Poisoned Russian Spy Linked To Christopher Steele

The alleged Russian double agent poisoned along with his daughter in Salisbury, England last weekend has been linked to former British Spy Christopher Steele, who was paid by Hillary Clinton's people to compile the dodgy dossier on Trump in the 2016 US election, according to financial news site Zero Hedge. Steel's dossier led to the idiotic attempts by the US Democratic Party to have Donald Trump removed from office, without having produced a single piece of hard evidence on which to indict Trump.

Col Sergei Skripal, who is currently in intensive care after he and his daughter Yulia were poisoned with a suspected nerve agent, was recruited by MI6 while working at the British embassy in Estonia, according to Russian intelligence services. The Daily Stirrer has not featured this story previously as it has been seized upon by mainstream media and conveniently allowed them to sideline the bigger stories of the past week.

Yulia Skripal - collateral damage?

It is unfortunate that Sripal's daughter Yulia was harmed, to the best of our knowledge she is entirely innocent of malfeasance, but the usual "It's the Russians" screeching from mainstream media ignored the facts that Skripal was allegedly a double agent, being paid by both British and Russian intelligence services, and is also believed to have been involved in industrial espionage since being retired by the Russian government. such people tend to have a lot of enemies.

When Russia learned that Skripal had been paid by MI6 to expose undercover Russian intelligence agents in 2006, the same year Russian double-agent Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned in London, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Four years later he was among a group of prisoners released by Moscow in exchange for 10 US spies, after which he moved to the UK and befriended an employee of Christopher Steele, at that time a private security consultant, A report in The Daily Telegraph states:

The Telegraph understands that Col Skripal moved to Salisbury in 2010 in a spy swap and became close to a security consultant employed by Christopher Steele, who compiled the Trump dossier. -Telegraph

Steele's firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, notoriously assembled a series of memos containing anti-Trump opposition research to Fusion GPS, the first seventeen of which were compiled into the unverified "Trump-Russia" dossier which the FBI relied on to obtain a spy warrant against a Trump campaign associate.

21 people were taken to hospital last week, affected by a nerve agent released when Yulia Skripal reportedly opened a "gift from friends" as they ate in a restaurant. UK counterterrorism police and domestic security agency MI5 are investigating why the Russian double-agent was targeted seven years after his release from a Russian penal colony. Skripal's son, Alexander, died last year at the age of 43.

If Skripal assisted Steele in compiling the dossier, which relies on information from senior Russian officials despite Steele never having traveled to Moscow, it could explain the motive behind the assassination attempt in Salisbury town centre.

Valery Morozov, a former construction magnate who fled Russia after revealing corruption, claimed last night that Col Skripal, 66, was still working, and remained in regular contact with military intelligence officers at the Russian embassy. That would raise the possibility that he was still feeding intelligence to people in this country.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Gowdy and Goodlatte referred to the discovery of new information about events during and after the 2016 campaign as their reasoning behind calling for a second independent counsel.

"What changed for me was the knowledge that there are two dozen witnesses that Michael Horowitz, the [DOJ] Inspector General, would not have access to," Gowdy said. "When I counted up 24 witnesses that he would not be able to access were he to investigate it, yeah only one conclusion, that’s special counsel."

That list of witnesses included former FBI director James Comey, Gowdy confirmed

Last week, Sessions revealed that Horowitz is to investigate allegations of government surveillance abuse in light of memos released on Capitol Hill by the House Intelligence Committee which suggested, at least on the Republican side, that the dossier compiled by ex-U.K. intelligence officer Christopher Steele was used to obtain a FISA warrant to surveil former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

"Absolutely, this whole FISA warrant was on Carter Page," Gowdy told Fox News.

Goodlatte agreed stating that the case on which the warrant was built was "highly suspect."

The lawmakers wrote, "There is evidence of bias, trending toward hostility, among those charged with investigating serious cases."

They added, "There is evidence political opposition research was used in court filings. There is evidence this political opposition research was neither vetted before it was used nor fully revealed to the relevant tribunal."

Both lawmakers said they didn’t know at this stage when or if a second counsel would be appointed at all.

Five Nation Plan To Divide Syria Into Two States

In a move that exposes exactly where the push to global conflict is being driven from, Turkish media has exposed a plan by five nations to divide Syria into two separate states. The Turkish-language newspaper Star Daily on Monday carried the shocking report that representatives of the USA, Britain, France, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, in secret meeting on Syria held in Washington decided the future of Syria.

It seems strange that no representative from Russia was invited and The Kremlin will hold the casting vote on any action to depose Assad, but seeing the big picture was never one of the main strengths of senior military or foreign affairs staff.

