Strategic Defence Review Lobbies For Incresed Spending On Military While Reeves Struggles To Find £12bn For Starmer's Current Spending Pledge

Rachel Reeves will have to bump up taxes by an extra £12bn if she wants to boost defence spending to 2.5pc of GDP in line with Keir Starmer's pledge to NATO and at the same time avoid a fresh round of austerity.

Economists have warned that Sir Keir Starmer’s ambition to bolster the defence budget implied the Chancellor would have to raise taxes or cut spending by £6bn a year alone if she wanted to hit the target by the end of the decade. Unfortunately Starmer and other European idiot heads oif government want that now because they fancy their chances of holding the line against Russia in Ukraine if President Trump cuts off the supply of arms and money to Kiev. Starmer has also allied himself with European warmongers who claim, without anything to substantiate their paranoid ravings, that if Ukraine falls Putin plans to advance right through Europe to the Atlantic coast. They back this up by suggesting The Kremlin is already conducting a campaign of intimidation, blackmail, and political leverage against European nations.

Ensuring that no Whitehall department faces real-terms cuts to its budget for day-to-day spending during this parliament would mean that £12bn of tax rises will be needed, according to the Resolution Foundation.

While Labour has not set out a timetable for raising defence spending to 2.5pc of the economy, military chiefs tasked with carrying out a Stratefic Defence Review, with a view tio reparing the UK to face Russia in armed conflict shortly after the Labour government took office have been piling pressure on the Prime Minister to go further and faster amid demands from Donald Trump to lift spending to as much as 5pc of GDP.

This means Chancellor Reeves faces the prospect of being forced to break her promise not to “come back with more borrowing or more taxes” less than six months after her record tax raid. Alternatively, she risks angering public sector unions by imposing deep spending cuts to unprotected Whitehall departments such as transport and housing.

While the Chancellor has suggested funding for Starmer's delusional posturing will come from cuts to spending and welfare, the Treasury has left the door open for more tax rises in March against a backdrop of low growth and higher borrowing costs.

Military spending demands and the pressure to protect certain government department’s budgets mean unprotected departments face finding total cuts of up to £12bn, or the equivalent of 6pc in real terms over this parliament.

Clearly, defence spending can be a technological driver of growth and the Military Industrial Complex a generally stable provider of employment and therefore taxable income. But UK’s relative economic position vis-à-vis the US and western Europe (and why not eastern Europe and the east?) is very much more dependent on service industries, which are best served by (a) a government which supports innovation and entrepreneurship, (b) a government promoting good relationships with all countries in the world and (c) inexpensive and stable energy supply. All of these things are under attack by the Labour governments foreign, business and energy policies.

The EU is a restrictive market so it was a good idea to leave it. As a small example, I recently learned that Japan imports its strawberries from Serbia, one of the few European – strawberry producing – countries not in the EU. Japan is a big market!

There is no Soviet bloc anymore and the Cuban missile crisis should remind you how understandable it is that a country will not accept another country placing missiles aimed at its main cities directly on its border. This was the main reason for Russia's first militarily approaching Kiev to convince the Ukrainian government that Moscow was serious about not having NATO missiles on its border and, when that was unsuccessful (because Russia naively believed France and Germany would convince Ukraine to step back), Russia was forced to invade.

We should not forget the US and NATO build up of weapons and military training in Ukraine since 2014 (and probably before), the push by the Obama and Biden administrations to fast track Ukraine into NATO nor the CIA training of Ukrainian insurgents at a dozen secret sites on the border to Russia (as reported by the New York Times, https://www.nytimes.com/2024/02/25/world/europe/cia-ukraine-intelligence-russia-war.html).

Some pundits have said we must never allow ourselves to be put in a position where we have choose between aligning ourselves with the United States or Europe when, firstly, there is no reason for the two to be exclusive and, secondly, USA has just distanced itself from Europe (including UK) in telling us that Ukraine is forthwith our problem. That sounds rather like the US playing its standard role of school playground bully: you either do business with us or we sanction/tax/tariff you! But the world is tired of such behaviour which is one reason why BRICS is so successful.

My point is that UK should keep itself well away from all conflicts and, instead, encourage peace and wealth through business while having a healthy and strong defence force, but it should only be used for defence and not for aggression.

And the only intimidation, blackmail, and political leverage we are suffering from is from our own politicians.

