AWhy Britain Must Leave European Convention On Human Rights And United Nations

 https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/b/european-court-human-rights-strasbourg-france-international-established-convention-93828388.jpg
ECHR building in Strasbourg (no luxury is too great for those who shit in judgement on us.)

In a case dragged up from nearly 20 years ago due to the debate about the UK leaving the terrorist - loving, criminal - friendly European Convention on Human Rights, a vicious Ugandan career criminal over here presumably to seek asylum from justice for his crimes in Uganda, joined a group of Romanian thugs in an attack on a rival gang in north London. One of the victims of the mass assault climbed into an ambulance in an attempt to get away from the gang. The attacking group simply went in after him and clubbed him to death amongst the life-saving equipment.

Caught, sentenced to life and recently released after serving over 16 years for his part in the murder, the Ugandan was understandably served with a deportation order. An immigration judge however blocked the deportation.

Why?

The reason cited was that the scumbag suffers from a mental health condition which could not be treated in Uganda, and to send him back there would amount to torture or inhuman treatment. To add insult to injury, the press were told they could not even name him since this would invade his privacy (despite his having been named in reports of the original trial): he had to be called ZM. That judgment was later   upheld on appeal.

"He had a mental health condition which could not be treated in Uganda, and to send him back there would amount to torture or inhuman treatment." What kind of cupid stunt would a judge have to be to spout that bunch of 'woke' verbal diorrhea?

Does the far left lunatic of a judge who came up with this pathetic excuse for allowing a dangertous criminal who has no right to be here, to stay in this country and inevitably commit other crimes? Perhaps there is no treatment in Uganda for Mr ZM (M for 'murderer' presumably) because Ugandan culture does not recognise the same mental health conditions as we do in the UK. Perhaps Ugandans would consider Mr M to be psychologically healthy and capable of facing trial or at least to be within normal bounds of criminal responsibility.

Perhaps Mr M might be a nutter in the UK, but a normal man by the standards of Uganda. In which case deportation would be a cure for him as he would instantly become culturally sane as soon as he stepped off the plane in Kampala.

What 'treatment' has Mr M enjoyed in prison that he could not have in Uganda? Whatever it is, it has been proven not to work as, after sixteen years inside, Mr M is considered by the judge still to be mentally ill. Is that a treatment then, if it goes on for sixteen years and has no effect? Presumably this 'treatment' that has been going on is simply some kind of suppressant pill that makes Mr M easier to handle and less dangerous towards fellow inmates and prison officers, in which case it is not a 'treatment for his mental health condition' in the sense that it might effect a cure or an amelioration, but simply a drug to prevent the social harms consequent on its free expression.

What is 'treatment' in the judge's mind? Is it 'restoration to health' or is it 'suppression of social consequences'? It could well be the case that, were Mr M deported to Uganda, he might suddenly feel himself far more at home and find that his mental health problem, whatever it is, rapidly diminished and disappeared once back among the embrace of his own people. Perhaps it has been a strain for Mr M to live in the UK among all the white 'raysists' and the impossible demands of European civilisation, and this has taken a toll on his mental health.

Perhaps the best route to restoring Mr M the Murderer's sanity is to send him back to Uganda as soon as possible, for his own good. Perhaps when he gets back to Uganda, it won't matter that there is no European-style 'mental health treatment' because he won't need it and no-one will consider it necessary and he will be regarded as not mentally ill. If he wants, Mr M can happily join a gang of Ugandan murdering thugs and live out his life as he pleases, for as long as it may last. Or perhaps he will settle down in Ugandan culture as a good Ugandan citizen. Who knows? The judge certainly does not. What the judge knows is that Mr M is incapable of functioning as a non-criminal in the UK, and that life in the UK makes him mentally ill, and that life in the UK has not prevented him from becoming a murderer and has turned him into a prisoner. But despite all these negatives for Mr M, the judge has decided to keep him here. Does that not 'amount to inhuman treatment'?

