As Support For Ukraine Is Waning Among Europeans, Pentagno Warns Biden War Fatigue In The USA Is Growning

 

In April 2022 the majority of Europeans who responded to opinion polling questions on Ukraine  “fully approved of” , continuing to provide weapons and ammunition, financial support and humanitarian aid to the government and people if Ukraine in that country's war with Russia, and furthermore wanted the economic sanctions already imposed on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 stepped up. Similar levels of support for the neo - Nazi government in Kiev were also recorded by opinion polls in the USA.

However, by the third quarter 2023 similar polling shows a significant mood change with none of the measures that previous had overwhelming support now being backed a majority of EU or US citizens.

In a meta analysis of polling results, support for providing humanitarian aid to people affected by the war was found to have dropped from 64 percent last year to 47 percent. Support for welcoming without question Ukrainian refugees into the European Union decreased from 55 percent to 36 percent, while approval for the continuation of economic sanctions against Moscow has dropped from 55 percent to 46 percent.

Similarly, just 26 percent of Europeans now totally agree with the European Union providing financial support to Ukraine, down from 42 percent, and only 24 percent totanowlly agree with the supply of military equipment to Kyiv.

In fairness we should point out that all of the above categories, with the exception of supplying military equipment, still garner a majority of support when factoring in those who opted for “somewhat agree,” but the latest polling show a trend diminishing support for a conflict that after eighteen months seems no nearer a solution.

Ukraine was dealt a heavy blow earlier this month when Poland, one of Kyiv’s staunchest allies in the conflict against Russia, announced it would no longer be supplying weapons to its neighbor and would instead be focusing on stockpiling its own national defenses.

And the war fatigue effect is not confined to Europe. Over the weekend the US Congress, in a last minute bi partisan deal, passed its short-term funding package which narrowly avoided a government shutdown only by removing from the appropriations money allocated for financial and military assistance for Ukraine. 

President Biden has warned that time is running out on available aid. He told Congress to "stop playing games" and agree to provide whatever funds and advanced weaponry the madman Zelenskyyyyy demands. Hardline Republicans however dug in their heels and refused to cooperate with the cognitively impaired president or whoever is pulling his strings (no prizes for guessing that person's name begins with O and ends with bama.)

"We cannot under any circumstances allow America’s support for Ukraine to be interrupted" the Biden said, and added, "We have time, not much time, and there’s an overwhelming sense of urgency." Biden vowed he will "not walk away" from supporting Kiev. It is not just the Republicans in congress that are distancing themselves from The White House's proxy war with Russia. Late on Saturday CNN reported a top a top US defense official warning the politicians as follows: 

"The Department of Defense "has exhausted nearly all available security assistance funding for Ukraine," offering stark warnings about the battlefield effects of failing to pass new assistance.

 

A sense of boredom with the war is also starting to set in among the electorate as the election draws near. A recent SSRS poll for CNN revealed a majority of Americans now believe that Washington D.C. should withdraw financial support to Kyiv and scale down shipments or armaments to the Ukrainian military who tend to treat multi million pound missiles as if they are fireworks at a carnival.

A total of 55 percent of respondents said that the U.S. Congress should not authorize further funding for Ukraine and 51 percent of those polled said that NATO’s largest contributor had already done enough to help the country.

Globalism Is Failing - All Roads Lead To Westphalia But There Will Be Trouble On The Way

It's probably wise to kick off with a word of explanation about that rather cryptic headline. "Where TF is Waestphalia? some people might well ask, others, knowing it is a region in Germany might wonder WTF it has to do with globalism. Also known as Westphalian sovereignty it is a principle in international law and diplomacy that each state has exclusive sovereignty over its territory. This underlies the modern international system of sovereign states and is enshrined in the United Nations Charter. According to the idea, every state, no matter how large or small, has an equal right to sovereignty. It is named after Peace of Westphalia (1648), which ended the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648) a conflict between Cathloic and Protestant forces in central Europe. 