Snubbed By Trump and Putin, European Leaders(!) To Hold Their Own Summit On Ukraine

Following the Munich security summit European leaders will gather next week for an emergency summit on the war in Ukraine in response to concerns the US and Russia are moving ahead with  peace talks that will exclude Europe. Senior figures in the Trump2 administration are due to meet Russian and Ukrainian negotiators in Saudi Arabia in the coming days, US officials say.

Sir Keir Starmer, never one to turn down a freebie, will attend the five star jolly meting in Paris, and described it as it was a "once-in-a-generation moment for our national security" which made clear Europe must take a greater role in Nato.

The move comes after Donald Trump's special envoy to Ukraine said European leaders would be consulted but not take part in any talks between US and Russia over ending the war. The toxic dwarf of Kiev was mot mentioned.

In remarks likely to be cause concern in Ukraine and among European allies, special envoy Keith Kellogg said previous negotiations had failed because too many parties had been involved.

"It may be like chalk on the blackboard, it may grate a little bit, but I am telling you something that is really quite honest," he said on Saturday.

SStarmer is understood to see his role as bringing US and Europe together to ensure a united approach to peace in Ukraine. Considering his success in uniting Britons in hatred of his government it is hard to see him achieving anything other than making the situation worse although in view of the constant stream of propaganda, from London,Paris and Brussels claiming that Ukraine is still winning it is hard to see how even somebody of SStarmers innate ineptiyude could make things worse.

The UK prime minister will discuss the views of European leaders when he visits US President Trump at the White House at the end of this month. A further meeting of European leaders together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to take place after Sir Keir returns from Washington.

Sir Keir said the UK would "work to ensure we keep the US and Europe together", adding the two could not "allow any divisions in the alliance to distract" from "external enemies".

Polish foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski said Emmanuel Macron had called the summit of European leaders, although has not yet been announced by the French president which makes one wonder if any European leaders actually know what they are doing.

Sikorski said: "President Trump has a method of operating, which the Russians call reconnaissance through battle. You push and you see what happens, and then you change your position, legitimate tactics. And we need to respond.

Earlier on Saturday, Zelensky called for the creation of an "army of Europe" amid rising concern the US may no longer come to the continent's aid. Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, he said US Vice-President JD Vance's speech at the event had made it clear that the old relationship between Europe and America was "ending" and the continent "needs to adjust to that".

But Zelensky also said Ukraine would "never accept deals made behind our backs without our involvement" after Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to start peace talks.

The US president earlier this week had a lengthy conversation with the Vladimir Putin following which he announced that negotiations to stop the "ridiculous war" in Ukraine would begin "immediately". Trump then "informed" Zelensky of his plan.

On Saturday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also held a phone call with Russia's foreign minister "building on" the 12 February call between Trump and Putin. Trump's call with the Russian president earlier this week broke nearly three years of silence between Washington and Moscow.

US Representative Michael McCaul , chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Reuters news agency. he understood Zelensky had been invited to take part in the Saudi talks, which were aimed at arranging a meeting with Trump, Putin and the Ukrainian president "to finally bring peace and end this conflict".

A day earlier, Vance had launched a scalding attack on European democracies, saying the greatest threat facing the continent was not from Russia and China, but "from within". In a speech at the Munich Security Conference, he repeated the Trump administration's line that Europe must "step up in a big way to provide for its own defence".

UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy has said the UK and EU countries must spend more on defence, with Europe facing an "existential question" even in the event of a negotiated peace in Ukraine.

Lammy told the Munich Security Conference on Saturday "Putin will not go away", and that, while it was positive 23 Nato countries were now spending at least 2% of their GDP on defence, "we all know we have to go upward".

 US Vice President J.D. Vance has shocked European leaders when he accused them of “criminalising” free speech, opening the immigration floodgates and brutally clamping down on dissent during in his address to the Munich Security Conference.  The US vice president also denounced the pariah status placed upon the popular AfD party, which the three parties involved in Germany's authoritarian ruling coalition, the more-socialist-than-Karl-Marx Social Democrats, the crazier-than-Howard Hughes Greens and the more inept than Mr. Bean FDP have tried to pass laws imposing a ban on the party taking part in democratic elections and even criminalising involvement with it.

“Democracy rests on the sacred principle that the voice of the people matters. There’s no room for firewalls,” he said, referencing a pledge by mainstream German parties not to work with or form governments with the party.

