Cuba Next On Trump's Hit List

According to White House sources, President Donald Trump reportedly has Cuba in his sights as a new target within a broader strategy aimed at regime change.

A report in Atlantic magazine suggests that discussions within the White House are not only focused on Iran and Venezuela but also include Havana as part of a geopolitical push to reshape the power dynamics in the Western Hemisphere.

Washington insiders whisper that Trump feels he is "on a roll" following recent (and it must be sid, not spectacularly successful,) international maneuvers, bolstering his determination to seek new challenges.

The Atlantic describes conversations among Trump's close circles where there's consideration of increasing pressure on the Cuban regime.

Publicly, Trump has floated the idea of a "friendly takeover" of the island, repeatedly highlighting the severe economic hardships faced by the country.

Cuba's decline, which began in 1959 when the revolution led by Fidel Castro succeeded in replacing the corrupt regime with an equally corrupt but far less competent communist dictatorship, and fall, which has been a slow motion train wreck that started immediately ater Castro's takeover, is accelerating due to the sanctions, embargoes, lack of income and insufficient aid from its allies Russia and China.

The writing was on the wall for the communists in Havana since the collapse of the Soviet Union. I'd speculate that a US backed coup is not too far away, this will establish a militarily controlled government to stabilise the country. Cuba will probably end up with a fake puppet democracy controlled by Washington.

US business interests will then move in. Trump is not about freedom and democracy, hence Venezuela still has the same party in power. However, Trump's bid to disrupt the world order has denied China a main source of oil. He controls where Venezuela's oil goes. And let's be honest, anything that impedes China's bid to usurp all western manufacturing industry benefits all of us in the liberal democracies and offers at least some respite from our political elites' attempts to commit national suicide on behalf of the nations they rule. If in Trump' masterplan Europe is to be written off as collateral damage, then it is up to we Europeans to do something about it.

Cuba's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the Gulf of Mexico is estimated to hold between 4.6 billion and 20 billion barrels of untapped, undiscovered crude oil. The U.S. Geological Survey estimates the most likely volume of technically recoverable undiscovered crude in the North Cuba Basin is 4.6 billion barrels. Deep-sea marine drilling requires vast capital and highly specialised deepwater platforms, which Cuba’s state oil company (CUPET) cannot fund on its own.

A tempting opportunity for The Donald to step in with US money and technical expertise.

It should also be noted that about 25% of Cuba's population has fled to the USA, Canada, Europe and South American nations over the past 5 years, largely as a result of the regime's human rights abuses. Yet the snivelling gobshites at the United Nations elect the Cuban regime to the international panel which oversees human rights. If it is to fix the problem the Cuban state must remove the dictators, and let the people return and rebuild the relitavely prosperous nation it had been from the 1930s to 50s and work towards a democratic future freed from the authoritarian and delusional communists who now only cling to power so they can continue to exploit the country for their personal benefit. And it appears those who seek fredom can expect no help from the globalists of Britain and the EU.

Cuba is what communism always becomes, and it is hard for our socialists to let go, as the old saying goes 'in a democracy we can vote out failed leaders but socialism can only be removed with blood on the streets. But the time has come for Cubans, wherever they go, are successful, there is no reason to believe they won't be successful in Cuba after a regime change frees them from the brutal oppression of communism.

Liberal Canada's Rulers In Rush To Copy Chinese Communist Party's Authoritarian System

Canada has a reputation for being one of the most enlightened and tolerant nations in the international community, with an exemplary record on human rights. These things are qualities its leaders like to boast about when they are not busy trampling over the civil rights and legitimate freedoms of of Canadian citizens. The reasn we mention this is the government in Ottowa have again been busy devising new ways to increase the authority of the state and weaken any resistance to the state.

For all that Prime Minister Carney and his predecessor Trudeau love to parade their liberal credentials, we must remember this is the country that ruled that Jordan Peterson’s refusal to use the ‘non-binary’ gender pronouns zee, hir and per constituted discrimination and was punishable by law.

