Yes, Iran Has Actually Closed The Strait Of Hormuz Again

 

 

After a news pantomime last night and earlier today (Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz ... Oh no they haven't ... Oh yes they have,) it has finally been confirmed that Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz once again over Israel's air strikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, which Iran describes as“violations” of the peace deal agreed with the USA, Tehran’s military has said. Technically Hezbollah is not part of Trump's war and the conflict between the terrorit organisation's forces in Lebanon and the Israelis is a separate issue.

The Iranian military command ‌stated the closure was the “first ‌step” in response to what it described as breaches of the ceasefire agreement, warning that further measures would ‌be taken if “aggression” continued, Iran's state media reported.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned vessels not to venture into  the shipping lanes through the strait, saying their security would be at risk.

The US military immediately denied that Iran had control of the strait. A spokesman for Central Command said: “Traffic continues to move through the strait, and US forces are monitoring the situation ‌to ensure this remains the case.”

The reports emerged as JD Vance, the US vice-president, told Fox ​News that ‌he was confident ​the ceasefire agreed in Washington’s 14-point deal ⁠with ⁠Tehran would hold. He claimed there was no evidence that the strait was shut. That may well be true but it is equally true that there is no evidence it is open. What captain is going to risk his ship and the lives of himself and his crew trying to find out.

Independent reports reveal Israeli strikes on Lebanon killed 16 people this morning, with the country claiming it was responding to attacks by Hezbollah.But these strikes are nothing to do with Trump or America.

Israel is not the USA. Israel is a sovereign state, whether Iran recognises its right to exist or not. (Spoiler, it doesn't.) Israel is not a signatory. to the Islamabad Memorandum. Hezbollah is not the government of Lebanon and neither are its commanders the IRGC.

Israel is not leaving the buffer zone south of the Litani river and is not allowing Hezbollah to rearm and return to the border to carry out another Hamas style, or worse, October 7th.Hezbollah is a proscribed terrorist group and is widely recognised as an  Iranian asset.

The Lebanese army are too weak to control the 90,000 strong Iranian proxy militia, Hezbollah.

UNIFIL (The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) set up in 2006 has not succeeded disarming Hezbollah and not keeping them north of the Lebanon / Israel  border.Thus it is wholly disingenuous of Iran to use the Israel - Hezbollah conflict as an excuse for closing Hormuz again, and suggests the government of Iran had no intention of honouring the peace deal. No surprise there.

So much for treaties not worth the paper they are written on. So much for useless UN bodies which are actually in favour of the erasure of Israel.

Though White House and Pentagon sources have continued throughout today that contrary to Iran's claims The Strait of Hormuz remains open for business as usual, Windward on X has this:

 Hours after the IRGC's closure announcement, AIS traffic through the Strait of Hormuz suggested business as usual. But overnight, the picture shifted: zero AIS transits were recorded through the strait, and only two non-Iranian commercial vessels were AIS-visible this morning. Hesitation is back in an already unpredictable corridor. 

 So as another round of talks, this time in Switzerland, breaks up it looks as though the war is still on

Erdogan Says Israel Is Dragging Whole Region Into All-Out War

 As news comes in of Islamic militia Hezbollah launching its retribution for Israel's sneaky sabotage of pagrs and raio's used in Lebanon, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Israel of dragging the whole Middle East into a full scale regional war. The Turkish president has previously laid sole blame on Israel for everything that's happened since October 7 last year.

Meanwhile The United Nations is warning of 'catastrophe' in Lebanon while  special coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, said on X, "With the region on the brink of an imminent catastrophe, it cannot be overstated enough: there is NO military solution that will make either side safer."

"I have been saying all along that Israel targets not only the Gaza Strip, the recent attacks on Lebanon have confirmed our suspicion that the Israeli leadership's plan is to spread the war to the entire region," Erdogan said. It certainly seems so as the pager attack rndomly struck inside Lebanon and though Israel claims it targeted only Hezbollah fighters, civilians were also struck by the sabotaged devices which were on open sale throughout Lebanon.

Following the exploding pagers stunt we can expect that any Mossad and Military Intelligence (Aman) headquarters/offices in israel, and even beyond, will now be prime targets by Hezbollah and other Resistance members. It's also likely that the CIA and MI6 knew very well what was going on and kept close tabs on it etc etc

If the pager sabotage was an effort to target Hezbollah members, the ideal system would have included tracking of the pagers, including such basics as whether or not they were even turned on and so forth. However pagers are relatively unsophisticated gadgets and its unlikely the firmwar needed for such a task would have been incorporated into the latest models.