The Westphalian peaked in the 19th and early 20th centuries, but has declined as certain wannabe global hegemons have used 'humanitarian intervention' as an excuse to meddling in the affairs of smaller states to remove regimes the globalists did not like and (usually) replace them with something far worse from the point of view of the people on whose behalf the intervention was launched.

At the moment the developed world is in the grip of several simultaneous crises, some engineered by the elites to advance their 'Great Reset' agenda, others the unintended consequences of tgos same elites' nefarious meddling and their inability to think things through properly. We have experienced many shocks in the past couple of years from the insanity of  the pandemic responses with its lockdowns, curtailment of personal liberties, mask and vaccine mandates and talk of vaccine passports and social credit systems and all to save us from a disease that was not likely to kill many people unless they were over 1000 years old or extremely ill before they caught it.

And in the amid all this disruption and the assaults on our freedom we ha Bond - villain - lookalike Klaus Schwab, superannuated neo - Nazi president of The World Economic Forum (WEF) proclaiming that the pandemic provided an opportunity for a 'Great Reset' and the world was never going back to how it was before, but in the 'New Normal' we would own nothing and be happy.

Politicians like the demented, geriatric, paedophile US President Joe Biden, the blustering buffoon and birthday cake addict Boris Johnson, Emmanuel Macron, the delusional French president who thinks he is a Roman God, and globalist academics at MIT,  University College London, Oxford, The Sorbonne, Heidleberg, Uppsala and around the world, proclaiming in chorus that we were “never going back to normal” and that we were going to have to accept the loss of many of our freedoms for the rest of our lives in order to combat the spread of COVID and 'Build Back Better.' 

People like Schwab competed to declare the beginning of the “Great Reset” and the launch of what the Davos gang who fly into the exclusive Swiss resort each year in their private jets to decice what iniquities can be imposed on the rest of us calls in the name of 'achieving net zero and saving the planet." ^.

  There have also been MANY political leaders who have strutted around on the speaking platforms and TV studios accusing opponents (conservatives mostly) of being “enemies of democracy.”

Such people (and they include most mainstream media journalistsd and pundits,) find nothing odd in claiming that their vision of “democracy” is based on removing individual freedom, suppressing free speech, medical tyranny and the forced expansion of cultural Marxism, or if their idea of democracy is government cooperation with corporate monopoly (in like with Benito Mussolini's definition of fascism,) and the erasure of our common culture and values, then who would not want to be seen as an enemy of “democracy.”

The globalists were really basking in the glow of their assumed victory. They thought they had us peasants by the scruff of the neck and that their agenda was all but assured. But as I have been arguing since last year, the money elites may have celebrated a little too early.

The great COVID hoax utterly failed if the goal was to implement longstanding mandates and restrictions across North America and Europe as has been hinted by Schwab and many neo - liberal politicians including Canada's Justin Trudeau and New Zealand's Jacinta Adern, both of whom claimed to be ;woke' liberals while imposing the most blatantly fascistic social controls of any free nation. 

If you want to know what the 'New Normal' would have looked like had the globalists succeded in delivering their agenda, just examine China with its endless lockdown cycles and digital vaccine passports which are an extension of the long established social credit system. The elites wanted that outcome for the west and they didn’t get it. They came close, but millions of Americans, Canadians and Europeans stood their ground and the cost to force us into compliance would have been too great.

Even Joe Biden has openly admitted that the pandemic is over (though he probably doesn't remember there was a pandemic.) They dropped the mandates because many large population nations were already experiencing civil unrest and the leaders they knew if that escalated into open revolt, they would lose.

If the goal of the pandemic fear factory was simply to get the population injected with the mRNA vaccines, here they also failed. With many states in the US 40% unvaxxed (according to official numbers) and the UK being caught in a lie, claiming only 3% were unvaccinated when unpublished figures held by the Office of National Statistics show the true figure is over 30% totally unvaxxed and even higher rates of refusal for second and booster shots. Many parts of the world have similarly large unvaxxed populations, there is a massive control group for the covid vaccines. If there are going to be constantly developing health problems associated the mRNA vax (like Myocarditis) then the public is going to know what caused them because of this control group. The globalists needed near-100% vaccination and they did not get anywhere close. Far too many people obviously value freedom more highly than the illusory safety of being a member of the herd.

