E U Launches A New Attack On Free Speech, Claiming They Are Defending Democracy

The European Union (EU) loves talking about freedom, democracy and human rights but beneath the high minded rhetoric prefers censorship and surveillance to any of those things.. Just look at the press releases launching its latest attack on free speech in the name of protecting against any threat to democracy, such as Germany's AfD, a framework for the suppression of debate called the European Democracy Shield, which promises to protect everything from “free people” to “free elections” to — this being Brussels — “a vibrant civil society”. All admirable stuff, perhaps, at least on paper. In reality, though, the Democracy Shield is just the latest vision in unfreedom: digital surveillance, suppressing dissent, imtroducing censorship and policing free speech under the pretext of defending democracy and human rights from misinformation, disinformation, foreign interference and fake news.

Dictators, including bureaucratic dictators, always make a priority of shutting down free speech and criminalising criticism of the regime. If the cap fits ........./.

As part of the Democracy Shield, the E U Commission proposes the creation of a Content Monitoring Centre which would identify and remove “false content” and “disinformation” from the internet. As Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice President for Security and Democracy, stated, the Shield will enable Europe to “respond faster and more effectively to information manipulation and hybrid threats”.

The EU’s High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, made no secret of the anti-Russian nature of the initiative: “we are seeing campaigns, including from Russia, specifically designed to polarise our citizens, undermine trust in our institutions and pollute politics in our countries.”

One may ask if the Brussels bureaucrats plan to do anything about protecting people from the minisformation, propaganda and downright lies about Russia being spread by mainstream media, or the deafening silence over Ukraine's latest corruption scandal which has revealed how monies donated by EU and NATO nations to fund the war against Russia has ended up in the pockets of Ukrainian oligarchs and associates of the crooked comedian president, Zelensky.

For years Brussels has been preaching “freedom” while quietly building the biggest censorship machine Europe’s ever seen. The shiny new “Democracy Shield” sounds like something out of a Marvel Comics superhero blockbuster, but it’s really a bureaucratic cosh aimed squarely at anyone who strays from the approved script. In its intended effect The Democracy Shield is similar to the UK Labour government's Online Safety Bill which tries to protct people from seeing anything the government does not want them to see. The authoritarian left has always tried to cover its malfeasance by suppressing free speech.

Behind the PR fluff sits a Monitoring Centre with the power to scrub “false content” from the internet. And who decides what’s false? Who decides what is mininformation, disinformation or 'hate speech'. You will not be surprised to learn it is the same Eurocrats and media outlets who’ve been caught peddling propaganda lies on Russia, Net Zero, Immigration, Crime, COVID, And Donald Trump themselves — from von der Leyen’s fantasy about Russian GPS jamming to the BBC’s creative editing of a Trump speech.

Then comes the money hose. Billions in EU cash poured into NGOs, research, academic publications, newspapers and “independent fact-checkers” who, by sheer coincidence, all push the same pro-Brussels, anti-national, progressive line. This isn’t civil society, it’s a taxpayer-funded campaign to gas light the taxpayers.

The EU claims it’s defending democracy. In reality, it’s strangling it one regulation, one fact-checker, one silenced critic at a time. Social instotutions at all levels have been perverted by what the French call the Pensée unique, from political debate in the media, through everyday dialogue to education. But education has shown us such social engineering does not work.

Schoolkids have been exposed to leftist nonsense for 20+ years now, but as we see they are some of the most right leaning part of the electorate. The rise of Trumpism and the siccess of [eople like Charlie Kirk in the USA, Tommy Robinson in Britain, Marine le Pen in France and Geert Wilders in Netherlands are part of the backlash.

Support for Transgenderism and LGBT Pride is the lowest in 10 years. Many European citizens are sick and pissed off at the constant exhortations to support Ukraine and are aware that whenever a peace inititiative is put forward it is the crazy Ukies rather than Russia that derails it.

So latest attck on free speech will be an expensive flop for the EU, which is par the course for the course. Peop;e will use VGPNs or blockchain systems to circumvent the censoring internet servers. Train Horror As Knife Rampage Leaves 10 in Hospital – Not Terror Attack Authorities Claim.

