The Lies of Davos, Runaway Food Prices and Global Starvation

In mid-2021, corn had already nearly doubled in price and wheat had soared almost 40%. This was well before any of the bankers started blaming Russia for soaring wheat and corn staples because of the Russia invasion of Ukraine at the end of February of this year. This should clearly show the absurd obscenity of the Central Banker narrative of blaming ongoing mass global starvation on the Russians. Over a year ago, I could not have been more explicit in explaining that Central Bankers’ massive devaluations of fiat currency purchasing power along with the establishments’ immoral covid lockdowns were the primary culprits, not those “evil” Russians, were responsible for “imped[ing] the ability of hundreds of millions around the world that most desperately need to work to purchase food, [thus creating] a lethal combination [of] mass hunger and starvation.”

And if the above referenced chart doesn’t convince you that Central Bankers were the primary cause of life-squeezing inflation around the world well before the Russians invaded Ukraine, then just take a look at another chart I compiled which clearly illustrates the runaway inflation in the US and the incredible shrinking dollar since 1975. Are the Central Bankers going to blame the below runaway prices on the Russians too?

Furthermore, those incredibly naïve and ignorant masses that believe the banker-controlled mass media narratives that the Russians are to blame for mass starvation around the world have little to zero knowledge about the true price mechanisms of major food staples, and instead, believe the garbage they learned in their MBA business programs about this topic. For example, most among us are unaware that global grain distribution is widely controlled in monopolistic fashion by just four companies - Archer-Daniels Midland, Bunge, Cargill, and Dreyfus – and due to this monopoly, that these companies can conspire to heavily influence the prices of the world’s major food staples.

In fact, all of these companies retain grain reserves that they could release to ease soaring prices and to help the starving, but for obvious reasons, safeguard and do not publicly disclose this information. Due to the sole purpose of global companies to maximize shareholder value, it behooves these companies to artificially push prices as high as possible at all times, even if such actions lead to mass starvation around the world. Since the data regarding their grain reserves remains unknown, I’m not claiming that these companies engage in this type of immoral behavior, but it’s quite obvious that they would maximize shareholder value by doing so, and doing so quite frequently.

It requires only a modicum of knowledge about industry wide practices to imagine that these four companies employ similar methodologies of creating artificially higher food prices to the alleged methodologies employed by JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs bankers in artificially driving aluminum prices higher before offloading them for massive profits. For many years, those companies that needed aluminum supply alleged that Wall Street bankers were artificially driving prices up by multiples of a free market price by hoarding aluminum in non-publicly disclosed warehouses and refusing to allow millions of tons of aluminum to enter the market. Other billionaires around the world have done the same with metals and grains, with China’s hoarding of aluminum and soybeans to artificially drive prices higher well documented. Of course, all behavior of this type is morally repugnant, but the mass media continuously compartmentalizes its judgment about such behavior by absolving all Westerners of such behavior while condemning all those in non-NATO nations that do the same. In other words, mass media journalists lack any moral compass and seem to think that moral repugnancy does not cross transnational borders from East to West, from South to North, and that moral repugnancy only dwells in the Eastern and Southern hemispheres and in developing nations.

Even If The War In Ukraine Ends, Sanctions Will Stay - So How Bad Will The Food Crisis Get?

We have posted in this blog two keynote articles and several shorter pieces in the past three weeks on the likely catastrophic consequences for the world's food supply of Russia’s Ukraine incursion as the loss of Ukranian and Russian exports of wheat, maize and edible oils are lost. The war may end within a couple of week and for the sake of Ukranian people we have to hope that is the case. However while the shooting war is about local issues the economic war has much wider and more complex implications which means that the west's sanctions on Russian finance and retaliatory Russian bans on exports of agricultural produce, raw materials for commercial fetilizers (Russia produces two thirds of the world's ammonium nitrate according to some sources,) will therefore remain in place much longer.

Ukraine is the world’s fifth-largest exporter of wheat (Russia is largest, followed by USA, Canada and France,) and at this time of year Ukrainian farmers ought to be seeding their fields in some of the richest soil in the world. The best agricultural land in the country is unfortunately at the heart of the conflict zone and consistently under bombardment from air and ground.

Ukrainian farmers like to tell the world they are a resilient, adaptable and innovative people but they also know that in the current situation their our priorities must be different. And while Ukrane's agricultural communities prioritise capturing Russian weapons, blowing up fuel convoys and allowing demoralised Russian soldiers to talk with their mothers.

In Odessa’s formerly bustling docks of Ukraine’s main port are now still, the approaches to the harbour blockaded by Moscow's Black Sea fleet.