The salvation of humanity lies in the fact that the elites simply do not understand the minset of we ordinary people, instead they assume we are a bovine, unthinking mass happy to go where we are diven, happy to comply with the instructions of authority figures even when those instructions are contrary to our individual or group interests. Instead, like Bonaparte's goats, we will follow only so far but unlike sheep will eventually realise we are being led to the (metaphorical?) slaughter and rebel. The behavioural scientists with their mathematical models of humanity greatly overestimated the public’s apathy when it comes to authoritarianism. The rebellion against COVID tyranny has been too large to brush aside and they will eventually be held accountable for their crimes against humanity.

But back to Westphalia and the iussue of national sovereignty, if the Globalists' power grab was somewhat premature and the propaganda promoting the implementation of global government had not completed its task, or there are still enough of us around who had a proper education that taught us to think for ourselves rather than the leftist indoctrination that has gradually replaced real learning in schools over the past 50 years, it is because We The People reacted strongly to what we saw happening in government and our national institutions. We recognised that the politicisation of education, healthcare, the police, the legal and criminal justice system, everything in fact has fallen under the influence of unelected bureaucrats and billionaire psychopaths. The first signs of rebellion came in 2016 when voters here in The UK defied the urgings of the political establishment, te media, the celebrity circus and Barack Obama who apparently though he was God-King of the Universe, and voted to leave the EU. Them America elected Donald Trump as President and in the following months anti EU and anti - Globalist parties in Italy, Germany and Sweden made big advances in elections. The recent election in Italy resulted in a landslide win for the conservative coalition and the new prime minister (and first woman prime minister), Georgia Meloni, gave a rousing victory speech this week which directly exposed the far-left invasion of western nations, globalism and the poisonous collusion with woke corporations to silence dissent. She called for a return to freedom, and what was the mainstream media response? They are calling her a “fascist.”

The Italian election is just a the latest manifestation of an ongoing trend, an awakening of the people to the imminent threats presented by globalists, and the globalists can’t stop it. The rise of centre right, nationalistic parties like Meloni's Brothers of Italy and The Sweden Democrats, Rassemblement Nationale in France, Germany's AfD and Vox in Spain are all popular rejections of globalism and its Cultural Marxist policies of attacking and undermining communities and the basic social unit, the family and against the centralisation of power and the politicisation of state institutions.

The fear among the elites is palpable and the more afraid they become the more oppressive and fascistic they become in trying to suppress dissent and corece people into complicity. Anti-globalism is now going mainstream, and as it does people are going to start looking for answers. Why have our economic conditions been so degraded? Why are we facing stagflationary crisis? Why are prices on everything continuing to climb? Why are all the world's leading economies dependent on debt to finance state activities> Why did we almost lose all of our civil liberties in the name of fighting a virus with a tiny 0.23% official median Infection Fatality Rate? Why are governments throwing money at a regime of neo - Nazi nutters to support their was against a post - Soviet tyranny? Why are pointless carbon controls being instituted in the middle of a supply chain crisis? Why are politicians and banks making everything so much worse?

The public outcry for a reckoning is growing and it’s the heads of globalists that will end up rotting on spikes around the landmarks of our cities if there is such a thing as natural justice. All roads to destruction lead back to them and the policies they have forced upon the populace. All roads to a better, more independent future with power held within communities can be traced back to Westphalia.

Yemen's brutal civil war slips into its fourth year

Last month Yemen's civil war slipped into its fourth year. It's a war without obvious good or bad guys: Security Council investigators have documented violations of international humanitarian law by all sides. UN human rights officials nonetheless claim that the "leading cause" of civilian casualties are airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition, which backs Yemen's President Hadi against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels and allied supporters of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh. The coalition's air operations may not be any more indiscriminate or lacking in precaution than Houthi artillery and missile attacks, but are certainly more powerful and widespread.