Thirty police officers and numerous ambulances rushed to the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) Doncaster to London King’s Cross service after it made an emergency stop in the Cambridgeshire town of Huntingdon as two men of Caribbean descent rampaged through the inter - city train randomly attacking passengers. The attack is believed to have begun shortly after the train left Peterborough.

In this latest outrage the two assailants, armed with machetes terrorised fellow travellers. Passengers are reported to have hid in toilets as one suspect carried a “big knife”, witnesses said, while others claimed they were trampled on as distressed passengers attempted to flee the chaos.

Armed police descended on the platform and “tasered a man waving a large knife”, bystanders also claimed.

Videos also emerged on social media showing police cars racing to the scene as armed officers raced to the platform at around 7.42pm on Saturday.

The motive for the attack is not known but there may be a religious element involved as several passengers involved in the attack reported one of the assailents kept saying, "The devil is not going to win." In the most blatant attempt yet to gaslight the public about this type of atrocity which is happening more and more often,the authorities claimed the attack was not terror related.

Britain is at boiling point as once again and civil conflict it closer as the authorities try to cover up the obvious racial and religious elements of this crime, in this case we have witnessed the authorities trying to deflect attention from the elephant in the room by spreading misinformation: they told us that the suspects were "British nationals," that the attack was not though to be terror related and that there was no racial or religious element.

A month ago we were hearing and seeing the same narrative in the aftermath of another knife weilding madman's attack on a Synagogue in Manchester. The reaction to this latest incident is so reminiscent of the government's idiotic reaction last year to the killing of three young girls in Southport when an attempt to cover up the truth about the killer's background and motove triggered violent protests.

In the past week alone in the past week alone, a refugee from Afghanistan has been charged with killing a dog-walker and stabbing two other people in Uxbridge, an asylum seeker from Somalia has been jailed for stabbing a bank customer to death in Derby, an asylum seeker from Sudan has been convicted of murdering a female member of staff from his migrant hotel in Walsall by stabbing her with a screwdriver, an asylum seeker from Libya has been jailed for chasing Bournemouth hotel staff with a knife because he didn’t like the free food they’d given him, an asylum seeker from Afghanistan has been found guilty of raping a teenage girl in Elgin, and an asylum seeker from Ethiopia who’d been convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in Essex was first accidentally released by prison staff, and then, upon recapture, was gien £500 by the Home Office in a desperate effort to dissuade him from trying to challenge his deportation. And still they try to tell us talk og an immigration crisis are just a far - right conspiracy theory.

I don't really care how they label the train stabbings - whether it's terror-related, gang-related, or linked to mental health issues. It doesn't make a difference to the bigger picture, and it doesn't change the underlying reality we face.

Calling someone a British national doesn't inspire confidence either; we have British nationals who can't even speak English, let alone embody the values of this country. Citizenship has become a technicality rather than a symbol of belonging or shared purpose.

The truth is undeniable: whether it's terrorism, organised crime, or the result of untreated mental health crises, we are living in a country far less safe than it was 15 years ago and seemingly drifting towards civil conflict. According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), knife crime in England and Wales rose by 9% in 2022 compared to the previous year, with over 50,000 recorded offences.

Despite having more laws on the books, we have fewer police officers on the streets to enforce them. The number of police officers per 100,000 people has dropped from 262 in 2010 to 228 in 2023. Our growing population, which now exceeds 67 million, is stretching already limited resources, leaving communities vulnerable and under-protected.

Public services are overwhelmed, with NHS waiting lists reaching a record high of over 7.6 million people in mid-2023, and the cracks in the system are widening with every passing year.

Our media, which should serve as a watchdog for truth and accountability, is blatantly dishonest. Sensationalism and bias have replaced objective reporting, and the public is left misinformed or manipulated. A study by the Reuters Institute found that only 34% of Britons trust the news they consume, one of the lowest levels in Europe.

Meanwhile, our government operates with an increasingly tyrannical approach, prioritising control and optics over meaningful solutions. The opposition fares no better, merely echoing what people want to hear without offering genuine alternatives. They engage in revisionist rhetoric, conveniently forgetting their own failures when they held power.

Our capital city, once a symbol of culture and opportunity, is now plagued by violent crime and a steady decline in tourism. London saw a 16% increase in homicides in 2022 compared to the previous year, and reports of thefts and muggings have surged by 25%. The streets that once bustled with visitors from around the globe now carry an air of unease.