Apart from the fact that we now apparently required to accept and give succour to the criminal scum of the earth in spite of the danger they present to our people, for fear that the justice meted out in their homelands for crimes such as murder, rape, torture, arson, terrorism and violent robbery might contravene what some slimy perv of a judge considers to be their 'human rights', to treat them, house them, pay them at the public expence, and protect their delicate sensibilities by concealing their crimes behind a wall of anonmyity? What is doubly depressing is that this decision is correct as a matter of human rights law according to the Terrorist Loving, Criminal Friendly European Convention On Human Rights, which is not part of the EU but has ideological links to the United Nations. Which in turn ought to convince anyone of decent sensibilities that there is something seriously rotten in the European Convention on Human Rights when it protects the rights of scumbags to violate the rights of law abiding citizens.

Julian Assange Loses Appeal: British High Court Accepts U.S. Request to Extradite Him for Trial

Press freedom groups have warned Assange’s prosecution is a grave threat. The Biden DOJ ignored them, and today won a major victory toward permanently silencing the pioneering transparency activist. In a London courtroom on Friday morning, Julian Assange suffered a devastating blow to his quest for freedom. A two-judge appellate panel of the United Kingdom’s High Court ruled that the U.S.’s request to extradite Assange to the U.S. to stand trial on espionage charges is legally valid.

Why Are The World Government Schemes, Agenda 21 and Agends 30 blanked by big media?
Since the early days on the old blog.co.uk platform we have from time to time raised the issues of Agenda 21 and Agenda 30, The New World Order, and the push for a global, authoritarian, socialist government. Any mention of these things in online forums is certain to get the author accused of being a conspiracy theorist, a right wing extremist, a nutcase, a young earth creationist and much worse.

Riots against police brutality in France after police put down protests against dictatorial Hollande
Another anti-police brutality protest turned violent in the French city of Rennes, with masked youths and police engaging in running street battles. The Ongoing Propaganda War Behind GMOs Exposed

Neo - fascist Left's Idiotic Obsession With Racism Becoming More Insane
I don't know how many of you have noticed but the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the politically correct left over imaginary racism has become fr moire irrational and hysterical since the success of UKIP the the European Parliament elections back in May. Will Bilderberg End Privacy As We Know It? Agenda Suggests The Elite Will Know Everything About You
The sinister and secretive Bilderberg Group are meeting in Copenhagen this week (June 1 -8, 2014). Forced by pressure from new media and public opinion to reveal some details of its proceedings the group, the existence of which was denied from it's inauguration in 1952 to the beginning of the current century, seems set on a course of increasing surveillance of private individuals legitimate activities. It seems the less of a threat you pose to society, they more these bastards feel they can exploit your very natural fears. It is not al Qaeda you need to fear, but the elite.

Young people on the internet are really, really cross that people voted UKIP
Ukip's unprecedented success at the local and European elections is baffling younger people and telling them one of the most powerful things a democracy can say: that a huge number of their fellow countrymen don't actually agree with them.
The reaction is a mixture of horror and sanctimonious revulsion; one individual says she is "genuinely a little disgusted to live in a country where 27% of voters voted for UKIP". In that case, my advice for her would be to take advantage of the freedom of movement within the EU and vote with her feet.

UK Government Pledges £22bn for Carbon Capture System That Already Proved Ineffective

The UK's recently elected Labour government has been lurching like a Staurday night drunk from crisis to crisis since two days after they were elected it seems. But like Saturday night drunks they lack self awareness and their ideologically led decision making is just piling up more and bigger problems for the months and years ahead (assuming they can last a year,) In its latest folly, the clown show in Westminster has pledged nearly £22bn for projects to capture and store carbon emissions from energy, industry and hydrogen production.

Carbon capture system (picture: Screenshot from GB News)

A statement said the funding for two "carbon capture clusters" on Merseyside and Teesside, promised over the next 25 years, would create thousands of jobs, attract private investment and help the UK meet climate goals, which is not simply bollocks but recycled bollocks.

The same promises were made for a scheme uing the same technology around 15 years ago. Yet now Sir Kweir SStarmer, on a visit to north-west of England with Chancellor Rachel Reeves and Energy Secretary Ed Miliband to confirm the projects, said the move would "reignite our industrial heartlands" and "kickstart growth".