What is Britain's involvement in a war the UK government itself calls the world's largest humanitarian crisis? Limited, if ministers are to be believed.

Throughout the Yemen conflict, Saudi Arabia has remained by far Britain's leading arms export customer. Half of all UK exports of weapons and military equipment from 2013 to 2017 went to the Kingdom (up from 28% in 2007-11). Most were for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF), 151 of whose 324 combat aircraft are British-supplied, along with weapons, ground systems, parts and spares.

Faced with inevitable legal and political criticism, the UK government insists that it isn't responsible for - and cannot even necessarily know - how UK-supplied weapons are used after they have been shipped. Last July the High Court agreed (though activists are now applying to appeal that decision).

The reality of the UK's relationship with the Saudi military challenges this 'flog and forget' theory of arms control. Under a sequence of formal agreements between the UK and Saudi governments since 1973, the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and its contractors supply not only military 'hardware', but also human 'software'. Around 7000 individuals - private employees, British civil servants and seconded Royal Air Force personnel - are present in Saudi Arabia to advise, train, service and manage British-supplied combat aircraft and other military equipment.

Ministers have nonetheless assured Parliament that these support staff are strictly hands-off: "there is no British involvement in the coalition in targeting or weaponizing aircraft to undertake missions [in Yemen]". Likewise they insist that neither UK military personnel nor contractor personnel "are involved in the loading of weapons for operational sorties, nor are they involved in the planning of operational sorties".

Documents and testimonies we've gathered paint a more complicated picture. Over the past eighteen months, with the support of the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust, Katherine Templar and I have sought to map these British and British-employed personnel in Saudi Arabia, trying to understand their work and their experiences. Though their existence is hardly a secret, their precise numbers and functions have long remained obscure. The UK-Saudi agreements that govern their work are classified 'UK Confidential/RSAF Secret' and are closed from public release until 2027. Even UK ministers say they "do not have full visibility of the prime contractor's manpower footprint in Saudi Arabia, the detail of which forms part of the commercial arrangements underpinning the delivery of much of the contracted support and is therefore sensitive."

We've interviewed technicians, managers and officials from every level of this UK-Saudi 'footprint', backed up by individuals' written CVs and formal job descriptions. If they are no longer physically loading bombs, as ministers insist, they're still required to do almost everything else. A mix of UK company employees and seconded RAF personnel have continued to be responsible for maintaining the weapons systems of all Saudi Tornado IDS fighter-bombers, a backbone of the Yemen air war. They also work as aircraft armourers and weapons supervisors for the UK-supplied Typhoon fighters deployed at the main operating bases for Saudi Yemen operations, and provide deeper-level maintenance for Yemen-deployed combat aircraft.

These roles are underpinned by UK military commitments to Saudi Arabia that have never been disclosed to public or parliament. Our report discloses one of them, from a UK-Saudi agreement named 'Al Yamamah', which details how the UK will supply and support Saudi Arabia's Tornado fighter-bombers. MOD officials have confirmed that this secret 1986 agreement continues in force "as long as the programme lasts", despite more recent accords. (When in 2006 the UK's Guardian newspaper obtained an earlier, less detailed agreement which had been released "by mistake" to the National Archives at Kew, the MOD removed the files overnight, and claimed their release "severely dented [Saudi] confidence in the [UK's] ability to protect sensitive information").

A similar inadvertent indiscretion seems to have been repeated: though the files containing the 'Al Yamamah' agreement remain withheld from public view, a bundle of unrelated Downing Street files, recently placed unnoticed in the National Archives, contains key extracts of the agreement.

As these papers show, the agreement requires that "United Kingdom civilian and military personnel will remain available in Saudi Arabia for preparation, including arming and support, of the [Tornado fighter-bomber] aircraft during an armed conflict" in which Saudi Arabia is involved, though these personnel may not "participate" in the conflict directly. The clause makes no reference to the authorisation or lawfulness of such a conflict.