Economically, we've been a basket case ever since the 2009 financial crash. The so-called recovery was a façade; bailing out bankers and handing out bonuses to the very people responsible for the crisis wasn't real economic repair work. It was a band-aid on a gaping wound, leaving the average citizen to bear the brunt of austerity and stagnant wages.

Real wages in the UK have fallen by 3% in the last two years alone, marking the steepest decline in decades.

Family life, the cornerstone of any strong society, has been fractured since the lockdowns. The isolation, stress, and disruption caused during that period created divisions that have only deepened over time. A survey by Mind revealed that 60% of adults in the UK reported a decline in their mental health during the pandemic, and the effects are still being felt today.

Relationships are strained, mental health issues are on the rise, and the sense of community that once defined neighbourhoods has eroded. These issues are compounded by the failings of self-serving politicians who prioritise their careers over the well-being of their constituents.

This misguided approach has left many feeling alienated and betrayed, as fairness and accountability are sacrificed for political correctness.

In 2022, Ofsted reported that nearly 40% of schools in England were rated as requiring improvement or inadequate in their ability to provide a safe and inclusive environment. The result is a generation growing up in a fragmented society, unsure of its identity and future.

Together, these factors have crippled what was once a great nation. A country that once stood as a beacon of stability, opportunity, and unity now finds itself grappling with division, insecurity, and decline. If we are to reclaim what we've lost, we must confront these issues with honesty and a collective determination to rebuild - not just patch up - a broken system.

Davos 2025: Trump And Milei Stun Globalists With Dissenting Speeches

Newly sworn in US President Donald Trump yesterday addressed the globalist wammabe world government in their den at Davos, Switzerland by video link and told them bluntly that America is not playing their games of censorship and information cotrol any more.

“I’m pleased to report that America is a free nation once again,” Trump announced, adding “On day one, I signed an executive order to stop all government censorship.”

“No longer will our government label the speech of our own citizens as misinformation or disinformation, which are the favorite words of censors and those who wish to stop the free exchange of ideas and, frankly, progress,” Trump streesed, adding “We have saved free speech in America, and we’ve saved it strongly.”

Trump also told the gathering of billionaires and bureaucrats “With another historic executive order this week, I also ended the weaponization of law enforcement against the American people and frankly, against politicians, and restored the fair, equal, and impartial rule of law.”

Nonogenarian neo - Nazi WEF President Klaus Schwab sounded like he was biting his own tongue off when announcing Trump as the President of the United States.

Another voice of dissent from the globalist orthodoxy heard at Davos this week was that of President Javier Milei of Argentina who addressed the World Economic Forum (“WEF”) audience in Davos itself. His presence at the WEF forum was part of his first overseas tour since taking office in December 2023. The speech was a direct challenge to the traditional views held by WEF and the attendees of its annual meeting. He made bold statements, criticising the global elites and their policies, and criticised the organisation’s vigorous promotion of a global woke agenda.

President Milei, who is known for his libertarian and anarcho-capitalist views, warned that the Western world is in danger due to abandoning the model of freedom for collectivist ideologies and adoption of socialist policies.

Milei argued that collectivist experiments are not the solution to global problems, but rather the root cause, citing Argentina’s experience of adopting a model of freedom in 1860 and becoming a leading world power, only to decline to 140th globally after embracing collectivism over the past 100 years.

He said that free enterprise capitalism is the only possible system to end world poverty and the only morally desirable system to achieve this goal.

The Argentinian politician lso argued that the concept of social justice is in reality unfair and violent, as it relies on coercive taxation and restricts individual freedom, with higher tax burdens and bigger government bureaucracies leading to less freedom. He reminded the audience that the market is a discovery process where businesses succeed by offering quality products at attractive prices, and state intervention can destroy incentives and lead to contraction of successful economies. Collectivism, he said, hinders the discovery process and prevents entrepreneurs from offering better goods and services, ultimately harming society.

All in all it was an uncomfortable week for planned economy and managed society enthusiasts of the WEF.

Southport Killer Rudakubana Pleads Guilty - Starmer and Police Guilty of “Gigantic Cover Up” Sys Farage (and just about everybody else with a brain

On hearing thar Axel Rudakubana pleaded guilty to the murder of three young girls and a terrorist offence on the first day of his trial, Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said the Government had behaved “abominably” from day one.