Then there was the persecution of Christians including Pastor Pawlowski and the awful treatment of truckers trying to exercise their democratic right to protest against vaccine mandates, which included freezing their assets so they could not access bank accounts and withdrsaw money for living costs. During the COVID lockdowns era Canada was one of the leaders in mandating the vaccines and unpersoning anybody who voice concerns about the safety and effectiveness of the clotshot or the human rights violations of the governments pandemic response

Now Canada-based LifeSite News is reporting that a bill going through the legislative process, backed by Prime Minister Carney, would establish powers to cut off access to the internet of anyone the security serviices deem a dissident.

‘Bill C-8, which is now in its second reading in the Canadian House of Commons, was introduced in June by Minister of Public Safety Gary Anandasangaree and has a provision in which the federal government could stop “any specified person” from accessing the internet,’ the report says. ‘All that would be needed is the OK from Minister of Industry for an individual to be denied internet service.

Given that Canada has been one of the front runners in the push by governments to force its citizens to put all their financial and personal business online, to introduce a cashless society and to expand surveillance via digital technology, the sinister nature of this Bill, titled An Act respecting cyber security, amending the Telecommunications Act and making consequential amendments to other Acts, becomes clear, especially as it contains a clause that mandates all internet providers to pull internet services from anyone whom the government fingers as being 'off - message.'.

Fortunately many are speaking out against this latest attack on free speech, privacy and personal liberty, including People’s Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Canada’s intelligence commissioner.

Trying to get the genii of the free to use internet, back in the bottle is probably impossible at this stage, but many tyrannical governments, like that of the UK's uniparty, have seen the problem andrather than trying to supress it's use but made it use ubiquitous thus enabling state security agencies to exert full control and monitoring. They'll keep pushing digital ID and a cashless infrastructure. which would have been introduced years ago were it not judged to have been against the culture of Irish travellers and people of Canada's First Nations, which would have been discrimination. (Also how would the great and the good pay for their rent boys, escorts and Columbian marching powder witghout outing themselves?)

Saint Greta Thunberg, Patron Saint Of Attention Seekers Booted Out Of Israel

Flat - faced Swedish mini - troll and erstwhile ranter - in - chief about the evils of Carbon Dioxide, the 'pollutant' trace atmospheric gas which she claimed is estroying the planet but which, as any scientifically literate fool knows is essential to life and without which everyting (including ill informed flat faced Swedish mini - trolls) would die has been humiliated in her latest self servig stunt. Having squeezed all the headlines and money she could out of ranting about climate change and reinvented herself as and anti - war / Israel / capitalism / Trump / common sense (delete as necessary) campaigner little Greta decided to go to Gaza and feed the starving hoardes with five baps and two sardnes or something. Unfortunately the Israeli government had other ideas.

Saint Greta and her Freedom Flotilla narcissists were intercepted by the Israeli navy and reportedly taken to the port of Ashdod, where they were ordered to watch a video of Hamas’s October 7 atrocities committed against Israeli citizens.. When Greta and her chums realised what they were watching they refused to look st the screens, according to reports. Like many far left jew - haters Greta has always insisted the Oct 7 atrocities are a Zionist conspiracy theory. Well her grip on reality was never all that firm.

Israel’s defence minister Israel Katz told western medisa “The antisemitic flotilla members are turning a blind eye to the truth and have proven once again that they prefer the murderers to the murdered and continue to ignore the atrocities committed by Hamas against Jewish and Israeli women, adults and children.”

Israel further claimed that “The tiny amount of aid that wasn’t consumed by Tunberg and the the celebrities travelling with her will be transferred to Gaza through real humanitarian channels,” adding “More than 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel within the past two weeks, and close to 11 million meals were transferred by the GHF directly to civilians in Gaza.”

“There are ways to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip — they do not involve provocations and selfies,” the statement concluded.

Poor Greta, what does a plain girld with no talent and little education do when it finally dawns on her that her fifteen minutes of fame are long gone?

Anyone with an ounce of sense can see how much of a fake-ass puppet she is and also how completely staged it all is. Plus, we know the Freedom Flotilla was organised by Zaher Birawi, a Palestinian-British journalist at an Arabic-language satellite TV channel in London and known to UK security forces as a person with links to Hamas. Birawi called himself a “founding member” of the Freedom Flotilla International Coalition, which arranged the voyage by the aid boat Madleen. Where the funding came from is not known but the name Soros is being bandied aout in some circles.

