How to stop Google tracking your every move

Do you ever get the feeling you are being watched or followed? OK, it could possibly be because you are paranoid but more likely you've noticed a few things that are just beyond creepy when you are using the web and particularly Google services.

For an example, has an advertisement for a product or service ever popped up on your screen just after you were talking to someone about it?

When security researcher Mustafa Al-Bassam popped into a McDonald’s for a halal burger last year, he was shocked when a prompt to download the fast food restaurant’s app popped up on his smart phone. Mustafa tweeted at the time:

Your every move is being watched. Monitored. Analysed. Not just by creepy spooks like the NSA and GCHQ but also by corporate pirates determined to get their grubby mitts on your hard earned. Google, (don't be evil, that's our job) are probably the worst culprit and are known to collaborate with National Security agencies to gather data on citizens, not just suspected criminals or political activists but ordinary punters. The aim is to build a profile of you that will make it possible to predict your behaviour.

Around the time Mr Al-Bassam noticed he had a creepy stalker in his cellphone phone, other Google users began to realise that despite having deleted Google Maps, another Google-based app, Google Play, was “almost obsessive” in its need to check user’s whereabouts.

While location services on your smartphone are commonplace in modern society, Google's cosy relationship with the US government enables them to circumvent civil rights an privacy laws and accurately follow you, building a picture of where you go and what you do. Google Play passes on your location data to databases and installed apps via an API, whether Maps are installed or not.

For Android users, Google uses this information in a service called Nearby, “which notifies you of things that can be helpful near you”, according to Google.

Google jovially tells you “The Play Store offers over one million apps — many of which are created to be used in specific locations or situations. The right app at the right moment lets you get more done.”

But one they are in your system, Google makes it particularly difficult to switch these features off.

Here’s how to get out of it.

Deleting or uninstalling the apps are helpful, or you could turn your phone’s location services on and off as you use each app. But this is irritating and time consuming. However News.com Australia have compiled some instructions to help you shake off the stalker in your smart phone. See below:

ANDROID

Tapping on ‘Your Timeline’, Google will ask you to turn on your Location history. This allows you to rediscover places you’ve visited in the past. But it also allows Google to create a complex profile of your personality.

Here’s how to stop Google Maps tracking you:

• Select ‘Your Timeline’ in Settings

• Tap the Burger Icon (the three dots on the top right-hand side of the screen) and select ‘Settings’

• Scroll down to Location Settings

• Tap “Location History is on”.

• A pop-up window will appear; tap the checkmark next to “On”. Swiping to the left should turn it off.

• Tap “OK” on the window that appears.

— You can also turn location off and delete location history in the same settings. Google will issue a warning that says your services might be affected — but let’s be real, you’ll be fine.

APPLE IOS

The ‘Your Timeline’ feature doesn’t exist for Apple users, as they do Android. But there are ways to opt out.

• Make sure you’re signed in and go to your Settings

• Scroll down to Settings

• Tap ‘Location History’ and slide it off

• To erase your history, scroll down the Settings menu to ‘Maps History’.

• There is currently not an option to delete everything at once, but you can tap the ‘X’ next to the locations you want to delete.

• You can also turn off ‘Location Data Collection’ by tapping ‘About, terms and privacy’ under Settings

— There is a sneaky way to allow Google to track your location while only using the App.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Google Maps and select ‘While Using the App’.

Wikileaks: Clinton Campaign Team Bribed Republicans To Smear Trump

The latest batch of electronic documents release by WikiLeaks contain email that appear to show Hillary Clinton campaign staffers bribed 6 Republicans to discredit Trump during the Presidential election campaign.

In the most damning message John Podesta, former White House Chief of Staff to Bill Clinton and aide to Barack Obama who worked as Chair opf the hillary Clinton campaign wrote to Huma Abedin, Hillary's personal assistant regarding the possibility of diverting Clinton campaign funds to various Republicans who were secretly on the Clinton payroll.

