Drug Gang Leader Avoids Deportation To Nigeria On Human Rights Claim

The leader of a county lines gang who has dealt drugs since he was a teenager avoided deportation to Nigeria when his lawyers claimed it would breach his rights to a family life under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

Having been previously jailed for eight years (out in four?) for supplying drugs, the defendant also successfully argued that he could not be returned to the West African country because it did not have adequate psychiatric care to treat his mental health problems.

The 29-year-old, who has been granted anonymity by the courts, claimed it would be a breach of his Article 3 rights under the ECHR because deportation would be inhuman and degrading by denying him the medical treatment he needed. His claim against deportation was initially rejected by an immigration tribunal amid allegations that some of his claims about his family were “a work of fiction”, but the removal order was overturned on appeal.

The tribunal was told he came to Britain from Nigeria at the age of 10, and remained in the country illegally after overstaying his visa. He was dealing drugs by the age of 15 and was convicted six years later in 2016 of possession with intent to supply both cocaine and heroin.

Despite being handed a suspended jail sentence for that offence, he continued to run an “efficient” drugs line in Farnborough, using “people he could trust, including a young man who was only 17”, according to the court documents.

He and his girlfriend were making up to £5,000 a week from their drugs network, which he “masterminded”, advertising for clients on social media. A police investigation resulted in his conviction and sentencing to eight years in jail in July 2018.

The Home Office sought to deport him on his release on the basis that he was a danger to the public with a “significant number” of criminal convictions and having spent periods in and out of jail. It rejected his claims that his removal to Nigeria would breach his right to a family life and damage his mental health.

The right to family life under the European Human Rights act has been responsible for so much suffering. It was only a few years ago that we learnt it was the main reason for Paistani men raping English girls is because if the girls are repeatedly raped until they become pregnant, the father gets to live in the UK because of his right to family life.

Surely the whole issue is about responsibility and that once these people break the law they should be deported, it being their responsibility for breaking the law. As for the reasons they come up with, anyone with a shred of common sense can see these people are playing the system. As someone said earlier, why should the other people in the country have to suffer from their criminal activities while they evade justice because of their human rights. We must take to the streets and force the government to leave the EHCR or accept thst as Britain is a sovereign nation, British law supersedes anything the virtue signlling ouanquers in Brussels try to impoe on us.

Once again we have been shown that in the yes of the ruling elite a criminal's rights trump those of the general public. This guy will be back on the streets in 4 years trading drugs. Next he'll kill someone and we'll go through the same 'human rights' pantomine again.

Is Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Really A Pollutant Or Are The Green Blob Scamming Us all

This blog has always positioned itself firmly on the side of the sceptics in the Climate Change debate, and with good reason. While the climate catastrophe scaremongers demonise Carbon Dioxide (CO2) as a deadly pollutant which, when emitted from carbon rich sources, e.g coal, natural gas, oil burned during human activities, poses an existential threat to life on earth.

Now we three Boggart Bloggers, who get this blog together with help from a few friends and occasional input from other alt_news contributors, might be a bit long in the tooth but unlike some senior US politicians, age has not roBbed us of our wits or our memory. And we all remember learning during lessons on the natural sciences in school all those decades ago that Carbon Dioxide, though it only occurs in very small concentrations in the air we breathe, is essential to life. In fact our teachers explained that plants, fish, birds, reptiles and mammals (a categorisation which includes us humans,) are carbon based life forms. 

So when people who have fallen for the climate scam tell you Carbon Dioxide IS DESTROYING THE PLANET just remind them we are made from Carbon FFS.  Almost everything we eat and is or has at some time been a carbon - based life form and most of what we drink owes at least part of its flavour to carbon - based life forms (water being the exception.) What is more, in a process known as photosynthesis, during the daylight hours carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is turned into green stuff like grass and leaves. CO2 is the staple food of vegetation.

We mention this because a new study which will almost certainly be ignored by mainstream media, has been published in the journal Global Ecology and Conservation, which claims that a phenomenon known as CO2 fertilization is contributing to increased greening of the globe.  