Having warned that Thunberg was not welcome in Israel and the Fredom Flotilla would not be allowed to land, Israeli forces boarded and seized the boat on Sunday, detaining the 12 pro-Palestinian activists it was carrying, including Ms Thunberg, as it attempted to bring a “symbolic” amount of aid to Gaza in defiance of an Israeli naval blockade.

The Resistable Rise Of The Technocratic Dictatorship

Imagine a future dystopia in which the United Nations’ (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are achieved through centralizing control of all human activity to a global, technocratic government. The digitalisation of society allows for unprecedented surveillance (even while you work) and micromanagement of all social and ecological systems.

All power devolves from the central authority to regional administrative bureaucracies as a tiny cabal of billionaire psychopaths impose top-down management of all economic and social activity through the collaboration between states, multinational companies, and NGOs. A few corporate monopolies (i.e., too big to fail) employ massive amounts of social and behavioral science, and automation of all decision making via artificial intelligence (AI) systems to maintain their hold over all industries and people.Sounds like Aldous Hxley's Brave New World or Benito Mussolini's vision of a fascist state. Yes either of those is a good comparison. Unfortunately it is neither a work of fiction nor the ravings of a mad, socialist wannabe tyrant.

The problem with centralized power is that lack of accountibility which facilitates the culture of cover up (sic)and thus encourages sociopaths (for obvious reasons) gravitate toward, and greatly covet, positions of power.

Power is the most addictive drug known of course, and even lowly jobs in the public sector offer enough opportunity to fuck with peoples' lives to attract neophyte sociopaths.

Once embedded in such positions, they are then able to act upon their desires with general immunity, and if they are caught, are often left in positions of power by others who at that point "own them via blackmail as was the case of Domique Strauss Khan (DSK) who liked to buy his prostitutes in dozens.

This of course is nothing new, it is how the game of power politics and economics has been played since ~~it was called the Game Of Thrones~~, the earliest civilisations. It is also why decentralization of power is the natural evolution we as a species must embrace in order to build a better world. And yet we see in Europe a push for greater integration and more surrender of sovereign power to the Brussels bureaucracy by member states, we see in the USA more centralization of power on The White House and the increasingly Imperial President and around the world, through agencies like the United Nations, NAFTA, NATO and the G20 we see a push from all directions towards global government.

Under the global technocratic dictatorship food will be grown in vast, automated indoor farms. Family farms and natural methods ogf food production are now obsolete, having been swept away by government decree which requires food production systems managed by AI, robotics, and swarms of drones called ‘agrobots.’ Real-time management produces abundant pseudoagricultural products without harming or even involving the environment. Central planning and totalitarian government produces sustainable public services, and welfare systems.

Despite the monetary wealth and abundant resources produced, this tightly controlled world comes with significant tradeoffs. Individual rights and personal freedoms are sacrificed for collective interests and the “common good.”

Behind the scenes, ruling powers seize control of information and ruthlessly suppress dissent, however, most don’t even notice. Citizens wink at how authoritarian governments have become, because their needs are met by the interlocking state-corporate power structure. In previous times this fascist merger was resisted but in this imagined utopia, it’s simply viewed as a pragmatic way of managing a complex world. Since the smart city experience—where everything is interconnected all the time—is very convenient and efficient, not many care about the loss of privacy. The truth is they will simply lack the imagination to understand concepts such as privacy.

This depiction may sound like a book proposal for the next great dystopian fiction novel or a nod to harrowing works of the past. However, it actually describes the world envisioned by the European Environment Agency (EEA), an organization founded in 1994 to support European environmental policy. The EEA has 32 member countries and 6 cooperating countries. It also works closely with the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union and also with the WEF and the Trilateral Commission.

However it is only a matter of time before the very wealthy using their bought and paid for scientists and the help of the always willing governments, media (palms greased) and fellow travellers around the globe, to find a solution to fully control the masses, or at the very least kill a fair chunk of us off. COVID failed but the elites will not accept defeat easily.

These bilionaire psychopaths and their henchmen and women meet every year at Davos to plan out what they will force upon us – and their World Economic Forum is also used to further plan our demise or subjugation in many forms, they even have young leaders lined up to keep their progress of controlling us on track – they’ve fucked about with our food. water, medicines and anything that can give them extra leverage over us, whilst all the time keeping us divided, and in some cases at war with each other.