The Brave New World type statement attracted widespread criticism with even some green campaigners complaining the investment would "extend the life of planet-heating oil and gas production".

Speaking at a glass factory in Cheshire, Sir Keir said: "For our energy intensive industries like glassmaking here, or cement, or steel, or ceramics, you are familiar with these, the security that the future belongs to them."

UK government over the past 20 years have so far spent £630 million on its CCUS programme, primarily through grants to support the early development of projects.

For example, it has spent almost £200 million through the Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge fund (which invests in developing carbon capture and storage technologies) and a further £346 million on research and development projects…..

The government does not have and is currently not developing a credible alternative pathway without the use of CCUS……

But the inherently challenging nature of CCUS remains, given the nascency of aspects of the technology. And (Department for Energy Security & Net Zero) DESNZ’s current approach brings new complexities to be managed, depending on parallel, interdependent negotiations with projects across different technologies. So its a non starter then, who would have though it.

Well somebody did.

Professor Gordon Hughes of Edinburgh University commented in 2023:

"The target of capturing 20-30m tonnes of CO2 by 2030 is absurd and always has been.’

‘Over the next decade conventional carbon capture will be little more than an experimental technology. I don’t know what will happen in the 2040s and there is a small probability that CCS might be viable by then but the history of the last 15 years suggests that the chances are really very low.’

‘To be blunt, CCUS is like a lot of the plans for net zero – just a series of technically and economically illiterate fantasies designed to avoid the reality that reaching such a target is probably infeasible and is certainly ruinous for any modern industrial economy."

It would be difficult to state the case against the scheme more clearly …… and £22bn won’t be enough:

‘DESNZ and HM Treasury have committed up to £20 billion to the early deployment of CCUS, responding to lessons they had learnt from past failings, but uncertainty remains around the funding available for future stages of the CCUS programme.

Treasury announced this commitment in the spring 2023 budget, but neither it nor DESNZ specified which elements of the programme are covered.

DESNZ and HM Treasury acknowledge that further funding will be required for the CCUS programme.‘

Another 'Nut Zero' case of shovelling money into a bottomless pit then.

A Few Thoughts For Our Times

Some people say we live in the age of deception, the post truth era. All is spin and dissemination, perception is all.

Here are a few things to hold on to from great thinkers of the past 1000 years.

Can you add, in the comments section, to the wisdom quoted here about why we should not subserviently and blindly believe in and bow to governmental, medical, scientific, educational, religious, or consensus authority?

> "Those who make you believe absurdity, can make you commit atrocity." - Voltaire

> Those who trade rights for safety, deserve neither.

> "Blind belief in authority is the greatest enemy of truth.” - Albert Einstein

> "We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.” -- Ayn Rand

> "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." - H L Mencken

> "The real meaning of enlightenment is to gaze with undimmed eyes on all darkness.” - Nikos Kazantzakis

> "The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became the truth.” - George Orwell

> "In our time political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible.” - George Orwell

> "The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks ... It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men.” - Samuel Adams

> "The greatest inequalities arise from efforts to make unequal thigs equal" Aristoltle

> "The power to lead is the power to mislead, and the power to mislead is the power to destroy.”
- Thomas S. Monson

> "Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.”
- P. J. O'Rourke

> "The real violence is committed in the writing of history, the records of the legal system, the reporting of news, through the manipulation of social contracts, and the control of information.” - Bryant H. McGill

> Power has the primary purpose of retaining and growing power.

> "The strongest bulwark of authority is uniformity; the least divergence from it is the greatest crime.”
- Emma Goldman

> "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” - Mark Twain

> Distance in time or geography lends power and enchantment to the prevailing view.

> What part of authority bothers you? The part where you have to make decisions for your own life? Or the part where you don't get to make my decisions for me?

> A wise and sage person is never recognized by the followers of authority.

> A governmental edict passed as truth that is too sacred to be challenged is already dead.

> The powerful must muffle the voices of those at odds.