The authors of the study, which bears the title “The global greening continues despite increased drought stress since 2000”, (hey, they're scientists - don't expect catchy headlines,) used the measurement of Leaf Area Index (LAI) to shows that more than half of the land area on earth is greening at an accelerated rate since 2000.

They also point out that “numerous studies have confirmed the greening phenomenon, investigated the drivers and corresponding influences”, an observation which challenges mainstream studies based on evidence obtained from mathematical models, which claim that increased carbon dioxide is causing decreses in the densitiy of vegetation. All of the scaremongering reports on climate change which predict imminent disaster have relied on mathematical modelling rather than data obtained from real world sources.

Using leaf area index datasets that had been “significantly updated”, the research team analyzed the global vegetation change trends from 2001 to 2020 based on the latest version of LAI datasets.

“Importantly, we also introduced the concept of LAI growth rate to analyze the rate of greening (browning). Finally, we further analyzed the drivers of LAI trend and LAI growth rate trend,” they said.

They conclude that “global greening is an indisputable fact” and “the rate of global greening increased slightly” between 2001 and 2020.

The study also looked at “global browning” –  vegetation dying off due to notionally increased temperatures, which is usually attributed to climate change – and found that the drought trend “only slowed down global greening, but was far from triggering browning”.

Comparing their work to other studies that looked at studies that found global greening the authors noted that inreased greening due to elevated CO2 presence in the atmosphere “could reduce climate warming by increasing terrestrial carbon sequestration and cooling the surface”.

“Greening acceleration occurred in 55.15% of the globe (positive trend and positive growth rate trend), while browning acceleration occurred in only 7.28% (negative trend and positive growth rate trend),” the study found.

The findings suggest that increased CO2 has been a net gain for the environment, which would stand contrary to the claim that CO2 endangers public health; a claim that was made by Environmental Protection Agency president Lisa Jackson in 2009. More recently, legislation in the U.S. has described CO2 as a pollutant. It is no coincidence that the billionaire psychopaths of Silicon Valley are all heavily invested in favour of medieval technologies like windmills. As far as they are concerned of course, We The People do not deserve things like electricity.

It begs an interesting question: is CO2 really a pollutant at the wannabe world government wallahs say, or could higher atmospheric concentrations of it actually turn out to be a positive thing?

Apple Plans To Destroy The Panet In Order To Save The Planet

Apple, currently in the process of  launching their new iPhone have linked the gadget to the alleged climate change crisis, opening a video presentation with a black woman identified as "Mother Nature" who is explaining how Apple is working to halt and reverse climate change. The video is pure scaemongering, evoking images of a dystopian, Mad Max type world in the near future unless we cancel all Carbon Dioxide emissions (except those involved in the manufacture, distribution and operation of Apple products of course.  It might even be scary but for one flaw which shows we must already be living in a dystopian society if the brain dead morons who run Apple can be in charge of the world's biggest corporation. The video declares that Apple's goal is to "permanently remove all carbon from the atmosphere.” 

That would destroy all life on the entire planet - and not do Apple's future business prospects any good at all. I mean, would you buy an iPhone or any other overpriced gadget from a corporation that had killed your dear old Mum, your Dad, friends, partner, children, your dog, cat, and you. Oh yes, we would all go, carbon based life forms account for every living thing on the planet.

Apple's virtue signalling is so farcical it is impossible to satirise it.

Meanwhile there is better news on the climate:

A few days ago NTD ran a story on 1600 international scientists having signed a declaration dismissing the existence of a climate crisis and insisting that carbon dioxide is beneficial to Earth.

“There is no climate emergency,” the Global Climate Intelligence Group (CLINTEL) said in its World Climate Declaration (pdf), made public in August. “Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures.”

A total of 1,609 scientists and professionals from around the world have signed the declaration, including 321 from the United States.

The coalition reiterated what climate change sceptics have said for years, that the Earth’s climate constantly changed for as long as it has existed, with the planet experiencing several cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age only ended as recently as 1850, they said.

“Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming,” the declaration said.

