Researcher Lars Højsgaard Andersen with the Rockwool Foundation, who specializes in studying crime and minorities, says economic and social conditions are the culprit here: The young men who flee to Denmark have limited resources, are traumatized, and have a hard time entering the job market—which he says needs to be taken into consideration when comparing them with ethnic Danes.

“In societal terms,” Andersen said, “there is a challenge in that we have crime that increasingly has an ethnic face.” Culture, tradition, and the way children are raised also contribute to the discrepancy in criminality between different ethnic groups, he said.
“We actually don’t know what the concrete explanation for the massive increases in crime rates is, but it is striking that it is almost always people from Muslim countries in the Middle East and North Africa as well as Pakistan and Turkey who fare worse when it comes to crime.”

You have to dig deeper into the figures to realise that all of this growth is down to migration. The population already resident in Britain actually shrank last year by 16,300 – deaths exceeded births. If better pay was offered and benefits were properly controlled there would be a lot of labour available from the existing population (as of five years ago). Unlimited immigration undermines wages and removes any incentive for employers to improve productivity (both private and public sector employers).

Besides which we are inundated with warnings thet pensions will be paid from ever older ages in future and that robotics will reduce the need for workers. Interesting how the forecasts of quasi-economists can be distorted to justify whichever social destruction programme they had in mind in the first place: unlimited immigration, stay in the EU, globalisation, euthenasia, higher taxes.

In Defending 'Democracy' Zelensky Seeks To Silence All Dissent

In a shock departure from its usual eitorial policy the website of Ukraińska Pravda news organisation has accused the office of Ukrainian Dictator Volodymyr Zelensky of “long-term and systemic pressure” on journalists, claiming that representatives of the Kyiv government are no longer allowed to talk to the portal’s journalists. A statement on this attempt by government to control the news also makes clear that the organisation will make sure the international public knows about the situation. 

The office of Ukraine's unelected dictator Volodymyr Zelensky is putting pressure on Ukraińska Pravda to bring about the termination of advertising cooperation with the editorial office of the service.

“We draw the attention of our colleagues, partners and international organizations to the long-term and systematic pressure exerted by the Presidential Office on the editorial office and individual journalists of Ukrayinska Pravda,” the portal’s statement reads.

“We would like to remind you that the values ​​of Ukrayinska Pravda since its establishment in 2000 have been editorial independence, objectivity and the ability to speak the truth,” it added.

The journalists stressed that the behavior of the Ukrainian authorities is “exceptionally outrageous” during the aggression from Russia, they claim that the end goal is to discourage advertising on the site, i.e., making it impossible for the portal to operate. 

The editorial team noted an “openly emotional conversation” between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and journalist Roman Kravets in August, during which Zelensky tried to influence the editorial line of the website. 

This is not the first time Ukraińska Pravda has faced ire from authorities given their dedication to independent journalism, and it is not the first time the portal has found itself in the crosshairs of those in power. Back in 2016, one of their top writers, Pavel Sheremet, was killed in a car bomb. The case has never been solved, with numerous questions surrounding the investigation.

Because the media coverage of the conflict in Ukraine by western media has been shamelessly biased in support of Ukraine and Zelensky while demonising Putin and Russia, we should remind ourselves on reading that the toxic dwarf claims the slaughter of a generation of young Ukriainian males he has presided over is somehow a defence of democracy, since this war began, Zelensky has 'democratically' banned opposition parties, criminalised dissent, cancelled elections at the end of his statutory term of office and now rules as an unelected dictator. 

Human Rights Watch said back in 2017 that Ukraińska Pravda funder “Sheremet was known for his incisive journalism, raising issues of public concern – such as violence by volunteer battalions and investigations into corruption – that were often uncomfortable for the authorities.” The organization stated that he had been “harassed, threatened, and detained for his work.”

The journalists involved say they will not give in to attempts at censorship. They also called on the international community and all those who value freedom of speech to support the defense of the independence of Ukrainian media. 

“These and other non-public signals indicate an attempt to influence our editorial policy. It is particularly outrageous to realize this during Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, when our common fight for both survival and democratic values ​​is so necessary,” they stated.

When a country is run by an unelected  psychopathic dictator backed by gangsters and neo Nazis, and an entire, now unelected Rada assembly that have seized power, any conversation about democracy is a non-starter, it is time western media ceased playing hypocritical mind games on behalf of their governments and reported the reality, not only of what is going on at the front line but the mood of Ukrainian citizens in the general population.

New York seeks 14,000 hotel rooms for immigrants as bill to house them passes $2bn

 

New York the city that never sleeps according to legend, is trying to obtain contracts to privide 14,000 hotel rooms where migrants can sleeo throughout 2025 . The cost to the city's log suffering taxpayers is quoted as $352 per room per night.

The Department of Homeless Services is seeking a fresh contract with hotels that would take the cost of housing for illiterate, criminally inclined illegal entrants over the past two years and this fiscal year to more than $2.3 billion, the New York Post reported.

Currently, around 150 hotels in the city are sheltering migrants, with city hall’s total spending on migrant services over three years set to hit $5.76 billion. This must be doing absolute wonders for the legitimate tourist trade, what sane prerson would want to spend a holiday or business trip in the company of lawless, knife and gun weilding scumbags. For a start such types would turn a five star hotel into a shithole unfit for human habitation quicker that you could say, "Migrant hostel - fuck off, I'm on the first flight back to civilisation.

“The taxpayers can’t pay for this indefinitely,” Nicole Gelinas, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute think tank, told The Post. “We should stop using hotels as shelters by the end of the year.”

The crisis has been building for years but has come to a head after New York’s administration was thrown into disarray following mayor Eric Adams’ criminal indictment over corruption charges. Mr Adams has implied that the criminal indictment is a result of his criticism of the Biden administration’s handling of the migrant crisis. a policy which has amounted to opening the borders and sending out messages to the scum of the earth informing them that whatever crimes they had committed in their homeland, they would be welcome in the good ol' USofA.

New York City Hall currently has three contracts with the New York City hotel association to use its extensive property network to shelter migrants. In its appeal for new accommodation, the city said: “The New York City Department of Homeless Services is seeking to continue the City Sanctuary Facility program by procuring a vendor who can assist in acquiring the use of large scale commercial hotels and hotel management services to help address the current emergency.”

The mayor has said that despite fears the influx of migrants staying in hotel rooms could affect tourism, there is no shortage of hotel rooms in New York with about 20,500 hotel rooms remain unoccupied.

This is not surprising, the people who would normally be filling those rooms and paying  with their own money, spending n entertainment, restaurants and in the shops are staying away (see above,) so the hotels that don't accept migrants wil have no revenue and have to lay off staff. Meanwhile the city government will continue on its virtue signalling path until the treasury is empytied of taxpayres money, while white flight empties the city of taxpayers.
