HOw The Greed And Corruption Of Zelensky And His Cronies Has Undermined Ukraine's Ability To Defend Itself

The confrontation between Vladimir Zelensky’s entourage and the anti-corruption agencies is escalating. The Ukrainian president’s shadow purse is under attack. What role do the US, Europe and Russia play in the internal political strife within the president’s office?

As we reported yesterday on November 10 this year, Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) initiated large-scale searches of a number of state organisations and companies. Operation “Midas” was 15 months in the making, with 1,000 hours of audio recordings collected during the preparation phase. The activities of a high-level criminal organisation were documented as evidence that its members had established a widespread corruption scheme to influence strategic enterprises in the public sector, particularly National Nuclear Energy Company ‘Energoatom’.

Just a few hours before the searches and arrests began, several oligarchs with links to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky left the country urgently. These included Zelensky's right hand man Andriy Yermak, Timur Mindich and the Zuckerman brothers, Mikhail and Alexander. Clearly, they had been warned of the raids in advance.

Timur Mindich is no stranger to scandal, his involvement in skimming off ash from funds donated by the USA, UK, Germany and other NATO members were well known and his extravagances notorious. The photo below shows the golden toilet and bidet in his Kiev apartment, in which a listening device had been installed. Volodymyr Zelensky and his inner circle celebrated his birthday there during the pandemic. During the election campaign, the leadership of the Servant of the People party would sometimes gather in this apartment.

NABU investigators have long suspected Mindich of leading a criminal group. He is a co-owner of the ‘Kvartal 95’ company and was previously closely associated with the comedy activities of the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky. Due to these close ties, it is reported that he is the shadow holder of the Ukrainian president’s assets. The criminal organisation’s main activity before the war was systematically receiving illegal benefits from Energoatom’s contractors, amounting to 10–15% of the contract value.

What NABU's investigation has discovered is not the expected corruption at the margins of Ukrainian government, it was corruption in the beating heart of the Ukrainian state. A €100 million racket buried inside Energoatom, the national nuclear operator, the very company responsible for keeping Ukrainians alive through winter. Contracts for nuclear shielding, grid repair, wartime fortifications, emergency infrastructure, all siphoned, skimmed, or padded for the corrupt oligarchs tied directly to Zelensky’s orbit. This isn’t a flaw in the system, it is the system. NABU described it as a “high-level criminal organization.” 

In any other country, that phrase alone would trigger resignations at the top. In Ukraine, it triggers another round of Western funding, this time via Germany. Because as Energoatom burns under criminal investigation, as Galushchenko and Hrynchuk are forced out, and as Mindich slips out  of the back door, Berlin steps forward with a fresh €40 million for Ukraine’s energy sector. Not after reforms. Not after audits. Not after accountability. But during the scandal. Inside the scandal. Directly into the same corrupt structures NABU is now prosecuting. European taxpayers money is not helping Ukraine's suffering people it is funding that nation's corrupt oligarchs.

This is state-enabled money laundering, funded by German taxpayers. Berlin’s message is clear: German industry can collapse, German families can freeze, German public debt can explode, but the billion dollar wire transfers to Kiev must never stop.  One has to wonder how much of western taxpayers money sent to the crooked, crazy, neo - Nazi - Ukies is finding its way back, via a network of fixers, money launderers and shell companies registered in tax havens to the pockets of western politicians and bureaucrats. But while the money keeps flowing it's no wonder the irrational demands of Zelensky and his cronies have derailed every peace initiative.

The people in Washington and Brussels, Belgium (location of EU and NATO administrative headquarters,) told the world the Maidan coup in 2013, which deposed a corrupt but democratically elected pro - Russian government,  was about fighting corruption. They promised a new era of transparency, accountability, Western values, and rule of law. They said the revolution was a revolt against Yanukovych’s villas and golden toilets. And yet it is Volodymyr Zelensky, through his proxies, allies, and network, who has outdone in coruption and self enrichment, every corrupt predecessor combined, since Ukraine gained independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Germany’s €40 million is is evidence of complicity, proof that Western governments would rather bankroll a collapsing puppet regime than admit their frontline democracy in the proxy war with Russia is a Mafia state. The gangsters are not stealing from the state, they ARE the state.