The Star Daily noted that throughout the meeting representatives of the group of five warmongers planned to split Syria in two, adding that the US representatives pressured for forming an autonomous government in Eastern and Northern Syria.

The six-step plan according to Star includes:

1- Forming a “terror state” in Eastern and Northern Syria (alluding to Kurds).

2- Helping the “terror state” reach the Mediterranean Sea.

3- Getting United Nations involved in forming and recognizing the new nation.

5- The US will find an office for the “terror state” at the UN.

6- Persuading Turkey to accept the new plan and end military operations in Northern Syria.

According to the paper, the regions where the "terror state" will be formed will include the oil-rich areas in Deir Ezzur in Northeastern Syria. It added that Pentagon has accelerated plans to disintegrate Syria after Turkey started its Operation Olive Branch against the Kurds in Northern Syria and is trying to link the regions controlled by the Syrian Kurds to the Mediterranean Sea.

The newspaper also cited an earlier report by a The Daily Star Lebanon paper which wrote that it has gained access to an email from the British embassy in the US which reveals Washington’s 5-paragrapth plan to disintegrate Syria.

The al-Akhbar newspaper wrote that the US officials along with their main NATO and middle eastern allies have decided to implement a plan to split Syria and prolong the civil war in the country by continued deployment on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates.

According to a document in the Daily Star Lebanon leak, Benjamin Norman, the diplomat in charge of the Middle East at the British Embassy in Washington, reports in a confidential diplomatic telegram of the first meeting of the "Small American Group on Syria" (United States, Great Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and Jordan), held in Washington on January 11, 2018.

In this five-page document, he reveals the details of the "Western strategy" in Syria: partition of the country, sabotage of Sochi, framing of Turkey and instructions to the UN Special Representative Staffan de Mistura who leads the negotiations of Geneva. An 8 page paper accompanies this, in anticipation of the second meeting of the "Small Group". It was held in Paris on January 23, mainly devoted to the use of chemical weapons and the "instructions" sent by the “Small American Group" to Staffan de Mistura.

Hugh Cleary (Head of the Near and Middle East Department of the UK Foreign Office ), Jerome Bonnafont (Director ANMO / North Africa and Middle East at the Quai d’Orsay), David Satterfield (US Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East) and Jordanian Nawaf Tell and Saudi Jamal al-Aqeel attended the January 11 meeting in Washington.

David Satterfield confirmed that President Trump has decided to maintain a large US military presence in Syria, despite the victory over the "Islamic State Organization" (Daesh); the cost of this maintenance being set at $ 4 billion annually, although this is contradicted by subsequent statements made by Trump himself, which suggests the US President is at war with the "deep state" not only in Washington but among all the main NATO military powers who seems to have set their hearts on war with Russia and China.

The Chronicle of Higher Education reported Monday that Harvard has suspended a senior professor after the Chronicle published the results of an investigation into allegations against him of sexual harassment and groping going back to the 1970s. The professor's name is Jorge Dominguez. At the time of his suspension, he was a vice provost for international affairs at the school, and also the Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico at Harvard University.

So far, 18 women have accused Dominguez of inappropriate behavior. The women all tell similar stories. In a pattern that's no doubt familiar to anybody who's followed the #MeToo movement, Dominguez first presented himself as a mentor to these women, before eventually escalating his behavior to cross borders into sexual harassment territory. The problem here is that the #MeToo gang like to denigrate 'white men', portraying that much maligned group as the authors of all evil, yet look through the list of alleged abusers linked above and you will finf black and 'hispanic' men well represented.

One woman named Rebekah said Dominguez made a pass at her after inviting her for an after-work drink, a meeting that culminated with Dominguez "cupping my ass."

In 2006, Domínguez was named vice provost for international affairs, a wide-ranging position that included promoting the university's research programs abroad as well as meeting with donors and alumni. Rebekah said when she applied to Harvard’s Graduate School of Education to join a master's degree course, he wrote her a glowing recommendation. “If there was a Jorge Domínguez fan club, I would have been president from 2012 to 2015,” Rebekah said.

When she graduated from the master’s program in May of 2015, Domínguez suggested over a glass of wine that he was worried about her: She’d gained weight, he said, and he thought successful fund raisers should be beautiful and thin. When he noticed she was angry, he apologized profusely and reached in for a hug. "I was trying to pull away and then he cupped my ass," she wrote soon afterward in an online chat with a Harvard colleague.