British diplomats were concerned about the implications of this commitment from the start, lobbying within Whitehall during negotiations for the clause to be removed. "At worst", the Foreign Office's Middle East Department wrote to the MOD's defence sales division, "this [clause] could expose HMG to accusations that they were involved in an undercover role in any number of types of unlawful military adventures; at best, it might threaten to compromise British neutrality in armed conflicts between third States." Papers elsewhere in the National Archives show that the commitment was removed from a draft version of the agreement circulated within Whitehall six weeks before signature. It nonetheless seems to have been re-inserted into the final agreement at the last minute.

It's difficult for the UK government to argue that it cannot know much about how its arms supplies are used, when it is helping the Saudi armed forces to use them. Our research doesn't judge the rights or wrongs of the war in Yemen. But Britain's day-to-day involvement with these weapons systems gives it a duty of precaution to help prevent civilian harm from those weapons. The government also has a duty of care for the thousands of British citizens at work in Saudi Arabia in quasi-military roles, fulfilling UK MOD contracts but as employees of private companies, without some of the legal and physical protections of military personnel or public servants. Most of the individuals we spoke to described their time in Saudi Arabia as amongst the most professionally and financially rewarding experiences of their lives. But we also spoke with whistle-blowers left unprotected under Saudi Labour Law, and even deprived of their British passports while working (a practice which seems now to have ended). We met contractors who described occasional physical jeopardy, from Scud missiles to unexploded ordnance. And we interviewed technicians anxious about the legal ramifications of their work within a foreign military machine at war.

Members of the British Parliament from both sides of the house have called for an independent investigation into, recently appointed to the chair of the United Nations human rights council, being the most powerful player in the Yemeni conflict cannot be expected to lead an inquiry into human rights violations by its own military personnel.

 

A debate in the UK Parliament over the “ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen” saw members on both sides of the House of Commons demanding an embargo on British arms sales to Saudi Arabia.

Riyadh was also criticized for being “too slow” on delivering a report on alleged war crimes, including the intentional targeting of civilian areas.

Yemen, a nation of around 25 million people, has been mired in civil war since 2015, with a Saudi-led, US backed military coalition supporting the official government of Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi against an Iran-backed Houthi rebellion supporting former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Under the leadership of Barack Obama's bum chum David Cameron, Britain officially came out on the side of Saudi Arabia’s brutal theocratic regime and has provided armaments and military advice. Obama of course, throughout his eight year tenure as President of The United States was the world's chief sponsor and anuimator of terrorism and Islamic extremism.

Leading the debate Stephen Twigg, the Labour chairman of the International Development Select Committee, said an independent inquiry into the alleged breaches is “long overdue” and the progress made by the Saudis on their own investigations as “glacial.”

“To my knowledge, and the minister may be able to update us today, Saudi Arabia have produced nine reports on violations even though there have been many other allegations made.
“Progress I believe on this is glacial and I find it remarkable that the government still holds the line that Saudi Arabia must take responsibility for investigating its own alleged violations.”

Twigg's concerns were echoed by Foreign Affairs Minister Tobias Ellwood, who conceded the process had been lagging. But the Tory former infantry soldier argued the delays had been caused by the Saudis’ inexperience in writing such a report, and “having to learn the hard way to show the transparency that the international community expects.”
In December, UK Defence Secretary Michael Fallon confirmed the usage of British-made cluster-bombs by Saudi-led forces on the ground in Yemen. He claimed the targets military bases and not civilian.

However, even Condervative backbenchers seemed to have had enough of Saudi Arabia’s procrastination and demanded a halt to British arms licensing to the nation until a United Nations apponted inquiry has taken place.

Genocidists Go Free, But Only If They Are The New World Orders Genocidists.