“The organisers of this very conference have banned lawmakers representing populist parties on both the left and the right from participating in these conversations,” he added, referring to the MSC this year barring politicians from the AfD politicians and the Left-populist Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance.

During his speech, Vance lectured European governments over free speech and mass immigration, accusing them of hostility to the idea that “somebody with an alternative viewpoint might express a different opinion or, God forbid, vote a different way, or even worse, win an election”.

The address was met with an angry rebuke from Boris Pistorius, the German defence minister, who labelled it “unacceptable”.

Olaf Scholz, the German chancellor, also rebuffed Mr Vance’s remarks as highly unusual, adding that Germany had a firewall against extreme right-wing parties for a good reason, citing its National Socialist past.

Olaf Scholz, the German chancellor, also rebuffed Mr Vance’s remarks as highly unusual, adding that Germany had a firewall against extreme right-wing parties for a good reason, citing its National Socialist past. German's are notoriously immune to irony, as was demonstrated by Scholz's remarks after his party has spent most of the last year trying to have the AfD banned because they are a threat to the authoritarian government he leads.

The U.S Vice President took his culture war with Europe even further, warning that its greatest threat came not from China or Russia but from within as he delivered a blistering attack on what he said was the continent's retreat from its traditional values.

Vance said free speech and democratic institutions were being eroded in an address to the Munich Security Conference.

He accused European politicians of forcing people to shut down social media accounts and urged leaders to do more to stem illegal immigration, reserving particular scorn for America's closest ally, citing the case of a British man arrested after praying near an abortion clinic.

'Europe faces many challenges, but the crisis this continent faces right now, the crisis I believe we all face together, is one of our own making,' he said.

'If you're running in fear of your own voters, there is nothing America can do for you, nor, for that matter, is there anything that you can do for the American people who elected me and elected President Trump.'

If his audience of European VIPs had expected Vance to discuss the future of the war in Ukraine, outlining Donald Trump's peace plan, they were in for a shock. Some shifted in their seats as he attacked European politicians head on, particularly over their enthusiasm for censorship and loathing of free speech, telling his audience: "Free speech, I fear, is in retreat and in the interests of comedy, my friends, but also in the interest of truth. I will admit that sometimes the loudest voices for censorship have come not from within Europe, but from within my own country, where the prior administration threatened and bullied social media companies to censor so-called misinformation. Misinformation, like, for example, the idea that coronavirus had likely leaked from a laboratory in China. Our own government encouraged private companies to silence people who dared to utter what turned out to be an obvious truth.

"So I come here today not just with an observation, but with an offer. And just as the Biden administration seemed desperate to silence people for speaking their minds, so the Trump administration will do precisely the opposite, and I hope that we can work together on that."

Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign policy chief, said the speech made by JD Vance was akin to the US “trying to pick a fight” with Europe.

“Listening to that speech, they try to pick a fight with us and we don’t want to a pick a fight with our friends,” Ms Kallas said at the Munich event.

She added that allies should be focusing on bigger threats like Russia’s aggression on Ukraine.

Carl Bildt, the co-chair of the European Council on Foreign Relations and former prime minister of Sweden, condemned Vance's speech: “At best it was totally irrelevant to European or global security concerns. At worst it was blatant interference in the (German) election campaign in favour of far-right AfD,” he commented on X.

Another day, another “Scamdemic”, you might well say to yourself, with a sigh and a shrug. To understand what is going on however, one  really must be aware of the business model used by Big Pharma corporations and government / NGO health agencies and that model is based on making us all patients for livfe, dependent for our continued existence on Big Pharma's products and public sector care.

The vaccine makers of the Big Pharma cartel do not build costly manufacturing facilities just to stand idle, they NEED a purpose, and that means it is up to each and everyone of us to willingly get whatever todays “miracle vaccine” is, regardless of effectiveness (or lack of.) Remember, the makers actually admitted before the COVID vaccines were released that the mRNA jabs would not make anybody immune, not would they prevent transmission between people. Yet somehow this vital information was completely lost in the torrent of scaremongering propagada from governments via mainstream media. The cartel members desperately need our arms to swell their coffers and generate the multi billion bonuses required by the hardworking, caring, managerial team. 