The grain and corn stored in huge silos on the farm where where Svitlana Sirko (below) works should at this time of year be on their way to the dock for export. Along with countless others across the huge country, this medium-sized farm with 20 labourers contributes to Ukraine’s reputation as the breadbasket of Europe. After harvestwait exporting in late summer up to 10,000 tonnes can be stored in the silo to await export. This year it must stay there because no ships can enter or leave the port.

The Ukraine war has contributed a trio of economic crises for the wider world, a dearth of wheat and other staple foods, rocketing fuel prices (due in part to the failure of green energy sources and the idiocy of 'net zero' committments,) and the ban on exporting raw materials for fertiliser products which will cause reduced yields across all this year's harvests.

And the economic bad news does not end there. Because of its vast area Russia with Siberia hosts many other natural resources essential to high tech industries, metal bashing industries and agriculture. The world faces a commodity catastrophe with oil, gas, coal and agricultural chemicals prices all spiralling higher together, with metals catching up fast. It is a problem not just for central bankers but for all of us.

A statement from Roman Leshchenko Ukraine’s agriculture and food minister said that while export blocks had been placed on badly needed commodities like beef, sugar, salt and millet, the country still wanted to export wheat and corn. Yet that had been made nearly impossible by a blockade of Ukraine’s southern ports by the Russian navy. March, April, May and June should be the peak export months, but instead the ships are stationary and the terminals closed.

It looks as if 2022 is going to be an even rougher ride than '20 and '21.

While the liberal media were focused on some very trivial, slightly crude utterances spoken by Donald Trump years ago,
The Intercept finally released excerpts from the speeches Hillary Clinton was paid a total of millions of dollars for making to Wall Street Bankers.

We don't intend to publish the full list here, they are online at the Wikileaks site, a few choice morsels are enough to prove Hillary is totally owned by big finance and if she becomes president will govern in their interests rather than the interests of the American people.

Touching on her view of developing financial regulations, Clinton declared to a crowd of Goldman Sachs bankers that in order to “figure out what works,” the “people that know the industry better than anybody are the people who work in the industry.”

At the Goldman Sachs Builders and Innovators Summit, Clinton responded to a question from chief executive Lloyd Blankfein, who quipped that you “go to Washington” to “make a small fortune.” Clinton agreed with the comment and complained about ethics rules that require officials to divest from certain assets before entering government. “There is such a bias against people who have led successful and/or complicated lives,” Clinton said.

At a speech for Morgan Stanley on April 18, 2013, Clinton praised the Simpson-Bowles deficit reduction plan — which would reduce corporate tax rates while raising the Social Security age. “But Simpson-Bowles — and I know you heard from Erskine earlier today — put forth the right framework. Namely, we have to restrain spending, we have to have adequate revenues, and we have to incentivize growth. It’s a three-part formula,” she said.

Clinton also told a housing trade group in 2013 that on certain issues, she has “a public and a private position.” “If everybody’s watching, you know, all of the back room discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least,” said Clinton. “So, you need both a public and a private position.”

Any reasonable person would assume the contents of these snippets would be enough to scupper any chance Hillary Clinton had of becoming president but don't forget this is the United States Democratic Party, probably the most corrupt and undemocratic political organisation in the developed world, we are dealing with. There have already been numerous leaks of information that would have destroyed not only a candidate but their party too, had the party involved been any other than the US Democrats. Only a few weeks ago we reported a dump of hacked emails between Hillary Clinton and her PA and alleged lover Huma Abedin that show both were complicit in many illegal acts some relating to the selling of influence while Clinton was a member of the Obama administration.

This document dump also contained proof that Clinton was actively involved in the electoral fraud that robbed Bernie Sanders of the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

Judicial Watch organisation dropped the bombshell that were the United States Democratic Party not such a corrupt, lawless and undemocratic organisation, would certainly end Hillary Clinton’s campaign on Monday when they released 725 pages of new State Department documents that include damning exchanges with her top aide Huma Abedin.

The emails confirm that Abedin gave influential Clinton Foundation donors special, expedited access to the then-Secretary of State. In most cases, the donors that were given this preferential treatment were handed it at the specific request of Clinton Foundation executive Douglas Band.

Wikileaks and the new contender, DC Leaks have promised to publish more documents relating to Hillary Clinton's criminality and her husband's long career as a rapist and sex abuser before the election which is still a month away.

Latest Hillary Email Scandal Reveals State Department "Favors" To Clinton Foundation

In the latest installment over Hillary Clinton's email scandal, conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch released 296 pages of new emails from Hillary's personal server, most of which were not handed over as part of the 30,000 emails originally provided to the FBI. The emails were provided to Judicial Watch pursuant to a FOIA request. These new emails, among other things, demonstrate how the Clinton Foundation and it's top donors sought favors from the State Department within 3 months of Hillary taking the Secretary of State position.

