU as part of its push for 'net zero'.

Elsewhere in the region, farmers targeted large suburban supermarkets, dumping manure in their parking lots. The farmers say many big supermarket chains refuse to pay fair prices for their produce.

Tuesday's protests followed a number of demonstrations in the region last November, as farmers fear for their livelihoods.

Thousands Of Tractors Blocks Berlin Traffic Over Plan To End Diesel Subsidy

 

Thousands of German truck drivers, farmers, and agricultural workers parked in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin yesterday as another massive protest over the government's 'green' plans to end tax breaks on diesel fuel and subsidies to farmers prevented from getting the best out of their land by loonytoons EU 'rewilding' policies.

 Tractors and other farm vehicles started to arrive for the protest on Monday and by Tuesday 3000 were within Berlin city limits according to police, who said that another estimated 2,000 were on their way in the biggest display of disaffection with the government so far after a week of protests. Berlin Police Chief Barbara Slowik told municiplal leaders that a total of 1,300 officers were engaged in crowd control.

Major disruption to local bus and train services reported by Berlin's public transit agency, after around 10,000 people registered for demonstrations against the plan by Chancellor Olaf Scholz to cut subsidies.

As if trying to provoke escalation of the protsts to civil disobedience, Finance Minister Christian Lindner (Green Party) told crowds of farmers that the country has run out of money for further subsidies. The government announcement is part of a plan to try and fix a 17-billion-euro (US$18.6 billion) hole in Germany's 2024 budget, AP reported last week.

"I can’t promise you more state aid from the federal budget," he said, adding "But we can fight together for you to enjoy more freedom and respect for your work." It was not what the farmers wanted to hear.

The head of the farmers union, Joachim Rukwied, snatched the microphone from Lindner to ask the crowd to stop booing, telling them: "I have respect for every politician who is prepared to come to us ... The finance minister is here, it makes no sense to boo him."

Of course, the government also justified the cuts as 'required' after the country's highest court annulled an earlier decision to redirect nearly US$66 billion originally meant to mitigate fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic in order to combat climate change and modernize the country.

According to a press release from the office of Chancellor Scholz, "we took the farmers’ arguments to heart," adding that he thinks the government has arrived at "a good compromise."

Not according to the farmers they didn't.

‘We will return illegal immigrants to their homeland. By the millions’ – AfD politician vows

 

The Alternatif fur Deutschland  (AfD) party has been making a big deal of its policy on “remigration” in the first weks of the new year, focusing primarily on migrants convicted of crimes whom Germany has been unable to remove because of European Human Rights law. 

AfD politician René Springer says the plan is no secret and vowed to deport millions should the AfD come to power.

“We will return foreigners to their homeland. By the millions,” he wrote on X. “This is not a secret plan. This is a promise. For more security. For more justice. To preserve our identity. For Germany.”

However, although there are hundreds of thousands of migrants who are “tolerated” in Germany, the figure of millions presented by Springer seems rather fanciful.

In a statement earlier this week, the AfD detailed a long list of offenses involving migrants during New Year’s celebrations, including the case of three migrants knocking a doctor unconscious on video in a Berlin hospital, a 20-year-old Somali beating a woman with a fire extinguisher on a train near Schwetzingen, and a Ukrainian migrant hitting a 46-year-old with a bottle in Bad Lippspringe.

“Everyday life in the federal republic. Such everyday conditions are shocking and make it clear: 2024 must be the year of remigration! Anyone who vandalizes restaurants and train stations, attacks doctors, or riots on trains has no place here and must be deported immediately. Action must finally be taken,” wrote the AfD in its statement.

Some X users have taken a victory lap over AfD’s surging poll numbers.
“New Forsa surveys! AfD Saxony: 37%, AfD Thuringia: 36%, AfD Brandenburg: 32%. Do you finally understand it, dear old parties and old media? It doesn’t bother us that the AfD wants #Remigration. On the contrary, we – and more and more Germans – are voting for the AfD BECAUSE they want remigration!” wrote one user.”

Although AfD  are rounting the globalist, mainstream opposition in the polls we have to be a bit sceptical about this latest claim. I think what one wishes for and what is actually achievable are two different things most of the time. But wouldn’t ”remigration” by the million be awesome and an inspiration to citizens of other country's being taken overrt by unwanted, uneducated, unemployable immigrants in the elite's 'great replacement' project?