Rather than “Stay at Home, Protect the NHS”, the new slogan for the World should be - Give Us Your Arm, Trust Big Pharma to do no Harm; or maybe run a commercial showing a down and out searching thru bins with a hushed voice over- here is the ex CEO of MyArm Pharmaceutical, since the end of Covid, his Company was unable to sell any more experimental vaccines and fell on hard times (sad sad music), without a Scamdemic where his Company could overcharge for a useless experimental vaccine that actually did more harm than good, he has lost his job, lost his multi billion bonuses, however, with help from WHO, who knows where he could be next week………….Your Arm, his Bonus.

Remember, when all the dust settles, not one experimental vaccine manufacturer will face a custodial sentence, unlike the millions worldwide who are suffering the effects of gene altering chemicals that are interfering with those victims genome and causing further harm - oh hang on, this is a future income stream for Big Pharma to push “new, innovative” drugs to counteract the heart, lung, kidney, liver, stomach, eye damage done,

It is time to put COVID-19 into perspective with respect to all the preceeding fakedemics, several avianflu and swine flu fakedemics, BSE, monkeypox, SARS1, MERS, Ebola, back to the first putative new viral agent from a supposed zoonosis (13 allmost simultanous zoonses in fact, around 1930 in Central Africa): HIV.

In 1984 HIV was declared, without any proof, to be the cause of the AID Syndrome, this catalog of well known diseases, including tuberculosis, weight loss and prolonged fever. After that millions of people with positive HIV test were treated to death with high doses of highly toxic substances, like AZT. No one can survice 1800 mg of AZT daily, over month.

Over the next 40 years the dosages were dramatically reduced and switched to less toxic, but still highly toxic, substances like Tenofovir. And unsurprisinglt people with a positive HIV test under treatment lived longer. Who had thought that? Descovy now contains 9 times less Tenovofir than Truvada with respect to molecular weight.

The reason that the first scamdemic (HIV and the AID Syndrome) worked scientifically, was the false zoonosis hypothesis: that SIV jumped spontaneously around 1930 from 3 species of simians to human hosts in Central Afrika to form HIV. This then supposedly caused the cases of the AID Syndrome in the USA in the 1980s, when severely drug addicted homosexuals after years of alcohol, drug and antibiotics abuse, suffering from multiple sexually transmitted diseases showed a deterioration of their immune system. That really happend, but it had nothing to do with a virus. Before 1981 there was no AID Syndrome, so one needed a new viral agent for the new syndrome, when in fact the health of these homosexuals was destroyed by there own life style. Years of drug and alcohiol abuse had ruined their natutal immunity and they had little or no resistance to any infectious agent they encountered What was also new in the 1970s, after the Vietnam War, was the abundant availability of cheap (and dirty) drugs.

 HIV was only the starting point for a sequence of further putative zoonoses, avian flu, swin flu and so on, every 3 – 5 years. The PCR method (turned up way past eleven of course,) made it possible to find short sequences of animal viruses in almost everything. The next crisis was then proclaimed by supra-national bodies like the WHO and the cash poured in. Goverments spaffed trillions of pounds,dollars,euros on ordering enough vaccine doses to inject their entire population ten times over, committing to mass medication programmes even before  the vaccines had been developed.

The HIV theory of the AID Syndrome is wrong. A positive HIV test has nothing to do with any form of disease. Most people do not know that HIV is supposedly a “slow virus” that supposedly leads to the AID Syndrome 15 to 20 years later. 15 to 20 years in which the bodies of positively tested persons are destroyed by high toxic drugs. But the virus is identified as the cause and with PCR even distilled water becomes positive. Even less people know about the bystander-cell enigma. In the real AID Syndrome, after years of drug abuse, the not infected T-Cells of the immune system die. It can be traced back to the publications of HIV fraudster Robert Gallo in 1983 that there is far too little HIV in the body to explain the deterioration of the immune system in (real) AID Syndrome patients, in contrast to healthy persons who just happend to have a positive HIV test and who die from the highly toxic medication.

E Gallinazo wrote in Off Guardian:

I am a chemist and though it’s been many decades since I studied it in university or used it in the workplace, I still remember enough to read these “peer reviewed” papers with a critical eye. Which I did in the early stages of the scamdemic. (I choose not to use any other word for it). Reading the methodology of these papers was like watching an amateur magician on stage. The slight of hand by which they pulled the rabbit out of the hat was almost embarrassing. There never was a specific virus. Well, Kit says that is moot. I say that it is not moot. That the SARS-CoV-2 was a complete fabrication and a hoax is the fundamental keystone to discrediting the entire scam. And why is this important? If a significant percentage of the world population realizes that the engineered virus was a hoax, then the subsequent terror that they put the planet through was a malevolent hoax to its very core, and they can never pull this shit off again successfully.