Conservativedailypost.com reports: The email, sent in July of this year, describes how funds were being diverted from Clinton’s campaign to the Super PACS of Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, and John Kasich.
According to the email:

“JB, CF, and JK PACS will be noticeably silent for the rest of the campaign. Each will receive a significant allowance from advertising budget. HRC is in the loop and has talked to all three personally. Eyes only.”

Other emails have surfaced raised eyebrows. It appears the Clinton Foundation bought off several key members of the Republican Party to push the Clinton agenda. One message read:
“He is on board, will retract the invitation to speak. Eyes only.”

This email was dated just before Speaker of the House Paul Ryan withdrew an invitation for Trump to speak at a campaign event in Wisconsin. Even though the mail does not represent a ‘smoking gun’ to say it was him, no other logical conclusion can be assumed.

Other emails hint at the money being moved to Republican elected officials in the House and Senate. For instance FEC reports shows that two large donations from PACs (Political action Committees) and private sources. In early October Clinton Foundation money went to John McCain after he publicly launched a very personal attack on Trump. That happened shortly after an exchange of emails concerning moving money to support one candidate and move support from another.

Shortly thereafter, his challenger in this tight race, Kirkpatrick, lost several key donors and money and support lessened from the DNC and the DSCC in the last few weeks of the race. McCain is one of the leading voices in the Democrats campaign to demonize Russia and to fabricate evidence of links between Trump and Vladimir Putin and has worked with committee to investigate alleged Russian influence into the election, but has not been able to produce any evidence to back up his smears.

Senator Lindsay Graham, another Republican critic of Donald Trump also received help from the Clintons according to the leaked mails. An email that simply states, “Cleared the road for him in 2020,” could mean that there will be no strong or supported Democrat in the South Carolina Senate race when Graham is up for re-election.

As with McCain, Graham has publicly called for a look into the Russian influence in the election.

Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing who in the Republican Party is serving the voters with integrity and which are the ones that are only inteested in personal enrichment and thus are prepared to act as fronts for the Clinton Crime syndicate. The number of emails in the Wikileaks release is too overwhelming for any evidence of double dealing to be assembled quickly.

The only hope that we have for transparency of the Clintons anytime soon is for an audit to be carried out by the tax authorities. Is it conincidence that there are calls to impeach the Commissioner of the IRS. Interesting times we live in to be sure. Only time and diligence on the part of citizen journalists will bring the crooks to account, there is no change of mainstream media abandoning bias, to go against the official line would cost journalists their jobs and to go against The Clintons could easily cost them their lives.

Why are climate-change models so detatched from reality?

Readers familiar with this blog should be aware that our purpose is to question authority, the establishment, scientists academic experts who live in a world of theory and lack practical experience (they're CHIMPS - Completely Hopeless In Most Practical Situations) and also that we have consistently questioned the certainties of those who 'identify' as liberals (although their illiberalism, intolerance of differing opinions and constant claims of authority when challenged show they are the opposite of liberal.

Take for example the question of climate change. "The science is settled," liberals claim no matter how many peer reviewed scientific research papers challenge that and offer far more rigorous evidence in support of their conclusions that the Warmageddonists have.

For years however, mainstream media has dutifully followed the government propaganda and supported the CAGWARTS (Carbon-driven Anthropogenic Global Warming Alternative Reality Trolls) claims that CO2 emissions from human activities was the sole cause of climate change. Now at last we are starting to see mainstream media publications, alarmed by the way audiences and readers are abandoning them, tired of being fed a constant diet of fake news, and revenue has dwindled are starting to take a more balanced approach to reporting climate related issues.

Chemtrails Exposed - NASA has admitted weather modification experiments

We know that since World war Two ended governments have been engaged in experiments to control weather, they know we know, so why keep denying it. Repeated denials of projects like chemtrail spraying and HAARP have only spawned more, and more outlandish conspiracy theories. So what is going on?