I believe they have already won – because not enough folk pay attention, and by the time their eyes are open it will be way, way too late to make a significant stand – for me its all about them picking their right moment to take complete control – and they’re not quite their yet – but AI and advances in robotics are not that far-off for them to achieve, the particular goal of subjugating us completely.

Just now its been creeping subjugation – a bit here a bit there, such as more strict laws using false flag terrorism, or the old favourite anti-Semitism – they still require our money and labour to keep them in the positions they are accustomed to – but once they have achieved the means to fully subjugate us – they’ll have it all, and we’ll be at their mercy – one can be assured that mass culls of what is termed “useless eaters” will quietly take place behind close doors.

I believe for the majority of the masses – in the not so distant future, life on planet Earth will be far more controlled (out of the individuals hands) than it is now – or has been in the past.

Sorry seem pessimistic but that’s how it looks from a lifelong dissident's perspective. The only way to defeat the billionaire psychopaths and control freaks is for enough people to read posts like this and joing the resistance.

The Martyrng Of Marine Le Pen Will Only Serve To Accelerate The Rise Of Europe's Right

Marine Le Pen’s conviction for misuse of EU funds and subsequent five year ban ban from all politics including the democratic contest to become the French president (in which she has been consistently leading polls,) has polarised Europe, redefining the political narrative in the battle for the cultural and political heart of Europe. The verdict, making her ineligible to seek political office for five years, rules her out of the 2027 French presidential race, a contest for whih she was conidered the front runner, and will cement claims by her party, the right wing National Rally, that it faces judicial and political persecution in a system weighted in favour of the elite and is always subject to interference by the corrupt EU bureaucracy in Brussels.

“Today it is not only Marine Le Pen who was unjustly condemned: it was French democracy that was killed,” Giorgia Meloni, the Eurosceptic and populist prime minister of Italy, said.

While most of Europe's prominent left wing politicians were quick tio jump on the threat to democracy bandwagon, at least one pointed out that the conviction could backfire on the establihment by allowing Mme. Le Pen to present herself as a political martyr, and thus strengthen support for her party and her bid for the presidency one French conservative pointed out.

The French court's action has quickly been linked to the ruling by Romania’s constitutional court to cancel and postpone presidential elections last year that looked within the reach of the radical nationalist right, albeit in different circumstances, amid claims of Russian interference in the electoral process.

Even among French mainstream conservative Republicans party, however, there is the belief that the judgment is more about blocking a radical candidate and anti-establishment contender for power than a simple, black-and-white criminal case.

“The democratic destiny of our nation [is] confiscated by an outrageous judicial cabal,” Éric Ciotti, a former president of the party, said. “The favoured candidate in the presidential election prevented from running. This is not a simple dysfunction. It is a system to capture power that systematically throws aside any candidate that is too far to the right and who has a chance of winning.”

The narrative will add credibility to National Rally’s argument that the French political system is rigged against them after the party was locked out of power by tactical voting in parliamentary elections last year.

This conversion of fact and free speech to “misinformation” seems to be a common left wing and globalist tactic. The state must suppress evidence that mRNA vaccines cause harm, in case it causes vaccine hesitancy (amongst those who believe they cause harm because of that evidence). The state must hide strong evidence against Neodarwinism so as not to encourage the “Creationists” (ie all who believe there is strong evidence against Neodarwinism). The State must jail those who expose rape gangs (to prevent the public believing there are rape gangs). The must censor all news from Russia (whilst Russians retain access to ours) in case people believe Western censorship to be a far right talking point.

And all these acts which rob us of our freedoms are being implenented to protect our freedoms and save us from wicked people who pose a threat to democracy by standing as candidates opposed to the establishment in democratic elections.

The Artificial Intelligence Takeover: Oligarchic Insanity or Socialist Stupidity?

Elon Musk (at the helm of Neuralink, Starlink), Larry Ellison (with Oracle), Peter Thiel and Alex Karp (who founded Palantir) have all expressed enthusiasm for merging biology with technology, figuring out how to live forever, micro-managing society using algorithms and AI surveillance, and other stupid things.

They each currently have oversized roles in or adjacent to the US federal government.