In the USA the controlled opposition is still arguing as to who was behind this engineered virus. So the capacity to terrorize the world with a malevolent, artificial virus is still being accepted and propagated in the purported halls of power. I am not saying that the technology does not exist to engineer a “gain-of-function” horrendous virus. I have no way of knowing this either way. But what I do know was that any proof or honest evidence of the physical existence of this purported virus behind the totality of this scamdemic was a hoax. It never existed. And that is very important and has practical significance. And that is what the miscreants in the shadows truly fear.

In fact it is doubtful that there ever was a specific virus related to any disease.” Many doctors and medical researchers are sceptical regarding whether the entire pathogenic virus concept has been a century long scam or has a basis in reality. Added to that there is a lot of strong evidence for the former but it does not constitute proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Furthermore, proving a negative is essential impossible as the famous Australian black swan episode demonstrates.

Do we then believe that all of the gain of function work, and patents taken out on that work by Ralph Baric, University of Chapel Hill, NC (with Wuhan among others), could not have led to a bioweapon virus being intentionally spread?

The US Patent office was in no way either desirous or capable to demonstrate that these patents were valid or duplicitous. If one studies the “set-up” for the scamdemic, it becomes cleat that the hoax was well over a decade in the planning. The cabal knew that the story of the virus as a love child of a miscegenic relationship between a bat and a pangolin which was consummated in a soup kitchen would eventually fall apart, and they wanted to set up the basis for a fraud which was even more conducive to the success of their project fear psy-ops, namely a gain-of-function engineered virus. 

If you think about it, a genetically engineered virus is even more terrifying than a natural killer virus., Another example of the prep for the scamdemic was the Prep Act itself which came out just about the same time as these patents, which gave the US Department of Defense blanket authority to counter any act of biological warfare with total legal immunity, even potentially criminal, not only for the personnel of the DoD but for any person whom they authorize to work with them. Also Baric is an obvious scam artist, and these patents of his may well have been designed as a money making opportunity and a laundering operation. I highly suspect that the 20 odd biolabs set up by the CIA in Ukraine were essentially money laundering operations as was the US involvement and provocation of the Russian-Ukrainian war itself.

Given time and a substantial research budget it would be possible to prove beyond reasonable doubt that all the studies which identified Sars-CoV-2 were deliberately flawed and duplicitous. Unfortunately only governments, universities and the pharmaceutical corporations have such resurces at thir disposal and they are hardly likely to admit they colluded in perpetrating the greatest ever crime against humanity.

If the purported virus was gain-of-function engineered, it was a total flop as a pathogen and they should have just stuck with the traditional seasonal flu, which in fact they did to a large extent as I maintain that they did and just rebranded it in the traditional Bernays fashion.
And I will close with the famous quote attributed to Mark Twain, “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”

The Next Pademic:

 Earlier this month BARDA (the US Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority) announced it had awarded Moderna $176 million to be used to complete a late-stage development and testing of a vaccine against ‘bird’ flu.

Over the last year, Moderna tested its candidate, mRNA-1018, on 1,504 volunteers in a combined phase 1 and 2 trial, part of which was run in the UK by the NHS Health Research Authority. The new BARDA funding will underwrite a planned Phase 3 trial.

Ever prepared for lucrative vaccine opportunities, Moderna’s CEO Stephane Bancel extolled the advantages offered by mRNA tech – its ‘efficacy (as demonstrated by the SARS2 mRNA 'clotshot' killer vaccine?) speed of development and production scalability and reliability in addressing infectious disease outbreaks, as demonstrated during the Covid-19 pandemic’.

The continued collaboration with BARDA would ‘expedite our development efforts for mRNA-based pandemic influenza vaccines and support the global public health community in preparedness against potential outbreaks’.

What these potential ‘pandemic’ outbreaks so far have comprised, he omitted to mention. Very little in fact. In the last 'Bird Flu' scare in the UK thousands of healthy chickens and turkeys were culled (to stop the spread of the disease,) and according to news reports an eldery seagull found dead on a beach in north east England was declared the first natural victim of the disease.

Concerns over avian flu usually focus on H5N1, the hyped-up flu with the ‘highly pathogenic’ tagline. In 2014, concerns over gain-of-function research involving H5N1 led to a three-year US government funding pause.