Other women who had uncomfortable interactions with Domínguez made similar allegations. One former student, who spoke with The Chronicle on the condition of anonymity, said that knowing Domínguez was still widely celebrated at the university, she decided against reporting his behavior. "There would have been tremendous career repercussions for me," she said. “I’d be perceived as a troublemaker within the department.” Yes, these shits stick together and cover each others' backs.

Sexual harassment allegations have roiled industries from media, to entertainment to food service. But the walled-off worlds of prestigious universities have been conspicuously free of major scandals, despite what many believe to be a culture with and male-female power imbalances that is prime territory for sexual predators. But of course it is unreasonable to suspect professors and lecturers, after all they are liberals and as such theit all round goodness places them above suspicion.

The story is yet another example of how purportedly progressive environments are just as rife with sexual misconduct as anywhere else. There are of course many reported incidents of university and college tutors abusing their position, but as Harvard has taken such a leading role in demonising blue collar workers as ignorant, uncouth and ineducable, an oppostunity to stick a steel ties boot in their collective scholastic groin is too good to miss.

U.S. President Donald Trump is adopting a tough on the European Union, after the Union's unelected leaders threatened to impose punitive tariffs on leading American brands in retaliation for his attempts to protect the jobs of American steelworkers. “So now we will also impose import tariffs,” threatened Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the unelected European Commission, at an event in Hamburg, Germany.

"This is basically a stupid process, the fact that we have to do this. But we have to do it. We will now impose tariffs on motorcycles, Harley-Davidson, on blue jeans, Levis, on bourbon. We can also do stupid. We also have to be this stupid," Juncker the Drunkard huffed.

The U.S. President is not a man who backs down in the face of such threats and took to Twitter to post an immediate response: "If the EU wants to further increase their already massive tariffs and barriers on U.S. companies doing business there, we will simply apply a Tax on their Cars which freely pour into the U.S.," he wrote.

Russian Security Council representative Alexander Venediktov, commenting on an escalation of hostilities in Kurdish Syriua said the U.S. had forced Turkey to military intervention in Afrin by supplying advanced weaponry to the Kurdish independence movement YPG, and setting up around 20 military bases in territory controlled by the YPG.

NATO member Turkey and its main ally the U.S. are now embroiled in a low intensity war of words over the Feb. 25 U.N. Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire in Syria after the regime bombed civilian areas in Eastern Ghouta. Turkish government officials say the resolution applies only to Syrian government and ISIS / Al Nusra forces and its "anti-terror operation" in the semi - autonomous kurdistan region is not covered by the resolution, while U.S. officials suggest that diplomats in Ankara should read the resolution "more closely."

Turkey launched "Operation Olive Branch" on Jan. 20 to clear Syria’s Afrin district of the People’s Protection Units (YPG), the U.S.’s on-the-ground partner in Syria against the Islamic State in Syria (ISIS) but long a thorn in the side of the Turkish gvernment as territory claimed by the Kurds extends into Turkey. Ankara sees the YPG as the Syrian arm of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which both Turkey and the U.S. have designated as a terrorist organization.

As the U.S. pressure Turkey to stop their assault on YPG positions in Afrin, U.N. Under-Secretary for Humanitarian Affairs Mark Lowcock said the following: "We are receiving reports of civilian deaths and injuries, and restriction on movement for many civilians as a result of military operations in Afrin. Those who risk moving continue to be stopped at exit points by local authorities in Afrin, preventing them from accessing safer areas. So far, around 5,000 people we think have reached surrounding villages and Aleppo city. Tens of thousands are believed to be displaced within Afrin. The Turkish authorities have emphasized to us their willingness to facilitate humanitarian access. We would like to see aid convoys run from Damascus but that has not thus far been agreed on the Syrian side."

Officials from both sides are expected to meet on March 8-9 in Washington DC to work on a ceasefire agreement, a summit agreed during U.S. State Secretary Rex Tillerson’s meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu on February 16 in Ankara.

Meanwhile, a U.S. official, who asked not to be named, told Hürriyet Daily News’ Serkan Demirtas on March 1 that the U.S. was not imposing delays on Turkey regarding Syria and confirmed that U.S.’s ally in the region was Turkey, not the YPG.

Woman Interrogated & Imprisoned For Posting Joke Meme About Islam

We have reported many times on the neo-fascist insanity of Sweden's liberal left, who seem determined to take virtue signalling to such extremes they will destroy Swedish culture and nationhood in order to 'make muslims feel welcome'. In the latest example of this insanity, we learn a 32-year-old woman from Gothenburg in Sweden has been arrested, interrogated, had her DNA taken and now faces trial and imprisonment for the "crime" of sharing a humourous meme about Islam on Facebook.