Mr Farage, we recall, was prevented from asking questions in Parliament about the background of Rudakubana and whether he was known to the authorities, and said the riots that followed the murders were caused by the withholding of information from the public, rather than the stabbings themselves.

As Starmer and his corrupt ministers tried to suppress discussion of the murders by accusing anyone who speculated that the attack was the work of somebody with terrorist links of spreading 'misinformation' and ;Islamophobia,' there was actually no need for conspiracy theories. Local residents in Southport and nearby Liverpool who knew thar Rudakubana was an Islamic extremist nutter had plastered his name and his interest in Al Qaeda all over Social Media.

So in denying that the attack was terror related and presenting this madman as an angelic Christian boy from a respectable family, members of the Labour government were knowingly lying to the public. Their excuse? The usual, and more than usually unacceptable giver the circumstances, fallback: They "had to avoid arousing racial tensions."

Farage, in Washington D.C., for the inauguration of President Donald Trump, told the Telegraph that he had learned shortly after the murders that Rudakubana had been expelled from school for possessing a knife at the age of 13.

This led Farage and millions of British citizens to suspect Rudakubana might have been known to the authorities.In fact Axel Rudakubana was referred to the Government’s Prevent anti-extremism scheme three times before launching his attack in Southport.

The killer was first referred to the anti-extremism programme as a 13-year-old schoolboy in 2019 when teachers became concerned by his obsession with school massacres. Two years later, post lockdown, Rudakubana was flagged to Prevent twice more after it was discovered he had been showing an unhealthy interest in terrorism, including the jihadist attacks of 2017 and incel-related violence.

However, the referral was not escalated as it was decided that Rudakubana did not hold a terrorist ideology – the same reasoning used by police to justify the initial failure to charge him with terrorism offences.

The Elite's Main Failing Is Their Inability To Take Resposibility For Their Failures

While America's Democrats (philosophically progressive liberals and radical socialists,) continue to blame victorious Republican candidate Donald Trump, along with stupid voters, Elon Musk, misinformation, conspiracy theorists, racism, sexism, Christianity, bad pizzas and El Nino and Zionism for their humiliating defeat in America's election, they are deluding themselves.

Meanwhile across the Atlantic in Britain the socialist government of the Gaybour party, having won a resounding victory in our election mostly due to our dysfunctional electoral system rather than their popularity, and now learning that they did not win because they and their policies are popular, but because they are slightly less unpopular among the public than their predecessors.

One quality these elites share is their failure or inability to accept responsibilityfor their failures. Thus, instead of asking themselves why they are already less popular than the previous government, Gaybour are blaming Donald Trump, stupid voters, Nigel Farage, misinformation, homophobia, non - crime hate incidents, Anti - Semitism, Tommy Robinson, social media, Islamophobia, fossil fuels and Vladimir Putin for the fact that people are rioting in protest against their far left programme.

The thing the Democrats and Labour Party have in common is that in common with leftist parties all around they world is both are incapable of seeing their own shortcomings and therefore understanding why the voting public do not engage with their radical policies. Both are completely out of touch with the people they are elected to represent.

Apart from wasting taxpayers money on virtue signalling and vanity projects and becoming obsessed with pursuing projects that adversely affect the wellbeing and prosperity of low and middle income voters while producing no discernable benefit for the great majority of voters, things like net zero, mass immigration and manadatory medication, their control freakery and deteermination to expand the bureaucracy to enable micro - management of every aspect of public and private life can only alienate voters.

Don’t they realize that their compulsion to impose regulation on all activities is crushing humanity, endangering the structure of civilised societies and causing loss of life and loss of livelihood? That there has never been such an anti - human agenda in the history of mankind. The insane logic of the 'woke' ideology is roughly the equivalient of telling a man that the only reason he cannot breathe is he has not been sufficiently strangled!

Actually the collapse of civilizations throughout history is invariably the product of such inane regulations driving a wedge between the people and the elite. When people rebel the elites try to justify murdering mankind with brutal “regulations” and then justifying the introduction of fascistic laws and policing by pointing to the civil disorder oppressive policies have created. No population has ever been regulated into prosperity or good health.

