The Anti - Russia Alliance In Ukraine is breaking

 Since war broke out between Russia and Ukraine last February the unity of the NATO member states in their support of Ukraine has seemed unshakable according to reporting of the war by mainstream media. That unity was exaggerated somewhat, to serve the "Evil Russians in black hats, brave little Ukraine in white hats," narrative which was designed to keep citizens of the liberal democracies onside in spite of the escalating costs of the war and the increasingly apparent hopelessness of Ukraine's position as their leader, Bellendskyyyyy, the clown with the piano playing penis, begged for more and more sophisticated armaments from his NATO allies. 

The war was always a proxy war between /nATO and Russia, a conflict sought by the USA and NATO since the turn of the century. There have been previous attempts by NATO to implement this 'final solution,' The Balkans, Iraq, Syria etc. but in those cases US nPresidents were not crazy enough to push Russia all the way to the line. This time however, with Crazy Demented Paedophile Joe Biden occupying The White House, there has been no such restra int. The people of Ukraine, 99.9% of whom just wanted to live ordinary peaceful lives I'm sure, are trapped in the chosen venue for the long awaited war.

When NATO wanted a fall guy to provoke the Russians into an attack the neo - Nazi nutters installed as the Ukrainian government in Kiev by the US /NATO / EU engineered coup of 2014 were only too happy to oblige. Their pathological hatred of Russia and all things Russian was the reason they were the alliances' choice to replace a corrupt but democratically elected government.

Initially reports from the war were all about Ukrainian victories and Ukrainian heroism, even as Russia advanced, taking more and more territory. If all the stories of Ukriainan triumph had been true they would have taken Murmansk and Vladivostock by mid - summer.

Lately though, there has been a change of tone. What had been reported as great Ukrainian military victories, such as the retaking of Kherson late last year, were revealed as Ukrainian troops entering territory from which the Russians had withdrawn in order to consolidate their forces in more easily defensible positions, while Russian advances in the east of Ukraine are being acknowledged even in sections of mainstream media that has been unfailingly loyal to the narrative.

Suddenly Bellendskyyyyy's begging bowl missions to Washington, New York, Brussels, London and  are failing to elicit donations of cash, military hardware and ammunition. The government in Ukraine have sworn to fight to the last man, woman or child and it is clear they are mad enough to keep escalating the war until Russia abandons all restraint and launches a crushing offensive. All they need is highly sophisticated long range weapons, the latest heavyweight battle tanks from USA, UK and Germany, latest high tech missile systems and unlimited supplies of ammunition and spare parts. Oh, and the trained personnel to use all these machines of mass slaughter.

Maybe NATO leaders are getting cold feet about facilitating the slaughter (on both sides,) that would ensue if they complied with Ukrainian demands but cracks are certainly appearing in the support for Ukraine. Bellendskyyyyy will not be happy with way things went during the meeting of NATO defense ministers at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Friday, given it became obvious that the allies would not be transferring heavy tanks or advanced long - range missile systems to the Ukrainian battlefield anytime soon.

Latvia’s foreign minister Edgars Rinkēvičs, announced the morning after officials failed to reach an agreement that his country alongside Estonia "called on Germany to provide Leopard tanks to Ukraine now. This is needed to stop Russian aggression, help Ukraine and restore peace in Europe quickly. Germany as the leading European power has special responsibility in this regard."

Several NATO countries have been on standby after expressing willingness to send the highly sophisticated German-made Leopard tanks (which Kiev claims would be a game changer - but how many times have we heard that before?) to Ukraine, namely, Poland, Denmark and Finland - but Berlin has to approve such transfers and has stated unequivocally the tanks will not be provided to Ukraine.

With the USA having denied Bellendskyyyyy's plea for Abrams tanks it appears neither Washington nor Berlin is ready to take the lead on providing the latest ground based weapons to Uktaine, while the UK has said it will only supply its Challenger tanks in concert with other allied nations. Germany's new defense minister Boris Pistorius underlined Germany's position following the meeting saying: "we have to be careful because we have a duty to look carefully and intensively at what might be the consequences for anybody in that conflict."