Before the US and UK elections of 2024, during America's four years of Biden insanity and the UK's insaneyears of four Prime Ministers (2019 - 2022), along with the constant demonstration of the insanity of the “left-wing, woke” influence in politics another threat to democracy was growing from tech-moguls (The Tech Bros.) intent on using their vast wealth and truncated moral compasses to buy political influence. It is interesting how the far left has put this in the right wing spectrum when The Tech Bros are most often assocated with woke ideology or at the very least the now somewhat outdated concepts of 'progressive liberalism until we get to their ambitions to put all government and business administration matters under the control of Artificial Intelligence and then, unhindered by democratic checks and balances forge ahead with plans to implant microchips in all our brains so that we can be constantly surveiled and controlled by supercomputers in their data centres.

Wait, who wanted this free AI? When did we vote to have our lives taken over by computers. What exactly is good about this? (Of course, vast part of younger people want it and are delighted, this is the situation because they have been brainwashed in school, by TV and online to believe cyberslavery offers a better future than freedom.) Is this good news? Is this a race, or a synchronized global pseudo-race for radical reconstruction in a mode of false competition? (Here I am already very conspiratorial, there is no way “everyone can be together in this”, they are at war – factions, states, unions..) Wasn’t there something, some kind of principled battle against these things, instead of only against the “bad guys/leftist/foreign tech”, whereby “ours” are good, or at least “inevitability, normal technological development”?

This plan could be dubbed a “better great reset”, with erasure of The World Economic Forum, the murder of the far left and the establishment of a global technocracy.People will be told, forget this stupid principled battle against the radical transformation of societies controlled by a socialist elite with your best interests at heart. Global technocracy is already a fact of life, the cyberoligarchs are here and will run your lives more efficiently than you ever could yourselves, but give us, The Tech Bros 1, absolute power and we will use them for good, let the computers choose good people to apply them for good”… And then there’s the “global technology race.” Elon and his new best friend Donald Trump announce Stargate – the next day the Chinese announce a cool open-source ChatGpt, free for everyone, everyone!

And a large part of the media fell for it: “The Chinese released this Deep Seek AI for free, for everyone, not like the nasty American capitalists!” and also “The Chinese are advancing! We have to catch up with them!"

In Russia too, AI is a hot topic, The Kremlin popaganda machine says: “We need to implement AI everywhere, in every sector of society. AI technologies have great potential to transform society and bring a better future to our citizens… We need to develop Russian AI in order not to lag behind the technological race.”

But wait, before we get carried away with the hype let's pause for reality. Thinking and learning is an iterative process involving dynamic brain waves that are emergent from complex adaptive neurons. Waves are not bits. A memory (knowledge) is a type of neural behavior that is never quite the same twice and can’t be abstracted and uploaded into a brain. I’ve studied the infamous paper that claims uploading false memories is possible: but, in fact, they can only condition past memories, that is, associate feelings (hormonal responses) with past memories.

Neuralink can’t implant ideas and doesn’t read minds. Neuralink merely interfaces with motor control areas of the brain, not with memories or thoughts or language. So, the only “bits” going from brain to computer are those that can be used to activate a mouse, click, and swipe. The nerds employed by The Tech Bros. confuse motor impulses with thoughts, and believe Neuralink will some day be able to help us achieve “symbiosis” with computers and “better align Artificial Intelligence with human collective will.” They do not seem to be aware of the difference between playing a video game faster and acting more intelligently in the world.

Having tried Deep Seek as I tried ChatGPT when it was launched I observe that they have an important feature in common. Both thesre 'Intelligent' systems become more stupid the more abstract the questions fed to them become. Or to put it bluntly, ask AI a question that requires thought and analysis, reason, logic or any of the other cognitive skills that define human intelligence and they're fucked.

How fucked? you might well ask.

Artificial Intelligence And The Rise Of The Immortal Tyrant

As Karl Manheim and Lyric Kaplan warn in a disturbing article in the Yale Journal of Law & Technology about the risks to privacy and democracy posed by AI,

“[a]rtificial intelligence is the most disruptive technology of the modern era… Its impact is likely to dwarf even the development of the internet as it enters every corner of our lives… Advances in AI herald not just a new age in computing, but also present new dangers to social values and constitutional rights. The threat to privacy from social media algorithms and the Internet of Things is well known. What is less appreciated is the even greater threat that AI poses to democracy itself.”