If Hezbollah at some point began dismantling pagers to check or doing diagnostics on the software (both relatively time consuming and small scale, being limited by the number of experts trusted to be able to do this) the Zionists could have deduced Hezbollah was catching on. 

The intrinsic difficulty of deciding whether it was a handful of pagers intercepted pager by pager somewhere before being bought by the members, or all of a particular brand, or merely all of a particular shipment, would have delayed the time. Even worse, dissemination of the discovery would have been slowed by the need to investigate whether any internal turncoats or Lebanese opponents of Hizbullah were players in the affair. And deciding what to do about it depended on being relatively sure precisely what the problem was. These seem to me to be reasonable questions that destroy the credibility of Isrsel's claims..

On the other hand, the Zionists may have just found out Hizbullah was switching to pagers (deducing it partly from the drop in cell phone sigint?) They seeded some rigged pagers with no such tracing and merely hope a random one time signal might take out enough Hizbullah to profit them. It's not like civilian collateral damage is a high cost for them, they wouldn't see much or any outrage over more or less random terrorism. 

As to the effect? It's good PR for Zionist supporters as a making the Zionists look both ruthless and effective. State sponsored terrorism is never a strategy guaranteed to win in the long run, but only rational people are much more likely to be concerned with the long run.

How Soon Will We Be Reporting Daily Atrociries From Taiwan

Pundits in the USA are asking when Taiwan will provoke China into launching a military action, thus enabling Washington to set in and get the final stage in the trio of proxy wars against their perceived enemies.

Fortunately the Taiwanese are not stupid, they can see what’s happening in Ukraine where America is making the bullets for Zelenskyyy's hapless conscripts to fire. They know America has a weak administration fronted by an incompetent, demented geriatric, that the American economy is bankrupt, public opinion in the USA is bitterly divided over continuing support for Ukraine and direct or indirect support for Israel and will not countenance another proxy war that is likely do descend into a prolonged, resource gobbling stalemate.

Support for the conflict in Ukraine and the likely escalation of the Gaza situation is only being maintained by  Western deep state psyops, controlled from the top-down to deceive “ordinary people” into seeing Russia, China and Iran as existential threats and thus allowing the continuation without objection. The purpose of the conflicts is not to protect 'we the people' from such existential threats but to advance the globalist agends being pushed on elected governments by billionaire psychopaths.

The Taiwanese are generally far more politically astute than the US gives them credit for. Do you remember when Secretary of State Blinken was publicly scolded in Alaska by his Chinese “partner”?

That could just as easily have been a Taiwanese lecture, we’re the Taiwanese not entirely dependent upon the “Special Status” of “non-independent territory of China that remains essentially independent.”

The Taiwanese know their independent status is “unsustainable,” over the long term. Is USA Trying To Draw Hezbollah Into Palestine-Israeli Conflict

 

On October 7, paramilitary forces of the Hamas terrorist organisation which is funded by Saudi Arabia, Qatart and the UAE, launched a cowardly assault on Israel that resulted in the deaths and captures of numerous Israeli civilians and military personnel and sparked an Israeli military response that targeted the entire Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip.

Lebanon based paramilitary group Hezbollah, funded mainly by Iran and Syria, immediately threatened repercussions against Israel if Tel Aviv moves forward with its planned ground campaign in the Gaza Strip, which Israel claims is necessary to destoy Hamas as a fighting force. Tensions on the Israeli-Lebanese border high with exchanges of artillery fire and missile strikes in both directions.

Israeli forces continue to bombard the Gaza enclave with aircraft and artillery, but if Israeli ground forces were brought into Gaza, the Hezbollah movement, a well organised irregular army with tens of thousands of well trained fighting men, will take up arms and invade Israel from the north.

Rustem Klupov, a Russian military intelligence veteran, contends that Iran will have a significant influence on whether or not Hezbollah joins the fight.

Although Hezbollah is unlikely to be capable of seizing control of a significant chunk of Israeli territory, Klupov claims that it is more than capable of annoying Israel’s security forces and that its rockets and missiles are capable of striking targets almost anywhere in Israel.

Klupov suggested that Hezbollah may be reluctant to “open a second front” in the northern parts of Israel because doing so would invite retaliation from both Israel and the United States, which “badly needs a short victorious war” and also has a sizable military presence in the area.