The evidence indicating the existence of a global weather modification project is overwhelming, and ham fisted attempts to cover up what has been going on has contributed to the collapse of trust in government, the scientific academy whose members' research will produce whatever results the customer has asked for, and mainstream media, which has abandoned its role of holding the powers that be to account and now slavishly parrots propaganda provided by government spin doctors. HAARP, the experiment using high frequency electro - magnetic pulses to affect weather was exposed a few years ago. Suspicions about the spraying of chemicals were harder to nail down.The evidence that government and scientists have consistently lied when answering questions on the topic may be reviewed in the book Chemtrails Exposed: A new Manhattan Project by Peter A Kirby.

The book suggests that plans for global weather modification project came out of the World War 2-era Manhattan Project. It is known that in 1952 British government experiments resulted in a flash flood which killed twenty eight people at Lynmouth, a small town in south west England. It emerged in 2002, when classified documents were released under the UK's 50 year law, that experiments in cloud seeding using silver iodine had been conducted in the area prior to the flood. For decades government and academics denied such experiments had been conducted. Such projects, like The Manhattan Project itself, were and still are enormous, top-secret military research projects. This poses many ethical problems for those working in the sciences. Manhattan Project scientists compared the power of atomic bombs to the power of storms countless times which was something of an understatement perhaps. Many eminent scientists who worked on Manhattan Project to build a nuclear bomb later went on to do work on weather modification experiments. Geoengineering researchers today have given testimony to Congressional hearings in the United States on projects calling for a new Manhattan Project that involves spraying us with stuff.

But nobody should run away with the idea this is just a 'blame America' article. The Russian and Chinese governments, along with the European Union and governments of India, Pakistan and Iran have admitted to running weather control projects.

Thus we begin to see how the military/industrial/academic complex created during WWII has promoted the development of technologies which have become integral to the efforts of a cartel of bankers, corporate investors, academics and political families to use fearmongering and propaganda to establish a case for a global, authoritarian, meritocratic government that populations will willingly accept as the only way of averting global catastrophe.

The 'conspiracy theorists' have won again as in the face of oerwhelming evidence, the use of chemical spraying in weather modification projects is admitted by governments.

EU punishes Turkey For Repairing Relations With NATO Public Enemy No1 Russia

Leaving aside the current spat between The Netherlands and Turkey which is a different thing altogether, The EU’s diplomatic service is currently trying to punish Turkey for seeking better relations with Russia, after their supporting different sides in the Syria conflict brought the two nations close to war. It is true that NATO member Turkey has recently shown less commitment to the West, but there are probably good reasons for this, starting with the fact that Russia's military might poses an existential threat to Turkey should the two countries not see eye to eye. Then there is the matter of the EU's dangling carrots like associate membership and a fast track to full EU membership in front of the Turkish government, only to withdraw them when EU member states that were once occupied by the old Ottoman Empire threatened to veto any such move.

On top of all that there is the immigration crisis and both sides are guilty of reneging on deals regarding Turkey's role in stemming the flood of illegal immigrants from north African and the middle east to Europe's 'open borders' zone. Diplomatic experts in the west have said Turkey’s relationship with Europe has never seen such a low point.

The EU-Turkey situation has deteriorated over the past few weeks, as pro - Islam rallies sponsored by the Turkish government scheduled to take place in major European countries, including Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Austria the have been cancelled, or certain Turkish officials were barred from attending on grounds that their presence was likely to inflame tensions between the local population and Islamic migrants. It is thought however that the actions are intended to show Turkey that the EU and NATO will decide which nations it can choose as allies. We anticipate further deterioration in Turkey / EU relations.

Turkish politicians seeking to address expatriates in European Union nations are involved in campaigning ahead of a constitutional referendum which will take place on April 16. They are trying to drum up support among the large communities of Turks living in Europe. A ‘yes’ vote in the referendum would give Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the power to rule as an autocrat.

Campaigning among migrant communities has been hampered by law enforcement agencies in several European nations, leading Turkey to claim that there is a concerted effort to undermine the referendum among countries that have been critical of Ankara’s crackdown on the opposition following an attempted military coup last year. May commentators, including western journalist in Turkey and locals have claimed the 'coup' was staged by Erdogan to justify exactly the kind of power grab he is attempting.