Were one to travel around the earth from end to end and observe the damages excessive regulations like those advocated by socialist and progressive politicians, how they have they have extinguished human industry, enterprise and prosperity would quickly become clear .

A classic case of a regulation that has no value whatsoever are the very similar prescription drug rules in the USA and UK that make you first go to the Doctor and then Pharmacy as in the USA. In almost every nation and people on earth can just go to the Pharmacy with slip of paper from an MD you just ask the Pharmacist (Chemist) for the drug and they sell it. Only in the case of dugs that can be dangerous if misused is there a need for tighter controls.

The list of such regulations in all walks of life and the bureaucracy they support creates only poverty and human misery. Yes I have been where the official perscriptions are not needed. Drug abuse is the very highest in lands where drugs are most tightly controlled. The system doesn’t even curb drug abuse, it causes it. People die because of this regulation and yet leftist politicians keep extending regulation and state intervention.

So liberals and socialists, dump the utopian rhetoric and the lies justifying your control freakery and take a good long look at yourselves if you want to undrrstand why voters turn against you. You are trying to terrorise people into accepting the yoke of slavery. (A yoke is a device you put on oxen to harness them to plow). Show some respect for our humanity.

Correction: Russia Did Not Hit Ukraine With An ICBM Yesterday - The Strike Weapon Was Something Worse

Yesterday we reported that Russia had launched a ICBM (Inter Continental Ballistic Missile,) at and struck a target in Ukraine. We were wrong, which is a risk always associated with using as a source misinformation published by US / NATO security agencies

A day after Russia's attack on Ukraine with what were clearly big, very fast and new intermediate-range missiles, and which both mainstream and alternative news outlets initially reported to be an ICBM, the Kremlin is touting that it launched a cutting-edge hypersonic missile for which there is no defensive intercept capability.

Russia says that Washington has now understood and been able to grasp Putin's warnings and red lines more clearly following the missile strike a Ukrainian defense industry facility in Dnepropetrovsk Thursday morning. The new hypersonic weapon, dubbed 'Oreshnik' is capable of delivering a nuclear warhead.

"We have no doubt that the current administration in Washington has had the opportunity to familiarize itself with this announcement and understand it," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. Putin had said the West's escalation, seen this week in authorizing Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russia with US/UK-made weapons, makes Ukraine a "global" conflict.

"The unique feature of the Oreshnik missile system is that, firstly, it is a medium-range missile – it flies to a distance of 1,000 km to 5,500 km – and secondly, it is hypersonic, flying at a speed of Mach 10," a retired Russian Army colonel and military analyst, identified as Viktor Litovkin, told Sputnik.

"The West does not have missiles that fly at such a speed or hypersonic missiles at all," he continued. "Although the US has repeatedly boasted that it has such missiles, it has never demonstrated a missile flight. They appeared to show missiles that flew at a supersonic speed of 5.5 times the speed of sound or Mach 5.5. However, hypersonic speed begins at Mach 6-7."

Independent geopolitical site Moon of Alabama describes this new missile technology as a huge game-changer [emphasis ZH]:

Launched from Russia the missile can reach any target in Europe in less than 20 minutes. On reentry into the atmosphere the warheads of the missile reach hypersonic speeds of 3-4 kilometer per second. There is no air defense system in the world that could stop them.

The surprising and successful demonstration of such an enormous capability is a wake-up call for European strategists.

Lulled in by neoconservative talk of western supremacy and presumed Russian inabilities the Europeans were eager to connect their fate to a proxy war against Russia. Having been defeated in the fight for the commodities of the Donbas region they have pushed for extending the reach of their weapons into Russia.

The results are now in. Europe is defenseless against new Russian weapons which can reach every political and industrial center of Europe with devastating power and with just minutes of notice.

It is now clear that by giving the insaniacs in Kiev permission and the means to strike inside Russia, the outgoing Dementiaman regime in the USA and the attention seeking, terrorist defending, rapist enabling, Jew hating, Paedophile loving sociopath Prime Minister in the UK effectively effectively declared war on Russia. That beig the case, let's hope Donald Trump, when sworn in, can deliver on his promise to end the war, not neccessarily on day one as he said, but within his first thirty days would be wonderful.