Can we reprogram existing life at will?

To synthetic biologists, the answer is yes. The central code for biology is simple. DNA letters, in groups of three, are translated into amino acids—Lego blocks that make proteins. Proteins build our bodies, regulate our metabolism, and allow us to function as living beings. Designing custom proteins often means you can redesign small aspects of life—for example, getting a bacteria to pump out life-saving drugs like insulin.

All life on Earth follows this rule: a combination of 64 DNA triplet codes, or “codons,” are translated into 20 amino acids.

But wait. The math doesn’t add up. Why wouldn’t 64 dedicated codons make 64 amino acids? The reason is redundancy. Life evolved so that multiple codons often make the same amino acid.

So what if we tap into those redundant “extra” codons of all living beings, and instead insert our own code?

A team at the University of Cambridge recently did just that. In a technological tour de force, they used CRISPR to replace over 18,000 codons with synthetic amino acids that don’t exist anywhere in the natural world. The result is a bacteria that’s virtually resistant to all viral infections—because it lacks the normal protein “door handles” that viruses need to infect the cell.

But that’s just the beginning of engineering life’s superpowers. Until now, scientists have only been able to slip one designer amino acid into a living organism. The new work opens the door to hacking multiple existing codons at once, copyediting at least three synthetic amino acids at the same time. And when it’s 3 out of 20, that’s enough to fundamentally rewrite life as it exists on Earth.

We’ve long thought that “liberating a subset of…codons for reassignment could improve the robustness and versatility of genetic-code expansion technology,” wrote Drs. Since the great manufacturing industries, engineering, shipbuilding, electricals, textiles etc. went into terminal decline in the 1970s the surplus labour has been sucked up by various means, Government sponsored Business Start-up Schemes created an army of self - employed service providers, re-training which is a polite words for sending people back to school in order to make the statistics look better, created an army of mature students, in some cases mature studenthood turned into a career for life, and the job creation program kept thousands occupied digging holes and filling them in again.

Government fiddles cannot go on forever of course and eventually instead of the activities that had provided meaningful work we developed the candy - floss industries, computer games, mobile phone ring tones and all the other stuff no-one really needs but media hype convinces us we must have. But even further along the road to extinction of human intelligence come the bullshit industries. My favourites among the providers of status enhancing bullshit are the life coaches, the people you pay vast sums of money so they will tell you that you are not such a total losers as you imagine (and everybody else knows) you are.

Leaders among Britain's growing legion of life coaches are husband and wife team are the positively scary Speakmans from Rochdale. These two will gladly relieve you of a grand a session and in return put you on a diet of grass, and I mean grass - the stuff sheep eat - smoothies and convince you that you cannot fail to be successful (or seriously deluded perhaps) if only you are always positive.

On planet Speakman this empowering positivity is achieved by being nerve janglingly cheerful and enthusiastic and by wearing constant insane grins that could only have been created under anaesthetic.

Sceptics may think that plastic surgery is the last resort of the terminally insecure but Nik and Eve seem to believe that "reinventing yourself" by simply having someone chop off the bits you don't like is the way to true happiness. It is hard to say whether the therapy works for them, both believe they look incredibly good for their ages (respectively 42 & 36 allegedly) as both have faces that do not quite seem to fit their skulls. But they are almost evangelical about their venture, in fact Nik, a former financial products salesman ('nuff said?) displays an Evangelists knack of deflecting awkward questions as they both grin on enthusiastically. It starts to seem quite sinister after a while.
Thanks to their persistence the pair have now landed their own T.V. show in which they will provide "life coaching" to a number of volunteers. Unfortunately the show is on an obscure digital channel so only about three people will be watching even at peak time.

One wonders what ever was going on in the mind of the Producer who decided to let these two self - anointed therapists and their crackpot theories loose on people who might have genuine problems. But then perhaps I am being unkind, the day may be about to dawn when that nice Mr. Blair gives us all life coaches paid for by the National Health Service.
Should that day come, its sad I am too late to hire Oliver Reed or Keith Moon as mine.