I always liked Slobodan Milosevic. Not the man, he was an unpleasant bastard though not as evil as his reputation suggests, but the name. It sounded like somebody who should have been a character in a British children's TV show we all loved back in the 1950s (ooh, I am showing my age). Bill and Ben The Flowerpot Men (BBC video of early black and white episodes) appeared once a week in the Watch With Mother slot for pre-school children. The Flower Pot Men spoke a strange language that, even though it consisted of nonsense words like flobberdop, oddlepoddle and Gloobawaddlehop, we children had no difficulty understanding.

Slobbadobbadon, sorry I mean Solobadan, was a very different kettle of fish. Having become the leader of Serbia after the communist Yugoslav Federation disintegrated following the death of communist strongman dictator Tito, and things did not go well. In fact the downfall of Milosovic (after he had allegedly done some nasty things to non Serbs) was to set the pattern for future US / NATO regime change efforts.

After the bloodbath in Serbia that resulted in the US / NATO campaign to remove the Slobbodian regime, the western powers were anxious to justify their 'humanitarian' bombing of Serbia. The Balkan War was anything but humanitarian of course, though British Prime Minister Tony Blair invoked the Holocaust and demanded action against “this new Hitler”. David Scheffer, the US ambassador-at-large for war crimes (Washington truly has no sense of irony), declared that as many as “225,000 ethnic Albanian men aged between 14 and 59 may have been murdered by Milocevic’s forces.

This was the justification for Nato’s bombing, led by Bill Clinton and Blair, that killed hundreds of civilians in hospitals, schools, churches, parks and television studios and destroyed Serbia’s economic infrastructure. It was a purely ideological attack; at a notorious “peace conference” in Rambouillet in France, Milosevic was confronted by Madeleine Albright, a bloodier and more war crazy US Secretary of State than Hillary Clinton, who was to achieve infamy with her remark that the deaths of half a million Iraqi children were "worth it".

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague has quietly and posthumously cleared the late Serbian president, Slobodan Milosevic, of war crimes committed during the 1992-95 Bosnian war, including the massacre at Srebrenica.

Far from conspiring with the convicted Bosnian-Serb leader Radovan Karadzic (who did maliciously slaughter a lot of people), Milosevic actually "condemned ethnic cleansing", opposed Karadzic and tried to stop the war that dismembered Yugoslavia. Buried near the end of a 2,590- page judgement on Karadzic last February, this truth further demolishes the propaganda that justified NATO’s illegal onslaught on Serbia in 1999.

Milosevic died in his cell, of a heart attack in 2006, during what amounted to a bogus trial in The Hague by an American led “international tribunal”. Denied heart surgery that might have saved his life, his condition worsened and was monitored and kept secret by US officials, as WikiLeaks has since revealed.

Milosevic was the victim of war propaganda that today runs like a torrent across our screens and newspapers and beckons great danger for us all. He was the prototype demon, vilified by the western media as the “butcher of the Balkans” who was responsible for "genocide", especially in the secessionist Yugoslav province of Kosovo. Prime Minister Tony Blair said so, invoked the Holocaust and demanded action against “this new Hitler”. David Scheffer, the US ambassador-at-large for war crimes [sic], declared that as many as “225,000 ethnic Albanian men aged between 14 and 59” may have been murdered by Milocevic’s forces.

It was blatantly ideological; at a notorious “peace conference” in Rambouillet in France, Milosevic was confronted by Madeleine Albright, the US secretary of state, who was to achieve infamy with her remark that the deaths of half a million Iraqi children were "worth it". War crimes are not war crimes it seems, if your on the winning side.

As in Iraq however, Flobbergob's butchers were not the primary victims of NATO bombs and missiles. All but a fraction of America’s much hyped “precision guided” bombs missiles hit not military but civilian targets, including the news studios of Radio Television Serbia in Belgrade. The same precision weapons are still in use, having demonstrated recently their ability to home in on and destroy the only wedding, funeral or child-naming ceremony in a 1000 square mile area, no matter what military target they were programmed to obliterate. Blair described the dead at the Radio and TV station as part of Serbia’s military "command and control" system.