 Meanwhile, 71% of Ukrainians say corruption has grown worse since the war began. They see the golden toilets returning, not in the mansions of 2014, but in the apartments of Zelensky’s own circle. They see casting agencies magically turned into drone manufacturers with no-bid contracts. They see ministers resign only when the evidence becomes impossible to bury. They see a revolution betrayed, not by Russia, but by those who waved its flag for Western applause. 

Independent Ukraine was not destroyed by corruption. It was built on corruption marketed as virtue, and financed by Europe’s working class. So no more lectures from Brussels about “rule of law.” No more sermons from Berlin about “fighting autocracy.” No more hollow virtue-signaling from the same governments wiring billions into offshore accounts while their own citizens freeze, their industries crumble, and their pensioners ration heat. 

Germany is collapsing its industrial base to bankroll golden toilets in Kiev. French families are tightening belts while drone contractors linked to Zelensky throw champagne-soaked galas. A Labour government (the party of the working class allegedly,) in the UK withdraws pensioners' fuel allowance but can always find money to fund Ukraine's latest insane provocation of Russia, The EU has sacrificed its farmers, its manufacturers, and its energy independence on the altar of a regime now proven to be more corrupt than the one Maidan overthrew. 

NATO leaders told you Maidan was about ending corruption. About breaking free from oligarchy. About a sovereign Ukrainian future rooted in European values, the European Union and NATO. Instead, it’s become the most expensive lie Europe has ever told itself, a lie so deep that the only way out now is to keep funding it, no matter how much it smells like decay. The curtain has fallen. The myth lies in pieces. And the  characters? They’re cashing out, stepping over the wreckage, and heading for Monaco, Abu Dhabi, The Seychelles etc.

Britain's Two Tier Justice System: Police Officer Was Prosecuted For Shooting Gangster Who Drove A Car At Officers While Trying To Escape Arrest

When London Metropolitan Police Officer Martyn Blake fired a single shot through the windscreen of gangster Chris Kaba’s Audi Q8 killing him as he tried to escape after being stopped by police in the South London suburn of Streatham on September 5th 2022 it was inevitable, due to Kaba's colour and ethnic background that the incident would become a big story.

Though the Audi driver's identity was not known at the time, the vehicle had been linked to two previous firearms incidents including a shooting outside a primary school the night before so it was perfectly reasonable for Blake and other officers dealing with the incident to assume the there was a high risk of violence.

Despite this Officer Blake, 40, who had an unblemished record with the Metropolitan Police, was charged with murder with prosecutors claiming his actions had not been “reasonably justified”. That decision to charge him followed a lengthy investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) and consideration by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

However following a three week trial at the Old Bailey, duing which Mr. Blake told the court he genuinely feared for the lives of his colleagues, when Kaba attempted to ram his way through a roadblock in a residential street and also tht he had not intended to kill Kaba but had simply wanted to stop the car driving at his colleagues. The jury took three hours to find him not guilty of murder. No doubt jury members were more aware of how ludicrous Britain's two tier justice system's laws covering polivce use of firearms against dangerous criminals are. We all know about the role of guns in policing as used in the USA. However there is not one of the major European nations where an officer would be prosecuted for shooting dead a suspect who was trying to escape from arresting officers or otherwise resisting arrest.

The verdict was naturally greeted with relief by Mr. Blake’s colleagues, friends and family, but will lead to inevitable questions about why he was ever charged in the first place. Despite being cleared of the criminal charge, Mr. Blake could still have to face a gross misconduct hearing which could result in him being sacked. As a fully trained firearms officer, Bloke is being punished for doing his job.