Erdogan criticized the bans, calling the EU fascist and Nazi. The Turkish president also threatened the EU, saying “they will certainly pay the price and also learn what diplomacy is. We will teach them international diplomacy."

Dutch authorities imposed bans on several Turkish political speakers, on the grounds that the inflammatory rhetoric which is the trade mark of middle eastern politics would be inappropriate in the run up to the general election in Netherlands later this week. On Saturday (11 March, 2016), the Netherlands prevented Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu from speaking in Rotterdam and, later the same day refused to allow Turkish Family Minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya from visiting the city’s Turkish consulate. She was deported to Germany.

No - one Invited US Troops To Raqqa, All Foreign Troops In Syria Uninvited Are Invaders Says Assad

We did not expect, as we woke on November 9, 2016, to the news that Donald Trump had beaten Hillary Clinton in the election and would become Preident of The United States in January 2016, that the billionaire would make good his promises to 'drain the swamp' and disengage from Obama's illegal wars immediately. It was always obvious that Trump, even if he attempted to introduce his isolationist agenda, would have a fight on his hands if the wanted to prise the fingers of the military - industrial complex and the vested interests embedded in the Washington bureaucracy from the throat of Uncle Sam.

At the moment he is not winning, if the latest news from the middle east is an indicator of how things will go under Trump, it's business as usual in the US government as the shadow government influences policy in the interests of its friends.

Hundreds of US Marines have landed in Syria in preparation for an operation to retake the city of Raqqa from occupying ISIS forces the US military confirmed on Thursday. Raqqa is an oil town in north east Syria and de-facto capital of Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) occupied territory,

"We are talking about an additional 400 or so forces in total, and they will be there for a temporary period," US Air Force Colonel John Dorrian told Reuters. The deployment is an addition to the existing 500 US forces already in Syria and is aimed at accelerating the defeat of IS in its Syrian stronghold of Raqqa city, Dorrian said.

The Washington Post broke the news claiming anonymous defense officials, stated that the marines will be working to establish an outpost from which they can fire artillery in support of the fight for Raqqa. According to the newspaper, the new deployment is part of a task force of the 11th US Marine Expeditionary Unit. It includes part of an artillery battery that can fire 155mm shells from M777 Howitzers. It is known Russia has a powerful flotilla of its warships in the eastern Mediterranean and missile defence systems on the ground in Syria.

Any foreign forces, including those from the US, that enter Syria without invitation are invaders, Syrian President Bashar Assad told Chinese media in an interview, noting that no one had given the US troops currently in Manbij permission to be there.

“Any foreign troops coming to Syria without our invitation or consultation or permission, they are invaders, whether they are American, Turkish, or any other one,” Assad told Chinese PHOENIX TV, as cited by the Syrian state-run SANA news agency.

When a journalist asked the Syrian president if Damascus had “opened doors” for American troops in Aleppo province’s city of Manbij, Assad said “No, we didn’t.”

“What are they [foreign troops] going to do? To fight ISIS [Islamic State, formerly ISIL]? The Americans lost nearly every war. They lost in Iraq, they had to withdraw at the end. Even in Somalia, let alone Vietnam in the past and Afghanistan.”

According to Assad, the US “didn’t succeed anywhere they sent troops, they only create a mess; they are very good in creating problems and destroying, but they are very bad in finding solutions.”
The Pentagon confirmed earlier in March that US troops had been sent to Manbij to prevent conflict between US-backed Kurdish forces and rebels backed by Turkey.

The USA was hugely embarrassed by the success of Russia and Iran against ISIS and this latest war crime may be an attempt to save face. If so it is too late, Russia has already replaced America as the dominant military power in the middle east. It will however be interesting to see what Vladimir Putin does in response to this latest Washington idiocy and whether Trump takes on the perpetual war party or saves that fight for another day.

