Human Extinction At The Hands Of AI by 2030 - Well Maybe Not.

In this week's news coverage, mainstream media has devoted a lot of screen time and column inches to a non - story about an obscure tech - nerd resigning from a job in an AI startup because he fears that the lack of ethics among the Silicon Valley billionaire psychopath class will be so blinded by the pursuit of profit they will look away while intelligent machines unleash rogue AI agents that could kill us all by 2030.

It seems the aforementioned billionaire psychopaths, Bill Gates and company have given up on trying to create the virus that would start the next pandemic and the next COVID psyop because all thinking people know that despite a hugely expensive propaganda campaign to convince us that COVID would kill us all if we did not comply with orders issued on behalf of the billionaire psychopaths, the disease actually did not kill all that many people, and most of those who did die were a thousand years old and had at least a dozen deadly ailments.

I point this out because the recent scaremongering around Artificial Intelligence becoming an existential threat has all the hallmarks of a fear-and-panic psy - op to convince us we are in great danger and only by surrendering more of our rights and freedoms to increasingly fascistic governments can we be safe. Whether the takeover by AI is oligarchic insanity of socialist stupidity, powerful people are determined to make it a reality.

Now some habitually sceptical old gits like me may be thinking at this stage “hmmm, haven't we been somewhere like this before”?

But I’m sure the terminally gullible, those who are wise enough to know we must never question authority, will hasten to reassure you that this is the way real life definitely works. It is pure coincidence that suddenly everyone across the entirety of the political punditry spectrum is engaged in amplifying the same message: AI is coming to replace all us difficult humans.

/but as I commented in a thread on one of the national news organisation's sites a few days ago, no matter how many very powerful computers are linked together in a neural network, no matter how many terabytes of stolen date are in its Large Language Model, so long as there is one human around to throw the main power switch to 'OFF' and cut the feeds to the internet as soon as an AI agent steps out of line we have nothing to fear. 

We need to keep our compasses aligned to true common sense. IMHO, we are in the midst of a CIA style info shock & awe op staged by all the first tier players that control contemporary civ: corporate capitalists, their politicians, their government and their media. As I’ve mentioned many times over the past few years, the CIA and spook nation operate in the fog of information available…. “the fog of war”. 

We’re being sprayed with every crisis they’ve ever dreamed up, all at once, in an effort to save the Casino which is obsolete and in collapse. They still have buckets of humanity’s money assets hoarded to themselves, but they are paranoid that the People will react to their nightmare and take it all away For good. 

The governing class are way in over their heads. They are desperate enough to allow a war-mongering psychopath as prez, blow up geopolitical energy; blow up the domestic and world economy; sell off, strip-mine and clear cut national forests; non-liability clause all corporations and gov’t agencies; invest in, subsidize and arm Artificial Intelligence, data centers and micro-nukes; terminate all regulatory constraints for the 1%… all just to COVER THEIR COLLAPSE of THEIR DREAMED OF TECHNOCRTIC UTOPIA taking us with it.

How do we stop them? By keeping our eyes on prize – what we want Life to be, not them. A real democracy where we make the rules and we get the rewards. Tax the rich into civility enforced by lack of excess capital and access to more excess capital which enables their projecting of authority to decide the future of humanity. We have right to make and enforce rules that make life not only safe for humanity but enjoyable. It’s up to us, we can and must control AI.

Why Are Government Psyop Experts And Propagandists Distancing Themselves From Behavioural Science?

The state’s reliance on behavioural science strategies – ‘nudges’ – to facilitate the public’s compliance with covid restrictions has been widely documented. The many psychologists and behavioural scientists advising the government during the covid event (such as those in the SAGE subgroup, SPI-B, and the Behavioural Insight Team, BIT ) have, reasonably, been assumed to hold a significant degree of responsibility for using these methods of persuasion in communication campaigns.

Intriguingly, however, several prominent psychological specialists within these advisory groups have attempted to distance themselves from involvement in nudging, not only from the specific use of fear inflation but also – more recently – from being associated with all forms of this type of furtive persuasion. So what is the evidence that the state’s psychological experts are denying responsibility for the deployment of behavioural science strategies, and what could be motivating these claims?

Contrary to the evidence of the published outputs of the SPI-B and BIT, a series of behavioural experts have claimed zero responsibility for scaring people (the ‘affect’ nudge) into compliance with the covid-19 restrictions and subsequent vaccine rollout. In March 2022, Professor Ann John (a SPI-B co-chair) told a Government’s Science & Technology Committee:

‘We never advised on upping the level of fear. I think it was presented as part of the evidence base… we absolutely advised that fear does not work’.  

In March 2023, four members of the SPI-B (Professors Reicher, Michie, Drury, and West) wrote an opinion piece for the British Medical Journal in which they claimed that politicians, not they, were responsible for fear inflation during the covid event .... Continue reading (long article) >>>

How Soon Will We Be Reporting Daily Atrociries From Taiwan

 With battle still raging, or more accurately because this is not mainstream media, with Russian artillery still pounding Ukrainian militrary forces and civilian settlements as the Ukoies continue to launch frontal attacks on entrenched and well defended Russian positions, and as the kerfuffle between Israel and the Hamas irregular forces of the putative Palestinian state in Gaza looks set to explode into a regional war with Israel and its friends in america and Europe ranged against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran (with a little help from their friends Russia and China, there is again talk of conflict between the USA and China as the Chinese Communist Perty government in Beijing again turns the screws on the offshore island breakaway state.

Pundits in the USA are asking when Taiwan will provoke China into launching a military action, thus enabling Washington to set in and get the final stage in the trio of proxy wars against their perceived enemies.

Fortunately the Taiwanese are not stupid, they can see what’s happening in Ukraine where America is making the bullets for Zelenskyyy's hapless conscripts to fire. They know America has a weak administration fronted by an incompetent, demented geriatric, that the American economy is bankrupt, public opinion in the USA is bitterly divided over continuing support for Ukraine and direct or indirect support for Israel and will not countenance another proxy war that is likely do descend into a prolonged, resource gobbling stalemate.

Support for the conflict in Ukraine and the likely escalation of the Gaza situation is only being maintained by  Western deep state psyops, controlled from the top-down to deceive “ordinary people” into seeing Russia, China and Iran as existential threats and thus allowing the continuation without objection. The purpose of the conflicts is not to protect 'we the people' from such existential threats but to advance the globalist agends being pushed on elected governments by billionaire psychopaths.

The Taiwanese are generally far more politically astute than the US gives them credit for. Do you remember when Secretary of State Blinken was publicly scolded in Alaska by his Chinese “partner”?

That could just as easily have been a Taiwanese lecture, we’re the Taiwanese not entirely dependent upon the “Special Status” of “non-independent territory of China that remains essentially independent.”

The Taiwanese know their independent status is “unsustainable,” over the long term. The bourgeoisie and political elite know that, but the masses are mercilessly assaulted by US / NATO propaganda through many windows. The pyromaniacs of US imperialism seem disappointed with the fires they've started around the world so far (israel, Ukraine, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan, Iraq, to name but a few..