Poland too is said to be waiting impatiently. "Poland's Defense Ministry did not immediately confirm Reznikov's assertion, but Polish officials have been among the most vociferous voices urging Germany to clear the way for Leopards," according to one US media report. "The Polish government has said it stands ready to send some of its own, though legally it needs Germany to sign off on any such move."

Poland has a long land border with Ukraine and although neo - liberal conspiracy theorists claim Ukraine is simply the first target in Putins masterplan to conquer and subjugate the whole of Europe, and can perhaps be excused a little irrational paranoia. Polish fears would not have been soothed by a statement from Ukrainian defense minister Oleksii Reznikov's who claimed "Countries that already have Leopard tanks can begin training missions for our tank crews" inside Poland. "We will start with that, and we will go from there." The Polish government's response to this has been a deafening silence.

President Zelensky's office has made several scathing attacks on Germany and US slowness to move on the issue, with presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak saying "indecision is killing more of our people." This may be so, but given the number of high tech weapons given to Ukraine so far that cannot be accounted for but have reportedly been sold on to extremist groups in other countries, it is not surprising these nations do not want their latest technology to fall into enemy hands.

So clearly the coalition of liberal democracies that have already committed $£€billions to Ukraine's cause only to see it flushed down the toilet by a bunch of war - crazy, trigger - happy neo Nazis are starting to realise there is no path to a Ukrainian victory and starting to think about cutting their losses.

Do you fancy a mealworm sandwich for lunch?

There have been any number of documentaries and exposés produced in recent decades detailing the dangers of this industrial farming system that we find ourselves beholden to, any number of activists ringing the alarm about these problems, any number of campaigns and marches organized to raise awareness about these issues. Yet still, nation after nation gets fatter and sicker as traditional diets based on fresh produce sourced from local farmers are displaced by the fast food pink slime sourced from the industrial farms of the Big Food oligopoly.

But as bad as things may be, they're about to get even worse. As crisis after crisis disrupts the food supply, the "solution" to these problems has already been prepared. New technologies are coming online that threaten to upend our understanding of food altogether. Technologies that could, ultimately, begin altering the human species itself. Given the World Economic Forums avowed intent to feed us ordinary punters a diet of insects, grubs and recycled shite, and the recently announced EU policy of introducing young childredn to the idea of eating mealworms it seems appropriate to draw attention to the many downsides of eating bugs. James Corbett has written an excellent essay on the weaponization of food in the culture war being waged by the elites on civilised society. 

He looks at some historical examples of just how effective this approach is but also what the future may look like, highlighting some research that is going on currently. For instance, click on the link which explains how DARPA (The Unites States Defense Advanced Research Agency - aka the people who brought you COVID19,) are funding researchers to find ways to turn military plastic waste into protein powder. Yes, really.

“But if this food crisis is being knowingly engineered, the question is why? What purpose would governments have for creating food shortages for their own people?

The answer is simple. We are witnessing a controlled demolition of the food supply chain, one that is intended to result in the destruction of the current industrial farming system as we know it. But this changeover is not intended to return us to truly sustainable farming practices, with local, organic farmers producing crops in accordance with age-old agricultural wisdom. Far from it.

As it turns out, the “solution” to this food crisis being proffered by the billionaires of the corporate-pharmaceutical-medical-industrial-philanthrocapital-military complex is being engineered in laboratories and sold to the public via a bought-and-paid-for mainstream media.

One thing is for certain: the future of food will look very different from anything that we have seen in human history.

My first attempts at feeding insects to friends and family did not go down well. “What the hell is wrong with you?” asked my wife when I revealed that the tomato and oregano-flavoured cracker bites we had been munching with our G&Ts were made from crickets. “Hang on, I’m vegetarian!” cried our friend – which prompted a slightly testy discussion on whether insects count as meat, how many thousand arthropods equate to one mammal and considering almost all industrial agriculture involves the mass slaughter of insects, what’s the difference?

I then tried some Crunchy Critters dried mealworms on my seven-year-old. “It doesn’t taste of much,” he said. His friend wasn’t wild about his grasshoppers either. “The legs are weird.” But connoisseurs insist that dried specimens from a packet simply cannot compare to free-range, seasonal arthropods roasted in their own oils. “The fresh ones are much tastier, of course,” says Dr Monica Ayieko, senior insect researcher from the western region of Kenya – and one of an estimated two billion people who regularly eat insects. “I love the smell of roasting lake flies or crickets. It’s a nice savoury smell. This is one thing we pride ourselves on in Africa – we always eat fresh food.”