VAULT7 Leak: ‘There is Heavy Shit Coming Down says CIA contractor

A few years ago when Wikileaks released the Bradley Manning data dump we Boggart Bloggers considered the whistleblower site had been irresponsible because the information released included names of government agents and operatives, and we said so in our posts. The latest Wikileaks release, the so called Vault 7 leaks are being denounced by people involved in the Deep State as a threat to national security, but we reject this. The information in Vault 7 documents exposes how the CIA developed tool to spy on US citizens through their computers ans smartphones and also reveals collaboration between government agencies and powerful technology corporations. In fact it confirms that the success of these corporations is more due to favours granted by the US government than to the quality or usefulness of the products and services they trade in.

Over the past year every secret Wikileaks has revealed hurt both the integrity and honor of the United States. But it has also exposed the culture of corruption deeply embedded in the political system of the USA. They have also proved that many new media journalists dismissed by those frauds and poseurs employed by news organisations like The BBC, CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post as 'conspiracy theorists' are in fact far more diligent investigators and reporters than their counterparts in mainstream media.

The question Americans have to grapple with, although the election of Donald Trump last November suggest many have answered to their own satisfaction is "Does the US government deserve the level of scepticism it faces?" After all, living inside of a vast and powerful, if increasingly authoritarian empire has its benefits. As the empire expands, so does the wealth of its citizens. Well that's the theory. In practice it has never worked out that way. Persia, Rome, Ottoman Turkey, Britain, they all failed. Fox New sources inside the CIA said the agency was running around like headless chickens, saying ‘there is heavy shit coming down.’ Is it any wonder when we consider the crimes the CIA have committed against citizens of their own nation as well as the regime change and destabilisation operations they have engineered around the world?

The reason for the rise of 'populist' politics, In Britain, France, Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands, Italy and Spain as well as the USA and the alienation among those usually supportive of the CIA lies in the disengagement of the political elites from the masses. Their President is set upon by ‘permanent government’ officials in the intelligence agencies — whose only goal is to derail and destroy his term before it even begins.

Then we come to find out the same people who told us the Russians were our enemy, revealing corruption and depravity on a monumental scale via the Podesta emails, they were, in fact, the ones spying on us all along — both lying and mocking us like Lords in a fiefdom. They even developed a piece of software to disguise their clandestine snooping as the work of foreign powers.

Yes the US establishment does deserve the crap Wikileaks has thrown at it. In the 'fair use' clause of copyright law, which covers the use of copyright material without licence from the originator in certain circumstances, there is a phrase "in the public interest." It is surely in the public interest to know that their own government, rather than any foreign power, is their greatest enemy.

Democrats Are Lying, NYT reported wiretap on Trump campaign in January

Following the usual pattern, the neo - fascist liberals of mainstream media were quick to condemn Donald Trump for his claim that his campaign had been spied on. The Trump accusation that Obama ordered the tapping on his phones during the election caused the upholders of the truth, social justice and political correctness (according to their various advertising campaigns) in the anti-Trump media, principally the Washington Post, the New York Times and CNN to vehemently deny that any such thing happened and used the accusation to renew their questioning of Trump's sanity. Even Barack Obama was moved to enter the controversy with a very precisely worded (obviously he didn't write it himself) statement which denied that he had organised a 'wiretap on Trump's campaign offices but avoided saying he had not been aware that the CIA were hacking systems and spying on electronic media in Trump Tower. (You would not do a 'wiretap now, digital surveillance is much easier). In the past few days however, Trump has found an ally victim has emerged over the past few days: the New York Times itself.

While the NYT was repeatedly ridiculing and denying Trump's allegation, the paper had itself written an article on January 19 titled, in the print version, "Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides', and online "Intercepted Russian Communications Part of Inquiry Into Trump Associates", by reporters Michael Schmidt and Michael Shear, which corroborated much, if not all of what Trump himself said in his accusation of Obama and The Democrats, and quotes the usual anonymous source who said that “wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House” as part of an investigation into “the business dealings that some of the president-elect’s past and present advisers have had with Russia.”

So once again Trump, in his vague, rambling, imprecise way was right and his detractors have been made to look foolish and inept.