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal:

“That the Clinton Foundation was calling in favors barely 3 months into Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department is deeply troubling, and it is yet another reminder of the conflicts of interest and unethical wheeling and dealing she’d bring to the White House,” said Michael Short, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee, in a statement Tuesday.

The first request for a "favor" came in April 2009, just 3 months after Hillary was confirmed as Secretary of State on January 21, 2009. The request came from Doug Band, a long-time adviser to Bill Clinton who helped him setup the Clinton Foundation after his Presidency. Per the email exchange, Mr. Band reached out the State Department to ask a "favor" on behalf of a person who the Clinton Foundation had recently setup with a trip to Haiti which he found "eye-opening" (the name of the person seeking the favor was redacted from the email exchange). Yes, well trading taxpayer dollars intended for earthquake relief in exchange for lucrative gold mining contracts from the Haitian government can be quite "eye-opening" indeed (see our post "Clinton Cash: "Devastating" Documentary Reveals How Clintons Went From "Dead Broke" To Mega Wealthy").

In an exchange from April 2009, a longtime aide to Mr. Clinton told three of Mrs. Clinton’s top advisers that it was “important to take care of” a particular person, whose name has been redacted from the document. That person had written the aide, Doug Band, under the subject line “A favor…” to thank him for the “opportunity to go on the Haiti trip,” which the person called “eye-opening.” Mr. Band was a chief adviser in helping Mr. Clinton launch the Clinton Foundation after leaving the White House.

Another request came from Gilbert Chagoury, a long-time associate of the Clintons with a checkered past. Chagoury is known for his ties to Nigeria’s military dictator, Sani Abacha, who was instrumental in helping him secure some lucrative construction contracts in the mid-90s. In 2003, Chagoury helped organize a trip to the Caribbean where former President Bill Clinton was "paid" $100,000 for a speech. Chagoury has also made bribes contributions to the Clinton Foundation of between $1-$5 million. Per the Wall Street Journal:

“We need Gilbert Chagoury to speak to the substance person re Lebanon,” Mr. Band wrote in April 2009. “As you know, he’s key guy there and to us and is loved in Lebanon. Very imp.”

Mr. Chagoury, a Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire, has donated between $1 million and $5 million to the foundation, according to its disclosures.

Ms. Abedin responded with the name of the State Department official, Jeff Feltman, who had served as a U.S. ambassador to Lebanon before becoming U.S. assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern Affairs. “I’m sure he knows him,” she wrote. “I’ll talk to Jeff.”

Fifteen minutes later, Mr. Band shot back: “Better if you call him. Now preferable. This is very important.”

In yet another email, Clinton chief of staff Cheryl Mills wrote to Hillary to inform her that the NSA was working on a modified blackberry that could be used for personal emails while working in restricted State Department offices. Even though Clinton thought this was "good news" she continued to just use her personal server anyway. Per the AP:

In another email, Clinton's chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, informed her that National Security Agency and State Department officials discussed an attempt to develop a modified blackberry for Clinton that might be used when she worked in a restricted State Department office that did not allow private phones.

So why were these emails not included in the original disclosure to the FBI? Could it be possible that Hillary believes that using her position as Secretary of State to setup meetings between former U.S. Ambassadors and shady international businessmen is somehow "personal" in nature? Makes you wonder what else was excluded from the FBI disclosures that was purely "personal." Guess we'll just have to elect her to find out if we can trust her.

Leaked Podesta Emails Show Bernie Sanders Was Right About Hillary's Ties To Wall Street

Mainstream media is today getting its knickers in a twist about something Donald Trump said in a private conversation in 2005. Apparently the thoughts Trump was sharing with a friend could be summed up as expressing a belief that women are shallow creatures and are easily impressed by wealth and power. I've said worse in private conversations with male friends (and can testify to the truth of what The Donald said, when I was earning a lot of money, holding influential positions, wearing designer suits and hand made shirts and shoes and driving upmarket cars, there was never a shortage of attractive women willing to throw themselves at me in spite of my being married. Sorry Liberals and 'progressives' , the world is not the way you would like it to be, and due to a little thing called human nature, never will be.

Most men, by a huge majority I'd guess, have spoken crudely in male company. Women too, crude humour is not exclusive to men. So what was all the fuss about? There are grounds for thinking it was a diversionary tactic to distract from the really big election story.

It could be coincidence of course that on the same day as the story of Trump's comments broke, Wikileaks released a tranche of emails from the account of Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta. There is a lot of damaging information in these, so damaging it should obliterate any chance Hillary had of becoming president, but previous email leaks and ongoing scandals should have finished Clinton ten times over by now. The documents leaked on Friday certainly bestow credence to the argument Bernie Sanders made months ago that Clinton is a self interested, money grubbing cheat and cannot be trusted to govern failrly. The non event of Trump's tape obfuscated Hillary Clinton's really nasty October surprise.