 Well eating insects may be a big deal in Africa but we have to remember every poor fucker in Africa is on the brink of starvation. And most people also have about a hundred deadly deaseases, some of which are probably due to eating creatures that feed on shit.

UK Lawmakers Scrutinise mRNA Vaccine Safety Issues At Last

Today (18 January 2023), Sir Jeremy Wright KC MP and I met with Steve Barclay, the Secretary of State for Health, to discuss the plight of victims of Covid-19 vaccine damage and their families. The Secretary of State listened to the concerns we expressed, particularly over the maximum payment of £120,000 under the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme, the 60% disablement threshold under that scheme and the lack of NHS facilities for diagnosis and treatment for victims of Covid-19 vaccine harm. He promised to come back to us, including with his comments on my three Private Members’ Bills, below. Reflecting the increasing mainstream acceptance of these issues, Parliament recently held an E-petition Debate entitled “Covid-19 Vaccines: Safety”, which attracted support from my Parliamentary colleagues. Whilst the Minister’s response to the valid concerns raised was not as helpful as might have been hoped, the debate indicates a growing appetite to scrutinise the issue. Here is the full text, which includes my contributions. I have been building on my previous work by introducing three new Private Members’ Bills this session, together with Explanatory Notes (where applicable) (available on the APPG’s website ): Covid-19 Vaccine Damage Payments Bill seeks to make provision about financial assistance to persons who have suffered disablement following vaccination against Covid-19 and to the next of kin of persons who have died shortly after vaccination against Covid-19. It also seeks to address the problems with the current Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme, particularly with regards the amount of compensation available and the causation threshold; Covid-19 Vaccine Diagnosis and Treatment Bill seeks to improve the diagnosis and treatment of persons who have suffered or continue to suffer ill effects from Covid-19 vaccines; and Covid-19 Vaccine Damage Bill seeks to establish an independent review of disablement caused by Covid-19 vaccinations and the adequacy of the compensation offered to persons so disabled. I continue to raise Parliamentary Questions on key points, including: the current status of the authorisations of the various Covid-19 vaccines, the reasons for delays to, and rejections of, claims to the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme, whether VDPS payments will be carved out for the purposes of Universal Credit entitlements, the reasons for excess death figures, and data regarding certain illnesses which have been suggested to be linked to Covid-19 vaccinations. Saudi Arabia Just Killed The Petrodollar

The last 24 hours have marked another major waypoint along the path to my long-held contention that Russia, China and Saudi Arabia are going to make a massive, collective push to try and dethrone the U.S. dollar as global reserve currency.

Anybody who has read my 23 Stocks To Watch For 2023 (or any of my other recent articles discussing how I am personally positioning myself for this thesis) knows that I believe we are on the precipice of an unprecedented era geopolitically.

Put simply, I believe there is a historic divide in the making between the BRICS nations, led by Russia and China, and the West, led by the United States.

I was one of the few outlets last summer to even report on the fact that Russia and China openly announced a “new global reserve currency” (announced in July 2022, predicted by me in February 2022). And of course, Russia and China can’t do it on their own: they are working with nations like Saudi Arabia and India to help put their plans into practice.

Crucial to dethroning the U.S. dollar would be the removal of its use for buying and selling oil - a system that has been in place since the 1970s when the U.S. promised security for the Saudi Kingdom in exchange for the petrodollar system that underpins the dollar’s strength as global reserve currency. It’s a topic that I discussed at length back in September with Andy Schectman on this podcast.

Andy told me back in September 2022: “The dollar hegemony is right about ready to break when you realize that Saudi Arabia is about to join the BRIC nations. Do you think Biden is going to fly there to ask for more oil? He went there to beg them not to join BRIC.”

They Promised "Safe And Effective"; We Got "Sudden And Unexpected"

In the story Watership Down a group of rabbits flee their home warren of Sandleford, ahead of its imminent destruction at the hands of real estate developers. They set out looking for a safe, new home and among their adventures they encounter another warren called Cowslip. There, all the rabbits are uncharacteristically large, affable and seemingly well fed. For awhile, the Sandleford rabbits think they’ve found a safe haven.