H5N1 was first detected in 18 people in Hong Kong in 1997 then re-emerged in Vietnam in 2004 at precisely the time that the goal of replacing traditional egg-based influenza vaccine manufacture was crystallised. H5N1 is said to be particularly dangerous as it produces no identifiable symptoms in humans so, theoretically, a single person carrying the virus could infect thousands of others and they would never know they had the disease.

Aha! Another symptomless disease? There’s a lot of it about these days. I think I’m coming down with one because I am entirely without any symptoms.

Just a thought. If wild avians with bird ‘flu are not much affected, it must mean they have developed natural immunity to the virus and variants.

Sooooo… instead of slaughtering domestic fowl why not let nature take its course? Some will get snotty beaks and feel rotten fur a few days, then recover, others will die, others will have mild symptoms and recover. What’s left will have natural immunity, passed on through breeding.

Thus domestic birds will then not be much affected by their sneezing wild relatives.

The big problem with that - no vaccine sales, and no high drama.

Trump and Putin Agree In a Phone Call To Start Peace Talks Without Consulting Zelensky

 

 

President Trump spoke Wednesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin and said the two agreed to “start negotiations immediately” about the war in Ukraine.

Trump posted on Truth Social that he had a “lengthy and highly productive phone call” with Putin. It is the first publicly disclosed phone call between the two men since Trump took office. Trump said they discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, energy, artificial intelligence, the dollar and other topics.

“But first, as we both agreed, we want to stop the millions of deaths taking place in the War with Russia/Ukraine,” Trump wrote. “President Putin even used my very strong Campaign motto of, ‘COMMON SENSE.’ We both believe very strongly in it. We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s Nations.”

Trump said the two leaders agreed to have their teams begin negotiations on bringing an end to the war in Ukraine, which began roughly three years ago when Russian forces invaded the country and in that time seen a generation of Ukrainian men wiped out and most of that country's infrastructure destroyed.

Trump spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a short time after he got off the phone with Putin.

Pete Hegseth said that the United States would no longer “tolerate an imbalanced relationship” with its allies. We can't argue with that, but what concerns is is the way this news has triggered all the warmongers in main stream media to start wailing and gnashing their teeth about Putin's plan to conquer the whole of Europe one Ukraine has fallen. What makes them think Russia has some expansionist agend? Moscow does not have the money the money or domestic will to acquire more territory, they have as much as they can handle within their existing borders and basically want to be left alone. That desire to develop in their own way and exercise some influence on their neighbours to protect their massive land border is justified by the Ukro - Nazis of Kiev's years long efforts to gain admission to NATO which the Kiev nutters  believes would, by protecting them from reprisals, free them to provoke Russia in any way they chose. 

Why would Russia allow US troops and missile bases on its borders? Do the wantwar wankers think the US would countenance a ‘commie’ takeover of Canada or maybe missiles in Cuba? NATO has been snapping at the Russian heels for 30 years with unrelenting expansion and the previous US administrations fostered revolt in Ukraine in 2014. The more I observe Putin the more rational I think he is. Accommodating the Russian paranoia over invasion (have a look on wiki at how many times they’ve been invaded) should be on our to do list, JFK said as much over sixty years ago. 

Just why would Russia want to wage any sort of war in Europe? To gain access to NHS’s transgender surgery perhaps? Or access to expensive US LNG? To be able to drive on the left of the road? Would Putin prefer Buckingham Palace to the Kremlin?

Just why would Russia want to bankrupt itself and kill its citizens purely to wage war somewhere? Why would Russia want to conquer Europe when most EU member states /are economic basket cases and  EU bureaucrats have even broken the German economic powerhouse

And why are our leaders and opinion makers promoting such rhetoric, especially since they equally state we cannot protect ourselves without support from the USA anyway?

How about promoting peace? How about extolling how beneficial it would be to develop friendly relationships with all countries of the world, especially Russia and China, rather than trying to out-arm them?

Ukraine is a corrupt shithole run by gangsterswho have has committed disgusting crimes against their own citizens, and has additionally been disgracefully exploited and misused by  its USA and European allies as a proxy in a war to weaken and threaten Russia. Should we regard either of these facts as honourable?

We should back Trump's peace plan and throw the cocained addicted crook Zelensky to the lions. This would at least show compassion for the people of Ukrain who have suffered enough. Maybe their country will lose a significant slice of its land, but at least it would stop Ukraine's young men and women being sent to the front line to lose their lives.