On Friday, WikiLeaks revealed it had possession of nearly 50,000 emails from the email account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. More than two thousand of them were published. The Clinton campaign would not confirm the authenticity of the emails, but a series of Podesta tweets seemed to indicate that his email was compromised.

Statements attributed to Clinton, which were gleaned from documents but have yet to be authenticated, were made privately, in speeches to investment banks and other Wall Street operators for which Clinton was paid fees totalling many millions of dollars. The content of the speeches shows her in the worst possible light: dishonest, hypocritical, out of touch, secretive and deeply involved in Wall Street crony capitalism. Thus they validate Bernie Sanders’ criticisms of her during the Democratic primary.

Senator Sanders, who had always presented himself as an independent democratic socialist, led an almost successful challenge to Clinton (it is rumoured that only extensive voter fraud by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party National Committee gave the nomination to Clinton. Sanders campaign and his supporters' enthusiasm was based on public frustration and anger at the political establishment's coziness with Wall Street, and the access to lawmakers afforded to corporate business leaders (pay - to - play); the revolving door between regulators and those they regulate, and how Washington’s political class has lost touch with America’s middle class. Much the same story is being played out in Europe of course, with nationalist and anti - immigration parties on the rise from Greece to Britain.

In one email in Podesta’s inbox, first reported by BuzzFeed, the Clinton campaign appears to summarize their candidate’s most shocking statements made during private speeches to Wall Street firms and other business organizations.

Anticipating the possibility of a leak of private speech transcripts, after the huge fees Clinton had demanded and received for ~~selling access to a potential president~~ speaking to bankers became a controversial issue during the Democratic primary season, Clinton Research Director Tony Carrk put together a memo with the most damaging quotes she had made in private speeches. Ironically, these were later leaked.

“I represented and worked with so many talented principled people who made their living in finance,” she said in one 2014 speech to Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, a firm that specializes in complex securities litigation on behalf of investors, according to the email that was sent to Podesta and other senior aides.

In a series of speech excerpts from April 2013 to January 2015, Clinton supported open markets in the Americas; speaks of the need for a “public and private position” while “back room discussions” are taking place; and complained that conflict of interest disclosures were unnecessary for politicians.

For Clinton, it is an embarrassing revelation that strikes to her greatest vulnerability: that she can’t be trusted, doesn’t mean what she says and is too close to the big banks, all at a time when she is struggling to generate enthusiasm among the young progressives who backed Sanders over her in the primary.

Perhaps the most damaging to Clinton—and most validating to Sanders—will be her fawning speeches about Wall Street—to Wall Street. In her remarks, Clinton appears to prove Bernie right. At a Goldman Sachs symposium in 2013, Clinton said that when she began traveling as Secretary of State, people would "yell at me for the United States and our banking system” causing the financial crisis".

In another sound bite, Clinton acknowledges she is out of touch: "I’m kind of far removed" from the struggles of the middle class and “growing sense of anxiety and even anger in the country” because of the fortunes (her word) that she and former President Bill Clinton currently enjoy.

She illustrates this in another speech, when she complains about the need for politicians to avoid conflicts of interest.Well Hillary Clinton, the multimillionaire who says she speaks to the working class, who addresses audiences of the unemployed and under - employed, telling them she understands their problems, even as she is wearing clothes that cost more that a working class family could expect to earn in a year, who accepted donations from defence contractors while serving as Secretary Of State, would know all about conflicts of interest wouldn't she.

Bernie Earns less In A Year Than Hillary Gets For One Speech To Bankers

Sen. Bernie Sanders released his income taxes details last wekend. It was his 2014 income tax details, anyway and did on Friday night. In journalism, releasing information at that off hour is what's called "a Friday news dump," usually an attempt to bury bad news.

They return showed that Sanders and his wife Jane jointly earned $205,271 for 2014, a good income, an income many people would cut off an arm and a leg for. Or to put it another way, Sanders made around $25,000 less for a whole year than his primary opponent, Hillary Clinton, earned from ONE SPEECH that she delivered to the great vampire squid of global capitalism, Goldman Sachs, which paid her a cool $225,000 for a 45-minute job of a speech, a fee that was paid to the once and would-be future White House resident on three separate occasions. (Because, as Hillary shrugged in a 2015 debate, "that's what they offered.")

In 2014, Hillary and her ex-president husband Bill Clinton earned just over $28 million, or a whopping 135 times as much as the Sanders household. And of course Hillary Medusa Rodham Clinton is a member of the billionaire Rodham clan. And yet she claims to speak for 'the poor' and some people are naive enough to believe her.

Well nobody ever claimed democracy is a perfect system, it's just better than all the others.