There’s only one problem: every once in awhile one of the the rabbits goes missing. It turns out the entire warren is on a farmer’s land who feeds and otherwise takes care of them, but then sets out snares and traps them from time to time for their pelts.

There is only one rule at Cowslip’s Warren, nobody is allowed to ask or talk about any of the missing rabbits.

I want everybody reading this to think of two numbers from asking you two questions:

Question #1) How many people do you know who died of COVID?

I first started hearing rumblings of a new Coronavirus emerging out of China in January 2020 (although it looks now like COVID was already circulating throughout the world by mid-2019).

When I got wind of it, I was emailing friends and colleagues to get N95 masks and to stock up on groceries and medications. It looked bad. By February I was probably one of the first people seen around town wearing an N95 mask. In March I started running a spreadsheet using R0, fatality rates and case-doubling times that were coming out of the CDC, the WHO, and shrieking hysterics like Eric Feigl-Ding:

The screen grab above is the famous “Holy Mother Of God” tweet, which is sometimes speculated as having rang the bell beginning the global COVID panic. Feigl-Ding refers to it himself as a seminal moment, and he’s also since deleted the tweet. It is archived here.

When it was all unfolding, I was initially afraid. My rough model posited that by the end of May we’d have 442,368 cases with as many as 22,118 fatalities and that was just in Toronto. By the end of July, 1.7 million cases and 88,473 fatalities.

I laid out previously what happened and what turned me into a lockdown skeptic: every day I’d plug in the new case and fatality numbers from the city, the province and federal levels and by the end of May I realized that my model was bust. By fall I knew that case numbers were bullshit (it didn’t matter how many people tested positive on a PCR test) and that lockdowns were a bigger problem than the virus.

Situation report from inside Soledar - 13 January 2023, around noon

 This post has been floating around the darker regions of the web. Obviously Boggart Blog cannot confirm any of the statements made, so as usual with claims from either side about the war in Ukraine, we advise readers to treat it with a degree of scepticism. Our reasons for sharing it with out five thousand or so readers is to provide a counter balance the members of the Zelenskyyyyy fan club who are busy trying to spin this disastrous defeat into another victory for Zelenskyyyyy and the neo - Nazi nutters in Kiev.

From inside Soledar (via Moon of Alabama)

In the Soledar sector, the assault detachments of the PMC "Wagner" are clearing the quarters and underground communications on the western outskirts of Soledar. Today, Wagner entered the territory of the urban-type settlement of Sol and established control over the depot of the railway station of the same name.

▪️In the north-west of Soledar, active battles are taking place on the southern outskirts of Krasnaya Gora and in Paraskovievka near the Bakhmutka River. After the liberation of the railway station Sol, the village of Blagodatnoye was actually cut off from the supply lines from Seversk and Artemovsk (Bakhmut).

▪️The surviving members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Soledar and its environs are spreading information about huge losses in manpower due to command errors. In one of the brigades in the company of the formation, only 30 people remained, and in the battalion of 24 OMBR out of 300, only 100 fighters survived.

Fighting continues in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and its suburbs. After the liberation of Opytnoe by PMC Wagner, position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city is deteriorating.

▪️In Minkovka, a reserve command post for the consolidated group has been equipped, and the forces of the 116th brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Sumy region are expected to arrive.

▪️As a result of the active offensive of the RF Armed Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost control over two company and two platoon strongholds in Artemovsk (Bakhmut), Kleshcheevka and Krasnaya Gora.

▪️Only on January 12, confirmed losses of Ukrainian formations in Artemovsk amounted to 100 people, and 39 were wounded. To strengthen positions, 600 mobilized servicemen without combat experience are expected to be transferred in the near future.

▪️According to the radio interception from Artemovsk, over 800 people have been killed over the past five days, not counting missing and wounded.

In addition, individual units of Polish mercenaries, who were transferred to the direction a few weeks earlier, suffered huge losses.

The Poles spread information about the loss of communication and the complete disunity between the formations in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and the surrounding area. The moral and psychological state of mercenaries is at a low level.

▪️The forces of the 3rd Battalion of the 28th Ombre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted a counteroffensive on Russian positions southwest of Artemovsk (Bakhmust). The attack was repulsed, and separate detachments of the 28th brigade fled from the combat area.