In 2008, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, Carla Del Ponte, revealed that she had been pressured not to investigate Nato’s crimes. Why would the allies want to investigate, the whole thing had served the allies geopolitical aims so well it could have been planned by Washington and NATO. Oh .... ummmm, you don't think - you know - do you?

The truth is the Balkans War was never justified on 'humanitarian' or any other grounds. The USA and NATO were hellbent on destroying Europe's last independent communist state, wanting to draw the Balkan States into the EU and NATO partly for strategic reasons related to surrounding Russia with US missile bases, partly for reasons relating to globalist geopolitical ambitions. Albright delivered an “offer” to Milosevic that no national leader could accept. Unless he agreed to the foreign military occupation of his country, with the occupying forces “outside the legal process”, and to the imposition of a neo-liberal “free market”, Serbia would be bombed.
Once Nato began bombing, there was a stampede of Kosovar refugees “fleeing a holocaust” (a stampede that has been flowing ever since, flooding the European Union's member states with culturally alien, unskilled, semi - literate migrants). When the bombing was over and Milosevic had surrendered, international police teams descended on Kosovo to exhume the victims of Blair's new "Holocaust". The FBI failed to find a single mass grave and went home. The Spanish forensic team did the same, its leader angrily denouncing "a semantic pirouette by the war propaganda machines". The final count of the dead in Kosovo was 2,788. This included combatants on both sides and Serbs and Roma murdered by the pro-Nato Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). There was no genocide. The NATO regime change campaign was a fraud and a war crime. So serial rapist Bill Clinton, serial war criminal Tony Blair, Madeline Albright and other NATO leaders should have been the ones on trial.


As this blog has told you many times, it is the west, the USA and NATO that pose a real threat to world peace. In 1995 Russia was rebuilding after the collapse of the Soviet regime, China was quietly modernising in the far east. As the global political balance stands now, the regime change war on Serbia could not have happened. And by extrapolating that, the wars in Libya and Syria, regime change in Ukraine, the emergence of Turkey as a rogue state in NATO, the rose of ISIS, the European immigration crisis and the new cold war would not have happened.

US Provides Additional $20million in Response to Refugee Crisis in Europe

The United States has allocated additional $20 million in response to the current migrant crisis in Europe, the US State Department announced in a press release on Monday.

“The United States announces $20 million to support efforts by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the International Federation of Red Cross/Red Crescent (IFRC) to respond to increased protection, shelter, and other lifesaving assistance throughout Europe, including in Greece, Western Turkey, and the Balkans,” the release said.

This latest injection of cash brings the total U.S. humanitarian assistance for the refugee and migrant crisis to nearly $44 million since the start of the crisis last year. It's certain US taxpayers are not going to like this news and we can imaging Mr. Trump making political capital out of it soon, but to Europeans it seems like justice as the crisis is to some extend due to the Obama Administration's meddling in the domestic politics of middle eastern and north African nations.

Today’s announcement includes $17.5 million for UNHCR’s Regional Refugee and Migrant Response Plan for Europe, $2 million for IFRC’s revised Emergency Appeal for Greece, and $500,000 for UNFPA’s Initial Response Plan for Refugee and Migrant Women and Girls in South-Eastern Europe.

The new funding will allow UNHCR to provide emergency and life-saving assistance for refugees and migrants, support the creation of adequate reception arrangements and management, enhance protection monitoring, assist authorities with registration and identification of new arrivals, enhance counseling to new arrivals and persons on the move, strengthen public information and advocacy strategies, and enhance communication efforts to inform communities of origin of existing and legal ways to enter Europe, according to the US government press release.

The contribution from the United States also fund work with the Hellenic Red Cross to respond to the needs of some 200,000 people, with a focus on providing basic food and non-food items, first aid, water and sanitation.

Money allocated to UNFPA will be used in helping prevent gender-based violence (GBV) and address sexual and reproductive health needs for refugees and migrants in Greece by providing rape kits and bolstering the technical skills of providers to respond to GBV.

The USA says it will continue to support those affected by this crisis while working closely with humanitarian organizations and with countries in the region.