> "The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all: it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed a standard citizenry, to put down dissent and originality.”- H. L. Mencken

> Have no respect for the authority of others, for there are always contrary authorities to be found. - B. Russell

> It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere. --Voltaire

> People are bad so we should put people in charge of other people.

> The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.

> Fear of being different forces people into group think.

> Fashion entrances every age without people realizing tyrants rule over them.

> Every human being is intended to have a character of his own; to be what no others are, and to do what no other can do. —William Ellery Channing (1780–1842)

> A few scientific and government approved "truths" that have become new "truths":

Goodbye To Coal And Common Sense – Labour Step Up The Lunacy

3 October 2024 .

On 28 June this year, the last train pulled into a railway goods yard near Nottingham and unloaded the final load of coal ever to be burned in a British power station.

The delivery was relatively small, just 1,650 tonnes. It would have powered the two million homes the Ratcliffe-on-Soar station served in its heyday for just two hours of continuous operation. But the plant’s production was, by summer of 2024, so negligable there was no longer need for the mountains of the black stuff normally stacked on land next to the rail terminus. This small load would be sufficient keep the boi for its last three months.

The demise of coal-fired electricity generation had been in progress for almost a decade. Asrecently as November 2015, the energy and climate change secretary Amber Rudd signed the death warrant when she announced all remaining coal stations would close by 2025, a date later brought forward by a year. ‘It cannot be satisfactory for an advanced economy like the UK to be relying on polluting, carbon-intensive 50-year-old coal-fired power stations,’ Rudd said, thus revealing that like all other politicians of her generations she was toltally ignorant of the tenchival and engineering realities of producing electricity and nive enought to believe everything she was told by scientists.

Clearing dirty coal away would not only help Britain hit its impossible ‘net – zero’ emissions targets and coerce the electricity companies into pursuing a greener, cleanere agenda reliant on unreliable, intermittent energy sources like wind and solar. The industry picked up the gauntlet. The year before Rudd’s announcement, there were still 14 plants across the country, accounting for a fifth of power consumption. Last year coal supplied just one per cent of electricity in the UK.

Ratcliffe has watched as the others wound down, Rugely, Eggborough, Ferrybridge, Cottam, Sranthorpe, Fiddlers Ferry, many of them along a U-shaped stretch of the River Trent that runs east from Stoke to the Humber – an area once known as Megawatt Valley. For the plant’s manager, the retreat remains a source of wonderment. Peter O’Grady, 54, began working for the state-owned Central Electricity Generating Board in 1988, two years before its privatisation. ‘When I started, more than 80 per cent of electricity came from coal and it would never have occurred to us that our careers might outlast it,’ he says. ‘Solar wasn’t on the scene and there was just a few hundred kilowatts of wind on the system. Coal was like the backbone, something you couldn’t do without.’

When Ratcliffe was built it, along with neary Drax, now a biomass (woodchips) fulled system, Fiddlers Ferry on Merseyside and Blythe in the north east, was at the cutting edge of Britain’s new electricity system. The country’s very earliest power stations had been tiny – producing a few hundred watts – and served only their immediate locality.

By the post-World-War-2 era, more efficient turbines had been developed, along with high-voltage electricity lines, which made it possible to transport power long distances without huge transmission losses. The newly nationalised power industry started to look at building a few giant centralised ‘super stations’ astride Britain’s main coalfields – which ran in a band across the Midlands into South Yorkshire. The grid made it much cheaper to move electricity around the country than it was to move coal to where the customers were. The thing was to put very large stations as close as possible to the mines and then hook them up by grid to the centres of demand.

The first super stations opened in the early 1960s. When Ratcliffe came on stream in 1967, it was only the second with 500 megawatt units. There were a dozen of these plants in construction, and we were building a whole new grid at the same time. The vision was to electrify the whole economy.

But even as the plants went up, cracks were appearing in coal’s long dominance. It was a time when the UK’s energy economy was changing and becoming more oil-dominated. Ewan Gibbs, an energy historian whose book Coal Country charts the decline of Scotland’s mining industry wrote, ‘Coal was being pushed out of areas like domestic heating and transport as this switched increasingly to oil,’ he notes. Demand for electricity was growing but, worried in part by the growing industrial militancy in the steadily declining coalfields, the UK was dabbling promiscuously in nuclear and oil-fired electricity.