Following the verdict members of the black community and leftists of all races tried to equate the case to the killing of George Floyd in 2020, disorderly with street protests by Black Lives Matter supporters and claims by Kaba's family that the killing was racially motivated and that the known criminal had led a blameless life. A few days after the verdict was announced the trial judge finally lifted reporting restrictions he had imposed in order to prevent race baiters causing such an outcry with their demands for summary justice and assertions that members of minorities cannot be held accountable to the same laws as white people that a fair trial would have been impossible. Only then was it revealed that Chris Kaba was one of London’s most feared gangsters and the police officer who shot him had a £10,000 bounty put on his head. Martyn Blake now is having to live in hiding, fearing for his life and his the lives of his family after a Kana's criminal associates let it be known they are prepared to offer £10,000 for information on his whereabouts in order to kill him in revenge for the death of Kaba. Only now can it be disclosed that the 24 year-old who used a powerful car as a weapon was high on cocaine that night and still had gun residue on his sleeve and a balaclava in his car, providing “strong evidence” that je had carried out a gangland shooting in Brixton the night before, Mr. Blake’s lawyer Patrick Gibbs, KC, said. It was also revealed he was a leading member of the 67 gang, which police consider the most dangerous gang in South London. Just six days before his death Kaba brazenly gunned down a rival in the middle of a crowded nightclub during a bloody feud for control of a profitable county lines drug network. In the shocking attack captured on CCTV, the gangster started blasting at Brandon Malutshi chasing him outside the Oval Space Club in Hackney, with one of the bullets hitting him in the leg. So, the police officer who was named back in March had his life put in danger and has been into hiding – but the judge banned reporting on Kaba’s history, preventing the public having the full picture and allowing the family and community to portray the notorious gangster as an expectant father and aspiring architect with “so much potential” who had been trying to turn his life around. This is obviously no way to keep the public safe or respect the personal risks that law enforcement officers take to protect us. But it shows us once again that there is now a two tier justice system in operation. Leftists have infiltrated all levels of public life and are determined to advance their 'woke' agenda whenever an opportunity is presented, to the cost of the law abiding majority.

Turkey Resorts To Blackmail (Again), Will Unleash Refugees On Europe If No Visa-Free Travel

After the frentic reporting of events in Syria throughout the early party of the year,  May was relatively quite news wise for us on the middle east.  It was, however, a month that marked new lows in recent EU / Turkey relations.

Following months of appeasement as EU bureaucrats and politicians led by Angela Merkel sucked up to Erdogan, offering money and political favours in return for help in controlling the migrant flow into the EU, which concluded with Merkel offering a deal on behalf of all EU states which she was completely unauthorised to make, under which Turkey would hold Syrian refugees within its borders instead of allowing them to continue onward to Central Europe, in return for cash and fast trcked acession to full EU mermbership, with instant visa free travel within Europe for Turkish citizens as a sweetener. Things promptly fell apart when several EU member states governments pledged to veto any such deal.

 As the best laid plans of Merkel and Erdogan went 'a - gely', less than a month ago a high-ranking deputy for Turkey’s ruling AKP party, Burhan Kuzu and former special adviser to President Erdogan made an explicit threat to Europe which was at that time discussing whether or not to grant Turkey visa-free travel within the continent in spite of the fact that despite several cash payments, promised help from Turkey had not been forthcoming. Specifically, he tweeted, "The European Parliament will discuss the report that will open Europe visa-free for Turkish citizens. If the wrong decision is taken, we will unleash  the refugees!." Where I come from that is called blackmail.

Fast forward two weeks and  we learn that the EU plan to extend visa-free travel privileges to Turkey as of July 1 would be delayed over worries Ankara won't meet the key conditions relating to human rights on time. Erdogan is reported to have said the EU cannot tell Turkey how to run its affairs. Or as The Godfather might have put it, "I'm going to take a leak, by the time I get back your signature or your brains will be on that document."

As Deutsche Welle reported "Chancellor Angela Merkel is in no mood to budge" in what is the first actual indication of resistance by the German to the increasingly more outrageous demands by the Turkey's gangster president.

Erdogan's response was to escalate the threat level:

"The current system falls short... the burden is shouldered only by certain countries, everyone should assume responsibility from now on," he said, making it clear he believes Turkey can tell EU member states how to run their affairs.

"Needs increase every day but resources do not increase at the same pace. There are tendencies to avoid responsibility among the international community," he added. Turkey claims it has spent $10 billion on hosting Syrian refugees, compared to $450 million from the rest of the international community. We should bear in mind perhaps that $10 billion is only a fraction of what Turkey has made from illegally trading oil stolen by ISIS.

The implication was straightforward: send even more money over and above the $3 billion handed previously.

Today, things really hotted up, when Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told state broadcaster TRT Haber on Tuesday that Turkey would have to suspend its agreement with the European Union to stem the flow of migrants into the bloc if there is no deal to grant visa-free travel to Turks.