She drew the attention of authorities after 'sharing' on her timeline the image below, which depicts a Muslim man having his brain removed and then being wrapped in Islamic head dress. She was not even the originator of the cartoon.

The captions read: How to Make a Muslim. Remove the brain. Replace with shit. Apply a bandage. Done.

While the meme is certainly in bad taste and may be offensive to some, what happened next conforms our allegation that the left will, if given absolute power, create an equivalent of the 'Thought Police' described in George Orwell's dystopian novel 1984. .

A buch of Swedish left wing activists who police facebook for 'hate speech' posted by Swedish nationals alerted police to the post, claiming that the woman had behaved "in a threatening manner" towards a protected group. They passed on details of the woman’s identity and the town where she lives. The woman was then asked to visit a police station in Gothenburg, where her DNA was taken and her details entered into a criminal database.

The woman profusely apologized for the post, claiming she thought it was aimed at members of ISIS. OK, but when did being stupid become a crime.

The Swedish authorities who can't catch rapists, murderers, arsonists or muggers are implacable in their pursuit of 'Though Crime' offenders, and proceeded to interrogate her on her attitude to Sweden’s "multicultural society" and whether she had "something against Muslims". The woman insisted she was against the Islamic State, not individual Muslims.

Gothenburg prosecutor Sara Toreskog was unimpressed and proceeded with charges of hate speech, and the woman now faces two years in prison. As we have exhaustively documented in this page and elsewhere, Sweden is an authoritarian, neo - fascist country that prosecutes people for satire, telling the truth and thinking for themselves. Let it be known that you have throughts and opinions that differ from the government diktat nd you are in big trouble.

Last year, a 70-year-old Swedish woman was prosecuted for hate speech for saying she saw migrants setting fire to cars, something that happens all the time in Sweden.

Swedish police officer Peter Springare is also under investigation for merely observing that “foreign-born offenders” are largely responsible for the country’s gang rape problem.

Italian Elections: It is the EU, Not Russia, Who is the Meddler

The harder the EU tries to impose its globalist agenda on people in some of its member states, the less willing they will be to toe Brussels’ line, Italian journalist Marco Fontana commented on Sunday's election.

“There is a great deal of outside meddling in Italian politics, but it is coming from EU leaders, like Jean-Claude Juncker, rather than the imaginary “troll factory” in St. Petersburg,” Fontana remarked.

Juncker recently told the media "early March is very important for the EU. There will be referendums in Germany and Italy and I’m particularly worried about the outcome of the Italian elections. We need to be prepared to see the Italians failing to form a working government and, instead, having a provisional one."

Fontana slammed Juncker, saying such statements, made ahead of Sunday’s elections, as direct meddling and an attempt to influence the election outcome in a sovereign member of the European Union.

"Italian media worries more about ‘fake news’ from Russia than about statements by EU politicians, which can impact the outcome of the Italian elections," Fontana noted. The same is true of mainstream media in britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria and in the USA where newspapers and broadcast news channels that were once respected around the world are still pushing the story of collaboration between President Trump and Russia swung the election when all the evidence to date shows if any collaboration took place it was between The Democrat Party and certain Russian oligarchs who contibuted to The Clinton Foundation in return for political favours.

Fontana, like many independent media commentators, believes that Brussels has failed to learn from Brexit, and the more they try to tell Europeans what to do the stronger the backlash could be. In spite of growing opposition to the Brussels agenda, the controlling bureaucracy becomes more authoritarian and more intransigent in response to every challenge.

"Let’s hope that this is exactly what is going to happen again, because the interests of the EU’s technocratic elite are starkly at variance with the interests of the Italian people!" Fontana continued.

"We have already seen the main achievements by the governments of Mario Monti (2011-2013) and Enrico Letta (2013-2014), which bled the Italian economy white, destroyed the social sphere, sent the value of Made in Italy goods down, forced the closure of many construction companies and drove dozens of business people to suicide," he emphasized.

He said that Juncker had probably tried to forestall the outcome of Sunday’s vote: if the winner fails to garner enough votes to form a Cabinet, the EU could try to persuade Italy to have a grand ruling coalition whose inability to govern will ruin the economy once again. He added that Germany had taken months to form a a new government and no one dared say that the absence of a government was weakening Europe. Italy is another matter, especially with Eurosceptic parties now leading in polls.

Juncker’s statement invited a joint chorus of condemnation from all of Italy’s political parties, save only for President Mattarella, who was the only Italian politician who refused to comment on it.