The militancy eventually culminated in the miners’ strike of 1984-85; a walkout that was quelled by one of coal’s enduring virtues: its ability to be stored, cheaply and conveniently in piles around the power station where it is needed. The Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB) ensured its plants were plentifully stocked in anticipation of the battle, although in Nottinghamshire (where Ratcliffe accounted for 65 per cent of the local coalfield’s output) the miners elected to carry on working. Unable to extinguish the nation’s lights, kettles and televisions, the strikers ultimately gave up the fight.

Two events changed everything: first, Margaret Thatcher’s government changed the rules to make it easier for gas to be burned in power generation; second was privatisation in 1990. The power stations were turned into standalone businesses and the distribution companies were freed to buy from whichever generator offered the best deal. Ratcliffe was called on much less often. By the mid-1990s, its annual output had halved as the privateised industry opened gas-fired stations which were cheaper and quicker to construct – the so-called ‘dash for gas’. Units at Ratcliffe were now being switched off and on hundreds of times a year. Meanwhile, starved of contracts, the coal industry collapsed, its supplies increasingly supplanted by imported coal. Ratcliffe took its last indigenous delivery in 2013, when the Daw Mill pit in Warwickshire closed. More recently, supplies have come from blending coal imported from Australia and South Africa.

As output contracted, and with it their income, many coal-fired stations shut their doors, unable to fund the improvements required by tightening environmental legislation. Ratcliffe was fortunate: its new private owners, first PowerGen and, after 2001, the German utility E.On, were willing to keep investing. They put in a massive desulphurisation plant in the 1990s, and then systems to suppress nitrous oxide, an ozone-chomping gas also linked to respiratory diseases. The plant underwent an £850 million life extension in 2008. O’Grady attributes its favour to Ratcliffe’s reputation for good labour relations, which made it easier to introduce more flexible working practices.

But none of this new kit could get round the problem that loomed largest in the 2010s: carbon emissions. In 2005 the EU launched a trading scheme that forced power companies to buy credits if they wanted to emit carbon. Coal stations needed more of these credits as burning coal emits about twice as much carbon as gas. In 2013, the chancellor George Osborne turned the screw further by setting a floor price for credits, effectively creating a carbon tax. Its economics were ruinous for coal-fired stations. ‘We’d just finished our life extension upgrade,’ recalls O’Grady. ‘We thought we’d created a massive white elephant. Why would anyone need an asset like this any more?’

The history of decarbonising our power generation over the last thirty years is an utterly shameful, idologically driven, political folly. We have destroyed our chance to be industrially competitive with the rest of the world and made ourselves chronically and uniquely dependent on importing coal, oil and gas for our very survival. The much vaunted increase in power generation from renewables is still hopelessly inadequate for our energy needs with up to a third of the year having insufficient wind or sun to produce significant power. Yet we are now merrily accelerating this rush towards economic armageddon led by Kweir (Gizzabung) SStarmer, swivel eyed fanatic Ed Minibrained and the terrorist loving, Brtain hating Labour government.

It is not only an increase in renewables which has filled the gap of course, but imports. The average over the last 10 years was that imports provided 6% of our electrical energy needs but over the last year it was 11.9% and over the last week 12.7% . This damages out balance of trade at the cost of billions but who cares it only means increased prices for us poor punters.

Meanwhile, China and India build more and more coal power stations, and the world burned more coal than ever last year (8 billion tonnes, likely to rise to 8.5 billion tonnes this year). Everything that we have done concerning renewable energy has been stupid.

We have got rid of gas storage facilities, and nearly half our gas power stations are at the end of their lives, yet even Labour recognise we will need oil and gas for decades to come. We have done nothing to increase our nuclear baseload, and Miliband is weakening what little is coming. Our nuclear plants will be decommissioned soon.