After 30 year career in Information Technology I seem to have gained immunity to scare stories or predictions of a Cyberutopia based on the rise of “digital authoritarianism” or “algocracy—rule by algorithm.”

Digital authoritarianism, as the Center for Strategic and International Studies cautions, is a threat which involves the use of information technology to surveil, repress, and manipulate the populace, overriding human rights and civil liberties, and corrupting the foundational principles of democratic and open societies, “including freedom of movement, the right to speak freely and express political dissent, and the right to personal privacy, online and off.”

Did somebody mention Digital ID and fifteen minute cities?

How do we protect our privacy against the growing menace of technological overreach and the usurpation by a technological sector working with the government or our liberty and personal sovereignty?

The ability to resist the march of the technocrats may already be out of our hands.

In 2024, at least 37 US federal government agencies ranging from the Departments of Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs to Health and Human Services reported more than 1700 uses of AI in carrying out their work, double from the year before. Likewise British and European governments began to openly discuss how AI could be used to improve heathcare, monitor criminal activity, eradicate tax evasion, suppress dissent, clamp down on 'hate crime' and advance 'net zero' agendas.

That little list does not even begin to touch on agencies and NGOs that did not report their usage of AI technologies at local levels.

I take issue with the use of the term “Artificial Intelligence” as well the notion that the machines make “decisions” . As soon as we adopt the language of the propagandists we endanger our own human consciousness and awareness, especially if we use the terms the machines come to produce and replicate. Pull the plug on digital machines by refusing to think and speak in techno promo terms.

What’s shocking that there is so little opposition to imposing AI authority over people. As long as AI is assigned neither authority nor credibility or infallibility but solely advising role danger of enslaving people is not as huge or imminent although still eminent.

However the real problem is that people surrender their moral autonomy that gives them unalienable right/responsibility to investigate reality in order to draw conclusions by themselves and deny themselves moral authority of ethical judgment of such conclusions in context of our humanity.

If people totally blindly resign themselves to human authority they will easily embrace AI authority as by either they abandon their own moral autonomy and authority.

So it’s not AI technology that must be targeted but any attempts to give it authority that overrides human authority and any credibility that overrides human credibility which we know is fallible and which essentially what makes us human.

For example AI face recognition of a suspect should have no more perhaps less legal weight than suspect identification by a witness which testimony we know may be mistaken or deceiving. So AI should be assigned such deceiving quality as well simply because it’s based on statistical models producing not accurate but approximate outcomes within defined margin of error.

And please stop using term Artificial intelligence (just AI technology) as after three thousand years of philosophy trying to define it we still don’t know what human intelligence really is.

AI is a current buzzphrase but has little tangible meaning, computers are not intelligent, they cannot reason or indulge in abstract thought, nor can they truly generate original content. All AI systems do is parse data, match strings and identify patterns, just like the first computer I worked on in the late 1960s. My program was loaded from punched paper tape, the machine had 128k RAM and we programmer / operators ran around like ants on speed changing disks and mounting or demounting tapes. Today's supercomputers are have gigabyes of memory and are immeasurably faster but work in exactly the same way. And though they can parse millions of words in a fraction of a second they still do not have a clue what any of those words means. Artificial Intelligence is as incapable of extracting meaning from a sentence, paragraph or article as any mechanical device made of cogs and springs. And when nerds talk of their AI systems 'creating' content what the software does is simply disassemble, then reassemble bits and pieces to come up with something not new, not original, but edited differently – i.e. synthetic art, plagiarised texts, ….?

I still think we have more to fear from the living beings, whatever “they” are, who are driving us towards this artificial world than any computer. Just like we need not fear the gun, but the mindset of the human who operates it.

We, as a culture, are so far removed from ever addressing the causes of knife crime that is epidemic on the sreets of our cities, that there are now moves to ban knife sales to under 18 year olds because of the knife attacks that have been occurring in some sections of society of late. But how can any intelligent being think banning sales of knives to certain democraphics as a solution, when any steak knife from home would do the same job, and instead of taking a closer look at who we let into the country.

We need an urgent solution to how we can rid ourselves of these human and non-human parasites that are enforcing all of the smart machinery. But perhaps I am missing the point, what if The Powers That Be, having finally understood that machines can never be intelligent in the way humans are, now plan to achieve their goal by making humans as dumb as machines are.