He also implied that a third party, like the US, would arrange a provocation that would involve Hezbollah in a fight. This is very dangerous as the USA would have to attack Iran to cut of Hezbollah's supply lines and as well as being a formidable military power in its own right, Iran's partners in a mutual assistance pact are China and Russia.

The Israeli conflict has dragged us a lot nearer to World War Three in a few weeks than Ukraine's war with Russia managed to in almost two years of conflict.

It has always been said that truth is the first casualty in any war. This has certainly been true throughout the ongoing conflict in Ukraine with the Ukrainians ridiculously claiming they are winning while the Russians equally ridiculously claim they are not complete and utter bastards. It is also becoming clear the brewing regional war currently confined to the Gaza strip is heading the same way, with the Palestinian terroist group HAMAS claiming they are not terrorists while Israel claims that in bombing the crap out of innocent civilians it is only taking reasnable steps to defend itself.

Among all these claims we have little idea of what is really going on.

Today however, we can bring you a view from inside Gaza posted by a resident of the Gaza Strip on the situation in the besieged enclave. Nur Alsalibi, a resident of Gaza, on the situation in the city and the Israeli Air Force strikes—especially for the @voenkorKotenok TG channel:

"The situation in the city is very difficult. The intensity of the strikes is growing every day. Rockets can fly anywhere at any time. Even if they don't hit your house, but the neighbouring one, blast fragments will fly into your house. Basically, they bomb the north and the “centre” (“Al Rimal”) [the Al Rimal neighbourhood is 3km from Gaza's city centre –ed.]. Al Karama residential area [in Gaza's north –ed.] has been completely destroyed. In Al Zahraa [in the central Gaza Strip –ed.], 24 residential buildings were destroyed.

Israel says Hamas was there, but that's a lie—they weren't there. Hamas fighters have gone into the tunnels under the city; Israeli missiles cannot even reach them. More than 90% of the dead were civilians. The figure of 4,385 dead is only those who could be found under the rubble. The real death toll is many times higher. A lot of children are dying who don’t know what Hamas and the IDF are.

The humanitarian situation is also getting worse. There has been no electricity for about two weeks. My family uses solar panels, so we have internet and at least some electricity. Most don't have this. People charge their phones in hospitals where there are diesel generators, but there is less and less diesel for them. Pharmacies are closed, medicines are only available in hospitals, but they are also running out.

The water in the taps is provided for two hours a day—it's dirty, but you have to drink it, there is no other water. No food. Large supermarkets closed in the first days of the war, because... people swept away everything that was there, but there were no new products. We mainly eat bread and canned food. Even animals suffer. I have three kittens in my house, and give them just a little food, because there’s nowhere to get more.

The fact that the population is allegedly leaving Gaza is an Israeli lie. Most remained in their homes. People are not leaving even under the threat of death. At the same time, phones are constantly receiving threatening messages from Israeli numbers. You may also receive a notification that “your house will be bombed” so that people feel in danger every minute.

We know that Russia opposes the West and does not support Israeli crimes. In Gaza they love Russia and the Russian people very much. Among the Arab countries, there is a very good attitude towards Qatar, Algeria, and Yemen. Among non-Arab ones—towards Iran. We believe that Iran and Hezbollah will intervene and prevent the genocide of Gaza.

But the attitude towards the governments of Egypt, the UAE and Jordan is very bad. Here, they are considered traitors who caved in to the USA and Israel. The final straw was the Jordanian king's announcement to provide air bases to the American Air Force. And in general, the Jordanian government's attitude towards the Palestinians has always been bad. If you have a Palestinian passport, the Jordanian security forces treat you like shit—they could detain you at the airport, or on the street, or raid you with a search.

As for the ground operation, I do not believe that Israel will launch it. The last time they carried out a limited ground operation was in 2014, when Hamas did not have the weapons it has today. And even then, Israel suffered great losses. Now they will be hundreds of times higher. If they enter Gaza, they will all remain here. People believe that Hamas will win. Support for the movement has only grown. Israel will achieve nothing by bombing."

It's Kicking Off In Palestine - But What's The Real Story Behind The Headlines

Now the initial shock of the attack by Hamas terrorists on Israel has died down it is time to look a little more deeply into the background to this story. Why, for example did Israel, a state obsessed with security and military intelligence to the point of paranoia, ignore warnings from Egypt that some major action by Hamas was imminent, and how did Israeli state security services not know of this hostile activity themselves. Or did they?