The leadership of the Ukrainian operational-tactical group "Soledar" assesses the situation as critical and expects the intensification of the offensive of Russian troops at the Berestovoye-Spornoye line in order to reach the Seversk agglomeration, as well as in the south at the Ozaryanovka-Mayorsk line towards Druzhba and Dyleevka.

The release of Opytnoe allows the start of advancements on the southern outskirts of Artemovsk (Bakhmut), as well as attacking the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kleshcheevka from the east.

Net Zero Will Lead To The End Of Modern Civilisation, Says Top Scientist

A damning indictment of the Net Zero political project has been made by one of the world’s leading nuclear physicists.

In a recently published science paper, Dr. Wallace Manheimer said it would be the end of modern civilisation. Writing about wind and solar power he argued it would be especially tragic “when not only will this new infrastructure fail, but will cost trillions, trash large portions of the environment, and be entirely unnecessary”. The stakes, he added, “are enormous”.

Dr. Manheimer holds a physics PhD from MIT and has had a 50-year career in nuclear research, including work at the Plasma Physics Division at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. He has published over 150 science papers. In his view, there is “certainly no scientific basis” for expecting a climate crisis from too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in the next century or so. He argues that there is no reason why civilisation cannot advance using both fossil fuel power and nuclear power, gradually shifting to more nuclear power.

There is of course a growing body of opinion that points out that the Emperor has no clothes when it comes to all the fashionable green technologies. Electric cars, wind and solar power, hydrogen, battery storage, heat pumps – all have massive disadvantages, and are incapable of replacing existing systems without devastating consequences.  ...   Not all that many decades ago, certainly within the adult part of my lifetime, it was recognised that both learning and evolving as a person were lifelong processes. Life was a formative experience and if we were lucky and lived long our experiences equipped us to take on many roles as we moved from adolescence to old age. Shakespeare wrote something about that, I recall, from my long ago schooldays.

This is the ideological base underpinning the political objective of ‘queering’ society, and the article is dead right to say that the ‘queering’ of children is child abuse. It needs to be called out. Like many others, I wonder how this will play out, and I don’t have a crystal ball. It does occur to me, though, that without denying the pernicious nature of what is happening, there is a more benign potential outcome.
In my formative teenage years, in the early-to-mid 1970’s, a number of teen groups existed in my English town. There were skinheads, suedes, even a few residual rockers from the 1960’s. I was a frib. Fribs seem to have been a local phenomenon but we were part of a wider post-hippy federation, characterised by long hair, scruffy demeanour, flares and a collection of prog rock albums. It all seemed real enough. If you ran into the wrong gang at night, you could get beaten up. But the long hair and purple flares were part of teenage identity-forming. You belonged somewhere. It had the added benefit of a little rebellion, not conforming to what your parents expected, and it was guaranteed to give your granny a fit of the vapours.
 

The older generations disapproved, and for sure there was a harmful fringe, for example involving drug usage and extreme politics. But the vast majority of us turned out perfectly fine. We cut our hair and packed our LPs into the attic. I wouldn’t want to be my teenage self again, but I look back on those years with some fondness.
 

Fast forward 50 years. I know of a young teenager who recently announced to her family that she has a non-binary identity. I do wonder if a generation ago she might have been a goth, or two generations ago a hippie-chick. What is a teenager to do in the 2020’s? Every possible youth cult has been used up, your mum and dad go to rock concerts and the headline acts at Glastonbury are 80 years old. Teenagers have been offered a new framework with which to formulate their emerging identities, with the added benefits of non-conformance and upsetting your granny, so they grab hold of it.

Of course, the whole thing is damaging and should be resisted, and there is a broad and very dangerous fringe, with well-documented effects: breast-binding, bodily mutilation, regret, psychological damage and so on. But perhaps there is a chance that the queering movement has over-reached itself, that it is now so obviously divorced from reality, and the damage is becoming so apparent that there will be a correction. There’s also a chance that it’s more ephemeral than we think. I suspect that before too long, perhaps when the first teen romance flourishes, that young person will look back at their non-binary announcement with a cringe, and hope everyone forgets all about it. Like your Emerson, Lake and Palmer LPs.