Sweden: Muslim classmates gang rape 14-year-old girl in school, remain enrolled because “rapists are victims too,” says principal

Immigrant crimes still go unpunished in Sweden as civil unrest grows. In one of the latest incidents to shock and outrage decent, civilised Swedes a 14-year-old Swedish girl who was raped in her school by two boys (whose nationality and religion mainstream media has coyly avoided mentioning) is now receiving her education at another school, while the attackers remain enrolled at their current school. One of them, a 16-year-old carrying the Arab name Ajuub ('nuff said?), suffers from an “impaired ability to understand what is right and wrong,” the verdict stated. He was therefore punished mildly. Parents of pupils still attending the school are extremely unhappy with the situation, nobody can feel their daughters are safe while two rapists are running round loose.

The rape was committed on the 30th of May last year in the common room of a school in Skane, in the south of Sweden. Both boys, Ajuub plus an unnamed 15-year-old, raped the victim vaginally as well as orally. It is not clear whether the two immigrant boys were alone in the room with the girl or whether Swedish pupils present are no so indoctrinated with left wing propaganda they actually believe the shite put out by government and mainstream media that girls raped by immigrants should consider themselves privileged.

The rapists were sentenced in December, Sydsvenskan reports, but the news was suppressed under a government policy of censoring stories that reflect negatively on Sweden's lawless immigrant. Ajuub was convicted to 100 hours of youth service plus 24 meetings with a social worker “in order to learn to make better decisions,” while the 15-year-old is considered by Swedish law to be too young to be held criminally responsible and has thus been set free.

The first few days following the sex assault, the girl named Tindra, was according to friends, too afraid to tell her mother about the ordeal, but was too terrified by the possibility of further attacks to go back to school again. Apparently, the younger of the rapists had spread rumours about the victim for several months, calling her “a whore that sells sex for money.” He also threatened the girl with violence.

The school principal, a typically snivelling, cowardly, spineless Swede too fightened of being politically incorrect to do right by the victim of this disgusting crime, claiming the right to remain anonymous, says he “struggles” with the case and thinks about it “every day and every hour.” When addressing parents’ concerns, the principal says he didn’t feel the need to officially notify them since:“there is no obligation for a school to go out and announce that there’s a student who has been convicted of rape.”

He then began babbling about “taking the whole picture into account,” and appeared to blame the girl for having been raped (a common attitude in Saudi Abrabia, Somalia and other primitive shitholes, but until recently not acceptable in any European nation.)

“All three people involved were our students here and all three are, in a way, victims in this case. The boy who was convicted has gotten a pretty harsh punishment, which turns him into a victim as well.” Fucking harsh? Well I suppose 24 meetings with a social worker is enough to drive anyone insane, but come on. If there was any justice the girl would be compensated for the schools failure to exercice due care and the little shits who raped her would be be put on a boat back to the middle east, where if they got the urge to rape again the authorities know how to deal with such offenders.

Ann Heberlein, a woman whose friend has a daughter in the school, recently wrote about the case, demanding much harsher punishment for the perpetrators of sexual violence. “Who cares about Tindra,” she wonders.

“Swedish schools that have gender and equality enshrined in their value system, which emphasizes gender perspective in their curricula, that invites feminists to teach girls self-defense, and that provide lessons in sex education to girls in order to strengthen them into not doing stuff that they do not want, and admonishing the boys to obtain the girls’ consent if they want to have sex with them, have completely lost it. How can a country that aspires to be a ‘moral superpower’ and a government that prides itself on being ‘feminist’ fail so miserably in living up to its own ambitions?”
“School should be a safe place. The fact that our children won’t have to be in the same classroom as a convicted criminal, should go without saying – and that a girl who has been raped will not have to face their rapists on her way to school or when she is out walking her dog, should be the minimum requirement that can be asked from our rule of law.”

But as this blog has often said, being a Muslim beats being a woman in the hierarchy of politically correct inanity.

Besides the scandal mentioned above, Swedish media yesterday reported on another school rape, this time in Kalmar, also in the south of Sweden.

In this case, both the victim and the assailant are under 15 years of age, SVT reports, so the attacker will go free. Even though the school board was obliged to immediately notify the social services on the sex crime, it waited for several days.