Did the Israeli regime perhaps decide to let the attack go ahead in order to create a case that would enable them to implement a plan they have nurtured for decades?

We hear fro our contacts across the pond that US government has been and is involved in talks with Israel and Egypt to establish "safe passage" corridors for civilians in Gaza to flee ongoing Israeli airstrikes. The the White House said on Wednesday that a major ground offensive by Israeli Defence Force troops in the besieged enclave is being prepared.

"We're actively discussing this with our Israeli and our Egyptian counterparts, we support safe passions for civilians. Civilians are not to blame for what Hamas has done. They didn't do anything wrong," National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby told reporters during the daily White House press conferrence.

"We are actively working on this with Egyptian and our Israeli counterparts. Civilians are protected under the laws of armed conflict, and they should be given every opportunity to avoid the fighting," he added.

As is often the case what he did not say was more significant than what he said. And what he did not say was anything about when, if ever, the inhabitants of the Gaza strip would be allowed to return to their homes. For decades, Western media outlets, academics, military experts and world leaders have described the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as intractable, complicated and deadlocked and the focus of the problem has always been Gaza.

Awareness of the history of this area strongly suggests that the sequence of events over the past few days, from the lapses of Israel's security system to the apparently half hearted US response point to a long term plan to depopulate the Gaza strip so that Israel can annexe it and resettle the land with people of Jewish ethnicity. At the moment Gaza is under siege. Completely blockaded and cut off from the world its people have no electricity or drinking water and it will not be long before they are hit by shortages of food and medicines. And all the time the Israeli bomb, missiles and artillery shells rain down.

Thus the evacuation plan is ethnic cleansing, a war crime presented as humanitarian refeif mission. Once the people have left they would have no right of return to their homes. People who have lived in an open air prison for decades, their whole lives in some cases, would simply be transferred to another open air prison, this time presented as a refugee camp.

Egypt is the only country they could realistically be moved to, but is already bankrupt. Egypt cannot provide for its own hundred million people, depending on supplies for Ukrainian and Russian grain via United Nations aid programs. An extra two million from Gaza, all poor, many barely literate and some of them Islamic fundamentalists and attached to terrorist groups, could easily unbalance the Egyptian state especially if disruption of the supply chain from Ukraine and Russia continues .

However if an ethnic cleansing by depopulation plan were to be put into action it would guarantee that the Islamic fundamentalist paramilitary groups including Hezbollah, al Qaeda, and ISIS would add their forces to Hamas and backed by Islamic theocracies from the Atlantic coast of Africa to Afghanistan, would step in. They would attack Israel to prevent such a move.

The U.S. thinks it can deter resistance action by threatening to move in with its own forces. That's why the USS Gerald Ford, its newest carrier, was moved into the Eastern Mediterranean. Rumors have it that a second carrier will come in too. But US invincibility has suffered too many setbacks to be a credible threat. Obama started a war in Syria back in 2011, with the avowed aim of removing the dictator Assad but in 2023 with US military personnel still involved in Syria, Assad is still in power. From 2014, when a corrupt, pro - Russia, but democratically elected government in Kiev was replaced by a US engineered coup, the puppet government installed in Ukraine systematically provoked Russia. Yet when Russia did eventually respond, the USA, led by demented geriatric Joe Biden was impotent when Vladimir Putin ignored American threats as he had ignored Obama's eight years earlier. The list of foreign policy disasters goes on, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen ...

Clearly the Islamic world's pushback against American threats and Israeli bullying will not deterred by by US sabre rattling because various US presidents have shown they lack the testicular fortitude to draw their sabre and use it. The last time the U.S. tried to intervene in Lebanon it ended up with 241 dead Marines and had to retreat in shame. Hezbollah at that time was only a handful of men. Today Hezbollah has tens of thousands of very well trained men. Then there is also Iran with China and Russia as its allies. And if things went that far, which way would Pakistan jump. Pakistan is a nuclear power in its own right.

Should Israel try to bring in the full might of NATO to the Eastern Mediterranean to threaten not only Lebanon but Russian bases in Syria, the gloves, which have remained on throughout the Ukrainian conflict, would certainly come off. With Patrushin and Shoygu holding the reins of state and a clear and present NATO threat on Syria's doorstep while the western alliance is still talking in terms of fast tracking membership for Ukraine, expect a strong and unexpected Russian intervention in the multifront Israel-Hamas-Hezbollah war.