We have already reached the stage that we are turning off turbines because at times of optimum wind conditions they are generating too much power for the grid to cope with (and paying a high price for it), yet we are building more capacity. New connections to the grid are backed up to 2036, and already we see charging stations for EVs having to be supplied by diesel generators.

At the same time this virtue signalling government (and the previous lot to be fair, have been pushing Electric Vehicles on people when the natiinal grid and charging infrastructure are hopelessly inadequate. Many people cannot charge cars from home, and many more have an inadequate local supply to support EV charging or 24 hour heat pump operation which will result when the government mandates switching from gas boilers. Industry expers extimate our baseload (24 hours a day, 365 days a year steady demand will more than double and the entire distribution system from generation point to domestic and business premises will have to be replaced.

We still have no idea how to cope with a cold, calm, windless winter fortnight as has happened three times in the past five years. Renewables produce almost nothing, and the interconnectors will not be supplied because our European suppliers wil have the same problems as ourselves. We have less than 1% of the storage capability we need, and no technology to increase it. Yet as the UK is shutting down its last plant, the Germans are now strip mining dirty lignite coal to burn in their power stations because by 2022 their clean, green, net zero experiment had failed miserably and shutdown of cheap gas and oil sullpies from Russia crippled the national economy.

When the history of the rise and fall of Europe is written, it will start with the Industrial Revolution and reflect on how the collective insanity of eco-cide led to de-industrialisation and people dying of cold in winter. All of this could have been avoided, but for the fanatics who shouted down any rational discussion. The history will also reflect that the UK and other European nations thought they could set an example for others to follow, yet the Chinese, Indians and other Asian countries industrialised and emitted more than the UK and Europeans reduced by, ultimately proving it to be a foolish errand

Twelve Weeks In Power And Labour MPs Are Quitting As Party Embraces Authoritarian Governance

Rosie Duffield, the UK Member of Parliament for Canterbury, who has in the past compared being a Labour MP in Kweir Starmer's party to being on an abusive relationship, has sensationally quit as a Labour MP, and hast written a scathing resignation letter criticising Prime Minister Starmer’s policies to scrap winter fuel payments for millions of pensioners and also his decision to retain the two-child benefit cap for parents.

In the three-page letter, published in the Sunday Times, reproduced in full below and available all over the internet, she also slammed hostility to women in the party (stongly hinting at what we are not allowed to mention about Kweir's lifestyle choices,) his treatment of fellow MP Diane Abbot, as well as his “authoritarian style and technocratic approach to governing.”

She plans to sit as an independent MP. Here is her letter in full:

Dear Sir Keir,

Usually letters like this begin, "It is with a heavy heart..." Mine has been increasingly heavy and conflicted and has longed for a degree of relief.

I can no longer stay a Labour MP under your management of the party, and this letter is my notice that I wish to resign the Labour Party whip with immediate effect.

Although many "last straws" have led to my decision, my reason for leaving now is the programme of policies you seem determined to stick to, however unpopular they are with the electorate and your own MPs.

You repeat often that you will make the "tough decisions" and that the country is "all in this together". But those decisions do not directly affect any one of us in Parliament. They are cruel and unnecessary, and affect hundreds of thousands of our poorest, most vulnerable constituents.

This is not what I was elected to do. It is not even wise politics, and it certainly is not "the politics of service".

I did not vote for you to lead our party for reasons I won't describe in detail here. But, as someone elevated immediately to a shadow cabinet position without following the usual path of honing your political skills on the backbenches, you had very little previous political footprint. It was therefore unclear what your political passions, drive or direction might be as the leader of the Labour Party, a large movement of people united by a desire for social justice and support for those most in need.

You also made the choice not to speak up once about the Labour Party's problems with antisemitism during your time in the shadow cabinet, leaving that to backbenchers, including new MPs such as me.

Since you took office as Leader of the Opposition you have used various heavy-handed management tactics but have never shown what most experienced backbenchers would recognise as true or inspiring leadership.

You have never regularly engaged with your own backbench MPs, many of whom have been in Parliament far longer than you, and some of whom served in the previous Labour government.