German Farmers' Day Of Protest Causes Chaos Nationwide

As yesterday's Boggart Abroad story predicted Greman farmers today launched a week of protest when hundreds of tractors and agricltural vehicles invaded the city and blocked streets and main roads in protests against proposed cuts to the agricultural budget which would been reduced subsidies to farmers. The farmers piled on the misery for Chancellor Olaf Scholz's fragile coalition coalition as it struggles to hold together a fragile coalition which includes the Green Party who want to abolish farming altogether and go back to a hunter - gatherer economy (that may be an exaggeration, but only a slight one,) and the Free Democrats, a pro - business party which supports market economics and unrestrained capitalism.

The government is also trying to contain the burgeoning popularity of the AfD (Alternatif fur Deutschland,) and anti - open borders and EU sceptic party, having failed to dent AfD's ride by smearing them as 'far right'. The calition's latest move it that they have, somewhat idiotically, put in motion moved to have AfD banned as a danger to democracy, thus identifying the governing coalition itself as a danger to democracy.

Convoys of tractors and trucks today gathered on roads around Berlin and most of the 16 federal states, in sub-zero temperatures in while protesters clashed with police and senior politicians warned that the unrest could encourage extremism.

The protests have so far forced Scholz's deeply unpopular government into promising policy changes to head off further unrest on the unrest while sticking to fiscal discipline after a constitutional court ruling in November threw its spending plans into disarray.

"No beer without farmers," read one protest banner, while another tractor had a poster from the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party that read "Our farmers come first."

Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, who was prevented from leaving a ferry as he returned from holiday last week when furious farmers tried to storm the vessel he was on, warned in a video message on Monday that farmers' right to protest could be exploited by fringe groups but thus has become a regular theme from EU member state governments facing mass dissent as they try to impose the extremist policies imposed by Brussels.

Farmers called the protests in response to the government's decision to phase out a tax break on agricultural diesel as it tries to bring its 2024 budget over the finish line while complying with the constitutional court ruling.

"For a farm like mine, I would lose about 10,000 euros," said a farmer from Bavaria, Ralf Huber. "For our businesses, it's a catastrophe."

The AfD party, preparing to launch campaigns in a string of federal state elections later this year, is supporting the protests, claiming it proves German voters dissatisfaction with current government and hoping to make enough gains to be able to force the Scholz administration to resign.

Hermann Blinkert at the German Institute for New Social Answers (INSA) said the government was in deep scheiss because will look weak if it u-turns on cutting farm subsidies, but will appear to have lost control if the dispute continues.

"The government has the problem that it has already gambled away the trust of the population," Blinkert said.

German Farmers target nation's vice chancellor in subsidies protest

German farmers angered by cost-saving plans impacting the country's agricultural sector blocked the EU state’s vice chancellor from disembarking a ferry on Thursday, in a protest that was criticized by both government and opposition figures. The farmer's ager was triggered by financial cutbacks imposed by EU policy on member state’s agricultural industries have.

Farmers staged a massive protest in Berlin last month, when the city was gridlocked by slow moving tractors disrupting traffic flows on the main roads and busiest streets. The German Farmers Union and have promised there will be further demonstrations which will continue until Chancellor Scholz and the government change course.

A spokesperson for Habeck told DPA that he would have been happy to discuss the subsidies row with the farmers, but that “the security situation did not allow for a dialogue with all farmers,” later adding that an “offer made by Minister Habeck to talk face to face with individual farmers was unfortunately not accepted.”

On Thursday (January 4) the government announced it would partially roll back the planned measures. It said it would retain car-tax exemptions on farming vehicles, while also introducing reductions in fuel tax for diesel used in agricultural settings.

The German Farmers’ Assocation rejected all the government’s amendments, that the politicians must engage in collective negotiations with the industry and not with individuals and that protests planned for next week would go ahead as planned.

An aide of Chancellor Scholz, Steffen Hebestreit, wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the blockade of Habeck’s ferry was “shameful and violates the rules” of a functioning society. Justice Minister Marco Buschmann said the protest “discredits the cause of many farmers who demonstrate peacefully.”