In other words, no visa-free travel - something both German and the EU are against as of this moment due to concerns it would permit terrorist to slip through Schengen's border - would mean Turkey floods Europe with hundreds of thousands of more refugees.The simple answer to that would be to disband the Schengen zone and for the EU's stronger states help the weaker nations of southern Europe to police their borders and deport illegal arrivals.

We have chronicled the progress of Turkey's President Erdogan as he moved to make himself Sultan of the new Ottoman Empire, the way he acted as a courier, ordering his military forces to supply the ISIS terrorists in Syrian and Iraq with armaments, while he and his family profited from illicit oil trade, buying crude oil stolen from well id Syria and Iraq and selling it in western markets.

In fact we even reported how witnesses said everybody in Turkey was aware of Erdogan's criminaly. In spite of all this, and Turkey's appalling record on human rights, European Union and NATO leaders courted courted the dictator, Europe offering cash and EU membership in return for help slowing the tide of illegal immigrants flowing into Europe, the US led NATO military alliance for Erdogan's support in the effort to depose Syria's President Assad, whose Shia Muslim regime presented the last obstacle to a US / Saudi Arabian plan to push a pipe line from oil and gas fields on the Persian Gulf to the oil terminals on the eastern Mediterranean coast.

Now we hear that, somewhat belatedly, there are signs of a movement to overthrow the Erdogan regime in Turkey. While such a move would have the support of Russia, the USA and NATO would not be happy to lose such an easily bribed ally as the corrupt Turkish regime. So the would could be about to move yet another step closer to World War Three.

The situation in Turkey is bad and getting worse. It’s not just the deterioration in security amidst a wave of terrorism. Public debt might be stable, but private debt is out-of-control, the tourism sector is in free-fall, and the decline in the currency has impacted every citizen’s buying power. There is a broad sense, election results notwithstanding, that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is out-of-control. He is imprisoning opponents, seizing newspapers left and right, and building palaces at the rate of a mad sultan or aspiring caliph. In recent weeks, he has once again threatened to dissolve the constitutional court. Corruption is rife. His son Bilal reportedly fled Italy on a forged Saudi diplomatic passport as the Italian police closed in on him in an alleged money laundering scandal. His outbursts are raising eyebrows both in Turkey and abroad. Even members of his ruling party whisper about his increasing paranoia which, according to some Turkish officials, has gotten so bad that he seeks to install anti-aircraft missiles at his palace to prevent airborne men-in-black from targeting him in a snatch-and-grab operation.

Turks — and the Turkish military — increasingly recognize that Erdogan is taking Turkey to the precipice. By first bestowing legitimacy upon imprisoned Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan with renewed negotiations and then precipitating renewed conflict, he has taken Turkey down a path in which there is no chance of victory and a high chance of de facto partition. After all, if civil war renews as in the 1980s and early 1990s, Turkey’s Kurds will be hard-pressed to settle for anything less, all the more so given the precedent now established by their brethren in Iraq and Syria.

Erdogan long ago sought to kneecap the Turkish military. For the first decade of his rule, both the US government and European Union cheered him on. But that was before even Erdogan’s most ardent foreign apologists recognized the depth of his descent into madness and autocracy. So if the Turkish military moves to oust Erdogan and place his inner circle behind bars, could they get away with it?

Turkey is blackmailing the EU over the migrant crisis, Vojtech Filip, leader of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia province of the Czech Republic commented on the EU-Turkey summit in Brussels. "It is necessary to strictly reject an attempt by Turkey to blackmail the European Union," the Filip said.

The opinion is not held only by political leaders of the left in Czech politics, prominent figures in parties of the right right shared his opinion, including the Civic Democratic Party, the website Ceske Noviny reported.

According to him, like a stereotypical blackmailer The Turkish government in Ankara is not implementing the agreements it reached earlier with Brussels, and will not say what happened to the money it was given 'for help in reducing the flow of illegal immigrants', in fact the numbers of illegal immigrants increased. Instead of acting to stop the traffic from Turkey to the Greek Islands, Turkey's gangster- like President Recep Erdogan simply demands a few €billions more without offering any firm guarantees that he will keep his end of the bargain. It is then an indication of how corrupt the politicians of the EU and USA are that, in order to further their own geopolitical goals they are prepared not only to deal with these gangsters but to sacrifice all the advances towards nationhood the people of Kurdistan have made over several decades to Erdogan's territorial ambitions.