You have chosen neither to seek our individual political opinions, nor learn about our constituency experiences, nor our specific or collective areas of political knowledge. We clearly have nothing you deem to be of value.

Your promotion of those with no proven political skills and no previous parliamentary experience but who happen to be related to those close to you, or even each other, is frankly embarrassing.

In particular, the recent treatment of Diane Abbott, now Mother of the House, was deeply shameful and led to comments from voters across the political spectrum. A woman of her political stature and place in history is deserving of respect and support, regardless of political differences.

As Prime Minister, your managerial and technocratic approach, and lack of basic politics and political instincts, have come crashing down on us as a party after we worked so hard, promised so much, and waited a long fourteen years to be mandated by the British public to return to power.

Since the change of government in July, the revelations of hypocrisy have been staggering and increasingly outrageous. I cannot put into words how angry I and my colleagues are at your total lack of understanding about how you have made us all appear.

How dare you take our longed-for victory, the electorate's sacred and precious trust, and throw it back in their individual faces and the faces of dedicated and hardworking Labour MPs?! The sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice are off the scale. I am so ashamed of what you and your inner circle have done to tarnish and humiliate our once proud party.

Someone with far-above-average wealth choosing to keep the Conservatives' two-child limit to benefit payments which entrenches children in poverty, while inexplicably accepting expensive personal gifts of designer suits and glasses costing more than most of those people can grasp — this is entirely undeserving of holding the title of Labour Prime Minister.

Forcing a vote to make many older people iller and colder while you and your favourite colleagues enjoy free family trips to events most people would have to save hard for — why are you not showing even the slightest bit of embarrassment or remorse?

I now have no confidence in your commitment to deliver the so-called "change" you promised during the General Election campaign and the changes we have been striving for as a political party for over a decade.

My values are those of a democratic socialist Labour Party and I have been elected three times to act on those values on behalf of my constituents. Canterbury made history when its voters elected their first woman, and only non-Conservative, MP since the seat was created in the thirteenth century.

My constituents elected an independent-minded MP who vowed to put constituency before party, and to keep tackling the issues that most affect us here — Brexit fallout, funding for our universities, our desperately struggling East Kent NHS, dire housing situation, repeated sewage pollution and protecting our vital green spaces.

I am confident that I can continue to do so as an independent MP guided by my core Labour values.

Sadly, the Labour Party has never shown any interest in my wonderful constituency in the seven years that I have been in Parliament. But I am proud of my community and will continue to serve them to the best of my ability.

My constituents care deeply about social issues such as child poverty and helping those who cannot help themselves. I will continue to uphold those values as I pledged to do when I first stood before them for election in 2017.

As someone who joined a trade union in my first job, at seventeen, Labour has always been my natural political home. I was elected as a single mum, a former teaching assistant in receipt of tax credits. The Labour Party was formed to speak for those of us without a voice, and I stood for election partly because I saw decisions about the lives of those like me being made in Westminster by only the most privileged few. Right now, I cannot look my constituents in the eye and tell them that anything has changed. I hope to be able to return to the party in the future, when it again resembles the party I love, putting the needs of the many before the greed of the few.

Yours sincerely,

Rosie Duffield MP

A savage indctment of the man and his policies. And rumours circulating widely in the alt_news commuity suggest there's worse to come for Starmer and his fledgling government, and I'm not talking about the nature of Kwier's relationship with Dodgy Donor Lord Alli. Apparently there is a scandal brewing over a miscarrige of justice that Kweir, in his days as Director of Public Prosecutions played a major role in.

Get a few drinks in the fridge and plenty of snacks in the larder, its going to be an entertaining few weeks.

Diversity' Does Not Mean Quotas. Why Do The Left Have To Rewrite The Dictionary.
One might think, given the amount of screaming and shouting about diversity we hear from the left, they might take a little time to find out what it really means and stop applying their superficial and shallow meaning to it. The left however are hupocrites which is why they can claim to have a monopoly on truth and goodness while embracing the tactics of fascism in silencing opposition. Thus they have no problem reducing 'diversity' to a question of skin colour or sexual preference while insisting only one shade of opinion is acceptable.