Meanwhile, Hendrik Wust of the opposition Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) wrote on social media that “this transgression is absolutely unacceptable” and that the incident “must have consequences.” These comments reveal the growing alienation of Germany's political establishment from the people

Biden Can Hardly Walk But He Has To Run Again To Stay Out Of Jail - But Is It Democratic?

U.S. President Joe Biden (Dementia Joe, The Child Sniffer, Uncle Groper or substitute your preference,)  has been accused of accepting  $-tens-of-millions from agents of foreign governments in exchange for using his influence as a U S Senator and (from 2008 to 2016) Vice President on their behalf.

Bribery is a serious federal crime that warrants impeachment and prosecution. Biden is also accused of obstructing justice by influencing the federal investigation into his son Hunter. (Trending: The Failures of Joe Biden Are In Full Bloom) Though Democrats continue to deny there is  evidence that Joe Biden committed any high crimes that warrant impeachment from the White House in reality, there is a mountain of evidence piling up against Biden, his son Hunter (a self - confessed drug addict, alcoholic and nonce,) and other family members, including witness testimony, emails, text messages, flights, and bank records. Let’s have a look at some of the incriminating evidence:

• Hunter Biden’s former business associate Devon Archer testified in July to the House Oversight Committee that Joe Biden spoke with his son’s business associates more than 20 times to sell the family “brand.”

• Joe Biden attended a spring 2014 dinner and met Russian oligarch Elena Baturina. He also attended a spring 2015 dinner with Vadim Pozharskyi, an executive with Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings.

• Baturina later wired $3.5 million to a shell company owned by Archer and Biden in February 2014, bank records show. (Trending: Climate Hoax, Scientist Admits To Lying)

• Joe Biden attended a meeting in Beijing with a Chinese business associate, whose daughter later received a college recommendation letter from then-Vice President Joe Biden.

• Hunter Biden received $80,000 per month by Burisma when the dinner with Pozharskyi took place. 

• The Biden family and its associates received more than $20 million from Ukrainian, Russian, Chinese, Romanian and Kazakhstani business associates, the bank records indicate.

 The real darkness in American politics in my view is what the hard left aka democrats are doing to their country lawless streets taking away free speech with critical race and gender theory and trying to stop the democratic process..they have a real reason to fear trump. I would welcome his return.

The real disturbing issue is how so-called Democrats are so desperate to stop Trump winning that they are using legal means to stop him being a candidate? If they really believe in democracy shouldn't they have sufficient faith in their own candidate to win?

Time and again in recent years from US elections to trans issues to Brexit the approach of supposedly democratic liberals is to seek to circumvent and subvert democracy.

The real disturbing issue is how so-called Democrats are so desperate to stop Trump winning that they are using legal means to stop him being a candidate? If they really believe in democracy shouldn't they have sufficient faith in their own candidate to win?

Time and again in recent years from US elections to trans issues to Brexit the approach of supposedly democratic liberals is to seek to circumvent and subvert democracy.

The most disturbing issue however, is the way an authoritarian party with sufficient hubris to call themselves  Democrats are so desperate to stop Trump or any Republican winning that they are using any and every legal trick their shyster lawyers can find to stop him even being a candidate? If they really believe in democracy shouldn't they have sufficient faith in their own candidate to win?

Time and again in recent years from US elections to trans issues to Brexit the approach of supposedly democratic liberals is to seek to circumvent and subvert democracy through court systems that have been loaded by previous administrations with far left activist judges and officials.

 The real darkness in American politics appears, from where I am watching on the far side of The Atlantic, to be what the hard left aka Democrats are doing to their country in prosecuting their opponents while criminals go about their business unhindered in the lawless streets of dystopian cities, suppressing free speech and other inalienable rights, using critical race and gender theory to dive society, mandating the right of deviants to enter schools for the purpose of grooming young children and trying to subvert the democratic process.  When we look at the alternative, voters have no real reason to fear Trump, who is merely an ill - mannered, loudmouthed bully. 

But those who cannot stomach The Donald's style, politics or silly haircut, there's always the option to vote for a candidate who is a true Democrat and who loves his country and much as Trump claims to and Biden clearly does not. Bobby Kennedy Jnr. is currently showing enough support in polls to be a threat to both major parties.
